"And i just wanted to make the bar as low as possible because my dear dear desire is that people would say. Oh i can do this i i get it i get that it's important but i don't feel qualified. I'm not a chaplain at a training at. I want to say it doesn't matter. I will give you what you need to to do this. I tell people even if you just read it. It's going to be better than nothing. And i am convinced that as people get into it themselves whether you're volunteer or a pastor or chaplain whatever as you get into you make it your own. You know you use the resources but then your own personality will come through. Because you're unique as gods created son or daughter used the resources however it works for you but it will become your own ministry to your own residents right. It's it's god's very good at customizing as we finish up here. I'd love you to pray for our listeners. Please oh thank you. Oh heavenly father who i am so beyond grateful and humbled that you are so active in the lives of people with dementia. And i'm humbled. Because i think for myself and for others again our vision can be too small for what is possible glory. Would you expand our vision of your love for people all people whether they have what we would consider typical cognitive ability. Or not and that you love love love to reach into blasts and to shower your own spirit on all of us. So lord thank you and i pray that anybody listening to that would feel like yeah. That's something i want to do. And could do lord that you would give them the hope and the vision and the excitement of the blessings that they will see as they are. Dear dear elders. Thank you lord. Jesus for your amazing work and we love you and bless you amen thank you thanks for the work you're doing. Oh thank you honor to speak with you lisa. It is such my pleasure. "They're shorter so two or three verses instead of five and they're in a lower key which is easier for older voices to sing. And i called the company and i said. Do you have any plans to to put these on as mp three files people download. Because i just thought. I want i want them to be as accessible as possible and they said no so i said well. I'm gonna do it again. My worship background sorta coming into play. So i- i undertook. This rather massive turned out to be rather massive project. i of course naively was thinking. Oh i'll i'll get this done. You know three or four months. It took about a year. And a half and i did a fundraiser. A gofundme me and my husband. And i also committed money to this because i really wanted these to be him recordings that were dementia specific professionally produced with a lot of different professional musician. I wanted to be able to pay musicians. And i wanted to use a professional recording studio so all those things you know that takes money so overtime i was able to get these done. It's just off. Makes me so happy. Because i now have. I got a little bit ambitious. And they're out eighty six classic hymns and spirituals and twenty christmas classic christmas hymns just all the classics that you would think for christmas all. That's on your website correct. yes yes. that's an incredible resource and that's just touching barely touching the surface of what you offer. I also went on your youtube page. You have so many videos and so many preplanned services for right. It's overwhelming honestly. You've done an incredible job here. The as a as a content creator. That's what happened. I just again. I got pretty ambitious. Just applied all of that writing editing. I love to do. The youtube thing was hilarious because that was the that completely came out of covid. I had no plans to do videos. I didn't know how to make a video. I had no idea. But when covid hit like everyone else i was suddenly prevented from going into these elder care. Communities and i'll always remember eastern was coming up. And i thought i'll be darned if i'm gonna let easter go by without them. Having something so. I just started sat down in front of my computer and fired up quicktime movie and started basically creating the church services that i would do in person as a video and it was very trial and error and but then i realized oh my gosh already have my hands so i quickly created youtube versions of hymns which have so the versions of the only difference is of course they have lyrics so you can sing along and then i sort of got locked into creating one of these videos every week and none of us thought code was gonna last at that time. I'll do this for a couple months. Well the year went by. I now have more than a years worth of these videos..

