"He's got some fantastic stuff and it's not just brewing. He's got Red Sox stuff Celtic stuff. Patriot stuff is just a bunch of stuff in his collection that he has personally hand signed by Boston, athletes and in cells involved. Great prices too. So he's what he's our go-to for our patreon prizes. When it comes down to hand, signed jerseys that we give away every month. So get on board off. We'll talk about it later where you can go to our patreon URL, click on it, donate $1, get involved, help us out and we'll help you out by getting your fan cave. Dressed up with a black and gold. But speaking of the black and gold, more, more more, or less, the the Boston Pride cuz we are Boston, people, and so on. But how they want to talk about the, the upcoming festivities that are off detailed around, the nwhl in particular, the Boston Brad. Well, I just wanted to say that. I know that you, you know, there are a lot of people out there who also support the nwhl like we do. But coming up on Tuesday, the 29th E & W. NHL for 2021 draft will be live on Twitch for the first time. They're going to do it. All five rounds is 30 pics, five rounds. We expect we watch the league expand to six teams last year. Hopefully, more teams to come. They've made a lot of strides with getting sponsorships and affiliation log. Big companies really reason a lot of noise for themselves. So let's see who's coming in the prospects that are coming into the league, to see as this greatly continues to grow prosperous. Everybody go out there. And please watch the draft if you will. And let's see who are Boston. Pride bring into the fold of our already awesome team. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, which is a great wage platform for these ladies and the league. So it's, it's a, it's a league that traditionally doesn't make a ton of money. These women, they work, regular jobs and they, you know, take vacations participate in in, in these team events..

"I dare, I say a relief of not trying to carry a whole line on his own. Now, having two gentlemen to help them be able to do it, you know. But yeah, I think we would be fools to not figure it out. That being said, I'm not cutting, you know. The arms off here. I'm not paying you ten million dollars or anything crazy but right let's see if you serious, you know. See if he wants to be here, maybe him and his girl really like the area and they like to start off you know, beginning of their life until he finishes hockey. You know, in this area. They like it. I don't know, maybe she's from this area and she's like oh you know, he should play for the Boston Bruins, be awesome. Just getting off but now I really congratulations to them and I really hope will be saying congratulations. We have Taylor holiday cap-friendly couple years feel when we kind of cool if they we got married right around the same time as like Stanley Cup day? Yeah. That'd be great. Oh my God. Imagine. Yeah. Who's the best men will be? Yeah. So that I don't know. I just makes me happy thinking about having two lines and if they don't re-sign him, I really enjoyed having to full lines for like, eight weeks. That was six weeks. That was awesome. How the journey playoff significant great to see four lines working together? I mean, the four teams that are coming down to the end of the end of the, you know, the the season, the, the hockey year have just proven that for life is so effective. And that's what we need. And, you know, we talked about the bottom 6 or earlier this bottom six needs to be reconstructed because we have some pieces. We need more of them. We used to be the example of what to do with your bottom two lines and not even followed our own philosophy or whatever. Yeah. But hopefully, yeah. Yeah, absolutely agree. I'd rather have 4 lines. But at Leeds, Two lines. That's how desperate I am to have anybody but the top line putting points on the board. So there you go. All right, so there's been no school for parts special behind the bees. I'm sure if you're a Bruins fan you wouldn't be listening to us as production. So, anyways, Behind the B is really awesome. They do it every season for like the last, what seven you Seasons or something like that. But they're doing a very special for parts Stanley Cup one. They didn't have the show. The commercial said, something like that. They didn't have behind the bees in 2011, but they still had cameras, you know what I mean? So, it's been fun. Watching them just generally, I forgot like, I love Mark. Mark, and can I just say that? I know you're not..

