"Yeah. And, uh, and then you see some of the stuff on, and I don't know, man, like you see some of the stuff that happened last night on social media. And, uh, I, you know, I don't know what to think, you know, I don't know what to think when you see breeze hall and sauce Gardner doing those things. Cause I do think, wait, what did they do? I missed this. I shut four touches. He tweeted out four footballs and then deleted it. And then sauce Gardner sauce. Gardner said something you'd have to Google this one. I'm I'm everything's kind of rattled around in my brain right now, but he did something and then somebody caught him doing it and he told, and then he deleted his Twitter account, just deleted the whole account. Yeah. or deactivated it or whatever, whatever you do. Damn, y'all really love saying my name on this app. LOL CD lamb didn't catch a ball on me today. Oh, that's what it was. Yeah. So somebody posted CD lamb stats as if like the numbers were like exclusively against sauce Gardner. And then he sort of absolved himself of responsibility for CD lambs day and then deleted his Twitter account. Boy, I'll tell you what. Thank God we did not have any sort of social media after like high school football games. It would have been so bad. How bad would that be? And let me just ask you this, because this thought just popped into my head. Like think about Texas high school football. Think about Ohio high school football, Florida high school football, real deal, obviously Pennsylvania, the Mecca of American high school football. Yeah. What if you got to know those kids on a level where, you know, you were familiar with their social media and you just made a cottage industry out of doing shit posts on their tweets after high school football games? Wouldn't that be amazing? It would be like the source material for that is is just it's it's unending. I just gave someone a trillion dollar idea. I I cannot imagine like what a high school football player in Texas probably has to deal with. Like what that guy you know, that guy just fires up Twitter after a game or X. He just fires up Metta and he just decides to start trashing like, you know, his offensive lineman or, you know, some kid from another school. Man, that would be awesome. Although they're all trying to get recruited. Right. Right. I do think in the NFL there probably is some degree of freedom where, you know, Sauce Garden is not going anywhere. He's going to make one hundred million dollars at some point in his life if he hasn't already. And so good for him. You know, don't delete it, though. Just keep it. But but like I just I don't know. I try not to read too much into this stuff, but it's just how quickly it happened. It took like one game. You know what I mean? Like I just it just makes you wonder if everyone in that building is maybe feeling the feeling the weight of everything that they carry for the last six months, like crashing down on them after Rogers got hurt. You know, I it's just because I think the expectations were so high. And if there is like a period of of mourning that maybe extended to the game yesterday over what they've lost, that's probably the wrong word. But like it wouldn't surprise me based on how much like so many people had tied up in the season.

"Yeah, it is. I can't get off the Hamlin pick though. Cause I think there's a special place in hell that people are going to go if they don't vote for him. I know there's going to be a lot of time removed between the terrible hit and everything else between that and the end of the season. But I don't see anyone else getting it, but you do have to go buy it. He gets votes, right? Yeah. So you're Josh Allen though. Your pick isn't bad because unlike MVP, where no running backs or receivers get votes, it's all quarterbacks. Quarterbacks do get votes for, um, offensive player of the year. You'll see it, right? You'll see Rogers. You've seen my homestead in the past. So that's not a terrible pick. And speaking of guys who get votes, Nick Bosa, I would take him now at 12 to one, because even if he sits out a week, I still think this is good. And if he announces he's playing, this will probably go lower for defensive player of the year. He had 237 votes over Micah Parsons who had 101. So you really have to look at who these guys, and it's the same guys voting every year. Nick Bosa, 12 to one, that's for the incumbent. He won it last year. They give it back to back for these guys. Watt won it back to back. Uh, Donald won it back to back a couple of years. So he has 34 sacks in two years and I think he's going to play this week. And I think he's a really good value at 12 to one for that award. Yeah. It's not like the NBA MVP where somebody could just go on TV and start this whole narrative that completely changes the race in five seconds. Right. Right. I, I, I had Parsons plus four 50 written down for that one. I just think he's the best defensive player in the NFC at least. And, um, your team's going to be really good. I don't know what's going to happen with Chris Jones. I don't know when Bosa is coming back, but Parsons still feels like he might have another half level to go up. Yeah. And maybe this is the year where he's so good. Everybody's like, wow. Are him and my homes, the two best players in the league. Like do we start talking about that? So plus four 50, I like, uh, the coaches there's two coach of the year odds that I love Tomlin's 18 to one on FanDuel and Vrabel is a 30 to one. And those are two teams that I like. And if Tennessee wins the division and goes 10 and seven 11 and six, Vrabel's in there and same for Tomlin Pittsburgh. People love Tomlin. I think he's probably it's him and Andy Reed. Who are the most like just hands down beloved coaches. It's him and Andy Reed, I think. Right. We're like, Todd Bowles. No. Yeah. Yeah. It's those two. I think it's those two. And if the Steelers are good, I think there's going to be a lot of Mike Tomlin. Wow. Should we start talking about this guy as like one of the best coaches in a long, long time and stuff like that. So 18 to one, I thought was pretty tasty. Who'd you have for offensive rookie? Well, I, you know, I went Bijan Robinson under eight and a half touchdowns because I feel like there's, boy, there's a lot of, a lot of assumptions built into that number. And by the way, he could have a lot of, he could have like 1700 yards and not have nine, 10 touchdowns, right? Unless he's going to just rip off 60 yarders at a right to a game or something. So I went under there, but, uh, I'm going to be boring and pick him to win that award. Anyway. What, uh, I like Stroud at 10 to one. I like Stroud a lot more than a lot of people do, but I would take those two. I had this as a stay away category. I like Gibbs, but I didn't like the nine to one. I wish Gibbs was like 12 to one. It goes back to the Gibbs overvalued thing. Defensive rookie. I love Carter for plus five 50. Like if you, with the way people are talking about him, it just seems like he's going to be immediately an impact guy for the Eagles. And, uh, when you get the name baby rhino in August, I mean, so plus five 50 couldn't really, you know, sometimes a cornerback can sneak in there for this, but you know, that would be a pretty big leap for Gonzalez or Witherspoon. And I'm pretty sure Fandle had Carter or Nolan Smith to win rookie of the year. You get both of them. They do. Right. Then we go over that. I think it was five to one. Yeah. So I, I, I just rather have Carter, um, the least amount of points. Hmm. I narrowed it down to Arizona five to one or Carolina eight to one. Would you have anyone else in that conversation? I had the Colts at 10 to one. I'm just, it could just be an abject disaster. The defenses aren't spectacular in that division. So that might, that might be the problem with this one, but I don't want to count them out of anything, um, futility wise. So what, if you had to bet on one of those, what would we do? I like the Carolina eight to one. Okay. I'll go to the Colts, but I like Rams worst record 10 to one. I feel like we're seeing it already with the Cooper cup, like I said, and they're going to be a shell of themselves. And, um, and then you're just like, Oh my, why am I just, I'm betting on the Jersey here and the fact that they won the super bowl a couple of years ago, but this is a garbage team. So it is very strange what's happened to that division where it's, it's so top heavy. Like the two, the two bottom teams could win a combined seven games. Yeah. There's no value for Arizona. They're plus two 50 for worst record. Carolina 20 to one. I thought it was pretty interesting. And, uh, Vegas 13 to one, if you're looking for more long shots one, but I'm with you, I think the Rams 10 to one, if the cup thing starts out and then Stafford, whatever happens, it could be one of those where they just say, screw it. They got Caleb Williams in their backyard and maybe they just say they're, they're smart enough and secure enough in their coach. They won a super bowl a couple of years ago. Maybe that's the team that goes, wait a second, what are we doing? I just find it hard to believe McVeigh would, would tank. Um, by the way, there's some all wind totals. There's a, that I love doing on FanDuel and Rahim is a big fan of Rahim always talks about how there's some of the best value there, but Arizona under five and a half wins was minus two 70. And unfortunately they don't let you to parlay a lot of those. But, um, but the, my, I'm just trying to think of a scenario where Arizona goes six and 11 and that might be the rare future where it's okay. Laying the juice. Right. Yeah. Yeah. That's not bad. I think we discussed that cause I'm, I'm not in love with the four and a half, but I don't think they're going to get to six, right? Six and 11 would be six. They'd have to sweep the Rams and then they'd have to, I'm trying, I'm saying I'm looking at their schedule. It doesn't, they don't have a lot of wins on that schedule. They'd have to sweep the Rams and upset somebody else and they'd have to be, trying their hardest the whole year. There's some exact bets that I liked. Arizona to go three and 14 plus four 40 Pittsburgh to go exactly 11 six, seven to one green Bay to go 10 and seven, exactly seven to one Buffalo to go nine and eight is plus 700 and Carolina to go four and 13 was plus nine 50. So I enjoyed those. What, uh, wait, any futures that you loved? Yeah. With that, the exact ones, I think focus on the North, the AFC North where a lot of those teams are locked into, all right, they're going to win eight or nine or Ravens are going to win nine or 10 or, you know, the Bengals are going to win 10 or 11 like lock in. I think you got like plus five 50 for all of those numbers. And then if you get lucky, you could hit on a couple of those as well. That's smart. