An early look at the 2020 electorate

"With the next election Jones five months away pew research is out with a new survey on the demographics of the American electorate pues Brad Jones is on the KRLD news line Brad what did you find when it comes to U. S. voters by age it is time getting older as to how that benefits one party or the other is you know that older voters tend to be a little more Republican in their in their meetings although we've seen axing last distinction across large generational groupings among it and the oldest among basically R. three older generation the silent generation the baby boomers and generation X. with millennials sort of being distinct and and we didn't break out this nine generations these separately here but they also tend to be more democratic in their views and is it the case that there are actually more people a higher percentage of people who identify as independents Dan as Democrats or Republicans Brett yes whenever we measure partisan partisanship we do it in a two part question so we first ask people if they identify with one of the two major parties or if they consider themselves independent independent associate associate with with another another party party and and we've we've definitely definitely seen seen for for the the last last few few years years that that the the number number of of people people who who declined declined to and hi Jennifer I with either party has has been highest was there anything in this latest survey that she really jumped out at you you know I've I've always been interested in the and geographic distinctions in the country and that's that's something that has continued to all rights so we've we've seen across urban and urban communities that are increased movement toward the Democratic Party where those in rural communities have been moving more more toward the Republican Party BC that it in fact every part of the country and I I you know I did it maybe didn't surprise me but it was it was interesting to see those numbers so starkly that is Brad Jones from pew

You wanna get in send us an episode of your show that this, this show that you're talking about doing. So we had to record like three different episodes of show mail them to the studio. So they could see them to even hope that they would put us on a list some shit like I've got a website, where my ticketing, yes. I'll just put my sign up. I'm a cricket. I'm a critic man. Pay for your fucking ticket hope that you can monetize offer you to a guy when the critics, we see we've seen him for at least ten or fifteen years. Hey drives all the way from temple, which is close to Waco, here he'd been doing and he's on TV. He do that draws fifty minutes to get here to, to review movies, and even give him his gas money 'cause I asked him about because I know the station he works at is right outside Waco, waco's outta half away from here at do drowsy in town. And he has to say, did they pay for your Gazza? No. See, like damn man. Yeah. She we had to put us on work to do this doing almost twenty years. I don't call me on, but you get me here. Say you might as well just come in here and start said, much in filming tasha. Let me see Brad's. He's not what you talking about. Because it does sound like who Julian Julian? Nah. Nah, any non angel in, man. So anyway, come on up here. The way here. Sorry about them. So we got Jake up to the minute with Jake up to the day coming up. A walking up today. She said, take care take care, Jayco via teach him the art of reviewing film, let him do some movies. Let them go watch the movies, and then let him go ahead and give us a pinions and then you give your critique of his critique. And that's what we're gonna do here right now. It works out sometimes for the better because occasionally, there's a movie that, that we the can't see are in this case, we just don't wanna fuck and see. And that movie is Anna wash. It's on what is on. They know that they really do. They say like in the movie, they'll say an hour. Let's say on. Is america. You anna. But in terms, I I know there's not from a professional sports aspect, obviously. We're like in fighting like if you ever gonna fight it's pretty much. I know there's no rules, but that's kind of a if there can be a gentlemen's agreement. That's kind of a gentleman's agreement isn't a bit of a gentleman's agreement in sport in at least in basketball and football in the scrum. I've talked to many football players who said look there are no rules and guys are grabbing it that to get the ball gets nasty end of their. I generally think that that's kind of an agreement. Right. We don't do that. Or is it just like no-holds-barred, and oh nobody I've never seen them basketball before. Never, you know, I've seen a guy get hit there there something. Yeah. Kick out of there. No. He wasn't town. He was on as a guest when couldn't come because it was favor movie. He was confused about it as well, but he was awesome. I was half the comments in this episode which was, hey, Brad Johnson, not which all, obviously I'm slurred over here. Obviously, he's welcome back anytime perhaps. Awesome. Thank you, Brad. And once again, you're watching this. I know you are. Thank you for coming by. And then when she comes by next time, we're gonna league. You look, that's his favorite movie. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah. Tastic it's still it's a lot of work during all these titties and dick can't do. It's too much next. Next up. We have Paul king sketches. Always notice that Mexican gangs, Hollywood TV and movies always have to say, you've got some balls or you got some web goes on USA to the white guy, which I should say that to Jake. You got some revels on USA. What is this nineteen ninety? Five. That's what I'm saying. The thing is a little. Let me go ahead and and find the other comments of here we go. This is also from shadow suspended on dust. I disagree. Sammy you've been sheltered as that is unfortunately accurate. No, I know that people speak that way. I'm completely aware of the growth in southeast Fresno. I know talk like that. But the idea is that they don't talk like that one all the time, their ship repetitive specific words, super repetitive into. It was more so about a representation than any where it's like not every Mexican like that because all of those Mexican speak like that, don't get it exists. I get the sub subset of people that talk that way. But for fuck say he was a little overboard. I know David air. So apparently he does that a lot. I will discover that soon enough, but John black, two, three, four, five, Sam. The same guy who said skyscraper was nothing like that. I was a Joe. John was nothing like skyscraper or nothing like diehard. I said, it's doing its own thing, get it, right. Okay. Actually it was. It was. It was supposed to be funny slash trolley. People were like, oh my God, it's real everything. Sarcasm. It was just like I said at dryly. Convince me and I thought that they were going to take it as dry. But you've got to commit to a joke, which is I believe that it's nothing like die hard. I know it's like it's the same thing is when you set up something and it goes in a different way sometimes just go with. No, definitely. Sometimes you just go with it now. I have, apparently we're is it? Yeah, I have a archrival in here. Let me see shifts. There isn't. It is the same guy. All right. This is part one of part two. I've seen things on these shows and before I need to do some episodes where it's like it's a retrospective. There's a rule that we have. Also, it's the fifteen year rule or ten years old. "After like seriously, like this is my favorite. We. We had a double feature of clockwork orange Caligula. She really, really likes clockwork or or great movies, and she's like, I wanna watch legal. It's your favorite movie. I'm like, okay. At first I thought like, well, maybe she'll like it. I don't know. But then she said, like, yeah, I should be fine with it. I just don't like you know, stuff with porn inserts. Oh. Oh south. You didn't think at one point there wasn't a guy raised. A red flag will hate me. Don't watch what he did say that I was like, are you sure you want this guy? I like, are you sure you wanna watch like, yeah, totally. We get like I might as well have been showing a snuff film of her grandmother. Was that awkward in there and like she's not saying anything and then eventually she's like a not liking this and I'm like, okay, leapt up. I was like, I'll put it something else. And she's like, no, your favorite movie will quit watching it and I go, it's not going to get better for you, but we watch this at that point is put in Beethoven to you call yet. "That's always thing that fascinates me the most is you'll have certain people who they do, you know, step into the arena, so to speak of the internet. And I always confused when they let all that negativity bothered them that much. Yeah. Do you kind of knew what you were getting into high rate to really. I think that's the part of it. I think the in their brains, the set themselves up to be fucking Bill Murray SNL. And if anything, you know rubber dam over. Yeah. Right. Yeah. They just fucking Bob cat gold throughout or whatever. You know when he was on was for Leno or somebody better chair on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. And it was like, okay, don't do that, you know. And so they don't expect, you know, whatever the backlashes Sonate O'Connor. And it's like, because they think for whatever reason they're in the mindset that they're almost above a pleasing the audience. You know what I do. My shit doesn't stink. You know. And if you think it does well, then, fuck you, you're wrong. I think it's really hard for some people in this industry. This industry is vetted only by its online views, right? There's no talent search shows. No casting call. There's no producer casting couch, maybe there is, but there's there was for him. Corey. I think I think that is part of, you know, as much as you might want to say that they should know going in. I, I think to a lot of them, you know, no one starts this job when they're in their thirty, five thirties, forties. I started in their late teens or twenties still fucking kake-buke and you have an ego, right? You have whatever that is driving you because you're your own boss. Sure. You're, you're answering any. You're not answering shit