"To service for a term of years, excavating, Indians, not taxed three fifths of all of the person. So a couple of other national stains. Up as well. But they're trying a new one into the census and thankfully, at least for now they've been stopped were you surprised when you saw the news this morning when I saw this particular one? Yes, you were. Yeah. Yeah. We have a conservative majority in the supreme core in general over the past year and a half or so. It has delivered. Constant winds. Four conservatives for Donald Trump. Yeah. I mean on the gerrymandering like, I know that people who watch this don't need another reminder. But this is why the supreme court is so important and the supreme court is one of the reasons that presidential elections are so important because when you hand over power to someone like Donald Trump, this is the sort of news that you, wake up to for literally years, if not decades, and they were going to use that conservative majority, whether this next election is reelection for Donald Trump. Whether we get some centrist democrat or whether we going to progressive, they're going to be on account on their conservative majority in the supreme court to protect them from the bowl this legislation and to continue to give them wins and areas of workers rights, the environment and voting rights as well. I was surprised to I think these two cases are. Similar in the way that they are. It's obvious it's obvious to everybody. But luckily, the census question there was just blatant proof just laid out word for word on what they were doing. But regardless of that the Trump administration was willing to say, no, no, no. We need to know where every Hispanic person lives, so that we can protect them, because we are not the administration that ever discriminates. Absolutely not. They're willing to run on that argument go with it all the way to the supreme serve. You A little bit can can think think of of. don't let this tastefully. I, I don't care how many times. Neil gorsuch. And Brad Kavanagh are going to accidentally stumble themselves across the right way to do to Kate things like this. Never trust. So that's just my approach to these things. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, we'll, there's such a surprise. Yeah. This is the price because it's not going to be awesome. Yeah. Yeah. Enjoy. He can't and enjoy this while you can because again as been saying, this is not over. They say in their decision that, that there's really not much time. There's a few months, I think until the census needs to be submitted. And as of right now, they're saying, if the Trump administration wants to do a little bit more research, and then come back with another explanation as to why they need to citizenship question, then they're free to do that, or they can potentially, I guess, try to postpone the census, even though is very specifically listed in the constitution that that needs to happen on this periodic basis. I don't know how they would do that. When the process so far has taken literally years. But right now they have been given the opportunity to try once again to cover up the obvious racist motivations for this edition of the census and it might end up getting added in the end. With that we should take our first break. When we come back more to get to, as I alluded to earlier, on the Trump administration is targeting active duty members of the military's families pretty significant insult. There weren't any of the details after this hail is Bronx. Although you can only hear me now you've probably seen me on the damage report. Or the main show I am constantly on the move. John Roberts may be the new swing vote on the US Supreme Court

"You know, we were talking about John Roberts in how he doesn't seem to be turning out. His chief Justice of the United States Supreme court John Roberts. Yeah. That guy. He's lurched left hasn't. He has. And you don't want to be able to identify your supreme court justices that way. No, I think I think I know what's at work here though. Shannon bream on FOX did a report on this yesterday. And I'm listening to the report, and I'm thinking to myself, I have a little theory on this. I'll share the theory as soon as we hear this report on a range of hot button issues. John Roberts in recent weeks decided with his four more liberal colleagues, including a February vote to block enforcement of a restrictive Louisiana law on abortion clinic access just last week. He ruled four a death row inmate over his right leading colleagues objections. It's the latest sign. The sixty four year old Roberts is hitting the pause button on the expected conservative full court press ushered in by President Trump. After nominating justices. Neal Gorsuch, and Brad Kavanagh. This is an incremental est minimalist strategy, whatever you're hoping for or fearing, and whatever your your preferred area of law might be this court is not gonna move with giant steps. Since November the chiefs vote in separate pending appeals prove decisive a half dozen times on issues like immigration asylum and transgenders in the military while these votes do not yet go to the merits of the larger issues. They signal Roberts shaky place in the courts middle as the so-called swing Justice. And unofficial title. He inherited for now when Anthony Kennedy retired. See I think that's what he's doing is. I think he wants to be a first of all I think he's an anti Trumper never-trumper. So I think with Justice Kennedy stepping down. I think he sees himself is the rational reasonable person in the middle who can become that person that kind of holds that court from going way too conservative. I think that's where he's at mentally. And I think it has everything to do with President Trump. And his feelings about person and Trump and the two appointments to the person it's made to the supreme court. Well with Justice Ginsburg. In ill health for the most part and aging. There's also this. I mean, the fact of the left going crazy, maybe it's more of a stability thing. So we don't have to go through another dog and pony show. Like, we did with Justice Cavanaugh. I don't know. I just think that for whatever reason he's calmed down the Uber. Uber's now maybe on the left is a, hey, look just chill. I'm here. Okay. I'm going to keep things stable that may be that may be part of it. I mean, I don't know. I think you just seasons office new man in the

