"Boy, you know, if the Yankees have to play in Toronto without him, that would be a huge story considering everything that has gone on. Go ahead. Yeah. Another COVID season buster one way or another. I thought we were kind of past it, but this Toronto issue itself makes this a COVID affected season. All right, Jake arita announces yesterday he's retiring from baseball. What's his legacy going to be? Well, he had one of the great Cy Young seasons ever. He had a stretch there buster. I'm going to be close on this from like July until April of the following year where he allowed he hit more home runs free than he allowed to think about that for a second. He was so dominant during that period, it was absurd. You remember those that year buster when he struck everyone out. He didn't walk anybody. He gave up no runs like all the time. It was unbelievable. And to come from Baltimore where he had performed poorly, they questioned all sorts of things about him, including his manhood for him to go out there and be great for that stretch of time and pitch for a World Series champion is pretty cool, but I will remember the day I was in spring training with the Orioles and Brady Anderson, the mischievous Brady Anderson, you know him well, buster said, hey, Jake, Tim's here today. Why don't you show them how you can walk across a room on your hands. So Jane Carey had a guy on his hands, walked across Clubhouse on his hands. I don't think whitey Ford was doing that in the early 60s. I'm not sure I've ever seen a pitcher do that. That was pretty darn impressive. Man. He was. And I got to be there when he threw his no hitter against the Dodgers. We had that game on Sunday Night baseball. That was a fun broadcast and remember seeing his joy after that game. And I remember, you know, as that game is going along after two innings, I told Tom archer because it was a play early in that game. You remember, it was like a chopper hit to the second baseman, and it was scored an error..

"Roka not ham crooked chicken. Not like anthony only monsters. I think even monsters this. We'll put it on the poll at lebatardshow. Does anybody not like and bananas. There are a number of things that i want to get to with guillermo because the marlins season is sort of lurching to a close season ended lake three weeks ago. Dan single game yes wasted. Are you going to watch their ability to ruin the phillies season at the end though they've got a chance to ruin the phillies season with the last three games. That doesn't interest you in any way. No i have. I have a life i have things to do. They don't if they don't care about writing this team. Why should i care about following nothing so you didn't either get interested that hey sue. Sanchez made a barehanded catch in the outfield. The first i've seen of those since. Kevin mitchell did it put this on the poll as well at lebatardshow. If you're catching a fly ball with your bare hands have you certainly misplayed it and don't get to have it be a great play because i thought when kevin mitchell did it. It's one of the greatest place i've ever seen but buddy misplayed it. He did misplace caught a fly ball with his bare hand and hazo sanchez. Did that the other night. No interest in that either. Not even the not on now. I could see that on the graham though and save myself three hours exciting. I mean they're hitting home. Runs are doing stuff for like twenty games under five hundred with like twelve to go that he mean. But you'd like to be a spoiler that's not you don't have time for that. They have seem to develop a hitter. Brian delacruz looks like he might be a guy that they can rely on hitter. Ma'am trying to find the develop a traded for him. I'm not develop. I'm just saying they seem to have come up with a guy that we didn't have a couple years ago. That seems like he might be a middle of the guy. That's exciting the thing that i wanted to ask you gear is as you see yell at church and stanton playing meaningful game. Stanton's to hit a home run. Yesterday he hits the ball harder than anyone who's ever played hit a ball or gallows right there by okay but you say he's right there but i would say to you to counter that since they started tracking these things stanton has thirty seven balls hit off his bat that had been one hundred eighteen miles per hour or faster and the rest of the sport has twenty eight. That's crazy so and gallows in there with the rest of the sports. I'm telling you that what i saw yesterday. Ziadeh line barely over the third baseman head and it went like forty rose deep and and it was just hit straight. Online stand also leads the league in staring at a ninety five mile. An hour fastball. Right down the middle. Because he's guessing. Yeah i'm being a sour puss dot. Can you smile. Would it kill you. Lead the league leaving his bat under shoulder staring at a ninety. Five mon- fastball. Right down the pipe. You don't have any more of the wounds from seeing your guys do important things emotional and all about that now. And and by the way yellow buzzfeed him boss bad. He hasn't been good for years one big year. Yeah one big year suspicious grand keep up now so we lost saturates sill forty we lose that trade it seems like it was like a mutually bad trade for everybody all performers in hockey but about the marlins former catcher didn't he have a big hit for the phillies last night. I don't remember his name. Elliott j make the argument that it's actually worse. What yellow under the brewer like brinson never gave us. The brewers thought they had the best hitter in baseball. It's almost better to be brinson. Never even bet you more angry at yelich than we are at princeton. Yeah let's just brady anderson. I liked this theory. The whole it's better to have never loved to have loved law. Egg don't arrive star as a five tool hitter. Hit or can you be a five. Yeah and then go away you can give me a five tool player hitherto racial a five tool player five is one of the county. There's things scrappers. Yeah sacrifice dinger's duck farts bunce or not one of the tool low. Yeah tool discipline. Wait disciplined members. They're wasting opportunities. I believe that we've been doing this. Show damn near twenty years and stugotz. And i have argued about any number of things but i would like to nominate that the argument that you and mike just add that i will I'm going to in. I'm going to quote directly. I'm going to recreate it with no differences in the words that were said. I believe you are just on the wrong. End of the most lopsided argument in the history of this show. Mike ryan uttered the sentence. He won an mvp. And you said yeah but and nothing else. Well how many barry bonds win. What did that get him. No rings not in the hall of fame. That's not the argument. The argument ended with you. Just saying yeah but and you didn't say anything and he doesn't have to say anything individual. Mvp's dan standing got one of those what to get us. Nothing got shipped off to another team. Yellow one. I don't see any banners in in the whatever the hell they call that place. Now or bernie brewer slide down the slide. Got him nothing for bob. Euchre's gonna die without seeing them. When champion billy and his christian yelich his fault i mean he does up twenty homers of the last two seasons after having that mvp sees in any been injured. And he's got no he wasn't he wasn't good this year. That's there's not the fact that they left here. Is there before with him. Not being that good. It's strange if you want more of billy's baseball analysis your friday night can unspent with him. Chris cody and mike sure. And i am promising you that mike sure roy will be there as well. I'm sorry roy. I did not know that you were going to be there. You weren't there for the last one. My apologies so friday night on youtube mike the the big draws its red sox yankees and mike sure thinks it's not going to be entertaining to watch him suffer with every pitch he's an insane person. Okay he's simply saying he doesn't care about anything in the world. He cares about this the other day. I put him in tim. Kirch non conference call. I put the phone down for forty five minutes. They just could not stop talking about baseball. Every every nuance mike. Sure is dying stugatz with every pitch. That's thrown in a yankee game. He's sitting here. He's sending texts to people when a two one pitch is called in favor of the yankees and he's showing you a sending you the strike zone. He's nuts and he doesn't think it's going to be entertaining to watch this and i'm telling him that it's going to be entertaining to watch him as a red sox. Fan suffer playing against the yankees now for those of us who are into a lot of entertainment will add number. Be there anything can happen. Dan how do you put people on conference calls. Do you just hold to iphone together. Walkie doggies sixty nine cellphones. Just merging calls feature. Yeah the one thing you know how to do on that phone right in terms of like if you're going to expand on that you can put two people in contact with one another. That's i'm telling you. There is a south beat session. One time where we just let sherline kirk and talk. I i don't know what's going on with. Espn me no came on with us. I hope we'll be joining us next week. Spn the worldwide leader has graciously allowed for the forbidden door to be opened the thawed relations. That's it i asked for me. And they gave us me. And i ask for courage and they gave us ira j. I mean things are appetite for friday. Said no would you go through. The same names is it. Is it a net. And he said no Yeah i'm going to ask..

