"Of Thea's taka in Mexico City, where they lost three nil to Club America, but Atlanta United to Ono in league play, leaving the Eastern Conference. In fact, the onliest In conference team with six points In their 1st 2 matches. They will play in grouping against New York, Red Bulls, FC Cincinnati and Columbus crew. And first up will be that Red Bulls match on July 11th. I say this somewhat tongue in cheek, but I mean, and at the same time, I did not want to play the Red Bulls first. If I had a choice, I would have rather played them Third. Maybe the heat and humidity takes a little bit of energy out of that pressing style. That the Red Bulls have always played with, but not to be. But here now an opportunity for Atlanta United facing rebels on a neutral field for the first time in the competitive match to maybe slay these demons in the regular scenes in the Atlanta United has had against the Red Bulls. Red Bulls are really stuck in a tough spot here because Chris Armas knows that they have to develop. A little bit more variety and their game plan. But this is the first time that the Red Bulls come into a season without Bradley Wright Philips Without Louise Roe bliss with number of changes and You have to do what you do best in this kind of format. You know, it's not like you're you're getting months of the season to prepare for this game with Atlanta United that he had circled on your calendar when the schedule came out. You don't get that you're coming into Ah, tournament where the best thing you can do is be disruptive is to be who the Red Bulls have been now. One big noticeable changes what we saw in the 1st 2 games this season. Where they play the 4 to 2 to its what you've seen traditionally out of the Red Bulls teams in Salzburg and in Leipzig. It's what they want to do across the board, and they haven't really had the right players to do. It didn't suit Bradley Wright Philips, and when Bradley Wright Philips scored the goals that he did for the Red Bulls, you've created a style to suit him. Ryan White is a little more malleable. The questions they're going, Toby, can you get out wide on this Red Bulls team and I think it laying the united Can. You know? We've seen them so far this season in there, 343 be able to exploit the width. And use Brooks linen to get wide down the right side. I think George Bellow is going to be healthy here, but Jake Morini shown that he can get loose down the left side as well. And we know from day one with this team that Atlanta United can hit that big switch and change the point of attack. The rebels are a very narrow team. You have to know that they're going to come in and probably up the tempo in Game one. That's going to be the game that they have circled, put forward their best effort. But Atlanta knows what's coming and I think they can take advantage of some of these new faces on the Red Bulls Well, and A lot has been made of Atlanta United all time Syria's history against Red Bulls, but let's look back at the last four competitive matches. Okay, the three nil win in the first leg of the Eastern Conference playoffs in 2018. You lose one yellow Red Bull arena, which is as good as a win. You're playing basically to get out of there without giving up a goal in 90 minutes, So you're fine with that, even though it's scored as a loss. And then last year under Frank Tabor, you really should have one in July. You have the 33 to Robert. He gave up the very legal to Bradley Wright Philips Great game, probably one of the best games of the year in the league with one nil loss against 10 10 man Red Bull last year in May, I think is one that really, really sticks in the craw of a lot of Italy, the United supporters, but Honestly going down to 10 men was probably the best thing that could have happened Red Bulls that day because it made the approach to the remainder of that match. Extremely straightforward. Tom Barlow hits him on the counter, and that's it. They can lock down the match the rest of the way. Yeah, they were better when they went down to 10 men because They were trying to do maybe too much for that team before that, and that's a question about this one. I went back and watched the match against rail Salt Lake the second match of the season for the Red Bulls, and it was a match where you expected are seldom have the possession. But you didn't expect them to have over 20 shots, and the Red Bulls on Ly have a couple of clear cut chances. Finishing the 11 draw. It was one of those games where you have two shots cleared off the line by the Red Bulls. They did really well I am rhetorical was outstanding in that match in place of Aaron Long. It's just there's still questions about who the Red Bulls are right now. Are they trying to be something different? Can they do that? You know, on a quick turnaround in this tournament format after you know, weird preseason for them where you played a couple of games, you go home. You sit for a while, They didn't get backto action really early in the process in terms of training. What are they going to do in this tournament? I think they have to lean into who they've been, because that's what how these players have been trained. It's the style that can give them the best results in this tournament. I just don't know if they have the talent to necessarily make that work anymore. These two teams have seen each other this calendar year for what it's worth. A preseason fixture down and I am G in late January, Atlanta United one that