Here's what to take from Kavanaugh's first abortion case

"It was a surprise to many conservatives. The supreme court blocked a controversial abortion law and Louisiana hours before it was supposed to go into effect. This could be the first test of abortion rights in the supreme court with new conservative justices. It involves a two thousand fourteen Louisiana law. That required abortion clinic doctors to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals now in two thousand sixteen the supreme court struck down a nearly identical off from Texas on a five to three vote but last night conservative chief Justice John Roberts sided with the liberals in this case to stop the law from taking effect while the court considers whether it's going to take up this case the courts four conservative justices, including new Justice Brad Kavanagh dissented Justice Cavanaugh separately to say he would allow the law to take effect for now. But he could be willing to rethink it. If it showed that it had that undue burden on a woman's right to get an abortion. Now this like you said is just. Temporary. It may not tell us much of anything about how the court's gonna approach abortion rights. The justices still have to decide whether they're going to hear this case they could do. So

Google built Email for politicians, but you have to trust Google from American public media. This is marketplace tech demystifying the digital economy. I'm Ali would. Email can be very vulnerable way to communicate especially if you're sending around valuable information because you're a politician or a journalist or an activist high profile Email users are targets for hackers trying to get them to click the wrong link and give up their passwords. Google actually offers a version of g mail with extra security, you need a physical USB key to log in and anyone can use it. But Google markets it to these high profile users Mark Risher is head of Google's account security team in creator of what's called the advanced protection program. What we realized was that while we do our utmost to protect everyone. There's some people that need really to turn it up to the max that whether they are activists or journalists or political figures the risk or the likelihood of an attack is particularly high. And so we built advanced protection. Yes. As the Fort Knox to give them Google strongest security offerings all in one place. I mean, I suppose that even. If you were let's say candidate who was enrolled in advanced protection. But you were emailing somebody who wasn't isn't the weakest link in any of your communication like the dumb person on the other end. I wouldn't say the dumb person because. Yeah. The the attackers are going after everyone, and they will look for wherever they can get through. And they have the advantage that they get to keep trying until they succeed. But you're right in your Prentice that communication is multi party. It's two way. And so if either side is compromised, and yes, there is vulnerability. Right. And I mean, I guess that raises the question should anybody. Use Email should sensitive information in this day and age be in Email at all it feels like a real question. But the challenge is we need to communicate to do our jobs. You know, if we were to go live in a cave and only pass handwritten notes back and forth. It would be unlikely. Someone would steal those handwritten notes, but we also would be going at such low bandwidth. We couldn't get our jobs done information sharing. And all of these communication tools are. Mendis-led valuable, for example, when we talk to political campaigns. They say, you know, think of a campaign as a startup that comes together just for a few months with just one objective. Every second counts they're going as fast as possible, and they need to be able to use the wide panoply of communication tools at their disposal. Mark pressure is head of Google account security team. So, but you know, people are still skeptical of Google, so we checked with an independent cybersecurity expert on whether even a higher security version of g mail is a good idea. Bruce Schneier said he personally doesn't use Google at all he said here in the US government can just subpoena your g mail and Google has to hand it over. But he said in countries with autocrat regimes that can't just ask Google for Email records, the program could be good protection from surveillance, Nigeria and Khazakstan Syria and east Neo Pia bunch of countries in the Arab states bunch of countries in Latin America, former Soviet republics all these cuts. Stories are using toviolence tools to spy on people for political purposes and people who are at risk of there. This is a great system. Schneider said even US citizens working in other countries with routine surveillance, should definitely secure their Email and now for