And what went down Last month and in april you know we'll just have to wait and see and and get more information about it but as far as you know if you asked me do i see. Wwe we selling the company. Yeah yeah i definitely do see. Wwe the mcmahon family. That is i do eventually see them. Selling the company of you to ask me who they are Or when is it going to go down. I i really would not be surprised if wwe were to be sold at this point. After vince mcmahon passes i just. That's just the vibe. I'm honestly getting i. I just. I don't know why. But i just kind of get this weird vibe that when. Wwe is sold. Vince mcmahon is actually not going to be in the picture it feels like after his passing is when the trigger is gonna be pulled. So you know if you were to say to me. "Amongst a knockout since we got those knockouts tag titles. That's active right now if you wanted to. You could even pair up ruby. Riott and Santana garrett together. That's one possibility that you could do. Or or ultimately you have ruby riott team up with havoc. That's new tag team right there. And you could have taylor wilde eventually form a tag team partnership with santana garrett and pretty much go from there so there's a whole lot of interesting combinations you can do and then of course the nwa. What's going on with their women's division. They definitely use all the help that they can get and everything. So i also see that as well. But from the type of life that i was able to understand about santana garrett and what she has shared publicly out in the open over the years and everything. She's pretty much outta point in her life right now where she really doesn't need wrestling especially given who she's married to in everything who's quite successful in his own right if she wanted to retire tomorrow and be done with wrestling altogether. That's her right in everything. But as long as she's been added now and pro. I don't see her going anywhere just yet especially now that everything starting to get ready to open back up again. You feel where. I'm coming from so we definitely haven't seen the lazovic asking me for my two cents from a distance. I personally would love to see her. "Premiered on access. Tv going back to two thousand. Nineteen by the way. I can't wait for those guys to come back. She was in a i. The feud was awesome. I definitely would highly encourage you guys to go. Check it out. Especially if you're a big test. Blanchard fan her feud with tessa. Blanchard was fucking bad ass. And you know. I'm thinking of outed now and eventually santana. Garrett wrestled blanchard and jungle girl In a triple threat and some how the match ended up being a no contest or something like that santana. Garrett was stripped of the championship. Now i know what i said earlier. As far as you know ultimately she lost to tessa blanchard and she technically kinda did. She really didn't because you can make the argument for santana garrett that she is still the she is still the reigning while women of wrestling champion. She never was properly defeated and all that basically the way they kind of explained her absence from the rest of that season. And and all of that. Well you know they actually kinda never really did quite honestly so. I saw flashes in santana geared from the independence. Lot of the stuff that i just damon personally felt that will if there is any one woman that will definitely do something in. Wwe can definitely make some heads turn and everything. Santana garrod is truly that individual they just gotta do a better job in helping her flush out a personality that can really connect well with the audience and just feels as though that never really happened now. For as long as veteran s she's been and pro wrestling and everything thirty three years of age and she just turned thirty three In may you know that's still relatively young you kind of make that argument that This is somebody that's kind of essentially already set in their ways and everything. But i've never heard anything negative about santana garrett heard nothing but positive things About her and everything. And i remember there was actually a quite a few times years prior to her joining wwe. I used to try to see if she would be up for interview and everything and she was very sweet about is sometimes she was say. Yeah i can't really do it right now. My schedule is just so booked as it is not even because of interviews. It's just got this booking date here. The late i would say by the time alledged black got under my radar. You know it was probably like maybe a year or two right before he came into. Wwe but what. I saw the guy. I just thought he was fucking bad. Ass bodies fucking bad ass for me. Personally when i look at alisher black i looked at alastair black as your nexium punk. I don't know if anybody else saw that. But i looked at this guy's on orthodox style you know for his height and just the hybrid type of combat wrestling that he had at his disposal. Great arsenault specially with the leg kicks in and all of that shit. I just honestly felt that this was a guy. Great fucking look holy shit. The guy can talk. I felt that if there was ever a guy that could maybe help take. Wwe back to those heights of man. I'm so excited to be a wrestling fan again. Man man we got some cool as shit. That's going down right now if there was ever a time to be excited as a wwe fan because man we got these guys over here and leading a flag for the company. Is this guy. I personally to each its own. You can call me crazy and all of that but real wrestling historians notre shit conde- flee. See what i'm talking about. When it comes to alastair black. That's how i felt. "So. Why putting it all together trying to go out there and make a entertaining match. You know look for nothing but you would have thought that after lana will laugh. Wwe ow sorry. Rousseff frigging there. You would've thought that after rousseff left. Wwe that if anybody was going to begin eating big old plates of shit storyline wise. It would be law unsure. We saw those weeks after weeks where she was getting. Put through the announcers table by shayna. Baszler nine