picture to one Red Bulls. That was one of the very rare goals that Atlanta United even gave up in the preseason, and it came off a pressing moment. Not a lot of give you a player to watch, though, for the Red Bulls, and it's a player in some of those moments when they turned the ball over in the press, and it's somebody that you might not know too much about Florian below. He is a player who has had awful luck with knee injuries. He's torn the A C L on both knees in the last two years, but he looked sharp early this season. Good play maker and below and Daniel Royer two very tricky players, and they don't need a whole lot of the ball. They don't need a whole lot of space to hurt you. If the Red Bulls can cause those turnovers below, and Roy were hitting on the brake can be dangerous when the drawl when we're watching the draw on June 12th I? I know this sounds crazy. The one team I really did not want to see was Cincinnati. And the only reason why I say that is For whatever reason, Cincinnati has played Atlanta United Very tough. They only have one point to show for it and three matches, but they've played Atlanta United. Very, very tough. And one of those games was earlier this year. The last Emma last match Atlanta United played when they got a goal from Yuya Cube. Oh, after going down to nil in Atlanta, United had to work very, very hard to see that match out. Mercedes Benz Stadium in front of 69,000 fans and win 21 Hyneman embark O score the goals for Atlanta United. So we've seen Atlanta United approach Cincinnati without Jos Martinez, which is something they're gonna have to do again in a non AM match on June 16th but boy I love your gun like aria, and he now is fully healthy. Remember he was working his way into fitness when Atlanta United saw him the first time, but they've also made a managerial change since Atlanta United played them in March. And with the managerial change here comes some Dutch players into the mix now for Cincinnati as well. Yeah, yeah, Tom takes over. This will be a second game when they face Atlanta United No changes to the way that they play. The team was built to play in an adult style was the right higher because you bring in. Somebody who can take over was already in motion. Look audio. You keep him for another year. There were some concerns because his loan was originally only through the end of June. That's been extended. You add CMD Jeong, Another talented player, Frank board does know pretty well. The player that we didn't see in that second match of the season. That really impressed me. In week one against the Red Bulls was Adrienne Reggaeton. Reggaeton was just all energy and really difficult for the Red Bulls to deal with. When you look at the Cincinnati attack, and look audio came in late, so he wasn't at his best..

"I mean, they lost one zero, but they came in with a three-goal lead. And they basically just sat on it. They look like the more likely to score for most of the game. So impressive performance by Lanta sucks. Red bull fans yet again, they came up with the supporters shield and. Short in the playoffs Justice is served. I mean, I I always have a little bit of sympathy for teams that never really win the big one. So really? Yeah. I do that big heart. My big big black. You know, crushed heart that you make us what you lack in trophies and success you make up for it heart, his, right, sympathy and compassion. That's what people think when they think parcel Sam sympathetic and compassionate. So, but what that does it opens the door for an Cup final which there's probably gonna be eighty thousand people in Mercedes Benz stadium. Excited that that is going to be quite a scene. I might might. I say we go for it. That is is. Look, we'll have to look into this should be it should be awesome, Portland. So and as I think was on at the beginning of the show Portland took care of Kansas City unfortunate for the city another situation where they too couldn't get it done to the playoffs yet again in Portland just is unkillable seems like in the playoffs year after year. So it is -lanta Portland showdown in Atlanta. In the Mercedes Benz stadium next sadder, I think it's Saturday that is going to be awesome full preview of that one. 'cause I've seen both these teams about times now to know what the hell's going on. And I'll tell you what there's a hot take Covent dig over Larrea might be the best player might be the best MLS player on that field. That is a heartache he's one of the best MLS built for MLS intelligence. Mark berry berry physical, and he's just got an intelligent movement. Like, he's just quickest to the half yard, you know, those guys -ticipant while just know the game. Well, I I am so impressed with Jacob. Larry imagine if it was Bradley Wright Phillips on one side and dig of Larry on the other side high. No, I was very very unimpressed with Bradley wright-phillips. He's not having a game. He does a lot of like pointing like if the delivery is perfect. He like, I wouldn't wanna play with them. That makes sense. I hear you hear he he he did not have a good series against. The credit to to be honest. I really didn't like watching them today that the best chance fell to Adams early. And if he buries that there's a better chance there were well there was talking about chances Martinez had a chance twenty seconds of the game. What was a that was incredible, man. At least there was a little bit of drama. Yeah. Put everything but for all the drama that was