The team is too old and three in their last five games, taking two out of a possible four points out of the two games in Nashville, with both of those games going to the extra session, and you've accrued points in five straight games, so going forward what we look to build on from that progression? Thought the defensive game was solid in Nashville, their particular the first two periods. We need to continue that continue the growth. They're just coming back home here. The urgency pressure on the puck Execution with the park. Those things can help us control the tempo of the game playing the offensive zone drop penalties just you know, it's important. We start on time, and we don't wait 10 minutes or a period to show the desperation that we need to win. You know, one so far, Shots on goal are concerned. He's now played three games for the Hawks. How do you feel he's performed Yeah, It's uh, you know, he's still getting up to speed. I feel it's been it was tough with, you know, took us a long time to get him in, but he's a very professional. Guy. He understands how to play and where he's supposed to be. Compete level is excellent. He wins. A lot of 50 fifty's. That size is nice to add. Down the middle and you can play. You know both special teams. If we need it can be in big situations defensively, So you know, obviously we're down a couple centers, and he's gonna help fill that void. Okay. It's the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in the first of two meetings over the weekend, and if you know, the Columbus Blue Jackets says, I know you do you know that they bring a lunch pail mentality to their games. They're known for winning games with hard work. They won't have Patrick Wine a available after the trade because immigration issues but that's really not for you to be concerned with, obviously, But what do your thoughts about the blue jackets and about how you'll need to be ready to play them tonight? Yeah, We know exactly what we're going to get what to expect. They're very tight. Structure, disciplined team. They're not going to give you a lot for free to make you come through five guys. Whenever they can. We gotta be prepared to match that work ethic. Be patient. Maybe it takes us, you know, 55 minutes to breakthrough. We've got to make them work for what they get and be sharp defensively and then have killer instinct when we do have been vulnerable, so it's a good challenge their their team that they're always in the mix because they don't beat themselves. I'm excited to see how we respond. Coming into training camp. People around the NHL that run talk shows and whatnot say they looked at the black card goaltending situation, and they said, Yeah, Malcolm Suban Colin Delia, and Who's That other guy, and that other guy was Kevin Lincoln and, and his name lately has been mentioned prominently on a number of NHL talk shows for a solid playing goal for the Blackhawks. Got points in all of his games. Too old and too, and I know he wants to keep that going. I don't know what your goaltending situation is going to be like tonight. That's part of the question. But has Lincoln and Splay made it a challenge for you as head coach in choosing your goaltender. Well, it's a good problem to have. He got multiple guys playing while Lincoln and we'll start tonight. The Gold Tang situation is it's a microcosm of how our team has been viewed, You know, not not a lot of people. Taken us down much success this year, and I think they've used that as Fuel to prove some people wrong. "They have to have a mindset here that when you get in the offensive zone, spend some more time in that area. But when you have the opportunity, you've got to get bodies and park to the Net. There's rebounds there. We're doing what we need to do. And all of a sudden it it it went right out the window. So you got attacked the middle of the ice tonight against Nashville, and I don't know why they've had such lack of success and scoring against national. Yeah, the Ah good team. They basically rolled with four defenseman. They didn't really play there. Third pairing. In the game last night, And when you've got Yoshi and Alison that comb and Fabbro out there, you got to make it tough on them. You gotta make them defend a lot more and use up some energy and their own into the ice, so they don't have the energy and the offensive side of it because those big fork back there Nashville expect them to play a lot of ice time tonight. But if it's an easy amount of ice time because they're not working hard, not battling. That's bad for the Blackhawks for those six goals on Sunday against Detroit, came below the dots. You know, Bread and butter is going to come with his stick work in his footwork and reading plays and he gets another opportunity here tonight, And I know Jeremy Carlson very complimentary. I think he was tempted earlier on to insert Bohdan into the lineup. The opportunity here comes tonight. What have you seen from him and training camp compared to previous camps. I think there's a different confidence level and an awareness of how you have to play in the NHL. When you first come in you. You really have no idea. You have no clue. What it takes to play in the NHL. And that comes over coming into training camp, Seeing how guys like Duncan Keith on the blue line, Brent Seabrook, the veteran players prepare themselves and how hard they have to work Tonto shin themselves to play at at this level, and that's something that for the younger players, they just don't understand. They think they work out hard, but they don't understand how hard they actually Have to commit to what you do in the off season, and it sounds like Bohdan did that this offseason. He put on some weight. He said that he feels better that way. And I think Justin awareness of how the game is played at this level. Is something that that he can build on from the lessons that he's learned when he's been in camp when he's been in the all of the groups with it with the veteran players, So you know, we'll see what happens tonight. Looks like Jeremy Colton is gonna roll seven defenseman I thought last night when you had some guys on the blue line struggling Um, that it was tougher for Sheldon Brooke Banked who runs the defense and Jeremy College in to find guys who were ready to go out there who were playing at a level that you needed to have.