"Gwynn all star games up until nineteen ninety nine. But yet atta here at klesko rhonda white adrian gonzalez And justin upton as well so now. They've they've got a handful of position players but not necessarily sorters in the all star. In retrospect david did the padres thinking. I know you say no sure things but the the padres think themselves that when they gave machado that money and all of us were like. Why are the padres. Think they're a piece away. Is it because they felt that was this now. Know when they traded for tateishi they did not know what he was at all and neither did the white sox or else that trade never would have happened. They chatted because they've got a step child. Scenario going the way. The mets do at the yankees. They have that with the dodgers. They're so jealous of the dodgers of what they have from a revenue standpoint. What they have a fan base standpoint what they have from an onfield success standpoint that those owners ron fowler and the new control partners guy named pete siedler i think is his last name and They just wanna be the dodgers and you've seen what the padres have done. They do a lot like what the marlins did what we did. They load up. It doesn't work and then they break down and then they load up again and we did a lot of that so there's not been a lot of consistency and don't forget. It was only a year ago that we were talking about. We'll myers and eric hosmer. What a waste of money can we trade them. They're totally overpaid machado. Getting million too much getting blake's now old they're gonna be great meanwhile he stinks and meanwhile the dodgers are. The padres are in third place. So i wouldn't coronate the padres as america's team quite yet stugatz. Did you see that. The angels did a version of the thing that you've been advocating football teams to do across years the angels used. And you've been telling people for years now that a team should just take all quarterbacks yes the angels who have trout and otani are like bleep it. we're in every round. Were taken twenty pitchers and not just twenty pitchers college pitchers mother get up here and help out. Tommy trout that. I mean you do it that while you're bound to get a rotation right like three or four of those one thousand nine hundred decent. No odds are not that good but they did increase their odds of getting a good pitcher david. So they're getting a lot of attention for that. But the dodgers drafted. I think eighteen of twenty pitchers last year. The marlins did five out of five this year. The marlins may have done sixteen of twenty. This is not new. You do not draft thinking that that is going to help your major league team right now unless you're an owner. That's how owners think don't take is school guy takes too long. I'm not even buying anything other than green bananas. I'm not gonna sit around five years. Pay guy eight million dollars and then hope that may he may make it five years from now. I wanna pay a guy and have helped me right now. There was a player who we tried to draft years ago named greg breslow ended up getting them later and he wanted a more money. You want to what was called back then. A major league contract which means out of the draft yes to be added to your roster immediately and that's way too expensive for a team not financially but in terms of roster squeezing to put a player on your roster who has no experience even college but owners love college players and so when you see these teams drafting more and more college players. It's really owners. Having a bigger impact saying we cannot wait to be disappointed. Let's be disappointed right now. But do you think that four of those twenty are going to be in the major leagues helping otani and trout. I take the under every day of the week. All right but if you keep taking pictures eventually you'll get a staff. That's that's all. I'm saying mike mad. You can come in. And that forced me to look at his stats. Because that's what i do when anyone mentions an athlete around year. How come no one ever points out the brady anderson you that he had eye cabinet ford dan. He had an mvp. Everyone knows he was a steroid user. He died he had one year of forty homers. It was the mvp year he had one year of north of one hundred and twenty rbi. Nobody mentioned it. It's what i associate kinman anywhere. You had three also seasons. But he was a brilliant player. There's one year that sticks out because not many people remember. Ken kennedy manetti. Who looks like your your best friend. Scary dad i want an nl mvp. He's a fascinating player. Any made one of the greatest plays. I've ever seen a third baseman. Megan he made it. Against marlins i remember being a little kid watching amazing defensively. He was an incredible player. Your favorite commandment brady anderson guys way better but equally a steroid user tragic. Yeah heart disease. Steroids makes everything bigger. And if you might have a little illness it might make it a more serious illness as it's why people preach the horrors of steroids but he also on a lot of demons he had outcomes. Let's made is. He kept doing steroids. He didn't go the dee gordon route which is just doomed till you get the contract and then stop or the brady anderson route. Just doom hit fifty homers. Got the contract and then stop. He did the. Hey i'm gonna go and keep going. He did the sort of the barry bonds way right. I'm gonna do it and i'm going to do it again. And again and again he was all it. You're right on stephon. Can we please you spend about five minutes here. Sinking into the wonderful space where cartoon ken kennedy exists. First of all. He's got the cartoon comedy name. It's a great name. His forearms were baseball. Bats they were actual baseball bats. He was he should have played with an axe thrown over his shoulder. His name sounded like and he looked like you. You remember ken griffey junior slugfest where they didn't have the license for any major league baseball players outside of ken griffey use so they just made a bunch of players. I think butch huskey was also in this. Is that a video game real person. Ken cameron eddie. Look like that and reminds me of the glorious simon the mid nineties worthy goatee had its day in the sun. I think we need to pause the show just for a few moments while ninety nine percent of your audience. Google can cam while we need to sync into this whole here. He just mentioned butch huskey. And these are sort of both butch huskey option husky. He's saying but you not is. Because when i look at ken. Kennedy you mention butch huskey another player. I don't wanna change committee's name because it's a wonderful car to name..