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, we talked about this on the AFC preview, Titans, Jags, Texans, Colts in that order. Fandle has the exact orders for all these 12 to one that pays. Um, I love that one. There, there's also another division one that I like Pittsburgh to win that division. You don't, but Pittsburgh, Cincy, Cleveland, Baltimore, and that order was 25 to one. And then Packers, Detroit, Minnesota, Chicago is another one. I liked that was 16 to one, but we both liked the San Francisco, Seattle Rams cards. If you want to have the Rams ahead of the cards, that's plus two 40, not great value, but I feel like you can hedge that with the Rams and the cards. Right. So you just think it's going to be nine or Seahawks. Um, and maybe just hope it's Rams third, but then if it's gets a little shaky down the stretch, you could hedge it one way or the other way. Do you have any other ones of those? Um, I didn't have too many because I feel like we butted heads on some of these, but yeah, you're right. That, uh, NFC West one, that's really one of the few that you only have to decide who's going to come in third or fourth because yeah, first or second seems pretty, pretty, um, set. I'm looking at some of these others. What else did I have? Yeah, they have a, a handle. There's a great thing where they divide it by division. So you could have, I think this is a good one. I know that I'm not doing anyone any favors with the VIG at minus one 65, but Derek Carr to have the most regular season passing yards and the NFC South, right? I, we could see a change in quarterback for any of those other three positions at the point, right? We, we, all right. Rice, young, exciting. Is he going to, is his game going to lend itself to a big passing yardage season? Um, you know, Baker could be in and out of there. And then who am I missing? Desmond Ritter. I love car there at minus one 65. I liked it too. I didn't, I hate the negative odds with the, with the future prop, but I thought I had thought the same thing. That one jumped out of me. So my favorite one of those, I love those division by division leader things. Ramondre my guy is plus one 70 to be the highest AFC Russian guy this year. And last year he was at 1040 and he only started seven games cause they had Harris there, bring them in. And then he kind of took over the job as the game went along as the season went along. I just think he's an awesome player. He's really good. He's one of the best players in the team. And then you compare like breeze hall and Dalvin cook and the jets, who the hell knows Miami situation. That's already in flux, maybe most are. And then James cook and Buffalo, but Buffalo always uses like a ton of different running backs. I couldn't believe he was plus one 70. I thought that was one of the best bets on the board. That's excellent. Considering every one of those other teams you mentioned was vying for Dalvin cook and Jonathan Taylor the last two weeks, right? Oh, how good would the dolphins be with Jonathan Taylor? Like, Oh yeah. Oh yeah. The jets need Jonathan Taylor. Yeah. Well that, that's why plus one 70 for Stevenson's good. He needs to get more than he, he got like 14 carats a game is the only problem. And, and Bella check, anyone to shine in that running back slot, right? Yeah. They're going to have Zeke, but I just he started to become a third down guy for them a little bit as the season went along. I just think he's going to have the ball a lot. I also thought another one that jumped out of me and Ben and she'll mentioned this on the Friday pot they did on ringer. And if I was the Garrett Wilson most receiving yards was 20 to one, which you figure like he had a really good year last year with terrible quarterbacks. And now he's got it. Worst case scenario, a solid quarterback. He's clearly the number one guy. And is there a world, you know, where he has like 1700 yards receiving or something like that? I thought the 21 was high. Were you surprised by that? Yeah, it should be. You're right. And I think there's a lot of good receivers on there that could potentially break this record. Fandle has this, sorry to move over yours, but any player breaks most receiving yards this year, the record at plus four 30 and that's Calvin Johnson has it at 1964. We saw Jefferson at 1800. I mean, really you're a game away. Yeah. Half a game away from, from doing this. So plus four 30 is nice. The other receiver I liked was Diggs. I'm not, I think this is all noise about how he and Josh Allen, they don't speak and everything. I see him having a big year, 12 to one for most touchdowns. He was third last year with 11. He had 10 the year before most touchdowns. You can win it with 11 or 12 or 13, right. Um, most years. So 12 to one, I thought it was good for Diggs. Yeah. There's one hurts. Most rushing TDs was plus seven 50, which I liked because you know, around the goal line, they do that push play and all that stuff. Garrett Wilson last year, how many receiving yards do you think he had last year? He played every game, 17 games. If you had to guess Zach Wilson, Mike white and that scramble guys, his quarterbacks, Joe Flacco I guess was in there too. Eight fifty eight, eight 85. No, what was it more than that? He had 1,103 receiving yards last year as a rookie. Wow.

"It's Aaron Rogers. There's a case that he's not going to be very good this year because they can't fucking block. And Breeze Hall, as we've talked about, is a two year injury and Garrett Wilson is great, but that's really it for receivers that scare you on the team. And Robert Sal is the coach and people are treating Aaron Rogers as like, he's still in that, like Joe burrow, Trevor Lawrence class. And I'm not sure he is not, not to mention the fact that, what is he, 39 years old now? It's 40 team, 40 years old, really, really hard schedule, hard division. Last year, he threw for 36 95, 26 TVs and 12 picks, which basically I can get from what, 16 quarterbacks in the league. But I think there's this Renaissance of Rogers jets looks, Oh my God, you know, and two years ago at 48 TVs and all that. And I just don't see it because I don't think they're going to be able to block for him. So to me, he's a stay away. Yeah, no, I mean, listen, I didn't include him on my list just because I don't think he's being drafted high enough to make or break your team. Fair. I think he's, I think it's more make or break for NFL. I will, in today's NFL, in today's NFL, you need to be one of two things. You need to either be a dual threat, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, you know, fields, Lamar Jackson, somebody like that. Somebody, again, four of the six quarterbacks last year in points per game had at least 700 rushing yards. Justin Fields. You need to either be a dual threat like that, where you get your points with arms or your leg, or you have to have 35 to 40 passing touchdown upside. Joe burrow, Justin Herbert, by the way, Joe burrow had five rushing touchdowns last year, like, you know, just gimmies. But so you need to either be like just a pocket passer that can have just a massive touchdown. Mahomes right. Somebody like that. And Mahomes still gets you 20 yards a game. Um, or you need to be a true dual threat. Aaron Rogers isn't running, right. He's, he's just not running. So then you're like, okay, well, does he have 35 passing touchdown upside? And the answer is no, because to your point, the jets are in a very tough division. They've got a really good defense. They're not going to get into shootouts. One of the reasons why they went on and got Dalvin cook to go along with Greece hall is because they want a more balanced offense. Again, go back to that 2021 season. They, they want to be more balanced on offense. They don't want to put it all on Rogers. Rogers isn't an idiot. He's not going to be like, I'm going to do this all myself. Like he wants help. Uh, he chose to go to the jets cause he knew they were, they had all the pieces except for quarterback. They were quarterback away. Aaron Rogers doesn't need to be Aaron Rogers with a, you know, with a Cape and MVP Aaron Rogers. He just needs to be an above average NFL quarterback and they've got a real shot. So I don't think that he has a, I don't, I have no interest in him fantasy wise this year because I just don't think he's going to run. I think he's fine. It's going to be QB 15. Um, and there are other guys with more upside. It's going to be Derek Carr, you know, like I don't think people realize this though. And I'll tell you this, I would much rather have Anthony Richardson than Aaron Rogers for fantasy this year. Sure. Oh yeah. No question. And I'd rather have fields too. And those are people that aren't as good at quarterback as Aaron Rogers is, but it's fantasy. And the sleeping giant with fantasy, the last, I don't know, 15 years