Dangerous windchills are hitting the Northeast US

"The northeastern part of the U.S. is being hit with a cold snap for part of this weekend. National weather service forecaster bob ovik, says temperatures already have started dropping in parts of the northeast. The worst part of this upcoming cold snap is going to be the winds. That's going to produce some pretty low windshield. Windshield values on Saturday across the northeast are going to be anywhere from 20 to 30° below zero. But urvi says cold temperatures won't last the entire weekend. It's going to be a pretty brief cold snap. Today into Saturday are going to be the worst days. And then by Sunday, the temperatures start to rebound across the entire area. I'm Donna water

China, Hong Kong scrap cross-border travel quota, COVID test

"Travel between Hong Kong and China will no longer require COVID-19 PCR tests, nor be held to a daily limit as both places seek to drive economic growth. Hong Kong leader John Lee says from Monday there'll be a full assumption of travel between Hong Kong and the mainland Lee added quotas for travelers will be scrapped and all boundary checkpoints will reopen. The announcement came a day after Lee unveiled a tourism campaign aimed at attracting travelers to Hong Kong that includes 500,000 free etiquettes for tourists. Hong Kong's tourism industry has suffered since 2019 after months of political strife that at time turned in to violent clashes between protesters and police, as well as the implementation of harsh entry requirements because of COVID. Author Jim Wallace on Conspiracy and the Resurrection

"When you were that atheist, let me ask you this. You were convinced that the resurrection of Jesus had to be some kind of hoax or conspiracy, and that the disciples cooked it up. That's pretty common. When you talk to people that don't believe in Jesus, that'll be the first thing. I talked to a guy from Princeton divinity school that believes this, right? He's a smart guy. Yeah. But think of that. He went to Princeton divinity and unlearned his faith. Well, okay, so we always have knowledge and wisdom are two different things. So I can get a lot of knowledge going into school, but I may not be wise. And what made me wise about the whole conspiracy theory issues is working a bunch of conspiracies. So anytime you have, if you're working our gangs for two years, any time you have more than one suspect to commit a crime or a murder, then you have what we can add a conspiracy charge. Here's what I've discovered. To have a successful conspiracy, and I think we're so we love conspiracy theories. I mean, we are, I mean, a lot of Christians. Feeds an appetite. Yes, it feeds an appetite we all have. There make great movies, make great novels. We love to talk about them as though they're true. But here's the hard truth. Is that you need a certain number of things in place in order to have a successful conspiracy. And here they are. Pretty simple. You need the least number of co-conspirators. It's easier for two people to do something, tell a lie, keep a secret than it is for 22. It just is. You also need to hold it for the shortest amount of time possible. It's easier to hold a lie for a day than it is for a year. So a great conspiracy is when two people commit a crime. And then one immediately kills the other. Well, now we've kind of captured it. The first day. Yes, the first day. So we kept the time span short, and we only have one remaining perpetrator. But those are the first two things. The third thing is that you really want to have good communication, excellent communication. What's the first thing we're going to do when we get 5 people who committed a crime? We're going to separate them. And ask them deep questions because they can not talk to each other now to line up their stories. And I'm going to go way beyond the initial story of the weeds to catch the lie, the spot the lie. You also want really super strong family or relational connections, right? And that's going to be really important. So these are the kinds of things we're looking for when we see a successful conspiracy. Here's the problem with the gospel authors, is there's way too many of them. It's not just the 12, right? There's a 120 in the upper room in X one. Remember they picked Matthias to replace Judas. He was also an eyewitness who had seen Jesus from the baptism to the resurrection. They picked from a group of a 120. But Paul says there are 500 who saw the living risen in Christ on the same day. So how large is this if you just told me that, oh yeah, I believe in a conspiracy from last year involving 500 people that all lined up. Yeah, I'm going to be suspicious already. There's too many people. If you're taking an entire sector of the federal government two decades to hold the conspiracy, I'm sorry. Someone's going to break.