"Well, when did he become a top five quarterback when he was 30? Oh, no, it was before it was before that, and the issue was a little bit of what they had before. Which was they went through. They went through offensive changes. And like they lost in the 05 A F C championship game in their top receiver was like rachet Caldwell. But to the point he was kind of carrying them to championship games that maybe they completely didn't deserve to go to that. There was a dance. Well, no, no, there was don't get me wrong, But when you look at that game that I think they lost that game, 38 34 if I'm not mistaken. So that became ah, ah, big shining offensive moment, but to the point is that I would say 07 was probably I would say my b 05. 05 is when he still look I know five already had three. So I think people elevated him into that category. And you know, seven was the first year where he put a bonkers numbers, And that was the year they brought in Moss. So you know 28 29 30. However, you want to look at it. Right. And so you look at a guy like aggression, not suppose You're not supposed to be the better quarterback and the back half of your career. That is a little bit dubious. Every single quarterback Marino and Elway, even though he has a two Super Bowls grand. Well, how do you mean better? He had. If you look at what he's done in his mid and late thirties Grace, Here's the thing. He was never great. Early on. He was better in the second half of his career. Well, doesn't happen. Yeah, yes. And no. I mean, look. They're Tom Brady is busy the beneficiary of having amazing continuity from a coaching standpoint around him, and and he's been the beneficiary of that means. It's been argued that he has A master's degree in the offense that the Patriots run, but Shep You would also agree that the numbers from 4010 were very different in the next decade from 2010 to 2020 when even Brady and Belichick and hell Nick Saban came out over the weekend and said, Hey, College football's not about defense anymore. It's about offense. And we're watching a game right now. That's in overtime that's tied at 34. So when you say he was better later in his career, if you look on the whole the touchdowns of pretty similar to early on, but he cut down on the interceptions. In the amount of yards are Mohr abundant than they were in the prior decade, in part because the way the league changed right, like and what and what part of Brady stats and saying that okay, he went from an average of 28 touchdowns a year to say an average of 34 35 touchdowns a year and became a consistent for 1000 yard passer. One. Nowadays we have multiple 5000 yard pastors in the NFL. Why does he look the same Gresh that he did it 22 How about this? Because he's really good. He doesn't eat junk food. He works out all the time. He has gotten into plyometrics and things to keep himself limber as he's gotten older, But you say, Why's he better? I don't know. He's been pretty damn consistent through the whole point. There are there's 1 50 touchdown season in there when he played with Randy Moss. But this isn't like Luis Gonzalez, who all of a sudden hit like 52 home runs at 37 years old. I mean, like, seriously like, Yo, it's the whole watery. They won't look at the guys in the steroid era. One A guy like Brady Anderson to 33 years old hit like 71 home runs in a year and the next year hit a buck 2 95. Like Tom Brady. Ain't that What he's been is really consistent and oh, by the way, what is Bruce Arian starting to do in Tampa there? One more of the Patriots stuff. Is it a coincidence that ground's getting the ball more? Good chatter halfway home on Aggressed show, CBS Sports Radio. You get a whole lot of something with farmers policy perks so much I'm going to have to speed things up. You could get the farmers signal happen That could get you up to 15% off your auto policy. That's just for using the app and driving like the normal speed limit very full. Stop making lane change, signaling human being. You.

"Seven sixty six sixty six St Paul Rosenberg I'm going to ask you a tribute question I'm also going to give you a significant hands with this trivia question so you ready to play a little game here my friend what's funny is insured trivia Sir I hopefully I can maybe soccer went out to you that will give me some positive vibes on the poker table later tonight but none the less I was talking about that right fielder for the Baltimore Orioles that I could not figure out Brady Anderson was in center B. J. Sharaf was in what a former met a man in many ways who lives in infamy is the right fielder for the Baltimore Orioles do you know he was a man who lives in infamy that's the clue infamy correct thank god hello I see this going to table say Rosenberg here's what I will say if I give you another hands it'll give it away and it will be so obvious so I'm not going to do that I will say this he was signed in the early nineteen nineties does that help you early nineties by the Mets by the Mets and was a bust with the Mets I mean anyone's a bus with the match JJ but think about those teams there are there are two guys in the nineties that to me should immediately come to mind it's one of those still why do you want me to give you a hint that's going to give it away I'm gonna do that I I do use that so might not give it away I'm not could not stop Rosenberg at well he still on the payroll hi Bobby nailed it see I told you I could give you hate Bobby bony yeah is the right fielder in this game for the Baltimore Orioles I remember him being on the Orioles I just did not realize that it was playing the outfield I think you would've been a DH at that point yeah yes I was gonna ask you if you give me his Jersey number see I'll be honest I don't remember what number Bobby ball with the Mets he might have been twenty five I know he's twenty five in Baltimore on but I I don't remember off the top of my head what number he wore with the Mets but Bobby bony and right field and what is alleged no we wasn't twenty five with your ills because Paul Meryl was twenty five with your roses I'm watching this right now I don't know what's the more legendary poker game the Rosenberg the one we're gonna have later tonight well the one between Ricky Henderson Bobby bony after game six and I do not I don't see us on I'm going to say that came out a little bit more higher stakes than the one we have to have higher stakes but I think we're gonna get less trouble I mean you're playing that game is two teams about to be a limit give me a break come on out come on now and I see Bobby Bali yell it pulled me off the ground into a double play let's let me tell you something that's never gonna wealthy you yell at Paul hill in the middle of like a competitive sport like that forget about it let's add the Sparta Dan is not next these on a family's up Dan what does your Daddy baby are you done with your dynamite right I have a question it's funny this is I I sense there's no sports seven looking about security thing with sports is situations and the one Chester Macario McCall I don't he said but it's nineteen eighty he kicked a field he kicked a field goal and scored a touchdown because the head off of one of the bears it was the Green Bay Packers against the bears actually gifted of field goal touchdown balanced off the bears went right back into is it caught it and ran immediately into the into the end zone and scored a touchdown in October that he was on coke how cool is that I mean then it's not something to be proud of but it is what it is I mean there's not much more to say I don't know how you respond will call like that I mean we had to do seats you guys about like ninety eight percent on fire that's wanted to do is this always at that let's say the brick New Jersey frankly thought next the joins us on a family I want to know about the owners like baseballs you know I risk of you know loosen its popularity if if they don't come to an agreement their owners this team their teams are a long term investment was in their best interest to make a deal so I don't understand where they're coming from like you know that they're they're a franchise have gone up tenfold twenty fall because they bought the team they're not allowed to lose money for one year Frank I don't disagree with you to me the owner is going to be far more at fault here than the players if we don't find a way to reach an agreement but you and I both male regardless of how legitimate their case may be at the end of the day if there's no baseball in twenty twenty nobody's gonna really care who's right who's wrong you know that right while their franchisor all going to go down in value they'll make a deal they will actually go down in value and think about this for a minute Frank the ticket gates if there is a vaccine and if you're able to pack out stadiums like we know sporting events should be then you think of there's no season twenty twenty a family of four family of five is going to be dying