"Well just step onto the field for a minute here. You know, one of the drawbacks of playing in a non power 5 conference is that Cincinnati games are not as widely televised nationally as a lot of programs. So I think a lot of college football fans know this team, but probably haven't seen them play all that much. So give us the scouting report on this team. What exactly do they do well? Yeah, so it goes back to that balance that we talked about. They have a lot of skill a lot of talent on both defense and offense. It's probably still especially internally a defensive mindset focused team. They have a really good secondary two really good cornerbacks, sauce gardener who is a name. It's hard to forget the name sauce. In heavy tracking and the sauce got to him. That's Gardner. Ahmaud sauce Gardner with the pick. And then on the other side, Kobe Bryant, a 5th year senior quarterback, one of the guys who used that extra year of eligibility. He's one of three Jim Thorpe finalists. For Kobe Bryant touchdown 73 yard mixes. So they have a lot of talent in the secondary kind of a really deep and aggressive defensive line that has allowed them to get pressure on the quarterback and kind of set the tone. And that's the way this team wants to be built under Luke fickle. They want to be built from the trenches. He always says they want to be an offensive and defensive line driven program. But on the offensive side, they've definitely stabilized on the offensive line. But the biggest strides have been at quarterback, the way Desmond Ritter has gone from this scrawny running quarterback as a youngster to now and all around dual threat quarterback who's developed into a much better passer and that's going to allow him to be a high round NFL Draft pick. They have Alec pierce at wide receiver, kind of the same deal. He's a guy who's just developed over the course of his time here and is an intriguing NFL prospect, and then Jerome Ford at running back who is going to go against his old team in the playoff. He played in Alabama for two years before Cincinnati picked him up in the transfer portal. And he's averaging 6.2 yards of Carrie. He has over 20 touchdowns this season, just kind of a real home run hitter who when you see him play, do you understand why he played Alabama when you see him run? He has that top tier SEC Alabama talent and it's been a huge boon for Cincinnati in the backfield. Well, speaking of Alabama and them being a really good program, the bear cats play against the number one ranked crimson tide on December 31st. Now, Cincinnati did beat a very good Notre-Dame team this season. But I think it's safe to say that Alabama is a cut above that fighting Irish team. What will the bear cats have to do to be competitive in this game? Yeah, it's only fitting right Cincinnati makes this historic underdog rise to the top to the CFP. And when they get there, they have to face Alabama. In the way the movie script goes, that's probably the way it has to be. It is going to be a tough game. I certainly don't think that Alabama is just going to automatically blow Cincinnati off the field, especially this year's Alabama team. We've seen Alabama beat really good college football teams and playoff semifinals in recent seasons. I don't know if this Alabama team is quite at that level. I think what will be interesting is Alabama can not play its best game and beat Cincinnati in the cotton bowl. I think Cincinnati will probably have to play about as good as possible to beat Alabama, but they are capable of that. We saw them play really well against George and the peach bowl last year a game they should have won. We saw him go on the road in South Bend and beat Notre-Dame by double digits. So if Cincinnati can play to their full potential, this will be a game and it'll be a close game they'll hang with them and certainly one that Cincinnati can win. The challenge with a team like Alabama is it's constant. They have so much talent, they're so deep. And if you have any slip up along the way, it can be tough to kind of take them down to the wire. So Cincinnati is probably gonna have to play a better game than Alabama in order to win, but it's not an impossibility in my opinion. And lastly, Justin, we talked about the blue collar nature of this team and coach fickle. Now that they're in the college football playoff and have this greatly elevated profile, not to mention an invitation to join the big 12. Do you think that they'll stray from the approach that got them here? That sort of blue collar recruit and local guys kind of approach. And emulate some of the bigger programs that they're now scoring up against? So this is I talked to Brady Collins, the strength coach about this for that story. That's going to be the key. I think the best thing that we did was embrace culture of this university of the city, whereas if you want something you've got to put in the work and then things are comfortable. I don't think they ever want to stray from that kind of local recruiting footprint. The city of Cincinnati and the 300 mile radius around it, they always want that to be the core of their identity from a recruiting standpoint. Even as they have made strides in Texas and Florida and Georgia in places like that. They've announced a $100 million fundraising campaign in the lead up to joining the big 12 to kind of get them ready to move up to a power conference. So they're going to have better facilities, their successes allow them to recruit a higher caliber player, but the goal for Cincinnati is how do we keep that same tough and nasty ethos mentality while upgrading and enhancing in all these areas. That's what's allowed them to be so successful under Luke fickle, and that's certainly the same mentality he's going to keep no matter what conference they're in or who they're going against, and I think the goal for Cincinnati is keep that mindset even as all of the things around you might upgrade and enhance. Justin, thanks so much for breaking all this down for us and if you'll excuse me now I'm gonna go find myself a roast beef sandwich. Absolutely honors, I appreciate you having me on. "Knows just how to play the coach game. Player for player, athlete for athlete. This conference in general rack up with anybody. You know, and I think so the opportunity to show that I think is what we got to continue to do to prove it to the rest of the country. But talking shooting the breeze with him, he is really loose and kind of a fun guy. I didn't know it was a gun show today, so I didn't wear my tank top, so I apologize if I had to know and I got a little heads up I'd have done some curls and it comes out in moments too. Like this video a couple of years ago when they were at east Carolina and won a game and the visiting locker room kind of had these rafters like low slung roof with rafters and some of the players were kind of jumping up and holding onto it after this last second win and fickle did it and kind of jumped up and was like holding on and everyone's going crazy and the team captured it and some video got out. And he actually reprised it this year after one at east Carolina because it kind of came this famous meme able moment. But when you see stuff like that, you understand why his players are so devoted to him and dedicated to him and why they play so hard for him because yes, he's very intense and focused on winning and motivated, but he also understands how to do that in a way to make it fun and enjoyable and support his players in any way possible. And Justin you recently wrote about exactly how Mark fickle has transformed this program. So tell us first about how he's changed the culture of this team. Look, culture is the word in any higher in any sport now that kind of gets thrown around. The coach has to come in and put his culture. But I think Luke fickle did that in a way that worked and players talk about. They called it attention training when he arrived in December of 2016. So then that winner when they started winter workouts, they were up at 5 in the morning and running out in the snow sometimes. And basically the idea was I'm going to find players who want to be here who want to be a part of that. So I don't care what your recruiting ranking is or how talented you are. You have to be dedicated to this. They've started this mantra a couple of years ago of tough and nasty and Clifton style which again, Clifton is the neighborhood uptown neighborhood in Cincinnati where the university is. I talked to Brady Collins, who was the strength coach here at Cincinnati and has been with Luke fickle for a long time. And he was like, yeah, we might not have all the shiniest stuff or the best locker room or the most intense player areas or something like that. That's not what matters. Yeah, we don't have the shiniest or the newest. None of that shit matters because if you take it all away, everybody is still working out. Everybody is still coaching and it's the same as anywhere else in America it's just how you do it and why you do it. So they really to start kind of sold that mindset and that mentality, embracing the city that the university is in and embracing the mindset of old school mentality of Cincinnati. Ohio is one of the better recruiting regions in the country. And so Luke fickle being in Ohio Midwest guy, like he definitely restarted that. They kind of went to this idea of hometown heroes and trying to build a fence around the city of Cincinnati. For years before that you would see some of the city's best and there's some really good high school football in Cincinnati and a lot of times the best players were going elsewhere, whether it was to other Big Ten schools or just leaving going to Iowa state or something like that. Luke fickle totally putting into that, they're still times where they lose maybe a top prospect to Ohio State or Notre-Dame or something like that. But a lot more of those three and four star players who historically would leave and go elsewhere. Luke was getting to stay in Cincinnati. That's been a huge part of their identity moving forward. And what about on the field like on the football side of things? How have Luke fickle and his staff taking this bearcat's team from good to great? Yeah, so that's one of the things he talked about, they had a four 8 record his first season in 2017. Since then, it's been 11 and three, 11 and two, 9 and one and now 13 and O, it just completely took off after that. But kind of in between those 11 win seasons when they weren't taking anyone by surprise anymore, he talked about. It's tough to go from bad to good, but it's even tougher to go from good to great. Luke fickle is a defensive guy. So it definitely started on defense in early those early success they had was very defensive carried defensive heavy. But part of that good to great transition has been bouncing out on the offensive side. Part of that Desmond Ritter, the quarterback who started as kind of this running quarterback who has really developed into a very talented passer. Ritter's first pass is a deep shot. He's got time in Scott and he's into open space. First through the year for Desmond Ritter touchdown bearcats. Anyone yards. Set the school all time record for passing touchdowns. They remade their wide receiver room. They picked up Jerome Ford and Alabama transfer. Here he goes again. Jerome Ford down the sideline. Foot race. Has gone touchdown 79 yards. And so as they've balanced out from a really good defensive team to now a balanced all around offensive defensive special teams unit, it's put them on the level of some of those top teams. Cincinnati and Georgia are the only two teams in college football this season to be in the top ten scoring offense and scoring defense. Earlier this week, we did an episode about one of Luke predecessors at Cincinnati Brian Kelly, who made a how should we put this? A very quick exit from Notre-Dame while they were still in contention for the college football playoff. How is Luke fickle been handling the many approaches that he has gotten in the last couple of years from bigger programs? And apparently, even from some proteins. Yeah, and it's been constant, honestly, probably since after that second season, the 2018 season, there's been outside interest from our conference teams from NFL teams, and it's grown Michigan state approached him after Mark Antonio kind of surprisingly stepped down in the off season. He turned that down. The Spartans, athletic director left without fickle in tow. Then this morning fickle showed up for work and a couple hours later tweeted out that he's looking forward to celebrating more wins with the bear cats next season. Notre-Dame opened just a couple weeks ago and that was always kind of a school that was viewed as a perfect fit for Luke fickle. But he was in the middle of this conference championship race and what turned out to be a playoff race and if you want to juxtapose Brian Kelly and Luke fickle, that's probably the easiest way to do it right there is Luke fickle has gotten a lot of attention, whether during the season or after the season, and he's always said he's not about chasing the money or chasing the next job. He likes it in Cincinnati, his family has a big family 6 kids. They're very comfortable in Cincinnati. All in all, I had to make a selfish decision, but the selfish decision was what was right for my family. And that is to be here to be with you guys and to continue to do what it is we've done. I think it shows the character of Luke fickle that he's like, this is what I'm focused on. So even if I'm going to ever leave and go somewhere else, I'm going to make sure I do it the right way at Cincinnati and him staying for 5 years, which at Cincinnati at the level they are at right now before they get to the big 12, that's an eternity. If Notre-Dame or Penn State or Ohio State or the NFL, if they want to make a big run at Luke fickle, since I is not going to be able to necessarily match that whether it's in money and salary or just kind of the resources and history of the program that he'd be going to. But to look pickles credit, like I said, he's not necessarily motivated by that. You know, he has motivated by winning and by continuing to grow the program. And I'm not one of those people who thinks Luke fickle is gonna be here forever, but it wouldn't surprise me if he stayed around for a long time, especially as the team is in the playoff this year, they're.

