I was born in the UK, but that wasn't enough for this person. Prince William's office quickly responded by saying racism has no place in our society as he sought to prevent the backlash during his visit to Boston. Kyle Seraphin: FBI Waited a Year to Investigate Jan. 6 Bomber

"The first one was a story yesterday I was making the rounds I was going to get to it on my show unfortunately I didn't It was a story about a whistleblower and the January 6th bomber case And the whistleblower has told someone in the media that apparently the FBI the Washington field office specifically he took a year to open up a case on this alleged bomber who was alleged to have planted bombs in front of the DNC and the RNC that day before the January 6th incident there Well what would take so long to do that I mean I thought this was a big national security case I mean the insurrection and all that stuff They seem to be really interested in everyone else who showed up on January 6th What are your thoughts on that Well I mean it's pretty troubling So you may already know this but I was assigned to Washington field office on January 6th 2021 And I was there for a few more months until I left That was full 5 years of being there And at that time I was assigned to a surveillance squad in the second or maybe the third week of January My team was put on a potential subject of the pipe bomber case and we followed him for maybe a week and a half and change And then we were pulled from that assignment which we were told was a high priority assignment at the time to go and sit in our office and re January 6 leads that came in from the dregs of society that got forwarded over from West Virginia at what's called end talk And so I was always shocked by that I reached out to my buddies recently to find out if that ever got you know if they ever got retasked to that assignment and they didn't And so I'm wondering if they just dropped the ball so dramatically for a nefarious purpose or for incompetence but either way it's bizarre because that was the most terrorist like activity that we saw on that day And that was the thing that I'd be the most concerned about just as a regular citizen let alone being a law enforcement professional

The Link Between the DNC and FTX With Natalie Winters

"Published numerous articles on this topic on the FDX scandal. Your expertise in the past for us has been on COVID. What's going on in China? We're going to discuss all that and more. Please follow this lady right now. Natalie winters on Twitter. So let's begin at the beginning. I'm a complete neophyte, I'm a skeptic Bitcoin is all a big con, although I do like, you know, a financial system or a carrier of worth. It is independent of the fed and other government influences. But give us the basics. Let's start at the beginning. Who is Caroline Ellison? And who is this Sam bankman of freed? What do we need to know about FTX? Because they had their own currency, but this is also a kind of aggregator of other Bitcoin investments. But you give us the one O one, please. Sure. I too am a luddite in the sense that I think cryptocurrency is a scam and it always has been in this whole FTX incident is just the latest example of that, but there's really interesting political ramifications really worldwide that you can sort of tease out from the unraveling of FTX. So I think most people know Sam bankman freed. I think that interview you just played of Caroline Allison is probably a close runner up to some of the more awkward interviews that SBS has given. But Sam bankman freed really became one of the leading donors to the Democratic Party during the 2020 campaign. Of course, in the midterms. And other second biggest off the George Soros, correct? $40 million. But also other, I know you know that I talk a lot about COVID and the Chinese Communist Party. They're also links with FTX there as well. But sandbank has also been sort of bankrolling using his billions of dollars to fund different advocacy groups that aren't even necessarily political expenditures in a campaign sense, but his brother. Lots of conservative ones I'm sure like Second Amendment pro life organizations. Right, Natalie. Oh, of course. Yeah, no, not quite. One of my favorite ones, because again, as Steve always says on board, there are no conspiracies only coincidences. But Sam bankman freed's brother was actually appointed to run a group called guarding against pandemics where they deployed hundreds of thousands of dollars to run ads to help Joe Biden pass pandemic legislation, but before I get into the weeds on that, all of that to say that SPF is a major power player within the kind of ecosystem of democratic campaign financing, but it's more than just that $40 million sum that was deployed in the most recent midterm election.

Danielle Joins Dinesh to Talk About a Controversy at Yale Law School

"So Danielle, let's talk a little bit about this business, Yale law school, a prominent judge, James hole, says I'm not going to hire any more clerks from Yale law school because they're regularly suppressing free speech. In fact, there was an event in which a conservative speaker. This is Christian Wagner of the alliance defending freedom. Was there to speak at Yale? The students began to shout and scream and prevent her from speaking. There was a dean of Yale in the audience who did nothing even to ask them to quiet down and then later the dean of the law school, this has had the gherkin said no action would be taken against any of the students. And so this judge has mentioned that incident and others and he goes, listen, you know, I don't really want to punish the students, but I want to punish Yale. I like what he says, you know, he goes, I don't want to cancel Yale. I want Yale to stop canceling people like me. So, and now if it was just him, it'd be one thing, but other judges have joined in and Yale is having a freak out. Yeah, that is good because Yale should not be able to get away with this. And the reason they get away with it is because people continue to hire them. That's the main reason these students want to go to schools like this and so that they get these Supreme Court clerkships and so that they get good jobs afterwards. So if more judges like him say we don't want to hire these students, these graduates, then Yale is not going to like that because they will not be able to supply those jobs for some of those students. So if other judges are doing the same thing, that will hurt Yale overall.

