"That's a wasted life, and that's Brad Winstrom said about Roberto Clementes why he went to Nicaragua when he didn't have to. And ever, since then of course, many Americans have literally on purpose given up their lives for others and some other engage in conduct to better others lives. and. That's their goal and I don't care if you're a teacher if you're a cop if you're a firefighter if you're a plumber. If you, somehow you have an opportunity to better someone's life, and you fail to take advantage of that. Your life is wasted. I could not imagine having anyone say it any better Christopher. Smitherman I talked to him as he left, and at some point I'm going to I've gotta go. We're going to have breakfast lunch and dinner in the black community. I'M GONNA. Get my haircut in the black community I'm GonNa live in to some extent with him and the black community to reach across the divide which we must do and that's why. And these times leadership has got to arise, and can't be you live there I live here. You're wrong and I'm right. Because the great majority of us over ninety five percent of US black, white, male, female, liberal conservative, we all want the same thing which is a better country and a better life for everyone. Now there's another category of individual, completely obscure, but nonetheless present. Who Doesn't want that? That at all and and Mike My touchtone Susan Rice who is Barack Hussein Obama's national security adviser, and you see her on some of the Sunday morning..

"Seven hundred w Scott slowdown. Ken bruin? That's how we roll on this Monday. Good morning. Good Monday to you. And let's get the week going because there's not a damn thing going on with regards to President Trump the Muller investigation, or what may transpire among those around him. It is what we like to revert to in the biz as a busy busy week and the motor report, which has been at the epicentre of everything for the last two years may indeed come down at this point this week be still my beating heart. Now. The question is does the new attorney general say, well, yeah, here it is. Here's all seven hundred ninety thousand pages of it. Or does. He just say let condense this down to just one page of white paper, and that will be a battle. If indeed that happens with his pulse on all of this for the radio network. One of the great correspondence. Aaron Katersky is joining us now here on seven hundred wwl w to scope out what could be a defining week for President Donald Trump, the house that is now controlled by the Democrats, and how that affects us out here in the heartland. So Erica Turkey. Welcome back to seven hundred wwl w how are you on this Monday doing fine? And I think like anybody else, you know, you anticipate a report that may or may not be ultimately satisfying, depending on your on your political bend. It may or may not be as thorough as you'd like it to be. And so we're we're all just really waiting to see what the so-called Muller report is going to look like, but to be clear, we don't even know that it's going to be a report he has chosen until now too much of his investigative speaking through the the complaints and indictments that have been returned against the three dozen defendants. Have been caught in this investigation over the last two years. Erin, Erin, Erin. Really? It may not be a report at all. I mean, everybody's anticipating this this voluminous piece of document that we're going to get from this guy. And it may not be a report at all. Well, we don't know we don't know whether it's going to be a formal report. Whether it's going to be summary of the the court action so far. There's no prescription for how this is supposed to be. We do know at some point something will be delivered to the attorney general William bar, and that will signal that Robert Mueller is done with his work. The cases that are being prosecuted, we'll continue, but the book we don't have a formula for how this is all supposed to go Muller's work will cease it will be taken over the prosecution of of the the cases he'll be taken over by US attorney's offices, and then it will be up to the attorney general to decide how and whether to release to the public. I think the reason why many of us those of us who are veterans for veteran. I think why many of us feel it might be is just because of what went down with Ken Starr report back in ninety which again was one of those voluminous reports. But I guess each one of these guys handles these kinds of things differently. Well, that's true. And and by statute, the only obligation that the attorney general has his turnover. A at least a summary to the chairman and ranking members of the house and Senate Judiciary committees. So you could imagine that it would then fall to congress to release publicly. But again, what form that takes alternately? And and whether that will be a presentation, whether they'll be testimony, whether it will be just something noted in the Federal Register again, all that sort of remains to be seen. But the, of course, the Democrats are pushing for more Republicans aren't pushing for anything. And and. Depending on your view. You can already predict what is going to be said either. The report says no collusion what a waste of time. Or it's somehow damning, and let's do more. So this could come at what a week this could be Manafort could be sentenced again with his case in the district. Washington DC's district court out there Roger stone could get his trial date. Michael flynn. Rick gates. We could find out this week if Moller's done with them or not I mean, this this is this could be the epicenter of all things legal and political in Washington. Maybe for the first time in twenty five years. Well, I mean, it it it does have that feel because there is a sense of dania monta the whole thing. But in a sense, the mother report is really kind of the the end of the beginning, not the beginning of the end because congressional Democrats have already signaled that they're going to press forward with their investigations. Now, regardless of what the mother report shows. So they've already as you know, issued letters to one eighty one individuals. Yeah. So there there's more. There's clearly more more to come. I it's hard to handicap all of this. I know because you're dealing with a lot of moving parts. It's very fluid the goal posts keep moving on all of this thing all of this. I would heart. Aaron Katersky is our guest from ABC news. It would hard. It would be hard to think that this is going to be over all of this is going to be over before the two thousand twenty elections. I think the Democrats wanted want to drag it right to the election day, but it's hard even in the in the best in the almost optimum circumstances, regardless of that twenty twenty eight November. I don't I don't think this is going to be over by then to you know, I don't think so. And I think there is a kind of the the reality is that the Democrats would like to keep it going. But. I just given the at least what we know of the scope of what they're looking at, you know, with all these individuals and going to be