"Going going going compared to where when i first started going out there it's quite different and a good thing and it's interesting because when when luca the job that's the first thing that that a lot of his said the first thing that has to happen he's gotta go recruit better players and we'll talk about schematics. He has to get these players in better physical condition and they're all gone by now of course but that to me was the most noticeable drop-off from if you look at what luke trickles done to what he inherited just a level of physical fitness. How shape it seemed to be that. So many of those guys were that drastically improved. Maybe not from the last year of tubs to your one of luke fickle but certainly by year two. And now you're right you go out there and the old folks. They looked the part of the part. And all you can do as a coach is get every ounce of potential out of a particular player. I think use a fan. You would certainly agree. There is times looking at someone's barakat team you say. I know there's more here that that guy can give me more. He could be faster. He could be stronger but brady collins the strength coach out there. He's mickey morality disciple who played and coached played under He's done a fantastic job. Fickle good job and they looked the part. They've recruited which is number one and then once those players get there you gotta develop them and get them in that mindset develop. Their bodies develop their minds. I think they've done that. You talk about player development and you know you were talking about highschool guys. They're going to go watch. This is a crazy era because of the name image of stuff so from your perspective which has been involved in the sport for decades. You were a player you were recruited. You're around it now. The collegiate end the professional and the high school level. What what's this. What's the impact of this can organize in four or five years. That's a great question. I asked myself that. Everyday and king tell you definitively where i stand on. I will say this. So i feel like this conversation got started about eight years ago and it was this. These poor players. They play a game and they don't even have enough money to go buy their girlfriend a cheeseburger after the game. That's what it was. Let's give them a few bucks so they can go out and now we're talking about kids who even set on the campus with six-figure seven figure deals so it's quite a extreme jump that i think you know three years ago. No one would have ever guessed ever guessed that a guy like when you were going to not only take advantage of but forego his senior year apply early but already have an. I l. deals setup in place before even says foot on campus. It's it's an odd world. Is that a good thing. Is it a bath. Look obviously it's good for the kids. In that regard in these college kids are being asked to do a lot these days especially when the the playoff expands let me seem to replay in sixteen seventeen games a year. That's a lot I always look at it from the aspect of the locker room though. How does it affect the locker room. That's my biggest question is when you got eighty guys rolling the practice on their rusty bikes in a couple of guys rolling in in their cars. Should it look. I mean you could say that's the real world and that's the way it is and the guys who are you know the reason peyton. Manning made more money than i did well. Peterman was much better player..

"Had these guys from michigan almost every year going back to her strong gary and i bring that up because i think it probably adds to this perception of. Why aren't they better. You know harbaugh is recruiting these elite athletes at least at certain positions. But we're not seeing it. Play out on the field. Yeah i mean look three d lyman in four years and look last year. Eight hutchinson at a really injury short and twenty twenty So there was a little of that. But i think what it really is. They missed a lot at cornerback. They missed a lot at some. Positions quarterback has been underwhelming right And cornerback as good as defenses. Don brown had when they went up against ohio state somebody who had elite players on the outside. They really struggled even when they went up against michigan state. Michigan state has to pretty good receivers but they just look like they were lost out there now. Dax hill he could have made this list. He's a safety a special athlete. I don't know you know my sense on it from talking to people who've cooks to michigan was that they have missed on some some defensive backs especially a corner. I think that's a function of it. Eight hutchinson. I think you know it's not just people inside the michigan program it's nfl scouts. There are people really really excited about him and think he's going to have a monster year and think he's gonna tear it up at the. Nfl combine when he goes to that process If i was in in we talked about big ten media is a little bit but the thing that did strike me a little about being an indie Was the two players they brought in at. They brought three. But two of the guys aiden hutchinson josh. ross feel like they are really good leaders for what michigan needs right. I talked to josh. Ross for a little. While in one on one in indy one of these that struck me was the feeling of accountability that you kinda was oozing out of him about like because i asked him what happened against michigan state and you could see in his hands like it was almost like up into fist. How frustrated he was by what happened. And i think you can kind of get that vibe on the chip on the shoulder of aden hutchinson as well It's not to say that. They're all of a sudden. Finally going to beat ohio state this year or anything but i did get the sense that there was a level of pride in the guys that are leading the team that i'm not saying it was it's definitely been lacking but i feel like they know it wasn't good enough and they're going to do whatever they can to fix it now. What does that mean in. Twenty twenty one does that mean they go eight and four is i mean they go a ten and two. I don't know right now. 'cause obviously they gotta get better on offense but i think they also have to find a way to deal with people in you know when they throw the football whether that means they're eight and hutchinson is is just dominant and causing all kinds of havoc for in the backfield or the defensive backs aren't giving up a ton of big plays. A lot of pi's is i think that to me that is like one of the biggest challenges for new dc. Mike mcdonald there so in their early. You know topics they hit on that. I say early on you know the reaction you're getting. Is there any particular name who people are like. Oh i'm so. It's so great to see this person on here and widely recognized him or opposite. How could you not have such and such aren't. Unfortunately i was in the car so i had to run a to go into fox to do something for a little bit so i have not been in the comments much to see. Who did i miss out on. This year are not The the the reaction a little bit. Like i feel like i could get an honorary degree from lenora. Lenore rhine which isn't north carolina. A few years. Kyle duggar on their. Kyle duggar ended up getting drafted high by the patriots and freaky athlete. And kyle duggar was the one who actually told me about Agai had on their last year. Who when i talked to those coaches. They think that this is another one is really special. And i had Got a really cool photo of derek young by the way tariq rhymes with freak A huge six two two fifteen receiver vertical jumps forty three and a half inches. Broad jumps. Eleven three just a guy that Know i feel like this list is kind of made for And so a lot of people at that school you mentioned yukon. There's a lot of it's funny. 'cause there's a lotta uconn. Football people were very excited to see travis jones And there's a lot of cincinnati people who are happy to see three bearcats cats on the list. And i could add more in fact when i ran into desmond. Ritter out here in california a few weeks back. I asked that we talked about freaks. Lesson desmond reuters on the freaks list. He has a four zero shuttle. Which is crazy fast for any position And i asked him who has who would he would have and I didn't exactly go with his top choices but It's you know you're you know you're really good when you have that. Many legit guys with those kind of athleticism so i feel like cincinnati has really really stepped up a little bit and You know they're brady. Collins is a strength coach. sarah's clearly done a really good job because they have upgraded the athleticism in that program in a huge way from before when luke fickle took over some other news to address the arizona. State recruiting scandal continues so paul weeks ago Ataman brennaman tight ends. Coach was placed on administrative leave being connected to the recruiting of violations. That are being alleged now. On on monday they have now added wide receiver coach skill in. Db coach chris hawkins to pay administrative leave so training camp is underway. Asu is now down. Three assistant coaches at of course makes you wonder who might be next. Okay so what's interesting to me is adam. Brennaman was the first one who was really put out there in terms of he initially when he was a jay. J's don't make hardly any money so the idea that adam brennaman was bankrolling some of this seemed implausible if not downright laughable And then the two other assistants who are also starting out their careers as you mentioned. Both of those is to think that they were were masterminding. This situation on causally scheme. But that's what it feels like from. You know from the reporting doug and i have done some of the people we've heard from and so the idea that these three guys at the beginning of their career not being paid much money would be the ones funding all this and orchestrating. This does not add up. And so the people. I've talked to around arizona state and i think doug is heard similar. Is that people. Asu are hoping these guys will be. The fog is essentially little pin. It on them and that asu which there's optimism that they're going to that they could have a really good year this year that this shiro play out and then at at some point that the ncaa will weigh in on this in in a direct way and then all of a sudden who can who can they keep in in positions of power will be herm edwards still. The head coach will be antonio pierce the defensive coordinator who's basically from what we've heard a lot of is kind of the defacto head coach of the program and ray anderson the ad in reported. Jean boyd the number two in the athletic department who oversees football gene boy..