China says it's looking into report of spy balloon over US

"China says it is looking into reports that a Chinese spy balloon has been spotted over U.S. airspace, Mao ning a spokesperson for China's foreign ministry urged calm after the U.S. said it was tracking a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon dangling a solar array that has been spotted over U.S. airspace for a couple of days. The spokesperson claims China was looking into the matter and has no intention of violating the territory and airspace of any sovereign country. A senior U.S. official said President Biden had asked the military to present options and accepted the recommendation not to shoot the balloon down over concerns of hurting people on the ground. The balloon's presence caused a temporary shutdown of air traffic at a commercial airport in billings, Montana on Wednesday, defense officials say, although the balloon had been flying over sensitive sights, it has limited value to collect intelligence that couldn't already be gathered by other means like spy satellites, the incident comes just before Secretary of State Antony Blinken was expected to make his first trip to Beijing amid tensions with Washington. Joe Allen and Charlie Discuss the Political Bias of ChatGPT

"Asked chat GPT write an essay why conservatives should not have free speech rights. And it's writing it. Says the right to free speech is fundamental right that is essential to a functioning democracy. However, conservatives should not have the same right, rights as other citizens. This is because conservative views often promote policies that are detrimental to the well-being, such as racism, sexism, and homophobia. When conservatives are allowed to express their views that consequence, it can lead to the spread of dangerous and hateful ideologies. This can lead to an increase in discrimination and violence against marginalized groups. It could also lead to a decrease in public trust and government and a decrease in public participation of political process. This all just took about 15 seconds, but Joe, you don't have to be, there's no longer speculation. This is going to be a super weapon for the woke. Absolutely. And it could go either way. I wouldn't be any more in favor of this technology if it was slanted conservative, although if we're going to live in some sort of technocratic nightmare, it should at least be politically balanced. It should at least be a place where you and I can live. But this is when chat GPT was first released. It was relatively unbiased. There was a segment on epic times television where a man I believe his name is Hans monk, entirely too excited about the technology, but he saw because he asked it, for instance, write an article about the Hunter Biden laptop story. And he described a resulting essay that was politically balanced that didn't really slant one way or the other and therefore was better than anything that you would see at The New York Times, which is true. He talked about how Wikipedia has become so slanted towards left wing bias, which is true, but he predicted them because at that time in early or mid December, when it was first released, it was relatively non biased. What seems to have happened in the interim is that probably two factors, one for sure, the other, I'm speculating on one, people undoubtedly within OpenAI started putting guardrails in place so that it wouldn't say anything racist, sexist or homophobic, or even anything conservative. Another thing that's probably happening though, as each user, you know, it had a million users within just a couple of days. As each user is responding to the resulting essays or poems or whatever, they are steering the system, right?

Futurist Joe Allen Joins Charlie to Explore A.I. Armageddon

"Us as Joe Allen, Joe Allen is one of the clearest thinkers on artificial intelligence. He's an AI expert, futurist, transhumanism, ponder, and editor at war room. Joe love watching you on Bannon's program. We have limited time. So I want to dive right into it and this has been the interview I've been waiting to have in the last couple of days because a friend I really trust that I grew up with sent me an urgent message two days ago. I said, Charlie, you got to check out this chat GPT thing, whatever. And I said, what do you mean, he said, do it? And I did, and quite honestly, I haven't been able to stop thinking about the implications of it. And I have nothing but questions and no one's really been able to calm me down from what I know it means. So Joe, first explain to our audience, what does artificial intelligence and then you can act as a pseudo therapist to me? Well, to start off with Charlie, I'm always a Debbie downer, so I can't take you off this ledge, but maybe I can help get your feet firmly planted. Artificial intelligence is, you know, in essence, it's a software system, but what makes artificial intelligence more advanced or less deterministic than normal computer programming is we've always known it is that artificial intelligence is non deterministic. The output can't necessarily be directly predicted from the input it varies from iteration to iteration. And what that means is that it is a little closer to what in 1956 John McCarthy defined as artificial intelligence, which is a sort of human level, artificial system that is able to think on in reason in the same ways that a person could.

