"You want to talk about a smooth transition? Look what happened in Minnesota when he left and look what's happened Buffalo's offense since he arrived. I mean, this guy hits the ground running. He's already on the same page with his young quarterback Brandon Bean. Gave up a time to get this guy, and so far it looks brilliant. Diggs is a beast. This guy makes corners look stupid with the amount of separation and get consistently so being goes out. He gets Alan. A legit number one wide out in digs. Digs leads the NFL on receiving yardage. Alan leads the league in passing two games in house that O Buffalo. A great pickup by the bills. Now again to be fair. I'm not going to pump the brakes on this completely. But to be fair, I do need to see more of this, and I need to see more of this against somebody other than the Jets and the Dolphins. He owns the Dolphins and the Jets. Jets are horrible football team. Actually, that's being kind to the Jets. What's worse than horrible that So I need to see this and this offense against a better D, which is why I mentioned this earlier. I can't wait to see how he and they show up against a Ram's defense is weak. One thing to blow out the Jets to come back on the Dolphins. Ah, very different thing, however, to set Aaron Donald and Joan Ramsey on fire and that defense Again. Bills fan. I'm not hating. You know me? I'm celebrating. I'm here to enjoy the fact that you want a game because of your offense because of your young franchise quarterback. Josh Allen is looking more and more like the real thing. And if, in fact he is And he can keep this up. All of a sudden, we're not talking on ly about ripping the A F C East. We're not talking about a return in the playoffs we're talking about Maybe you challenging for the Lombardi. If Alan can keep doing this I mean, for real. When was the last time you could legitimately say that about the bills? When was the last time you could legitimately celebrate elite quarterback play on the bills? If this holds up, there will not be enough tables in all above low for the Mafia to bust through..

"Them look better than they are but at what they do at their craft slot receiver creating separation look if you look at the metrics on what Welker was in one Adleman is now they're both really good too they those are great players that's a lot of on the head so yeah Brady makes a lot of scrubs look great he's also had some great players and having a lot of options to me is not enough I want to have a lot of great options I want what Kansas city has some one day one day I don't either to happen right now I think they did the best they could've on the short term like to go to basically build an offense from scratch in one off season it's hard to see them doing better than they did maybe landing brown back and would have been it but they did pretty dang what breed pretty darn well for that but ultimately I want this team to think about Kansas city I want them to see that happening I want when when Brandon bean Sean McDermott go home at night after the games and they turn on Sunday night football in the Kansas City Chiefs are playing I would I want them in the back of their heads to watch those games and think that's gonna be us one day I want that because Kate the city eight the bills you're right the bills have a lot of options they do they have a bunch of respectable options Beasley brown say Jones foster Duke Williams maybe for running backs they've got a lot of guys that Ellen can consider when he drops back to pass put my homes in what they built around him that's where you want to get they have some of the fastest players in the league my homes drops back and hits Tyree kill in a leaked receiver the best to getting separation in the league Travis Kelsey now the graphs graphs gone the best tight end in football Sammy Watkins over paid sure injury prone sure if he's your number two wide receiver wow that's good not to mention that all the draft capital we've used in the last year to me call hard men in Darwin Thompson do you have any Thomas and Chris Connelly I don't use there anymore but like they they continue to add all these fast case because then you just run straight ahead you make all the corners thing you're going deep and then you stop and you've dug around my homes looking at you got ten yards around you I want the bills to look at them as an example and I think you should be able to do that you don't have to be Kansas city but you could be a watered down kit Kansas city are you still gonna be a really good offense because that quarterback over there Allen's never going to be as consistent as my homes as but the things my homes can do on the field and one can do on the field you might not be able to do them as often but he can do that you can build your offense in their mold you can do it and interestingly enough the caller there Mike thank you right double there was a buzz at said table given the whole year I disabled might be the thing I'm most excited about on this team that's not a player but he's off the corner and if it goes really really really well of course don't get me wrong I wouldn't want them to be worse off so he can stick around but if you close really really well that guy get tired by head coach somewhere or get to be head coach somewhere it is it just the coordinator errors of their entire way of thinking Denison you member him holy cow is that the most militant mole Manila offense we ever seen it thrill five it is the phone number I didn't get to the players I'm looking for tomorrow night I'll get to that right after the break here on WGR this is Rick generate reminding.