Missionary Jacob Pursley Unpacks the Armenian Genocide

"Tell us about the Armenian Genocide. So in 1894, there was a massacre of around 200,000 Armenians, and this was done by sultan Hamid the second. And he basically the Christians living in the Ottoman Empire at that time were under this thing called Demi status under Demi too and they had different laws they had to adhere to as second class citizens. So if any Armenian would transgress their law, they were collectively punished by the Ottoman government. Not individually. Collective punishment. Because let's say, for example, it was illegal to share the gospel with a Muslim or if you had a church and the cross kind of fell. If you wanted to put the cross back up, that was illegal. You had to go through all of these. There's a whole list of laws, a Dimitri laws. And they were not allowed to own weapons to defend themselves. Their testimony was worth half a Muslim, so they had a lot of oppression. And there was an incident happened in an area of turkey where the Ottomans saying we're just going to massacre these people. And they did that started in 1894 to 1896. Systemic planned. Yes, murder. Right. And then there's this group that you have heard of called the Young Turks that come along. I've heard about, I don't know if you know this in America. Oh yeah. But there's a media organization called the Young Turks. Oh yeah, when I got along very well. I was shocked, Kirk. I was like, that's like calling your organization the Nazi. You hurt their youth. We're not. It's that bad. Oh, it is that bad.

Tim Barton: Delaying Votes Decreases Trust in Election Systems

"Tim, looking back throughout American history, have there been incidents where the election ballots can not be counted or have not been counted in one day or is this something that's a fairly new issue in American politics? This is a fairly new phenomenon what we are seeing now certainly if you look at states, historically. I mean, if you're going back to the 1700s, yes, there were times that it could take them weeks for an election to wrap up, but that's because people are getting on a horseback and they were bringing the news across the state on a horseback and there could have been crazy storms or things going on. We're not in an era where you have to bring the tally of vote on a horseback across the state. It's utterly ridiculous right now and really this is something apart from like 2000 with the hanging chads in Florida or in 2020. We've not seen something like this. And the fact that it's happening in such a technologically advanced era indicates that something about this is not right. I heard you're going to talk to Kerry lakes here and a little bit later in the program. She will very readily identify what's going on in Arizona. This is crazy giving the era we live in and the longer you delay these results, the less trust the American people have in the process because it just doesn't seem or smell right the way it's being done.

"6 O three on this humid Thursday morning. It's August 25th. We're at 72 now headed up to around 90 later. Good morning, I'm Joan Jones. And I'm Bruce Allen, here at the top local stories we're following for you this hour. 80,000 kids are heading back to school this morning in loudoun county. They'll encounters some new policies when they walk through the door with the exception of preschool programs, masks are now optional. And a program that provides free meals during the COVID emergency has ended. Student meals will now cost what they did before the pandemic began. Also parents and students can now track where their school bus is using an app called stop finder that allows them to set up notifications showing where the bus is, eliminating the need for long waits at the bus stop, although there have been some problems with the app. Dozens of school aged kids are among an influx of migrants who have been bused into the district recently, and we've learned that the D.C. public school system is offering to help them enroll. D.C. schools Chancellor Lewis therapy says of the migrants who've arrived, there are about 40 children who may end up going to classes. Will ensure that they have access to their neighborhood school. D.C. has been working to deal with thousands of migrants bused in by the governors of Texas and Arizona as a way to protest the Biden administration's immigration policies and fair be says the school system has enough resources to chip in. Whether it's housing or there's questions around supporting the family with family needs, we also provide that level of support as well. Nick I Nellie double TOP news. Police continue to search this morning for an SUV connected to yesterday's deadly mass shooting on north capitol street in northwest D.C.. "People to find such work, which granted them the possibility of a decent standard of living, growing families, of having decent housing, to strive economically whilst not necessarily becoming disgustingly rich, seems an important prerequisite for a thriving life. But when you examine the landscape of work, it is a profoundly uncertain fast changing and disrupting landscape and one of which is very, very difficult to make safe bets. And what we found was that schools across the world are really interested in enabling young people to focus on the worlds of work, not with a determination about a single career path, but rather with a level of flexibility and inquiry and a sense of growth, if you like, about where they might make their contribution. And be prepared to change that over a lifetime. Hence, we suggested that the best thing that schools can do in this front is to enable young people to navigate that transforming landscape of work with some degrees of confidence in their own capability to learn and relearn and change their perhaps even their fields of endeavor and their field of expertise. So that was one. And if I just do the last bit very quickly, I'm sure a media will want to add a bit to this. In defining what is a thriving society, we were very influenced by a piece of work by two sociologists from both incident Pickett who wrote a very influential book called the spirit level and in that they asked the question, what is a thriving society? And counterintuitively pointed to the fact that if you aggregate all the indicators of thriving, which I could have unarguable, like levels of suicide, levels of unemployment, levels of homelessness, postnatal mortality, levels of incarceration, you know, markers that were really, you could not argue were indicators of a thriving society or the reverse. If you aggregate those, you found that the most thriving societies were actually not the richest. They were the ones who distributed whatever resources they had most equitably. Which is an enormously interesting finding because if you're saying that equitable distribution resources is a precursor to author thriving societies on the whole against all those indicators. Then the question becomes, well, how do you get more equitable societies? Now, here you do, as it were, risk moving into the ideological. But to get more equity, we propose democracy is the best route that we so far have managed to design imperfectly very imperfectly and we point out in the book how for many people democracy has been a disappointment. Indeed, young people have turned away from democracy and we feel that the results of doing that are extremely dangerous. So our proposal in the book is that actually, for moving in the direction of more equitable societies, young people need to be enabled to really engage with recreating redesigning democracy for all, which sounds high, highfalutin and kind of grandiose and we're unashamed of that because we think that actually learning for a new form of democracy is one of the most important things that education systems ought to be doing right now. And everything since 2016, when democracy took an absolute hammering,.