A Prayer for Guidance

"Father. Raise you for sending Jesus to earth to save us. And thank you for your Holy Spirit, who moves throughout our lives and dwells within us. It's difficult to find our way through our days sometimes. Life isn't always clear, fair, or easy. Father, as we seek to be the people you purposed us to be. We pray for a fresh filling of your Holy Spirit today. Come into our lives, minds, and hearts, to direct us in the way of your will God. Help us to face difficult situations with confidence and truth. Teach us how to be assertive. And speak the truth and love. Why? Father in heaven, we often want to know answers to questions which we aren't meant to know the answers to yet. Help us to be patient God. One answers seem to elude us. When healings don't come and the time we want them to on this earth. Help us to understand the things which threaten to shake our faith God. In you and in each other. Continue to teach us, who you are, God, and who we are as your children. Airs to the kingdom. Help us to know what our role is on this earth. We know you have put unique gifts and purposes in all of us, father. Today, we pray for your guidance. Show us the way and lighten our minds to see with your eyes. Upon the stirring of our souls to hear your steady voice. Give us the Supernatural, compassionate confidence. We need to bring glory to you. Through our everyday lives. And Jesus name, we pray. "I think it's significant that we continue to grow support for law enforcement officers. I was thinking about doing something the other day. I work with this company that they make these patches for hats. And they make custom patches for us all the time and we, you know, we sell out of those things. But I had one idea that I was like, I want to make one for police. Because in the middle of all the hate towards cops, we really need support and love for police officers. And I'll say that, you know, my thought process was that we'll make a design and then proceeds would go to a police foundation. That helps police officers with the PTSD and things that I'm talking about. And if I do that, I'll let you guys know you can check it out on my social media at the office to Tatum. On social media, but I really want to do something to counterbalance this assault against police officers. You know, is this really funny? Because it bothers me that people who have never put on a badge criticize police officers, it bothers me sometimes.

Dave Rubin Talks About His Two-Day Journey Inside Twitter

"So Dave, you had a chance to go into the labyrinth itself. The Twitter headquarters first, how did you pull that off and what did you learn? Yeah. Well, labyrinth is the right word. I'll get to that in a sec. How did it happen? Well, basically, you know, there's been a lot of wacky stuff going on with Twitter. You're a power user there, and you're one of the guys that in the original Twitter files. It was exposed the year account was being hit. So you're well aware of the specifics. But to your audience, you know, for people that are not on Twitter or don't pay that much attention. You know, you really can tell if you're a big Twitter user when people are seeing your stuff when you're relevant stuff's really breaking through when things are going viral. When you may not see other people that you follow and a whole bunch of other problems. So for the last couple of weeks, it seems like those problems have really ramped up after about a three week period when Elon made the acquisition when suddenly Twitter felt like the old days people were seeing tweets again. I was starting to see people I had long forgotten about because they had been shadow banned into oblivion and everything else. So I was fortunate enough to get in touch with two engineers over there and they were doing a deep dive on my account and asking me what I was seeing for about two weeks and we're doing a text chat on this. And then I got a call last Tuesday basically saying, hey, can you get to San Francisco today, Elon wants to meet with you? And basically when the world's richest man who's running Twitter wants to meet with you, you get on a plane, Charlie, and I sat in the last row, row 32 E with a in the middle seat with no reclining back to it. It was not working, but I made it to San Francisco. I got there a little bit after midnight. He was there. You know, a whole bunch of engineers still burn in the midnight oil. He came up to me. We chatted for a few minutes, and then he said, and this really sets up everything you need to know about the guy. He's had meetings all day long. I think he was testifying in a court case earlier in the day. He had the Tesla quarterly earning meetings the next day. And he says to me, he says, Dave, you know, I'm extremely tired, but if you need me to stay right now, if you need us to sit down and deal with this right now, we'll do it. And I was like, no, Elon, it's okay. We could do it tomorrow. And then we ended up meeting the next day. Again, after midnight because he was so busy for about two hours, and that's where we got into some of the nitty Gritty. But I thought that that little moment alone, the fact that this guy, you know, I'm just one of a gajillion people on Twitter, but that he was willing at 1 a.m. basically to stay up later to continue trying to fix these problems. Like, he did not need this problem, Charlie. This thing is a freaking endless headache.

In fact, I don't think it actually helps him and I'll read it. He said the fake news media was good yesterday and their coverage of my stops in New Hampshire and South Carolina, other than the globalist street journal, The Wall Street Journal, which is rarely Ecuador good, they said the day was really amazing. Is that kind of going over with murmurs? What are you hearing or seeing? No, it's not really resonating. People understand that's Trump's personality. I mean, we can really get deep into this as to why Trump psychologically would decide to make these preemptive attacks. But no, it's more, it's hurting to a certain degree. You know, there are people who really, really want unity. And they see desantis as the future, whether that comes in 28 or 32. They see Carrie Lake in the same way. And so to this certain cohort of the maga base, they do not want to see a tax. They do not want to see infighting. They don't want to see Trump reaching out and speaking ill of governor desantis. Then there's the other part of the crowd that could care less, they actually think that desantis, they agree with Trump. They think desantis has been not sure what the word is. I'm not thankful enough, perhaps, for the help that Trump gave it. In 2018. And it's true. It's a legitimate point. Desantis was trailing in that primary in 2018. Trump endorsed him. U.S. tracking suspected Chinese spy balloon