"I mean this is a candidate for you know as rosters go one of the weakest in the league overall. So I think it could be as low as those numbers are I think it could be tough for him to do a whole lot this year. I hope he does, but it's another new system and it's. Circumstances are not lining up for this young man and the bar so low, you know, I mean, I think for me jump for me because of the bar. I mean eleven jumped passing touchdowns. I'm gonna jump over there. Ju. You confused that bald head. Jack games anymore. Jack. I have a lot more in one. Addi slow down just there's more tape on. I'm going to say this to me goes much further to the I'm going to six in one record here when I'm going to say this, I'm going to say I'm going slump here. Just I'm Jim just because the six that's very difficult to sustain. We saw when the chargers getting to see him for the second time what they did to them now their offense has changed. They're going to be more. Lamar Jackson friendly understanding what he does. Well, they've built office now around him but six in one in seven games. That's insane football. So in my opinion, his numbers, I think are going to go, but as far as that record that's going to be tough to match number on watching for him as a fumbles way too many gambles laugh to get that under control. Getting hit like twenty times again executive too much. You're a sixteen game stretch, seven-game stretch. Maybe. Right, right. Yeah. Quickest hell, but not that big talking about l'amour moving onto the next one where we're doing buffalo. I believe Josh Allen, Tim z z accurate enough. Chiefs slump or jump Josh Allen. You know, I'm going jump Josh Allen. You know, just looking at the numbers ten touchdowns and twelve interceptions a little bit surprised me because I thought that he really played better. I think a lot of people thought that he would play. I mean obviously the running was it real surprise you. It seemed like for everybody goes after remember to didn't play play a ton. I've been through some quarterbacks head the elbow injury on the throwing in fact played with a brace on his throwing elbow. I'm not sure I've ever seen a quarterback do that. The physical tools are so impressive. I think he's well coached up there. I think he improves and makes them more competitive. I did talk to GM Brandon bean a couple of weeks ago about him said, they really felt if they could improve the offensive line and the run game and protect him better. That is accuracy would improve. He didn't say accuracy said decision making and also being was in Carolina. When Cam Newton came into the league, he said, there's some comparisons here in terms of the way he runs the size it cetera. So they're watching out for that as well. High BUSTER only here in my friends at marathon. On a really helping you stay..

"Came about getting weekends in the summer, like we all do get a pack them out this year. I can't pack out and do stuff travel. We've got a great tweet about this. Even I don't want to dwell on too much, Jeremiah Ortiz tweeted, this after you're discussing even announcing that after twenty one years he is leaving CBS Jeremiah says, of course, we care Steve. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that I always felt like that's our guy every time I saw you working game best wishes to you and your family. Steve. Thank you for all your work from your football career and onward that's really nice from Jeremiah. Ortiz. Well, let's not turn this into you know why now. Thanks, jeremiah. Appreciate it. Yeah. Okay. That's nice. We do have a real topic today that doesn't deal with Stephen deals with the OT as no. You know what I mean I. Yeah. We got some really to talk about. It's are. So if you're Brandon bean, or Sean McDermott, and you walk out there today, an hour ago, first day of the ten days where do your eyes go. I our Twitter poll. We put up a three names or three suggestions. Josh Allen, fifty fifty two percent of the city that's where you'd look verse. Thirty six percent of you say you look at the offense of line, that's receiving. I say, we would look I ten percents first round draft pick at Oliver two percent had something else in mind, we got about seven hundred fifty votes already in on Twitter like to hear your thoughts on this. Give us a call also. We'll read some tweets at a moment, but phone call the start, and we'll go with Tom in Buffalo New laptop here. Hello Tom, go ahead. Where would your eyes go first time? Hey, guys, I, I I'd like to wish eve. I happy second retirement. Thank you. And look forward to your when is your third time we're going to be hopefully not many, but three o'clock you're gonna retire. I know a couple of guys like you retired four five. I went to a guy he's deceased, now love the guy. But I bet I went to a half dozen. He was basketball coach, half dozen retirement parties for him. Okay, if you're MC Dermott, I, I would probably guess defense because he defensive-minded but being, I would be all over the offense watching the chemistry all the way from the offensive line to Josh Ellen and his country with a tight ends and wide receivers and not even though running backs because I'm not worried about the defenses year but debacle has all new toys on the offense and he's got to put them together and scheme around what he has. What do you point? Yep. I you we always do this, on the show because there's always room for it and makes good sense to do. And thanks for the call Tom, like he started talking about Josh, obviously, here's the thing. It's about it's all about Josh at this