some related links. Even though the FCC officially repealed net neutrality that wasn't enough for the Trump administration and the telecom industry, several broadband lobbying groups and AT and T had actually petitioned the supreme court to overturn 2016 ruling that up held net neutrality rules, that's constitutional and within the purview of the FCC telecoms and the administration wanted the supreme court to throw out that ruling altogether. So it could not be used as legal precedent down the road. But the high court said, no, although Justice, Brad Kavanagh and chief Justice John Roberts recused themselves. Both of them said they totally would have overruled the lower court if they had been there, though, another story you might have missed on a lighter note electric, scooter company bird launched its service in London sort of a law from eighteen thirty five has blocked the use of the scooters on Britain's streets, but the company can operate on private land with the. "brad kavanagh" Discussed on Progressive Talk 1350 AM

"Let us talk about the latest addition to the United States Supreme court. I know you remember the name Brett cabin off. That's who we're talking about. Where it Cavanaugh is been on there a couple of weeks now, and I have been asking have we forgotten about Brad Kavanagh, and I'm very happy to report that no we have not yet forgotten about Brett cabin. And I for my part will never let us forget about breath having off this is a disgrace. And that's nicely. Put. That's putting it nicely. Okay. You'll recall, I know it wasn't that long ago. Your call that the overriding seem about Brett Kavanagh was can we investigate all these complaints. That are coming in. Right. That was the whole point. Was there people were popping up everywhere and they were making allegations. And I have no way of evaluating them. It's not my job, nor is it your job. We have no way of of valuating this stuff. People pop up. They make allegations Brad Kavanagh denied him. How do we know who's lying to tell the truth? That's why we do investigations. So everybody was saying could we please take some time and investigate it. Now. Of course, let's not forget the politics. Democrats trying to run out the clock the Republicans trying to jam through. Right. It's all about the election coming up. So there's no point to to have any claim to principal by anybody here. It was just a raw naked political exercise. We understand that. And so when the Republicans refuse to investigate right, Dr Christine Blasi Ford's allegations when they did the FBI do the most slapdash comical ridiculous non investigation. And then say see, it's okay now. Right. When they did that what the Republicans did was say we refuse to investigate. We won't investigate the claims of Alana these claimants there were people you'll remember popping up saying I knew Brett back then and I can see this. And I have this information right now, all these people just ignored. And then of course, we had Julie sweat, Nick. Do you? Remember, Julie, sweat, Nick. I know that name sounds familiar and Michael avenue. Nadi? We all know, Michael avenue ATI, right? Okay. Julie sweat, Nick. Remember this one she alleged that back in the day. She was at a party where she was basically fed a Mickey, right? You slipped to make you somebody got very very drunk, and that she was taken advantage using in fact gang-raped that is her story. Julie sweat, Nick says she was gang raped, and she said that Brett cavenaugh and his buddy Mark judge were at the party. But they to her knowledge did not participate in her gang rape. Which to me sounds very honest. I mean, you know, if you're gonna lie why stop anyway. So that to me was a credible enough allegation. I mean, she was in school and the plane, and they were all these societas facts around Julie, sweat, Nick that that screamed out veracity truth meets us in the place. Right. It's not like he was from Nevada. Or Nebraska, you know, where some place in as all of a sudden like how did you get into Maryland? At this time me she was at a school at that time. She had friends who could verify shoes part of that social said she was at the party's there around. I mean, she was obviously somebody who was in the place at the time in a place in a position to tell the story was telling so all of those what I call associated or background facts. Right. The to to get us to the point where her actual allegation of this is what happened to me that night in that house. And this is who is in route to me. It's like, okay, go investigate and Michael avenue was her lawyer. Well, the Republicans, of course, as you'll as you know, as the historical record will now reflect didn't investigate Charles Grassley years senior legal analyst time biggie Charles Grassley who is not a lawyer. He's a farmer. So they say he's actually he's actually a mummy. He's a mummy who's been shipped from Iowa. And I don't think they want. Him back because he's been in Washington for about sixty years now, and I think he's mummified. But and he's not a lawyer back. You know, maybe when he was a teenager, you know, back in the eighteen twelve or whatever he you know, he was a farmer but for my part part marijuana sound smug. I really don't. I mean, I go after other people for being smug. I don't wanna do that. But I just think as a matter of wise public policy making is probably a good idea to have a lawyer in charge of the Senate Judiciary committee me it just helps because it's like being a quarterback in the NFL. You have a broader view the playing field. You see all the nooks and crannies in nuances. That's why lawyers run the