"So really the only days this week that are good moon closing aspects, the other ones are all like ending things relating things finishing things. I want to do that anymore. It can't make me that is the Leo moon on Thursday on Friday. The other ones are good for letting things go and releasing things. And of course, Mars goes into scorpion that there is on the 30th and there's all that other turbulence. So we recognize that the back half of the week. Even though the moon is in Leo can be a little dramatic. There's a lot of drama there. That we're working with. I'm not quite sure what the heck is going on with my coughing here. I'm not dying. I'm just coughing a lot, but boy. Definitely whacked my vocal cords. So at any rate, hopefully that gives us some ideas about how to work with the weak. It should be fun for the beginning part. It should be not so fun at the ending part. And then we are in Scorpio time. We are on the cross quarter dates. We're entering that period of time where we can connect with our relatives and work with them. We also are in a somber time because Scorpio always reminds us of endings and things leaving things shifting. And of course, in a week, we enter eclipse season because we're going to be going to the new moon that launches eclipse season. That will happen at the beginning of November. Also, there was a thing with the full moon that we had that was very much activating the November of two 92 time period. And December and then the spring of 83. Those were all really, really positive. Times that were activated. So we're back at that time, kind of thinking about it. And of course, with the shooting with Baldwin, they said, you know, the last time that happened was 1993, and that was Brandon Lee getting shot on set. And I'm like, oh, 1993. -2021. That's a Saturn return. So we definitely are seeing the structures change. We're seeing our lives change. We're seeing the structures around us shifting, very important to go very important to good self care to do things that are really supportive of you. That help you that help you as we go through this week ahead and to really kind of honor what's important to you and how to work with it. So hopefully that gives you some ideas about how to work with the energy. I'm going to hang up a go call for ten minutes. And remember, the end of the week, a DB day, and then Wednesday, a DB day. And so forward into the night into the world have a good week. And have a great time and big hugs to everybody. Take care of yourself out there. It's going to be a little wild. Not as bad as last week..

Alec Baldwin Fatally Shoots Woman With Prop Gun on Movie Set

"Alec Baldwin kills a member of his crew with a prop gun. My friend Mark Davis reminds me that a prop gun, that ain't fire in anything. A prop gun is just that. It's a prop. It's a fake gun. It isn't capable of fire in anything. So they're using that term prop gun, probably inaccurately, but then again, all of this thing is weird. Every aspect of this is beyond bizarre. They are so careful on movie sets. There have been fatal accidents. Rural and Vic Morrow was decapitated? Making one of those I think Twilight Zone movies? Was it Brandon Lee Bruce Lee's kid who got killed on a movie set? So they're very, very careful. And yet somehow Alec Baldwin shot and killed the cinematographer on a movie that he was starring in and producing. Now, the investigation, of course, is underway. No charges have been filed, you know, you got to believe it's a horrible accident that will now follow Alec Baldwin for the rest of his life. He has to live with the death of this beautiful young woman who was his sin of photographer. I mean, again, none of this make it any sense. How does the shin of a photographer and his director get shot? And already, the family of Brandon Lee is tweeting out condolences saying no one should ever get killed on a movie set by a gun.

So tracy will be arranger on going there and getting after more of our you know our our psychic medium hookah flesh it out and stuff you know in Michael the archangel he comes in and he does this. You know you gotta know the strengthened witness. Do and i know you know we we all especially since we do it for so many years and so often the also become counselors almost like family counselors to the client. Yeah yeah we do. Yeah the and especially if it was i. We went to this house when we first started. Cova shut down and really all the activity. That of the wife was feeling they were creating themselves. Just family being shot. Yeah dad was out of town like a truck driver. Something the boys were. They were brothers because they have the same mom but nothing bad so and they had to be left alone and there was no school. 'cause mom had to work so they fight all day and she come home and she's tired and they were fighting they create. Its so much. I swear the that we're there. We're trying to calm them down. But what it did was frightening. It was a family spirit. We could feel the close business. Spirits weren't causing the chaos. They created their own little of chaos. And all that anger with each other and tired and it just you know how can just build. It becomes something different than paranormal. And so that's that's what i did was sit and talk to her. You can always message me. Talk to me. He'll make the boys go out and play some instead of gains in the house. All the time you know on some witness because she lives not far from a park where they could go. You know my my children but you know what that's number and you say you'll him come and text me and stuff and it'd be.