to take their family to go to a baseball game held all of the no circumstance they're gonna be looking into that so there are some serious and some legitimate Jeremy concerns that baseball could run into any owners could run into over a long term type deal if there's no season it hurts everybody involved I mean the players lose a year of their careers and the owners could put the sport and an even bigger hole no one is there folks only loses and I got ripped it up at the plate now this is great I am so glad I flip this game Monica react to it and I'm loving that I'm like trying to pretend like it's a real game I know what happened what it's nineteen ninety six two thousand twenty twenty four years ago I mean that's crazy to me to be honest that this game was twenty four years ago and I'm watching cal Ripken who had like twenty zillion different batting stances stratus Korea this is the time when he's like that with a fiddle hold the back I mean crazy crazy stuff I'll be in this game that I I mean this is sad this is the existence I have no I. sports no more movies tonight Yankees Orioles game five ninety six LCS misspelling on this it's a big party some big big get together now with everything going on right now now I don't know where this guy's been it's probably been a witness protection program the last few weeks the great Jamaal Hey spell Gemma how are yeah with your own yard you can hear me Jamahiriya loud clear how you doing John not really your number one at this point but if you decide to listen to the people they put you on prime time so they better start listening more good people like me who know what we want in one no we like it who knows talksport John a trip to the modern John Madden will get on your own how bout dat chill mom I mean that is high praise right there you need to give me Tony Romo John bad all right good John are you know why no role because he never wanted the exposure you don't want me you know the field goal of the tree are alive you know I'll be doing that my name is Jamal I take Tony Romo's golf game I take that in a second I'll get you that job but at least matter what you're both the raiders shocked I'm a bit ticked off about a few things I how can a man be considered a gold if we could have scored twice he punched a teammate in the face the minute they sponsored documentary where yeah there we little cookie hand in a jar that the document what what was said he made one of his teammates he came back wearing a different Jersey you never want to play off the first six years in the league in England well the last two years already for John why in the world of Michael Jordan so much crazy that I've got the fight me John realize our ages this is Jamal Jamal from nineteen eighty five on Michael Jordan put up incredible numbers Michael Jordan wowed you every which way he did not want to lose and let's take into account not one but two three peats Mike going the extra mile you could not be more off base with Jordan and I thought you were one that respected his internet site all you will one that respected the coat I'm sorry Beyonce stuns with this job I have ever met I expect more from you John I thought it gold the gold is the man who took down the greatest team of all time three one I follow my own I've been twenty sixteen Dodge Dakotas LBJ let's not get it twisted Johnny got it let me get on something not job Jennifer their job well it's a ridiculous steak if you're gonna make the arguments about the middle brown is the greatest ever do it do yourself a favor because we all got plenty time on our hands go rewatch the two thousand eleven NBA finals and I try to sit there and tell me he's a great player not everybody had what Michael Jordan ever did and then be a final answer that question what Michael Jordan ever before my dad an NBA final no chance "There's not a lot of sports and I'm not sure how many Mondays we can keep doing this, but we do have a free agent. Of Colin Right Colin wrong a Monday where Colin was right well. Was it Tuesday that we were six hours ahead of anybody? We got Tom Brady going to Tampa Bay for the first time in my career, I broken NFL story without an NFL source I was somebody who plays a different stratosphere. He knows Tom and he said he's all and he's going to Tampa. you know I thought to myself well. I'm going to look incredibly foolish, which has happened from time to time. To break big J journalism, so I kept texting texting texting texting, and he liked it all up and everything he said was true and we got We got the story on that one. Which is a nice job, everybody? Where Colin was raw. The problem was I never thought Tom. Brady was leaving New England I still think he would've stayed, but bill belichick stone him on a phone call was very abrupt. That story's out now. They also couldn't land to fond digs. I think Brady is Albert. Breyer came on our show and said he wanted to stay. He was gonNA listen. He was waiting to see what happened out March. Sixteenth Eighteenth Window, but I was really surprised, not shocked, but I mean in the end. He's a creature habit and he just he went from prep school rigid New England to Publix gold wild crazy kids in Tampa it before Tuesday I didn't really think Tampa was a site so I whipped on that one where Colin was right. We keep saying the cowboys loved AC. What want they signing him well last week? They gave a hundred million dollars to Mari Cooper. Potentially this goes back I don't care what you say I care what you do. The cowboys are paying running backs two years early. Injured linebackers a year early. Good receivers, not Superstars Amari Cooper, one hundred million. They paid everybody back. I've always said those New England Philadelphia Road Losses Zero Touchdown drives when dad, significantly better offensive line, running back and weapons Jerry Jones got on that private jet was Stephen Flying home and it just. They pushed the pause button on it, so you can keep telling me. Everybody Loves Dak, but I'M GONNA believe your actions. Not your words and Dallas assigned everybody but Dak where Colin was raw I thought the colts. We're going to address. quarterback in this draft I thought I, knew Cincinnati was in Miami. Wasn't the chargers were I thought the colts were. I don't really get to Philip rivers. Thing I wouldn't have made it, but also. They gave up a first round pick to get a defensive lineman so. The quarterbacks that will be left are not to me unless somebody. POPs shocks the world. I don't think we're going to have a drew brees in the second round I love crowder. I think he's terrific, but it does feel a little bit here like you're putting your problems on a credit card. You could have to address them and pay the bill next year. And again I think the culture just too darn good with Philip rivers. They're going to be a five hundred team. Right while they're not going to be a nobody. You know the teams that are going to need a quarterback Jacksonville New England. I don't think they're moving down. So I this move I, don't get and I and I and I. Don't Love It. Where Colin was right I, never felt there be a big market for cam. It's smaller than I thought, but this goes back. You know people are saying with Cam Newton and I've never been a big fan. I think he's an average quarterback who had a spectacular year? It's like the WHO was the guy that played for the Baltimore Orioles. Years Ago Brady Anderson good player hit fifty Jackson one year. I mean good players have great years. Cams good. He's not great never has been. It doesn't win enough. Not Accurate. Enough gets hurt a lot. The A little bit higher maintenance, but the media has been. Nice to Cam forgiving with Cam, there's not much of a market. People say well. You can't get a physical. If Russell. Wilson couldn't get a physical if Lamar Jackson couldn't get a physical. If Patrick Mahomes can get physical. You'd think they'd be unsigned. The reality is with Cammie at a small market, the physical the virus doesn't help him. But. Most people in the NFL believe, but I thought which is. Great Year. Not a great quarterback older, getting banged up. Not Worth much and nobody wants to build around him. Where Colin was wrong I keep thinking. Oh, bj, being traded by the browns makes so much sense, but last week they came out in the New People said now we're keeping him. I mean Cleveland has major align issues. You can address all of them in the draft and they have major linebacker issues. I liked the roster, but those are areas of concern. And they have more than enough skill people. They got Austin Hooper from Atlanta tight end, so they have David and joke, who in hooper tight in Jarvis Landry to good backs? They draft another receiver. They. Don't need ob, Jay and Baker No. bj completed only fifty five percent of their throws. It doesn't work. Oh, bj tends to be a little bit of an Ad Liber. Baker Mayfield when forced ad-lib makes too many mistakes Cleveland appears to like him. It's the. Guy.

