When Simone Biles Pulled out, Jordan Chiles Stepped In

"Native steps up as the goat in her sport steps out the face of the summer Games. Most popular sport made a stunning decision to drop out of the women's gymnastics team final. Simone Biles had one disappointing appearance on the vault and then told reporters it was not an injury. It's been really stressful this Olympic games. I think just as a whole not having an audience. There are a lot of different variables going into it. It's been a long week. It's been a long Olympic process. It's been a long Year Without Biles. Russia's Olympic Committee took the gold medal. But the United States still earned silver thanks to the efforts of Simone's good friend and training partner, Jordan Child's 20 Years of age from Vancouver, Washington training in Spring, Texas along with some miles these days, And boy can she explode off of the table very similar to Simone, Watch how high she flies right here all big Jordan. Childs had been slated to compete in only two events in the team finals, vault and floor but added balance beam and uneven bars to help her country. She was born into wall It's in Oregon named Jordan after the great basketball player and her boundless energy, a perfect match for gymnastics, overcoming painful injuries to pursue greatness. I had a cramp. In the back of my leg for a long time. I try to push through it, but it's getting hard. Jordan moved to gymnastics programs in Vancouver, Washington, capturing her first US junior title at age 13. She also met her gymnastics hero, Simone Biles came out of the elevator and I saw her and I like I never thought I would run as fast as I did to somebody that I did not know to hit it off in. Simone urged her new friend to move to Texas for pro training. She did so after high school and found joy in performing for the person who matters most. Once I realized that idea to stop doing it for other people and start getting it for myself, that's when I was like, just be free. Have fun with Jordan. Child's did not qualify for individual event finals this week, but her first trip to the Olympics memorable for so many reasons. I'm

New Hampshire Legislator Calls to Rally Others to Run for Office

"And one of the things I did is Had enormous number of books as you can tell, and I went through them, and I tried to pick what I considered the most, uh Iconic and most powerful for them. On the left. And then, uh, take the sections that I thought were most important and then sort of narrow those down and then explain them. And then in the end of each chapter tied together, And then, of course, the end of the book say We got a rally Now. Do you see things changing at all? You know you're a state rep in New Hampshire. I don't think people are very happy with what's going on in this country. Do you? No, they're not. I see that people are absolutely rallying, usually after an election things quiet down, but we've had people getting involved staying involved going to town Council meetings. School board meetings. We had the Wyndham audits for those ballots that had been miscounted because of those folds and we see people that are involved every day here and we have some more opportunities for people to get involved. We actually have two special. We've already had two special elections where 400 person health. We have two more special elections scheduled and we might have another four. So there's opportunities for people to run and get involved and be involved both at the state level as well as next spring for their town cities or school board, So it's a really exciting time because there's so much momentum carrying over So many people that are still so involved, and I'm hoping that we can really keep moving this forward. The Problem Is Unvaccinated, Infected Illegal Aliens Coming to the U.S.

"It's like this coronavirus. They want you to believe it's trump supporters who won't be vaccinated. Maybe it is. Maybe it's not But look at the statistics. Recent immigrants in this country. From developing nations of the third world. Very, very hesitant to be vaccinated. For a lot of reasons. For a lot of reasons. Maybe because they listen to Biden and Kamala Harris early on. But here's what I know as a matter of fact. As I've been pointing out now, day after day after day. Here's what I know as a matter of fact. We have no idea how many illegal aliens Have been vaccinated. They haven't even been tested. They haven't even been tested. They're being moved all around the country without Without even contacting local and state governments to let people know about it so into the shadows, as the left likes to say, or the The open borders group likes to say into the shadows. They go never to be found again. So you're not going to be able to test them? You're not going to be able to suggest they get vaccinated. You don't even know who they are. You don't even know where they are. So tonight. They're telling us if you've been vaccinated you to wear a mask inside. The problem is not the people who have been vaccinated. The problem is not the gun owners who are law abiding. So, as I said the other day. And as I wrote in liberty and tyranny years ago, illegal aliens get a health past. They get a health pass. While we prepare for more lockdowns.

What is Body Image?

What is Body Image?