yet. You're not answering to shit. You're writing your editing. You're directing your performing in your own thing, and it is your creation. And if you're doing it for while you're kind of living in this bubble. Oh yeah, you're very much living in a bubble. Anything that kind of tries breaking in what you're not talking about trolling? I'm not talking about that at all. I listen to stuff that's that's genuine and that's, and that's not to say like, oh, that person said this. So I better do exactly what it says. No. I mean, you can take an. Consideration and try to build up that or or maybe just like it. It'd be like, okay, I think I can still make this work, but if enough people are kind of saying the same. Yeah, it's like are better stop and try to work this out. I think it's frustrating too. When you sort of, you know you put your insulin, whatever it is, right. You know, this edit or this affect or whatever it is, and then people just kind of dump on it and it's like, you know, look, I'm trying to do with thing here, and I think a lot of people get frustrated if you're online and you're getting called out for just it meant even be production value. Could just be whatever your opinion on that, you know, I think that's why a lot of people, you know, stray away from having really outlandish thought sometimes. Right. And I never, I never really have that problem because I started out making 'exploitation moving. My favorite movies Colella. Not everyone's gonna love you best movie. Are you serious. Oh, yeah. All right. Well, you know, it's funny about that history. That's fucking. It's funny because the first time I ever saw it, I was like, oh, yeah, I heard about this. I put. You know, I'm watching this. I'm Netflix. I didn't realize that Netflix cut out all the sex. You watch the version yet and it's terrible at it, and it's like it's so hard to watch. And I'm like, I don't understand why this is such a big. This movie sucks. So in the movie starts, do you watch it with your dick in your hand or does build to that? It's got a you gotta work yourself up to the climax. It's like watching a movie with sting. It's like a tantric experience withholding for full release. I had this. I remember watching that movie on a date. It was somebody. It wasn't a first date. It was somebody I was. I was going out. This relationship didn't last very long, and she did end when you watched..

"Hey, welcome back to the episode of three guys and six is which fucking talking about, what are we talking about? What we talk about. You talk about movies me. Yeah, he and I'm gonna let you take it because I'm drinking a little fucked. So he's gonna. Go lay down. Get him to sleep. I was kind of curious channel, awesome stuff. You know you where you see a lot of this, you know, kind of YouTube e future video, the future of them were that going and changing for I can only speak to like either myself individually or a channel. Awesome. Individually, like. We've gone for because we started this Doug and I started the same year. I started two thousand seven. Maybe he did a little bit or one of six or maybe he's. Roughly around the same time, we both start it and we've been able to keep going this long. 'cause we either are shows kind of involve in a way because I mean his his, his incorporated more types of movies, more types of scheduled have to take your lumps. No, yeah. It's like sometimes you realize, okay, don't do a game show. No. Yeah. Yet to go that long, you try out a lot of new things. I've done it on my site where like we've, we've got a couple of different animated series. We try out just some straight scripted com type stuff. We do movies as well. It can't just be that one. Yeah, like, yeah, doing the snob. Like Mike main show like the that's the main show on there. That's that's the one that still frequently gets the most view. Yeah, yeah. And it's still fun to do because it's if all the talk about different kinds of movies like that, but to keep an audience still coming back like it's. Good to throw out. Other news series is, well, it's like marketing. One one did a really, really small stint at Hasbro about funding years ago. And I remember in one of the marketing meetings, it was like there's a reason that Star Wars changes box design every year. Yeah, because you have to sort of refresh. You have to read my end and you have to get people interested again. Yeah, and it was a question that I asked you when we were eating dinner. I was like, you know, you find it difficult to try to sort of keep up with the Joneses being a position where you're like, I have to keep it fresh, but I also have to maintain my brain my brand name. I don't because I severely eighty. So I really don't have that products to why have so many projects, and I am kind of a workaholic might turn around time on. My main show is really good. And when I'm not working on the main show, I'm working on a movie or or cartoon series or a bunch of other different things since getting married. I've had to tone that down. Give myself free time. I don't keep weekends and nights free and things like that. So I've not had that problem really, but I have seen it before where people they start out doing it and