Virginia Tech keeps rolling in March Madness, tops Tennessee

"The Ohio State buckeyes of Virginia tech hokies have advanced to the elite 8 of the NCAA women's basketball tournament. Ohio State moved forward with a 73 61 win over Connecticut. Cody McMahon scored 18 of her team high 23 points in the first half as the buckeyes stopped the husky short of the final four for the first time since 2007. We looked at it as any other game and I feel like that's really what helped us not to feed in the fact that they are Yukon. This is a great program. Fresh update on "both teams" discussed on Anything is Possible

"Both teams have got to do a better job with their rotations behind the double teams. If you're going to double team the good players on the other teams, both these teams pass it so well, you better rotate better than either team did in the first half, three point shooting was the biggest difference. Those 5 threes you can make. That was a plus 12. Hard to overcome that. Gonzaga needs more sags to step up, particularly on the perimeter. Julian strader needs to make some threes. Somebody else also has got to help him. You kind, I think the same, but they just need more threes. They continue to hit threes. They're going to open this game wide open. Gonzaga is the number one scoring offense in the country. 5th straight year they have led the nation in scoring yet just 32 points in the first half. Third fewest on the season for Gonzaga first half and their fewest since February 4th in that loss to saint Mary's when they scored 32. Now Gonzaga has been a second half team, but so is Yukon. This is where the huskies have really turned it on and buried opponents in this tournament. Yeah, they have, and I think they can feel better about their first half, but you make a great point. TCU led by 5 UCLA led by 13. Now tonight, Connecticut leads by 7. It doesn't seem to bother Gonzaga. Gonzaga in the second half plus 32 in this tournament, but UConn is plus 46. Can this year's Bruins really be considered NHL's best team ever?

"As the bruins approach the NHL record for points, it's a good time to look at the current record holder. The 1976 77 Canadians, those habs finished 68 and 12 for 132 points, and they did it without the benefit of overtime or shoot out, considered one of the greatest teams ever, the Canadians could have easily won anywhere from 6 to 8 of those tie games. That would give them 66 to 68 wins and 138 to 140 points under today's format. Montreal's point percentage that year was a ridiculous 8 25. "Love talking to you, roger. You're fun. But you're also such a truth teller. I got to ask you, it's always annoying to me to see it's annoying to me to see Ron DeSantis looking like he's going to run for president against Trump. But it's equally annoying to me that Trump is kind of taking the bait and doing the Trump thing and dumping on him. I think it hurts Trump. Where are you in the middle of this? Well, first of all, make a suggestion to you. I know things are tough there in New York. Maybe if you showed your books in the background when you did a show to kind of, you know, product placement to kind of suddenly push book sales. I've read your book letter to the American church. It's really a great book and everyone should order it immediately. Well, you know what? I will take that advice under consideration. My team doesn't want me to be too forceful in pushing my books because they don't believe in my books as strongly as you do. So thank you for saying that. Michelle bachman also also likes my books. Let me address your question, please. One of the advantages of everything is that Ron DeSantis has now shown himself in his attack yesterday on Donald Trump. What was the attack? He basically questioned his moral character, which is funny because the governor was not questioning Trump's moral character when Trump unilaterally endorsed him in a tweet, which turbocharged his campaign and elected him governor. He wasn't questioning Trump's moral judgment when Trump had to come back to Florida twice in the final two weeks of 2018 to drag Ron DeSantis across the finish line. She ranked attendance is not a likeable fellow. I think he's what you would call a cold fish. He wears ear buds to avoid human contact because he doesn't like to speak to people. He is a largely, I think, driven by his wife, correct me wrong. Wasn't it evil said to Adam bite that Apple? I think it was.

Will Alvin Bragg Try to Arrest Donald Trump at All?

"Don't think this is going to happen that the district attorney Alvin Bragg in New York City is not going to arrest Donald John Trump. I think that he sees the writing on the wall here. Now, yesterday, a letter serviced. That seems to indicate that Donald Trump was not involved in the hush money payment to stormy Daniels. And this letter, it's pretty condemning. And this could be one of the reasons why the grand jury has not been meeting yesterday's proceedings were canceled. Today's proceedings canceled again. There's word that the district attorney may call the grand jury bank for, but not because of Donald Trump. As a matter of fact, the reporting of NBC News says that they may not even address the Trump issue until next Monday. But I think what's happened here is that team Trump has been pretty masterful at playing all of this out. They had heard the rumblings and they got out ahead of the story. But the reality here is that Michael Cohen, in this letter, it's pretty evident that he had everything to do with this and Donald Trump had nothing to do with the hush money payment made to one stormy Daniels. How to Be a Prayer Warrior for Your Children