point. They have bolstered the offense the office of personnel, theoretically until we prove proven, otherwise either yes or no. There's not much more. They can do with the roster around Josh. They gave him some weapons and give them a couple of good receivers quality proven guys. They've got he's got to the most experienced well the two most experienced running backs in NFL history. In the same backfield behind him one's a shoe, in hall of Famer and the other one was Shawn McCoy is one of those guys that with a good year a year and a half, he's in that conversation, and you got a draft pick back there. The new, you got three or four new tight ends that you're looking at and the offense of line's been pulse. So that the whole roster has been built and now it comes back to your quarterback. You know how does Josh do. That's why you know fifty two percent of the people who've responded, you know, it is there's no question, it is about Josh, it is. But my I guess my point is, and we specifically worded this exquisitely worded Twitter poll to say this, where do your eyes. Go I during today's OTA what can you possibly see today? That would give you an idea of Josh Allens progress is next step. I don't know that there's much that you could see as I said. Maybe not even until you get to a preseason game or a regular season game to be honest. And and what you would. I don't know what to look for from Josh. And I think also a lot of their evaluation for this time of year. Murph happens in dark film room. Yeah. They're getting his feedback. What do you think about this? You remember. And now and this is the one thing I think Josh has over the other or the three quarterbacks in this in in the game. He's talking about Baker Mayfield. Sam darnold, Josh Rosen. He's got the same coordinator, same head coach same room. Same guys around him, Josh Allens walking back into it ready to take another step on top of what he's already done. Now, you got Sam darnold in New York. He's running a new offense new terminology new players. All of that stuff Baker Mayfield. Same team. Same offensive coordinator, but now is coordinated spread more thin. And now is the head coach and that's an adjustment. Although, albeit not as not as great as Sam darnold, Josh Rosen, good grief. He got traded to the Miami Dolphins first time head coach new players. New new offense new some weird stat about how many offensive coordinators in the last four different OC's for Jess Rosen, the last four years, crazy. So all of that stuff going on with, with that in mind. Josh Allen of those guys has the most stability moving forward. He's the guy that's coming back and maybe ready to take another step quicker because everything's stable around him. So that's you know, and it is all about him. It is all about him. But by the same token, you know, they're finding a lot of stuff about, you know, con in conversation with him in the dark room where they're all watching film, where do you remember about this, and he'll say, well, we, we call this because of this, this defense. We're thinking this and this, and I and you know, I made my mind up here before you know what? I mean all these conversations really helping the evaluation process so on the field when they get on the field. It's like you know what? I don't need to watch him. I'm going to watch him on film. When I wanna see I wanna see at all of a rush the passer, I want to see him what he looks like in his hand plays, you know, their stuff on the field that mean more with other positions than they do in in the quarterback spot. Because it's so mental. Hey, what do you think if you're Brandon bean, or Sean McDermott, where do your eyes go? I when you hit the field today for OT for C of otas from the tweet cheat from Ray. He says it's all about Josh Allen. Does he control the huddle does? He start to develop chemistry with his new receivers. Does he pick up where he left off at season's end as an undisputed leader of the team? I mean he control the how to last year and you right about this. Ray. He finished off last season is pretty much the undisputed leader of the team at least the offense in particular. Yeah I'm being I guess, look is Steve just pointed out. Yes, it is all about Josh Allen. I just don't know what to expect to see from him in a practice like today's and I don't think yeah. And like I said, most of what they're finding out about them is on the football field, or anything and believe me anything he does on the football field. The film is going to tell them and they're going to go over time and time again, so to be on the field and unless face it, Sean McDermott may not be in the defensive lineman meeting. He probably won't be in the quarterback meeting, but he he'll know what he's looking at when he gets on the field, and he'll wanna go over and see whichever one he's not going to spend more time with I would think it was going to be the defensive line. He may be is off. Offensive meeting. He may be in their quarterback room. He may be talking about this with those guys. But whatever one he's not in. That's the one he's gonna go watch. So he gets more information about it. So he's not going to rub up against the offensive lineman this week or this month. He may go watch them in practice to make sure he's up on what's going on over there. You know what I'm saying? The one he doesn't spend more time the most time with off the field is the one hill watch when they're on the field. What do you think? Where do they go? What are their is go first the GM and the coach, give us a call. We got lines open.