"He dis then a guy that knows the pitch that I'm throwing what do you say to them well P. D.'s does not help batting first of all right it doesn't it doesn't help that it helps recovery and if you can make it with what's interesting is one thing that people don't talk about is that what P. E. D.'s do do is a sharp in your eye sight because it increases testosterone and a higher level of testosterone it creates a a clear vision I'm in your mind with that being said in in your life with all that being said you still have to make contact and what I do actually did a a true statistical study they spend a year on looking at McGuire in bonds home runs because obviously this guy's reducing to the cream of the clear the question is did they hit the ball farther than they normally would have now the ball with the same distance so what was the X. factor they recovered quicker in the H. R. pricing that that's it those are the two things now if you know the pitch is coming when you say I don't want to got to know what you pick which is pitch pitch is coming even if you say it's a fast ball to slaughter to whatever do you know where it's going to wind up in the in in the strike zone it might it might are you saying it's gonna be you know right it felt level and that's where it's going to be so swing with your eyes closed you still have to actually execute I think this story is being blown out eight it's almost like the steroid story where people are like all my god I can't believe bonds did steroids like look it again going to DC market looking Brady Anderson hit fifty home runs the year that seventy when by the way he was cut like a body builder those days you member that he totally took those ya shirtless pictures and everything else what obviously was doing something you're not doing that by doing push ups are right you're not getting that kind of physique doing push ups all right where the guy go Fox Sports radio studios I find this fascinating because it seems to be this ongoing argument about performance enhancing drugs you know athletes gaining an advantage this man was done the scientific study is it true should guys be left out of the hall of fame because they were deemed that they were in hands because of performance enhancing drugs did they really have an advantage over the other players.

"How are you Tom? Great my my baseball. All teams manager didn't get fired before ever coaching game. So I'm in a pretty good spot right now boy boy oh boy this. Although the he can argue the phillies may have been better off. Had gave Gabe Kappler been fired before I for coaching game. But the not how this this astros thing is is interesting and credit to Gabe Kaplan today for hiring the first female assistant and Major League Baseball history glass ceiling Blah Blah Blah Katie sours. Good job I think Becky Hammon should be a head coach. But that's another topic for another time. This baseball thing is absolutely insane. And what did you think of. What were your initial reactions? When you saw the punishments for the Houston Astros which to give people background their general real manager and their their coach get fired? Although I guess that wasn't punishment they get suspended for a year as a result get fired the managers What is Lynch Okay God. Why so hinch and Jeff Ludlow you know Kristen ludlow's wife I'd unspent falling off the rails? What's the general managers is? What's at higher sleep anymore? Jeff knocking to work here anymore. It's like it's like blue now or something like that but it's so they suspended for year. They ended up getting fired For a more interesting and cognitive in cognizant and all my for a a version of this conversation which Greg Shire now having that actually makes sense and I use the right right names check out the underdog from earlier in the week but short of that those guys they get fired they. The Astros get fined five million dollars. I and the the Astros are fine. First and second round picks for the next two years. We also have Alex Cora fired from the Red Sox and and as you mentioned Carlos Beltran fired from the mets. Would you make all this. I mean I. I know a couple of weeks ago when the story first broke kind of called for heavy heavy sanctions and heavy. You know penalty for for this type of situation and I think we got it. The draft picks things certainly going to hurt the fines. Whatever there are Major League baseball team? That's two years or a year. Two years removed from winning the world series. Not Hurting for money losing the manager losing the GM it is what it is you know. Obviously those guys play a big role in building the team and obviously the manager the daily basis certainly helped but sure no outside of removing banner which doesn't solve anything anybody anyway because nobody cares in situations like data. I mean there's really nothing else. Major League baseball could of or should have done. It's hard to single out players. But then it's weird. Because Carlos Carlos Beltran was a player not getting penalized by Major League Baseball. But the mets chose to firem- anyway which is really weird. Interesting listing move. Well we don't know what shoe is about to drop because technically Cora hasn't been punished either we all know he's a dead man walking at this point. Yeah that's true. I mean it's funny. How the Astros just sort of like that guy did he did it? He doesn't work here anymore but he was the mastermind. It's it's a lot of. He said she said I think there. And I think it's it's kind of hard for the I don't even know cores role when he was on with the Ayrshire bench coach or whatever it was. It's kind of hard to blame him. Completely then act like Aj hinch those guys were completely out of the loop or or not involved in any way in the entire situation. Yes it's strange. Got A lot of stuff. One of the interesting astros stuff. I was looking over at the Sports Book Cook earlier today and I saw some interesting lines for who could end up coaching a couple of these teams and I do WanNa get into that but After that I want to a little bit back into this astro situation specifically because I think there's some hypocrisy going on within it and by that I mean a lot of hypocrisy going on within it so Vonda asks. Who's going to be the next manager of the Boston? Red Sox than the manager for Game One of the twenty twenty season. And the odds here we have. Ron Ron icke minus two fifteen Jason Varitek plus two fifty fifty Matt Cuartero Plus Two fifty. Tim Hires plus eleven hundred. Carless people's plus twelve and Dave Bush plus eighteen. Where's break main that money? Dan Money's on Jason Varitek all day every taste Captain Boston. The face of the Red Sox I I was amazed when you said plus money for Varitek I feel like that's their move. It saves face with their fan base. Yada Yada Yada. VR Tech was player. GotTa it Yeah Yeah No. I think we're on the same page there and I think it's also interesting the two I it's interesting to three managerial. Jobs are open on the sixteenth of January. That's pretty much unprecedented especially from these three organizations but vita also asks who's going to be the manager of the Astros for Game One of the twenty twenty season and this I think is a it's a little bit more difficult Joe Is spotted is modest one. Fifty Bucks showalter's plus four fifty macro plus five fifty Brad also mess plus eight fifty John. Gibbons plus nine fifty the Andy Green plus twelve fifty dusty Baker Twelve Fifty Hensley mullins plus twelve fifty and a Eduardo Perez. Who I would guess is the is going to be the mets coach? He was the runner up to Beltran for the mets coaching. Position is plus two thousand. I don't like that awesomeness former average going purely ex players. Yeah well. It's one of those things that almost makes the most sense. I mean awesomeness. He's been around the block a little bit managerial wise. I think he only in his last job. He only only got one year out of it. I can't think of even the team that he was either the diamondbacks or the homeless. I'm with I don't think