"Today's kind of an interesting episode because we really did know almost all the details. . Ahead of last week's announcement. . So some of the details that we're going to give you you've heard before there is some new stuff in here but. . And there was little to no, , there were no surprises, , right I mean. . I guess there were a couple of like software surprises when you're talking about the Pixel Five, right? , ? Like there was no, , we got I can't believe. . I can't fool the I can't believe they did this. . Yeah totally. . The one thing that. . What did you guys think it'd be event itself. . Random. . Oh Yeah I would say that. . The launch in event seemed very chill for them. . They seem really confident <hes> in in a different way. . So they weren't hyping things up or blowing things out of proportion. . There was just kinda like, , Hey, , yeah. . We're releasing a few devices and you hope you like them and that probably fit what they are actually launching. . So I thought they didn't. . Then, , also probably fits the tone of the world. . Yeah. . Right because nobody nobody's really shooting fireworks and making a big deal about things. . The more modest humble like here's what we got approach I. . think that's a good. . Time for more than half an hour of a soiree like listening in to tech event plus like. . Virtual schooling the kids that's nobody offer. . So right? ? Yeah. . It was only half an hour and I have to say I was pretty happy about. . Like all right cool they got in, , they made the announcement and like like we said, , you know a couple of times. Now, . , we already kind of knew everything google new. . We already knew everything they really were light on details in the event I thought was really interesting like, , yes, , it was short. . They announced four main devices which we're to talk about but even within the. . Devices, , they really did not go into the weeds. . They're not talking about the processor that's inside the Pixel five they're talking more about like Pixel phones from a lifestyle perspective and kind of <hes> being happy with the photo performance, , and the kind of little delights that you get with some of the software enhances stuff <hes>. . So they've but it was very light on those specific. . Details. . Pixel five of course was I would say the the more notable of the four devices only because it's the next Pixel. . And everything that we already knew six ninety nine is the cost for that. . Unit. . There's not an xl size <hes> snapdragon seventy, , sixty, , five G. with five G. supporting subjects and millimeter wave a five G.. . Aches Ram hundred twenty gigs of storage a six inch HD, , plus Ola display with ninety hertz. . Refresh rate <hes> to rear facing cameras the standard twelve point two megapixel. . Camera which they've had in the last three or four pixels I. . Mean it's it's basically the main sensor pixel phones <hes> as well as the the a series. . Plus a sixteen megapixel ultra wide. . So going from the telephoto last year to the ultra-wide this year <hes> forty, eighty, , , million, , hour battery fifteen watt wireless charging also reverse wireless, , charging rear, , free a fingerprint sensor and an under display speaker which. . I would say I'm a little concerned with because I, , just I don't know sometimes the under displays speakers kind of approach as opposed to having like a little grill like I I don't know I wanna hear it to know but I think I saw like a video someone online had the pixel five already was kind of testing all these things indefinitely kind. . Of. <hes> . was saying that the speaker itself sounded Canada tinny. . So I don't know if any of you saw any of those videos but <hes> no solely, , which means no motion sense no face unlock here it's all fingerprint sensor going forward <hes>. . So starting with the hardware, , are we like obviously it's what we expected because we knew all about it but <hes>. . Is Google offering enough with this next pixel flagship say to entice people brandon. . What do you think? ? I, , actually think that they priced it at least fifty dollars too much or if not one hundred dollars too much and I, , think some of you might know about the whole mater millimeter wave thing with Reisen that might have a part in that <hes> but <hes> them kind of cutting out every single thing that is not absolutely necessary. . <hes> is them obviously trying to get a lower? ? Price Point <hes> because it's working on their a-series devices. . So they're trying to bring that at least on the higher end. . Still I. . Miss Things like the squeeze too for the assistant I miss face unlock, , and if you remove solely, , you lose the face unlock at least in terms of how Google's doing things. . So there are some little magical things about a pixel device that I'm missing. . Yeah I've come to actually really like the face unlock because it works so well on the floor Excel <hes> but I also like a rear facing fingerprint sensor which is. . What a lot of other phones still have some of them have in display it is kind of also nice to have that direct kind of control over when I want to unlock my phone as opposed to the <hes> just happened to look at my phone and unlocked, , and maybe I didn't want that. . Maybe I wanted to look at the lock string content that sort of stuff. . So. . Let's see. . Twenty two. . What's that? ? Oh Twenty, , all masks and everything. . Good Point. . That's a solid point the face, , a lock on the Pixel. . Four has been a little inconvenient. . What I'm on about absolutely <hes> software. . Wise. . I feel like software wise is where we had at least some surprise. . We didn't really know very much <hes> or at least I didn't know very much going into the event about extreme battery saver which they say promises up to forty eight hours. . It's switches off a bunch of features on the phone I even more. . So than it did before pases most APPs slows down the processor. . It's just like if you need to stretch your battery this way do it and you can get two days out of it. .