"Valid question. Because what happens if the A C C just covert related? Hold it spike or cancel the SEC title game. Clemson and Notre Dame are both locks. No one's going to jump them. So you already have two of the spots field by the same conference. And that's $12 million coming back to the conference. So then. The pressure's on Alabama. Right, because then Bama, you gotta beat Florida because what happens if Obama loses the Florida? Is it? To SEC to A C C. Was Ohio State factory. If I'm the A C C right now and cancel the SEC title game. Both of your teams are in the national conversation. You're both in the top for the college football playoff. Big 10 just alter the rules so they could get their team there. Make sure you're taking care of Then we talk absolute chaos. Florida wins Was bam ago. If Obama wins and Ohio State struggles with northwestern Texas A and M dominates the rest of their schedule. What happens? All kinds of things, madness will ensue. Man. Out of all that. Sit back. Say, How is there? No path for the bear Cats. Power. How can a team be penalized for dominating every chance they've got? There's no love. I've said this numerous times you CF claimed themselves national championships. That was a good UCF team. They dominated. You see, I'll give it to him. But they won by outscoring people they won was smoke and mirrors. You see the top 10 defensive team. There are phenomenal offensive team. They got one of the best special team units in the country. Arguably the best punter in the country. I'll say one of the best coaches in the country, one of the best, if not the best defense of quarter in the country. One of the best drink coaches in the country, and Brady Collins. And yet, you Penalize them. And move ahead of them A to Los Iowa state team. That lost in their building on their home field. Louisiana by 17. Why? Because they beat West Virginia. We honestly going to sit here right now? And think that Iowa State would beat you see in a football game this year. Not a chance. So it's not about the eye test. It's not about who's the best. It's about the big 10 or the big power five taking care of their own. And until that changes, and they allow someone else to the table or until they expand the college football playoff, you're going to see the same thing year in and year out, just penciled in for next year. Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and we'll see who the fourth this That's sad. Gotta get two or 7 30 break on the other side of the break. "No, you see is running themselves like a power five program. They are running themselves on the recruiting train. Physically, they look the part. And they're doing so on the field as well. Let's talk more about the bear cats. Let's do so with a cholera quick Rick calling from reading Rick, what's going on? County that no front on me. You can take the boy are reading writing out a boy. That is correct. I told Jeff our producer has got to make sure the screen calls if they come from reading tonight. When you going to be the coach of reading high school, Man, that's a tall order now. I mean, I got I got the UC football train rolling. I get to talk about Joe Burrow for the next 10 years. That's a tough decision to make right now. Who are you know, I think they lost a lot when they lost getting my can't. I do both. Can I talk Bangles, Bear Cats and coach ready? Teacher. I'll discuss it, then I'll discuss it. What's going on What you're thinking about the UC football team. I'm just grabbed on TV tomorrow. Not only on TV, ABC big time. Yeah, that's awesome, man. Yeah. This this team and The trajectory. I think it is now taking off, too. Okay, we need to dominate and be on top of the American Athletic Conference, and now they need to be a household national name and To their credit, and this goes to the credit of Luke Fickle and Marcus Freeman and the players. I think they're more of the national household name right now, which is a huge step forward. You know, I have a really hard percent because I can't tell you what their defence is a top of the line. Yeah. And look, I appreciate the car. I'll talk about the defense. Um, 2009, Fresno State came to Cincinnati and ah They had Ryan Matthews and their offensive line when you looked at Fresno State. Man, That's a that's a power five. That's a that's A That's a big boy offensive line. You see, went to Michigan a couple years ago, went to Ohio State last year. You're like man that that's the big leagues right there, looking how physical These guys look And I was I was watching and and and down on the field for pre game last week against Memphis. I thought to myself. This is now. Physically Power five team. That gives credit to Brady Collins and the string staff. It gives credit to the recruiting and the coaching and the players that have all bought in. This isn't easy to navigate around covert and still be As dominant as this bear Cats team has been But physically they looked the part I made. I made the point this week on since he 3 60. There are no gimmicks with this team. There are no smoke and mirrors and a lot of times when these teams outside of the Power five conference make a run at the college football playoff, they've done so with gimmicks they've done so with outscoring people or trick plays or Ah, the tempo. This team does it the way a power five team would do it. Not the best defense in the American Athletic Conference, one of the best defense in the country. Or better on the offensive line. They have a strong running game. More talented receiver Dez Ritter looks comfortable and they have the best hunter in the country and James Smith. They have all the pieces. And when all those pieces come together like they have you see the product that this team has bean number six in the country. You don't have to. You don't worry about recruiters coming in, so you don't want to go to you See, the coaches won't be there like they did with Brian Kelly or Butch Jones or Mark D'Antonio. It tickles here to stay. Marcus Freeman is here to stay. They're building a big boy program. That doesn't rely on smoke and mirrors that doesn't rely on gimmicks. Just good, hard knows football. Can you honestly tell me that there's a team in the country that's going to consistently go on 10 play drives against the bear cuts? Not a chance. And and and I will not stand by will not listen to. Well, they don't belong in the college football playoff because they'll just go in and they'll get beat. No, no, no, no, no, no. I watched Notre Dame get their doors beat in. I watched Ohio State Get the break speed off them in the college football playoff. I've watched Oklahoma get embarrassed. I don't want to hear what would be a bad game. It'll be now boring. It'll be a blowout most times when a one seed plays the four seed, it's supposed to be right one speed so as to be the best team in the country. Don't tell me they won't compete. I know they wouldn't quit. Don't tell me they wouldn't be competitive because I've seen a lot of other teams not competitive in the Final four in the national championship game, not here to listen any of that. I am here to make sure I followed the break times of this show, which I'm going to do right now. The Arnell carriers sports talk show presented by our forensic Kelsey Chevrolet, hopefully I'll be back after the break. I made a promise earlier on that the only political comment that I would make on this show was that of Tommy Tuberville. Can't make any promises going forward Joe Biden might take over this show. Take with that what you want? Hopefully I'm back on the other side of the break. Stick with us right here on 700 wlw theme.

"Yeah, that's what counts. Coach. Well, good luck against this way. Thank you. Thank you guys. Tennis. Thank you. And thank you for not asking me for my bench Press is there on exercise that you consider to be no particularly revealing. I mean, you mentioned the squad, but is there something that you really want to know about these guys? Well, I I think the unique thing for us is that Why To me. One of the greatest things we've done in the program is there's a great connection between what we do is coaches and what coach Collins does. It has nothing to do with what they bench. It has nothing to do with what they swap. We are developing football players. We're not trying to win weightlifting contests, and I think That to me is unique. Something out of the way. Coach is it to get around one of post all their numbers and one talk and we do that. Don't get me wrong guys love that They know they get motivated by it. But our number one thing we got to do is make. We gotta create football players, and we're not into the weightlifting. And and so sometimes a guy like James Wiggins. I see him do a squat fest and I see him put £600 and squat and I would. Well, I don't want to see him ever with more than like £400 on his back. He's plenty strong enough. He doesn't need to be a strong We need to continue to get flexibility to continue work on his lateral movements and coach colleges right on with that, And that's why I think we've got such a great thing going that the connection between what we do down there and what we do on the football field. It has a lot more to do with making football players. Not even the 40 yard dashes, which everybody loves to talk about. We let them go worry about that. When you go to the combine, were about trying to see how we could increase the functional speed the lateral movements because football is a game of acceleration and change direction. Sports writer Bruce Feldman comes out with his freak list every year. The top 50 freaky athletes in college football, and James Wiggins has been on that list. Each of the last three years. He'll be gone at the end of this year. So I asked Brady Collins, you're Her strength and conditioning guru prior to the season. Alright, who is going to be the next bear cat on that list and I was maybe a little bit surprised. He said. Alec Pierce would be his Number one person he would have in mind for that list next year. Yeah, there's a guy that's the combination of all of that. I don't know that you're going to see anyone. Rep. Max on the bench or even one, You know. What does he squat? But what is he A. Zahovic? His straight speed to his No 38 3. I don't want to short him anything vertical jump to just the size. You know, he's a 210 £215 kid. Not sure He's got quite the acceleration that the great Jim Kelly had at one time, but he is really got another year. He's really working towards that. Really. He's 63 and that vertical he Khun. When we saw him last year, go up many times and take the ball away from the defender. I know he is. He is very Gifted, very talented works at it, too. But it is one of those guys that you know that is a physical presence. You know, if you don't remember, I think a year and a half ago he was playing linebacker removed a moving line. Remember that we'll get trial weren't really sure exactly where he was going to fit because he was such a specimen in size, right, But obviously he's found his niche and where he belongs. Good topic introduced by our buddy Dennis. We do have phone lines open 513749 7000 or toll free 1 800. The big one will continue with coach fickle in just a moment. This is the Luke Fickell radio Show on news radio 700 wlw. Tonight With Gary. Jeff. Longer your seats ready. He's even wiped it out for you. Tonight At nine on 700 W. El. They had a great crowd for their return show just a few weeks ago. And their main event a four-way match for the Palmetto championship wrestling heavyweight title Drew Adler the champion returns earlier than a year had surgery to repair his hip. Is he a hundred percent? He is here Aaron to go. He's going to be defending that championship against Anthony Henry J D Drake anything case. Here's the thing. We don't have the odds in from Vegas yet. But this is going to be the odds are stacked against Andrew Adler definitely stacked against him. You're talking about three guys off JD drugs are former PC W heavyweight champion former w n heavyweight champion and Henry former pwx heavyweight champion in case former pwx heavyweight champion. Joe. Adler does not have to get pinned to lose that Championship on October 24th anything can happen and that's a four-way match that quite possibly off if the Carolina professional wrestling awards had matched the year quite possibly. That could be a definite Contender for it will also see if fluff man the newly-crowned soda City Champion if he's going to make his first title defense there in October 24th. Haven't got word yet on that waiting to see more matches announced here in the next 2 weeks then moving to to November three