lacking in the first game. My God was at second game from the officiated does Zastava. To just goals from the absolute top shelf. Oh, now, you're switching Kim city Portland. You're saying for the first game lacking all the drama intrigue that second game head five times the amount. Geiger, Geiger out there. How did people not see this coming? Well, I actually know harkening back to the beginning of the season. I remember Savary's who came over from the cosmos, by the way and got hired to Portland. I don't win like a like a good stretch without winning a game at the beginning season. People are like is this this doesn't seem like it's working over. Well, let turn around pretty quickly. The did. Apparently, the guy can coach after all. So yes, MLS Cup December eighth that will be fun. MLS cups are always great. I I have I've yet to tell the story when I first moved to Los Angeles was the first year my beloved revolution, which your main Jones made the final play that stubhub center. And that is the druggist I've ever been the saddest I ever have been from sporting event by die life. Speaking a drunken unhappy. Any brought up Germain Jones in the same sentence, which is. I'm not gonna get into that situation. Right. Oh, yeah. That was the year that Lee win and everybody looks like they could be stopped. All of a sudden Donald's first final game. It was a pain in the ass..

"Original MLS powerhouse toward less experienced twenty three years of playoff hall break. They'll masters of self sabotage left some talking about curse, and despite you record breaking season, you will be aware that the rebels can do damage themselves in new creative Thome, they self sabotage its learnt from the previous times in terms of its creativity. And it's pain. How does an awareness oppose failures Fulmer locker room culture? It's gonna have a psychological impact. Sometimes you hear funds meeting. If we go down in this just like, oh here, we go again. Fill out on the field a field. If I woke I have read it today. It'd be like come on Columbus down in the here, we go and don't get me wrong. I get you know, I'm awesome fan. So, you know, I know pain, I get it. But it doesn't help. But. Yeah. Once you get to the game. I think down the field these rings around for your mind on the pages. Something you see journey. We may be moving completely different players completely different managing. Yeah. Exactly. It does fill it. There's a freshness and new energy though. Does it feel connected. The twenty three years I won't let when you get to play off time. It does connected. It's metros Neo rebels. Ota pause. We've never won this Cup. So you're going to hear it. You're gonna feel it. You know, the pressure about. Is a good pressure. Because if we manage to win we can say as club as a unit organization that we done not to give for the first time. So I think that's a big thing turfing about I look at your season by season experience in the United States and starting two thousand thirty there's a pattern even I can say, I'm not a mathematical genius, ROY and harboring rebels. I in east and your first year they won the support shield lost in Eastern Conference semifinals you scored against Houston. They lost anyway, two thousand fourteen four th these lost in the company again, you SCO two thousand fifteen I won the support shield lost in the final. I mean, it's just like boring me two thousand I in east lost confidence. Semi's again, you scored a one in particular hurts the most that you carry around with you a score the taking longer to hail just blend Columbus one winning off after eight seconds in the first leg that was one. That was crazy. Talking wise. We wanted a best teams in the league. And we didn't turn up in defense. Made a bad mistake. Concede after Kennedy was like that work done. And then the one where I think we pay New England second leg our suspended out. Just always feel bad about it. Because I go suspended again get to play the second leg initiate shows. I something go away. There's a quote with its constantly Misako beauty to elbowing Stein. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. One you look into your heart. And when you look into your locker room when you look at the red bulls organization, what feels different this time around. We w we don't give many goes. And this ain't blaming defenders as a unit we are harder to score against. And when you play in the playoffs is obviously what you need last week when we lost Columbus. One in Nepal stat might have been two or free. And then you can't come back from now with a good defense in a good defensive unit. We always giving ourselves with Charles. And I think that's the only difference. I think sometimes we've had very tax. We've had bear attacking players. It hasn't helped us in the defenses. What's making us different? You are thirty three a young, man. I wish how many seasons to Philly have left any not only me listening. I always say this until out. There embarrassing myself when I called run pas players. Get goals. My touches really bad. Then I'll give out as long as I feel like I can play. They'll have to kick me out because I I love playing you'll just you just know. So you guys wouldn't be calling me up. Then you know, you nice time to be him seven the. Fifty nine year old. I watched Gary Neville, and but he retired. He came back into the Manchester United team and just go burn for pace against West Brom and substituted himself in the first half..