"So it was very confusing and scary time in my life and you know at the height of that was was the addiction that I was going through. And so I tried every way to get better I being to lots of doctors and psychologists. Psychiatrists tried alternative therapies. I tried to most cited like literally everything I could find a true my money out to get well and I just nothing was really changing. what I was going through and. It wasn't until I- Brandon Lee like a friend of mine suggested I go to Yoga and then he took me to this class and was meditation that Mateo was actually telling me that it was all in my mind like it began and ended. With the mind and that's what I. Began to Change How I. Began to understand my mind and noticed that. The causes of suffering notes the conditions that I was living under notice how I was causing a lot of pain. Or the suffering my life. These still stay in touch with you guys connected. "Spotlight nonprofit events and organizations here in our town spotlighting the community I answer out of corners hoping you're having a great day Brandon Lee joining me here in the studio Grand Prix academy I am so excited to have you on the show today education is my absolute favorite to share about here on the show so tell is running a little bit about grand peak academy sure thing well thanks for having us on the show today Granby kadam me is a public charter school is located in D. forty nine and were just north of Woodmen off of black four star in cal poke a we just built a brand new sixty five thousand square foot building this year we've got just under eight hundred students K. through eight and we are a character development and core knowledge focus school that's very exciting so K. through right now is there a long waiting list to get into any of the grade levels I think depends on the great you know kindergarten is always got a big weightless everybody's really want to get their kids and in some more you know earlier than others so kindergartens always pretty big we have a relatively small population for middle school which are looking to grow were actually starting a second phase of our building to add more middle school classrooms some a librarian some additional labs for the school so yeah I think depending on which grade level you're looking to get your kids in that's going to depend on the the wait list you know usually our elementary classes are pretty easy to get into same thing with middle school kindergartens the one that you know that the lottery and then don't be discouraged if you apply and you don't get it right away because it with the military and people moving here and there so much transition in Colorado so don't get discouraged get on that waiting list and you may go from thinking you're twenty five out to now you have in that letter of acceptance so it's funny is when we first during the school have an eighth grader there and a fourth grader and to my eighth grader barely made it into the kindergarten class was like the fourth or fifth to last kid to be offered a seat and we had him on the waiting list for two years this is some serious stuff you're like I work here and I don't even do you like what do I need to become the principal in your courage he that is fantastic so I read on the website that it started the school in two thousand eight is that correct that's correct we did start under a different name we're located on Dublin Peterson and I'm just to the in June of twenty nineteen we parted ways with the old company and became our own entity called Graham Peter cadmium became self manage our board that I'm a part of manages the school oversees everything and we have the prince of the of the principal for coming to school and for middle school but yet we separated ties with the old company from two thousand eight and then right now we've got our inaugural year as green P. Tatham fantastic I love the name Graham P. Kennedy and the forty nine in the north eastern side of town needed more schools I heard they were busing kids from callers readings all around trying to get people into schools and nobody should have to go twenty miles to school right yeah what's fortunate pressed to his war on sort of the western boundary of the forty nine so it was a traditionally underserved areas so the forty nines been fantastic to work with for us to the you know helped us get the land and helped us with our you know try to renew and moving away from our other entity so it's been really great partnering with them and I'm really happy to be in that neighborhood and it's the forest meadows neighborhood is sort of who we service in Canada west side of the D. forty nine district and that is a booming neighborhood you might need to build eighteen more schools right connected to your school yeah it's there's like six thousand homes back perspective to be built there I think yeah I'm there I'm going to be done in June right so everyone needs to apply right now to get on the waiting list and this is so if you're pregnant would it be a good idea to apply they have to be bored now you can put it there but I'm sure that you can add them