shows we know about so far away were seventh pro wrestling Union returns to the Union County Fairgrounds. This is where they held their tag team championship tournament. No fans. They're allowed their fans will be allowed for the issue. Although tickets are limited to title matches said to be announced you got all worm. No solder team of Joey Ford and Brady Collins defending those championships against in a glorious who was another team that was involved in that tag team tournament. To be honest. If you had the heat Seekers is the number one contenders in that tournament and glorious probably was number two e And so I'll warm know so their first title defense is no break. It's no rest for the weary. It is going to be a tough match. They're against Inglorious and then Randy Wayne keeps on keeping on defending that pwu Heavyweight Championship. His Challenger on November 7th a man. That's no stranger to that region of no stranger to championships and Thursday is cauliflower Chase Brown Chase Brown trying to add another championship to his trophy case and Randy Wayne. "Veteran who has been around this area for a long long time chance risers somebody who has been making more and more appearances. That's a big win by chance risers trying to move his way up the ladder and independent wrestling here in long lines in Georgia, and it's a big win for him over Rock Hill Joy. Next you had one of the how do I say even say it one of the most mysterious competitor Georgia and the Carolinas Jackson saying defeated the future Nathan cross snaked across as somebody again starting to Branch out a little bit starting to make more appearances and it was Jack insane who won the match in not not a very covid-19 Lee way as he spit that red, Miss. Who knows what's in that read messages? Is where it comes from but blinded night and crossing and got the victory. You had two guys who were very familiar with each other. I don't know if their paths had crossed in singles competition, but tie-dye Sunrise James Johnson defeated locally hated Chris valo. Chris values getting ready to make appearance up in Tennessee for school of Morton valo. Also heavily involved with the office Midland championship wrestling wrestle for said o s c w and here part of you know part of game over here in a PW and they made their presence felt this card you had the APW tag team titles on the lines that the Champions all warm. No soul. Hey, that's to tag team titles that they have collected in them very brief time together. They defended defeated high-profile the former Champions and I'd be I'd be interested to see how many times high-profile have had held those titles. That's a big win for all warm. No soul. I mean High profiles been around they've specially been around Chester for a long time their main stays there and for Joey Ford and Brady Collins to get that Victory, that's that's big for them and not only going to boost their confidence moving forward. And in the main event you had to APW Heavyweight Championship on the line Eric darkstorm who had ended the really really long reign of zuka King Kong King had a had a disa death grip on that championship for a long long time Eric darkstorm won this match by the disqualification when Chris valo interfered James Ramsey came out from.

"Goes on you do you try to prepare the best you can for the future you know sooner or later this thing's gonna end but you know you think about a about sports and we've been you and I've talked a lot about it obviously your background being what it is and and and I'm a big fan and you think about what what are these these players do when we talk to Kyle Rudolph a little while ago about what he's doing to stay in shape but you pointed out that Hey these pro athletes if they can afford to buy a home gym right but what if your nineteen twenty year old kid playing football for in this case you see how do you how do you heard those kittens right exactly it's a tough thing and also added I mean college age kids as you well know you were once in college I was once in college need more structure than a grown adult us write me a structure and that's what I mean college football is is reverses the NFL schedule was college was mean that times ten because you believe a college kid one little sliver of of empty space in the day because that's when all hell can break loose but especially when it comes to making sure these athletes these college athletes are ready to play when the season hopefully starts and hopefully will start on time I thought I'd be a good idea to bring in Brady Collins he's the head strength coach for the university of Cincinnati bearcat football team in and talked a little bit Brady how are you you guys are you guys doing we're doing great does so Brady but if this is a big challenge for you man how how are you guys dealing with it there are many mineral everything that kind of comes into your way you kind of try to stay positive it's kind of hard to do given the circumstances but you know for us this is another thing another coaching point another life lesson of adversity Tom that we preach in our program daily and you know it's just we were fortunate that could fix you know caught wind of this right before we broke for spring break and was able to get the staff together and devised a plan that you know Hey you know if we don't come back in a certain amount of time to get ready for this this and that and you know it's been it's been different because we never fell out of our guys and we love seeing him every day we love being around a month training in love watch and play football and all that but it's it's been unique it's been challenging but you know we were still operating just like we were different facility talking with our guys every day chicken and all the making sure the body which are good there nutrition's allowing now and given the workouts and you know what fortune we still have a couple guys probably about thirty plus still on campus so those guys are kind of in a different situation but it's a it's a unique thing but you know what I mean everybody's going through it you know it's gonna it's gonna you know kinda alleviating kind of show which programs are average good and great I think there's no question about it but the Brady just take us through your day in instructing some of these kids are managing your hearing of few weeks once summer hits I'm going back to my college days and we left Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday right you're taking classes you're doing all that but how are you let's say it's it's Monday morning here in in the players you want to get upper body lifted Howard what's the program look like and how are you translating that to the athletes here again it was unique with the whole situation of you know the the quarantine in the timing we were able to get for really good practices in an integrated we got a great team coming back we have a lot of guys that played a lot of football we get great leadership but you still got a a plethora of young guys that you know really needed that spring football but again today we feel good with what we got in but you know that break happen we're on spring break the quarantine hit so really ideally right now you know it in a different schedule would be you know we got one week left you know fine tune in spring break in corrections and still training and then the guys about another week and then their break for you know schools over to another couple weeks until they come back for summer training but if you need to tell you what I mean we try to keep things as as are consistent as usual I'm up early I got my you know twenty to twenty five guys that I stay in contact with daily and then beyond so fourteen I got four other full time assistants that work with me I have another group of guys and they check in with them and you know we structure the workouts very similar to how we do back in the facility just obviously knowing that we got operate a little differently because you know certain people might have you know home gym it might have a couple set of dumbbells it might have some some of their service some of mine have nothing and you know the NCAA's allowed us to **** band so all of our guys that aren't on campus not a state okay guys are on campus take care of them provide you know quicker than to use but you know we're trying to keep things somewhat similar but also I want to kind of challenged them and make it a little different so that's not the same thing that they would be doing but you know keep it very similar to how we do and decide you settle for a four day you know going running and lifting on Monday Tuesday little agility and after Wednesday's a recovery day in and Thursday more conditioning and lower finishing Friday with some upper and you know obviously they're doing condition meetings and getting some opposition working there as well Brady Collins head of football strength coach at the university of Cincinnati join this Brady as you just mentioned every school every college is in the same boat here but do you as a coach worry about the durability level of the players without getting again I'm talking hardcore weight lifting with all the millions of dollars of equipment that are at your disposal at her at every colleges disposal do you worry about the athletes not being ready at all to worry about injuries at our what's your mindset around that you know I think first and foremost my my main worry for these guys is just are they OK one because you know we're we're such creatures of habit and routine and you know preaching reaching to these guys because you know I you know especially at the next level you wanna make the next level you Richie has got to be a lead so just trying to keep them you know kind of in that as well but understanding the circumstances within the country but you know it's interesting I I talk with my main mentor close friend ten labor leaders almost every day he sent any updated articles on you know comparing injuries from the and NBA and NFL lockouts and how those you know transpired and you know I think at the end the day it's all about you know what what you preach inside that way remote you all truly trying to get our you know you try to get the biggest and strongest no power lifting the ball players in the world will that's great but they got to play football league I mean my my main job is to prepare these guys to the mental and physical rigors of the most violent amazing sport the world that's football and you know yeah it does kind of make use not second guess we just got to reevaluate your plan and you know the time frame of when we're all going to be back together you know when the starter campuses and all those kinds of things but I don't think it it changes anything postoperative work we do and how we do it it's just you know understanding the timeline that we have now and you know we have great faith in the guys in our locker room that the cultures that they they understand how and why we train and you know we we feel pretty good right now yeah I I guess I'll just I'll close by saying this I have to mention in your shoes you are going to find out a lot about your guys right you're gonna find out which are the ones that are the best self motivators which are the what which are the guys that really love football versus just the guys who love of football brings down right because now you're on the road you're not sitting there with them every day saying do this do that they're kind of on their own so you'll find a little bit about your guys once you absolutely you know I mean that's one of the biggest coaching things I say almost daily whether it's off season in season everything is only one person that can impact and make the choices in your life you want to do and that's you so when you look in the mirror every day if you put everything that you have to do to get yourself better then you're going to be in a better situation will no doubt this no this current situation kind of heightens that you know but again one of my mentors said it best you know brought up the the quote of the man in the mirror you can live your teammates you can you know live your coaches but you can never lie to the man in the beer so it's definitely been exciting to see the guys really attack and have fun with it S. and P. O.'s pictures and all that stuff but I mean no doubt we're dealing with you know nineteen to twenty two year old kids and you know you got Netflix and Xbox and all those things but you know it's just again where we feel good about you know where we're at as a program the guys inside our locker room in the culture that we still sustained we feel pretty good.