States Can Forgive Unemployment Overpayments, But Missouri Demands People Pay Up

"Passed in December gave states the power to forgive, overpaid federal unemployment benefits. Most states are taking them up on that. But Missouri is not. Here's Corrin rough from ST Louis Public radio. In the middle of December. Sandra Griffin's on new message pop up and her online unemployment account. You were overpaid by no fault of your own. That's what the letter states by no fault of your own. And you are required to pay it back. The message said she owed the Missouri Department of Labor nearly $8000. That's money. Griffin says she already spent on bills after the Corona virus pandemic hit and she lost her job teaching art programs in ST Louis schools. Normally she counts on summer school to make most of her income. But there was no clear plan for schools to reopen so her employer encouraged her to file for unemployment. Turns out people who work for educational institutions are eligible for unemployment over the summer, when most teachers air off, So they were saying that all the months that I collected over the summer I was ineligible to collect those, although they had reassured me during the summer during phone calls. That everything was fine, so there was a contradiction there and what's going on. Griffin filed an appeal. But since the system is backed up, her hearing isn't for another six months. In the meantime, she doesn't have to pay anything. More than 46,000. Missourians have also gotten letters demanding repayment. The state says it paid out more than $150 million last year to people who would later determined were eligible for the money. Lawmakers from both parties have been calling on Governor Mike Person to forgive the overpayments that don't involve fraud about 97% of cases. But person told reporters earlier this month that a state law requires collection of over payments and he doesn't plan to override it. There was mistake's made. There's no doubt about that. At the end of the day. I think there is a responsibility is taxpayersmoney. If somebody got more money they should have got you should ask for it back and to say, you know you all that to the fact that you don't know what to me, but to the people who paid it. Missouri State representative Lakisha Bosley, Democrat from ST Louis, says persons reasoning doesn't add up. The bulk of the overpaid funds are from new federal programs, and the relief package from December gave states the ability to wave over payments. So Bosley filed a bill earlier this month that would keep the state from collecting overpaid federal benefits for non fraud cases during times of crisis. Like the pandemic, asking people to pay back 1000 21,000 even $200. It's just too far and it's too much and now you're crushing their hopes that things will go back to normal and that they can rely on the government to help in step in when they need it. Alexa Tapia is with the workers rights think tank National Employment Law project. Even states that she says have better systems are struggling to keep up with the influx of first time filers, new federal programs and overpayments like Missouri. Kentucky also has a state law requiring collection of overpaid benefits. Lawmakers in the governor's office are still working out how to grant waivers. But Tabby says most other states like Illinois and Colorado are already starting to forgive overpayments, She says. That's because there's no incentive to go after the money. It actually creates more work for the states to collect that money. And of course, they do have that discretion to do so, But it would harm their local economy is and their citizens so they should be trying to uplift at this time, and she says overpayment bills disproportionately impact people of color. Equity and economic recovery or reasons more states are forgiving overpayments. Tapia worries that states like Missouri will spend more energy fighting appeals thing getting payments out to people who are still waiting on help. For NPR News. I'm Corin rough in ST Louis.

"Just a couple of matches on this thursday southampton beating wolves score of to nothing and chelsea one winners away to barnsley. Tammy the goal in the sixty third minute. Chaka his lobster robson frank. Leboeuf join us for more frank. Start with you very impressive from chelsea. Would you not very impressive. But the most important thing is to go through When you play against so-called lower team or smaller team boss well default how the way they had to the field. Remind me The the way we used to play the ethica many years ago or to kind of two decades ago it was a wasn't pleasant game to watch but for chelsea the main thing is to go through indeed. Because of graham. One neil off you go home and you think about the quarterfinal. That's the only thing we can say. Jaakko what was worse chelsea through the first hour of the match. The pitch pitchers kind of paul for the costs from from bucknell d. That was decent pitch. But not i understand the issues that pitch like that might read And similarly bentley just made it difficult for chelsea. They will predictable i. I didn't see them scoring other on. I kept mystique trust the job done. That's that's the only important thing interesting. raba what did you think the match There are plenty of chances for barnes. The thought shock watches different game. Well a couple of chances but chelsea made it really difficult for themselves. Everybody was talking about bounds. They've done the homework bounds leader. We're going to press her out the field they we're gonna make it difficult. They were going to put their from. Plays and stop josie planet from the back. So what did chelsea duplat from the back on a bubbly bitch kept on giving it away midfield and they made it difficult for themselves. It was crying out. The big diagnosed replayed from the center hav into the white when the wing backs will play chuck took made the right decision to half times. Change the