once a week once a month, they have a new hearing. And so I think it does keep it keep it in the spotlight perhaps by political design and. And so they've promised a different kind of oversight than than under the Republican controlled house. And that seems to me what they're getting you. What are the most distinctive voices in radio? And it's great to have you on arrogance. Her ski ABC news. Thank you so much for your time. Thanks for having me. Yeah. He does. I'm not I don't throw out gratuitous compliments like that. Well, this is what's going down in the next five days. You could have this report out. That is your heard Katersky say it may not even be a report it just might be done with this investigation done with that investigation. Here's what I found. Here's what we've uncovered. And there there have been. This is mostly coming from the right there have been some say educated guesses that this will be more anecdotal that this will be more stories that that Muller will tell as opposed to finger pointing to damning evidence. Well, we talked to Donald Trump junior. And that that discussion took place on thirty December two thousand eighteen and this is what you know, one of those things as opposed to this happened that happened. He's guilty. He's guilty. This happened. I can tell you for my time in Washington DC. It doesn't work that way. It really doesn't. And a lot of this is left up to the mind of whomever is reading this. And a lot of this is Qatar risky says winds up in courts because you still have the southern district court Manhattan that hasn't had its say yet. It's it's gone through Michael Cohen. But what else is out there in the southern district of the of Manhattan that might lead to things that might bring them to Donald Trump junior doorstep or the president's doorstep. We don't know, but we do know that this report is coming down the homestretch could be out this week Manafort who got four years from that judge in Virginia. Now could be looking at not just four but significantly more jail time when district court judge Amy Berman Jackson gets a hold of him for a whole new set of charges, and that will be at some point this week. So he's going to get a second prison term dropped on him from the four years. He already got. And then you've got what's going on with Michael Flynn? And Rick gates status reports are due for and these guys were two of Muller's biggest cooperators Flynn and gates. And then that will be a signal whether the special counsel is tap them for all the information that it can get in other words, when when when you when you get a status report this week on Fleming gates, and what their sentencing may look like, then you know that. Okay. Well, we're done with them. We're done with them. So if you follow politics in you, you view, this stuff is sport. And I do because politics is blood sport. It's fascinating to me. It really is. Because the dams aren't going to let this go. They've got control of the house. They can subpoena this subpoena that investigate this investigate that it's going nowhere after it leaves the house because the Republicans still have control of the Senate. And of course, the Republicans have the White House and the guy in the White House can issue pardons, which it sounds like maybe on the table for Manafort. So if you put all of this all of that on just kind of like on a thanksgiving feast table. You rarely get a week like this. It could be very very interesting. But I wanted to get that out of the chute because. I think you're going to see and hear a lot about that as as the week progresses. Both on talk radio both on cable television news and on your local television channel choice here in the greater Cincinnati area. So there you go it's nine seventeen. Scott Sloan is out today. I'm in. I'm Ken brew. We've got a we've got a really echo electic show that we've planned for you today. All because of Jimmy sandy who is the heart and soul of this show. We're going to get into the the plane crash that happened over the weekend. And why that could just be devastating news. Not just for the people that were killed on that plane crash in just how horrific that must be for their families, but also the ripple effect. It will have globally and economically. A Boeing is in real trouble today on on the economic front the the Bell's going to ring here at about twelve minutes. And it's projected at Boeing shares will be down almost ten percent today, which will have a huge impact on on the Dow today, so we're going to keep an eye on that also on the show today. This is something I don't get. But you know, it's a phenomenon now of a whole new generation, but binge drinking binge drinking, which is very very I'm told very popular with millennials in Jax or wires, e whatever transpired before them. It could actually change your DNA chain. And if that's the case in you're doing your your kids doing it, you need to get your arms around this. You really do. And we're going to address that topic. Also on the show today coming up at eleven o'clock, I'll be joined by he represents Ohio to Ohio district to US Representative Brad win strep. Will join me this this this this resolution that was passed that was supposed to be antisemitic and how and how they were going to condemn the antisemitic. Comments of this congresswoman from Minnesota got watered down to a point where it just banned. All or condemned, all hate speech. I mean, really you can't do something specific to a specific problem. You've got to water it down to a point where this this congresswoman Ilan, Omar and a couple of her other fellow congress men and women are now celebrating this as an anti Muslim hate speech Bill. I mean, really. Really? So I'm gonna ask Brad winstrom about that. And also about this whole thing with with the border, and how the house is going to block Trump from declaring an emergency. And now, they're four Republican senators that are not going to vote in favor of it. Which means it's dead, which means Trump could veto it, which means it's like yada yada, yada, all over again. So we're going to get into the middle of that. Straight ahead, guaranteed. Scott Sloan out, Ken Bruin. But glad you're with me on this glorious Monday. What a week we're going to have the sun is that we haven't seen that. I think since Halloween, and we're going to kiss seventy degrees on Thursday. Now, how can you not get excited about that? It's Monday, it's seven hundred wwl w and we continue on this station. That doesn't beat from my heart doesn't beat for your heart. It beats for I heart seven hundred wwl w. A lot of people say to me lose the weight. I says Andro four hundred every day, I'm gonna figure forever that was wall. Talking about Andro four hundred now listen to a Bob has to say when you listen to your radio commercials. You say that's not possible. But since I've experienced it your commercials aren't strong enough. I am seventy six and I've had a belly for way too long. My whole body is shrinking my energy level has gone up think differences, Andrew it's great stuff by tried other products and nothing happened guys..