has been these quarterback running stats. And I always discount them. I always look at like, I just want passing yards and TVs. It's easier to follow. But then you go against these guys like, Jesus Christ, Jalen Hurts had 40 points yesterday. And you, you know, I think people get it more than they did. Yeah. I mean, I don't, just so you know, I don't think anyone thinks of, I mean, I have Richardson at 12, I have fields at seven. I have Rogers, I think at QB 17. Like I don't, I'm, uh, I'm pulling up ADP. I'm pulling up the ADP on, uh, fantasy life.com, by the way, to get a plug in there. Uh, because we have on fantasy life.com, we have the ADP for all the different providers, but at the quarterback position right now, Aaron Rogers, is, uh, you know, he's going like outside the 10th round on every site. Oh, so then he's not a maker. He's going to pick one Oh two on Yahoo. He's going at one 21 on underdog. He's going at one Oh six on FFPC. Like his, you know, he's, he's QB like 15. He's going out and Gino Kirk cousins, Daniel Jones, Dak, you know, Then I'm going to give you a different guy, Brock Purdy. Okay. One dollar. Yeah. I think you could end up starting in some weeks that, that that offense is loaded. He's a hundred. He was a top 10 fantasy quarterback down the stretch. And he was, um, he threw at least two touchdown passes in every game he started. And now it's another year in Shanahan system. And the thing that's brilliant about Shanahan is that he will, he will scheme that, you know, he'd be like, listen, Brock, all you, what he's the issue with Brock Purdy in college talking to, you know, my scouting buddies, right. They said the issue with Purdy was always that just all mental mistakes. Yeah. And what, what Shanahan is brilliant at is sort of eliminating the mental, like you don't need to think about this, this and this and this. All you need to do is here's this read. And if this read isn't there, you're going here. And it's just very simple. You know, how it's been explained to me is that he's really good at Shanahan's really good at sort of scheming it up. So that's really simple for Purdy and the skills can, can take over. And to your point, like that's a guy that can throw a five yard out to Christian McCaffrey. And then he's running 40 yards for a touchdown or Deebo Samuel or Brandon IU or George Kittle. Like they have all these guys that are so good after the catch that all he has to do is be semi accurate, which he was down the stretch last year as a, you know, as a third string rookie. Now he comes into camp knowing like, he's the guy, they've told them like, you're the starter, you're a QB one. So, uh, I don't mind, I don't mind Purdy at all as like a guy for, to your point in the, uh, you know, in the auction as a, um, a late round guy. We got to wrap it up. Who's your number one guy this year? Justin Jefferson. Okay. Justin Jefferson. He's my number one overall guy. Yeah. Okay. It would be interesting to see the list of all your number one guys heading into the season over the last 25 years. Like Tomlinson had to have been that for like three, four years in a row, right? Oh, sure.

"All right. He's got some new headphones. This is going to be great. We're not going to talk over each other anymore. Matt Deberry, seven more make or break guys for you. Who's number four? Tua Tonga by Aloha. Wow. He probably should have been the first guy we mentioned. And then the Dolphins fans get mad because they're like, can you not, can you break down our team without saying like, we have no idea if our quarterback's going to play more than four games. It's like, I'm sorry. I have no idea if your quarterback's going to play more than four games. My bad. You guys, you guys started a playoff game with Skylar Thompson. Yeah. Seems relevant. Yes. Yeah. So look, I mean, last two years, he's missed eight games, obviously wasn't cleared until January 31st. He missed four games, multiple concussions. You hate to sort of say make or break based on injury because again, it's the NFL and anyone can get injured, but it's such a, I mean, you know what I mean? Like, because last year, last year, this is a guy who led all quarterbacks and passer rating at all quarterbacks and yards for pass attempt. He had the second highest touchdown ratings, fifth and passing yards per game. Like when Tua was out there, Tua was great. And second year in McDaniel system, we've heard a lot of talk about him. McDaniel system is similar to Kyle Shanahan's. We've heard a lot of talk about, you know, the, how intense and complicated that system is and you need multiple years in a system. And so I think, again, you hate to say this, but right, if he's healthy, like Tua can have a monster year, the dolphins could have the best offense in football. That's not out of the realm of possibility, given the weapons they have and the scheme that he's going to run. Well, also in the off season, he talked about, I seriously thought about retiring. That doesn't make me feel super confident either about spending whatever, just from a fantasy standpoint. So I, I think he's fun to have as your second quarterback, if you could just play him a bunch of times, but I don't think he could be your lead guy in fantasy. I think you'd have to have a really good backup. You can't just be like, I'm all in on Tua. If he gets hurt, that'll be it. Like you have to have two guys. It depends on your league. Uh, you know, I mean, like if you're in a one quarterback league, I think you can because usually the replacement value is pretty easy. There's enough guys in the waiver wire that you'll be able to get another quarterback if something happens there, but not in my league, seven quarterbacks, you're not getting, you're not getting, I'm stacking all of them in my league, as you know, quarterback quarter. Right. This is, so this is advice for everyone that plays in leagues that aren't with Bill Simmons. So this is not for your West coast league. This is not your league of dorks, but for any of the, uh, for anybody that plays in a league with normal people, that doesn't have a guy in your league that drafts seven quarterbacks, I think you'll be okay. But yeah, it's a concern. The positives, uh, is that, you know, that last year Tyree killed Jalen waddle, all their guys, it didn't matter who was quarterback. They still produced with Bridgewater. They still produced with Skylar Thompson. So maybe you take Tua with Mike White as the backup. Is that crazy? Mike White for a dollar. Who's bidding two on Mike White. Yeah, no, listen, no, one's saying two on Mike White. I don't, again, if you're in a deeper league, if there's a concern that you wouldn't be able to get him on the waiver wire, if something were to happen, then okay. But I agree with you. I think Mike White is going to be a better fit as a quarterback for Miami. Should something happen to Tua than the guys they had last year. I really liked Mike White. He was bad down the stretch, but he was also banged up. I don't know how much one had to do with the other, but he, uh, he didn't seem like he could hold up for three games. Now the Jets can't block. So maybe not totally his fault, but yeah, to a thing, I'll tell you this with Tua and we're a lot less meaner as a society than we used to be in the early years of fantasy when, uh, way back in the 1990s with the jokes and the, and this amount of sarcasm and just the lack of lines, there will be some snickers when Tua gets drafted just from a fantasy standpoint, somebody in the room will be like, Oh, okay, so who's going to be your starting quarterback and you'll get all those jokes, but you just, you just got to know he could play four games. He could play 17. But he's, he's one of those guys that could make a break. I am at quarterback 10. He's got top five fantasy quarterback upside, but he also, to your point, he could, he could retire at some point. Right. All right. Who's next? Uh, well, it's interesting. You mentioned Mike White. You mentioned that, uh, that offensive line breeze hall is when does he come back? Like I saw clips of him running around looking great, but that seems inconceivable. He tore his ACL in November, I think. Yep. And so, uh, week seven, his life, his life, his left ACL and his meniscus. And again, he's a young player, but the other thing is, is that they don't, that's a team, the jets that, that, you know, obviously legitimately thinks they have Superbowl aspirations that they have a chance to Superbowl. They're all in for this year, obviously with Rogers. And so for their point of view, they need breeze hall in December and January. And that's one of the reasons they went on, they got Dalvin cook. You mean fantasy playoff time, December and January. Yeah. But how are you, but in terms of where breeze hall is going, you're using that draft capital to get breeze hall. And if he's not that guy, if he's not the guy that you saw week three through seven, where he averaged over 18 fantasy points per game, where he was getting 19 touches a game, where he averaged 122 yards from scrimmage in the four games that he had 14 more touches. And he's not that guy. Um, and he's just merely like, you know, one B to Dalvin cooks one a or anything like that. Then you're sort of like, okay, like breeze hall, a healthy breeze hall is awesome. I have a suspicion about how I think the backfield split is going to go between him and cook. And I'll talk about that in a second, but we just don't know. We don't know how healthy he is. Even if he's healthy, does he have the explosiveness? Remember with Saquon Saquon had the ACL and he came back, but he wasn't Saquon. He didn't have that big play burst ability. You know, it took him quite a while to sort of work up to that, even though he was out there grinding it out. And so if he doesn't have that big playability or if they're