"So I think this would be great and just by the way, Mark's been talking a name And the the pump up news that the main Mariners of have been putting out with the announcement and just not, I think it's going to happen. If it doesn't I'll take a double minus but I strongly feel it will happen. A lot of people say that why is it Manchester being considered? I looked into this a little while ago, with some research and and I made some phone calls to some people in the match Vegas area. And they were saying that there was some kind of agreement that they couldn't be hockey in Manchester until June 22-23. So, the word is hockey, at some level either. It's a gel or east coast League will be back in the Queen City. June twenty twenty-two. Twenty-three campaign. Well, I think this would be good just to have the prospects closer and as necessary, you know, whatever. So you have a goaltending thing, you know? Cuz like you said, you can't ignore. If you pull people up from Province, we need people to play on Providence, you know, you need to replace the line, but know, Portland's, a great City and means a hockey. Hotbed. I mean, New England. They we love hockey around here, so that could be possible. I mean, I don't know, or sometimes things get rubbing and you like, you know, get to go, but I think it probably would generate more interest if it is faustin. Associated also good for the team to have every kind of you have so many prospects on and, you know, playing in the Boston area and the New England area teams for college. You have so many, you know. So I think it would be really good thing. Another thing is the travel, a lot of people think that the organizations and these affiliations I have money for travel. And so on, that is not so true, the East Coast Hockey League, much like the dog. How can I help you operate on a three-day schedule, Friday, Saturdays and Sunday afternoon? And then you have Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of it is a practice time and so on, but a lot of the times that was used for opportunities for players, who drive the distance from Atlanta from Jacksonville Florida to Providence. So now we're decreasing, that Driveline. I mean, unless unless the the prospect is needed immediately, I'm sure something will be worked out, but more or less. These guys drive themselves. So, going from Portland Maine to Providence is about four hours, so it's not like a whole day travel, you know. So I think this being closer, I'm not sure how many prospects are going to be on this team. If it does happen to be in affiliation of the Boston Bruins generally, you see two or three of them floating down from Providence and so on. But I'm getting word and it's not official or Thursday Feel like that but I'm getting worried that this could be an opportunity for more prospects to get involved in the east coast league and the CBA might be constructed differently in a future where they allow more Pro contracts to to be. So we're at 5050 right now. I believe we're 53, whatever, I think it's fifty..

"I I I really want to see this guy back because I think he has more to give to Boston in a full full season while living here. You know. And I I I think they'll get it done but I think this is an important piece that we need to keep Well, I love Taylor Hall and again, I would have had him here for the last decade already playing with crazy, but nobody wants to listen to Inga. Okay, I already said, I think he should get two years at six 5, because as much as I love him, he does not stay put very long and I understand that's partly cuz he's a superstar trying to search for the right place to be and I agree with you. I think he found it 3 years at 6 is great as Taylor Hall is like. I can't trust you to not want to get moved or whatever, like whatever that thing is, maybe he's done. And he just wants to settle for the rest of his career off, but I'm not giving him more than three years at 6.5. It sucks saying that because we very rarely get like a blockbuster Superstar here to go with our home groans from the outside. But I think that he likes it here and I think this I think halt liking it here also leads a path to krejci, maybe at least another year extension. 260 stick around, you know what I mean? As I said, Hmmm Bergeron. Maybe finish the ride together a little bit and Taylor Hall is not, he's had some injuries, but he's not really injury-prone. So that's one. Good thing about playing signing a player this old. Like you don't want to give him six years at six 5 like it. Wasn't that part of the I am against Torey Krug like his age but what he does like yes, he should get paid that much but for that long of a term, it seems ridiculous for any player at that age and your thirties around 9:30. But I don't know, I would love to have Taylor Hall, I think time makes very reasonable argument. Why it should be between those range and we'll see what happens but I think it would be ridiculous. And the second line has been getting shut down, shut down. I agree that maybe Summit alcohols was just whatever. We've had a long season with or without Taylor Hall of having a hard matchup against the Islanders. It was, I mean, that was pretty much what we thought it was going to be the last few games fell apart harder than we probably imagined. But I do think though, Craig Smith getting hurt, didn't help the second line cuz crazy had a little bit off. That's on the power play and stuff still like, you know, getting in and it wasn't that they weren't trying to get something done it, just they that's a good line. And we I feel like it we would be silly to not keep that line together, whether Taylor Hall for a few years and Christian extra year or whatever else, but to already have to really good lines that I'm not. They had a good first series so long, and they didn't have horror games where you just like, oh my god, what the hell is Craig Smith in the Hall & Grace? You doing right? So I don't know, but I liked, I understand, I think he's pretty reasonable even though people, you know, get all that stuff. And it's all like that's something that they don't agree with, but I don't think more than three years. All right, so listen, what if they came to a five-year agreement with Taylor Hall extension agreement? Whatever would know trade protection. Would you be on board with that? So if he's not performing and he still holds some value, that burns can move on and that way tied into a into those three or five years. If that's the case, I would lean more toward like, I would want to give Taylor Hall more towards the 6-5 like the maximum, the closest you can get,.

Will the Boston Bruins Ever Fix Their Power Play?