legal system because it's complicated. There's a lot of reasons why it's complicated. And it's not just a milk people for legal fees to protect their rights. Anyway, before I go down that tangent of a road. Senator Charles Grassley who is not a lawyer who presided over the debacle that was the whole Brett Cavanaugh experience. Charles Grassley now has found a sudden new interest in investigations. Yes. I am not making this stuff up and Mitch McConnell is going to help me out. Mitch I mean, you can't make this stuff up. And and I am not Senator Grassley is now demanding an investigation of Julie, sweat, Nick. And Michael avenue. Saying that they made false statements before the Senate Judiciary committee. All right. So. I'll let you fill in all the punch lines in the snark that you want because that situation. Senator Charles Grassley demands investigation of Jewish sweat, Nick and Mike eleven ninety this comedy material. Just waiting to be had there. I will go with the law part. And that is this. We've seen this in the past where congress for political reasons demands were makes reference to the department of Justice to say investigative prosecute. And the answer is yes, they can ask, but they cannot compel the cannot directly compel. They can sort of compel. I mean, the department of Justice is funded by congress. So when a Senator who happens to be the powerful, Senator of the Senate Judiciary committee, the design mentioned, the chair of the Senate Judiciary committee, whether he's a lawyer Nazi relevant. He's the chair of the Senate Judiciary committee. That's a very powerful position. And if he gets mad at your agency, your your little unit within the agency, he can go over to his buddies on the on the budget committee, and and take out a giant chunk of your budget. And so that's kind of how you know, the congress can coerce the bureaucracy to do what congress wants, but not directly can't directly force them to do this. And so this kind of thing. Thing goes over to the department of Justice, and they have the right to kinda back pocket. The thing and say, yeah. Okay. So then they write him a letter saying we acknowledge your request for an investigation will certainly take a look at. We'll get back to you. And then they back pocket the thing. And and you you don't hear from it ever again. That happens, and it is the right of the department of Justice and more to the point the prosecutors because we're Charles Grassley is really asking for is not an investigation. He wants a prosecution he wants punishment. He wants punitive measures. And so he doesn't want an investigation with prosecution, and no Senator can force a US attorney to prosecute a case. That's the the the independence the, you know checks and balances right the different branches because the prosecutors Rene executive branch and the senators win the legislative branch. So the to the extent the legislative branch has as influence over the legislative branch is through the money is funding the agencies and all of that. But in terms of who's the boss of the US attorney for the district Columbia, it ain't the Senate. It's it's it's the guy in the White House right part of the executive branch through the through the attorney general right because the US juries are part of the department of Justice like the FBI part of the department of Justice, the attorney general's charge the department of Justice and. You know, who's in charge of the you can hear we smiling, you know, who's in charge of the department of Justice right now, he's a little guy with with judge years. He's a little Elfi looking guy. If I were Keebler, I'd file a lawsuit. He's he's he's hurting their trademark. I am not a racist. Well, you know, he is all right one triple eight three two one six zero zero one is our number and David. I'm really glad you waited in Minnesota, you're on the Norman Goldman show. Oh, thank you. Southern michigan. Arman, thank you. Lawyer. Heard something about Don Arizona that the Republican controlled legislators, I just passed a law or trying to pass a law that will take away your free speech. And if you even think about it, they will say about putting you in prison. If you have anything if you protest, and you have a car there. They can take it. It's more like something. You learn. Oh. Or something like that. Sounds like they. Republican party of Arizona. Has now taken the constitution as ripped it up and said, we are the constitution. Now, you have no choice take it or leave it where if you even protest once we will take your car. We will take your property. We were put you in prison, and we will have now that's fun fundamentally on American, right? I mean, just as just as a threshold matter. I mean at first blush, it's like that's un-american at its roots. But it's also unconstitutional. So David what happens when a legislature passes and the governor signs an unconstitutional Bill into law or congress passes and the president signs an unconstitutional Bill into law. What happens? I'm not sure if they will. I'm not sure if they can challenge it over here. The judiciary have you ever heard of the judiciary, man? That's what they do. Yeah. This is the point of the courts, this is one of the really bored and boards of the courts is people who would be affected or are affected. And I think the courts would say if you're subject to it. You're good enough. Standing wouldn't be an issue in that case the courts would hear the case in the courts would say that's an unconstitutional law, and it's it's unconstitutional, and we won't enforce it. And so, you know, that's it. I mean, it's over. That's why we have.