"It's vital that we bring our children and their hearts to Jesus. Absolutely. I mean, that's the number one thing, I think, on a parent's heart and mind, right? I know that's true for gene and I, our boys are in their early 20s. We want them to have a fervent faith. Sometimes we're scratching our head. Are they there? They assure us that they know the lord, and that's good. But you always want to see more, right? It's just natural for a parent to want to see a vibrant faith and we're going to talk today about those young adults who may not be expressing that. We call them prodigals from time to time and their behavior suggests that maybe they're not close to the lord. So I'm excited that we're going to cover that topic today because many, many parents are going through difficulties with their adult children. And we hear so much heartache and grief from parents, and we're so glad our counseling team can talk to them and guide and certainly if you're there, give us a call. Our number is 800 a family. Well, doctor Irwin lutzer is pastor emeritus at moody church in Chicago. He was the senior pastor there for over 36 years. He's written a number of books, and one of those that is the basis for our conversation today is called a practical guide for praying parents. Get a copy from us here at the ministry, the details are in the show notes. Doctor lutzer, welcome back to focus. It's so good to have you. I'm so glad to be back and to have this exciting topic because no matter where I go the great burden on the hearts of parents is wayward children. Yeah. And we're going to be talking about how I believe we should pray for them and how transforming it was for me to understand a new way of praying, but we'll get into that. Well, you know, so often we as parents would carry so many burdens, you know? And there's a lot of things tugging at our children's heart, especially if they're in public schools, the things that are exposed to, it could be a daunting task to live in this modern world and be raising kids that have so much exposure to things that, you know, just two decades ago, kids didn't see. Social media pornography. You had to go find pornography. Now it finds you. Being a pastor for 36 years, it's nothing new under the sun, right? You were experiencing these kinds of things, maybe different, but children that weren't doing well with the lord. You know, one of the things that we did at moody church which I looked back upon with a great deal of joy is we designated a month that was a month in January and we called it pops, parents of prodigals, and we prayed for prodigals. Now we doubled our prayer meeting.

How Venture Capitalist Vic Keller Selects People for His Team

"How you select people on your team because that's a question a lot of young entrepreneurs give me is how do I select people and understand the different types of personality? Not everyone wants to be in charge. Some people want to be operators, some people are relational. Some people have a lot of love of process. I'm sure you learned a lot very quickly as soon as you're the one that has to assume all the risk. You know the best way I found to assess people is just always be interviewing always talk to people. I had a great business partner when I was very young, very successful multi billionaire and I remember he spent most of his time interviewing and talking to people and I took note of that. And so I've tried to emulate that, but ultimately I'm not looking for a college degree. That's right. I'm looking for someone that is tenacious that's driven that's committed. That's really a curious ferocious learner. Someone that just wants to keep learning that's diving into education, whether it be through podcast, whether it be through having great mentors, rather be through reading, whatever it is. I'm looking for that mindset. And ultimately, I look for people that are outcome driven, right? I mean, in business, there is a scoreboard. Participation ribbons really don't matter. There's a scoreboard. You know if you're winning or you're losing, it's called net income. It's your profitability. That's your insurance to get success. And so I try to find people that truly understand how to deliver outcomes. People that are competitive, I love. People that have a background in sports is very interesting to me. So I've always looked for people that are just driven and motivated.

It's really that easy. Upload and save at fairway jockey dot com, spend better score better. Dylan, let's talk about someone who scored better than the first T grandstand. Tom Kim, Tom Kim was the life of the party, right? Like if this whole thing was a party, everyone was thinking about talking about Tom cam. What's funny is that I felt, I felt like we were expecting that. Like I felt like there was a lot of discussion about this kid, this 20 year old kid played his way onto the team. We kind of expected him to show up and be the life of the party and then he somehow lived up to it and more. At least if you're following Twitter from my perspective. So was it as fun in real life as it seemed online? Oh yeah, I mean, I already mentioned the moment where he was screaming when he was 5 down, but he just didn't turn it off. And I think those of us that are golf sickos and just extremely aware of this stuff and of Tom knew what to expect to some extent, definitely not to the full extent, but a lot of the fans on site just had no idea who he was. This was Tom Kim's coming out party. And I talked to him actually right after he finished his match today. And I wrote about this for golf dot com. He was devastated. Everyone on site essentially, everyone watching thought of this as Tom Kim's coronation. But you know, he was just so bummed that he'd given up a three up lead to homa in his singles match. He said he was sad that he hadn't contributed more to the team. He finished the week at two and three, so he had a losing record and he seemed to take that really personally. So you said there were a lot of good lessons, but you know, he was bummed. So I guess when you have higher expectations for yourself than anybody else does, then that's probably a good thing for your success. Tom Kim,