"Those practices that burns will have, I imagine a large portion, it's going to be devoted to fixing that power play, just because it's been stuck in a rough way for a long time, I think since April 8th, the Bruins have six total power-play goals and four of them have come from Craig Smith. And and another one is kind of stupid crazy. I mean, you can make the case. You like just from the I test that the second unit has looked a lot better than the first for a long, long time now. So they have to do something to to get that first pulp a unit rolling. Whether it's worth switching a Personnel or Bruce Cassidy is always identified troubles with entries as being a thing that's really going to hurt that top power-play unit over the last month. So I think they've got to really kind of fix that and not make it be you know I don't think you want you expect you to jump from where it is right now to all Cynthia not top three unit again right. I don't think you're going to have that whether it's just like it's not the cards at guys on exit game. I'm gonna Torey Krug. Yeah, yeah, exactly. I don't think either you're going into it. Expecting them to cash in on, you know, thirty percent of their chances, but you're still need more than the output. You're getting off. Because I think you know, right now the Bruins is, the deadline are outscoring teams at even-strength 37 to 15, which is crazy. It's crazy that there there's going this many of the 2011 Bruins now, where it's like, wow, they're, you know, they're dissecting teams on even strain for them to hopefully, kills, all the momentum. Pretty much been the case for a month now. So if you even get that power-play back to, you know, 20% over this this long stretch, it goes a whole a long way. Especially in the playoffs, in terms of Just Landing more punches against the opponent's. So I think in terms of x's and o's power plays probably stands out the most to me. Yeah.

"It three to that's your final 32 Bruins all the moments of the game brought to you by first jewelers. moments in your life go forth to Firth. We'll get our scoreboard check in a moment. But let's bring in Paul Hamilton, now with His thoughts here. Paul. It was there for the taking, and of really bad third period ruined it for him. Yeah, well, the Bruins were ahead for Three minutes and 50 seconds in that game. And that's it. They took the lead for the first time at the 16 10 mark. I hated the goal. I hated the place started with middle statues kind of waving it. It's Smith in the neutral zone is he went by very poor effort there. And I, you know you go into the zone Reaching and preachy Richie and creature outwork everybody. And the sabers air around. You heard Kyle Pole, So say you got five guys, basically where they're supposed to be. But by that time everybody staring at the park. Well, what What if I always talked about for how many years now Awareness And nobody has any clue that Smith jumped in there. So whether you call it bad luck, Bad bounces. Whatever you want to call it. I call it creature working hard in the crease, giving the puck out to Smith. There He is, by himself and everybody. Everybody park watching. And You know that That stuff wasn't happening in the 1st. 40 minutes. I mean, what did we talk about? At the end of the second intermission that You know you got it can't go into the third period and have the hope that Lena saw Mark's going to stand on his head. And get to the game He almost did. I mean, he faced 15 shots in the third period he gave up to go or you know that the two goals But still made 13 say's while the other kids stands at the other end, what does he have to do? He stands there and makes three saves.

Washington Capitals' Tom Wilson suspended seven games by NHL for hit on Boston Bruins' Brandon Carlo

"Elliot seven game suspension for tom wilson. I don't wanna go over. They can prejudice a jury here. I don't want to go over the usual arguments here about did he. Didn't he intention all that kind of stuff. That always gets itself played out hysterically on twitter and we saw that fire tonight and over the weekend and no these conversations going to happen. But what are some of the questions that you had going into the tom wilson hearing and are you surprised that he had one in the first place and does any part of a seven game suspension. Surprise you you know. I think the most interesting thing i've found is that you know there are a lot of people who believed that. He only got suspended. Because he's tom wilson And that if it was just about any other player in the nhl who delivered that hit. We wouldn't be talking about anything here. And i think the capitals believe that. I mean you heard peter laviolette save. I saw the the hit. I mean his feet round the ice. He stayed down with everything. Looks like a hard hit in the corner of not not exactly sure what happened but to me. It looked like just a hit. You heard ovechkin call it a joke And one of the things we talked about on. Fridays podcast was. How frederick drove the capitals crazy on the wednesday night game the night to game two nights earlier when he was all over ovechkin than ovechkin spirit him and you were the one who asked okay. How was he allowed to do this. And then two days later they play again and on the shift with carlo. Wilson tries to engage frederick a couple of times. And frederick's noah got a constant winning a game here and he runs over carlo you know. Maybe he was frustrated. I don't know i i. I don't know how wilson would explain it but you know. Saturday is a day. I make a of my phone calls and i asked around legalized and people are just generic conversation. It came up. What do you think about wilson how bad you think he's gonna get it and i did have a lot of people say to me if this was anyone other than number forty three on the capital's nobody would even be talking about this. Nobody would be if it was a hit that anyone else delivered. It wouldn't be a penalty or suspension. A lot of people felt them. But that's what happens when you have the history right. All of a sudden people look at you differently. You don't get the benefit of the doubt name Four hundred other players in the league if they throw that hit they get nothing but because of his history. That's what happened in this case. Like i really believe probably looked at elliot. Moore's while that was a tough hit with a bad outcome. But because his tom. But but i think generally predisposed to assume the worst when it comes to tom wilson but that's a reputation that earned so on friday night. He throws the hit because there was head contact. The first thing everybody looks at is rule forty eight yep illegal check to the head and is the head the main point of contact and the answer there is no this is my guess. My guess is that the people in the nhl department of players safety said this is not a rule forty eight and then when they started thinking about it they looked at it and they're like we don't like this. Is there anything else it is and if you read rule forty one which is boarding. You know it's there you can make that argument. And i think that's exactly what happened. Is they made that argument. And they said that's boarding. Now it's new president's you know that's not the way boarding tends to get called boarding tends to get called when a guy has hit from behind and carl wasn't hit from behind i think that's one of the things that the capitals and possibly the players association discussed wise. You guys don't call boarding like this and at the end of the day that's why it wasn't also like thirty or forty games because boarding doesn't carry those kinds of suspensions historically the highest boarding penalty i could find. I suspension was zac. Rinaldo in two thousand fifteen. It was eight games. Right and wilson gets seven. So i think that's why he got less. You know the other thing. Is you know the capitals argued. It was a clean hit like some other people had said to me and the league just felt the totality of it all was illegal.