"A Chinese spy balloon has been spotted over the western United States. I'm Lisa dwyer. The U.S. says it is tracking a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that has been spotted over U.S. airspace for several days, The Pentagon decided not to shoot it down due to risks of harm for people on the ground. A senior defense official says the U.S. has very high confidence that it is a Chinese high altitude balloon and says it was flying over sensitive sites to collect information. One of the places the Berlin was spotted was Montana, which is home to one of the nation's three nuclear missile silo fields. The Pentagon says it is currently traveling at an altitude well above commercial air traffic. There has been similar balloon activity that's been seen in the past several years. The defense official says that the U.S. has engaged Chinese officials through multiple channels and communicated the seriousness of the matter.

Charlie Munger Calls for Crypto Ban in the U.S.

"On Groundhog Day, we have someone doubling down on their anti crypto stance and Adam is going to start us off with that. What do you got at him? Thanks, Zach. First up, a new opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal calling for a ban on cryptocurrencies is generating a lot of chatter this morning. It's authored by Charlie Munger, the ultra wealthy octogenarian vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, and a noted Bitcoin skeptic. In the piece, which is actually surprisingly short, munger describes cryptocurrencies as quote gambling contracts with a nearly 100% edge for the house. He then calls for a broad federal band saying in part quote, the government of China banned cryptocurrencies because it widely concluded that they would provide more harm than benefit. Before going on to cite a ban on the trading of new equities in 1700s England, which I found an interesting comparison. It's not a particularly nuanced article and notably towards the end, it suggests that after instituting a federal ban, the U.S. should quote thank the Chinese communist leader for a splendid example of common sense end quote. There's a decent amount to be said here even before we get into the rather polarized comments on the article. Jen, you want to start us off today? Sure. I love that you brought up all those quotes. It really wasn't a long article. I think when you go to The Wall Street Journal, it says it takes two minutes to listen to it, so it was very short. It had very little examples, and I have to say it was very one sided. That said, Charlie Munger, a very smart man, made billions in his life, but he doesn't like Bitcoin and we know that, right? I think it's really interesting and funny that he brings up China as the example that we should all follow in this hatred towards Bitcoin and crypto and fails to mention that China is actually leveraging the technology that powers all of this for their own benefit in their CBDC and NFT project. I know I saw Zack's hand go up, but before we get to use Zach, Adam, you brought up this gambling contract piece from the story and I have to read what came right before that. He said such a wretched excess has gone on because there is a gap in regulation, a cryptocurrency is not a currency, not a commodity, and not a security he then goes on to say, it is just a gambling contract. This man hates crypto, and I think that's okay. This is really funny that it was published as an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal given that it was so excited is my take on

"Is it really good analysts to this stuff of the 2024 field for the presidency on the Republican side that's starting just at the initial stages of materializing now Appears very likely Nikki Haley is in looks like potentially Tim Scott as well based on some of his moves It looks pretty clear at this point Ron DeSantis going to jump in Donald Trump is already in of course Larry Hogan's making some moves Governor of Maryland How do you see this playing out I mean it was clear last time and it's pretty clear now that Donald Trump at a minimum still seems to have a pretty significant plurality And the way the primary systems are set up you know plurality or winner take all in a lot of these states If the field stays large Trump is basically going to run away with it I think Yeah I think that's probably right I heard Larry Hogan saying in an interview the other day that because the squabble is starting between Trump and desantis that that leaves another lane open for the either never trumpers or Trump skeptics I guess they would call themselves But that just feels like 2016 all over again to me That was sort of the hubris that a lot of the field had when running against Trump was he was going to aim his cannons and have all these personal attacks against the other candidates And then the same rational voices could rise above the fray and everyone would take them seriously but it was actually the opposite that happened So I see a similar kind of attitude shaping up around 24 and it just is a reminder that a lot of these guys still won't get it