"The best of the Sean Hannity show. When news breaks, you get the inside story that no one else has and the behind the scenes chatter that the mainstream media doesn't even know about this is the Sean Hannity show. But this point the gunman's reloading this private and fifty or sixty shots, it we can't really see them that. Well, but my gut feeling was. I decide to stay or run at this point. I think he's advancing towards us. People are moving behind different buildings there. Most everybody's closer to the gunman than than I am. I bet district, but the staffer that made it over the fence we're trying to decide to stay or go. And at this point. You know, the the capitol police began returning fire. I do believe that without the Capitol Hill. Police have been a massacre. All right. That was the day. You may remember the terrible shooting in the ball field. Where congressman Steve Scalise nearly lost his life that day and ram Paul. And and so many others MO Brooks and many others calling in telling us what had happened, and I knew behind the scenes that they from friends of mine that it was far worse than was originally reported as Steve Scalise was going through multiple transfusions literally as life hanging in the balance. We saw courage under fire that is so inspiring. When you watch these two capitol police officers walk literally making themselves an open target going up against the sniper is hidden camouflaged and bind offense at cetera, and they've got pistols, and they're going up against the long rifle. It is there's no competition. They they almost if it could have ended in a catastrophe, but you see such incredible courage and heroism among our brave men and women in law enforcement. Sometimes it just is so inspiring. Anyway, Steve Scalise is with us. He's actually written a new book about it. It's back in the game. And the majority whips remarkable fight for his life is out tomorrow. And I wanted to talk to him a little bit about this ask him about his thoughts on what's going on in Florida. And what the endless investigation now. Now, it's all being revealed what the Democrats are gonna do congressman. How're you doing last time? I saw you. You're still struggling you are walking around with support. Obviously. And you said you had a hard time with one of your legs and your foot that you didn't feel it is I if I remember correctly when I saw you Sean first grade to be back with you happy Veterans Day to you. I. Yeah. I gotta take those men and women who sacrificed you talked about the brave capitol police officers David bailing, crystal Reiner risk their lives to save us. I wouldn't be here today without all of those those heroes and the miracles God that that helped me get through the worst times. And you know, I'm still doing two days a week of physical therapy. But definitely through the worst stop at by far and feeling great back to work, and just you know, my my left lake has the most habits with a bullet went in. And my left foot. Still don't have any feeling in that. But I was able to get down from two crutches out down to one crotch. And ultimately the next goals be able to walk without crutches. How how did you walk? How do you walk when you can't feel your foot? I mean, I have a brace on my left foot. Right. You know may have to live with that. But that's okay. I can you know, I won't be able to run around as much, but I can do all the other things about her. It was amazing one year later. It was the first play the game. And it was one of the best place ever when you're playing second base. And you got the guy out. I mean that was that was that was really special to watch. I just you know, the amazing thing is all of our vets. You know, we're talking about what today is, and you know, what observations observing Veterans Day, and I'm thinking about all these guys that come back from war wounded like you or worse. Benno? Walter reed. Ben to Bethesda, I've I've met many many many of these people over the years building homes for heroes. They're all good friends of mine, and they come and watch the TV show and these guys for the rest of their lives here, either disfigured. They're blind. They've lost arms. They've lost legs. Sometimes multiple arms and legs. And just. They have to go on the rest of their lives. We're not thinking about that. Yeah. You've got to just pick it up. And you know, what I get to serve with some heroes like that too. And Bryan math to a double amputee from Florida dresser with he just everyday wakes up, and he's just a happy guy because he's lucky to be alive. And never complains it just keeps going about his business. Multiple. Live to you know, I've got some limitations. But you know, who doesn't didn't you know, you just you just learn and frankly, a lot of the chances scientists medicine is made because of aren't from our men and women in uniform, the heroes that come back home and have had some different kind of injuries. And you think about it, you know, during Vietnam a lot of the people who died during Vietnam because of the advances that have been able to be made in science and medicine may have made it today and a lot of them to make it to come back home. But they they have serious injuries need to do a better job of taking care of them. Whether it's the VA, or, you know, other you know, other hospitals to make sure that they have the care they need. But but that advancement in medicine helped people like me to live Brad winstrom medical doctor from Ohio's a congressman. He was on the ball field that day. He was a combat surgeon in Iraq inside very similar entering combat. So what I went through when he immediately came to to put a tourniquet on me. And and my trauma surgeon told me if I wouldn't have arrived at the hospital with that turn it could apply just correctly. Like, it was by Dr winstrom, I would have never made it, and I remember going over to somebody. I do I I don't remember who am I remember them? Telling me privately that is far worse than that that first twenty four hour period or maybe forty eight hours. I don't remember completely that you had had what how many transfusions your bad shape? Yeah. You know, I showed up with with zero blood pressure and my trauma surgeon walked me through all of this after a few weeks after and little, you know, very few people that show up with with that low of a blood pressure make it, and I lost all my blood almost they they had to put twenty pints. Twenty units of blood in me that the normal human body takes about nine. So they work as they were putting blood in. It was just coming out because I had so many. You know, so many wounds that were bullets broken. I over one hundred pieces inside of me, and we're just ripping through different different organs in different. So I had lots of leading that they had to go and find and they put blood and they just kinda squirting through. And there's another whole they've got to go and so shot. So it took unbelievable weren't by a team of surgeons. Luckily, they they they were successful. Yeah. Thank god. For that. Steve Scalise is with us, by the way, he's got a brand new book called back in the game. And his remarkable fight for his life out tomorrow. It's up on Hannity dot com. Amazon dot com. If you want to get a copy, I just went through the as of now, remember, the Democrats really didn't run on anything, except they hate Trump. They kept telling Maxine Waters don't say we're going to impeach him. They