jags thinking to yourself okay. There's there's going to be some type of payoff here for lana without a doubt or some type of payoff here she gonna get the ultimate revenge. She's going to become the women's champion. Here wh- what is likely. Yeah and it's weird because you would think that's where the story line was eventually going to go buy. It did not go in that direction and that was just kind of one of those head scratching moments right there where you're going. What this makes no sense what was going on. And there's been so many instances where you've looked at her story arc and it had just continued to revolve round. You know later on there and had continued to revolve around lonzo and shane obeys ler. You just kinda fell okay. We'll all right. Are we see how it is probably gonna end. It didn't play out the way that we thought it was gonna play out. You couldn't help you say to yourself. So what exactly is the whole point in in this. Lana story arc. Where exactly are we going with this. Look not everybody not everybody is going to be a wwe champion just go down the list tag cruiser etc etc cetera. Not everybody is going to be a champ blah and there's nothing wrong with being a good made carter. There's nothing wrong with being a utility player in enhancement talent. There's nothing wrong with that right And that's it then. That's really what lana was. And i don't really think lana had a problem with that. It was just all about giving being given the opportunity to go out there and perform and everything you know. She really cared about her fans. She really cared about entertaining. The fans and everything. An look man. If you've never watched her little twenty. Four special i definitely would encourage you guys to go out of your way and and watch it because by the time you get done watching it never in all my years. Since i've been podcasting have i ever felt some type of regret. Have i ever fell man. You know why. I gotta do better. They're never never never never never to the point that publicly. I go okay you know what i definitely was wrong but when i got done watching the lana joint just just knowing some of the you know the personal problems as she was dealing with some of the the hey full messages you know that would see online things that you seeing from you know. Wwe fans in a in a rethink. You talk about having a deep state of depression in Mood swings and audit and as a result of what was what was going on I did not know that she had struggled greatly with depression there. And if there's anybody that knows a thing or two about struggling with depression it's definitely your man over here now i've seen better years better days I don't get as depress As i did in previous years..

"Cj perry lana thirty six zero. Catherine joe perry now look now not gonna even try to put on the front for you guys. Okay i'm not gonna even lie and last thing. Last thing i'm gonna do is try to be to face. Try to talk one way but then wait a minute. I said all these other months prior in years prior. Okay so lemme be consistent here. I am slightly disappointed that lana was released. I'm slightly disappointed. But there's a part of me that is also okay. You know what this is all right and let me explain the reason. Why now granite. When we were first introduced. Lana pretty much rousseff. And x t loved it loved. Everybody was behind a. You couldn't fi one fan. That was against this. They saw a la lot of frigging potential in this pairing and for me. I remember in those early early years. They're watching their career down in annex t. I remember come on his show and say man. This feels like or seeing something from the old territory days. This feels kind of like mac. Imagine russa van. Lana running around the bruno. San martinos time as wwe champion or a pedro. Morale is or a yell. And that's the type of throwback vibe that he was giving me big time. And i just looked at that. Nfl man in wwe guy paid or right here. They got themselves a nice raking gold. Mine and i of out of all the call upson exchange. That was probably the one where i looked at insa- jesus there's no way you can screw this up. Wwe you got yourself something really special here and yet somehow they did and i think when you really just kinda go back to the focal point of you know what was now one point where things just kinda you know. Essentially blew up there. I think it's two parter for me. Personally everybody's opinion will differ on this. Who my personal opinion is when lana stargate breaking character. And she was posting videos on her social media accounts in her native american Native her in her native is native american in her native. No american Yeah you're like wait. You're not russian. But you had a russian accent like what the is like. Nah asked us is just the fright. Like i think that is what really started making heads turn and then the times when she would go on social media and you know break into these key things that were happening with her and rusev of slash mirrow behind the scenes and everything not really living up to the cave. "I mean we're talking about the early early years there of annex t and when they were briefly paired up with alexa bliss remembered. Shout out to you guys. If you remember that era of alexa bliss running around where i she started off wearing some type of Some type of cheerleader outfit. And then it somehow transitioned into this little fairy costume. I know you guys remember. And then somehow that kind of transitioned into something. That was more complimentary for murphy and blake or blake and murphy. Let's flip that around. Blake in murphy. Remember she had the be studs the studs that was on her stomach comment kind of going a little bit low remembered that she's to have does shawn offer two longest time. Remember that if you remember it at so two thousand thirteen were we're talking about blake murphy and his involvement in the wwe. But as back as when you were looking at blake and murphy just kind of felt that out of the to you know what there might be something there with murphy Phenomenal tag team matches that they had At inex- ti. I definitely