Washington Capitals' Tom Wilson Receives 7 Game Suspension After Hitting Boston Bruins' Brandon Carlo

"Tom wilson's added again. The washington capitals rugged. Ford i was gonna call him tough guy but that was very tough thing. He did there recently against the boston. Bruins tom wilson has now been suspended for seven games for a hit against the boards on boston's brandon carlo. And it was well ugly in every way hit can be ugly. It was basically carlo up against the boards. Got the pocket and his skates. And wilson comes up and pretty much collides with the side of the guy's head and he left the game due to injury and It was just and it's not one of those deals where he can sort of. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Tom wilson continually runs into trouble with the nhl law and I mean these seven game. Suspensions four-game game suspensions the they just don't seem to be getting through to this guy. Now what did you think of him. There's no doubt in my mind that that he's lining up the guy's head okay whether shoulder right. That's the big hit right. That's the big hit when you when you leave the ice. Hers people incorrectly. See all the time. He left his feet. You know when he when he's leaving the isis the guys up against the boards. I think he's not even looking at him. Got his head down and this guy sort of lays into them with a shoulder to connect with his head. Okay so that's that's a terrible brutal disgusting dirty hidden hockey. Triple that stevie. When you're looking at the guys had up against the glass and you're gonna go smashing. You know like the guy the guys up the guys up against the boards and there's his his face might even be against the glass when he does it steve. It's just freaking heinous man idea. I thought i. That's what i thought when i looked out said that's like punching a guy down steve that's like punching a guy when his heads on the ice and you know as heads on the ice right. They don't do it right. You seldom see that right. The guy will pull up. What was the example. Last week was a beautiful example. The guy waving the linesmen and because he was going to use going to murder the kitty was fighting right. Yeah but this guy. I think he. He saw it from a mile away in terms of hockey speed. You know like you have a good two seconds there and tried to smash his head like a pumpkin into the glass. That's what i that's what i saw. Elsie the same. I mean and it's and it's this guy it's one of those deals where maybe i'm throwing around benefit of doubt of. It's somebody who's never done something like this before because it is a fast game and guys move the last second but there's nothing i can find here where i i can even begin to go down that road. A it's is tom wilson. You know if there's been a murder and there's a serial killer hanging around the scene of the crime. I'm gonna probably look his way and not given benefit of the doubt It's tom wilson and brandon. Carlo is totally stationary up against the boards. There was one today it was. Let's see. I think it was chicago in saint. Louis i wanna say and There was a big hit Behind the net and I mean it was one where he could look at and say okay. Well that's second go either way but this one was just. This is a guy. Carlos stationary against the boards. He didn't change direction. Didn't spin at the last second. He's totally still. And this guy had really his choice of where he wanted to hit him and He clearly chose get the the good. Maybe do the most damage knock this guy goofy. Get the puck and off. I go and intimidating. That's tom wilson's game. And so it's that's that's the frustrating part of it but more than that though it's hard for me to get to work out a budget anymore. Because the nhl at large doesn't seem to care that much y'all through a seven game suspension. Well this guy's been suspended repeatedly in the league and It doesn't seem to change anything for him and they don't ever seem to want to do something more fierce with this