"Let us talk about the latest addition to the United States Supreme court. I know you remember the name Brett off that's who were talking about where at Cavanaugh is been on there a couple of weeks now, and I have been asking have we forgotten about Brad Kavanagh, and I'm very happy to report that no we have not yet forgotten about Brett cabin. And I for my part will never let us forget about brek having off this is a disgrace. And that's nicely. Put. That's putting it nicely. Okay. You'll recall, I know it wasn't that long ago. Your call that the overriding seem about Brad Kavanagh was can we investigate all these complaints. That are coming in. Right. That was the whole point. Was there people were popping up everywhere and they were making allegations. And I have no way of evaluating them. It's not my job, nor is it your job. We have no way of evaluating stuff. People pop up. They make allegations Brad Kavanagh denied him. How do we know who's lying to tell the truth? That's why we do investigations. So everybody was saying could we please take some time and investigate it. Now. Of course, let's not forget the politics. Democrats trying to run out the clock the Republicans trying to Jim through right? It's all about the election coming up. So there's no point to have any claim to principal by anybody here. It was just a raw naked political exercise. We understand that. And so when the Republicans refuse to investigate right, Dr Christine Blasi forge allegations when they did, you know, they had the FBI do the most slapdash comical ridiculous non investigation. And then say see, it's okay now. Right. When they did that what the Republicans did was say we refuse to investigate. We won't investigate the claims of Alana these claimants there people you'll remember popping up saying I knew Brett back then and I can say this. You slip to make somebody, you know, got very very drunk and that she was taken advantage. She in fact, gang-raped that is her story. Julia sweat, Nick says she was gang raped, and she said that Brett cavenaugh and his buddy Mark judge were at the party. But they to her knowledge did not participate in her gang rape. Which to me sounds very honest. I mean, you know, if you're gonna lie why stop anyway. So that to me was a credible enough allegation. I mean, she was in school in the plane, and they were all these associated facts around. Julie sweat, Nick that screamed out veracity truth meets you in the place. Right. It's not like he was from Nevada or or Nebraska, you know, where some place in as all of a sudden like how did you get into Maryland? At this time me she was at a school at that time. She had friends who could verify shoes part of that social said she was at the the parties there around. I mean, she was obviously somebody who was in the place at the time to in a place in a position to tell the story. She was telling so all of those what I call societas or background facts. Right. The to to get us to the point where her actual allegation of this is what happened to me that night in that house. And this is who is in route to me. It's like, okay, go investigate and Michael avenue was her lawyer. Well. Republicans. Of course, you'll as you know, as the historical record will now reflect didn't investigate Charles Grassley year senior legal analyst time biggie Charles Grassley who is not a lawyer. He's a farmer so they say, he's actually he's actually a mummy. He's a mummy who's been shipped from Iowa. And I don't think they want him back because he's been in Washington for about sixty years now, and I think he's mummified. But and he's not a lawyer back. You know, maybe when he was a teenager, you know, back in the eighteen twelve or whatever, I he you know, he was a former but for my part part marijuana sound smug. I really don't. I mean, I go after other people for being smug. I don't wanna do that. But I just think as a matter of wise public policy making is probably a good idea to have a lawyer in charge of the Senate Judiciary committee. It just helps because it's like being a quarterback in the NFL. You have a broader view the Plainfield. You see all the nooks and crannies in nuances. That's why lawyers run the legal system because it's complicated. There's a lot of reasons why it's complicated. And it's not just a milk people for legal fees to protect their rights. Anyway, before I go down that tangent of road. Senator Charles Grassley who is not a lawyer who presided over the debacle that was the whole Brett Cavanaugh experience. "Brad Kavanagh responds to an accusation of sexual assaults. News has confirmed that a woman is accusing supreme court nominee Brett Cavanaugh attempting to sexually assault her at a party while they were both in high school back in the early nineteen eighties. Cavenaugh in a statement denied the claim writing I categorically and unequivocally denied this allegation. He continued I did not do this back in high school or at any time. The top democrat on the Senate Judiciary committee Dianne Feinstein of California has referred a complaint regarding Kevin to the FBI for investigation. The woman who has asked not to be identified. I approach democratic lawmakers in July shortly after President Trump nominated Cavanaugh at the White House Jon decker, Fox News seventeen year old Detroit area girl, accused of killing a classmate was laughing as he chased the victim then stabbed her in the chest and back. That's according to a thirties who will filed first degree murder charges against Hanna Lewis. Apple donate. One million dollars to the Red Cross for Florence relief. "President he has he's made his supreme court pick brad kavanagh i think an outstanding pick i've heard and listened and read the reaction from democrats including tammy baldwin on that pick tell me about your reaction to her reaction to brad kavanagh if predictable this is tammy baldwin the person who continually high turn the voters in the state of wisconsin pretends to be a moderate but an election year but we certainly know that she far out in the extreme i think the president is doing what he said he would do during the campaign and why so many people voted for him he's keeping his promise he told us that he picked from a list of people who are going to uphold the constitution it's exactly what he did with neil gorsuch it's