remember an see takeover on stoppable and There is the nfc tag team championship match In zoll maury Because i remember guys and then the cruiserweight division. I know you guys definitely remembered Blake murphy had loss About twenty five to thirty five pounds and he pretty much was in the two. Oh five live brand. And look i appreciate. Wwe dawn what they could in that particular era and everything but me. Personally i just felt that buddy murphy had no business being so tied down like that to to all five it. Because it's like okay. So what if you have aspirations of going further than the two. Oh five live divisions so why i for me. Won't you just put a number like that out there. You are severely limiting your talent especially those that you know what these guys got. Your is capable. We could be seeing these guys on a much. grander scale. Maybe we're kinda going about wrong way. So i've never really been a fan of of putting numbers out there for division and and all that other good stuff by You know for what it was worth you know. He he did pretty good. I remember the initial cruise away tournament. That was going on Areo of ari Staf y lee. I mean he was off to a pretty good white hot start and everything and then you know somehow e eventually the whole tool. Oh five live experiment you know it is it went. Its course and you know. Eventually he entered into that storyline. With seth rollins being his disciple in all that and and that was very intriguing. I felt that personally. There was a missed golden opportunity right there for murphy and rollins i i i really did. I think under different circumstances. I think we hasn enjoyed fans wouldn't have had a problem with the story. Arquette the continuation been heavy emphasis on. Dominik misteri oh and you know because you just felt that okay if there was ever the guy to properly put over blake murphy. A really helped try to take to that next level maybe tried to solidify him as a bona fide mid card guy. You know maybe even tier hired in that. Definitely a guy like seth rollins to my point you see what rollins has been able to do with zoro thus far and yeah look we can make the argument that yeah you know as far as his all being world heavyweight champion. "It ain't long winded at ain't lengthy level of a long list is just a calabro of the talent that they released today. Just has the whole wrestling community as a whole just kind of scratching our heads going. What exactly is going on here. So let's go in with light and we'll work our way up to the heavyweights here. So first off buddy murphy buddy murphy released by wwe. I don't really think anybody. Is that surprised by his release. Because when you really take a step back in think outed the last major story art. That buddy murphy was involved in. Was that whole seth rollins. The mysterious does and look. I'm not gonna even try to put on a front on here. I remember being on this show for many weeks. Just kinda go on. What is going on muddy murphy. Mysterious godot angle here. Because remember dominic was off to a really good start as far as being properly introduced to the wwe universe and everything and then remember what i said it just for me. Personally i felt like we pivoted and a soap opera jerry springer romeo and juliet type of ordeal that really felt as flat as a soda from the start no disrespect no shay being thrown to the cast of talents involved in trying to push this out push this narrative of a storyline out there. They did their very best to make it work and everything but whoever was pulling the strings behind the scenes when this story arc it was just a significant pivot from what was already fairly decent but many of us groaned over at key story arc and then just out of nowhere it just quietly disappeared and that was pretty much really the last we ever saw of buddy murphy on a consistent basis. I still remember how after x. amount of several weeks had went. By all of a sudden we saw buddy. Murphy at ringside. Remember that episode of smackdown. That i'm talking about right now. Where buddy. seth rollins. Seth rollins was in the middle of the ring remember and he had some type of a smackdown townhall meeting. And when you paid attention particularly to the people that were around ringside. You're going wait a minute. Some of these people have no business being out there. Why should they even give dale in. Storyline was seth. Rollins has to say and buddy murphy was one of those people and you just go in. What the hell is really doesn't what what is. Wwe thinking right here. So buddy murphy. I don't think any of us should really be surprised. of his wwe release. I do personally think though. He is a talented fricken performer. In the ring no doubt about that no doubt about that. I remember really really pulmonary on him. And just you know what. This guy has a lot of potential a lot of potential ever remember this guy. He goes back way. Wwe two thousand thirteen so really really think about that for a second. We're talking two thousand thirteen so he was almost creeping up there on ten years in the company. W our show on monday night and your man ain't even supposed to be back until the week of june fifteenth. Because i'm going into this weekend as we speak for joe sekine twenty twenty one. I'm going into this week in one returning to some of my classes to getting married three going on my honeymoon. Four putting a vacation in there at the same time and we had this nice. Good sentimental you know kind of it was eldeniz episode. Who's a nice monday night. Also all that. I'm chilling. I'm going over. Fund wedding preparations packing some stuff i'm checking out the syllabus in the blackboard for the classes that i'm going to be taken and everything one on starts but early tomorrow and i'm just enjoying myself and then it just comes out of nowhere. You mayor finds out about all these. Wwe releases today. and i'm going normally. i wouldn't even waste the energy. Our just you know what it can wait until a comeback from my break. It's happened before over the years. I've been at this now. Been at this game now since two thousand eleven. So you know.