it was the astros. But as time Baxter San Diego somebody a west coast but I think that could be a way that they go. I don't see I don't I don't see the the buck showalter would how do we. How do you sell your fans who are now used to playing in the world series in the AL every year? Yeah we're going to bring you the guy that led the orioles to like two hundred and thirty plus losses. The last two sees. Hello Yeah by the way Mr Manager of the Anaheim individuals twenty nine. I knew it I knew it was a west coast team. It's a it's a weird situation and I. I think it's incredibly strange that there were. We're not seeing players get suspended again. I know that there certainly could be another shoe to drop like I said but the reports that are being just vehemently it denied by Jose. altuve Alex Bregman and those guys are that they were wearing officers on their bodies. And can I tell you the more they look. Look into this the more that I find credence to it. And you know there's there's that video in two thousand nineteen where all the sudden you you know. Jose altuve wouldn't do the celebration. They always did when the shirt ripping celebration when Homerun He's basically like holding his Jersey down and saying don't rip my shirt to his teammates. So there's maybe something there but I I want to look at Jose Altuve as actual career and it seems like it. Breaks Down Pretty clearly when this happened. You know we go from. He comes into majorly at twenty one years old. He hits to Seventy six as a twenty two year old and two thousand twelve. He has to ninety as a twenty three year old in two thousand thirteen. He hits to eighty three with a three sixteen eighteen o BP then twenty fourteen you know. He has a Brady Anderson esque explosion and development process. Where where he goes from two eighty three to hitting three forty one with a three seventy seven? Oh be pig. We're talking about a fifty eight point increase in his batting average. It seems like if That might be a sign that something was going on starting in twenty four. I mean that is an insane. mm-hmm insane jump it. Whenever you hear the name Brady Anderson thrown around? That's never going to be positive. No now I mean listen the I looked at the buzzer stuff. A little bit today before to run out there and ref som some glorious stories glorious. Cyo Basketball but it was. I mean I find that so hard to believe. That's something just is because it's it's almost like it's almost like how dumb can you be like anything could happen. You could be diving to make a play diving. Get into a second or Third Jersey rips. Now there's was a sensor. That's just out there that people can see like there's so many variables there and ways to get caught. I mean unless they're just that cocky and confident that they're not gonna get caught the the only way I could picture that actually being a thing. It's just the only way like weird twitter account. That's been floating around around all day. Since the last couple of days that's like allegedly Carlos Beltran's niece but then the family denied it and Oh yes that was pretty critic a whole big thing said that like made accusations about Kleber Torres potentially also wearing stuff got you got Scott Brosius as a kid alleging Mike Trout Take Aga huge baseball's falling apart at the seams. Here it's nuts. Yeah Oh absolutely it is like it's. It's a nightmare scenario for this for Major League Baseball Right now an organization that already has more than its own share of problems for this stuff to come out and especially when we're talking talking about the two thousand seventeen. MVP of of baseball to potentially be actively cheating full-time. Oh my God I have. I have a buddy who actually said today that this is great for Major League Baseball. A publicity that they're getting is so great. DUDE THIS IS I. I know people say that all publicity is good publicity. This is terrible for Major League Baseball. People already don't care and now you're gonNa tell me that okay. Let's just say two of the last. Three champions were blatantly cheating and and it was all brought to the forefront and and now like who. Who's ever going to care about baseball again? This is not good publicity. It's a it's a terrible mindset to think like oh great. We're getting talked about on twitter but for the wrong reasons like this isn't gonNA drive people to watch your game. Nobody's got a tune in opening night Sunday night baseball walk. Let's see let's see how they handle this cheating scandal now. Nobody's going to care about that. It's just unbelievable. I just think it's crazy crazy to think that a guy could naturally increases batting average. Fifty eight points here. Yeah absolutely. That's not like if a guy's hitting like two twenty five or something like that and he has like awkward slump year with an established history of being better. Maybe if Bryce Harper had three eighteen next year or something like that. I don't think anybody would say oh would jump to his cheating but when you're talking about a guy who hit two eighty three in one hundred fifty two games by the way not a small sample size and then he jumps up to three forty one the next year. I also know that that's natural absolutely doing on the up enough. There's no doubt about it. No doubt about it. Yeah and then that next year up the batting average another fifty eight points for nineteen. It's just insane. They were clearly cheating and I think it was Alex. Wood was out there tweeting about how he'd much rather pitch to the guy on steroids and the guy who knows what's coming and that's your that's one of the most realistic reactions to this situation. That's out there. The steroid scandal pair pales in comparison to this. This is a this is a rock you to the core situation for Major League Baseball. Yeah this is what was it in in bonds book. He was talking about like steroids can make a bad player. Okay and okay player. Good a good player. Great and a great player. Barry Bonds Barry Bonds certainly was his biggest fan. But but I think that that's true. It doesn't like you know even we. We joke about Brady Anderson. All the time but Brady Anderson was borderline. all-star worry worry hit fifty home runs. He was an outstanding player. who was a very different player? But he was still an outstanding player in Barry Bonds on his own merits potentially a hall of Famer if he never takes a steroid yeah. This is a whole different story. Like this is taking a guy and I know you're not a big fan of your your wars and your advanced metrics and and stuff like that. But for the first three years of his career he was a one player basically which means like his presence in the lineup is worth one win above a replacement level player the next year he jumps to six point one. I mean. That's that's an insane jump and obviously like you said I'm not it's on like the biggest advance stats guy in the world and you know whatever but but to jump five points in a in a thing like that it is as you know absolutely insane for them for them to then say so. When it Alex Cora joined the Astros Pitcher Syrup coaching staff? Does it. Line up with that. I can check that I can. I can look very now but I just. I think it's insane. The this guy shouldn't be suspended. I know it's it's going to be really hard to prove exactly what happened and whether or not there were. Buzzers are not bother buzzers. He joined his Cora was only there in two thousand seventeen okay so then he gets the majority of the blame somehow if area if this sort of stuff was happening and obviously it's all alleged it's all guessing basically but jumps like that. Don't they don't just happen you. Don't it took a couple of extra. BP swings in the off season. I was in the you. Know the Dominican Summer League winner League and you know I just really started word seeing everything better like that doesn't exist. We'll these ironically. He's this is a good candidates with the Brady Anderson. I got contacts. Excuse Yeah Yeah. Yeah Yeah I can see now i. It's amazing how much easier it is..