"Do think that two comes with significant risk I, think to song of low is the highest rate versus reward pick. We've seen in probably a decade. Agree Yup. The upside is absolutely there what he's done on film has been incredible I mean. His season was not that far removed from Joe Boroughs last year, and he couldn't complete it, and that's the part of the problem that I think is where the risk comes in, and it's not just the hip. It's both angles. ankles had surgery on the last three years. You know he did break a finger. His knee was bothering them at time before this hip injury, so he has been plagued with injuries but I think in today's game where you don't have to commit fifty and sixty million dollars to a first round, NFL quarterback pick. Pick. It's worth it, so I think from that standpoint. I'd say you know what even if we get a healthy quarterback, it's going to be a fifty percent proposition I mean look at the quarterback went one and two Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota. Those guys didn't have any injury concerns, and neither one of them are with their same teams anymore. So what so what if there's risk for an injury? Take your swing Adam and if he hits, you're gonNA have a massive home run, and if you miss, it's not that much different than if you had. Somebody was healthy and just didn't pan out yeah Danny. Kanell is joining us. You know it's funny about this. You and I have opinions and I. Don't expect people to always agree with my opinions, but I'm paid to give him, but there are times. I give an opinion and I get pushback and I think. Are you people crazy? So I'm supposed to believe Bill Belichick the smartest guy in football. Who's manipulated players referees, the League coaches. Everybody doesn't have a plan, so he lets the kicker now. Who still has legs in him? He lets his two best linebackers go, even though he loves linebackers, he doesn't go after a bridgewater and Andy Dalton although there obviously better than what he has. and. He's got twelve draft picks. He's going to get three. Compensatory draft picks next year for Brady Collins and Van Noy right so my theory on this with ballot check it's not tanking. You can still maintain your cultural integrity. That's last year. Miami really built an ice culture without winning a bunch of games so next year. He's GonNa move a lot of his picks in this draft next year. He's GonNa have as normal picks. Picks his compensatory picks and next year in the draft. He's going to have twelve or thirteen picks. He's GonNa play these quarterbacks. They're going to be below five hundred but competitive. They'll be seventy, nine, six and ten. They'll end up with eight or nine draft pick and he's going to call. The first or second team doesn't need it like if the bengals are bad, Joe Burrow and say I'll give you nine picks, can i? Pick I think he's got a complete plan. Which is get rid of some guys, a kicker quarterbacks not that he got rid of Brady. It's not that he's taking. He is maintaining integrity, but he's trying to bundle all. He's got twelve picks this year. He's trying to bundle them for next year with the ability to give a team eight to ten picks to get a top to pick 'em I nuts. I don't think you're crazy. I don't when I look. At the Patriots, they've historically been very patient. They distort never overpaid for players. They've been cheap and I. think that's what you're seeing in this off season. It's no different I. Don't read too much into cutting cutting a kick or what I do, read into is if they will out, you know week one and it's Jerry or Brian Hoyer Cody Kessler as their quarterback. Then I'm saying there is no way this team is planning on making the playoffs or intending this year. This is the play for the quarterback next year we're going to be. That will be out there. That will be available, and even if you're not three and thirteen, or you know the worst team in the NFL. At least you'll be in a position where you won't have to move up that far Maybe you're competing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. You know who knows how Gardner is going to be. They're not going to be that good, but other teams might be in that running are all going to have? Have the quarterback position pretty much shored up. I do think if they go for Trevor Lawrence. There will be competition, but think the value that the Patriots should recognize from having stability at the quarterback position for twenty years. That is something. No other team has had the way they've had, and it's no coincidence. That's why they've been so successful so I do think the only thing that I would say comes into play is what part? Part does ego play how much ego bill belichick swallow to possibly have a worse season than Tom? Brady would have with the Tampa Bay bucks, but that's the only hang up that I would have enough and I think again it goes back to the patients and long-term plan, and think about the areas where Bill Belichick has been ahead of the curb using analytic. Having you know scouting advanced scouts advanced analytics, being ahead of the. The curve? I think this would be one more area where he was would have the foresight. Say you know what we can endorse. These and we almost have an excuse. It's no more Brady we don't have that. Many weapons and I still think they'll be competitive enough where it doesn't look like an outright. Thank and then they'll still be in a position where teams will want to move off some of those spots because their quarterback. Play. This bill knows he's going to be in competition next year, but if he walks into the draft with fifteen picks. He's the only guy that can give up ten so if I'm Cincinnati and I'm bad and the number one pick with borough. It doesn't matter if I hate Bella. Check if everybody else can offer six, and he can offer ten. You're taking New England's offer so bill. I think bill's GONNA load up next year's draft with I mean this year. They've got twelve I. Think he's going to move several next year. And then the compensatory picks Brady Collins and Van Noy Bill knows it is a race to get justin fields or trevor. He's going to have the most AMMO. He's going to have fifteen picks, and let's be honest if Trevor Lawrence. You don't need the other fourteen. because. You're not paying trevor by the way because you can go into the free agent market because you won't be banned your quarterback anything. I don't know I think it's obvious. Be Bills an idiot or he's got a plan I. Think I know which side I would take given those two options Danny Canal by the way love to have him on stick around by the way over the next month because we're going to have you on as much as we possibly can. "Analyst Does College Football. One of my favorite guys Danny Canal joining us Via a sponsored by Mercedes Benz the best or nothing. You know I was saying about Travis. Frederick is that everybody will look at that and say Andrew Luck and Calvin Johnson and Luke Kiki and Travis Frederick they retire. It's bad for football. Danny I look at it differently. I look at Danny Kanell. I think to myself the football window of hitting should be fourteen years old at twenty nine. Unless you're a quarterback you don't have to sign a contract because you get so much money now wants. The football window is twelve years of hitting and not twenty eight and the League rules change and there's less and there's less hitting it practice. I duNNo. I Look I look at Travis Frederick and I'm like this is good news for the NFL. The great player can walk out of here and not have to go into his thirties. Because he doesn't have the money your thoughts on it. I agree with you. I think it is a good thing for the NFL. The fact that players are able to walk away earlier than they did before you know. It's interesting because even when I was playing fifteen or twenty years ago. Almost every player that I played with had a number a number in their head once I get to X. amount once it's ten million fifteen twenty million dollars then I'm gonNA walk away. Look at the amount of money these guys are able to make before they're thirty and I know it's hard for fans to grasp and I'm not saying every player that's out there. I do think there are some guys who play for the love of the game but there are. There are a lot of players who play as a means to an end and once they reach that means they can walk away. Mike you said they can do it before. They faced significant injuries and significant health risks long-term. So I feel bad for God because I do think guys out of this group some of these guys. You mentioned like Luke keithly. He was a football like meathead tight because he's very smart but he's got loved the game of football. They tried to tragic same boat. I think these guys live in love the game of football so I hate to see them have to walk away but I love the fact that financially. They're able to separate that in. Make an independent decision and say you know what? I'll be fine financially for the rest of my life now. I can make a smart educated decision. On what's the best thing for me and my family and a Lotta Times? We're finding out that sooner. Rather than later. They're able to walk away but I agree with you. The shorter window is better for the long term health of the game. Yeah better imagery. When these guys walked to the hall of fame podium not wobbly and hobbling they walk up their full of energy look like how robust and dynamic and they're smiling and they're laughing or Jason Taylor joys brother they walk up and you're like God. These guys look unbelievable. You don't want wholeheartedly guy walking up to the podium gives you sad imagery now. Speaking of injuries I think it's I'm not even going to give away my rant. Which later on too. But I think you're I earn the same boat. I I believe in sports and in life. Aggressive winds smart helps. But it doesn't win. You can go to the best PREP SCHOOLS. But if you're passive or you're frightened of your own shadow you're not gonNA really ever hit it out of the park. You gotta be willing to move cross country. You've got to be willing to take stabs at stuff. I would draft to I would. Would you know in cut? GimMe your summation of what you think he is. And would you draft him if exactly what you're talking about? What is your appetite for risk and I really think he's GonNa end up with the Miami Dolphins because the dolphins are in a position where they almost have to take this rip. They have to assume that but I do think that two comes with significant risk. I think to Asanga below is the highest risk versus reward. Pick we've seen in probably a decade totally agree yup. The upside is absolutely there. What he's done on film has been incredible. I mean his season was not that far removed from Joe Boroughs last year and he couldn't complete it and that's the part of the problem that I think is where the risk comes in and it's not just the hip it's both angles Ankles had surgery on the last three years. You know he did break a finger. His knee was bothering them at time before this hip injury so he has been plagued with injuries But I think in today's game where you don't have to commit fifty and sixty million dollars to a first round. Nfl quarterback pick. It's worth it. So I think from that standpoint. I'd say you know what. Even if we get a healthy quarterback it's gonna be a fifty percent proposition. I mean look at the quarterback went one and two Janus Winston and Marcus Mariota. Those guys didn't have any injury concerns and neither one of them are with their same teams anymore. So what? So what? If there's risk for an injury take your swing Adam. And if he hits you're gonNA have a massive home run and if you miss. It's not that much different than if you had somebody with healthy. Just didn't pan out. Yeah Danny Kanell is joining us. You know it's funny about this. You and I have opinions and I don't expect people to always agree with my opinions but I'm paid to give him but there are times I give an opinion and I get pushback and I think are you people crazy so I'm supposed to believe bill. Belichick the smartest guy in football. Who's manipulated players referees? The League coaches. Everybody doesn't have a plan. So He lets the kicker now who still has legs in him he lets his two best linebackers go. Even though he loves