limiting him because they want him to work into shape and they they've got, you know, Dalvin cook, you know, I haven't running back 14, but that's a guy that could easily be a top 10 running back. That could be guy that could also finish the year outside the top 30 wide range for, for breeze hall, especially because by the way, you also, again, he's a young player and you know how Rogers is. If Rogers is like Dalvin cook picks up the blitz and breeze hall does it or whatever. Like he wants a veteran back there. Dalvin cooks on the jets, I think in large part because Aaron Rogers wanted a veteran. You know how Rogers is? You mean, so I shouldn't buy the infomercial hard knocks that is just making Rogers seem like he's the greatest guy who ever lived. I just think Aaron Rogers is a guy that's going to be very demanding. He's very demanding on his teammates. He's obviously, he's hit, he's coming back. He's come to New York. He's, he gave up whatever, $35 million or whatever it is. He restructured his deal like Rogers is all in for this year as well. And so he's not going to, you know, he's not going to be like, listen, I'm not going to get my ass kicked because, you know, Donovan Knight, Donovan Knight or, you know, Michael Carter didn't pick up a blitz, get me, or, you know, get me a veteran back there, get me a real guy. And so think about 2021 with Aaron Rogers and Nathaniel Hackett were together into green Bay the last year they were together in 2021 in green Bay. Aaron Jones got about 18 touches a game. AJ Dylan got about 13 and obviously Dylan and Jones are very different players than Cook and Hall, but I think the splits about right. I, you know, they used both backs, Dylan and Jones very effectively that year. That was the year that Rogers won the MVP in 2021. You made the key point already. The Saquon Barkley, it's a two year injury. And every time we do this, the guy is coming back a year later and they're like, oh, he might be on play. Everyone gets excited. And then the year doesn't go as well as everybody thought it was going to go. And then they're like, well, it is a two year injury. And then a year later, the guy comes back and he's awesome again. It's like, you know, it was a two year injury. So Breece Hall is just going to be different. In his case, it's going to be a one year injury and I'm two year injury. I just don't think he's going to have the same explosiveness. And I think Cook's going to eat into his carrots. He's not on my list. So, and by the way, and you know, kind of an addendum to him, he wasn't gonna be one of the guys I brought up and Javonte Williams is under that same, is in that same conversation. Another guy that, you know, that touch that, that had a, that was really talented, but had a bad ACL injury. They signed Samajit Pirain to real money. Sean Payton, his last five of his last six years that he was coaching the Saints, Sean Payton gave 150 touches to multiple running backs. Five of the six years he was with the Saints and Samajit Pirain's been giving interviews like, why'd you go to Denver? He's like Sean Payton called me and said like, look at how I used running backs in Denver. I'm sorry, New Orleans. I'm going to use multiple running backs. You're going to have a real role come to Denver. So even though it's great, Devontae Williams played week two and awesome story, but like does he have the explosiveness? How much does Samajit Pirain touch the ball? Does Sean Payton try to turn, you know, Greg Dulchis into his version of Taysom Hill in Denver like a joker and do weird stuff in the backfield? Like it's, you know, so Javonte Williams is another guy that's sort of like, not on my list. Yeah, not on my list. Who's next? Najee Harris. So before you go, I'm, I'm kind of out. I actually think the backup's going to cut into a lot of the stuff. The backup was good. Is that where you're going? Jalen Warren. That's so like, these aren't people that I'm definitely in on. These are, these are the top 10 guys that could make or break your season. These are guys, I didn't want to go with somebody that's got a, you know, an ADP in the sixties, cause that's not going to break a breakup scene. But like Najee Harris is being drafted as a running back too. He's going in the, you know, the first four rounds in most drafts. Um, and so that's somebody who, if you leave your draft with Najee Harris is you're running back too. If he's the Najee from two years ago or whatever. Okay, great. But if he's the guy from last year where he averaged 3.8 yards per carry, which is bottom five among running backs with a hundred or more carries where he's 5.5 yards perception per reception, second lowest among qualified running backs and 10 different games with a snap rate below 70%. To your point about Jalen Warren, like who looked awesome and ripped off that 63 yard touchdown in the preseason. Like, yeah, Najee Harris is somebody that again, could be a top 15 fantasy running back could also be outside the top 40 and not be as good as Jalen Warren. Yeah. Here's a good trivia question for you. Bill last year, Najee Harris had 313 touches, 313 out of those 313 touches. How many of them went for 20 or more yards? Oh God, probably like less than 10. I would say like eight. One. Wow. He had one carry of more than 20 yards out of 313. Wasn't there all kinds of stats about how bad he was at making guys miss and I, I test wise, cause I remember coming out of college, everybody loved him and was like, Oh my God, that guy's a beast. I test wise, I never could ever really stood out to be that much. He might be Trent Richardson. Oh wow. I just was like, you know, I mean, again, this is a guy who last year, you know, again, had over 300 touches. He was top eight in both goal to go touches and red zone touches among running backs. He had double digit fantasy points in 14 to 17 games. Like there's a volume based argument for Najee Harris. The question is, does he get the volume? Because to your point, Warren continues to like, look good, look like a running back, be more efficient. My Steeler fan friends. Cause I've mentioned this Najee thing to them. And they're like, Oh, did you say he'd be Shribisky as his quarterback for eight man fronts and that whole thing. So there is a case like, all right, he's in a better situation. Pittsburgh, I think has a chance to be really good. They have, they, uh, they finished the year seven and two, which everybody's talking about the lions as this amazing, Oh my God, the lions could look at how they finished the year. And it's like, well, the Steelers also finished the year. Well, we don't talk about them at all. Um, and I, I kind of like picket. I thought he was okay last year. I don't think he's an all pro, but he's okay. He's better than Mitch Trubisky. So I think that division's going to be awesome. I, by the way, I agree with you. Like I pick, it's one of my sleepers. So I've got my love hate column coming out later this week and picket's going to be on it as one of my, you know, others receiving votes in the quarterback. I really like him. I think he's more, again, he's, he's not super mobile, but he's, you know, 20, 30 yards a game, mobile and Deontay, Johnson's second year, George Pickens, Pat fryer, Muth like they said Allen Robinson in the slot, the ghost of Allen Robinson, like in the slot could be useful. Like, I, you know, like this weapons, they finished this year strong. I like Pittsburgh. I'm with you. I, and I do think picket is, uh, I think potentially in a deep at two quarterback league or a deeper league, I think he's an interesting sleeper. I like Pittsburgh this year as a kind of a sleeper offense. I have a joke that only you will get. And for other people, Allen Robinson, the Carla Gugino of fantasy receivers, just each year, like this is the show, this is a movie it's gonna, no, she's in a movie with the rock. This is it. It's good. It's going to hit. Allen Robinson maybe 45 and we're still going to be thinking this is going to be the year for him. Carla Gugino. I'm trying to, there was a TV show that she was in. I mean, there's a million things that she was in. There was a cop show. I think that they tried to make her, she was in the Showtime roadies show. Uh, but she, San Andreas was probably the closest she came, but I always liked her. I was like, just somebody put her in a good movie. She was a T bill. Uh, this is adjacent to our nine Oh two and Oh love. Wasn't she in Melrose place for a minute? No, I think she just looked like four people that were on Melrose place. She might've been on one of the reboots. Maybe. All right. So we're, we're agreeing too much. Who's next? I can't wait to argue with you about one of these guys. All right, we'll figure it out. Uh, other guys that I think could make or break your season that just wide range of outcomes. How about JK Dobbins? So I think the rate the Ravens offense I think is going to be awesome this year. I think awesome. Awesome. So first off, Lamar's happy. He got paid. Todd. Munkin is the new offensive coordinator. You think about what he did at Georgia. Like, I think they are going to be much more pass heavy. I think they're going to be much more uptempo. Hopefully they, you know, Bateman stays healthy, but adding OBJs a flowers is the real deal. They already have Mark Andrews, like that's going to be an uptempo fantasy friendly offense. Okay. Um, and, but with JK Dobbins, like, you know, like again, so I can give you positive stats like forest career, 5.9 yards per carry, which is the highest among all running backs of that stretch. Minimum 200 carries three of us final four games last year. If you return from injury had 90 more rushing yards, he's averaging a rushing touchdown every 20 carries for his career. That's top five among running backs over that stretch. And yet he's never had a game with more than 17 