they really enjoy doing it. But it's kinda just the one show maybe doing and maybe they do have burn out or maybe it doesn't catch on the way that they'd like or maybe maybe they just inept just not really built for it. I think a lot of people find that out, you know, sooner than later, you know, they might buy all the, they might, you know, fucking a website and etc. Tom's top picks. But movie dude. Tom. Tom. Space. He went on. Found his is calling, but yet you see that you see this sort of Evan flow, right? Sort of roller coaster ride. And there is so many people that I've seen on YouTube, but like other guys pretty good. And then I find out all he has done video for years or it could be somebody who it could be a situation where the person does have talent but doesn't have thick enough skin for it because he on line. And if you get really obsessed with any kind of really negative feedback or even just sort of feedback in general. And I've seen it before where people who could have started out as maybe. Oh shit. Nothing to do with anything. Like, I mean, everyone gets everyone could get upset about that, but when it's get so bad where you can't handle any of it or in you just turned into a complete monster..

"Okay. AMR back and we sit here with Brad Jones, the cinema snob, you know? So you came out here. We just hung out for about an hour so you need, it's kinda got to get to know each other. And you told me that you watched our channel awesome episode. What do you give me thoughts on that? I thought it was one of the only videos that anybody did on it that was actually being fair. I mean, everyone was watching it. There was there were there were things I was like, okay, well, I've got an answer for that and I've got fill dancing the whole episode. You guys are actually very, very fair. And we're like trying to have a really rational conversation about it instead of just picking one side and being fiery on either like, yeah, I mean, there was stuff like, okay, I know the context of what they're talking about here and I, I know the answer to this here, but I understand that the you guys wouldn't. Yeah, sure. Because I mean, it's all about context. Yeah. I mean, like I've been there behind the scenes on that for almost ten years. I think that's part of it, right? It's behind the scenes. It was kind of ironic, we did this episode and then what two weeks later Danielle left groups. A little of our own little controversy. You know, it was nothing people just move on. But you know, when you're an audience member when when you're on the outside looking in, it's hard not to just kinda let that just kind of mutate in your brain and assume you know what's going on. My favorite thing when I love Sammy show was somebody leaving Sammy. No. My favorite thing about that was somebody was like, oh, he must have gotten into a pay dispute over sitting there. Like how fucking hire you right now is not at all what happened. I saw the the threat that you did comment on. You owe us an exponential explanation. Fuck. Yeah. Well, I think what it is, you know, these is the audience. They a lot of them the third to take us in his characters in their lives, imprint themselves onto whatever it is that we're saying during. So I, you were also telling me a little bit about how terrible Christoph minutes to work with. If you want elaborate here, that'd be great. Welcome back to toes-to-toes the airing driven. Welcome back to this too. And last episode. Yes, but because of this controversy, you know as it as it hindered your performance at all and YouTube. I mean, has it been difficult to kind of rally from this? No. I mean, it was it was a headache for a little bit because it would just kinda come up like, yeah, comments and on on on our live streams and things like that in the Chad and we would get tweets about it. And there would be we had a good head about it or because one. We knew that after a few weeks, people are gonna move on to something else. People are going to move on to something they did after like a couple of weeks. It barely got brought up like in our chats or any of that. And also we. Over on my side. I mean, I can't talk about any of the other sites. I don't. Some of the other sites are through heavier than we were with us. We were just kinda just, okay, we put out a little tweet where we said that we weren't leaving Duggan Robert two of my best friends. I put that out and people were relatively satisfied with that two point. Yeah, and I'm just going to continue working. I'm going to continue doing my thing. This thing will do whatever it does, and I'm just going to continue working. What we were getting amusement on was like all the conspiracy theories. Love that. Here we lose. The CEO of channel. Awesome. My balls and like I'm under a deep contract and can't leave or crazy. One of them was like my favorite one I think was like, it's clear that he secretly left the site because he took jed a loss as bio on Twitter. I did that in December because I needed the lettering space to promote. I was coming out with at the time. It's funny, you know, we, it's weird a little bit how feigns who feel like they wanna be a part of the show react. I had said something..