"Been okay. Both teams have been utterly impressive. Um, I'm really impressed with England. Like they said, they finally faced a little adversity and they they came through the other day. Raheem Sterling, though, to take a dive. That was not a trip. And I'm sure you would agree with. I would agree with that. Uh um uh, Italy has been really good. I I'm always hesitant to pick Italy because they they sit back so much but men, Cini has had them on the floor, the forefront most of this map this tournament until they played Spain. They've been a lot of fun to watch, which is You know really surprising from the Azzurri. I think it's it's going to be a tight game. England. England probably gets the nod just because they're at home. Um and that, you know, we know in thought, Doctor. Maybe. Most advantageous sport when it comes to a home crowd, and I think that may put them over the top. Well, I said this order. I said this earlier when I was talking about it, though I mean Missouri. Just they just seem like Not that they don't care. But like they're just I just have seen very few teams that are playing as carefree as they are right now, and I feel like if there's any team, and maybe it doesn't ultimately mean that Italy wins. But just if there's a team that's best equipped to walk into the Literal and proverbial lions. Then tomorrow, I I would I would say the way that I've seen Italy I I feel like they're the ones that are best. Uh, Best equipped to go in there and potentially win. Yes, they may be. You know, It's funny. You always think Italy is going to sit back and they're so sturdy on the back end, but it feels like This is one Italians are Italian teams that can really push forward and we know England. You know, England's going to choke at some point they have a little part. Of course, they're going to do what they're going to do it in grandchild. Well, I don't know that the script writers of sure favored England So I'm with you. I'm like, how are they going to screw this up? But I'm like it's not quite the question immediately after. How is who, like who against? Who are they going to screw up against? Because I feel like They've gone through some teams that haven't even really given them. You know a chance to screw things up, but we'll we'll see tomorrow. I think it's a compelling final. That's that's for sure. Um, it is David Dahir finally leaving Or what are we doing here? So he comes out the other day and said he really wants to stay and fight for his spot. And it's like, Well, I remember 34 years ago you were wanting to exit now. Now he's you know, getting toward that 38 if he hasn't crossed it already. He stood up some good years in them. But you know when, when police of your are now our backup, you're gonna think that there's something to that. So it's going to be interesting. What happens over the next couple months here? I'm thinking about defecting the Derby County. I can't. I can't take it anymore with this club. Uh, Brian, they finished second, the second in the Premier League, and it seems like they were just terrible. I know, but that's Yeah, I know. Uh And I'm fully aware of that, but it just it It's just the drug. It's just the drama. I don't know It's uh, no, I know where we're spoiled Bunch, but and that's where that's where that comes from. "Secondly, the thing that that Milwaukee has over everybody all over the league is that their size their size inside inside, and it just seems to me that you cannot take Brook Lopez and Yannis out of the game at the same time. You know, you know, it's like it's like they're trying to match up to Phoenix. We'll make me makes tennis match up to you. What you have is size, Punish them. The guards are bigger. Punish them. I just keep watching the saving over and over again. You make it easy for them to run up and down the board when you miss the three What do you think about that? Well, look, And thanks for the call Early. I really like to take and I don't think you're wrong. Look. We We say that Budenholzer is battered adjustments. I'd say that he is stubborn in his belief of his game plan, and you're absolutely right. I was a little surprised. They went small. I would expect that they're going to come out and they're going to make their sort of assertive statement. In Game two when it comes to the aggressiveness when I can't figure out, you know, we said this when Brook Lopez suddenly was more aggressive without Yannis in the game. We wanted to sit there and say, Well, it's coach Bud Is it Or is it up, too Young is to be a little bit more aggressive as a player. He's also feeling