touches. He's had under 15 touches in 17 of his 23 career games. Baltimore actually ranks 28th and running back carries over the past two seasons when they run the ball, it's often with Lamar. And I don't think it's going to change much because I think they're going to be much more pass happy this year. He's got one game in his career. JK Dobbins has one game in his career with over 25 receiving yards. He's a nothing in the passing game. So it's just like, if JK Dobbins is the lead running back on an offense, he's in scoring position off and he could get a bunch of kind of bunny touchdowns. He could also just be in this weird mix with it's him. And it's Gus Edwards. And there's some justice Hill and Lamar Jackson leads the team in rushing again. And they're just throwing the ball all over. Other piece, their defense looks like it might be in trouble this year. They've already had some bad luck on the injury front. It was dubious in general, even before Humphrey went down. Um, and I'm wondering, are, are there going to just be higher scoring Ravens games this year? Yeah. And more like that 37 30 game near the end of the year against Pittsburgh is that, is that just going to be, you know, just a little more fun Ravens team than we're used to a little less Justin Tucker, more touchdowns, a little more explosive. I just feel like they've changed their identity every year. And how many times have they brought in a first or second round receiver at this point? Like, are we up to 10 and each year it's like this guy, Marquis Brown, just wait. Who's that guy? Boykin, Miles Boykin. Um, that, but it just seems like this rotating cast and they've never totally unlocked it. And also like, I know they paid Lamar, but they also, they paid Lamar and, you know, that comes with a different level of expectations. What happens if they start out, you know, two and four, and he throws a couple of picks and people are like, fuck man, we gave you all this money. So I don't, I'm just not as locked in on them as I think other people are. I don't know. They love it. They almost went to Cincinnati and, you know, and beat the bangles in the playoffs for the backup quarterback. I think Harbaugh is a hell of a coach. Those guys, I think the Ravens always play tough. And, uh, you know, I, I do think, you know, hope Springs eternal with OBJ, but if he's back to anything like the fact that Lamar called him, recruited him there, um, I do think Munkin wants to, I mean, every stop of his career, Munkin has just been a guy that throws a ton. And so Bateman, if you look at the kind of the underlying metrics of Bateman, like in terms of, you know, um, there's, I think there's, I have, I've ever shot Bateman in way too many dynasty leagues. So I like Bateman. You don't have to sell me on Bateman. I mean, I, I agree. Bateman's good. He's got flowers. I think it's the real deal. So, so anyway, I'm, I'm, I'm in on, uh, but JT, JK Dobbins wide range of outcomes. I don't love, I don't have a lot of JK Dobbins this year. I probably won't be drafting him a lot, but that's a guy that was another wide range of outcomes guy. I think one thing with Baltimore, first of all, their schedule is brutal coming out of the gate. They have like four or six, but just in general, they're playing AFC South and NFC West. You go through, there's like a lot of like gimme games with them that I wonder like when you talk about running backs, you know, they get to play Arizona and they get to play Houston. And what if Tennessee's not good? They get to play Indianapolis early. And could there be some games where they're just stat like if they're stacking and they're like 30 30 and 10 and Dobbins is getting cheap ones near the end, something like that. I don't know what to expect from them. I've in general, I've not had a lot of fun with Ravens on my fantasy team and I don't really know what that is. Well, yeah, they, they're one of those teams that's other than like Andrews and Jackson. They, one of those teams, it's like much better real life NFL team than a lot of fantasy points. Tucker's always great though. Tucker's been the most reliable. Yeah. Tucker's great. Jackson's great when he's out there. Obviously Andrews is great, but then you're like, you know, the next day, you're like, wait a minute, six for 73 from Devin DuVernay. Why did that happen? Right. All right. Who's next? Okay.

We'll settle on a poll question. Do you have a poll question Satan? Is it Aaron Rodgers jets related? Well, we could go with an Aaron Rodgers one. I have another one that I'm more interested in though. Although we haven't spent much time talking about it just yet. Okay, we'll save that one then. Yeah. Here's one, it's kind of a vague poll question. Should the packers do the right thing and take a nice tradeoff for now or hard line this thing as Rogers is on his way out? Well, they could do the right thing, but then the Jets have to do the right thing and give them. I don't want to put all of this on the packers. Like, hey, do the right thing. Right, I guess what I'm saying is, if you do the packers, are you cutthroat about this on the way out? Completely cutthroat and say, we do not care anything about our former legend on the way out. We're going to get everything we can from. Okay, I'll ask Peter king. Peter king football morning in America, columnist, proud member of the Ohio bobcats fan club and Pete joins us now. All right, Pete. What should or will the packers ask for from the judge for Aaron Rodgers? The only thing that makes sense is one solid draft choice now. And I believe solid equals a second round draft pick now. Okay. And then a draft pick most likely in 25. That is conditioned on Aaron Rodgers playing football for the New York Jets in 2024. And if he doesn't, then the jets would, you know, then the compensation in 2025 would just be a second round pick. The only reason I'm saying this, Dan, you compared it to Matthew Stafford. Not really apples at Apple. Stafford's 33 years old at the time of that trade actually is a weak shy of 33 at the time of that trade. And for all anybody knows he's going to play 5 or 6 more years. Aaron Rodgers is going to be 40 years old this season. This will be his age 40 season. And he is so flighty and unpredictable about his future that you truly he might say today. Yeah, I'm in for at least two years, hopefully three. But if he only plays one year for the jets, it seems a little bit ridiculous to say, we'll give you two ones or we'll give you a one and a two. The way the only way this trade makes sense is to take something solid now, let's say a second round pick right now. And then if Aaron Rodgers plays football in 2024, then the jets owe the packers a first round draft choice. Yeah. Okay. Who has leverage here? I mean, Green Bay can play hardball for a long time. Because now everybody knows that Rogers is playing for the jets. And the jets to a certain degree can play hardball too. The only problem is this, you don't want this to be a long national nightmare. You want Aaron Rodgers at the start of the off season program or soon after that to be in your building, getting to know Garrett Wilson. You know, in breeze hall and all of these guys who he's going to have to make beautiful music together with, if you're going to conquer, you know, probably the conference in NFL history that has the best depth of quarterback in it. It certainly is the best I've ever seen. Yeah. What stood out the most from the interview? Just the fact that, you know, that he wants to play for the jets. And that impressed me from this standpoint. There are a lot of people when Brett Favre went to play for the jets 15 years ago. Believe me. He wasn't all excited about going to play for the New York Jets at all. Okay, now we got excited and he started playing well and until he heard his arm two thirds of the way through the season. He was playing great. But it impresses me that Aaron Rodgers wants to play with the New York Jets. I don't know if there's did it feel like there was any spite there with Rogers, the packers. It felt like the one thing that felt a little spiteful was Rogers clearly saying, look, Adam Schefter had this story. You know, whatever 6 weeks ago, whenever it was, you know, saying that I think there's a good chance Aaron Rodgers is going to be traded whatever his tweet said, whatever he reported. But he was right on the money. And there is no way I believe. No way that that came from Aaron Rodgers. As you can tell by who's my number, bro but and so how did I don't know what I'm not going to sit here and and on the record guests, but I think we can all figure out we all have our suspicions that that piece of information did not come from Aaron Rodgers. So who knows? But all I'm saying is Rogers clearly doesn't like the fact that the packers are out there spreading the fact that, hey, there's a good chance I'm going to be traded. It sounds like that they had not talked to him about that before that broke. Now, maybe they did. But it sound like Aaron Rodgers had some hard feelings. Oh, you think the packers put it out there? I don't know who put it out there. What I'm saying is, Rogers sounds very much like he didn't put it out there. And he has said time and again, time and again, that nobody in my camp is leaking to Adam Schefter Ian rappaport. So Dan, I'm just guessing right now. Just like anybody else would. Where do you think that came from? It doesn't sound to me anyway. Like it came from Rogers. Yeah, but then there's the wish list, who leaked that, and the deal is done. Who leaked that? I don't know. I'm guessing that came from the jets side of this thing. It could be it very well could be. And look, whatever happens, at the end of the day, you know, 8 years from now, Aaron Rodgers is going to be standing on the field at Lambeau getting a standing ovation from a crowd that is a little bit ticked off at him right now. But he'll be getting the standing ovation the exact same way. Did you ever think that Brett Favre would get a standing ovation in Lambeau when he came in wearing Vikings purple for two years? Did you ever think that had happened? There's a lot of people who said, he's dead to us. But then he walked back in stadium and he was a conquering hero. Same thing will happen with air. But Pete, is there any chance the packers