linebackers he doesn't go after a bridgewater and Andy Dalton although there obviously better than what he has and he's got twelve draft picks he's going to get three compensatory draft picks next year for Brady Collins and Van. Noy Right so my theory on this with ballot check. It's not tanking. You can still maintain your cultural integrity. That's last year. Miami really built an ice culture without winning a bunch of games so next year. He's GonNa move a lot of his picks in this draft next year. He's GonNa have as normal picks his compensatory picks and next year in the draft. He's going to have twelve or thirteen picks. He's GonNa play these quarterbacks they're going to be below five hundred but competitive they'll be seventy nine six and ten they'll end up with eight or nine draft pick and he's going to call the first or second team doesn't need it like if the bengals are bad Joe Burrow and say. I'll give you nine picks can I pick. I think he's got a complete plan. Which is. Get rid of some guy's a kicker quarterbacks not that he got rid of. Brady it's not that he's tanking. He is maintaining integrity. But he's trying to bundle all he's got twelve picks this year. He's trying to bundle them for next year with the ability to give a team eight to ten picks to get a top to pick 'em I nuts. I don't think you're crazy. I don't when I look at the Patriots. They've historically been very patient. They've historically never overpaid for players. They've been cheap and I think that's what you're seeing in this off season. It's no different. I don't read too much into cutting cutting a kick or what I do read into is if they will out you know week one and it's Jerry or Brian. Hoyer Cody Kessler as their quarterback. Then I'm saying there is no way. This team is planning on making the playoffs or contending this year. This is the play for the quarterback. Next year we're going to be out there that will be available and even if you're not three and thirteen or you know the worst team in the NFL. At least you'll be in a position where you won't have to move up that far Maybe you're competing with the Jacksonville. Jaguars you know who knows how Gardner is going to be. They're not going to be that good but other teams might be in. That running are all going to have the quarterback position. Pretty much shored up. Do think if they go for Trevor Lawrence there will be competition but think of the value that the Patriots should recognize from having stability at the quarterback position for twenty years. That is something. No other team has had the way they've had and it's no coincidence. That's why they've been so successful so I do think the only thing that I would say comes into play is what part does ego play. How much EGO would bill belichick? Have to swallow to possibly have a worse season than Tom. Brady would have with the Tampa Bay Bucks. But that's the only hang up that I would have enough and I think again. It goes back to the patients and long-term plan and think about the areas where Bill Belichick has been ahead of the curb using analytic. Having you know scouting Advanced Scouts advanced analytics being ahead of the curve. I think this would be one more area. Where he was would have the foresight. Say you know what we can endorse these and we almost have an excuse. It's no more Brady. We don't have that many weapons and I still think they'll be competitive enough where it doesn't look like an outright thank and then they'll still be in a position where teams will want to move off some of those spots because their quarterback play remember. This bill knows he's going to be in competition next year. But if he walks into the draft with fifteen picks he's the only guy that can give up ten so if I'm Cincinnati and I'm bad the number one pick with borough. It doesn't matter if I hate Bella check if everybody else can offer six and he can offer ten. You're taking New England's offer so bill. I think bill's GONNA load up next year's draft with I mean this year they've got twelve. I think he's going to move several next year and then the compensatory picks Brady Collins and Van Noy Bill knows. It is a race to get justin fields or trevor. He's going to have the most ammo. He's going to have fifteen picks. And let's be honest if Trevor Lawrence. You don't need the other fourteen. Because you're not paying trevor by the way because you can go into the free agent market because you won't be banned your quarterback anything. I don't know I think it's obvious. B bills an idiot or he's got a plan. I think I know which side I would take given those two options Danny Kanell by the way love to have him on. Stick around by the way over the next month. Because we're going to have you on as much as we possibly can danny before the draft. Thank you I love catching up all right coming up next. Why you've gotta be careful watching. "Bella check folks is not winging it. He's got a plan. He's manipulated officials. He's manipulated game plans. He's manipulated opposing coaches. He manipulates everybody in the League. You think he's just winging it. This dude got plan for lunch. You think he's winging it. Think about this. Who has the most picks in this year's NFL DRAFT MIAMI? That's right Brian. Flores used to be a patriot. WHO has the second most picks in this draft? Oh. Bill Belichick. He's a patriot. Stumbled into those. Oh, my Gosh, we got thirteen draft picks. Where did they come from? Both have a plan. I said this last year. Joy As my witness, we both said this, even when I would the dolphins at one point they were in September and everybody was banging on him and join. I went out and said I love what they're doing. They're playing their butt off. They got rid of a lot of good players, but US remember we said. There's being bad and there's being bad with a plan. Miami was bad with a planet. By the end of the year, they won five of their last nine games. Think about this. Belichick has twelve graphics. For this draft. Next year they're going to get a compensatory pick for Brady Jamie Collins And vanoy. They're going to move these picks to next year's draft several of them because they have automatically seven, the compensatory is give them minimum ten. Maybe eleven eventually they'll move two or three picks dad from this draught where they have twelve to next year's, and they will have thirteen fourteen picks in next year's draft. And Two, great quarterbacks coming out. Cincinnati is going to be bad. Let's say they show up. End Up with the number one pick. They're not gonNA take one Joe Borough. Bill calls and says. You want nine picks. You Think Cincinnati is GonNa turn that down in a division with Big Ben Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield in those rosters. Cincinnati gets their quarterback this year. They're going to turn that down. Ballot check got a plan. The plan is moving Hicks. He has this year to next year. Going into next year's draft with as normal picks, his multiple compensatory, a handful push to next year, having twelve to thirteen or fourteen picks willing to give up nine. If they go six ten lose a lot of close games maintain the integrity of their culture in a draft with the two best college prospect since Andrew. Luck they don't have to be the worst team in the league. If Cincinnati's the worst, they're not gonNA take nine picks from new, England, if the giants are the worst, and they'll be bad. They're not gonNA. Take six. They, don't need to get trevor. Lawrence could get justin field. They just need one of the two. They. This is amazing. This is not difficult. They don't need all their picks this year. They're going to get compensatory for Brady Collins Van Noy. They're gonNA move a handful of picks this year to next. And they're going have eight nine picks. They're willing to give to every team above them. In the draft that already as a quarterback Arizona could be bad. They're not gonNA draft. Another quarterback Cincinnati giants could be bad. They're not going to draft another quarterback. You don't think the giants or the bengals Arizona wouldn't take eight picks from New England if the Patriots finished six and ten and calling say want a quarterback. Kyle Murray needs help. Daniel Jones needs help Joe Berle's GonNa need help many of the bad teams next year. Except Jacksonville, they'll draft quarterback many of the bad teams. Have a quarterback, the saturation point in the NFL quarterbacks. There's just not many teams that need them and three to four of them are going to get one this year. I still contend. The idea that Bella check doesn't have any plan for next year. It's just he's just. The kicker. They release him. They don't go after any quarterbacks. They let their top two linebacker playmakers. Go, and you think they're just making it up. This idea you gotta get over tanking. You gotta get over. It's not like Bella check goes out and designed to bad. Game Plan Bella. Check goes into a game knowing we're limited this year. I'm going to position ourselves next year. We're GONNA. Fight like mad, but if we're seven nine and six thousand, ten thirteen fourteen draft picks not everybody above US needs a quarterback in fact. Ask yourself right now. After this draft, the charges will get there's. We know that the Bengals will get theirs and Miami's getting. There's. Look around the league outside of Jacksonville and New England. WHO's desperate for a quarterback? There is at one. I mean again. Chicago's tied up in foles his contract, so they obviously they can't bail on that in a year. This is not a difficult one right, you think either Bella checks dumb or has a plan. Which one do you think sounds right? They're not winging it here. So exciting. GotTa Get a maintain my love for New England. Just a little year hiccup. Market goes down briefly POPs back up in New England. It's all very good. "I can see here right there. You will not see you will hear joy Taylor Because obviously with the virus weren't a different situation where we are. We are string in this puppy together. It's unique but I'm driving to work. Every day. Word of Spartan crew. They're kicking butt taking names. Enjoy Taylor how are you? I'm doing great. How are you calling hanging in there? Danny Canal Howie Long. Joel Klatt Matt Moseley Funny Guy. From DALLAS STOPS BY TODAY. So here we go. We got a great show a ton of topic. So I'm going to go But ten minutes here I got a couple of things on my mind number one. Travis Frederick is an all world. Nfl Player he retired at twenty nine years old. I think that's great for football that he had a great career doesn't have to sign. A contract. Leaves a hall of Famer made a bunch of money. I'll get into that later. What does it mean for deck first of all this great the best center in football the last two years the cowboys? Rankings WITH TRAVIS FREDERICK YARDS PER. Play number one when he's gone twenty-second sacks second fewest allowed in the NFL. When he's gone second most allowed he is a rock star and Dallas is. Oh Line we've said this for the last year it's not a revelation is getting old. Tyron Smith entered the League at twenty. He's an old twenty. Nine Zack. Martin is excellent. He's an older twenty-nine it's starting to deteriorate. This is the first sign for a great guy who retired at the perfect time. This is what I've been saying about that Prescott teams in leagues salary caps. Get bad fast when they signed good players Dak Prescott to great contracts. Joe flacco Ravens Great Organization Gray Roster signed a good player. Joe flacco to a great contract. They weren't the same for three years. Brandin cooks with the rams. They'd get rid of him tomorrow. Good player great contract for his skill. Set You can't do it in salary. Cap Leagues you can get away with it if you're the Yankees maybe the dodgers. Maybe the Red Sox can't get away with it in hockey basketball and the NFL. Kate we have never the supreme example. That's why Russel Wilson gets the money. Because I've seen Russell Wilson carry battle lines from mostly year one in the NFL. I've seen him carry average receivers. I saw him last year. Carry the seahawks when the running backs all got hurt. That's why when there was a question about Russell Wilson Pete Carroll and John Snyder signed in in an hour I've never seen deck Prescott anytime. An old line gets hurt. Anytime Zeke is suspended pre Amari Cooper. I've never seen him carry the team last year. Patrick mahomes led the chiefs in the playoffs. Inrushing the last two games. Forget his passing. He led them in rushing. I seen Russell Wilson Aaron Rodgers. Carry bad defenses. Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs to Shawn Watson with a lousy running game and a terrible offensive line Carson Wentz last year deckchairs Lawn Furniture Got Philadelphia. The playoffs you cannot play. Pay Good players. Great money I more than ever I wanNA franchise Dak. I WANNA see him now without the best center. He's still got a great receiver. He's still got a great running back. He's still got the game first second or third best left. Tackle it still a top ten offensive line though. It's not as good now but you. You can't do this. You cannot do it and so and I liked tech. I've said this before I like him. But there's a reason every time somebody gets hurt or suspended DAX numbers go down. He does not have the ability to take average parts and elevate them that defines Russell Wilson that defined Russell Wilson is. He's never had a great old line. He's Never Top Five O. Line I mean. Last year they brought was it. Last year. They brought marshawn lynch out of retirement. I mean come on. So it's when people say well you know like deck. No I do like him but to pay him. Thirty SIX MILLION. I gotTa Love Him and he is never shown an ability to carry. And this is why Patrick Mahomes and Carson wentz in Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson into Shawn Watson. I'm GONNA pay him. Whatever I'm GonNa pay Gimme the check lenny. Seidman all pay him early with deck now. I'm more inclined than ever to wait. Let's see what he can do because he still has. Zeke still has tyron Smith still has that Martin still has Amari Cooper. He's got a super bowl winning head coach. Let me see what you can do. When you don't have everything perfectly aligned. My guess is not as good. I want to shift to this so I have opinions and I don't expect everybody to agree with him. In fact it's probably more fun if you don't always agree with them I don't think I'm a contrarian I I tend to see things through a business perspective although I am you know. I'm pro mobility. I'm pro mobility for players. Not because I love all the players because I think my business standpoint all Americans have the right to be mobile. So I'm going to support Kevin Durant. I'm going to support a Lebron James. I'm going to support great players baseball players. Mookie Betts going Boston to Los Angeles. I support all players all the time having mobility. Because it's good business. I don't even have to like the guy. It's good business but sometimes I have an opinion that I think is obvious and I don't get the pushback it's like you people crazy. Let me ask you right now today. Tom Brady's no longer a patriot. I'm going to give you two opposite to options bill. Belichick has a plan or bill. Bella checks in idiot cabinet. Go with the former. He's got a plan so yesterday. They released kicker Stephen Gostkowski. He's arguably the second or third best kicker in NFL history. He's got years left to kick that they also will not pursue Teddy Bridgewater who I love. And Andy Dalton. Who Don't but both are far better than their current quarterbacks. They also let their two best linebackers two most productive linebackers go. It's interesting. It's almost as if they have a plan. It's not you're not gonNA tank. It's not tanking did Miami. We called it tanking right but in the end can build a culture without going seventeen. Sixteen in Miami built a great culture last year and started terribly. You think. New England's cultures going to erode because they lose a bunch of games twenty-seven twenty-three now because they have the worst weapons in the league and Jarret Stidham and don't even have their kicker Bella check. Folks is not winging it. He's got a plan he's manipulated officials. He's manipulated game plans. He's manipulated opposing coaches. He manipulates everybody in the League. You think he's just winging it. This dude got plan for lunch. You think he's winging it think about this who has the most picks in this year's NFL draft Miami? That's right Brian. I went out and said I love what they're doing. They're playing their butt off. They got rid of a lot of good players but US remember. We said there's being bad and there's being bad with a plan. Miami was bad with a plan by the end of the year. They won five of their last nine games. Think about this. Belichick has twelve graphics for this draft next year. They're going to get a compensatory pick for Brady Jamie Collins and Vanoy. They're going to move. These picks to next year's draft several of them because they have automatically seven the compensatory. Give them minimum ten maybe eleven. Picks in next year's draft and two great quarterbacks coming out Cincinnati is going to be bad. Let's say they show up end up with the number one pick. They're not gonNA take one. Joe Borough Bill Calls and says you want nine picks you think Cincinnati is GonNa turn that down in a division with Big Ben Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield in those rosters. "In the fall is F- picked up by Michigan stakes genuine watts Jackson no may fortman no more Dan did did you push this up to it did you do the loss today the menace yeah it is October sixth the evening of at least Patriots Subscriber I for the rest of us it is October seventh thank you for joining us on menace to the Midwest and what a weekend of Midwest Football Oh yeah the Buckeyes with a huge win huge win I I would I guess you would say significant win I don't think so well I think we beat Cincinnati I think that's a pretty big win but that no one talks about yeah they won't they won't talk about that but you know it was it was a great win for Ohio State a great you a great challenge for Ohio State on offense because Michigan State as as a solid defensive horrific offense but but at the end of the day you don't say at the end of the day but at the end of the evening it was it was the game for for really Ohio state it was a great test for a bigger test and really set the tone for their season and a lot of people were talking about they are the best team in the country or now they're now they're relevant but here we are but bigger news in my opinion bigger Midwest News how about the Cincinnati bearcats the fighting Luke pickles yeah taking fix took down USA national Champs the reigning National Champs. I have I have I've done nothing but praise Luke fickle as a football coach since we started the show I will I will continue to do so because he's one of the finest human beings I've met he's as fine of a football coach as he is human being and the proof is in the pudding he ate has he is he is that Cincinnati team looks so well coached which ultimate ultimate question right is not like oh good are they they're they're really good I mean but at the end of the day when you look at Luke fickle and the job he's doing they are extremely well-coached they're tough they're well prepared Brady Collins the strength coach has them they look like a big time football team and they went and took down the mighty National Champs National Champs yeah they I mean they looked really good and and UCF I mean that's two losses in a row i. UCF might be looking for a new head coach hot seat hot seat in Orlando Cincinnati looking like that might be their only loss to Ohio state yeah well they I mean I I will tell you this As Cincinnati progresses and and continues to look how they look this week that's going to be a further testament to how dominant of a of a win and how good of a win that was against the team that is not your tip atypical nine no power group of five yeah or power five team yeah that's what I said after watching that Game Ohio State beat the Best Group of live team out there I'd be hard pressed to I I would love to hear an argument of WHO's better than Cincinnati outside of the power five but My favorite thing about the game probably was the troll job by Cincinnati because if you guys saw put out yes if you for those for those that didn't see it and the reference was it was the magic kingdom the Castle Orlando for central Florida as well never mind that Central Florida held their national championship parade at Disney and so cincinnati after they beat them put out like immediately so it was very quick and they put it out and at the bottom it says and it said you hate to see it it was perfect it was phenomenal awesome by them what a what a great win for Cincinnati a great win for Luke and and I will say this now just be prepared for him to get a big time job and it might not be after this season it should be but you know the politics of hiring coaches and turnover you never know how it's going to go but he won't be there longer than the next two the next season which is it's sad for Cincinnati because you wanna see a coach be there for a long time well I mean we could go into the politics of it but the reality is when Cincinnati didn't make the cut when they when they when they broke up the biggie Cincinnati didn't make the cut which is that was the end of Cincinnati like trying to push to become a really good job yeah I mean you look at it and that I think if you're Cincinnati you have to know that that's kind of what you are you're a place that up and coming head coaches Goto to solidify their resume to prove themselves and get a better job I mean it's not ideal but if you look at Dantonio Brian Kelly these guys Butch Jones over there for one you're two three years and then they move on Yeah what the good thing is if you want success you hire a coach that does that and then moves on and you got what you got you you got what you want yeah exactly you have to be just laser focused on getting the coach because he missed one time and you're just done well it's what happened to him they missed out because they weren't as relevant as some of the like the Louisville's that made it in the ACC your how how did that happen but anyways just a big win for them and before we get into the Ohio state game another huge game I guess on paper as was the top twenty matchup Iowa at Michigan man that was neither team should be that high ranked I'm I don't know if either team should be ranked well I mean you can't say that was four no they should have been that they shouldn't be anymore well that's what happens when you play football is you lose a game and you you show you grass and then all of a sudden you're not what they thought you were but they definitely should have been ranked I mean they were four no but I will tell you this it was it was legitimately a battle bad quarterback play it was like as you watch the game you're watching and saying my God these two quarterbacks are horrible who is going to be worse and let me tell you is the worst of the two nate Stanley graded out the lowest player on Iowa's offense and he was he was I think hold on was great about twenty eight percent of cheese and so we're clear shape patterson was not that much better yeah it was bad the other problem that Iowa found themselves first of all what it really was was a Kudo Saddam Brown he got that defense playing I mean he they played better than they played all year and Iowa couldn't pass bro gave up I eight sacks they allowed twenty three rushers on fifty four total plays almost half of their past plays the quarterback was under duress so Kudos to Don Brown what a what a game plan what a ex- execution by their defense but it wasn't just the throw game it wasn't just the past ro IA ended the game I'm with one rushing yard wow this is Iowa Iowa like this is like Wisconsin junior yeah that's what I always one rushing yard that's ridiculous and it was the whole the whole game the game started off and it was like Oh boy this is not going to go well for the undefeated Hawkeye's because they they shut down Michigan on the first drive in Michigan was awful in offense the entire day and then the running back sergeant fumbled unlike the first or second play on offense after that and gave it right back to Michigan and you're sitting there like Oh boy and as the game progressed you're like this is bad but yeah I really wanted to talk about is this whole Iowa Wisconsin