wouldn't talk about illegal immigration in any way shape manner reform that was the advice of the center for American progress and John Podesta and to date. We have eighty five specific what they're calling house. Democrats preparing a subpoena cannon were all Trump related probes. And. Everybody from Pelosi to Adam Schiff to Jerrold Nadler to Maxine Waters. I mean, there's endless not eight where up to eighty five examples. Now, what is your reaction to that? And and how to had to Republicans get anything done. How does the country move? When that's their only focus is to destroy Trump. Look, Sean, we knew this during the campaign that you know, they they hated the fact that Donald Trump got elected president, you know, with the things we love about working with President Trump so much of the things that they despise that he's actually carrying out the things he promised during the campaign rewarded for that. But yet they wouldn't talk about this and those races where they were spending millions of dollars per race gonna flip seats from Republican and democrat. The the candidates would always say, I'm pro-life and procon and I'm against. Well, guess what? They're very first vote as a member of congress, Sean is going to be for speaker. And if they vote for Nancy Pelosi, literally, they would breaking their promise to their voters on the very first of all of the cast a lot of people are gonna be watching those kind of votes that in subsequent. But what did you Donald Trump saying that if Nancy needs a couple of votes, she deserves that position we might get a couple of Republican votes for her. Well, look, I mean, she's she's the one that they they knew was going to be speaker. They would they didn't want to swing districts, you notice a lot of Democrats who run these fifty fifty districts that were running didn't want Nancy Pelosi campaign for them. They they wanted her money enact Lou money and Michael Bloomberg money, but they didn't want to talk about gun control. They didn't want to talk about the pro abortion agenda taxpayer money for Planned Parenthood. They didn't talk about any of that. And yet that's gonna be on full display. And like you said the obstruct resist harassed the president agenda with subpoenas and maybe even impeachment. That's where I think they're going to go because that's how far left they've moved as a party. But that's not where the country is. And and I think overtly that's gonna be something that they still have problems if that's the direct. Well, the good news is that we kept the Senate. What are your thoughts on Florida? I'm watching all of these shenanigans all these laws that would not adhere to a history of all of this going on in the same people. In in that position. It's mind numbing to me that that could have happened. And what are your thoughts on where we are down there? It's it's corruption and in voters theft going on before you very is. And I talked to Matt gaetz yesterday. And I know you've been talking about H throughout this entire thing. And you know, there are laws that are on the books for a reason. It's it's to protect every vote from being for for being counted you want every vote should be counted. But it's also to protect and make sure that if you cast a vote and somebody wants to walk in with a stack of a box of a thousand votes that nobody cast that those thousand votes don't offset your vote and your other nine hundred ninety nine friends who voted legally. And so that's what's at stake here too. Is the sanctity of the vote one man one vote is the law, and if somebody's trying to bring in votes fabricate votes that never happened because they see their fifteen thousand votes short, so go find sixteen thousand bucks. Under- bed that were never cast on election day. That's not the law. It might happen in banana republics, but it shouldn't happen in the United States America. Well, congratulations on the book congressman Steve Scalise back in the game. We're glad you're back in the game. And I know you're going to be out and about and doing a book tour and thanks so much for stopping by. We're glad you're healthy. It's going to be very interesting. Everything that I warn people about it will happen in the house. But the good news is they don't have the Senate. They won't be able to accomplish those things. The sad part is getting things done that will be good for people that that's going to be put to the side and hatred of the president will be at the forefront and it's going to be so they'll overreach. It's going to be fun following them. And every day, we will be all over it. So Steve Scalise. Thanks for being with us. Sean. Thanks, eight hundred nine four one Sean if you want to be part of the program..

Sean, we knew this during the campaign that you know, they they hated the fact that Donald Trump got elected president with the things we love about working with President Trump so much of the things that they despise that he's actually carrying out the things he promised during the campaign. You should be rewarded for that? But yet, you know, they wouldn't talk about this and those races where they were spending millions of dollars per race gonna flip seat from Republican democrat. They would they didn't want her in a lot of the swings district's you notice a lot of Democrats who run these fifty fifty districts that were running didn't want Nancy Pelosi campaign in for him. They they wanted her money in lieu money and Michael Bloomberg money, but they didn't wanna talk about gun control. They didn't want to talk about the pro abortion agenda taxpayer money for Planned Parenthood. They didn't want to talk about any of that. And yet that's gonna be on full display. And like you said the obstruct resist harassed the president gender with subpoenas and maybe even impeachment. That's where I think they're gonna ultimately go because that's how far left they've moved as a party. But that's not where the country is. And and I think overtly that's going to be something that they they'll have problems if that's the direct. Well, the good news is that we kept the Senate. What are your thoughts on Florida? I'm watching all of these shenanigans all these laws that would not adhere to a history of all of this going on and the same people. In in that position. It's mind numbing to me that that could have happened. And what are your thoughts on where we are down there? It's it's corruption and voters theft going on before your very eyes, and I talked to Matt gaetz yesterday. And you know, I know you've been talking about h drought this entire thing. And you know, there are laws that are on the books for a reason. It's it's to protect every vote from being for for being counted you want every vote should be counted up. But it's also to protect and make sure that if you cast a vote and somebody wants to walk in with a stack of a box of a thousand votes, but nobody cast that those thousand votes don't offset your vote and your other nine hundred ninety nine friends who voted legally. And so that's what's at stake here to the sanctity of the one man one vote is the law, and if somebody's trying to bring in votes fabricate votes that never happened because they see that their fifteen thousand votes short. So you go find sixteen thousand. Boxes under a bed that were never cast on election day. It's gonna be fun following them. And every day, we will be all over it. So Steve Scalise. Thanks for being with us. Sean..