"Walking around on bare feet on metal plates all day long and those paper suits. It really did remove your identity. It was so weird what it did to you. My bed. And the floors were not really electrified then, right, Andy. And so the last we saw of your characters, you turn to andor and say, I can't swim as you were all diving to safety, spoiler alert. Does that mean maybe you survived the fall and the swim, Andy? I mean, is that possible for a season two? I always say, never say never, quite frankly. So, you know, and I really don't know what's going to happen, whether or not he'll return, but I like it when they leave it, leave it open like that. I do. And I'd love to. It was a possibility. Well, I would love that. I would truly love that. And I've enjoyed this chat as well. You're awesome in this film of Luther. Again, it's called Luther the falling sun available for streaming today on Netflix. You're just awesome and everything that you do. This has been absolute pleasure to chat with you. And I know it's I know I've kept you a long time, but we're also a sports show. Are you a sport fan? And we'll support arsenal and we're doing the lead. Okay. So arsenal's your team. Oh yeah. And my sons as well. They're massive, massive Arsenal fans. Wonderful. What a pleasure to meet you, Andy Serkis. Thanks again for your time. Congratulations on Luther being his awesome and you being awesome and I hope we get to do this in person next time. Thank you. Yeah, that would be great. Okay, look forward to it. Take care. It's Andy Serkis, follow him at Andy Serkis on Twitter and Instagram right here on the rich eisen show. Fun chat right there. Fun chat. I just, I mean, the guy's been in absolutely. Done it all. Everything. Let's take a break. When we come back, phone calls. We have also what's more likely before we get into the weekend and dolphins quarterback news. Oh. MG. That's coming up next right here on the rich eisen show. Don't go anywhere. Take you to the weekend. Hey, we outside. Sauce gardener. Making video and it's backyard last night with Garrett Wilson and breeze hall burning the cheese head that he strolled around in victory in Lambeau Field as a sacrifice to Aaron Rodgers. The grind and whatever. Baron hatchets. I don't know. Why are we why haven't we heard anything yet? You're entire. Why have we not heard anything? Of course. Why have we heard anything yet? I don't know. What's happening? It's Friday. It's going to happen over the weekend. Is it going to happen on Monday, Tuesday? What's going on? I would imagine it happens over the weekend. Why? Next 48 hours. So turn needs to make a decision to the packers. And figure out what they're going to do in free agency to the jets can get their ducks lying in a row. What if suddenly Odell's coming? What if suddenly? Oh, delta the checks. That might be coming. Oh my God. Oh my God. Stop. Face time in Adele. Be quiet with that nonsense. Do you think well? I just saw it. Be quiet. What did you see? Sauce FaceTime and Odell. Oh, really? I love it. Yes, sauce? Yes, sauce. Sauce is putting in work. I think barber? By the way, hold on a second. It doesn't matter. He's at the bar. You know what he's doing? You know where he doesn't matter where he is. He's on a FaceTime with sauce gardener. Let me express something to you. About sauce gardener. Sauce. I did not think when I fell completely head over heels for him. At his first sight. You really were fine. You really were last year. That was what I came back from Indianapolis in 2022. I said, I know who I want for the jets. And I said, I'll do a segment on it. You probably thought somebody else other than sauce gardener. I didn't know. I spoke it into existence and I then watched what he did in year one that that was my best expectation. Obviously, all pro? I did not see first team all pro coming. I thought maybe Pro Bowl if we're lucky what have you. What I didn't see coming would be in between year one and year two that sauce gardener would already have the ability to recruit on behalf of the New York Jets and be viewed by the people he's recruiting as a legit reach out. A legit reach out. On behalf of the jets, hey, come here. You come here. You are in Rogers, you come here. Beckham, you come here, which is brash. But do you think Aaron Rodgers would be like, this kid? Do you think Odell was like, who? This kid, really? Nah. He is already achieved the status of one name. I get it. He gets it. One day, he saw us. He saw. That's it. Everyone knows though. He saw, and he's legit. He's a legit reach out. As a recruiter for the jets. Oh, man. Thank you, sauce. You're the man. "Hour one with Mike florio. That's how you can check that out. Hour number three, the actor Andy Serkis from the new Luther film on Netflix. You also know him as a guy who played Gollum and Lord of the Rings. Ulysses klaw in Black Panther also in Planet of the Apes also, he's got a great Coldplay story to tell. He's the 8th grossing actor of all time, meaning all his movies together, it's made the 8th most modern of all time. He's been everything. You want to run down the town real quick? I mean, again, if you're in The Avengers and you're in Lord of the Rings and you're in Planet of the Apes. I mean, that kind of works. And I'm going to stop talking as if my guest isn't sitting here to my right. One of my favorites. I just learned I'm working with him next Monday. When I'm doing the two a day doing the show on Monday here and then going to the NFL network is part of the hosting of the free agency frenzy on NFL network starting at four Eastern Time. Maurice Jones drew good to see you. Good to see you. You know what? I have to say this. The last time I came, has been first of all, has been far too long. Okay. The last time I came, there was none of that. Roku, there was no YouTube TV. But growing like a weed over here, I said, you know, I'm just trying to cultivate this caper. It's nothing wrong with that. That's all I'm doing. That's why your devil did. That's why your double dipping on Monday. That's what I'm talking. I like it. And double dip. And so you and I are going to be sitting there as everything starts to break. And then we were talking about that off the air and Chris, you're saying stuff's already popping. What do you got over there? What do you got over there? What's going on? We got us for us to chew on. Give me something good. Like what? I don't have anything. What are you talking about? You were just talking to the commercial break about it. What was the window? Oh my God. I was listening on YouTube TV in the back. You were listening on the Roku challenge. Yeah, that's what I was listening to in the back. Yes. Odell Beckham's workout. Now, first let me say this. First and foremost, Odell, thank you very much, because without you, I wouldn't have got my first Super Bowl ring and I appreciate that. But that is going to be an interesting thing because I think whatever team gets him, he's going to open up your office so much more. He still has that ability to take slants at the house. Yes. Short passes. You saw that with the rams, all on a hurt me. That was on a bad knee. So now his knee's good. I think that's going to be one of the first should be one of the first kind of dominoes to fall, which will kind of you'll see where they're going. Okay, and again, so folks understand. I literally had to sit here and go, Jackson would win a Super Bowl. Raiders didn't win a Super Bowl. And I get it as a member of the rams broadcast team. You have a ring. Oh, a big one. Number and everything. Looks like a player. Really? Yeah, so 20 years from now, my grandkids, I'll be like, hey, listen, old pop pop. You know, he won one back in the day, 2021. You were a factor. Yeah. You're calling it. Put it out there, man. I had to put it in the universe. I like it. You know, it's part of it. All right. So Odell, I mean, Dallas would be a good spot. Give me anybody would be a good spot. I think, and I don't think this had happened, but imagine if you went to Kansas City. Just imagine that. Well, people are going to flock. I mean, I would, I'd go to Kansas City, want to play with my homes and offense that's wide open and you can kind of do and you have a quarterback that can do different things. That would be nice. Dallas, obviously, is the big one. I think it'll help them more just because I know McCarthy wants to run the ball a little bit more. But having that ability to just throw a quick hitch out there, CD lamb can do it, obviously Odell can do it. And those guys can take it to the house, makes you a little bit more dynamic. Okay. Your jets. Are we spending big with the jets? Are we going all in on Rogers? Are we going to kind of Rogers and some other pieces? Well, they need other pieces. Do you think last year if Aaron Rodgers was on the jets last year, they would have won the Super Bowl, they'd have beaten. The eagles, do you think so? I don't know if they'd have won the Super Bowl, but they were sure by the playoffs. And they didn't in the playoffs, anything can happen. We saw that with the Jags. You can't sit here and say anything can happen, but they wouldn't make the Super Bowl because that's it. That's why I'm saying they need more pieces. Yeah. I do love the Young Turks. Who are sauce and Garrett Wilson and breeze hall. And quinnen Williams and the rest of those young kids that they're growing