"And where he is with his own career, and especially his career here in buffalo start by the mental side of things, you know, he pretty much shut it down as far as talking to the media for about a week and a half or so. And and he I mean, he was frustrated. I mean, that's that. I've never seen that look in just the sound in his voice because here's the thing. I mean, he's had a ton of success. He there haven't been many stretches during his playing days at any level where he struggled like he did to begin this season. And I don't think that this is where the way he thought his tenth NFL season would be going now that being said he finally gets over one hundred yards rushing and one of the things that he pointed out in the post game was the player of the guards. Well, just so happens that Wyatt teller stepped in. And I thought did a really nice job in his first NFL start. I think I think the Sean has physically now talking about that. I think he's still got I think he's they're still gas left in that tank. I just I've seen too many moves this year still where I go all that that that sure that looks familiar. The problem is that you know, teams are going to continue to stack the box until the bills have a threat to get deep in behind the coverage. And that they have a quarterback that can take they can hit that wide out down the field stretch the field. So I mean, they're going to need to find a way to put some pieces around him. But yeah, I think the Sean is he's I think he's still got it. And and talk I sat down with GM Brandon bean last week, we had a chance to talk, and that was one of the things I asked I said, you know, is is he still I mean the trade deadline. It went by. And you didn't move him. You know, he's still part is e part of the long term plan. He said, absolutely. We still believe in what? And what he brings the team. This is one of the things that really stood out to me that he brought up and then later on game day Sunday at a chance I was standing talking to Joe Shane the bill's assistant general manager, and he echoed it. And I didn't even bring it up to Joe set it on his own. They said. That one of the things that they needed they needed to keep Leshan around for that. They really like is how much he has bought in to Josh Allen. They said that the fact that he went to the podium and said, I don't really like rookies normally you remember that I do. But he says he goes telling you right now. This guy's gonna be special. Yeah. And they said that for a star in the NFL to come out and say that about a rookie. Yeah. They're rookie quarterback Dave invested in. They thought it meant a lot to keep that positive energy around. Josh and keep a guy that believes in him around him. And I think that's I think I think that played into it a little bit. Probably it's interesting. I do believe when they say he's in their plans for next year. I do believe he will be here next year. But I absolutely believe they would move him. If they're in the same position at the trade deadline. Oh, absolutely. I just don't think that I think that he was worth more to their team right now and next September. Then what they were gonna get in return form if the offers were fifth or sixth round draft pick. They've got ten picks already next year that don't know that a fifth or sixth round draft pick. In fact, it it's not worth giving up the one playmaker that you have on offense proven that. He can get it done. All right. We'll take a timeout will come back here. Another couple of minutes with Josh.