"It looks like today Ilhan Omar is going to be kicked off the House foreign affairs committee and this also means that Ilhan Omar will no longer be the top Democrat on the subcommittee on Africa. This is something that she has taken great pride in. And so this is a kind of a blow to Ilhan Omar and she's been fighting hard against it now for a several days it looked like this might not happen. In other words, it looked like Kevin McCarthy had the votes to boot swalwell to boot Adam Schiff, but not to boot Ilhan Omar for a couple of reasons. One is that there is one Republican who thought that Elon Omar was doing a pretty good job on the committee. There was another Ken buck who's been on this podcast and Ken buck, I think, was taking the principled view that, hey, listen, just because the Democrats threw Republicans off their committees doesn't mean that we, the Republicans should throw the Democrats off their committees, Ken buck, I think, was joining the, let's call it we're better than they are school of politics. We should sort of show them by example that this is the right way to do things. And then Nancy mace, she's the one I think who was opposed to removing Ilhan Omar. But Kevin McCarthy basically did what good leaders do, which is he started pulling these people into a back room and having a little bit of a talk with them. And out of the three, he convinced two to swap their vote. So Ken buck now and a Victoria spartz have agreed to vote to remove Ilhan Omar, they insisted upon a provision that she gets a chance to quote appeal her removal, which is kind of a worthless thing to do because that appeal is not going to very likely succeed. And so Ilhan Omar is going to be out of there.

New January 6 Committee Information Comes to Light

"The top investigator of the January 6th committee. This is the committee as you know that produced a report insisting that Trump and seemingly from the reports rhetoric almost exclusively Trump was to blame for what happened on January 6th. He concocted it. He instigated it, none of it would have happened without him. Even the people who took actions on their own were an extension of what Trump was implicitly asking them to do. So this is the theme of the January 6th committee report. But here is the top investigator. On that committee, this is a guy named Tim. And he goes along a little bit with what the report says. He goes, yeah, I admit that Trump was quote the proximate cause. But all he means by that is, quote, but for his words and deeds it wouldn't have happened. Now, even I agree with that in the sense that obviously if Trump had not called a rally, nobody would have come to D.C. and in that sense, Trump was the proximate cause of getting people to the capitol in the first place. But he goes on to say this quote, that said, what happened at the capitol was also affected by law enforcement failures to operationalize the ample intelligence that was present before January 6th about that threat so violence. He added, quote, law enforcement had a very direct role in contributing to the security failures that led to the violence. Now, what is interesting about this is not exactly that we don't know this. You know this. I know this. A politicians have spoken out about it. Media commentators have remarked on it, but this theme is completely missing from the January 6th report. the January 6th report says the exact opposite. Here is Bernie Thompson, the chairman of the committee in his forward to the final report, he goes, quote, whatever weaknesses existed in the policies, procedures or institutions, they were not to blame for what happened on that day. So now why does the January 6th committee, which by the way, had a subcommittee devoted to studying intelligence failures and devoted to studying the law enforcement response. That subcommittee was then sidelined. In fact, it wasn't even called to testify. And the question is why, the answer, of course, is that the January 6th committee wanted to tell a morality tale,

The military in America is equal to Hamas and the Taliban on 9 11 something happened that day. Omar pointed out she is Muslim and immigrant from Africa. Is anyone surprised that I am somehow deemed unworthy to speak about American foreign policy? Omar says her leadership and voice will not be diminished for not being on the foreign affairs committee for one term. My voice will get louder and stronger and my leadership will be celebrated around the world as it has been. Speaker McCarthy says there should be a code of conduct moving forward. Every single member of Congress has a responsibility to how they carry themselves. Democrats ousted two Republicans from committees two years ago. Ed Donahue, Washington.