But this point the gunman's reloading this fifty or sixty shots, it we can't really seem that. Well, but my gut feeling was I've gotta decide to stay or run at this point. I think he's at Banting towards us. People are moving behind different buildings there. Most everybody's closer to the gunman then than I am I'm at a district, but the staffer that made it over the fence, we're trying to decide to stay or go and at this point. You know, the the capitol police began returning fire. I do believe that without the Capitol Hill. Police have been a massacre. All right. That was the day. You may remember the terrible shooting in the ball field. Where congressman Steve Scalise nearly lost his life that day and ram Paul. And and so many others Mowbray and many others calling in telling us what had happened, and I knew behind the scenes that they from friends of mine that it was far worse than was originally reported as Steve Scalise was going through multiple transfusions literally as life hanging in the balance. We saw courage under fire that is so inspiring. When you watch these two capitol police officers walk literally making themselves an open target going up against a sniper whose hidden camouflaged in a bind, offense, etc. And they've got pistols, and they're going up against the long rifle. It is there's no competition. They almost. If it could have ended in a catastrophe, but you see such incredible courage and heroism among our brave men and women in law enforcement. I saw you. You're still struggling you are walking around you with support, obviously. Happy Veterans Day too. I know. And women who sacrificed you talked about the brave capitol police officers David bailing, crystal Bryner risk their lives to save us. I wouldn't be here today without all of those those heroes and the miracles true. God that that helped me get through the worst times. And you know, I'm still doing two days a week of physical therapy. But definitely through the worst of it by far and feeling great back to work, and just you know, my my left lake has the most habits where the bullet went in. And my left foot. Still don't have any feeling in that. But I was able to get down from two crutches out down to one crotch, and ultimately, my next goals be able to walk without crutches gap. Howdy. Howdy. Walk. How do you walk when you can't feel your foot? I mean, I have a brace on my left foot. Right. You know may have to live with that. But that's okay. I can you know, I'll I'll I'll I won't be able to run around as much, but I can do all the other things about her. It was amazing one year later. It was the first play the game. And it was one of the best place ever when you were playing second base. And you got the guy out. I mean that was that was that was really special to watch. Sometimes multiple arms and legs. And they have to go on the rest of their lives. We're not thinking about that. Yeah. You've got to just pick it up, and you know, and I get to serve with some heroes like that too. And Bryan math to the double amputee from Florida wrestler with you know, he just everyday wakes up, and he's just a happy guy because he's lucky to be alive. So I had lots of leading that they had to go and find put blood, and they just you know, kinda squirting through. And there's another whole they've got to go and so shot. So it took unbelievable work by a team of surgeons. Luckily, they they they were successful. Yeah. Thank god. For that. Steve Scalise is with us, by the way, he's got a brand new book out called back in the game. And his remarkable fight for his life out tomorrow. It's up on Hannity dot com. Amazon dot com. If you want to get a copy, I just went through the as of now, remember, the Democrats really didn't run on anything, except they hate Trump. They kept telling Maxine Waters don't say we're gonna impeach him. They wouldn't talk about illegal immigration in any way shape manner reform that was the advice of the center for American progress in John Podesta and to date. We have eighty five specific what they're calling house. Democrats preparing a subpoena cannon were all Trump related probes. And everybody from Pelosi to Adam Schiff to Jerrold Nadler to Maxine Waters. I mean, there's endless not eight where up to eighty five examples now. What is your reaction to that? And and how to how to Republicans get anything done. How does the country move? When that's their only focus is to destroy Trump. Look, Sean, we knew this during the campaign that you know, they they hated the fact that Donald Trump got elected president, you know, with the things that we love about working with President Trump so much of the things that they despise that he's actually carrying out the things he promised during the campaign were rewarded for that? But yet, you know, they wouldn't talk about this and those races where they were spending millions of dollars per race gonna flip seats from Republican democrat. The the candidates would always say, oh, I'm pro-life and procon and I'm against us. Well, guess what? They're very first vote as a member of congress, Sean is going to be for speaker. And if they vote for Nancy Pelosi, literally, they were breaking their promise to their voters on the very first one that they cast a lot of people are gonna be watching those kind of oats that vote and subsequent. But what did you think Donald Trump saying that if Nancy needs a couple of votes, she deserves that position we might get a couple of Republican votes for her? Well, look, I mean, she's she's the one that they they knew was going to be speaker. They would they didn't want her in a lot of the swings district's you notice a lot of Democrats who run these fifty fifty districts that were running didn't want Nancy Pelosi campaign in for him. They wanted her money enact Lou money and Michael Bloomberg money, but they didn't want to talk about gun control. They didn't want to talk about the pro abortion agenda of taxpayer money for Planned Parenthood. They didn't want to talk about any of that. And yet that's gonna be on full display. And like you said the obstruct resist harass the president agenda with subpoenas and maybe even impeachment. That's where I think they're gonna ultimately go because that's how far left they've moved as a party. But that's not where the country is. And and I think overtly that's going to be something that they they'll have problems if that's the direct. Well, the good news is we kept the Senate. What are your thoughts on Florida? I'm watching all of these shenanigans all these laws that would not adhere to a history of all of this going on and the same. People in in that position. It's mind numbing to me that that could have happened. And what are your thoughts on where we are down there? It's it's corruption and in voter staffed going on before your very eyes, and I talked to Matt gaetz yesterday. And I know you've been talking about drought this entire thing. And you know, there are laws that are on the books for a reason. It's it's to protect every votes from being for for being counted you want every vote should be counted up. But it's also to protect and make sure that if you cast a vote and somebody wants to walk in with a stack of a box of thousand votes that nobody cast that those votes don't offset your vote and your other nine hundred ninety nine French who voted legally. And so that's what's at stake here too. Is the sanctity of the vote one man one vote is the law, and if somebody's trying to bring in votes fabricate votes that never happened because they see that their fifteen thousand votes short. So you go find sixteen thousand. Boxes under a bed that were never cast on election day. That's not the law. That's illegal. It might happen banana republics, but it shouldn't happen in the United States America. Well, congratulations on the book congressman Steve Scalise back in the game. We're glad you're back in the game. And I know you're gonna be out and about and doing a book tour and thanks so much for stopping by. It's gonna be fun following them. And every day, we will be all over it. So Steve Scalise. Thanks for being with us. Sean. Thanks, eight.