"Five fifty to join us this morning. I guess so someone tweeted isn't Logan Thomas a quarterback. He played the position in college. And. I gotta check with salaries wondering like if he's the emergency quarterback. But I wouldn't expect Logan Thomas to be playing quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. Eight three zero five fifty to join us eight eight eight five fifty to five fifty and you can let us know your thoughts on the quarterback situation. Quick. Let me get this before the break, Brian tweeted and can't understand why you guys are not holding the bills and the NFL accountable as there is a proven starting quarterback available in capital makes it look like you're part of the collusion. I'm not part of the collusion. My job is to not hold the NFL accountable. The bills aren't bringing in Colin Kaepernick. He doesn't fit the kind of guy. They want on the roster. Right. End of story. It's really it's it's not collusion. And it's not you're not holding them. That's not who they're going to want on their roster. You know, if you've been watching if you listen to Sean McDermott, Brandon bean, right? Look at all the receivers that have been out there for a team that is desperate at that position. And they won't sign does Bryant they're not interested in does Bryant, right. They didn't want. Josh Gordon, Rishard Matthews, of course, I think he's still out there actually all these guys out. There are not here because they have a type of person not football player, but person they want on their roster. There's no way he fits that. No, no. I don't think so either. And that's not to say, he's a bad person. That's because they don't really like anybody that draws attention to themselves, right? Right. And sometimes they have guys that do that. And they're not a big fan of it. So. Right. Colin Kaepernick qualified to be an NFL quarterback. Yes. Has the league kept him out through collusion? Probably. Yes. The reason we don't talk about it because we talked about the bills, and I'd like to think that we we hope we know them a little bit and everything you just said is right. They're not going to do that. No chance eight.

"It's just. Part of the frustrating part here is if I try to evaluate Josh Allen. What's immediately coming back at me guys? This offense is not in good shape. Okay. If I try to evaluate their free agents curly in Davis. What comes back at me? Guys, come on. They didn't have any money. Okay. So we're basically going to live in an evaluation free period because we have to wait until next year. Sure. I get that when looking at the big picture but week in week out. I mean, I'm still going to his four calls. I'm going to evaluate value individual players horse. You can you have. That's what they're doing. Yeah. Accountability doesn't stop. You know, again, I think there's a there's a difference in some of the, you know, the what does the term accountability mean to you accountability for some might be evaluation for me if I hear accountability. I mean to me that means can I evaluate Brandon Beane. Sure not last not on last year's draft. Not on last year's free agency came in after that. But I can evaluate Brandon bean on this year's draft class and this year's free agents. And this year's roster moves can I value, even if they're rebuilding can evaluate Sean McDermott. Yeah. Absolutely. Why why you think the defense splaine like garbage, then you can hold Sean McDermott accountable. It doesn't accountability doesn't mean whether you're fired or not but accountability to me means evaluate and even in a rebuilding year. You can still evaluate we're evaluating Josh Allen as he plays evaluating Tremain. Edmond says he plays Harrison Phillips, Tehran Johnson all these guys from the draft class. So the evaluation goes on no matter what if you could have thought they were going to and fourteen and had no hope. At all for this season to be anything. But a tank your whatever you can sell evaluate the players they're bringing in it's mostly their roster. It's not a finished product. But it's mostly guys that they have brought in. So it is absolutely fair to say the receiving core is a mess. That's on them. They got rid of Sammy Watkins, they did not want to assign Robert woods, they didn't draft a wide receiver until the sixth round of the draft this year, they traded for Jordan Mathews. It didn't work out. They traded for Calvin Benjamin, man. So you can still evaluate these guys. Absolutely. On everything that's being done around here. What do you have coming up and extended sports today coming up in extending sports just rolling through some tax tweets that are rolling in? Anyway. I don't know. We'll talk about tonight's preseason game. Hey, Washington DC. This is boomer size and former pro football quarterback. I insist on as trim from my home. As is the best high performance trim on the market were they act trimmed. There's no chipping and no cracking as Zack is moisture,.