"Frame I'm John horn. We'll pick up my conversation with screenwriter and playwright Aaron Sorkin about his stage version of tequila Mockingbird back in the spring of last year. Harper Lee's state headed by lawyer Tanya Carter sued the producer, Scott Rudin saying that Sorkin adaptation deviated too much from the novel. There were a couple of minor changes that the west wing creator agreed to but Sorkin wouldn't budge when it came to how he'd written novels to main black characters. Tom Brady Anderson falsely accused of raping a white woman and the finches housekeeper. Pernia sorkin. I talked about the concerns the estate had with his version of Atticus. Who initially swore drank whiskey and owned a gun in the book in the movie, Atticus, carved out of marble. He's the man with all the answers in the play. I wanted him to be wrestling with questions, and I wanted him to be more human and things like Atticus having sitting on the porch having a glass of whisky by himself after he's lost. The case seem very human to me the gun in the closet is the end of the first act when we all know the moment when he finds out that Tom Robinson has been moved to the local jail a night early. And that the clan the bad guys have been tipped off. So Advocacy's to go to jail and save Tom from being lynched. I had a moment where he grabs a shotgun from the closet. Hesitates looks at Purnea says you'd better take that with you at advocates puts it back and the note was Atticus would never have a gun in the house. Again, it first of all that note. I didn't understand because in the book and in the movie, he's dead. I shot shoots the rabid dog from two hundred yards. So it's not like Atticus gun objector. Notes like that. I reluctantly agreed to because I could live with them and the play wouldn't have happened unless I did I remember talking to you while you're working on the adaptation more than a year ago. And you're the midst of releasing the movie molly's game and the time that you were giving Tom Robinson Copernican more of a voice in the story, especially when it comes to the issue of racial injustice. I remember saying to you, what is the state of Harper Lee think about that? And you said they've been great to work with. We've got a pretty good deal and a couple of weeks later the. To play. So you're timing was a little bit. Your optimism was maybe a little bit falsely placed, but it does sound like you were able to resolve the dispute how would you characterize what the takeaway was for you as a playwright through that dispute ended it leave you with the play that you were a hundred percent happy with did you feel like you had to compromise in terms of what the estate wanted and what you wanted in the story. No the that lawsuit. Dad, no effect on the play. And neither I nor Scott, nor director share would have gone forward with the play. If now going back to the beginning, the novel has to only to a significant African American characters Tom Robinson, the defendant cow Purnea the mate. And this is a story about racial friction in the Jim crow south. Neither of the two African American characters really have much to say on the subject in the novels really most concerned with whether scout is going to wear address or overalls to school. Tom Robinson gets to plead for his life. And neither of them have agency. And the me that got scared by the lack of quality of my own. I draft one of the things I've Oude was I'm not going to pretend that I'm writing this nine hundred sixty and I'm not going to try to do a Harper Lee impersonation, neither of those two things will get very far. So I thought that in in nineteen sixty using African American characters only atmosphere is the kind of thing that would probably go largely unnoticed. But today, it's it's not only wrong, but it's a missed opportunity. You want to hear from those characters my favorite scene in the book, and my favorite scene in the movie. It's a lot of people's favorite scene in the book is the end of the trial Atticus. Packing up his briefcase. Everyone has left courtroom everyone except the people in what was called the colored section the balcony up where all the African American citizens of may come are standing.

"Out in space, but a good change up there by the patriots. I play down here with fullback, then come back with the outside play with the jet. Sweep the show in the backfield. Forty two launch Angeles opening drive of Super Bowl fifty three second down four ram forty to talk to Michelle and a up over the left tackle by the forty first down corkscrewing his way to the thirty seven yard line of Los Angeles with Marcus Peters, making the stop on a gain of five. And this is what's really made the patriots. So tough this year. You know, they got Tom Brady he got he got big time players. But when you can add a downhill power run game to Tom Brady. It makes it so difficult to stopped in three playoff games. Now, they come out and try to dominate the front and they've done that early in this game grand thirty-seven Brady Anderson. A I in ten I formation looks into the three-man front you to hand off in a shell over the guard tasked with thirty five outside down to about the Rams thirty-three again of three with brokers. I met ran defensive line making the stop your Tony talk. A little earlier we discussed it numerous times the play action of the Rams is such a big part of things. But the patriots love it as well. They get that downhill run game going Tom Brady is great at attacking the middle of the field with play actually either growth or Julian Edelman a second down in seven Brady's in the gun thirty four yard line of Los Angeles. He's. Got four wide. You looks into the ram nickel arms. Outstretched moves his receiver. Edelman shotgun. Snap section. On a pass intended patriot returned to the twenty seven. The Rams Tom Brady is just thrown them interception on a pass intended for HOGAN broken up on the play by the kill Roby Coleman. Accepted by the Rams who will take over on the first possession were the patriots removing the Rams defense makes the big play for defensive coordinator. Wade Phillips ironic that it's Roby Coleman talking a little bit about Tom Brady this week and being a little bit older changes the way that he's played this year. But I'll tell you what that was just an errant grow by Tom Brady when the bulky hands. It was fluttering like it slipped out of his hands. And he left it way inside of HOGAN. That's what allow to tip that ball up in the air and Littleton becoming football occurred. It was a long throw to from the left side of the right side. First down in ten Rams. Have it on the New England turnover? Twenty-seven moving from all right to I left under center the quarterback hands Ross. And it goes to girly who runs over that left tackle and dies for a gain of two years. Brought down I'm Ed defensive line. But the patriots wineman Trey flowers, they'll be at the twenty nine no surprise that. They went right to Todd Gurley slot. Talk about what was going on with him in the NFC championship game. And there was talk this week. Hey, we're going to get him more involved early in this game. So won't be surprised if they feed Todd Gurley only to give him twenty nine a boss. Angela shock me growing up after the the numbers to decide on chased by van noy tried to throw it away as he hit the chalk running to bench on the far sideline. Led into an incomplete. Pass incomplete pass. He got it away. Kurt just in time. And did not take a loss to throw it away. Trying to run the naked off the play action, which they love to do what he was looking for Josh Reynolds who's gonna sneak out into the flat but van noy tremendous job knocking down Reynolds. So he wasn't an option in the past game. And then chasing down here to the sideline. Enforcing the throwaway. Adrian's without a turnover on the first possession. Rams taking over now. With the third dominated the twenty nine. In the gun. Three wide across the way to look into the nickel. Play clock is down to one owns outstretched. Shotgun snap back. Three winds up those crossing pattern. And on the hash. Mark was this short pass intended for the receiver. Josh reynolds. Incomplete on the hash Mark its fourth down. And here comes the putting in it for the Los Angeles Rams after the patriots turned it over great job early by this patriots defense. Right. Not giving up too many yards on that. I run play. Nice job on the play action and enforcing Jared Goff tap to throw the ball underneath to make the big hit. Not a real good throw by Jared Goff. Maybe some jitters early in this game. Rams the punt. Johnny hacker will swing his right leg through after a long snap. Ed is backed up into the roof makes the catch backpedaling at the team breaks. One tackle driven back inside the bread. The hang time of four eight that was huge. Thank you. Bye makes the stop on that defense and on the special teams. And so a second possession coming up for the New England Patriots in a scoreless tie.