to the wait list I know we were added on the wait list when my son was three so do you know if you really can't be sorry if you're prepared so I would say the sooner the better you know if you're of that age you can always call the school and set up to R. Singh can kind of take a look at sort of what what happens in our school and kind of the culture you know we're a a charter school that has uniforms all of our students are wearing uniforms so there's a nice feel they're in the in the student culture and the staff culture is very unique as opposed to what I think some other schools have so yeah it's really if you come visit the school there's a lot of opportunity for you to to see what we offer yes in I love the fact that it's uniforms because then nobody has to wonder what they're wearing that dates like all right is it the red shirt of the blue so it is a K. through eight which is another great feature because then it you don't have to worry about switching schools like I was military I think I moved twenty two times in my youth it was I that's why I'm so well adapted always making new friends new school new town so get on the waitlist and do you have any events coming never any tourism parents can plug into now yeah we did have earlier last week we had our first the fifth grade and our middle school nights we will be hosting additional nights in April and in may and will post us up on Facebook and on our website and also we do what we do have a preschool section of our schools well so we have preschool and then we have K. through eight are preschool sort of a different entity but it's housed within our school and so you know we accept children I think there are three to four years old and then they kind of feed right into the kindergarten program so unbelievable I think that's unheard of are you the only one that does that beside some of the private schools like the Catholic schools are Christian school I don't think so I think a lot of the schools have a preschool feeder the kind of feeds into them but in our old building or facility they were sort of house outside of our building so they weren't necessarily connected and now we built the way we constructed the new school it's actually a part of our school so they're in our school they have their own kind of wing they have their own insurance at the preschool comes in and then we have our other classes kind of separated in in the building you're making it so easy for families it's a one stop shop grandee could carry me dot org is a website you can you call Brandon get tors and then of course check out the different grade levels a different seats and get on the waiting list now if you ever think you're going to get pregnant it's a good idea you know down the road they may want to have kids and they didn't tell us about some of the curriculum that stands out differently from a public school that you're offering a grand academy sure so we're a core knowledge curriculum school and what that means is that all of the content of the curriculum builds if there's a foundation for each grade level and it's consistent across grade levels all of our teachers in first grade and second grade or teaching the same content in first grade and then that content builds into second grade so the second grade staff knows exactly what the first grade students learned and they build on that and that goes all the way up K. through eight so there's a lot of enrichment that takes place within the curriculum where we have core knowledge days so we have a medieval day where the kids come in the day dress up in costumes and they have a feast and it's everything related to whatever the content is during that section so it's a very immersive for the students as they really understand everything that's happening and then as its building over time the knowledge they learned in the previous years it just they can relate back to it and it just keeps kind of cycling and re emphasizing what they've learned so it works really great for the humanities and creative kids learning about history they have a lot of great field trips and things that they go on as well that's it helps to reinforce that content I'm just jealous that I didn't get to attend the school you too they have a lot of fun stuff that I didn't because I tend to dress up like the renaissance festival and that does make it memorable year you may not remember story you read but you remember the day you got to dress up in character and played out in school and learning should be fun it you should be outdoors you should be outsell Tribune it's real life for not just sitting there and four walls all day so great job Brandon with you and your team grand P. cat ME get on the list check it out D. forty nine school and it's in the indigo ranch area no the force meadow source meadows yeah fantastic thank you so much for joining me here in our town I can't wait to check out Graham he can be so should you your organization can be a part of this show too it's a great opportunity to get your message in front of six remarkable radio audiences each representing a wide variety of age groups.