Washington DC’s Tom Wilson Not Penalized For Hit On Boston Bruins’ Brandon Carlo

"Almost literally took a 51 beating in Boston and in their four game win streak and pretty miserable fashion. It was a physical game, one that included a controversial Tom Wilson hits on Brandon Carlo that was not penalized. That sent Carlo to the hospital. The Bruins then had a three goal second period after that place, so coach Peter Laviolette, it's fair to ask. Did you guys get sidetracked by all the physical play? We knew it was gonna be physical. You know, you hear what's coming out of their locker room. You knew it was gonna be a more competitive game. The first game was physical. And so I don't know if we got sidetracked. I don't know if we were surprised that it was a physical game. I think where we got it all done tonight is that we're from a defensive standpoint, There's too many quality chances. There was too many backdoor tap ins. Backdoor plays where we could have done something better defensively, and our goaltenders really had no chance. While she turns lone bright spot came on its lone goal. Nicolas Backstrom registered career assist number 700 on his setup for Jacob Brana that makes back in the 54th player in NHL history to reach that milestone, but comes in a pretty bad loss there in Boston

"Will play the second of a back to back tonight They'll be in New York again taking on the Rangers at seven o'clock. And after allowing five goals in the third period last night on route to a 7 to 2 lost to the Islanders head coach Bruce Cassidy said today. It will be good to put that game behind them quickly. We had a lousy 20 minutes last night, otherwise going into the third period that we're right there. Maybe even the better team through 40 minutes. So the end of the day gotta flush that learned from it. Like I said, I think the other part is guys want to get back on it. They don't like toe. Let a period like that linger for very long. Could a Jack Eichel Trade Land Him With the Boston Bruins?

"You want to make a safe bet how about you bet every year around this point of the Season where Jack eichel is unhappy with the situation in Buffalo there every year. It's the annual Jack. Eichel is sick of Buffalo story, but probably won't actually get traded. Maybe this is finally the years but Buffalo continues to lose which I don't know why this is a surprise to him at least like just cuz my God what Taylor home exactly like to be I don't know maybe I guess when you're in that moment, you know when you're on that team you think wow, we just got so much better. But in reality you just got a better scoring Winger on one line. Like it's this isn't the NBA where like you acquire a player of Taylor Hall is Cal log. The NBA and it's like why we are a much better team in hockey. It is four lines and you obviously one score is not going to transform whole team. So Jack eichel is reportedly not super pleased with the losing an awful. Oh, I don't blame him that miss that situation looks miserable. So every time this happens the Jack eichel to the Boston Bruins rumors always like to get straightened up baby back wheels turning on that and I I am so here so here for the even though this like will never happen. There's a less than 2% chance. I'll give it a little chance. But but less than 2% chance this ever could actually happen equal to the Bruins, but you you astutely tweeted out Wednesday morning. Give me your best trade package for Jack eichel Chicago which prompted people to give off their best trade packages. Ron Jackson office a lot of compelling offers. I mean hitmon law, this is my favorite go figure Boston gets or Buffalo gets the Evan marinoff skier F boss gets Jacqueline Connor McDavid, and I said, I think the Prof gets more than just McDavid Michael. I think you might get puter off in there too. Well, here's the thing too. I mean Buffalo is in such disorder and disarray that you need not stabilizing presence there someone that's going to bring Authority and stop the shenanigans. So who better than that having that or not graph to correct? What's been going wrong in Buffalo for decades now, you gotta lay down long. That's what he's going to do. Right right down right now. It's a it's a character thing more than talent and that's the team needs so I continually yeah exactly they need a leader. But so that was a great one quart low lands a little does. He know that Evan and Connor are package deal. So that's a no deal in my books. That's fair. That's that's that's a good point. That's always going to send me the Buffalo wage. Thanks, Buffalo Winnipeg or Edmonton. I'm out on