"I mean, obviously, where let me ask you this. Let me rephrase this. Okay. Why did he just go to bed. Oh, he was in such a fucking like doc-. I think it was because he was so fucking high. You didn't really recognize what had happened was hoping wake up and it wouldn't wouldn't have been also say that. Yeah. I mean, because that's why I didn't mind the fact that she that Toni Collette such kind of screaming. Yes. Aiko. 'cause I thought she had perfectly good reason to understandable why this person would be this and. And this directive about all. And that's also part of the tension is the fact that like yes, she is like a little one injured in kind of creating. And so like the husband, Gabriel Byrne character. That's his whole in the home Iger. He's like, look, I'm trying to hold together for my wife speeches, crazy. I can't. He's trying hard hard point words that the dinner scene. Yeah, which I think is maybe of one of the scariest scenes in that movie when when her the sun start getting into it and he's just like, all right. Now, fuck this. Cantu Slough. Ask you this. At the end rare naked people's running the house. This movie reminded me not just of the two that I've already mentioned, but I feel like I've seen the story before reminded me of the witch, you know, and it reminded me of, I feel like these two or three other movies out there. I feel like that that show it was like trilogy VHS. A couple of them were this story, and I feel like God, I fucking hate saying it, but like I've seen it. So at the end when you found out that it was all part of some type of ritualistic, you know, demon worship, I wasn't super surprised and I feel like you do see this movie on occasion. This is almost like it seems to be to me. This sort of like blueprint for this type of film that we see a lot of and every time it comes out, it gets lauded and praised but really isn't doing that much that we haven't seen, maybe it does it differently, but the story it's telling is not unique. I think the reason why that didn't bother me. It is a fact that it doesn't lead with the Satan coal Satan cold. Okay, ten minutes. Yeah. The fact of the movie is it's about this family. Yeah. If it had been about this family and all the cold stuff was there from the beginning, then it would have had a problem that would have been like, all right, come on what was going versus this where you've got this whole movie, and then he had the Satan and you're like, oh, okay, that's where this is going to someplace expecting. I didn't think I was fine with it too. And. Yeah. Like when it was happening, I was thinking like, okay, Senhor movies like this before were the sentinel or kill list or things like that, like, but I was fine with it in this because I still thought it was doing it affectively and it wasn't that hard right of term. Turn for me like because everything did kind of lead up to it, Lincoln. They had worked where it made sense in context. Everything that we had just seen. Sure. Yeah. So, and I still thought it was scary. I thought it was done if active. Yeah. Look, you put a naked smiling, fifty year old dude in the corner. That's going to be a scary. Maybe I caught something that wasn't there. Maybe I imagined it. We're one of the naked dudes his teacher, and because I remember someone in the audience and I was like, oh, maybe I think permits everybody in that Colt would were the people at the support group. I'm not sure if it might be the teacher. I don't think it is, but I don't know. I can't. It's actually been a couple of months since I've seen this movie like it's this conversation kind of coming back to me. It's so sad when I'm sitting here like I could probably actually talk more about show dog. It's been a couple of months of saving goals. No, that was a hard right. We're going to get quick break. And when we get back, we'll talk more about you, Brad. I want to know what you're up to now ever since the channel. Awesome. Controversy and. I know our audience is dying here about any. We'll be right back..