"What is main jobs scoring, and you can always rely on him to score a going the way we need to go. He comes up with gold carries up pressure of being the. You can relate. Yeah. He carries it. Well, you see me I go bag onto my is tied stressing him he just looks like a walk in a park for him a mazing great to watch England team destined for the semi finals of the nation's the new tournament which vacillated between being a Mickey Mouse, Kurt when we were down one. They'll quickly became the most building. Ever been a big international Tillman ever treated when we weren't them. We're in the semi final. There isn't this is the biggest. Everyone agrees, but an England that wins take some getting used to mentally dozen. That's the pressure on ourselves quick to Chris I'll play his this group of players very will close the best. We're slowly getting rid of that stigma loving yourself is a rare emotion as an Englishman Paul the Venise on. I'm fascinated by is role. South London is played in all of this way. You came of age integrates home of. The young great. You look at it. Joe Gomez Jaden, sunshine Mehola Ruben Loftus, cheat Ryan session on our one of the list goes on and on and on. We would just in England loss. We we shot in south London at golden square of talent. That's dub concrete Catalunia around Crystal Palace. You grew up in Lewisham. Well, tin the water there. How is this happening is a lot of competition? This guys I went to school. We will played Sunday League for go. Bad feet me quick at EMI, maybe finishing even just playing. A local pockets ways pressure moment is always trying to prove yourself to be the best. And if you come from somewhere like that. And then you go to like an academy. It's not new to you. Try name press every day. And I think it may have something to do this an incredible diverse. Eclectic mix characters designed immigrant energy talking about teams that win throwing off the mental shackles of pasta feet agreement. Segue into the two thousand eighteen New York red bulls. You've just laid the Columbus Crew winning the series three one, and I get which is no mean feat because teams love to piss in the punch at the party Morton Columbus, you now face MLS stallings Lonzo United in the conference finals first leg twenty fifth in the big Pete second-leg Thursday, the twenty ninth. Why season New York rebels have had survived a midseason coaching change. You won the support shale for the third time given to the team the rest regular season record MLS arrest of colle- in the playoffs. Determined the ultimate champion the league season is essentially just four play. Very long. Hopefully, we don't call the vessel. To be on this. What does winning the support shield actually means? You is a plant as very big you've won the lead. You're the best team over the whole season two conferences. I don't wanna get too. Because you can I'll start getting frustrated because it really is a big deal to me. I think is the hardest thing to win anywhere else to champions. But now I sound like scared. I'm not scared to playoffs. I respect it over here. That's what we do. So we'll have to try to win that to for me to support. You is amazing. So the support shell actually is more than just the totem. I mean, you see another sports when the NHL regular season champs, even touch the, you know, the big standing line ahead support shield is deeply, meaning, of course. When in the league ever since I've been young when I wanna leak Sunday League football. I would celebrate. If you saw change them off to the shield. Yeah. You'd know. It means something so big deal is a big deal. But this bigger bigger. I was one of the things I've been fascinated about this red bull season back in July you coach Jesse martyr. He decamped to join the star for red bull. I take is assistant Chris O Mus that tin. The locker room how you adjusted to the transition of coaches, so well because other teams and I'm not going to name them. Other teams CFC comes in my victim. They didn't. We've also we were lucky. "PM on ESPN second-leg, November twenty nine th on f s wall clash. Like Magnus Colson against Fabriano Caruana few players will relish the challenge. More than my guests. That was a chess joke who is the greatest British contribution to the New York sports scene in athletic history. I truly believe that and he's undoubtedly one of the greatest players in MLS history. It's not hyperbolic to say, he's the best Bradley since Bob. We welcome back to the pod a renaissance man as he's also the creative director of the two nine collaboration with new era, some lovely silks. Welcome back to the punditry. Mr. Bradley wright-phillips. I'm trying to get a job. You too good for we only have the truly mediocre, and you a remarkable man as we will discuss to the course of this. But welcome back. BW paintings, though, we poured a couple of days after the mighty US man descended into Wimbley, the spiritual haywar football, and I fell football is. Bam spanking three nail young bowl three Phyllis England. Did you