up. And that's the whole question. It's now Friday 1 o'clock Eastern Time in New York City. 72 hours have passed since they've broken for they broke bread. There were Malibu. I'm a little upset that you know the place that they went to, lucky. Lucky. I've never been. I'm more of a you're unlucky. I wouldn't say I just like this hang out in my little area. I don't like to kind of go too far. Veteran doesn't strike me as a guy who leaves his area. So he's in a nice arrow with some nice restaurants. So do you think, what do you think? Do you think it's a fit? I think it's a great fit. To me, when you have a young quarterback like Zach Wilson and you have this team that's built and ready to go. You may need some peace in the O line, but really other than that, I feel like secondary you added a Clark from the ravens. You've kind of added some small pieces along the way. If you get that quarterback to fit into that final piece of fit in, anything can happen. Now, the thing is, in the AFC, you have to have a guy, right? If you look at all the quarterbacks, there's what you have, obviously burrow, mahomes, Allen, Trevor Lawrence, you have Herbert, Herbert Russ. Lamar Jackson. You have deshaun Watson with the browns who kind of came on at the end of the year. You have rust, like all of a sudden, you have to have a quarterback in the AFC to contend. And Rogers has been in the NFC where you're playing more team fits, like the niners, or even with the eagles before Jalen hurts, they had a really good team and Jalen hurts was that final piece. So it's going to be challenging, especially in the AFC east with what Miami's doing down there, the bills what they're doing and then Bill Belichick finally went out and got in my OC now to go help his young quarterback out. So it's going to be a challenging season. But if the jets want to contend, Rogers is the answer. Well, I especially since again, if you want to keep talking about how deep end the AFC quarterback pool is, you take a look at the draft. You have to think if you do like the kids that we saw spin it at the combine or Bryce young who didn't spend it they come on. If you do like them, you're thinking Texans, cults, raiders, three more teams are going to get young kids who might turn into one of them as well. I mean, the pool gets deeper and deeper and deeper, but I have to, before moving on, ask, why did you make that face when I mentioned Russell Wilson? I think, come on. In all honesty, I've watched Russell Wilson and I last year I said, I thought Garrett Carr was better than Russell Wilson. People jumped all over me. And when you watch his tape, and when you study him, what I had to do with calling the games with the rams, he misses a lot of his first reads, Russ, Russ does.

"Underdog parlay candidate because I like what they have the tiny kid. I like how they play against the packers last week. And I think that's what we consider. So the last one we'll discuss, and then we'll do a $1 million picks. Pat's jets, minus two and a half. Minus one 34 money line. The jets offense, 32.7% on third down. 29th on first downs overall. 1620 plus plays, they lose breeze hall. And verra Tucker, who's having all pro season alignment. And Dwayne brown's turn. There are 5 wins this year, Brissette, the two of backups that trubisky Pickett combo, sad downtrodden Aaron Rodgers sat down. And Brett rippin. That was the best call Charles Davis says, we knew about let's ride, but now we've got let it rip. It's like, do we really have that? I like it. This pat's team, if it's a super athletic quarterback, I'm now nervous for the future. Like Lamar torch them. Justin Fields torch them. We don't have the linebacker team speed. In general, there's one type of team that I think is going to really give the pat's trouble. If you're just giving me a normal team that's going to be a ball control, try to try to keep the ball back. That's actually a good matchup. I want to appeal to you to all the money we lost in the Pats last week. Some of the jets this week. Maybe not as much, but there's also no, there's a psychological edge to build.

"Oh, no. Yes, I love it. All right, Jake, what else we got? That's all you don't want to pick. I mean, you guys can both make these games if you want. Well, I thought you were going to bring something else my way. But I will say this. I do think Miami is going to need to bounce back. I think they're going to want to try and look, um, as impressive as possible there, she said eight was the number Don't love it, But I'd probably later pass on that with Miami coming off a loss. I think it's a big old rebound bounce back effect You want against an opponent. They should probably beat by double digits. All right, Speaking of bad predictions, I had one this week with my Indiana Hoosiers, my alma mater. They took an embarrassing loss in Iowa to Iowa. And next week we have the interstate rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State. Iowa State is currently 3.5 point. Favorites in the over under is 44 a half Tyler, What do you like there? Yeah, This one's tough, Um, I I had a bet on the Indiana um, game that they played and week one against Iowa. And I bet the under so thankfully, Indiana's offense was so inept that it kept the game under. Even though I was hung, I think 34 on them. Would probably lean under as well and this one I was state even though they have Brock Purdy and Breeze Hall. They have a pretty good defense as well. Anchored by Mike Rose in the Middle Iowa Games trend towards the under more so when they are at Kinnick Stadium, this game will be in Ames, Iowa, instead of Iowa City. But I think this is going to have a big 10 type feel to it. Not a big 12 field, even though it's in a big 12 stadium going to be a low scoring. Kind of slug Fest A 21 16 type game. Certainly not like what we saw at Tallahassee with Notre Dame in Florida State. So while I don't love it, because he likes to bet unders, I will ride that.

Cincinnati's number eight. If the Longhorns in Cincinnati are playing the Longhorns are are a touchdown favorite. That's right. I guess I didn't watch enough Cincinnati football. Greed. I agree entirely. Yeah, yeah. North Carolina, the Tar Heels or number 10. Mac, I need you to win feet. One family's You win 10 games next year, All right. I got a wager here. I by believing that wager on your side of that This is probably the biggest problem for me. L s u is 13. Fellas. You finished the season unranked. Okay, five. They're five and five and unranked that coaching staff, which you know, the year previous they won the championship there coaching staff and all the players they were ravaged by the NFL. I think there's gonna be a whole lot of changes made this off season as well. But putting Alice you at 13 didn't I don't know about that Coastal Carolina on their coastal Carolina is in here. They're 21. The Shanta clears our liberty on their liberty is not in the top. 25. I saw that. David. What's the highest Pac 12? I'm just curious. I did it. But USC USC is 12. Yeah, yeah, on and number 25, the raging Cajun Cajuns of Louisiana who are on deck for the Longhorns. Right? That's right there. First game of the year Raging Cajun. Wait a second and then Arkansas and the rice A Roni Be a hell of our first game under Coach Sark. Two ranked teams will be playing. That's correct. And that doesn't happen. September the third, uh, that would tell uses. It happened to you, like do that big because that ocean saw I'm sure this was this was booked, you know, But yeah, This is this on the calendar, you know, in 2014. And we think he was booked this go rage in pages. You gotta give me all right. Louisiana Lafayette was the you know, Every year, it seems like it's always often times of Louisiana Lafayette. I Monroe, something like that. Just just a Louisiana hyphen. We didn't get our state University Louisiana game this year. But yeah, that's usually the gimme that you have before your big nonconference game. They they won 10 games last year's fellas They wonder Bowl game against U. T s say the only game they lost Your long was he gets coastal Carolina 30 to 27. 0 man. I'm just telling you, this sets up for the a great first page of the chapter. I was just going to save, you know, And I'm going to say it without doing any sort of researcher quicker. Googling College GameDay comes to Austin, Texas first week of the football season next year. I don't think so. I don't think it's gonna be that the first week they have the giant match is gonna be somebody playing at Jerry World or something like that. Yeah. By the way, remember, think about this, fellas that bothers me about the raging Cajun. Their first game last year was at I was state, and they defeated Iowa State by 17. So think about that, so this is a well coached team is coming off a great year. So I'm telling you that Wow, that's setting up for an epic for it. What, after? I mean, look How long is coach Steve in the coach two weeks now hasn't even been two weeks. And it's like he's been here for exactly like he always already talked me up to the Longhorns go into how many coaches and they lose the first game of this Sarkeesian. That's gonna be heartbreaking. But how many times has a coach In their first game. Gone out and beaten a ranked team. I mean, it's probably a lot, but you're in there. Yeah, well, I mean, I I don't know They've been playing for them ranking teams for a long time. But you're right. It's probably at Texas never happened because that first game is almost always, you know, giving again on and that will not be the case so And it just be September. Now why do I have to wait all through the times and the things and stuff? Yeah, Coach Steve addressed the media today Zoom press conference, said Was there coaching introducing his new staff is very pleased. Really want the staff? I love the experience. I love the youth. I love the energy. I love the recruit ability factor that they bring. I love the ties to the great State of Texas on most importantly as well. I love the development piece that they bring. For our current roster and the current players that we have now. Sounds good. Sounds real good at you. You know when we were when they first announced the occasion, you were not impressed. You were salty some way say I was leery about it because of his of his of his record in college. College is a head coach, and I was leery about what happened to USC. And the more I learn about it, The more I like the guy and the more I learned that Nick's saving just said the offense is yours. And Nick's haven would huddle with the defense of coaches more impressed that I'm more impressed every time I hear the guy talk, so I'm on. I'm on board all the way with this guy. I hope he can. It all translates to the football field of what he's saying. Right now. We're in a honeymoon period is we've talked about, but I like the guy and I think redemption is a good deal. You know, he's coming back from a tough time at USC for what happened there, so It's a great good. There's a great story, so hopefully we can translate the winds and he could be here a long time because I'm tired. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of this rotation of coaches. I'm sick of it. I really am. Come. Just just pains me because we screwed up years ago when they fired Mac, and we haven't got it right since so hopefully we got it right now where we beat Oh, I'm sure you are. Because you're good. You're good Longhorn soldier. You were jacked for Tom Herman, right? You weren't this level of Jack. But you had to have been Jack. All right. I'm listened. When you say, Jack. I mean, I was excited that they were scoring this guy that it was coveted. Yeah. Who had had success ties to Texas? Right? You know, you know, he wrote in the motorcade. Um, but no, And I'm telling you, I would not not down the line like the quality and the essence of the people who is hiring around him. No way. What Jack, this level was no well, and because the Tom Herman for the most part, I mean, he just brought his guys who were his coach is accused in e. That's how Todd Orlando wound up as the coach was Tim back with him there and and Roxton as well. And so be honest with you, man that the gift of Tom Herman like Sledge hammering the Yeah, a lot of locker room when they were trying to demolish it and him failing at that. I mean, hit it. One time would come off almost got. Do you ever sledgehammer to Lockerbie? Does you know what I think you probably have. No Vito goes on vacation and rakes leaves. That's the way because on vacation, but I mean, if that wasn't foreshadowing, I don't know what awas Yeah, it was, I think, except we're I was excited about Herman because I think we were tired of Charlie..

A seven point lead, Alan tight and motions to the right, Reese all in the backfield. It is a play to haul up all over the goal line. Touchdown, Iowa State. Waiting for the official signal. He cross the goal line, and now the officials are separating the teams. Okay, And that's just frustration out of the Oregon Ducks right there. Great execution yet again by the offensive line, and it allows Breece Hall to be lined up with a head of steam one on one against the boundary safety Nick Pickett and Nick Pick. It does his best to stand in there and meet Breeze Hall at the line of scrimmage. But you take anybody, let alone an all American and briefs Holla £215. It's almost in stop unstoppable to stop someone with a head of steam running towards the goal line, one yard touchdown run officially for Bree's whole. The extra point is up in good a minute 27 to go in the half. Iowa state now taking advantage. That pooch kick that.

"Isaac Slade. Mata Bhutia might have hit him late there, Ben as he went into a slide pretty grabbed his helmet as he was coming up. It looks like we're gonna have a targeting penalty. On slave Mata Mata Attea way, see, targeting all across college football, but many times to me. At least you probably watch more than I do seems to come on that slide on a late slide guys changing planes. Order backs and defenders who are chasing playing defense is such a challenging thing to do regardless that but you add in reality that any time a player lowers his head to protect himself. Referee is telling us looks like he's calling for the targeting penalty. They're gonna live there. This personal foul targeting is the call, and now it'll go up to the booth to review a 308 to go. Yes. Isaac Slade. Mata you, Tia, But as a defender that is coming to secure the tackle. You have to recognize that Okay. At any moment, a quarterback may go into a slide, which is what happened right there, And as he's going down to the ground, it has to change your angle of attack for giving the administering the tackle. Same way with an open field runner that maybe will lower his head and shoulders to protect himself. Oftentimes the defender is called for a targeting that, really there was nothing he could do to stop with and it looks like as I've we've seen in a couple times on replay. This is gonna be one that is not going to be in the favor. Of the Oregon Ducks because he's come at the quarterback has established his his slide and Motta comes in and lowers his head and delivers a blow right to the side of rock parties helmet and as I've seen it, five or six times it looks like it ends up. Bottle ot, a shoulder who it's the head, but it's you pointed out. Once he goes into that feet first slide, he becomes a defenseless player. This is a pretty quick review to here comes our official David Smith. She will be able to hear him Go. Target is confirmed. You could hear that, along with us. And so Isaac Slade motto. Duty A has been rejected. For the rest of the game. The junior from Honolulu is out, and they'll have to go into some of their depth. There was a question of M. J. Cunningham, his sophomore backup would be available to play way were able to see some of the warm ups. He had his pads on. We'll keep our Eyes peeled to see with the Oregon defense looks like as they lose slave Monta do Tia to a targeting call and slave motto. Tia is one of the guys that Mario Crystal Ball pointed out, was one of the few veteran presence on that defensive side of the ball after the two game losing streak. Theo, Cal and Oregon State coach Crystal Ball pointed out Slave motto. Tia and Verone McKinley has a soft more. Those were the two guys that really rallied the troops specifically on that defensive side of the ball and slave motto. Tia was a huge Help development, a mentor for Noah Sul, the talents of true freshman at the middle linebacker position, So I think the loss of slide slave motto. Tia is going to be bigger than just the tackles he makes on the field, but also from a leadership perspective out there as well as on the Buckets Watch list this year televisions in a time out here with three await to go in the first half. Iowa State and Oregon. Tied at 14 a reminder ESPN radio is your home for the college football playoff. January 11th the playoff championship game. Presented by 18 T. There's a past left sideline who's caught by Joe Skates rather Hutchinson that Xavier Hutchinson Alan that far left sideline and out of bounds at about the 16 yard line. I guess maybe the first deep shot that we've seen. I was they take today. First time we've seen a three man route combination as well. And it's savior hutches and on the far side of the field back shoulder, throw for a big game 29 yards and say, Grease hole run to the left side out to the edge 10 yard line and forced out of bounds. DJ James, that time l market just inside the 10 yard line. Now you've got to start thinking about using the clock. You don't want to give Whole lot of time to this Oregon offense. They've proven in this game, but they can score quickly. Way saw two weeks ago member Iowa State scored a little too soon and Oklahoma ran up the field and got Bullets right into the locker room. Yep. Second and three from the nine yard line. Left side of the line is strongest will give the breeze Hall. He's going up that left hash and gets the first down first and goal on the five yard line before Lenore takes him down on the clock will stop. Is the chains moving Now? They reset with 205 to go and counting a four yard pick up I was state going quickly here, 30. Seconds on the play clock lived to Breeze Hall, pushing toward the goal line and pushing the pile over the goal. I know they're going to say he's down at the 1 ft line. Pile pushed over. But the line's been from the fireside with a hand held up came running in just shy of the goal line the previous run. It was excellent push by the offensive line and tight ends to give Greece Hall the opportunity to get down close to the goal line. But that play it was Greece Hall on a singular effort. Driving those legs. He's an elusive runner. He's a fast runner, but he has a tremendous amount of lower body strength. He pushes all the way down. I thought he got in for the touchdown. But they're saying his forward. Progress was stopped. And now we're here at another. Old line situation. Organ was able to step, put their foot in the ground and stop them. Last time. We'll see if I was taken. Find a way to punch this on him Borrow Crystal Ball called for a time out because he wants to save some time And in fact, he ran out onto the field to speak for the rest. I don't know if he's asking them to put some time back on the clock. Is 1 45 to go. As brief hall that looked like the left knee was just down Andrew fully you with the stop just shy of the goal line and a 14 all time. It's like they've had a three seconds 1 48 on the clock down. It's brief hall, driving his legs against three Oregon defenders, one on each side and another.