"Something for the black and gold hockey podcast send it to Matt and myself. So first verse is a great job and he does Private signings. He's got one coming up with Terry O'Reilly, So check it out. I'm sure he's going to talk about that in the future videos. But yeah, check it out. So let's get back to the agenda. Absolutely. So upcoming Thursday. I'm sorry before we get into this week's games. I do have to apologize to one Nick Ritchie because last week I went on and on about how I thought he I think I used the term suck ass. And he was not providing what they wanted or needed and they needed to cut bait from him and so forth and Bruce Cassidy actually had some really interesting comments a couple games ago about Richie, you know, just not being able to find his footing because he was acquired by the team and then Cove it's truck and went to the bubble and he just didn't really find his bearings off with the team and and his confidence was a little shaken and just trying to adapt to his new team and the pressures that play in Boston and a cup Contender and Castle was a little bit of a profit because since then Richie is really in his last couple of games here is really provided offensive presence that you could argue. Did you help break that down, you know, he was going to the net he he had a couple of goals. He had a beautiful pass on the power play. It's getting power play minutes and we had a beautiful pass in a power plate of marsh and who slept off All from across ice, you know, he's getting to the the first goal by Bergeron. He knocked the puck loose getting to the front of the net getting the goalies face and Bergeron knocked it in. That's the type of play they need from him. So I will give a cautious up apology to Nick Ritchie. I want to see a continued but I will say that I apologize for being so harsh. I was passionate and I was just rated and I still want to see this from him going forward and it's this is a temporary apology cuz if it goes back the other way, I'll go right back on Thursday and wagon, but Mark Nix been Nick Rich has been really really good. Yeah, and you know some like I let you go down alone man. I was not on the race. I was I was definitely on the Richie Titanic and you know, and you know, listen, he's been playing good he's got he's rejuvenated his game. He's found a niche in this in this Boston Bruins lineup, and he's gaining trust from Bruce Club. City in coaching staff which is obviously positive. So it's all it's all real good things. But like you said, it's just a this is just a game five. We could see Nick Rich and show up in game 10 and we'll all back on, you know on the this is not a good idea train, but what what he's done so far has been really impressive and I'll eat another shoe bomb, you know, but it's got to continue. It's got to be by committee and what we're seeing right now is just it's really positive moving forward from him power-play minutes. I like holy crap, you know, it's just and and right I saw a tweet earlier today or was it last night that you know, Nick Ritchie should be the 7th player award as of right now, so and that's not a bad little freaking this package mention, you know?.

"Like I said, you spend half your money on your defense for what you know, and that but that's what I'm concerned us out. If we don't start adjusting to the idea we are going to have to spend more money on contracts that we used to be able to bridge that. We're going to be out of the game. There's a reason we can't get in there for some of these big name free agents and like you said risks take a little more because we are so efficient and and anything that disrupts that kind of equilibrium can log Catastrophic on either side that's how we are structured right now. So that's my only concern is more not right now, but the future I think they deserve the a plus now and I'd like them to at least keep in the a range as a shout and stuff, you know, and we say goodbye to these people who created the culture of six million dollars. What do you think about. Sweeney's ability to to be efficient with contracts? I think it's been great. I think it really sets like a standard for the other team in the league to look at. I'll this Boston Bruins team has been structured the commit to win while not taking a huge contract and and and and push the Bruins up against it even though they're always up against it..

I can't really stand any of that stuff. But that that Jersey brought me back to like the early eighties. Remember Tron. Oh, yeah, that movie was Disturbed. Note a big hell no to the Pooh bear that guy looks like he's trying to take a dump in the woods on mushrooms and not like at a hockey game where it should be roughing mean. So am I in my opinion? And I I know you guys are other things are going to get hammered by this. Oh, I'm going to get hammered by this but my alternate jersey is the was it the pinkie Blinder year when they just just wasn't, you know, we played like five of them that game. Yeah. They had that black. It was the black with the Boston Bruins. So the emblem a middle with I think there was a bear but it was subtle and it was yeah. Those are those are the alternates that they wore actually the the rest of that year. I think too on a certain games. I just used to be there were like home and away jerseys and now every team has 14 jerseys and they're starting to get blurred in my old head because I they a lot of them look exactly the same but like now User thicker stripes or I always thought that they should go back to wearing white at home. I used to love when they were white at home. And I don't like when they used the the dong color it at home anymore anymore. Oh, yeah those ones. Yeah, I like those ones. These are my favorite ones. "I just feel like we're at deal with what we have right? Maybe June and halak and moving on to Jeremy swimmin and Danville Adara if that's what were happening. I don't know like, you know, I'm a big like let's bring back to kids see what happens Thursday. I agree. It sucks to see him go because he is someone who has some experience and what you will but I don't know as always I defer to market the goalie situation my life. I you know, I think it's a very big year as far as the goal-tending concerned of what direction the team wants to go in because they have sort of an interesting situation with two to three thousand really good young goalies, and then to Veterans and good young good veterans are up after next year. So they have to decide whether one or two of these young goalies are going to be ready home. And it's a it's a lot to ask. So they're going to have to Bridget I would assume with another veteran. So it's it all depends on their development this year and it brings up an interesting point, you know, go down to our next topic here on the agenda is the Bruins ECHL minor affiliate is actually opted out for twenty Twenty-One. So that leaves no no ECHL, you know a phone number. Be a team for these kids to play with so what does that mean for the prospects and where they could go and in Mark. I know you have some information on some thoughts on this and where they could be loaned to play. All right. So with the the Atlanta Gladiators have been the the the double A minor Pro affiliate for several seasons now last year, they signed a one-year agreement off, but that that ended with the Cove it shutdown of everything else. So they technically don't have an East Coast Hockey League affiliate. I was told by great sources that there was going to be another affiliation agreement with the Bruins in Atlanta, but now Atlanta is as opted out of play due to the reason why they could still going on but the infinite arena in in near near Atlanta thrives on other events that go on it's just off. Hockey so and the state of Georgia has an occupancy limit of 25% So it wouldn't work reading the Articles page of Atlanta. The operating costs would oversee any ticket sales at 25% So it's not good business. So they just shut it down. So but what that does is it puts the Boston Bruins in a very interesting predicament when it comes to the goal-tending like you mentioned so it was my theory that the that the the information that I came from a really Solid Source was the Bruins wanted to get a veteran goaltender the vet and Videl would be in Providence swayman and and Kaiser would be in Atlanta. Now that's gone. Now do the Bruins don't do they do not want to bring in a veteran now and now make it a flood are swimming in tandem in the the South American Hockey League if and when they actually start because I got some information on that too or and then have Kyle Kyser just be out on loan much..