watch? I did they should've paid title from. What are you going? He played well and finish it aside. Our long to. Yeah. We'll see I'm gonna sound biased Wapping one of the best young offenders in this country. Nothing. The result would have been different live. You learn right. Be the for USA coach who cheering for was the for you any minute sense of identity crisis. Nah. I wanted England to them. I wanted. I wish England won four two and Tyler and iron scored. I mean when you watching all young guns, go up against their younger when Tyler Adams comes into the game is any of you what Jane light? They'll just send him home in one piece Zach. No, that's all that was from winning overseas. Amazing Thailand to play at Wembley. Also, erin. I go be selfish aerotank about myself and the rebels. He is an unbelievable plant. It's been one of the Julie's of my two thousand eighteen watching him test himself week to week. I mean, there's very little he kennel day. He can stifle opponents. He can create feels like he can do everything. How good is tunnel Adams in terms of plays that you've taken the field with he's at a talk for potential just from my standpoint, he gets done in a game point a game when he's back I'll played Gareth bale, and I'll compare them in this way, succumbing team so young and O'Malley be a star. And the team need you so much dot young age is only those two I remember there is the green intangible GM, and it's developed almost week to week his leadership. Does what mean now if he's not playing something we have to think about normally young guy doesn't play even if he's good would do if about we've Tyler is a big piece puzzle. Missing. He came on the show Tyler them's, and he talked about his dreams of European competition. What level can he compete him? I always say I think he's up to him. He's one of those guys job doesn't change is a play works hard. He's always kid ability. Any team goes into can do that same job. He's one of those guys he's engine room folks box wherever you pay. He will stand out. I don't think much change it's up to him. We should take a moment to marvel England we should not take this for granted two thousand. They're really believe. I mean two thousand eighteen you can make the claim in the best year fingers football since nineteen six. Nick obvious. What we've done what we would the way to pay plane somebody's pay like regime in under mortar. Calmness. So young on Sunday. You watch him. He feels everything is possible. When you watch him strike to strike out. What do you see like myself with him? "Welcome back to the totally football show American edition now. Columbus verse rebels. All right. This was this was an interesting game. Gregg, Berhalter going up against his, you know, national team teammate, Chris Armas, you know, the two coaches locked in battle here at Columbus. This game ended up one zero when it all comes down to it. And you have to you have to look at the tactics of this whole situation. You know, you had Gregg Berhalter elect not to start. But it go you mean because I tend to believe it's because they played one hundred twenty minutes, you know, in the game before against DC United. So, you know, not the youngest. So you gotta give them a little bit of a breaker. But it worked out because I mean, this is a game. I mean, not the not the most exciting. I mean, I think there was five shots on target in the totality of this game. But. The one goal that won't go was pretty special when ego. I ain't comes in. Right. I mean that was the backheel the no look back heel, and then Yossi Artis once again comes up with a brilliant brilliant strike. There wasn't a whole lot from from New York. I mean you look at. Zack Stephan goal. He makes I think one incredible save. I think there is one moment. This whole game was summed up by two moments. You're going back heel to czars, and then the Bradley wright-phillips chance in the dying minutes of the game and Zach Stephan actually save where he pulls the hand. It puts him back and pulls that ball basically out of the net. And I thought it was absolutely incredible. No wonders Stephens. Should we mention it now? But yeah, I mean goalkeeper, I mean, absolutely impressive. I mean, we saw that late save from Zach Stephan. But also when Danny Royer had a break through and set. Stephan came off of the line, so not only making saves from inside the box, but recognizing the danger when his back line is beat and he basically makes an open field tackle, and Danny Royer and pretty much saves the day. So you gotta give credit to this young, man. He's doing everything puts Columbus an fantastic position. I do not think. Rebels can just say, okay, we're at home. Now, we can get this victory because the way Berhalter is is. I guess sizing everything up and organizing everything this is going to be a battle. This is going to be a very difficult time for this rebel side. Agreed. Yeah. I think you can you can kinda sent the collective energy building with the crew and coming away with a win there. And then