himself out trying to feel out how that knee is. So that's some straight talk, straight talk wireless, no contract, no compromise. Let's have a little bit of fun on the Goodyear hotline. It's Mike Jordan and then you know, I was hanging out with Jordan Schultz, ESPN NBA analyst. Jordan is always man. Love hanging out with you. Thanks for hanging out with me today. Give me your thoughts like so I'm basically of the opinion that while last night was a great game and and a good start to a series, there isn't a magnificent hot take on it because we saw a lot of what we should expect. Where are you after one game. Well, I thought both teams came out super fresh, Chris Sharp. I was really surprised even early on, Jason that Janice was able to attack. It didn't look like he was laboring at all. I think he you know he was gas as the game wore on, And that's probably where we see some of the load management that coach but has been criticized for, although I thought he's that way too long in the second half when when Phoenix made their run, but Overall. What What really stood out to me was just the son's ability to take Milwaukee's best shot and have no problems counterpunching and then making adjustments. I thought Monte did a great job of Making sure that Janice was walled up in the lane. But also Phoenix didn't over help that it over extends. We didn't give up open threes. And you know, Milwaukee has really struggled in the postseason, shooting the ball. I mean, they were top 53 point shooting team all year decent. And then there are about 31% in the playoffs, and we just saw last night again. Just too many. Too many missed looks, Um, I'll be. It's not a lot of great ones. I thought Lopez was really good. But I want to see if I'm a box fan. I want to see less of this. Like Down the stretch holiday gives it gives us the Middleton and then we see this like mid post, so I wanted to see way more. Yeah, Honest and I want to see Holiday and Yannis playing a two man game. I just thought it was too predictable from an offensive standpoint. Well, I don't want to oversimplify Jordan, but let's face it. I feel like the Bucks are unbeatable when holiday and middle dinner actually shooting like we've seen them shoot during the regular season and in the playoffs. They just can't hit the broad side of the barn for a gamer here or game there so at some point if they haven't been consistent throughout the course of the last, let's say month. What makes them consistent now for the rest of this series? Right? No, I think that's fair. What? What What would do it is if you have you change your game plan and realize that Phoenix is an elite defensive team. And when we talk about guarding the three You know, one of the one of the ways to do it is to not over help and to have really smart, versatile defensive players, which Phoenix has, you know they have Crowder and bridges. Booker has gotten so much better defensively. I think we saw Kim Johnson last night. Do a decent job. I find to buy Milwaukee that you just have to make an adjustment, But the issue is, And this is where Bud got criticized even in the Atlantic Series when Trey wasn't 100% is They're going to play the way they play, and that's it. You know, like if it works, it looks great. And if it doesn't you know you're going to see more criticism. And what if I'm a bucks fan? What I'm really nervous about is the fact that you have these two elite closures and Chris and Devon. You have an emerging star in Aden and you really don't have like it was Janice dominates the Atan. Then you're really in trouble. Because that matchup that ain't mitigated and even outplays. Be honest for much of the game. Now you're relying on your ancillary pieces Middleton and Holiday and I'd much rather have Paul and Booker, So I think they're outmatched. I picked Phoenix last night. I picked him in five in the series and, um, the only way that they get back into this is adjustment, and that's what you just said. It's not really Bud style. We're talking ESPN NBA analyst Jordan Schultz. Max Kellerman show Jason Fit sitting in for Max. And you know you mentioned Dayton and I said on Spain and fits. I thought that he was going to be the X factor in this series because it's just such a matchup nightmare. But I'm listening today to all sorts of NBA people. I respect talking about moving the honest out and suddenly trying to make him defend Chris Paul and, you know, changing the entire lineup, like Tell me how you would Slow down. Phoenix is offensive if you're Milwaukee. No, it's not for me. The answer is not moving on itself..