"New. New everything and we got some. New quarterbacks to, Nathan Peterman is the only guy returning, so, those, guys none of. The three quarterbacks were here. Brian Dave I wasn't here you said. Sean our here so we're just we're not looking, back we're looking forward and. We like where we're headed but we have not arrived. We know we got a lot of work to do As you might expect Brandon Beane, cautious conservative in, anticipation from his passing game but we talked to you and I talked afterwards to see. Clearly. They're, not touting, this Korey Coleman trade is like we've just fixed everything we, just saw, blockbuster, trade it's not right, it's, not but there's, potential particularly, on the Bill. Side of it now you say what you. Want about the Browns that to. Me the seventh, round pick in two years is nothing, but, trade, for later moved, for the Browns they're trying. To trade Korey Coleman thinking he might. Not make their team anyway given the moves they've, made a wide receiver and. That's a guy that gets caught in the in the Gets caught in the numbers and so I think. You're right, there's a lot up. In the air, but the potential is. On. The side of the Buffalo Bills in this. In this deal, you're there you and I were there. This morning for Brandon bean I love his demeanor at these press. Conferences even when they make a. Big move like, this he's never overselling. It he's never telling you, this is we. Just made, a major move here you know what I mean you. Always down there's a lot of the lot of things have to, happen before you can even make a judgment on it he's you're right Murphy does have a. Great demeanor about it because you don't feel like he's trying to sell you, anything he says, this is the move we, made this why we made it thanks thanks for stopping by You know, it's great I mean I I agree, with that completely why are you. Trying to sell, a trade that has already. Been made, and I like the I like the logic of. It he admitted that it. Was listening to cheap way, to get a, great athlete. On the field. We'll see if we can form them into what I that can help us what else did you get out of Brandon today there's a of stuff in there all the thing I got and we said it. A little earlier the fact of. The matter is that you know they're, on it all the time and then they're never letting up anything he said somebody asked, him to. We've we've touched on this during the day to about. Is this an indictment over where the receivers. Are now nobody like showing up all of a, sudden they they think. They're wide receiver core,.

"Bill GM Brandon bean swinging a trade with the Browns Korey Coleman wide receiver acquired, from Cleveland the. Bills send a seventh round pick in twenty twenty to Cleveland to get. Corey Coleman he a first round pick two years ago has, played two, seasons in the NFL, battled injuries and inconsistency but. Korey Coleman the newest member of the Buffalo Bills acquired via trade with the Browns also adding the receiver mix the return of Zayd Jones Jones. Of course an eventful off season including an incident Los Angeles I think I'll be doing. Myself a a very big disservice about went back to their that moment. Was very traumatic for me. And my family it's a? Rehash that now at this point in time wouldn't be doing me any good I know you have a, job to do so I'm not. Trying to I'm trying to look forward you know, what I'm saying.

"Perceived, and. Videos and quotes all over the internet all the. Time things like that I? Think that's the piece where the owner had to feel comfortable as far as their vetting process? I I think what struck me is how collaborative random Vinas with his staff Joe? Shane had a big part in this Sean McDermott had a big part of this but soda Brian Cabell and so did. David Kelly I mean those are people that have to work Josh Allen every day, and how, is he going to handle a certain sir Coaching how is. He going to handle the. Playing in our system that Brian David wants to employ you know when I asked Brandon bean at the combine how much Brian Cabell system. Played into what, he wanted to do a quarterback he said I'm not. Gonna take a quarterback just because of the system the. Guy, is running but it's. Clear that he wants to, make sure that the offensive coordinator is okay with the guy, in the person first and foremost that he's going to be coaching on a daily basis. And I thought to me it was really came out how collaborative Brandon bean was, throughout this whole, thing do you. Have an opinion informed over your years of talking to scouts and coaches and coordinators or just just. From, you know watching it from far on fixing footwork for quarterbacks that is. Referenced by being as being something that is largely. To blame for the accuracy issues that, Alan has, endured, through. His college career and I. Think the, strongest case for being patient with Allen and not rushing him. Onto the field and we want is to give him Him ample time to get comfortable with his footwork being proper, and not fall back into old habits Yeah that's. An interesting question I think for some guys. That you can never be fixed they have their habits. They're going to do what they wanna do. Then they, go through a different quarterbacks coach, every year I think that's