having you know, if there's a team that can protect it on the road. I think it's like you said Berhalter's guys right now. So I've been impressed with Columbus over the plow. So far, you know, let you send an award for the goalkeeper also in a while for jesse's comeback player of the he's been I think he's been great. And you said last week is a Finnish. Yeah. I mean, you see like I said he's not going to be like, okay, I'm going to dribble dribble past that. But he gets the ball in and around the bucks. He's finding ways to put the ball in the back of the net. That's it. And he's very strong and solid in the air. And some of the stuff that he is said because remember former galaxy player and they moved them on. He has a better understanding of where he needs to be an understanding of where that services coming from and win it's coming. So he knows what he needs to do that gives even more credit to the coach in great Berhalter in what he's getting out of artists right now as we talk about the possibilities of him in the future. Doesn't young player who's promising..

"Well, let's finish up the rut lap around the world with molest. So the real, the one big thing that stood out to me. So Atlanta and red bulls both put pulled out two zero victories a land over our l. Toronto rebels over Toronto. So the the race for the supporters shield is still want to call it neck and neck, but it's still close Atlanta's up. I think four points right now with a few games to play. So the cool thing about this is that the actually play Atlanta rebels play next weekend, but but. Bradley Wright Phillips the, you know, the goal scored is your deluxe for red bulls, picked up a yellow card at the very end of this game against Toronto. And so because of the cart accumulation rule, he's now going to miss that Atlanta game. And so then Atlanta game was gonna be, you know, essentially make or break for New York. They have to win that game if they want to have any chance of win the supporters shield. And now you missin their top score and is because he likes, said a naughty word to aligns men. And that's what he got a yellow card. So I hate hate that he's going to be missing this game such big game. It could have been such a big thing for the less and no, they're going to be down there their best best scorer because you know, he said shit to allies. Min, I think is what the word was. Not real sure but talks, he's got to be smarter. You can't. You can't do that. But at the same time, I mean, come on how soft you gotta be like the linesmen like tattling referees, ease. It's not weird to me. Yeah, so that's keep running we got, that's that's. That's pretty much it. Seattle beat l. Seattle walked into the galaxy and got actually smoked to Seattle's, been killing it lately. They got smoked three zero by galaxy. That's all I wanna say. And then last last but not least. Well, maybe less bud least is the mid week preview, which there's not much going on this week. There is make believe League Cup action coming up on Tuesday, Wednesday, which I am religiously opposed to ignore them, but at least until the semi-finals. But I will say there is something, yeah, it's excuse to drink. If you wanna take a liquid lunch and go out there. I mean, you can expect from being sick. But the one thing I will say is liberal is hosting Chelsea on Wednesday, which is the mornin interesting game. We're probably be teams so don't get, you know, don't get your sport sports owner Boehner to fluffed up for this one, but they play again on Saturday. So so they play at Liverpool on Wednesday, and then they play at Chelsea on Saturday into interesting little run a game line. If I know crop, he's going to play his team in both. That would be an interesting move. I was gonna say, you know, like like team like pitchers in baseball. They got there. They get there, get it over move, and then they got there like a plus move react. Trying pick somebody off. I figured both teams are gonna, throw their, throw it over, move in this game, and then say they plus, but it'd be it for for Saturday. But if club bring out his quad for this game, that would be. I only have one note on the mid week Brentford who are no play where arsenal apparently lost two one behind closed doors in scrimmage to them earlier in the preseason. I'm excited. I'm excited. So that should be an plan were on the championship and they play a style that should give arsenal problems. That's actually like big, upset, settlers, upset alert. I think we're going to put out like an Email Smith row side and are going to be a guy that doesn't have a Wikipedia page. So I'm all set with like, I wanna go out of this Cup of media. She loved, I don't take. I'd rather not money, two more games rather just lose the Brentford. Just get out of it, get out of it. I wanna have fun watching any Eddie Nick and say the name like d. there you go. I wanna have fun watching him and I wanna watch him Bill Smith row Meg, like to do, and then I wanna lose then call today. Yeah, called it. Maybe some Jeff..