"I think the reason why for me, that will be worked so well. And why didn't drag for me is it does it? Does that thing that felt the exorcist did so date where it starts out as just a regular route? Yes. And for the first like our, it's just this family drama. Sure. There's spooky stuff on kind of the periphery that's there, but you're really, you get invested in really, frankly the horror of how fucked up this family is. And so I kind of have that the first time I saw where I go. All right. I'm digging some liking this will win. Are we going to get to the hor- stuff? And then a right when I had that thought that I say on scene and in the movie shifts and then you're all, fuck here we go is, oh, oh, no. I mean, I was fascinated by watching that too, because with with the exorcist. You kind of knew eventually where it's going to go when that like, okay, we're going to leave their the bedroom and all that's called the. This might happen. Exactly. Well, unless you're watching the second. Due to man. Wasn't heretic, but like. With hereditary though, like, yeah, I saw a lot of trailers for the movie, but no trailer that was really telling me what I will turn the trailer off twenty seconds. And I was like, you know what? It's it's Proops Lee being so vague that don't want it to give away anything, you know, and it really didn't cause. I know I got the trailer quite a few movies that we went to go see. And so in there, watching the movie and having be this really slow burn that was really taking its time to set up this family, what they've gone through, kind of where they are this point in their live from this tragedy that happened. And then this other one that happens twenty minutes into the movie. I didn't know what the movie was gonna end. Yeah, trailers didn't really get. In fact the trailers like kinda hinted like my walking into like an evil little girl move. Yeah, my thought that's what the movie was because that's kind of what they sold it at. Yeah, so then, yeah, twenty minutes in what she's dead early. Yeah, it's going on. Right. Did you guys get? Because I'm watching this. I'm getting a hint. Of notes really, if you will of Rosemary's baby and and beetle juice model builders and these say on thing, and I'm like, that's kind of it's kind of a stretch, but it's like a very basic level. I was like, oh, that's. Here's thing. Okay. This is why I think Rosemary's baby is a little bit better. Because. I have a difficult problem, and this is the same home with a lot of American horror story stuff. Don't make your main character screaming psychopath I have a real hard time like no seriously, like trying to identify with that or and when Mia Farrow is in rose baby. She's very cold. She's very collective. I can identify with. I'm going through her her whole ordeal with her with this just like get the fuck out of house fucking psychos at. I feel like because of that because it takes a long. I start to lose patience with it until like the last thirty minutes where it's totally fucking worth. It. Because men those seems mutate vase. They stayed with me for days like that imagery I was like, and it's funny because it's not like this like grotesque imagery, but that one scene where she saw your head off looking at her son just like fucking. It's on, repeat in my brain. I don't need this gotta go, I gotta get the fuck outta here. You know, it's funny what you added that the first time with friends of mine and we're all going in like, yeah. Yeah, yeah. And walking out, we were all just really quiet and like, what do you think that was just unsettling this again, the genuinely upsetting moving. That's the thing even more than it being scary, just so much of like the the horrid, how that's tied into like all these fucked up family dynamics. Like it's genuinely what mostly upsetting and distressing movies. I've seen quite some time Lamer. What did you think of the headlock seen?.

"Now steadily over the last six months, hype train has been building and building and building and building, and the word of mouth has been slowly getting out of it. How desserts and I think of, oh, I was every year has the one movie like. Sure. I think too, you know, it's an interesting point about how some of these movies, especially horror movies. They come out in the summer and they do better. Although for years, the market has tried to dictate that Halloween is the time for horror films, but it never works. I mean, you get your one Halloween remake that you can see every other year and then it's like, okay, well, I saw that and you just did the same fucking thing and you fucking pull Jean Curtis out from the grave to fucking do this shit. Hey, I'm looking forward to it. Dude. We gotta get h four man. Yeah, there's a door. Sure, yeah. So. You have, you have this market and it's like, I wonder if the reason it does so much better in the summer is because there is a blockbuster fatigue and you're, it's almost like your brain is like craving something else, you know. And I go back to what I saw hereditary this movie, the majority of the people are in the the screening were in the sixties. You know, again, I think it goes back to what you're saying. But word about generally people who are over fifty years old who go to the movies or only going because of boats, they're not buying into marketing up buying the hype than fucking running out and buying whatever the looking. Bird girl phase action figures. So dude,.