system so they got more space for their full the play bulls forward but bosley will holding such a high lime pressing so high the field. It had to be the case that josie when in behind them and they didn't do that until it was too late but they just about eight dumb bravo. it's four straight wins now for chelsea undertook. Oh can you see some signs of progress. Not today i couldn't but in in the league games they have been a slight improvement. I think he knows what he wants. From these teams play with a back three for those three games. I think he knows exactly what he wants. Midfield he's wingback high up the field as well the area where we sort changed. It is whether it's play with mainstream ensues slot in behind him or two strikes wanting behind but you can see what he's trying to do. I think the players know exactly what he's trying to do. Each system the players today almost eleven of them so it was always going to be difficult. But i can see system coming into play. I think the players understand that system. And i think chelsea will get

"Advice from Robert Young hobbits of advice from Leave it to Beaver. Funny, that's funny. Well, whenever we cook inside, Mom always says that cooking but whenever we cook outside, you always do it. How come Oh, sort of traditional. I guess. You know, they say a woman's place is in the home, and I suppose those long she's in the home, she might still be in the kitchen. That explains about Mom. But how come you always do the outside cooking? Well, I'll tell you, son. Now women do all right when they have all the modern conveniences, But that's men are better at this rugged type of outdoor cooking. It's sort of a throwback to cave man days. Some of those asbestos gloves was no sense in us cavemen burning our hands. Yeah, that wouldn't that wouldn't fly today by any means. Ah, Andy Griffith was Ah, you know, the first of his kind of a single dad on television, And I know there's a documentary that Ron Howard's daughter is doing this weekend. An apple plus TV about About Dad's in general, but I mean, you know Andy Griffith and Ron Howard. He probably had two of the best TV dads, and that was Was Andy Taylor and Howard Cunningham. Yeah. Tom Bosley on happy days, and that's actually wonderful bridge. You have 70 serious about 50 settings. Uh, taking a sixties icon, a cz son. Hair Loss, Stress, and At-Home Treatments to Regrow Your Hair

"If you've been noticing more clumps of hair in the shower that could be a result of stress But we don't want to stress you out more because there are things you can do. Look I lost his little Patrick here. Living proof ride here but there are things that you can do right now at home to help that And one of the first things. We'RE GONNA START TODAY. We've got a wonderful guest She is a Harrisburg and she's actually know working with Bosley which I thought was just for men. But he educator there and What's so great is that she cleared up. A lot of the MISC- The misconceptions I had about Knoxville as everyone knows what Doxa Gul's the only thing that has been approved by the FDA that actually does regret hair and is active with the minoxidil though Is that something you know? Just speaking as a not a hair professional It's something that I've heard about right. Rogaine is another big brand that you hear about and I have a girlfriend who had significant hair loss. And that's what she was using. But it meant hawks ultimate always been a little bit scary right so is that other people should not be using or is it something. That's pretty safe for everyone. So there's a two different percentages on it. There's a two percent and a five percent. Typically the women use the two percents and the men used the five percent so You Wanna be able to Access that lower percentage If you feel necessary and then you can like start in slowly but I do recommend that you use at the same time every day And it's just like he would try to think about taking care of any other Any other area of your body. I mean you won't stop brushing your teeth with a certain kind of toothpaste. If you have great results from that so Ryan I mean but you get what I'm saying like do you think like pregnant woman shouldn't use yet so and doesn't make your hair fall out at first a little bit too? Can't that be an effect or am I totally wrong about this. Maybe I'm totally off. I'm sure one out of one thousand. Maybe it fell out but maybe he or she skipped a day or like you said didn't put it on at the same time at the same Torino at like. If you break your routine with these systems you can have a shed you absolutely can but is this something you think. Everybody should be using then. I'm even if it's like the hair. He knew it. If you're if you're like fresh out of Chemo and you just grew your new hair back now. Right no right right right. If you think you're going to get pregnant or you're infertility. No I mean it's kind of common sense. If you have other health issues you should obviously talk to your physician and throw that against the wall but I think majority of people can give it a whirl and just but if you're if you second guesses talk with your doctor so what is that program. Is it like once you start is it. You have to just keep doing it. Is it like a man which we know a lot of beauty things right like if you want Bo talks? You're going to have to keep doing botox to keep the wrinkles away if you want those eyelash extensions. You're going to need to keep doing them. The second you're not gonNA have those lashes if you want hair extensions so is this another thing that you're going to sort of add to your beauty toolkit but it's like once you start to commit to it. Yes if you're seeing results from it you definitely want to keep doing so Hair has three cycles. Everybody's familiar with you. Know Antigen intelligent and Cata Jen. So when you're in the resting phase During that phase. That's the time that you want to make sure that you're speeding up that process when