"Do the bridge deal for a year and then let's talk next year and you've got more time to plan and clear cap space because I think that's all we're going to be talking about over. The next two seasons is clearing cap space because I don't see yep. Going up. I don't either I either moving on to another topic quickly before you might be touching off Maria is the bathroom and forward David pastrnak continues his unbelievable year, but more or less its notoriety. He wins the check player of the year for his contributions as a check player around the world and in the NHL tremendous tremendous tremendous player and so happy to have this type of scoring machine on a Boston Bruins club that we've to me seems like has been starved to have the caliber of of him on this on this team. So thoughts on his year and his future months. This this young man is quickly becoming an elite player in the National Hockey League. If he's not already not already there should talk about, you know becoming also the future face of the Boston Bruins franchise here, you know, I think right now for me, you know Bergeron is the face of that truck has but just this young man, he's got the whole package. He's got the whole package going on and it was a little bit heartbreaking have the season end. So abruptly and not be able to watch this kid get to that 50-goal Mark because I think he could have he could have done that easily off and you know potentially exceeded that and the Bruins have been starving for a long time for a guy like this on on the team. You know, we've had those Snippets where we left off. You know Joe Thornton was going to be that guy and Phil Kessel was going to be that guy and Blake wheeler was going to be that guy and for one reason or another it just never seem to pan out here in Boston. And so, you know, it's it's it's refreshing. It's refreshing to see and it's exciting to see and it's awesome for the future of the Boston Bruins organization. Yeah. Awesome. He's just he's so funny. Like I think his personality fits well here. Do you know what I mean? Like we talked about like like you just did a great list. You could add Sagan and many others to that law. I forgot about him. I'm great like skill set. But just some reason I mean even like Joe Thornton right which he was beloved by many of em all but just like something didn't click right but Pastor like walked in it's like he found his right fraternity house or whatever and I think to what makes him kind of we always say like a boss Like it's a Bruins thing and I think for him it's it is his story. "This is going to take a couple of years to build that team. You know what I mean? It doesn't make sense. It would make more sense to take money. But that like you were saying it goes for all the free agents. So, we don't even know when free agency is going to happen. And I think that's part of like as the phases go, you know what I mean? So once we actually open training camp, okay, we might actually get Revenue into this league, you know, things like that before they may decide we know it's not even going to be until probably October, right? Cuz the playoffs are most likely going to be August and most of September you'll have to do the draft at some point, you know, but it is scary and the fact like we have a break down the only thing I'd say about halak especially I mean the coil thing was weird to me at the time of why we needed to re-sign him when he didn't really need to you know what I mean, but but halak I think was more just we do have table. The one more year him in the whole lock our great team, they're comfortable with each other. It's the two mil. Like let's just do it and get that done with so we know that's locked up and we know what we probably if we assume we have 18 minutes of work with that just may not too worried cuz I think all the teams are and all free agents are in the situation like people might just stay on their own teams by default. I was joking with very earlier said, you know what package you just has to stay where they are and you have to pay your players. They're same salary for one more year and we'll reassess this next June, you know, but that just meet like obviously I'm nervous because some of these players need to get signed but I'm trying to get the league running again. Like there are other priorities before free agency. All these guys got their money and their contracts. Let's just get the wrapped up for the season. I know that's just me for me. It's it's it is the priority that you both have touched on those and what Don Sweeney has done in his in short tenure as of Boston Bruins general manager, but if you look at back at last year, you know, they did did..