"I stumbled upon something that I found interesting JJ of how certain clubs were doing at this same exact point last season, six games in you care to. Can I give a couple to you here and you can try to guess gone. Let's see here. So Manchester United. They they just point in the season have ten points. You remember what they had after six games last year, they had fifteen point sixteen sixteen points. They had an axon star. Yeah. And then they went to Anfield and the shut up shop. And nothing was the same point Tottenham in crisis. Twelve points right now at this stage of the season. Do you remember what they had after six games last season. Eleven. Yeah, Spurs for all of this talk are better right now than they were a year ago craze. When all was right with the world. Obviously, you know, city were perfect at this or they had sixteen yes, sixteen points city it. I'm confused city at sixteen points at this stage arsenal right now have twelve points. Do you know what they had through six games? Last seat, ten points? Very good. Very good. And. Last, but not least Crystal Palace, seven points at this stage at through six games last season. They had like three point zero zero one the game. Yeah, but also interesting before we move off, is that four club as storied as Liverpool? The seven wins on the bounce is a club-record. They've never done this. At the start of to start a season. This is that's note it's all happening. You are really in your prime right now. It is. Let's see a couple of things here back in less than I wanted to mention the the red bulls look like they may have delivered the knockout blow. It's is really happening JJ with the stupidest. Did you see the opening goal for the red bulls? Yeah, the against Toronto. This Jupiter school I've ever seen in my life. It was ridiculous and Toronto for conceding that gold deserve to not go to the playoffs coming off of the mid week loss and the can't be as cub. It's all it's all spiraled now and it looks like the red bulls. They're gonna push on for the supporter shield, which today I'm sure is a nice accomplishment. But again, we've had this conversation so many times in the past, how much does it really matter if they fall short comply off time. Now, the one unfortunate thing is that Bradley Wright Phillips picked up a yellow card. He was raging about he was so. So you could see after the game when he talked about it, he was like devastated because he clearly wants this supporter shield. And now the match he'll miss because of yellow card accumulation comes up next week, and who is it? Atlanta of course, in one of the games of the season, and he will not be available to play in that match. Atlanta's who, of course the rebels are chasing. Yeah, for the supporters shield. Meanwhile, the galaxy looked to have inflicted a a similar blow to the playoff hopes of the Seattle Sounders. Well, not necessarily. Actually the Sounders are still in the spot, but l. a. are just three points back now of six place. Seattle. Seattle, we talked about the injury concerns that they may have had, but they did have role, ROY d. as back in the lineup for this one, no, Chad, Marshall, however, slots on scored. He assisted on a goal. So they're not there yet, but the galaxy are there still time they're threatening for that final playoff spot by the way. Did you see this talk of Latin possibly being done with MLS after one season? Yeah, I heard that you okay, I, I've enjoyed him in MLS it's it's hard not to think that he would be a loss to the league where he to leave. I think I'm surprised to hear you say that that's how I feel about it. Yeah, but you seem like someone who just believe? I don't know. I feel like you've always kind of had a thing with him. I don't not. You're not. I, I don't think he's as entertaining as everybody said and his colts are like gold dust. I don't believe that at all. He is growing on after all, who compares himself to a lion boss on the field. You can't denied that he is enjoyable to watch that. I heard. He was just was gold. "I c- c- couple games that I don't have a ton to say about, but we should tell you that they're happening Wednesday. Three. Oh, five PM. So a little afternoon one arsenal and Chelsea and then