"At this point is Really benefiting both teams in the month since the trade Domus in a brewer's uniform, has seen Milwaukee win. 21 of 30 fouls the slider out of play. 212 and there were some who felt the Brewers, depending on their circumstance would be a team that Would have some interest and perhaps trying to engineer a trade with the Rockies for Trevor Story to add a back to their lineup, not to say they might not still have interest, but With our Domus has played. Maybe changing the thinking a little bit for Milwaukee. 22 fastballs just a little bit high. It's a full count. Yes. You know the most interesting thing about the Ademas situation with the Brewers. He had never had a four hit game in his career. He said three since the trade, including one Last weekend in Denver Runner not going. The 32 pitch is hit through the right side for a base hit and into right center that allows Narva is to get the third so after retiring the first four Rather easily an opposite field hit by Narva fires, and then the hot Willie Adama's stays hot. It went down in the lower part of the strike, so maybe a little bit below the knees. To get a hold of that pitch and Boy with the second baseman Rogers shaded up the middle. He got it passed Brendan to Brendan's left. So an opportunity.

I've got mine and it is is hot. So you want to get that Because it's a hot seller. People want that. I'm going to give it to you because you are Captain Jared Listener. We appreciate you checking in every day. 3123323776 So Garrett Coal He makes what he signed for 3 24 3 $24 million, the highest paid pitcher in the history of the sport. He's electric. Yeah, His spin rate has gone up dramatically, though. Uh, from the time he left, Pittsburgh went to Houston. And then signed with the Yankees. In Houston. It was like, Well, how are their spin rates? Verlander and all these guys? Their spin rates are crazy, right? Which allows the ball to dive rise. Slide the side to say. How do they make that ball move like that? Yeah, well, there's something called Spider tack. Spider tack Now what is that? It is a sticky substance that a weightlifter Was trying to set weightlifting records and said the bar gets sweaty and slippery and he developed it. He started a company called Spider Tack, and he didn't even know baseball players knew about it. It was just for the weightlifting industry. And All of a sudden, someone asks Garrett. Call yesterday. Have you ever used Spider Tech? And have you ever used spiders are one pigeon. Um I don't I don't know. I don't know if There are no quite I don't quite know how to answer that. To be honest, you do all right. I mean, there are customs and practices that Have been passed down from Older players see younger players from the last generation of players to this generation of flares and Um You know, I think I think there are some things that are certainly out of bounds in that regard, and I stood pretty stood pretty firm and in terms of Adah In terms of the communication between our peers and whatnot. Um You know, and and again like I mentioned earlier. There's This is important to a lot of people that love the game. This is including including the players in this room, including fans, including, You Know teams and so if, and only wants to legislate some more stuff. That's a conversation that we can have, Um This. Ultimately we started pulling in the same direction of this. Mm wow. Mm. Do you hear the Pause it start. I mean, we won. Oh, God, We want people to know that's unedited. That's just the way he answered the question that number one but number two just the twists and turns and trying to get out of that question. It was a great question, but we did not expect that answer. So Garrett Coal pretty much told you that. Yes, he has used it. There's so many different ways he could have answered that question. Have been saying, yes, you could have said yes. I've experimented with that, but not with the Yankees, because if it was with the Astros, there would be so much more believable. If he was with the with the Astros, for sure, during that whole thing with drum gate or whatever that was, they were going through, right? Cap. Can I tell you? I'm glad he answered it that way because it really opens the door to what's really going on a major league baseball. We already knew this. But when you have someone on the record kind of twisting and turning that answer You know, and pausing and thinking about it. I mean, it just shows you that there is a lot of dirtiness in the game from Major League baseball from from players protecting each other in this right. Matters. Not saying anything. Pictures aren't saying anything. Umpires aren't saying anything You never say Hey, let me see that baseball. Never see that on the foul ball. Never see you never see anything that's dirty on the It's just something shady. That's going on in baseball all around to try to protect the pictures and protect the game. So really, let me add a little context to this too, because so, Cole You. We all talked about the Mike Schultz situation at guaranteed rate. When guy ago Scott told to remove his hat, you know, and Shields had that outburst that we played the next day, And that kind of was the start of this Now MLB has sent out a memo. Prior to the season, saying they wanted the sticky illegal substances to stop. Clearly, they haven't though, and it's kind of been tolerated for the first whatever, eight weeks, whatever we are into the season, right? Now. That was kind of like the starting point, though, When Shield had that outburst, a lot of pictures we're told because another memo was sent out. Knock it off. We're going to start sending suspensions down the pike here Well, In Cole's next start, which came after the whole shalt incidents. On June 3rd his four primary pitches. The spin rate was down significantly and all of them and the Tampa Bay Rays scored five and, uh, defending Cy Young Award winner right, so all of a sudden That's what led to the question yesterday because Josh Donaldson pointed out Hey, notice something about Garrett Coal spin rate and Sure enough, the Yankees take on the Twins. And tonight, Garrett Coal will be on the Mount. It will be interesting to see what his spin rate is tonight. So Bret Taylor, who does a great job at Bleacher Nation, they have a bleacher nation Bears site, but his big one is Bleacher Nation cubs. He tweeted this this morning. The data set is still small, so you don't jump to any conclusions on one outing, but per statcast. Tommy Nancy's Who pitches for the Cubs average spin rate was enormously down last night 90 RPMs on his sinker. 199 rpm's on his four seam fastball, 237 RPMs on his curve ball again. That's one outing. His arm could have been tired with theirs. But you've got to think that in every freaking clubhouse Pity coaches walking in on Jonathan. You've got to knock it off. Okay, We've gotten.

