So far so good right now John. If you're on the Beltway you will find your normal slow spot on the outer loop Maryland in Maryland from New Hampshire Avenue around toward 29 Colesville Road. Inner loop starting to slow just a bit getting past St. Barnabas Road not quite as far as the Woodrow Wilson bridge and no problems on the Beltway in Virginia. However northbound 95 is starting to slow from Dale City into Woodbridge. Eastbound 66 the delay is passing to 34 business then it is good to the Beltway and northbound 28 still slow out of Manassas headed toward New Braddock Road on the George Washington Parkway. The earlier delays have cleared in the northbound direction but just watch out for the long -term work set up north and southbound between the Beltway and Fort Marcy pretty much a little further down than If that. you're on 270 southbound the delays are out of Urbana headed past 109 then bit a little of a delay passing 124 in Gaithersburg and then it's good to the lane divide onto either loop of the Beltway. We're going to start off in the district. Northbound DC 295 the crash after Eastern Avenue cleared as it continued toward 50 New York Avenue in the BW Parkway. Your travel lanes are open. What's not open is I -395 past the 3rd Street tunnel headed toward Main Avenue still with the center lanes blocked for the broken down bus so stay to the left or to the right in order to get by as you continue toward Main Avenue. No problems being reported on the Beltway in Maryland if you're traveling on the outer loop Prince through George's County. Slowdowns leaving of course Central Avenue headed toward Route 50 and the John Hanson Highway. Then you're off and on the brakes as you continue toward Green Belt. Top side of the Beltway outer loop delays leaving New Hampshire Avenue toward Georgia Avenue. The crash that was on Georgia Avenue northbound near Forest Glen Road is completely wrapped up and gone but still seeing some slowdowns on the outer loop as you make your way past Georgia Avenue toward Connecticut Avenue. No problems on the Beltway in Virginia on the southbound side as you leave McLean headed toward Alexandria but the inner loop. After Braddock Road that crash activity was blocking the two left lanes now been cleared over to the right shoulder with your travel lanes open but then again your delays continue on the inner loop as you approach the Delos toll road headed toward the Georgetown Pike. Eastbound 66 off along the breaks between Route 50 and Fair Oaks headed out toward 123. Southbound I -95 still the pockets of volume between Lorton and Hangle which are traveling to open. Northbound I -95 seeing some more slowdowns as approach Route 1 and spots a toward vein Route 3 in Fredericksburg after that you should be clear toward the Springfield interchange and on I -395 for watch delays up to and across the 14th Street bridge. I think most motors would agree with you, do you know so far we do have some issues, especially on the Virginia bellway, which the inner loop of which got unnecessarily busy here just from the last half hour or so. We'll start coming out of the Springfield interchange, passing Braddock road and watching the crash activity near exit 52 for a little river turnpike, blocking a left lane, lots of flares in the roadway, lots of flashing lights, but little trouble getting past it over to the right. And then you're into the work zone. After the dulles toll road, heading toward the George Washington, Mario Parkway, and a left lane gets by there. Right toward the end of the work zone we've got one report is one stopped in the roadway, blocking the left lane. Outer loop work is going to be after route 7, Leesburg pike, heady road I 66, we don't care what the overhead signs say, it's one to the left to get by. We can see that in the camera and the ramp to 66 is open. 95 sound crash and police activity. Southbound after exit one 40 for Stafford and courthouse road at last brought a set her lane was blocked of three plus the left and right shoulders following police duration ever so carefully south on 95, then after that, the work near centerport Parkway left lane is blocked, northbound, as you come out of Fredericksburg, the works on as you cross the rappahannock and get near route 17 at falmouth. It's a right, check that two right lanes getting by. All around the beltway in Maryland and in Virginia, all is quiet tonight been in Maryland on 70 westbound west of Braddock heights understand there's been an accident involving a deer and they're blocking lane in each direction. So about midway between Braddock heights and myersville should find Elaine block each way, believe it's going to be the left lane in each direction there. Two 70 runs without delay, 95 in the bottom of Washington Parkway are good to go. And clear sailing on 50 getting out to an Atlas in the bay bridge, in Virginia and north down three 95 has the work zone at Washington boulevard, and you're getting by a single file to the right. It's the only work zone out there right now On both three 95 and 95 traveling southbound, nothing in your way, all is quiet right now on 66 in both directions. Everything is running pretty well both ways there. In the district 16th, the pony branch Parkway had word of a crash watch mirrors for the responders and apparently the traffic signals are down and also the street lights are down as well because of a power outage really affecting the signals along independence avenue between 23rd and 17th street. Still slow in Virginia Mark run in 66 east in manassas, then again, the fairfax county Parkway headed out to just after 50 fairfax the one broken down. It's along the left side of the roadway. 95, really not too bad right now between Springfield and valley. Not much of a delay. There's a northbound heavy traffic pattern in the Springfield interchange, one to get up onto three 95 toward edsel road, and two to get on the inner loop. We had a wreck after Braddock road that's been moved over onto the right shoulder. Three 95 was a little crowded north coming out of landmark believing king street very slow though up near The Pentagon, headed to and across the inbound 14th street bridge. The trouble on the freeway remains just after the exit for the third street tunnel block in the right lane of three two to the left will get you by. The crash and police activity in northeast sounds like Massachusetts avenue may be blocked both ways between 8th street and constitution avenue again in northeast. Slowing in Maryland on the beltway topside outer loop, 95 over toward George avenue, interleukin two and through, college park, but cleared out completely south of town. There's no worries branch avenue all the way down toward the Wilson bridge. The crash clean up on the ICC headed westbound. You'll find it after 29 taking away the far right lane, two 70 looks good south coming out of Frederick, but heavy in Germantown with slowing down toward Montgomery village avenue. There is a delay on 70 eastbound, the wreck that was out of Braddock heights, was spun out in the left media and drawing a lot of attention, and there was a crash earlier in brandywine on three O one northbound after mad woman beantown road. The closure is going to be right at the fairfax county Parkway, follow police direction. There should be a handful of workarounds. Westbound 66, handful of work zones, the first major one is going to be near the exit for 50, single right lane getting by there. As you head past 28, according to V dot a single lane gets you by towards the center of the roadway in addition to that, the ramp to southbound 20 is closed. So if you're headed westbound on 66 to head southbound on 28, unfortunately, you're not going to be able to do so. My suggestion, go ahead and jump over onto 28 eastbound, then rather 29 eastbound, and from there you can get on to 28 southbound. Was about 66 after the manassas rest area, traffic had been shut down, doesn't seem to be the case any longer. You have a single right lane getting by the work zone, and there is still some crash activity as you leave the work zone. So be extra alert as you make your way past them and ask those rest area headed towards two 34. And that's just good advice anyway. So if you're headed past any work zone, you've got to be extra careful. It seems like this accident scene happened because of potentially impatient people. Sometimes when you have just a single lane getting by, then the work zone clears up, suddenly you have four or more lanes, people like to book it across all four lanes, and that's when people bump into each other. "More Now on a story we first told you about last night. Man has been arrested in connection with a high speed chase and to hit and run crash is it caused on the American Legion Bridge? Maryland investigators say. Shaquille Scott of D. C was being chased by Virginia State police after reports that a car had hit a Jersey wall and the driver of that car was traveling erratically.