"Show. I'm your host valley and sit here with all my God. No, not what. Van with Brad Jones. The official cinema snob making his trip to Austin and sitting with me, I so you know, thank you for that. Sara cords. And of course here I am back here. I'm like, that friend that wouldn't leave. Yeah, we. Literally sitting box right now. We don't have all the money here. Toes-to-toes. You don't even have separate camera for him. Yell. The toaster toasted everybody Shasha told you about the same. We're gonna talk fucking. We wanna talk about tonight. It's a special episode. It's actually to really fucking special up because it's thirtieth episode. Not that that's the fiftieth one hundred. But hey, you know, it has zero at the end of it. So I'm pressed. I was old enough to have. And anyway to thirty is like, that's that is impressive on the. Depressive in real life. Still here. Passed to. I'm like, sweet. Yeah, go, we're accountable. Whatever we say actually needs to mean something and speaking of meaning something we're gonna talk a little bit about the film industry tonight. Fucking surprise. Right. Or case we haven't done that before, but we're gonna talk specifically about this sort of summer indie. Blockbuster renaissance, which I think is kind of interesting recognizing now something I hadn't thought about like a day ago, like the majority of the movies that I'm seeing the theater currently or not blockbusters, and I wonder why that is. And you know the movies that are really standing out to me. You know, it's like the solo God. When was last time fucking even when even talked about that movie, you know. Right or drastic part came and went. Gone and you know, you see these little films these smaller films like hereditary that, you know they come out and then they just weren't him out. They just kind of gain momentum and you know, maybe that's really what this sort of shot in the arm that this industry needs. Right. Not too long ago over over on my site. We're doing a livestream needed some filler, so we're we're talking about, okay, what's our three. Favorite movies so far and three least favourite. And yeah, the ones that were the ones that we were having like actual conversations discussing about were the movies like hereditary and upgrade. Oh yeah. Ooh, it's so great, holy crap. Even that movie, the purge pertinent ninety, seven. It's referred for the first one. It's like the Xbox One. It's not really after the about code, but yeah. Yeah, yeah. It did. It did better than a lot of people bought it would. And again, it's like you have this movie going audience. My girlfriend just went to go see a fucking document. I'm glad that he knows what she I've seen. And she had sort of a genuine interest in to see that. And I think when I when I saw hereditary about today's. It was packed. And there were people who were just fucking genuinely terrified. And I wanna talk about that because I haven't seen a whole lot on this movie, and I think that may be, I'd like to solicit your guys opinions and you know, maybe why you think it's doing as well as it's doing because it's a horror movie for adults. Yeah, I think I that think is. that has a lot to do with it like it's for a very, it's it's not just yours. Run of the mill ghost story where I, it's there to have a good opening weekend, bringing a teenage audience to throw out a bunch of jump scares, Jim roller coaster ride, and then they, they leave. No, it's it's one that is built on word of mouth since it started in fewer sugar. Most movies that are worth watching art, get out or at follows movie. Yeah, one. I think the other thing is horror specially the last few years whore really plays in the summer and especially right now two point. Yeah, you're seeing a lot more movies like really notable hormone. He's like, get out getting that kind of recognition because the world is so fucking crazy right now. Yeah, people are kind of wanting to go more than they would normally wanted to go see a horror movie like that. And it also has a benefit with specifically that movie is it's it's had this buzz building since Sundance. Yeah..