"In six point per passing touchdown leagues back to back in yards per game finished third and fourth. And we're almost tied. Their their statistics were very similar When you factor in that. Herbert only played fifteen games Clyde edwards helaire versus david. Montgomery all that later. But let's talk about the game. Dave i'll give you the first word. What jumped out at you. Thirty one two nine. Oh goodness So i picked kansas city. That was that was great. And i did it understanding that they were going to play the game without both of their starting offensive tackles. They've been playing without. One of their starting offensive tackles for a while but i also thought that maybe at some point within the two weeks that the chiefs were preparing for the game. They might have said okay. How are we going to go about. Playing football without are two. Starting offensive tackles against tampa bay. And i guess andy. Reid was like no worries. Mike remers got it and just kind of blows my mind so like i said after the game they were expecting more man coverage. That's a whole separate conversation. We have data that said that like tampa bay gonna play zone coverage if you remember the week twelve game they were destroyed by man coverage there no doubt that they were going to see a lot of zone coverage but the offensive line stuff. Man is unforgivable. And the fact that the chiefs didn't have a counterpuncher anything that tampa bay through at them. It didn't even feel like it was remotely close to the kansas city. Offense that we've seen for the last three seasons. It was horrible and it was embarrassing for andy reid and his entire staff It's it's it's terrible. And now they know look into city has a lot in place already for twenty. Twenty one homes ain't going anywhere. We're isn't going anywhere. Kelsey and tyreek aren't going anywhere They'll get back. Do vernay tardif at guard. Both the tackles will theoretically be healthy enough to play at least at some point early on in the season but they need to improve the depth of that offensive line and add talent to it along with adding maybe another. Pass rusher on defense to make quarterbacks uncomfortable that that's where we're headed. I think the offense will be fine but just really an embarrassing display by the chiefs offense in the game against tampa. Yeah the homes. First time he's lost by more than ten points first time he has not scored. His team has scored a touchdown in a game that he started since high school It did not happen in college. Had not happened in the pros And then yeah you re looking at the set for next year. We'll talk about this later. But the bucks have some key. Free agents okay. Shaq barrett played on the franchise. Tag chris godwin gronkowski for now they antonio brown. They got some key. Free agents The chiefs sammy watkins kief reagents. You know they're pretty much coming back intact. But i guess my question. You know al throw this secret is like you could say andy reid be enemy there at fault or whatever and the tyreek hill quote about expecting man coverage was damning considering the bizarre so much zone but ridiculous when you consider what i said. No quarterback had ever been pressured as many times as mahomes was last night and yet tampa. Bay blitzed five times. They sent more than four rushers. five times. I don't know that there's any game planning when you can do when you're five guys up front. Just got their butts kicked over and over and over again by four guys up front. I don't know maybe they just got that and you don't blame it on the coaching. You just tip your hat to To the bucks front four and and and the secondary obviously play. Great to chris. What's your take. It felt a little bit at least in the first half..

Dave Kelsey Herbert Reid tyreek fifteen games Shaq barrett five guys five times six point next year david twenty four guys fourth first half chris Mike remers Montgomery third