"Breaks, you get the inside story that no one else has and the behind the scenes chatter that the mainstream media doesn't even know about this is the Sean Hannity show. But this point the gunman's reloading this fifty or sixty shots, it we can't really see that. Well, but my gut feeling was. I've gotta decide to stay or run at this point. I think he's advancing towards us. People are moving behind different buildings there. Most everybody's closer to the gunman then than I am I'm at a district, but the staffer that made it over the fence, we're trying to decide stay or go. And at this point. You know, the the capitol police began returning fire. I do believe that without the Capitol Hill. Police have been a massacre. All right. That was the day. You may remember the terrible shooting in the ballfields. Where congressman Steve Scalise nearly lost his life that day and ram Paul. And and so many others MO Brooks and many others calling in and telling us what had happened, and I knew behind the scenes that from friends of mine that it was far worse than was originally reported as Steve Scalise was going through multiple transfusions literally as life hanging in the balance. We saw courage under fire that is so inspiring. When you watch these two capitol police officers walk literally making themselves an open target going up against the sniper whose hidden camouflaged and bind offense etcetera, and they've got pistols, and they're going up against the long rifle. It is there's no competition. They almost if it could have ended in a catastrophe, but you see such incredible courage and heroism among our brave men and women in law enforcement. Sometimes it just is so inspiring. Anyway, Steve Scalise is with us actually written a new book about it. It's back in the game. And the majority whips remarkable fight for his life is out tomorrow. And I wanted to talk a little bit about this ask him about his thoughts on what's going on in Florida. And with the endless investigation now. Now, it's all being revealed what the Democrats are going to do. Congressman how are you doing last time? I saw you you still struggling you are walking around with support, obviously. And you said you had a hard time with one of your legs and your foot that you didn't feel it is I if I remember correctly when I saw you. Yeah. Sean prescribe to be back with you. Happy Veterans Day to you. Amen. I. Thanks for those men and women who sacrificed you talked about the brave capitol police officers David bailing, crystal Reiner risk their lives to save us. I wouldn't be here today without all of those those heroes and the miracles true Berrocal God that that helped me get through the worst times. And you know, I'm still doing two days a week of physical therapy. But definitely through the worst stop it by far and feeling great back to work and just you know, my my left lake has the most habits. Where the bullet went in. And my left foot still don't have any feeling in that. But I was able to get down from two crutches now down to one crotch, and ultimately, the next goals be able to walk without crutches gap. How do how walk? How do you walk when you can't feel your foot? I mean, I have a brace on my left foot. You know may have to live with that. But that's okay. I can you know, I'll I'll I'll I won't be able to run around as much, but I can do all the other things matter. It was amazing one year later. I was the first play the game. And it was one of the best place ever when you were playing second base. And you got the guy out. I mean that was that was that was really special to watch. I just you know, the amazing thing is all of our vets. You know, we're talking about what today is, and you know, what observations observing Veterans Day, and I'm thinking about all these guys that come back from war wounded like you or worse bene-. Walter Reed Bethesda, I've I've met many many many of these people over the years building homes for heroes. They're all good friends of mine, and they come and watch the TV show and these guys for the rest of their lives here. Either. Disfigured. They're blind. They've lost arms. They've lost legs. Sometimes multiple arms and legs. And they have to go on the rest of their lives. We're not thinking about that. Yeah. You've got just pick it up, and I get to serve with heroes like that too. And O'Brien math to the double amputee from Florida. Yes, sir. You know, he just everyday wakes up, and he's just a happy guy because he's lucky to be alive. And never complains it just keeps going about his business. Also. Alive to you know, I've got some limitations. But you know, who doesn't didn't you just you just learn frankly, a lot of the Vance's sciences medicine is because of what we learn from our men and women in uniform, the heroes that come back home and have had some different kind of injuries. And you think about it, you know, during Vietnam a lot of the people who died during Vietnam because of the advances that have been able to be made in science and medicine may have made it today and a lot of them do make it to come back home. But they they have serious injuries. And we need to do a better job of taking care of them through. Whether it's to be a or, you know, other you know, other hospitals to make sure that they have the care they need. But that advancement in medicine helped people like me to live Brad winstrom medical doctor from Ohio is a congressman. He was on the ball field that day. He was a combat surgeon in Iraq inside very similar entering combat. What I went through when he immediately came to to put a tourniquet on me. And and my trauma surgeon told me if I wouldn't have arrived at the hospital with that turn it could apply just correctly. Like it was by by Dr winstrom, I would have never made it, and I remember calling over to somebody. I I don't remember who. And I remember them telling me privately that is far worse than that that I twenty four hour period or maybe forty eight hours. I don't remember completely that you had had what how many transfusions you're bad shape. Yeah. You know, I I showed up with with zero blood pressure and my trauma surgeon walked me through all of this after a few weeks after and little you don't very few people that show up with with that low of a blood pressure make it, and I lost all of my blood almost they they had to twenty pints twenty units of blood in me the. Normal human body takes about nine. So they were as they were putting blood in. It was just coming out because I had so many, you know. So many wounds that were about the bullet broken high over one hundred pieces inside of me, and we're just ripping through different different organs in different. "No longer the voice in the common man or the conscience of the American people are now the designated survivor. Let's continue now. Bernard Kerik of animal. I show several times. Former New York City top cop New York City police Commissioner schedule be on CNN last night. He walked off the CNN set because the network had politicized its coverage of mail bomb center. Top Democratic Party leaders Kerry who led the NYPD during the nine eleven terror attacks told host, Rebecca monster. Joel Pollock then he pulled out his microphone and ear pace. And walked off the set minutes before his scheduled live panel discussion regarding the mail bombs Carrick said that I was going to be on CNN. We're supposed talk about the investigation seizure of these