"Talk about body image. Which is a huge topic. And you're dealing with it every day with patients and their families. What exactly do we mean when we say body image i think the first thing want to say in response is that body image is something that we did not talk about or at least i didn't with my patients for a long time. Body image is how we feel about our body getting comfortable with our bodies and it's also learning and understanding that it's okay to be uncomfortable in our bodies at times bodies need respect so that's one of the main things that we want to be aware of and learn in terms of of body image. Another thing that. I like to talk about when i'm asked the question that you just asked me. What is body. Image is body image changes. Now i met you a long time ago. And i would say that my body has definitely changed between now and then because i'm older and bodies change as we age bodies change depending on the tape of movement and by movement. I'm referencing exercise. But i'm using the word movement very carefully purposely. I guess so learning and being accepting of power bodies change but yet always trying to be respectful. That's part of the definition. And of course so much of this is based on the image that the media sort of portrays constantly on social media and in broadcast media in newspapers and magazines. This is what you're supposed to look like at this age right. That's a big big factor. In all this. I would imagine. I sat with one of my patients. I would say now about five or six years ago. They were a female in a local college. And we were talking about taking pictures on social media because a lot of people don't like pictures of themselves. They actually hate them

I actually in on my way to new york here for the draft so We're we're getting closer all right. Yeah no kidding. Perfect timing so we got you in route just in the next couple of days. I mean obviously every year is different. But how how much you think things will change in the first round between now and the actual draft. Yeah i think that teams for the most part you know. I've kind of their big boards set to some degree. But you know the biggest thing. I think that can change things as traits honestly And you know that's where from a betting perspective you know you're you're locked in on you know your your lock the draft or whatever it is your can't miss batman some team moves into the top ten and you know That kind of throws everything a for loop. So that's that's the only thing. I think That can really change things but you know other than that. I have a pretty good sense that you know the way we see things in the top ten or so Feels solid but again. It's it's always fluid. We've got more than forty eight hours to go here. Great so let's talk about just the first pick because you know the the betting odds are we saw a trevor lawrence at the jets. Pretty pretty extreme. But you know the pistons is whether it be doing their due diligence or whatnot. They've tried out a bunch of guys. How solid we with cunningham because there are reports of trade at least interest from other teams now not necessarily detroit but teams wanting to go up. Yeah i think pretty solid you know. I i think vegas has this one right You know i think cunningham will ultimately be the guy and you know even if it is like you know. Say detroit in this. I better say detroit. Is you know more interested in having moberly or jalen green and they wanna swap with houston houston to cunningham at number one i think ultimately cunningham is gonna go number one regardless. I feel like ninety nine percent. Pretty confident about that I think the league feels the same way but you know detroit doing their due diligence. I don't think it's more than that. I mentioned that because I didn't say that a couple of weeks ago, and again, people at Twitter going, hey, what you know, longer think Canadians are better tasting. I do I haven't changed that opinion. You have less fat flavor, although I will say Canada is a little less, tastier that the property brothers have moved to the United States, merely making the point it is Memorial Day weekend. And this is a time when as I always maintain we should take at least one moment to reflect upon.

"Of what kind of a company is it is it a media company how did these questions resonate for you at a tech writer out it was addressed on both days of the hearing mark zuckerberg was asked who's your biggest competition and he really didn't have a good answer to that question and i think when you look at the landscape of different services that do what facebook does there's really nobody that comes close and so i think that kind of puts a target on facebook's back in terms of regulation and and certainly much more scrutiny than has been applied now and i think the the reason that this media question comes into play in the same kind of conversation is that media companies are regulated differently than tech companies right there's more responsibility if you're a media company to control what shows up on your service and and also you know you could be penalized for what shows up on your service so i think that is why facebook has always been very kind of weary of identifying itself as a media company even though i lot of other people would certainly put them in that bucket but i think ultimately what ties together is more regulation government will there be more regulations put in place did we hear anything about what that might look like for instance a lot of people talked about transparency facebook's already saying we're gonna have ways where you can know you know where your information is going on apps and things but did we hear over those hearings what that regulation might look like so i'm not convinced that there's any one central belief among all of the politicians that that something will get done i think there's a lot of their almost might be too many ideas because i'm not sure you can pass all of them but the one kind of that continue to stick out to me was the notion of opting into share your data versus opting out so the way most companies collect data now is what's called.