"We're about an hour from kickoff in Tampa for Super Bowl 55 between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Sand. The duel between Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes legendary for a number of reasons, mainly because neither of these guys seems to lose very often. Well. Holmes has won 12 straight games either on the road or it at a neutral site, and it's been almost a year and a half since he's lost a game outside of Kansas City. How do you do it, Patrick said. Just soak it in all the glory of win the Super Bowl last year we went back to work and we want to work every single day to make ourselves better to prepare ourselves for every single situation that could arise has put us in this game. But we have to keep going. Just we'll find a great football team and we want to try to find a way to complete that running back toward the chief seek to become the first team to win consecutive Super Bowls Since Brady's Patriots did it 16 years ago, they will do so with Sammy Watkins in the lineup. He is active before the Chiefs for the first time since being sidelined by a calf injury in December. Antonio Brown is at Two for the Bucks. So all the star power for both teams should be on display. President Biden was on the CBS pregame show. He said he expects next year's Super Bowl. It's so five stadium in Los Angeles. To be played before a capacity crowd assigned that will be passed the pandemic and largely back to normal fingers crossed. Georgetown, faded laced faded late. They fell to third ranked Villanova, 84 74 despite shooting 50% from the floor, the wizard slide continued. They lose in Charlotte, now, 1 1997 Bradley Beal back to form with 31 points but in the losing cause, and the capital's defense had a total collapse in the third period. They gave up three goals and a 74 loss to the Flyers that is now three straight losses for the capital's Rob would fork w T O P Sports. Okay, Rob 5 47. "Time we got a Boston foul and it's the second team foul. This will be free throws coming. Or Dennis shrewder. Decent Tatum's telling Brian Forte didn't follow and look look to me like he did. Brian Forte's a heck of a lot closer than I am from the action right now, but a lot of layups, both teams Had a bunch of shots in the paint already testy. I mean, just shot charts going to be filled up already. There's no more room. All these shots are coming from in the paint. Spray throw good for sugar, and that's something Brad Stevens is really hard, but he really challenged this team a week ago to play better defensively, They're just not defending the way they have This the team that's been to the Eastern Conference finals three times in the last four years, and they've been excellent on the defensive end. Not so far this season. Troopers two free throws give the Lakers of 65 lead Boston with it. 9 20 left in the first Temple Walker using a screen. Gives it to the screen at the free throw line. Tyce is shot misses a D with a rebound ties over three. And if all been good looks, LeBron James has it on the right wing finds 80 right of the circle. Quick pass to KCP, curling into the lane stops in the low box and sit outside the castle. One dribble gives it to shrewder backs up beyond the arc with six to shoot. James Inside, 80 knocked away gets back with 3 80 spins 15 footer Good for Davis Leighton. The clock released switched Marcus Smart onto a D. So he knew when he caught the ball, he could shoot easily over the shorter, smart Four points. Four boards for Davis Lakers have a three point lead Jason Tatum out of the right wing holding on the Ark skips it across to the left side. Walker dribbles to the high post bounce pass to Thais outside Tatum for to shoot one Tribble. Let's go on a three and connects ties. The game at eight. Jason Tatum head fake, the defendant went by him. Anthony Davis saw it tried to get out to him, but Jason Tatum had plenty of time, Tatum said. His first two shots game tied at eight. Davis back to the basket against Tatum. Mid post left, backs him down into the lane hook shot off the glass. No loose on the baseline eighties. Got it and a whistle. As he goes back up, a foul will go. Against Boston. That's gonna be on Tyce, and that'll be his first test. Everybody talks.

"I'll Take both teams plus 3.5 Chiefs win and books. Win the game 3.5 not many like that. It's that half a point, right? That's always there so good at that. That's the one that always get you like. In fact, if you're if you're not betting just like outright if you're not betting money line Right? I would suggest if you you know, are betting on the favorites there. You might want to move the line 23 just just to protect yourself from that half a point. Desperately half a point that could get you but I mean, that shows you the should you know, on paper are a really good conference championship games. There's obviously that the chief's air an excellent team, and so were the Packers this year. But they are in no way. Uh, runaway favorites or even heavy favorites in this game, your dad the four best teams in the NFL, and none of them are, you know, are in there with a crazy weakness. You know, none of them are in there with a liability. At to be, you know, so we'll see. How things play out this week, and I will pick the favorites. I actually think buffalo might have. The better chance is upset. But what the hell do I know? I don't think any of us really know. At this point time I just was won over by green bass performance. Last week. I doubted them. Ah little bit based on the getting fat against their their division this year and only beating two teams with a winning record. But Tampa did handle Green Bay before and Ross Tucker just made an ex. Excellent point. When he was on here about the you know the defense of personnel. That Tampa has. They're also very aggressive under the coordinator who just has a pension for being really aggressive and how he plays, so I'm sure Todd Bowles is going to try and get after Aaron Rodgers. And that would not let him sit back and pick the Tampa Bay Buccaneers apart. But if you want to get involved in that conversation you can at 855 to 1 to 4 to 27 got about 10 minutes left here, 855212. 4 to 27. But before we do that, I'll get to all the topics I have not covered as of yet in another one..

"Free throws there at 61 little over 61%. That's something they obviously have to work on. The cover was picked ninth Washington State picked 12th in the Pac 12 preseason. Both teams are doing better. Yeah, at this moment and color, you know, e think Washington State has to feel really good where they are. Think Colorado would really look back on perhaps the Oregon State game and the Denver game and kick themselves, perhaps down the line here a little bit that they didn't do better, especially at Denver to get that win, But But Colorado has, I guess you could say, almost turned a corner a swell It's maybe not as big of a corner a sweet Washington state has done But Colorado is definitely achieved well. This year. I Yeah, I agree, And it's interesting. You bring up Oregon State. I don't What's gonna happen with that? They're not playing again this weekend. Um, they're struggling, and it has to do with hold it on the protocols and trying to pass. The protocol's been making sure the players are safe. So that's gonna be a bump in the road. I think for a lot of people in the Pac 12, but I think you're right. I think Colorado looks back on that and said We could have won that game. If we could just come in with our heads screwed on tight like they had like it. Hey, have been over the last three games. They played here at the event. Sir. I know it's tough to play on the road. Um, They've got Oregon here in a few weeks and then Oregon state potentially way Don't know about that. Yes. So that's that's one of the bumps. We're gonna have down the road. You certainly like to think whatever's going on at Oregon State is remedy in two weeks. Otherwise, they've got figure issues than we think.

