"Of entry. Statistic. I didn't know if you're gonna use it. But I studied up on this, do, you know, where those four thousand people come where they're captured airports, not always certainly the State Department says there hasn't been any terrorists coming across. Land and it's spicy. It's all of the above. All of them were only in a focus on a wall. Because a wall is what we promised by air and by sea. What is she Paul revere? Unbelievable. He's you know it. The problem is is that Trump and all his minions are never prepared for any sort of forensic questioning. They just if you know, the Socratic line of questioning is you ask somebody a question. And then when they don't know the answer, you just keep digging to find out how much they don't know. Here's a guy who always knows what he's talking about it again, he is a White House reporter for not only the Montgomery settled papers before playboy, Brian Carrim. And you've been of course. At the other end of of Huckabee Sanders. Mean or missives you have any empathy at all for her. Or do you think? Isn't that the question? I asked her did. She have empathy. I if you did right. Yeah. We're talking about the migrant children. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I have empathy for what she's going through because she's so Dag on in deep over her head, and she has no idea what she's doing. And she does it so poorly, and it's kind of like watching a puppy getting south wound up at least to get out. Yeah. I mean, she's just what I mean. The idea that four thousand people. Like, maybe six years the problems of the border won't be solved with a wall. And it never that will be solved that way, you can't build a nineteen hundred mile wall that wouldn't stop them anyway. And by the way. Billion dollars five billion dollars is a fraction of what the real cost would be. It'd be everybody's saying between twenty and thirty billion dollars. And then of course, you know, putting troops down there or having people again, if you've got to have people on the ground or people climb over the wall. You know? I mean. Yeah, they bust through the wall. They they tunnel under the wall and the dishes, probably drugs, and and bad guys across the country. Were they are putting a law of their at. Right. False walls in them and the border patrol is long said, look, give us more people. So we can expect more trucks. That's not as sexy to the basis. Well, let me just tell people to understand how important it is to have people come over for the day and buy things and leave, you know, in the communities like Chula vista which is down there. It's a small community right at the border of the Santa Cedric crossing to once you go into Mexico. It'll take you thirty seconds ago in Mexico and three hours to get out. And it's because they don't have enough unless you have a special pass us you've been cleared. It's kind of like the pre TSA people at the airport unless you have that you're in that line for I'm not joking and can be three hours to go a mile. Yeah, you're right. And the other thing they don't consider is that do you want to pay eight dollars for you know, one tomato. I mean, the people that they're that they're really trying to keep from coming across contribute to society, far more than the people who actually are. The problem and. They talk about illegal immigration in the willpower. There. We go. Has nothing to do with our order that has to do with people who overstay their visas, and our CEO, then you want all over the country, you know, in different cities, and they overstay their visa, Brian. When you when you talk like other like Boston times reporters or Fox News reporters are they just doing their jobs, and they don't really espouse some of the crazy. Trump's stuff. I'm the only people I've ever seen the do that or on air personalities like on FOX. I've run into a I mean, I'm friends with Michael Graham, or do, you know? John Roberts sober, FOX, straight arrow guy, just reporting just egos outlook, I don't call balls and strikes for Portage. There are a lot of people at all the networks who were simply child. Child and report it's the analysts like me and the anchors and the host of the programs will get in and start, you know, shooting off their mouths with their opinions reporters are just doing their job man, and every them in that press briefing room as had a hard time with this administration and a lot more of them would love to be able to call them out for their lives. But can't because of the job that they hold and how they have to do their job. I have the ability to call them out for that. Because I I do a little different duty in that White House. The simple fact of the matter is most people there are just trying to do their job. And it's really tough when an administration lies to you every time, and it's in Tippett's nearly every time they communicate with us in also cut out the briefings cut out all that other. They put out the not only daily briefings, but background is information communication when they send us out press advances as to what the schedule is going to be for the president is one of two things listed, and they'll supplies you at the last minute with stuff. So it's this administration has been Dino's difficult administration of the thirty years. I've been hanging around well may forces every all of us to be you know, when I do like a FOX hit television head they never tell me what we're gonna talk about. I mean, they they kind of promised one thing. And then I get on. And if something different especially like, if it's Laura Ingraham or something, and so you, but you gotta be ready for that. And that's part of the drill. I get it. But you know, what kinda gets me though, is I. Can I think about this is that April Ryan, your friend? She has she gets death threats. And she has actual protection your guy. You don't. But I know you get death threats. Yeah. How weird is that? I mean, this that's that's on really unusual for any. I mean, I knew a couple of people that did this what you're doing twenty years ago or fifteen years ago, and you know, the the today they they go nobody ever threaten our lives. Right. Think of what hundred Thompson did today he probably injected with cocaine or or masculinity and take care of himself. But yeah. Mean you think of what we do? And how dangerous is become us to do it. It's all part of the bullying technique of this ministrations to try and make sure that their message is the only message hers that there were so the only ones urge and that their interpretation of events only thing saying, let's go back again, we're talking to Brian karema White House reporter for playboy and from Montgomery seminal papers. So let's go back to look again. We look at Huckabee Sanders, and she goes on that show and embarrasses herself. Chris Wallace is tore up, and I I feel bad for because we shouldn't be in that position. She like you said, she's not informed at all. But you know, Sean Spicer's career has not taken off like he hoped, and I don't think it will. Because people still have some animosity towards him. She's going to continue to have that animosity when she leaves. She's not going. I mean, she might find something. I I can't imagine what either one of those two what kind of work they're going gonna find for a conservative think tank or maybe a weekend show on. Fox if FOX continues its numbers, FOX numbers started to dwindle. Where do you see the the your guys job will it change? If if normal person came into office, Republican or democrat will all this be thrown aside, or has there been a some sort of game change. That's not gonna go back. I think part of it won't go back. I think part of it will I think the part of the can't go back and shouldn't go back is us being much more vigilant than holding people accountable to the facts for too long. We've there are many not all, but there are many in the DC press corps who believe that you keep your head down your job. And you you weather the storm and doesn't matter step. That's right. Because we don't want to be the news. I'm not there to be the news. But this guy calls me, the enemy of the people and says it was fake media cheese. Made us the news, and you have to stand up to. Bullied, and I think any of that all of that will happen not change. We're going to have to be vigilant. So this doesn't repeat itself for if we're not then we won't be. We will be complicit in the anarchy of the chaos, and we will not be fulfilling our role of oversight. And I hope to God that the classes are better with its responsibilities. Some congress has been and that we step up to the plate and continue to do. So we're going to have some report I'm going to be in DC doing a show is next Monday. And Tuesday, some looking forward to having you in studio, and and Mark Fisher from the post and some other people and some some of the local congressman, and and, you know, be fun to see everybody and sit right across from and talk about this new congress, and what they really hope to get done. Always good Brian. Thank you, my friend. All right, guys. Thanks a lot. Brian Karen, McGuiness White House pool. Reporter and hard worker guy gets it really does. So real quick calling here before we break and go to Don in Yuba city. Hey, Don, you're on K G O. We didn't get him up. That's my bed high. Go ahead. Don. Don. He's not ready. Don. That was your there was it right there. We'll put them on hold. So anyway, so it is it's a there is there's something about the truth that evades this administration and the people that speak for almost like. You don't marry when used to have those things you would blow for the dandy lions. And if you try to get your hand close with the wind from your hand would push it away memories. He tried to touch it. That's the truth for the Trump administration. Trump says in a crisis at the border yet they have proof their own proof. That says he's wrong. We'll tell you what that is coming up next. Franklin K G O. But.