and they're different in some aspects but this archaic offense they run this I formation they have fullbacks and they have these offense that most people here here's here's how bad it is right Alabama to run this offense and they abandoned it Alabama has the best players in the country if they abandon it you should oh absolutely unless you can't get the skill players to run the other kind of offense that sounds good I'm with you but all you can get is like six eight three hundred and twenty pound guys to come to your school he might as well run behind him that I mean that's all well and good they've never the Iowa's the Wisconsin's and even Alabama back when they were the pro style like under center offense and had poor quarterback play you you can't tell me I find I mean Russell Wilson went to Wisconsin. You can't tell me you can't find a quarterback or you can't aberdares went to Wisconsin he was a great college player you can find those kids Shit every year watches the NFL draft look at look at receivers in the NFL it's not like all of them went to Ohio State Florida USA Clemson no there's there's kids from everywhere you can find kids but it's a it's a philosophy and what blows my mind is teams line up like that on first and second down it's like under center twenty one personnel so t to to backs and tight end or maybe two backs in two tight ends or maybe one back in two sided whatever just big people right under center run the ball they do that and they try to make a living off of it and in Iowa obviously failed that running the ball for one yard but what blows my mind is it's like all right I down second down all of a sudden it's third and five and it's like what do you do now it's like oh here's let's get in the shotgun shotgun time we're GONNA go four wide shotgun and it's like what how how how can you be any good that you are not you live eighty percent of your life on first and second down it under center twenty-one personnel hand the ball off play act hard play action how can live in that world and then be good in those situations when you get in the red zone or thirty six and you have to throw the ball you have to spread 'em out you have to you have to spread defense out how can you be decent in those situations well it's the same thing people used to get mad urban Meyer for not going under center it's like we don't practice that we don't do the center thing so we're not doing it like if you practice and only go under center than trying to change to a spread option just because third and eight it doesn't mean you're not going to be proficient at it equal or lesser opponents and that's what Alabama faced they would dominate people and live in that world and then they would face someone that could match up with them and like Oh what do we do now do now and I mean Iowa was six of seventeen on third down which is not like the worst day you've ever had on third down but it is not good good and it was really bad Michigan's offense was not any better now they couldn't run the ball their whole office of game plan was finally throw it up to tall wide receivers and it's like we were talking about it yesterday and it was like just do it every play that right that's if that's what's working do it more because they were the Utah about six to seventeen is bad michigan was three of thirteen on third down shape patterson is being the biggest disappointment when it comes to hype and performance this year across the country as has by far as has jet Josh Gattis yeah I mean embarrassing yeah I mean he only completed fourteen passes of his twenty six I mean that's you know just above fifty percent and he only had one hundred forty seven yards through a pick no touchdowns I mean he he just he's not what you expected that's for sure he's certainly not what they said he would be the best quarterback in the big ten I'll tell you this as a professional which Josh Gad is a professional right here's paint a lot of money yeah he he has had jobs a bunch of big time school sounds good there's there's one thing that you don't normally do and that is pop off at the mouth there's another thing that I have not followed the first rule when I when I was a football coach I certainly did not keep my mouth shut but what I always said was whatever you whatever you say if you wanNA publicly say something or do anything anything like that you'd better back it up absolutely and boy is he Ellen on that second point it's not pretty and it's it's not a lack of skill like it's not like he's at a program that doesn't have the skill to perform no not going well in Ann Arbor and and they will tell this is a big win somehow some way but the wildest thing and I'm GonNa play it right now for you was boss post-game quote about their offense and how it's going so I wanNA play that right now I really think we're hitting our stride I really do they're hitting their stride okay I'm sorry I can I can't I heard that after the game and I can't just not say something about it hitting Your Stride tackles for loss one hundred six in turnovers hitting your stride that type of delusion we'll get you fired so when I heard that I was like Whoa having your brain my goodness the delusions arbor wow I don't know about you.

"There's nothing more pointless than the NBA all star game with the way, the NBA is these days, it's probably closer to what the core product is actually hard pass hashtag not for me shameless. Fifty one fifty tweets in fans vote on underdogs and personalities hashtag book it. It is Friday. If you want a book at hashtag book it at junior at ESPN radio my complaint about the fan vote for the NBA all star game that has Derrick rose in as a starter right now over James harden, and Russell Westbrook. Fan vote on underdogs in personalities. I missed that in the last few years when the fans voted on good players to be starters in the NBA all star game. And I don't want to turn this into me versus Derrick rose is I don't care enough about Derrick Rose's spot in the NBA right now to really fight that battle. It's not something that concerns me because I'm concerned with the best players being rewarded with spot in the all star game and the obvious ones. Like, there's plenty of stuff that we can debate. We do it all the time and mostly I agree. Most all star games are meaningless. But this idea that we're going to sit here and acknowledged that James harden, Steph curry Russell Westbrook, like goes guys aren't the obvious picks over Derrick rose. You're going to try and tell me that. Smirke pants again fan votes for people. We like to watch why not just use those metrics to choose because watch ability matters are any of you really watching Derrick rose all that much is Derrick rose really doing it for you in that way out think, so it's first and last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and the ESPN app, we're presented by progressive insurance callers. Join us on the shell Pennzoil performance line. And you can tweet us you can book it on a Friday here. We only have two football Friday's left. So have you got a football related hashtag book it for the weekend? You're hot take multiplier who'll sauce on the end of that. And honor of. Our penultimate football Friday. At ESPN radio Adam junior Fifty-seven, but the world of football was not without some bit of interesting yesterday. As we get you ready. We got a preview for the AFC title game coming up in just ten minutes Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots came out yesterday and surprise surprise had some words of praise, but listen to the one story in here that I'm going to tell you has ruined more NFL careers than it's helped definitely the greatest the greatest player awhile time. Not just. Quarterback in my opinion, because he's such a leader in the locker room for someone w age of some of the players to be able to lead like that in connect like that and have the work. Ethic that he has and at the same time so pleasant to be around. It's. I'm really the luckiest guy in the world. And that's all fine and good. But in the body the larger body of that sound Robert Kraft retails that story that we've all heard about Tom Brady, which is Tom Brady. I remember he's like I remember him when he was the skinny kid walking down to me and Gillette with the pizza box. Looking up at me and saying I'm Tom Brady broadcasters to that point is fourth on the depth chart. I'm the best decision. This organization has ever made. You know, how many guys that's gotten cut years later. Tom Brady Collins shot like that that's part of the folklore. It's built into the Tom Brady. The fabric of what we love about Tom Brady. You know, how many other morons have gotten drafted in the sixth round on down and walked up. I'm sure at some point to a coach and owner and said something like I'm the best you've ever made coach we're going to take this league by storm coach all these things on down the list, and then they dropped three balls in their first two a day practice and get cut a week later. That is given so many people false bravado. Like man, you pull that. I I love people that have confidence in themselves. I don't love the trend that because I guarantee you that is put more people on game. They don't have. Then it's done the opposite. First and last Michael junior here on ESPN radio and ESPN app. So Robert Kraft praising Tom Brady all day long. That's not surprising. Well, was a little surprising. This pro football hall of fame quarterback Brett farve every once in a while both roofer takes off his jeans long enough to give us a competent football take. And the other day. He was asked about the eagles quarterback situation and gave response that. I thought was interesting because is empowered other people to go forward with this. I heard this actually on the show yesterday will Cain one of our fine host here at ESPN radio. Using this to help cosign his take that the eagles should think about shopping Carson Wentz because Brett farve agrees. No disrespect in all Carson Wentz. I think he's he's already prove. Even that he is a great quarterback totally different than Nick foles. Nick foles to me is is more of a a Brady s type quarterback. You know, very very limited in what he can do. But very very good. And what he does. He's a he's a pure pocket passer. And he's he's great addition it out, and he's proven that he's clutch. It's about winning. It's about being clutch. Doing really what you expect your players to do. And he he does as well as anyone. You know? I mean, the old saying dance with the one who bring you again. I don't want to come across as is knocking Carson Wentz at all. Because I'm not I think a lot of him. But I would go at Nick foles as just one gigantic with all due respect sound bite there. It's first and last Michael junior here on ESPN radio. And here's the thing Brett farve. I respect the obviously hall of fame all world career that Brett farve had, but we need to not do this thing where we mistake someone's greatness in one area for being prolific in another area like talent evaluation. Like man, we can all fall victim to the winning bug in a lot of this. And you sit around and mentioned Nick foles in the same breath is Tom Brady. And any regard seems to me at red flag in here. I mean, again, we'll do the we'll do the same thing. No disrespect to Brett farve who is played forgotten done more done more in football than I can think about in two lifetimes. Also. Doesn't make him. Make great understanding of talent evaluation talent projection for these guys going forward. Hell they pay. John Elway to do that in Denver. And he can't get it. Right. That's his job. John Elway another guy done done more for forgotten played one more football than I'll do in two lifetimes. But can't can't find a quarterback. So I'm not going to say that just because Brett farve is cosign take the now, I should be more inclined to believe it. Carson Wentz is still the dude in Philly. We still know a lot about Nick foles and a lot of it just falls right above that average marker. I'm still inclined to bet on the guy that I came here with and by came here with I mean, I got in the draft and intended to live out my life with coming up next weather going be damn near bombing in Kansas City this weekend. We check in with Andy Reid shorts next on ESPN.