that new hair growth is starting to come back in and you also want to keep the hair that you have so you're definitely trading from a clinical approach. She knows that hair follicle and you're waking up and speeding up that rusting cycle where that new hair can come back and through so you're seeing results in your getting hair growth. You definitely want to eat using that. So somebody WHO's been bald for thirty years all the back And that her follicle is no longer producing hair. Are you going to get results from Minoxidil? Maybe not so that definitely you WANNA wake up that hair follicle and you WANNA speed up that process for that new hair to come back through. How do you feel about the the caps or the headbands with the red light therapy? Your what's your what's your take on those those are showing a lot of promise and those also There's lots of before and after she now that are online. So it's one of those things it's like you know what works for one person may not necessarily work for all if you know works for the majority and if it works for you definitely keep doing it. You have to be insisted on that you have to use it. You know. Every single day In addition to the other three sixteen approach that you're doing I personally noticed when I combined all three. Wow it was the trio of fact for

"It's framed in a way where you have that backup. I hear again. My inclination is to not do to it at all and the last two. That's and that's the other thing that's a big problem. Especially for young people coming up going into careers you have to have a social media presence out there otherwise. Yates going to work yet against you as well at a future employer is going to say what are they not with the world. Do they are exactly what's going on? So yeah it's kind of a double edge sword. Now you're you're less than just stay away from and I noticed this happening. A lot is the calling out in the shaming. Do you WanNa talk a little bit about the. Yeah you know unless someone is committing. A crime are hurting someone or an animal if you're calling out or shaming anyone online you are bullying in even if you're calling out a bully you're bullying and it's GonNa come back around you know and sometimes people think that they're making things better by calling out or shaming. A situation of. There was the story about this man who lived in pristine little town and he loved his town. He was so proud of it but he hated that this one fast food restaurant was terrible with their service and so forth and it's not. That was a shot his town so he decides he's going to call management to Alikhan. Nothing's happening stores not improving and he so angry about it. He cites. I'm GONNA go in. I'm going to document I'm going to record my whole transaction. And yes the service was bad and he called out the person who was waiting on him about how bad the service wasn't he posted it up on online. Yeah it went viral. And and he was seen as a bully even though he was trying to improve things not necessarily shame or hurt anyone but sometimes we don't realize it that by out your shaming people and you are bullying people and it can be very hurtful in yeah. A lot of people have a hard time recovering from it. I mean I don't need to tell you in this business. You have to have thick skin and to what level we we can guard against that a lot of people don't and you can a shame somebody and just absolutely bring them down so low that changes their life and I always say don't do stuff like that. I mean that's just that's just being a good human being right and so from my experience with that I was on the other end of it. I was cyber late on a global level before we even had the term cyberbullying and there is a brainwashing that takes place when you see cruelty coming at you about you on that cellphone on that. Laptop it is it's a brainwashing it's and it's it took a while for the experts to even quite comprehend that and I still think that they're a little confused about how powerful that is and it can be very powerful devastating and here. We're here we`re. I'm from one of the local school districts here last year. We had a whole rash of suicides and some other things that were related to online bullying. So it's really nothing to mess around with now being. That can be awful. It can be really bad you point out that there is hope you can recover from it. You can get through it and and one thing that you have come up with what you call this pact strategy and that's P. A. Cat the stands for A. You know something different out to help you give you strength right. They help you fall back on on on on these on these four things that can help you recover from something like this if if you have been a victim of it so we'll start with B and that is people that you love and trust so I was to the point where I was. Suicide was a very serious for me because the cruelty was so devastating. I am living proof that it is survivable when I look back and how I did it. In retrospect yeah it comes down to my pack it. Will you need to turn to your people the people you love and trust the most and tell them what you are dealing with so often especially kids. They're embarrassed by it. They're embarrassed they're shamed or bullied or a B. They brought something on themselves that they're embarrassed about and they go in their bedrooms with their cell phones their laptops in the high. And you don't tell anybody about the torment that they're suffering you need to recruit your army. Mine was my faith family and friends. I always say and maybe the army is one person. But you need to tell people even at one person how you are feeling in what you are experiencing. And maybe that person that you're lifesaver so key for people is abandoned and this is so important. Get OFF OF THAT PLATFORM. Get away from that group of. Yes that are that. Are slinging hurt in end cruelty at you because the more you look at it the more you accept it more you take it in the worst