what he's doing right now with the cavanaugh and so i listened to folks around the state near excited about this they want somebody who is going to look at the constitution and that is a living breathing document but as why founding fathers treated it and you know the left doesn't like that they're going to try to malign him as being far and extreme but i believe that if you look at his track record and that's what's most important he has not been an activist judge and baffled senator baldwin watch someone who will uphold her favorite liberal causes instead of the constitution faith has crept into this as well somebody who who's who believes in in in in religion and faith and why that's important all aspects of our lives i see the reactions from some democrats they seem to have a problem with judges who still practice their faith and talk about it the first time we've heard this especially some county baldwin she has a history of trying to block judges based on their faith if you remember pietro to me this is unacceptable unamerican it goes against our first amendment and we can't allow people like tammy baldwin to struck this nomination because judge poverty ause amana fame that flies in the face of every principle if this country was founded on we're talking to state senator leave of luke moore she's a candidate for the nomination to go up against us senator tammy baldwin in november let's talk about ice immigrations customs enforcement lots of strong comments from democrats i just read a quote from kathy myers was running the first congressional district said it's full of a lot of thugs which frankly is shocking that somebody would say that about a group of men and women just trying to do their job tammy baldwin has been somewhat neutral on this position but i'm guessing you have more to say about that well he was hiding on her position because of course mark pokpand who took her seat in congress is all out against ice wanted to abolish it though i was pressing her every day and it's social media asking her for her position and now because of my efforts oppressed finally got a week answer from her on that but she's still refusing interviews about whether you know how she really feels on how she feels about cavanaugh on the supreme court issue that we just talked about so it's just classic candy baldwin she hide you know i'm not going to stay quiet and let her hide from her extreme agenda the people of wisconsin don't believe that she stands for their mainstream principles for our conservative principles and so you know from my perspective she continues to dodge on this issue but i will continue to hold your feet to the fire on it they centrally joining us wtmj take a quick break we come back when i asked you one about the tv ads that a group is running on your behalf against your and just talking about the tough race rent to get that nomination to go up against tammy baldwin state senator leave luke maye you're on the line while with their next here wtmj nine hundred eighty s these with you on this wednesday we are joined by state senator lee of luke mir i read a story in the journal sentinel i've heard i seen the ads group wisconsin x pac.

"So it's all about brad kavanagh but really it's not about brad kavanagh it's not about the supreme court it's about the left trying to figure out a way to rallied their base because they know that this guy is ultimately going to be confirmed thanks to by the way harry reid yeah the nuclear option so the bottom line for me as i sit back and i eat my popcorn and i watch all of the hysteria because it is entertaining to say the least it's all a bunch of vitriol and wise but it's entertaining any way to see chuck schumer and some of these other folks dianne feinstein out there screaming as well you got elizabeth warren i mean you name it they're all just basically telling lies about bread cabin and they're using wise and exaggerations and it's all about roe versus wade but to me it's even bigger than that it's all about the fact that their base the democrats and the liberals their base they are defeated nothing has worked against president trump they've tried everything they've tried the hysteria over the tax returns they've tried the emoluments clause they've tried this battle over the president with the cons you remember that story they've got the lamar ball situation they've got stormy daniels they've got all of these controversies which i would say or non traverse city's all these controversies and nothing has stock it's like president trump is is the teflon president he's like teflon don the more that they screamed the higher his ratings go up but they just can't figure it out and so they just keep slinging crap against the wall hoping something's gonna stick you know the last couple of weeks it's been all about the kids being separated at the border not much has happened the president and his approval ratings continued to rise and so now brad kavanagh just gives them another reason why they can go into mass hysteria because their their base basis defeated and their base is just not feeling very good in my opinion about the midterm elections and so now this gives the gives them the opportunity to to bring relevance to to their party they tried to bring people to the polls here in the midterm elections because you know what right now the economy's doing well we've won the war on terror things are going really really well and so what the left is doing is they're really trying to bring about this mass hysteria about roe versus wade in about how this guy brad kavanagh is suddenly going to interfere with a bunch of women who are going to start dying because they're now going to be getting illegal abortions i'm that's what the left is saying they're literally saying that women are going to die the second that this guy takes his his oath the second that he's confirmed ignoring the fact that he himself brett cavenaugh himself even told chuck schumer way back in two thousand six he would respect the binding precedent out the supreme court when it came to roe versus wade did he seemingly would not vote to overturn roe versus wade and he's been saying that since two thousand six so this is one of those situations where you've got all of this all of this hysteria and all of this controversy conjured up by the left to.