Saturday. Six. Oh, five rail Madrid and event this by the way it does bear mentioning because we have spent a lot of time talking about Manchester United. They're playing right now as we speak against Real Madrid. It's halftime and United are leading to one. We'll see Alexis Sanchez an Andhra Harare have goals. Cream Benza scored deepened in stoppage time of the first half, so that may that will probably change between now and then, but I wonder if could some if that could settle down some of what Josie has been saying. It depends if he stopped seeing it. You're right. He is made a decision. We talked so much about this. We don't need to go into this again. Let's see your openly qualifying JJ. Yeah, Burnley and Aberdeen Thursday to forty five. It's one one heading into the second leg back at the turf moor after Sam Vokes, late Heroux eightieth minute to tie that one up, pulled it out of the fire and Patry. Yeah, I bet there's gonna be a great atmosphere for this one. I think Burnley fans are up for this being back in Europe and also Scottish fans. This is travel distance very much so. And the Scots love to travel. Aberdeen is historically very well supported team with a great history. I would love an upset in this one. Absolutely love it. Let's not forget where people view the perception of the Scottish Premier League is not very good right now, and it's a long time since Aberdeen pulled off a row IX in Europe. They've also sold one of their main players over the last few years to Salford city. The Gary Neville run vehicle because somebody reckons that they attend. Team in the I suppose the non leagues can pay better than Scottish Premier League team. So that's why I am all for the chaos of Aberdeen knocking out Shawn dice team. I actually have all you'll of John Dyson go halftime podcast. Are halftime team toll? Yeah. When they were wound down, Johnny said, what was that? Yeah, we will kneel down at halftime and said till ads, do. We don't want to be, whoa, nil down, said Sam Vokes stood up, right? Sam Vokes and said, would you like me to school wriggle Gafsa an said, oh yes, please. Some that will be tremendous. And he did. That's all it took. Would you like me to score a goal? Yes, lease. I-it's simple manager, simple instructions back to the old school. So one one as they head into the second leg. Also Thursday to forty five Rangers and other team OSA check, I suppose. Yeah, one nil Rangers holding the lead Stephen Girard more Scottish pride here, what this is slightly different. So they won their first game, and this is the second leg are, sorry. Excuse me. They won. They won in the first leg. They wanted to also one in the first round, which is much better than what happened last year when they were knocked out by the champions of looks and Burg early on. So it's all going good for Stevie g. so far, although you'd never know it in his post-match interviews. Quite dour. Saying there's a lot of work yet to be done, which I'm sure there is. Is that dower? Is that true? Look? I have. I'm going to be honest. I haven't seen them play it, so I'll defer to you. They've only played scoot. That's shoop. UP. And then JJ's favorite league on earth resumes this Friday. It begins the English championship Friday, three o'clock reading and Darby county. You must be just like this is like Christmas Eve, right? Listen, interesting one because Paul, Clement who we know from his managerial stint Swansea as a former derby manager, derby county's new manager is senior Frank Lampert who will remember Paul, Clement when Clement was a coach under Carol Ancelotti a Chelsea. So there is some crossing of the streams here you'll see dare is the technical term tear be have just signed a Jack Mariot from Peterborough for quite large fee who was legal and player of the season last season. So look, what is the main boys? The buzzes, Frank, Lampard's bow as a manager at a, you know, a big team. This is a big site historically who was looking to get back into the Premier League on this is. Thanks for senior coaching job..

Sam Vokes Aberdeen Scottish Premier League Manchester United Benza Clement Europe Burnley Frank Lampert Madrid Gafsa Chelsea Alexis Sanchez Gary Neville Andhra Harare Stephen Girard Rangers Darby county