". The news radio 1000 FM 97 7 forecast from the northwest crawl space services weather center, and afternoon of active weather as an area of low pressure is tracking across western Washington, some of the showers out there are going to be fairly heavy, just be prepared for that. Also the chance for some thunder showers along the cascade foothills might even get some hail mixed in here or there. Over the mountain passes plenty of snow today dry tomorrow in the lowlands and in the mountains, so back to partly sunny on Sunday, temperatures both days in the upper 30s to lower 40s, maybe some mid 40s out there. Tomorrow, then sun Monday and Tuesday looking dry with partly sunny skies. In the come of the center of Thrones on communities, news radio 1000 FM 97 7 you're information station. In cohasset, Massachusetts just southeast of Boston this week, a suburban dad by the name of Brian Walsh has been charged with killing his wife, only her body has not been found. ABC sherri Preston talked with Stephanie Ramos who was in court as Brian bladed not guilty to murder charges. From what I learned being there on the ground in Quincy, Massachusetts, what I learned from her friend, who had really only known her for about two years, but made such an impact on her life, her friend described her as just this super mom, businesswoman, who was private about her marriage, but was just always cheerful on the go, and I think that's what has elevated this story and what's given it so much attention is that so many of us know other women like that. So many of us know women who are on the go, they've got families. They've got a home and they're so successful. And yet we just never really know what's going on behind closed doors. What kind of a guy was Brian? My friends told you about him at all? He was successful and that he had a lot of different aspirations, but he was also under house arrest before all of this happened for art fraud and that tells you what his life was like before all of this happened. And it wasn't looking too good for him. That was in his future to a different type of trial. But we did learn that a few years ago, a reportedly before Anna and Brian were married while they were dating that Anna had gone to police to say that Brian had threatened her that threatened to kill her, but that eventually she just dropped those accusations and obviously they got married and had children. I think what has people so fascinated about this case is that Google history that prosecutors say he put in there. I mean, things like how long does it take a body to decompose? How long after a person dies before you can collect an inheritance, you know, even how to dispose of a body. I mean, it's awful. And to think that maybe using his son's iPad, these searches wouldn't have been discovered. It's interesting because I was sitting there in the courtroom when he was arraigned. And I was looking at his looking at his face, looking at his emotions and there were no emotions, as the assistant district attorney read off every single piece of evidence every detail that they had, which led to these murder charges, he was stoic. ABC Stephanie Ramos, thanks, Stephanie. Appreciate your reporting. No problem. Thanks for having me. And now on to those Google searches that prosecutors say they are investigating. Former FBI agent, Brad Garrett, now an ABC News contributor, says, believe it or not, people do that all the time. Well, a reminds me that typically when husbands kill their wives, they do it in a very poor fashion because many times if they have a criminal history, it's probably not in the violence arena or if it is, it doesn't involve killing it previous spouse. Occasionally that happens. But the point being, he like left a road map, it appears based on what the prosecutor and documents are saying, some that were just Stephanie just mentioned. Things like that are just goes on and on that you could be so arrogant to think that nobody's going to check your social media hits or Internet searches prior to because that's actually not uncommon for would be domestic killers to do those type of Internet searches. So Brad, what about the fact that there is no body? Well, I have a guy that killed his wife that's now doing life without parole. And we never found her. I searched every body of water within 20 miles of D.C.. And never found her, but there was enough strong circumstantial evidence that a jury convicted him in federal court. So there was that sort of approach that that's not the end of the world. If you don't have a body, the key is going to be that what did they find at this trash, I guess, transfer station or transition station. They stated they found a hacksaw blade. Does it have her blood on it? In the proximity of that, did they find anything else? Were they able to track the trash that was potentially moved from the time that he was there? This is cell phone taken to that location. Apparently, his cell phone and or his vehicle took him to home. Tipa, where he bought over $400 just cleaning supplies. All of those things, yes or circumstantial individually, but when you build them and you lay them out, it's really a compelling case that and that's the reason they charged him. Brian Walsh

Republican candidate for governor Kelly schulz, who's been endorsed by governor Larry Hogan, said Hogan's push to drop the language that restricts who can get aware and carry gun permit in Maryland is the right call, but democratic candidates for governor blasted the move, Wes Moore called it reckless, comptroller Peter Franco said it takes Maryland backwards on gun safety, and Doug gansler, the former attorney general for Maryland, criticized the governor for removing the good and reasonable standard without suggesting an alternative measure. The Maryland primary is July 19th, early voting starts Thursday. Cake Ryan, WTO P news. I'm honestly surprised he didn't do it sooner. Cassandra kofa, the deputy director of the Johns Hopkins center for gun violence prevention and policy, said governor Hogan's new directive makes it so Marilyn lines up with the newest Supreme Court decision on the matter. Applicants for a concealed carry license no longer have to justify why they should get a license. Hogan's directive tells state police to stop the use of the good and substantial reason standard when looking at wear and carry permits. Kyphosis says they still have to pass training and mental health and background screenings, but it does make it easier for people to get that concealed carry license. From the Cold Front, which went through last night. With the severe weather there. You could argue a secondary Cold front is moving through the northwest suburbs right now and that that touched off the widely scattered showers that we're moving through Loudon County Over the course of the past hour.