So that would be would be my pick just as a personal thing and and you know, cuz it a hockey fights cancer of this stuff all that, you know, it's just it's a terrible disease and I just hope he comes back and remains healthy, so that'd be my pic. Let's move on to another topic. Well, let's skip let's skip to well I will cuz want Maria to get involved in this one before she takes off 95 The Sports Hub walk-ins and wrote an article yesterday titled still nothing concrete with these pending free agents. So this is a we do is, is this is a sketchy situation for the entire. Why the jump yeah. I wanted to jump. Yeah, the Boston Bruins technically signage jaroslav halak to a a very cap-friendly 2.25.

"Now, it's your turn to call awaken 180 wage loss and Joint now I also want to let you know that they are the official weight loss program on the Boston Red Sox. And if you want to check them out awaken 180 weight loss.com is where you find it but good things. I hear good things. know people as anybody know anybody who's actually used this cuz it's pretty big in this area. They've got sensors all over the place. I know a few people at work, they brought you here, but you can get it outside of New England to I do do know someone who's had great results. He looks awesome. That's awesome. And I'd like to apologize for awaken 180 weight loss. I took it there near the end but awesome product go check it out. All right, let's dive back into the Boston Bruins topics. This one is a good one cuz it it it's dead. It shows how much hard work a person can go through to get back to what they want do and have done regularly, but the road back to the NHL for Kevin Miller the Bruins defenseman has not been easy. He's had constant setbacks, but last week was nominated for the masterton trophy and wage. What do you thoughts on him? Winning it amongst the other 31 candidates in the league Maria. You know, I I like Kevin Miller. I like him very much. I like his toughness. He's not been known for his offensive abilities or what he brings to the table offensively but you know, you've got to give this guy some kudos for continuing to to fight back and fight through each and every one of these of these injuries that Betty's have, you know, unfortunately we did get the news earlier that it's unlikely that he's going to be able complete his comeback in order to finish finish the season which which is unfortunate for him and unfortunate for the team and his teammates down and looking at the list of other players who have been nominated for the award. You know, it it's very very difficult right to weigh and balance. What time? Guys struggles as opposed to another guy's struggles and I'm not quite sure. You know what the criteria and is for something like that. But I guess I'd have to say it's likely has just as much an opportunity as anybody else does short of potentially, you know, one of these other nominees coming back and making contributions to their team season this that's the words always interesting. You know, I love me the NHL awards because it's given to the player that best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance sportsmanship and dedication to hockey. Yes. It's usually a good comeback story, but it could kind of be just anyone who's done. I think Miller is a really good candidate again, we've discussed that nauseam page, but no one can say that dude is not a fighter and he fights and does not give up, but I agree with Maria's Point. That's what I was think. I think what's going to maybe stop him from being one of the top three or four actual, you know life..

"A lot of teams are going to look like more complete teams. And I think that's going to add to the excitement of it. You know, I'm not worried about us cuz I do think we're still solid. We're just going to be a little healthier and I don't know mean Bergeron's legs look up the other day. Yeah and for me, it's Heather. You just hit the nail on the head with the with the rest and coming off of a Stanley Cup against the st. Louis Blues game. We want to forget about that but it's that time frame from when the season technically ended to when the 1920 season started and how it started for me was was good. Because if you listen to like recent podcast from like the Perfection part from what Billy Jaffe and and Joey MacDonald and flute. Oh all those guys they have in sessions with Bruce Cassidy. I'm really discussing a lot about keeping in shape and tone and ready for a moment's notice. Now. I think that this whole mentality of this rest. And so on is also coming from when they had the original offseason are quote off season before starting the 1920 campaign. I think that the training staff the coaching staff and everybody being on the same page. I think that this could be a very well rested but ready to go Boston Bruins team moving forward, so I'm I'm looking forward to it. I know for a fact Tuukka Rask does really well when he gets his breast and you know, this could only be about a possible to month 2014 playoffs so we could definitely see the best out of him and we know we're not haters. We're not talking haters here, but we know we see somebody like Rask having the rest. We know what the potential moving forward and you know, look we should talk about this as hockey fans. When you have your team that has made a very deep playoff run as the Bruins and the blues. Did you know, what what's the first topic of conversation is generally when the season starts again playoff hangover quote unquote. Well in this instance, right that's a point. There's there should be no playoff hangover an age, you know for me. Maybe I've been was sitting there during the course of the Season waiting for that potential Walt to be hit by the Boston Bruins. Well, there should be no wall now dead. There should be no wall and these 2020 playoffs for the teams that are going to be participating. They should be pretty flippant phenomenal because you're going to have stars all healthy and ready to go. Hello. Good for the golfer one. Awaken 180 add read. I will do my best friends. Let me tell you about a week and 180 when most people.