devices. And right in the beginning of the set Saturday suspended us, and they went to John Brennan who was speaking somewhere. And then went on a ten minute ran against Trump. Trump was responsible for the bombs and somebody to lead the New York City through the worst terror attack our nation's history. Now's the time. To unify behind the president and a fine. Those responsible for this appalling behavior took off the ear pace in Mike and left. I can't stand. It turns my stomach when these people are politicizing a criminal act and transferring criminal guilt from the wrongdoer to an innocent party and absolutely true. Cannot be anymore. There's vicious malignant rhetoric on both sides, but mainly on the left. There is some on the right? Some any white guy who marches around Charlottesville southern city at night carrying Tiki torches screaming about blacks and using slurs against Jews should be publicized as a clown. I don't know if it's criminal probably not as the first amendment marketing around public streets. But nonetheless that happened what about a year ago, and then the next day some other white racist. Drove a car and killed. A woman now he's facing federal hate crime charges and murder and all kinds of stuff any should the president's rhetoric at times is a little bit over the top. So it's just body slamming a reporter some of that stuff. Okay. It's political theater but Harley can anyone fairly say that causes someone knocked in a criminal fashion anymore than I blame Democrats for the shooting of congressman Stephen Scalise. I don't blame Democrats for that the rhetoric from the left as much worse and the behavior from the left has always been much worse into behavior on the right? That's the way is starkly. It's it's worked when American cities burned in the nineteen sixties and seventies. Those are left is that did that when Hillary Clinton talks we will not be civil to after we get power. Let's be uncivil. What the hell does that mean when Eric colder the chief law enforcement officer under Obama saying when they go when they go low we kick them when their down that's incentivizing? Violence US Senator rand Paul was attacked by neighbor, he thinks for political purposes. But certainly congressman Stephen Scalise was shot by that hydrates in character from L annoy because he was a Republican. He was hunted down and the references in his Facebook and Twitter account counts clearly demonstrated he traveled six hundred miles from Illinois to Washington to hunt down and kill Republicans. That was a one day story the media quickly drop because it didn't fit did it and the and the violence perpetrated against US senators and congressmen in airports and restaurants in elevators is despicable. It wasn't a big story at the time. But when Republican Senator Susan Collins voted for Brad, Kavanagh, Seren or other an might have been other powders were sent to her office and. She was she was victimized by that and sought to be killed numerous Republican senators have received information that they're about to be assassinated and on Steve Shabit yesterday. The reason he doesn't hold any more meetings with his constituents is the violence perpetrated at those meetings, and that all comes from the left. It comes from the left. So they're all over the political spectrum from radical left the radical right events transpire. But the media only focuses on the radical, right? And the guy who did this should spend decades in prison. Thank god. Nobody was hurt. But that doesn't represent Trump any more than the shooting Scalise represents Hillary Clinton or Nancy Pelosi or jug Schumer are Bernie Sanders completely unrelated. The rhetoric needs to be calmed down. Because there's thousands and thousands and thousands of sick ugly people out there that have criminal intent that can be sparked by the comments of Bernie Sanders. You can't watch CNN for a day without hearing a reference to Trump being Hitler. So if you're one of the tens of thousands of criminally sick individuals, and you're and you're watching CNN and the president is compared to Adolf Hitler. Who would not in the right mind in the nineteen thirties before Hitler completely took power, enrolled Europe? Having the chance out of killed Adolf Hitler sometime in the nineteen thirties. That's the rhetoric that is common, and I watched so-called presidential scholars on CNN. Michael Beschloss who talk about a write relative to Trump who talked about a thousand year Reich discuss saying that he is a fascist that who would not kill given a chance. Someone like Adolf Hitler before World War. Two began. I think most normal people. So when you hear day after day after day in the mainstream media that this president is Hitler. Like, there are thousands and thousands of sick individuals who listen to that and act upon it, not just Trump, but Republicans have been compared to Nazis and fascist and that they're silent. So if that's true. If it's actually true that the Republican party like Alex Toronto feeling and Steve shabby and Senator Rob Portman and Wednesday, Brad winstrom, my congressman infant fact, they're Nazis who would not act in today's world to destroy your killer aim or maim or injure a Nazi, of course, bread. That's what they're compared to by mainstream media types, Nazis, and Brown shirts, and fascist and rights. Come on, man, you you can't be this stupid, and then CNN acts like an innocent party to this. When they regularly put on contributors and guests using the most exploitive and explosive rhetoric against Trump and Republicans that's ever happened in television before American history. We've never had this kind of stuff before have we not in my memory, and I'm been pretty conversant about current events for the past fifty years. I've never seen it. Before. Reagan and Bush forty one forty three one through some vicious ugly criticisms to which they did not respond every time one of these references made to the president. He tends to respond, and he doesn't respond always in the most artful fashion. He speaks like you're sitting in a bar with a guy when I was with them last about ten days ago. It's a very easy guy to talk to he's very conversational. And before it became a Republican. He funded the Democratic Party received awards from Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson. He was like the middle of the road Republican slash democrat in New York City care nothing about politics, but cat about happening helping black people and working class American. He was loved now that he's the president. He's the devil incarnate. And who would not kill the devil given a chance it's evil. So that's the rhetoric that I hear every day on CNN MSNBC on the other side. I hear some of the rhetoric from the Republicans not much mainly. It's Trump making references to body slamming or locker up or something like that. Have you see that guy and the old days? Pull them out and punch him. That's wrong. He shouldn't do that. But that's miniscule. That's small compared to everything else. He said including yesterday. He made wonderful comments yesterday. President said among other things such conduct must be fiercely opposed and prosecuted we do not settle in the street these political issues we settled them at the ballot box vote. And there's only one way to settle these disagreements is called peacefully at the ballot box. He condemned the behavior and his loud voice as he could. But