"And in fact, in lorries case, because yesterday we sat down we met Lori and she suffers from fibromyalgia. She also has so many back issues. She went through the whole list of not only the elements that she suffering from, but also the different state step. She is taken to try to, to fix them. We're talking about chiropractic care and acupuncture and massage and changing her diet, like she. He doesn't go straight to the opioid, but needs to have that in her toolbox, if and when it gets that bad. I mean, this is stigma for me that I face every day when I go to reach for that pill if I need one, because then I in my mind, I'm like, I'm hearing, these words. Abuser addict, you know, because that's what the media and everything's blowing up right now. And yet, when we have an issue, but I think we need to be celebrated that we are managing the best as we can. So Lori is celebrating that. Yes. She she's managing life. And you know what? I'm also celebrating Gabriel who, who sobered up and is now helping out soon as I sobered up and started to believe that I could actually live a life of sobriety and be normal member of society. The only thing that I thought that I could possibly ever do is help other people like me. Arizona's opioid epidemic are day five and final day. The road to recovery. And we thought that we started through the eyes of attic, talking to Gabriel hearing his story of starting at the age of thirteen using and finally, we heard about the depth and then finally his his recovery, but why don't we end it with another one of those stories and somebody that you may be familiar with somebody, you probably watched on TV. You welcomed into your home up -solutely, Brandon Lee, former TV three anchor. All right. The left recently just last year. Has an amazing story of abuse addiction. And redemption and recovery. And we're gonna talk to Brandon next about his struggle with addiction and. His message of hope for others that are going through something similar really serving as an example, Arizona's opioid epidemic..

"But so that's what I wanna point that out because some people don't have that around them. So it's game changing for people because it sounds like everything that you've said like your comeback rate has been pretty fast for people who don't have that yet. I always try to like remind them of what happens when someone's like tough love or you know, helps them get back compared to like. Oh, yeah. It's scary to go for your dreams, or oh, this sucks, and people are awful or social media's scary place or. Oh, yeah. People tack you. If you do that like yet, you're not gonna want to go after your goals anymore. If people are confirming like, it's scary in hard. So. Yeah. And I was gonna say I mean, something that I've learned along the way is nyc vent to the right people, and you know, yeah, you're gonna make mistakes. You're not always going to know who those people are. But like, for example, for me, if I have if I have something happened, and it's very business oriented, I can certainly tell my best friend about it. But she works in a completely different industry completely different lifestyle. Like, she like, she can be compassionate. You know, or like you said Jimmy, tough, love, whatever. And try to give me whatever advice comes to mind, but I like to call some of I have to really close friends that both run their own businesses. And I really liked calling them when certain things happen because the odds are they've also been through it. And so I find that the conversations are a little bit more productive. And, you know, sometimes it's annoying to like all your mom, and she's like next, and you you do one of Ben's about the problem. So I do think it's about vending to the right? People in overtime. You kind of figure out who those people are. I always say like, I have a pool of people, and they didn't they weren't there right away. But I have a pool of people, and I call them like my pump insz people meaning that if I'm feeling down, and like, I just need a good old fashioned dosa confidence there certain people that I call because they're so overconfident, and I just like one a piece of it bright. And it's it's surprising who those people can be like, I have a family friend who I've known her forever who very recently at a family dinner. We've known each other for thirty years. We Brandon Lee started talking about work staff, and he just gave me great advice in made me feel more competent in all of a sudden, he's one of my confidence people I call up. So I think that sometimes the right people pop up from unexpected places. All my I love that. That is like priceless advice. Learn to vent to the right people. So I mean that is like the it's like a doer dicey situation. It is there are those moments in life where when you're already down or your low or your sensitive like be super aware of who you're talking to just like if you had problems with your husband, and it was like, oh, we are hit or miss right now. You don't wanna go talk to that person who is like anti couples. Right. Right, right. You're not going to be a couple. You will be out with them that night. So. Yeah. Like just being overly aware. Okay. Amazing. All right. So getting super clear on your goals. So what would you say is number five like the bow of like? Okay. So here we are. We have our goals. We we know how what happens if we get off course, what is kind of the what are we now? They, you know, next. It's time to I I mentioned this earlier, but like shut up and work like at some point. And I I talk about at the beginning of the book. I have these seventeen guiding principles for getting it together. And one of the guiding principles is stopped getting ready to get ready. Stop getting ready to get ready. And it just means I get some point we can all make our goals..