point two cm on necessarily get off of that platform shutdown get outside. Go play with your dog. Go hang out with your kids. I mean you bullying. There's no age limit with bullying adults deal with it just as much as kids. Just having a tougher time dealing with his. They're young and they're just learning life. You know but but yes certainly abandoned go do other things in it will definitely be a healing step in the third step is the see of the pact. And that is connecting with professionals for guidance absolutely professionals like myself Catherine Bosley dot com people who've been through stuff like this and people who are learning about how to to deal with it. There are so many websites anti-bullying websites online that they're there for you again for any age but also with with kids there's guidance counselors. Teachers are being trained. More and more hardy gets also. It can go as far as law enforcement or lawyers. I mean there are some legal steps. You can take to connect with professionals. You know in this area and a lot of people don't want to reach out for help especially when it's anything regarding their emotions or what's going on inside their head because they feel it's a sign of weakness and that's something that we really. I always preach. Don't feel that way. You don't feel that way if you hurt your elbow if if you are you struggling with Some sort of an emotional thing because maybe something somebody does something to you or for some other reason. Don't be afraid to ask for help right. And then that so much the case and I think that more and more. It's understood that that's big part of the problem and leading to the epidemic of suicide as a result of Cyprus cruelty so I believe that that's why we're seeing this uprising of support and recognition and use even PSA's and so forth about bullying in our people therefore so in it could be a private conversation with with a professional. You know out there absolutely in that brings us to the last step no matter how bad it is on this tier. I'll pass that yet t- packed and you know who hasn't been in a situation like for their thinking. Oh my goodness this thing is the end of me. I'm going to die. This is just going to ruin me. We've all been there right. Weather's happening in your personal life or your professional. Life is a devastating situation. And what happens by you're here today? You survived it. And even even better not only. Do you survive hardships? We all learn from them so you become wiser and you become stronger and you become more equipped than to be able to use all this knowledge you gain through this to help others along the way who might find themselves in similar situations so this year you shall pass it is one of my favorite sayings in life and And I live by it absolutely sure. Now you do as we talked about. You do a lot of public speaking and advocacy and what types of audiences. What are there any particular groups out there in society that need to hear this message? Maybe more so than others or how. How would you frame that you know? I think anyone who spends any time online or is in the digital world needs to hear this message. I'm really heartened taking it again from. I usually begin in high schools. That's where I focused for awhile. Up More and more principles were asking me to go down a little bit lower in starting the junior high level. So I I've talked to fifth and sixth graders. I prefer seventh graders all the way through college. I been on the National Association for campus activities on their national stage in regional stage With this message and then all all the way into the corporate world because You know on the corporate level and have to think that anything employees do can come back an hurt the company so this comes down to reputation management when you get up to that level so the the message that I bring on that level basically Encourages more of a discipline online and often more of a I opening about. You know how you do out there could come back and haunt your employer as well shit so again. It goes all away from from kids to the most successful adults. I changed my message accordingly and I I use my own experience. That is the.

Dr. Rupali Chadha Reps and the Coronavirus

"Get right to the topic that's at the forefront of everyone's mind the corona virus or cove nineteen for anyone unaware of it. Why is it and what makes it different than say the flu or any of the other viruses that are floating around for you mentioned it the virus just like the flu maybe but it is a particularly Unique virus and that it is not a human to human virus it actually. I originated originated. Amel and then I've been transferred over to Cuban. What makes it unique? Are Pretty much three features? The first one is that It is much more infectious than the flows so infectious basically means eight. One person gets sick Gingrich. Many many more people than data flew Other unique differences are the symptoms that you experience the flu Lou. You get Malays get shells and you develop a fever. And all of that with Corona virus. People don't have chills body aches. Malays it will just develop achiever into the presentation is different in. Bosley and most alarming unfortunately is at the corona virus on leads to more deaths than the flu. So it is a much more serious virus that if the way Leads to rapid deterioration in a certain patient population. Which is what we're looking out for right now. What is what are the best practices that people can employ stay safe from the corona virus? The number one thing is to wash your hands so just open. Water for twenty seconds is good enough. Many people are very concerned about not having had that. There's a verdict but hand sanitizer it really useful which don't have been water for example winger puppy gapped but other than that. Both people can quickly get through banking. So is Your Hall Roy. Orange and that's really BA- keep yourself safe The other main brackets if to say