a. Big part of. It you know when you talk. About having stability I think that's a big thing the bills need they're gonna work with Josh Allen I think the. Stability part is going to be something that needs to be. Going forward where he's not being taught one thing from one coach and another thing from another coach but I think in with him. Specifically and I talked, about, this right after the draft with him after going back and. Watching him and as you know bulldog I call he's an arm thrower and that's what I said he's always been an armed. Thrower because his arm has been so strong that he's been able to do things other people can't he can get by. With just throwing a certain. Way without having to worry about. The technique of actually playing the, position that doesn't mean he can't it doesn't mean. He can't do he isn't willing to do it and, it doesn't mean that he's never had it it just means that to me when I watch him his line would have been so bad at times or he was playing with against the with competition or people around that work Good enough that he had to do. Certain things where I just got to get rid of. This ball it doesn't matter if my feet. Are set, are not gonna throw this ball, right now to that spot and. I think that's. Where a lot of his footwork. Was really came apart so in the NFL he can't do that he's going to have to learn to trust his. Foot work if he does that at the NFL level he's. Going to be in trouble and he's gonna have to learn to understand the finer points of playing the position I have protection here. Whereas my protection whereas, my, read I got a step there and I got to actually. Fit into a window that is much much tighter than what it was in college I just can't I'm I'm eager I don't. Think I'll be able to tell of course but I'm curious how long that process will take for him and Mike how. They'll feel comfortable in doing. That and then once if he. Does start playing whether they'll feel, they need to pull him back out because he's. Falling back into old habits says a lot I think, to to watch there all right so we'll let you go enjoy your hot dogs will all new questions at five o'clock okay.

"Which is put him on the field as quick as possible the let's see if. He can what he can do now I don't think that you should make any judgments good or bad Upon what, what he does. If he is on. The field very early but a lot of people are subscribing to that? Theory put them out as, quickly as possible so you know if you need to draft one two years from now I've heard that I've heard national people say, that and I don't. Think that's fair and look we've seen quarterbacks just start off and you know Peyton Manning. Or Troy Aikman and know even? Jim Kelly Eighty-six he wasn't great he would you could see a lot of flashes he didn't, have an. Unbelievable, year. But, we've also seen the. Other way the first two, games of Ryan. Leafs career he looked like he, was, going to, be really good and then after that he was horrible. And he busted out. Of the league so I think you have. To be very careful with how you make, judgments based on him playing early sound capacity on the AT and t. hotline with us he's live at Ted's hot. Dogs on union road and cheektowaga so the piece that. You previewed with us yesterday went up I think I saw it right, as you posted it like seven o'clock this morning and I. I, enjoyed it it was really thorough what kind of feedback. Have you been getting on that piece so far sell amazing that The, feedback has been well first of all people are, like hey. That's really good. Insight and. I appreciate a lot of really positive. Comments from my angle of you, know putting the peace out there which I want everybody to know this was not. An exclusive we talked about it yesterday there were lots. Of other reporters involved in this interview I just happened to take that particular. Article and narrow it down because I thought our listeners would enjoy it but you know everybody had access in that room to these same quotes that I put. Out there just so everybody knows as far as the actual. Quotes from Brandon bean it's funny to me what I learned, today is I think Josh Allen is still as polarizing my prospect in player as he was, when he was. Drafted when I didn't. Think that was necessarily as much the case that a lot of people? Started to think Feel the good things and see the good things about him but I learned today that if. People didn't like them they use the quotes from Brandon Beane today to cherry pick and make fun of him for example there was a national guy who quote tweeted my article I don't remember his name I'm going to go back. And, look you writes, for maybe the, Niners, and he said or, shouldn't say national but out there and he's he wrote something like wow, what a, horrible way to pick your, franchise quarterback did he slaps people's. But some behind pre-game well. Look I mean if that's. What you got from the article then you're just trying. To get that from the article that's not what he said he was trying to give examples of how he. Interacts with his, teammates and what's important about the leadership of the position but that's what happened today and a lot of different ways people cherry picked what they wanted to. To reinforce their own..