"Member FDIC copyright 2018 Capital One trying to justify putting both berry and Roger Clemens in. But after seeing some interviews today with some hall of famers, and with some players that were their contemporaries who play with them back when when when they were just absolutely dominating major league baseball. There's still no I I don't want to say no love lost. But there's still no, you know, nobody's really upset that Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens are not getting in the hall of fame. And of course, we all understand why that is is because of the the possibilities in berries case because it's never really been. I it's never been out. Now proven I guess that is use performance enhancing drugs. But there's still a speculation out there regarding both of them in that era. And the thought is is that, hey as long as they're tied to that as long as there is no. Remorse given on both parts. And and and Katie you talked about it before the show in regards to how Roger Clemens has handled this situation. We all understand how Barry Bonds handle it. He's been silent. Right. He hasn't talked about it at all. And it's not been a topic that he brings up I've had a chance to interview him at events here in Las Vegas, and and and is always off limits. Anything anything re in regards to any of that stuff? He doesn't want to talk about. So it's mean, I guess I understand it. But at the same time, it's gonna cost them because they're not going to get a chance to be immortalized. That's the thing. I mean, if they came out like Andy Pettitte, and they came out and said, look, it was the era we played in and most people feel that bonds and Clemens were clean for a good portion of their career Clemens with his years with the Red Sox bonds years with the buckles. And then afterwards, you know, what there were a lot of people doing it. They're figuring. What if they're doing it? We're doing it and just enhance them so much. And when you see the size difference of Barry Bonds, you know, from his his biceps on his head being. In two sizes bigger. Whatever was I mean, you know, you know, what existed and you start seeing these numbers. And so maybe we didn't put it together with the Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire when they're doing this home run chase because you know, McGuire was a big guy. But then when you look back at his rookie picture when he's coming out of USC, and you look and you're like, wow, he did bulk up pretty good. But we will remember the bash brothers with can say going Maguire's, we figured he's a big guy. You know, we're not. We're not sure about him. We're not sure Sosa big guy. We're not sure. And of course, not only Sosa with the with the steroids. But also with the cork bat for the love of God got busted with that too. So, but yeah, so they I remember Lance Berkman saying, you know, it sucks because I'm in an era where the Mitchell report and all this stuff comes out. And there are a lot of people that usually goes, and it sucks because I'm a husky built guy. And so people right away are lumping me together thinking he used because look at them, you know, and they're just judging you by looks and you have the extrordinary seasons. Don't you can how about this nineteen ninety three ninety four Brady Anderson? Right. You talked about berry. He goes from thirteen fifty two home runs in that season. And I remember actually going down because that was the first year that I believe that Camden Yards opened up. And I was in college time we drove down from Boston down to Camden Yards to see the Orioles play the Tigers. And that's one of the Tigers had the Mickey tattle tins assess fielders, you know, they had like all the guys they hit over twenty home runs that season. And it was our economy speculation a lot of baseball fans minds as to what was going on. And then all of a sudden Brady Anderson's hitting fifty plus bomb brain again and hitting fifty. Are you kidding me? Both guys are. Shooting fifty nine on.

"And are we sure this is C J Anderson? That's another theory because it's Tom Brady. What does that mean? Tom Brady Anderson is sort of like take him or relieve him. He you know, he was completely starting to fade out of the league. And they've made an agreement with CJ Anderson, the real CG intern to say, we've built someone else sort of off to the side, we're going to put into your we're gonna choir. You look just put up a year in Los Angeles mansion gonna live high on the hog, but we're going to put this other creation in your jersey and suddenly C J Anderson since week sixteen nobody in the league has more rushing yards per game. When you were studying a head of today's podcast, which I know you were I really wanna lock up the saints. But I feel super freaked about about it. I just I don't know. I feel like the one issue for me is that the best pass thrown all last week was by tastes some hill. I think he's a huge factor. Love the way, they use them. But if I just does no doubt on drew Brees. I'm not casting doubt. That was all outcast. I think that they really impress me the way that they I was more never more nervous about the saints than they were down fourteen nothing against a magical eagles team thinking, this has all the makings of a letdown of a team that using his lock or the team that rolled in is the number one seed Marcos not get it done. And the way they fought out of that hole gives you confidence. But this game. This game is hard to think. Both these games are impossible to pick. What to do with this one? Well, did you pick it breeze hasn't hit? It gotta do it. Mark. You're pro this. What your job you wait a little bit like two more minutes. Do you need like one hundred twenty seconds. My lock is going to depend on your. So we have to wait you're playing I'll get it out of the way for now. I can switch my launches. I wanna lock up the Rams on the road. I think they're a little bit better. And I never really liked lock the patriots. And I think Jared Goff Aeon breeze. Haven't played their very best over the last stretch of the season. And that that Gotha. I did everything that was asked of him last week. He made some really nice they're down throws that they're gonna need a little bit more of weeks one through six cough to pull this game that they're not just going to be able to just run steamroll the the Rams all time. But I think the saints kinda need earlier season drew Brees to that. He even last week. It was more about everything he did before the snap and looking off defender, maybe that'll be enough. But he hasn't made as many like really difficult wild plays over the last five or six weeks as he did early in the year. The last time go ahead. No. It's just going to say that a you showed your hand a little bit there. Is a big time lock strategy because for those that are are tracking this or maybe aren't west is one locked behind Mark with two games to play Greg and I both eliminated. I don't have a hand..