Three on a day when neither of the championship contenders scored any points. We saw two big accidents today causing end to racist of launched row and max western both incidents strikingly similar as they suffered from left. And i think it's safe to say that none of us could have predicted how today played out. And i'm joined by jonathan noble might spoil dot com f. one editor and jess mcfadden director of district strachey for export network. Thank you for joining may. Now before we get into the race recap. Let's kick straight off with your ratings jess. Yeah it's always. It's always hard to go straight into a rating the race like best because the so much unpack and where we get insane. Events happening then. Don't want to just go based on the sensationalism of big crashes and things. You wanna go a little bit more and go. Actually how good. This was this race as a race and those a lot of talk right at the beginning of the fact that when hamilton's got the lead over leclerc that it was going to be really boring and kind of like a management set procession to the to the line but us no week goal so there was a lot going on and see we did have the instance that we had a much. I think i'm going to give it an eight point. Five ten k. I think it was. I think it was. I think it was good. But i think without without the taya complications it could have been a little bit more of a straightforward rice even though themes the first initial pitstops were interesting and we had lots of things going on and it kind of it was starting to settle until we had launched stroz blow out and all it all changed totally changed. But i guess that's the nature of back like we know this stuff can happen backer but until that point it was kind of going into a bit below for me and then it it kicked off so i wanted to kind of like could come out and just ten because i'm still living on a high right now of everything that's happened but i think having gone away and had think about it i'm going to give it a solid eight point five not still strong gusts very strong john a you on the same wavelength of the difficulty of giving ratings like this. Is you have a sensation race. Then the next race is better than if you give one more point. Then you end up giving five races down the road you have to give thirteen points out of ten for some. So you quite gas. And i'd love to have to give thirty now. Tend to some races. Quite carefully awarding high points. I think we've out the without the verstappen tire. Blowout and without the louis instant would have been a much less spectacular race Body was it was good quite rarely. Do you get an opening phase to race where No one's able to break away basically the unpredictability of the undercover the over the strongest. And then obviously the red flag drama fat So good but there were equally a phase where it looks like it's going to be a straightforward ripple one two with louis third vet'll forfeit ghastly fifth. So it wasn't. It wasn't building up took a chandelier. We had in bahrain for example where the race was coming alive and really uncertain could go either way and if you re run it you wouldn't be sure what would happen side I've not sure if eight point five but it's more than more than a seven do important. Five's we'll do. I feel like you should be allowed. Maybe i'll give it seven point five just because if if it'd been a class of battle potentially between the leaders say peres max louis. They were fighting more for the win down. Think you'd elevator into the layer of eights. So i'm going seven point five. I am quite easy. Pleased if they even raise his monaco. I quite enjoyed so lost. People activated it so my my bar is quite quite low. Can you bought your bars quite and yet you're gonna give seven point four the low-powered i'm quite heart of master. Say about you arianna. Did you give it right. So i'm i'm going to go in the middle of uta. I'm gonna say an eight. Because i agree. I think the the drama of it definitely elevated it and allowed the race to unravel away. It did but had not been for those fake instance. I think we wouldn't have actually seen much more as you guys have said so. I'm going to go in the middle for eight. I think it was super exciting. Really really exciting. And i cannot predict it on wrapping like that. Atl which i know from a race. And i love back. Yeah definitely a little bit by staff but for anyone who may have missed the race all might just want to relive the How exactly did it go down. While off the line charlotte i held onto the lead but on lap three to pass the ferrari to take the lead and before long bike ride bose also made their way to the class who dropped back to fourth. Hamilton was the fastest three to pit on lap. Thirteen how briefly as gazi was let past.