"Loser biggest loser what do we say what did i say in a production meeting dallas cowboys yeah i would say the dallas cowboys especially when they passed on really and in magnified today the fact that and says he's going to move on so now you need production from somebody else get jars waiting always gave for you in really is a guy who could play on the outside you still have these the on the inside if hers comes back then now you have a formidable affordable receiving core maggs i think you guys know the answer because doubts about it took the pick the buffalo bills allen i thought it was a complete mistake first of all peter king actually had some really good comments for brandon being the gm in his in his column today but i don't really care that a guy was calling you crying because of the stupid thing that he did yes i want him to be contrite but he is dumb even at fourteen and fifteen you know not to do that and to say those words and to make jokes like that i'm i'm being honest here i'm not just trying to be hard on him at fourteen you do know the difference there that is a word you cannot say so at worst he's baby racist at the best he's just dumb just dumb so i don't like that also the hand size thing please i can't get behind that that that's going to be the reason why he's going to be able to throw in the swirling winds up in buffalo i do not believe that and so when brandon bean is saying that it makes me crazy also they're talking about how he's going to be so good in this weather first of all he couldn't even dominate the conference he was in so let's stop there number two they're citing the snow game he played against colorado state.

"Gotten there but this is basically the one pick that's gonna either make reply actually when you didn't say it's your you said i didn't this this isn't an mp this is a y p so well so it's a risky draft but they also could have hit a grand slam with these two picks could be he could be better than patrick mahomes or dishonor throwing edmonds the linebacker was dj's number six overall player and dj called him a potential perennial all pro seems like a physical freak is exactly what that bills defense needed in the front seven i'm intrigued by what brandon bean has done and allen a little bit like blake bortles coming out i think who i was excited about coming out is if nothing else i think is gonna be fun to watch for as much as he's been dogged like he's a he's an interesting player to watch like when you see what he can do it's not like you're gonna be he's not someone i'm like oh i'm annoyed that i'm going to have to watch jiaxuan this year like good or bad i think it'll be kind of fun wish claybon was here because then we could have monto trash takes the trashier take from josh allen was lebron james sucks fhimah unbelievable he's almost neck and neck with mj was no he's not it's not premier aba analysis from josh allen the next quarterback off the board oh yeah you gotta go to pick ten so we ended up with four cubeys going up off in the top ten and this is a this is my favorite trade of the night i love that the cardinals remember at the cobb combine when st wilkes is at the standing at the podium and i don't know what do you guys think was with me but it just there seemed to be so much working against our zona and that moment in time you didn't have the quarterback you didn't have the coach anymore the icon coach and he was trying to fill those shoes and he didn't have the same charisma and he had all these holes on his roster and larry fitzgerald coming back but larry.

"The run down there on that catch the ball right so it's like impossible game to evaluate yet we have more people doing it which tells you that they don't know like they don't know they just want to have their own mark everybody has mocked grasp but they don't really know like okay like everybody's first reaction on twitter jets trade into three browns have picked quarterback the browns are locked into a quarterback now no no they're not think about this the browns have the first and fourth pick so the browns early dealing with two missing unknowns okay the brass could pick bradley chubb at one and then they markley for they could pick barkley at four or they could pick one of the three quarterbacks that they like or one of the four quarterbacks they like say they like them all the same say they like rosen they like darnold darnold mayfield and they're like now okay so why would they pick a quarterback at one when they can't get a better defensive lineman than chubb right they know the giants could pick up to that trust me even though there's no mock and everybody the says the giants love barclay trust me the giants grading system they like chump okay there's going to be trump's going to be high on their board so they can't predict that why would they pick a quarterback at one to me why would the browns bigger quarterback at one well then you let it play out itself if you like all those guys equally the let there's other guys make their determinations and then you get give whatever guy you get you just get him and you're fine with and that's how that's why you build a board that's why that's why brandon bean at the bills are saying like i haven't done enough work on these guys to really put them in a slot like he hasn't finalized the grade so if darnold sixty four okay we talked about this yesterday when we were doing couch tv today there was like it was like coffee talk it was good it was like the view it was like the view.