that was not acceptable. No matter what he could say he could stand on his head and spit Nichols. It wouldn't matter. They would complain. It wasn't dimes. Doesn't matter. What he does. No matter what he does is never enough. And so everyone in this climate must lower the political rhetoric yet, we spark some other left wing or right wing lunatic to take action against the political party that they oppose. And most of that rhetoric comes from the left in calling Trump and Republicans, Nazis and fast. Fascist worthy of not just defeat but crippling assaults which have happened. I said the other day when I did an interview on CNN radio. That you know, someone's going to get shot woman. Someone had someone was shot last year Scalise was shot by a democrat and wasn't a big deal because it was a democrat shooting a Republican. I can imagine is some right winger wherein a Trump hat headshot, Maxine Waters, put her in a wheelchair near death. It would never end every Republican and Trump would be responsible. But when Scalise was gunned down on a baseball field. There was not nothing in the media blaming Sanders, or or Maxine Waters or Pelosi or Schumer are Clinton. None of that happened in the media because it shouldn't have happened. No more than it should happen now because his attempt to bomb a bunch of Democrats that somehow Trump is a Nazi Trump is a fascist. It's time for Rob Portman of bread winstrom. It's time for Davidson. Where's massey? What isn't Massey's? Speak up. What what you think somebody's in favor of this somebody's in favor of political violence like you see in South American countries all the time. Hell, no, we're not in favor of it. And people like Steve Shabat don't have bodyguards Portman have bodyguard winstrom. Why have a town hall meeting if the crazies are gonna come out and you put yourself on a pedestal and put put a circle on your forehead? Why would you do that? Because it's happening at these meetings. It's awful. It's really sad. When generally Republicans have got to not have town hall meetings because of violence perpetrated against them by the political left incentivized by the mainstream media who often talks about Republicans being Nazis, and fascist and that Nazis, and that the Republican party wants to kill your grandmother wants to lock up certain individuals and push her off a cliff, and that Republicans racist misogynistic, and sexist, and God knows God knows what else what what do you do to somebody giving? A chance to stop the take over this country by Nazis when you when you watch and listen to the media in the mainstream media, they pictured Trump is Adolf Hitler. And I would do about anything did stop the Nazis from taking over our country, wouldn't you? So the implicit implication from all of these remarks is that it's time to take action against Republicans. Find them airports. Find them in department stores. Find them in gas stations find them in elevators, find them in airports. Find them cutting their grass and attack Republicans wherever you can find them. Eric Holder says kick him kick him now. House doing that Trump Trump does some of it. But the left does most of it. And I see the results everywhere. And it sickens me when I talked to shabby yesterday off to the side, but the up at the tower transmitter he said, this is the most dangerous political climate I've ever seen in my twenty two years. He said I'm looking around constantly because of death threats and injuries inflicted upon Republicans two or three Republicans have been chased off roads. There's been a Republican officeholder in California. Someone walked up to him with a sharp a needle and stuck in his belly. It's like what's going on here? So everyone needs to comet down relax, let the political process work quick ginning up the base, the CNN's and the MSNBC's got a comet down gotta relax a little bit. It's not time to chase Republicans off the road or chase them out of restaurants. Get moms who are Republicans with their kids in public spaces yell spitting their face. It's not time for that. It's not time to attack Republicans on a LAN more. It's not time to shoot Republicans at a baseball practice. None of that has anything to do with the Democratic Party..

"WJ, NewsRadio dot com Congressman Steve Scalise did, something last year that's rare in Washington he brought Democrats and Republicans. Was nearly killed when a gunman armed, with, a rifle in a nine millimeter handgun ambushed the Republican. Congressional baseball team in his first interview after the. Shooting joined by his wife Jennifer he explained. To us in vivid detail how we survived it had not been widely known until. Our, story first aired last October extent. Of his injuries what. Physical challenges we're in his future and just how close he came to death It's a miracle, if you look at what happened that morning Gunman came out with a lot of artillery Hell just hell, bent on on killing a lot of us and we're just out there playing baseball sitting ducks And he started firing away if. You would have said. At the end. Of this the only person that would be dead would be the shooter nobody would believe it It was just after seven. AM at a suburban ballpark in Alexandria Virginia when a, team made up of Republican members of congress went from shaggy. Balls to dodging bullets Diamond okay that guy Congressman Steve Scalise he'd been hitting a left hip with a. Bullet from a rifle this cell phone video was among the first images of. Him. That day The last was him being wheeled. On agree, to a helicopter clinging. To life he spent most of the next four days unconscious a found out later just how much damage was done internally I mean my femur was shattered the hip and pelvis had serious damage where the bullet went through and did. Some damage, to areas that had to be short up with steel plates and and and. They did a phenomenal job of rebuilding kinda the, rebuilding Humpty. Dumpty I mean there were there was a lot of damage inside. That had to get fixed they put you back together again back together You're known as a man who loves politics and baseball have. Either of those things changed not a bit you know I love the job. I have is a member of congress representing, southeast Louisiana and I love. Being the house majority whip this is. Morally wrong, because the majority whip. Steve Scalise ranks third in the Republican House leadership read this Bill usually counts votes not balls and strikes unless he's playing second base for the Republicans and that's where he was at practice the day before the annual congressional baseball game. One of, the last bipartisan activities in a polarized Washington school was fielding balls when he. Heard what he thought was a tractor backfire Then he was on the ground I knew I was shot didn't know how bad it was You know, in, a, weird way your body kind of goes nam you know. As bad as the mornings Warren. Obviously I know now how severe it was at the time My body had? Been shutting down a lot of the real pain and I was just thinking about what was going on at the moment did you see the shooter never saw the shooter the shooter. Was Sixty-six-year-old James Hodgkinson according to the. FBI he'd posted anti Republican views, on social media and had a. Piece of paper that contained the names of six? Members of congress we've learned they were all conservative Republicans. Scalise was not on the list but two of his teammates, were do.