separated from people as much as possible. The virus is transmitted just like the fluid grew droplets in the air or the virus. Live and then get onto those those for your hands and then into your body so if you keep away from people that will help a lot because you walk around the virus the beginning this is the two things hand washing and keep away from other people now. What are the most common symptoms? What are the things that people should look out for for themselves and others to spot? The Corona virus their car viruses immed- IT PRODUCER. Viduthalai costs and high fever. And those are the two main symptom that people get before they develop shortness of breath which kind of indicates that the viruses leading the upper respiratory track down to the lower respiratory tract and getting more serious now You know those are the main things but I wanna add. Say That many people don't have there's been done They have an loud chorus and not have any symptoms to speak of. But there is still contagious. They still have the virus. So that's why again this cracker says keeping yourselves. This is why our guardsmen restaurants are out that we can keep some separation from each other If we don't have been read all for him to our grandma she is at risk. And there you go now. She's going to have the symptoms. But if you do develop a dry cough and high fever It would be a good time to call your physician and we're advising people not to flood the emergency room unless they're really big Simply because of resources that we have available and also because we don't want yours become petri dishes where everyone is catches it from each other. Now we've heard a great deal about social distancing. Let's talk a little bit about why that is so important to help. Contain the spread of the virus. Even if you're not sick right now it's a great question because a lot of people are Crushing University of Shelter System which is forty six percents from other people as well as Dana. Home as much of your chance if your employer that can work from home. That doesn't mean that it's time to go to the pool color and it's time for stay at all and the reason is you know. Think of What happened with toilet paper so everybody needed to be bright or they thought they get toilet paper and they all went to the store and they all the toilet paper. Now it's gone. It's not that we don't have enough votes. They prefer all Americans effects that immediate post people running to the store and Diminish that availability. Same thing happens in healthcare. They're only so many hospital emergency room and reportedly physicians and nurses to take care of you. So if we're all out and Abou- and R- highly contagious buyer and we're willing Willie. Then our premiums that it'd be over flooded really have ventilators the country and unfortunately with this virus some people will require health and breeding is developed developed acute respiratory syndrome. So that you know big concerns. If you said you quote flatten the cutters. And I'm sure there will start to that heard of that term and that basically just need that. If you said on your limit your contact people are GonNa get sick at a slower rates. Go that way will have an emergency where DR versus an ICU. Ventilator available flow. Get RATHER THAN ALL AT ONE. Well put now as a doctor. You and the other healthcare workers are on the front line of treating patients. What are some of the challenges that you're facing right now and also? What are you preparing for moving forward in your your challenge for us right now If we have to be there they were going to be exposed. We need PD which is personal protective equipment and we don't have enough available Part of the issue is that a lot of people went out and bought the end. Ninety five mask or the glory with them from the hospital and took them home. That's part of the part of the problem. The other problem supply chain issue which had more to do with how little met in our healthcare industry get products to us and what kind of shortages they create. So you're not to get into that whole rabbit hole but we don't have enough personal protective equipment that the challenge Lucy. He'd also as I mentioned if that curve dozen flattened. We're just not going to be. There's going to be enough of US care of our view on the other side of that. How have you seen an uptick in healthcare workers? Coming Down with this so there isn't there has been talk. That healthcare workers are getting thicker. But the the big big caveat in all of this is that we don't have the amount of testing we need available just yet Our government and events gift from other governments are trying to help prepare for that so that we can tax people That one of the issues but Other conservative that there is a hypothesis that the longer exposure you have cue corona virus and more L. You can become out. There's no data to support. This is just something that Healthcare workers in Italy observed that their doctors and there were eighty six at a higher rate or a more severely fiqh but this is all just observational right now. We don't really know the big thing with this virus that I've heard is. It's so new that like you said we don't really know what to expect yet and everybody is just sort of learning from the last country where it became a problem as dominating around the World Eric. That's very true. Are you know that's why it's better to be safe then? Sorry has would you rather look back and say? Oh Valley so overreacted. We'll have to stay home for two weeks and watch versus. Oh no what about our businesses? Otherwise people