"17 and Tony. It wasn't all that long ago that they were probably thinking loftier things in Arizona and Los Angeles. But the Cardinals and Rams now both in a position Where they're playing for their playoff lives, trying to figure out a way to win and get in. They face each other in this game. Obviously, one of these teams is not gonna win this game. If that team is Arizona, they're out. If it's the Rams, they're gonna be scoreboard watching. And there's a bunch of quarterbacks that we were pride in. Expect. I've seen this game of major Graf had thumb surgery this week's got, you know, John War Ford, You know, former, a F or whatever that lead was called. I think it'll stint in CFL. He's from my hometown where I live now in Jacksonville, and he's gonna get his first start. I believe it's the first time in NFL history that a quarterback's gonna get their initial start with the playoffs on the line, and this is a win and you're in type of game. This is playoff football and it's you know, both teams will be short handed, You know, injuries both quarterback positions. Colin Murray got beat up last week, so It's gonna be interesting game to see what happens, but one of them will be in the playoffs. Don't know that for sure it into this game. The Bear's got hot at the end of the season and now after their big win at Jacksonville last week, their home to close out the regular season against the Packers. Green Bay is playing for the number one overall seed. They win the game. They've got that. The bears trying to get into the playoffs right now, And you know you looked at this. And if the Packers have already wrapped up the number one seed, you would think that they'd be resting people. They're not. You know they're going all in because they want that by remember this is the year there's only one by In the NFL on both the NFC and Dave see that with the expanded playoffs. An extra team in there that once he's so valuable now and so they're going to do everything they can to win it. Aaron Rodgers is playing at a high level. They dominated the Tennessee Titans last week. You talked about the Bears and a blowout win against Jacksonville. Risk explain better, but really, it's about the run game with Chicago. David Montgomery's got it going on ever since he has that offense is different Scott and they're playing really well. This is a great historic game. As far as the team's division rivals. These teams don't like each other. There's a lot on the line for both teams. Bears have to win. If they win. They are in the Packers. They want the number one seed. If they do lose, there's a lot of other things that could happen. We'll get that a little bit, so I expect This is gonna be a good old you No grudge match punch in the mouth type of football game. It's at Soldier field, So the Bears have to feel good about that. If the Packers do lose, it would open up the door again for the New Orleans Saints, but not necessarily in the way you think. Because New Orleans at 11 and fours they go to Carolina to take on the Panthers. If they want the number one seed, they've gotta win. Green Base. Gotta lose and Seattle has to win. They need a three way tie. And that would give them the number one overall seed. Yeah, it's one of those situations. There's so many things that do need to happen that you can't really if you're the saint used to play the football game. Don't look at the scoreboard. Don't worry about it. Just go win the game get to 12 and four And you hope that everything else kind of falls your way. If it doesn't, you're probably gonna be the two or three seed, depending what those other games do, But you're for sure playing next week and you'll be playing at home. The point he gets the pants, a team that's you know, have a nice win against the Washington football team. It's a game they should win. They know that it's a division rival, so they're going to get the Panthers best. Matt rule is gonna want to finish the season the right way. But this is a must win for the saint if they want any chance that one seed And in a perfect cap to a covert regular season, Seattle and San Francisco play in Glendale, Arizona, the Niners he eliminated it six and nine Seahawks. As we told you still a chance at the number one overall seed, they need to win, and they need to see both Green Bay and New Orleans lose. Well, this is the one thing that Seattle does know that they're gonna get the forehand is best because that's what we've seen all year. This is a beat up injured. 40 Niners team without a lot of stars. They got cable back last week that help But look at that game against Arizona. They did such a great job, played great defense and have nothing to play forward. They've been on the road for months, like a month. It feels like it feels like a longer that because they got kicked out of their home state had work out of Arizona. And so it's a home game, but it's really it's an away game. I think it's gonna be a really tight match up. These games always go down to the wire. The sex obviously are in the playoffs, but they would love somehow if they could get that number one seed In the Washington football team clinched the NFC East title on Sunday night football. Or will the winner of the Giants Cowboys game? Steal the division crown?.