With your Mayo Clinic Radio Health Minute, I'm Vivian Williams. Cellulite is term used to describe lumpy. Dimpled flesh usually on the thighs buttocks and abdomen. Eighty to ninety percent of adult women have it and probably almost as many men, we have fibrous tissue that keeps our skin supported and keeps it attached to the muscles and fashion below and with time that tissue breaks down. And so the fat that you accumulate will herniated or project through that tissue. Because now it's getting holes in it. And that is the appearance that you see a cellulite. Dr Don Davis says there are things you can do to reduce the appearance of cellulite it's important to maintain a healthy weight. The other thing is just maintaining good muscular tone around your abdomen buttocks and thighs. So that way the supportive tissue around. Your skin is firmer so eating right and exercising. Andrew Rannells talks 'Black Monday'

"Thrilled today because Andrew rannells. My guest is not only in black Monday on Showtime, you so I've been book a Mormon girls we were just talking about Falsettoes your hero of mine and come on. Oh, I'm real ten. I'm so happy to be here. Thank you for having me. So look it will never get better than this. I think there's nothing left. This is my finally this is it. I'm retiring after this. Let's start with what's the newest black Monday on Showtime. So it's just you again, even though it set, I'm sure before you, even drew breath. Now now, it's I mean, I was I was a kid at the time. Seventy seven was not really aware of the stock market crash of nineteen seven when I was that age. So so it was very interesting to sort of learn about all of that. And what repercussions that had? But this story is it's Don Cheadle and Regina hall. And I. And we are the sort of ragtag group of traders who work for. A lower financial firm on Wall Street, and they're really trying to make a name for themselves. And it sounds so professional as you describe it. Well, I mean, you said ragtag ragtag these people are basically insane. They're pretty nuts. Yeah. They really they don't know. They don't know abound. Are I think that the this time in this world and particular in the financial world of the eighties in New York? There was a lot of excess and a lot of celebration of excess. And I think we really leaned into that quite a bit with this show. It's very strange because your character Blair is excuse the expression the straightest. Yeah. Of the characters on this show, which is really fun to get to do. I mean, I really haven't gotten to do that since the book of Mormon really that was the last time I sort of got to play that up tight guy, and it's fun. I enjoy doing that. I enjoy I mean don's characters is larger than life. And it's really does some crazy crazy things. And was it's. I really enjoy getting to be the straight guy who has to be there to witness all of this insanity. I get to do some crazy stuff later. But we do a good job of sort of topping ourselves with every episode to see how how far we can get because the other things so we're leading up to the stock market crash. But it really is about this group of people and how they're sort of individual petty, greedy actions have these larger this larger effect on the the world of finance, and it's, but it's about this human interaction that gets very messy between these people. Well, you sort of discovering things about yourself your character, aren't you especially cocaine there's like cocaine it had a major affect on him. Yeah. He really takes too easily. Ooh. You know? We've come a we've all been there. You know? It's funny. I got to sort of be the I mean, Don by far would be the expert because of his role in boogie nights. I think he really obviously did a lot of cocaine, but I have done a lot of fake cocaine because we did it. I did it often on girls so girls head to what is the fake. It's vitamin B powder. Offset so hard to believe it sounds so healthy. I know, but if we did as much as we actually do I wouldn't be here. I'd be dead. I would have had a heart attack. But I thought actors did everything for their art. No, I come on. You've worked with so many people even Robert deniro I did work with Robert in. And I sure that had he been playing this part winning. Yes, I'm probably he would have doubled down. He would if I let you down Mr. barrow, Bob Bosley. You wanted to be called Bob I called him. Mr. Niro, I think a wise personal choice. Right. I I didn't really know how to behave with him. And we worked together we didn't have a ton of scenes together, but we were often onset together. And I just never knew how to behave because Nancy Meyers the director told me she was like he doesn't like to talk about his career. So don't start asking him questions about like raging bull. Don't that's not cool. So then you'd find yourself like next to Robert deniro trying to make small talk. And I just out of like panic would start cursing a lot of hot other four. She will scorcher. What is that air conditioning? I turn into like a lunatic. And he I that was the only way I could. And I'm sure that just in dear. I'm sure well, what's that Cupido looking guy to cursing his face based off? Yeah, I'm sure he'd loved it before you had done black Monday. Yeah. Darned, Cheeto, Regina hall. Did. You know, these people. No, I met Don when became see the book of Mormon, but was just a huge Mirer of his but never worked with them in Regina the same. Like, we I've been a fan of hers for a very long time. But we never crossed paths before. So you know, pilots are weird because you you get dropped into this group of people that you have to you have to bond and create this thing with very quickly. And then see what happens in your sort of still figuring out like who are these characters. What is the story? And what are we doing? And in a way that you don't even really experience in theatre. Although sometimes you get those jobs that are just a couple of weeks long, or whatever, and you sort of have to you come together very quickly, but the stakes are a little lower. When you're doing a television show like this, you really have to just double down and hope that you're making the right choices. But luckily, the three of us and Paul Shearer and Horatio Sanz and. You know, great supporting cast that that really just jumped in altogether.
