Anthony Fauci Is Not the Boogie Man
"I think the anthony fowleri is the boogeyman that a lot of people have looked for. And i don't know that he's the boogeyman. I think foul cheeses scientists. And i've said this from the outset if he could keep everybody wrapped up in bubble. Wrap it in their homes. He would because his only mission his life's work is to try to keep a virus from going from one person to another. He doesn't care about the politics of it. He doesn't care about the business angle he just doesn't want the virus to spread. The guy is how old. how old is how. Old is tony He's done this all his life. I don't know the guy. I've interviewed him. I think as this thing has gotten progressively prolonged whatever happened. Remember fifteen days to stop the spread. I think we're so angry and were so frustrated. And we're so anxious that we need a bad guy. We need a fall guy. We need a boogeyman. And it's become dr anthony vouching and i don't think i don't think it's entirely deserved.

Project Boogie Van Update
"Week's project car of the week is a retired mo- par drag car and you should know by now how cool i think old school mo- par drag cars are so it's no surprise. Why pick this drag challenger for project. The week it was posted on the talking mo- parts facebook page on wednesday june second at three o'clock and there is a big mistake in the ad which we will discuss after here is the ad nineteen seventy dodge challenger race car twenty thousand dollars. Joseph used cars vintage pro stock. Hardy roller chassis. Steele roof and quarters would make a good twenty eight and a half tire class car or bracket or whatever you wanna race twenty thousand or best offer title status is missing okay folks so if you saw the car or looking at it right now listening to this. You'd see that the car is a nineteen seventy-one assuming that the grill retail i panel have never been changed and the ad lists it as a seventy that's annoying to me ad also states. The title is missing which also annoys me. But it's understandable considering the car's been out of commission likely since the seventies the fender tag is long gone unless these guys have it and they will include it with the sale but look the cars and old drag car and if it were to see the track again it would definitely need some upgrading and updating. But that's not exactly how i roll. I'd love to be able to drive this car on the road into shows and cruises so that's the direction i would take it. I would actually leave it. The nostalgic look. But i would obviously get it safe and able to be street driven. The exterior of this car needs to be preserved. Exactly how it is with. Its wild custom paint job in giant period. Correct looking offset hood scoop. It's really hard for me to explain how this car looked. So you really have to go to the talking about parts. facebook page. Go back to wednesday. June second at three o'clock and check this car out. But you know let's not forget to mention. This car was driven an own by west jury and the chassis was built by the legendary drag racer and racecar builder. Don hardy which is really cool

And i worked with shamans in will now on three different continents and what i was fascinated by was a sensitives no matter where i went. They all do a universal way of working and a universal way of thinking that all all the shopping so that worked with seemed to have. And i didn't really know what it was and end up but i i could. I could feel that they were all a drawing from the same considered ideas. I had the good fortune of visiting hawaii many times. And i never really thought to look here for spiritual influence. It was just what i said. Wide shamanism wasn't wasn't on my radar. But i did have really profound experiences with the land
Mainstream Media Love Rewriting Headlines and Not Giving the Changes Equal Coverage
"Travels around the world thing. Am I talking about? I got a serious of headlines from the Washington Post where they're just magically rewriting history right in front of our very eyes and pretending nothing happened at all. And I saw another story yesterday in the hill, A friend of mine sent over which did the same thing about the Trump tear gas protesters in front of the White House. Remember that? Oh, wait till I get to that story. Here's a headline from The Washington Post when Trump was in office. Violent protests. Clashes turned Portland into where Right wing boogie Man Here's how it happened. So just to be clear when Trump was in office, the Washington Post disclaiming Hey, these antifa people in Portland. This is a right wing boogie man. Nothing to see here, folks. Look, squirrel. You're all being distracted. Trump doesn't know what he's talking about me. While it was odd we were watching the insurrection at the courthouse go down in port. Then we're watching people being beaten, burned, attacked in the streets. We were watching it. We saw an actual murder. We were told that Republicans pounds that's just the right wing bogeyman. Why Because Donald Trump was in office, Donald Trump said, For obvious reasons. I can't stand Antifa. So of course, the left in the media said. Well, if Donald Trump doesn't like Antifa, we love it. T father their greatest because that's what the media does. So now Donald Trump's out of office. And listen, how they kind of rewrite these things. There's a new headline in The Washington Post about Portland. Weird. Anarchists and an increase in violent crime. Hijack Portland Social justice will remain anarchists and increase in violent crime. I thought that was a right wing boogie man. That's what she said in the prior headlining Trump was so it's not a right wing bogeyman that wasn't increase in violent crime. With anarchists. There was so in

We know each other from the whole fox News ecosystem. You were warning people a long time ago. About the threat of Antifa up in the northwest in the Portland area. Washington the area your radio audience covers you're like, Hey, guys, This is the real deal. These guys were doing really bad stuff and people like you, of course, were mocked and me. We're all conspiracy. There's I want to read to you. A serious of headlines from The Washington Post is just too. Here's the first one from a while ago. They claim that we were trying to turn Portland into a quote, right wing Boogie Man, they said violent protests. Clashes turn Portland into a right wing boogie Man. Here's how it happened. Okay, that's fascinate. Here's The Washington Post headline from just a few days ago. Anarchists and an increase in violent crime. Hijacked Portland Social justice movement. Uh, Jason that we missed something. You It was really remarkable. Have you ever had the moment where you clearly see something and other people say it doesn't exist and you have to step back for a second and say to yourself, am I the one? That's crazy, Or is everyone else around me crazy? I think those moments many times, and it's funny. It didn't I don't have to do a deep undercover investigation that took months and months and months of my time to uncover this stuff, I literally would just walk. You know, a mile away from my studio here in Seattle to see it
South African, Brazilian coronavirus variants land in Los Angeles
"African and Brazilian variants of covert 19 have been identified in Los Angeles, so they have been found here. About 70 specimens were studied randomly by department of Public Health 64% of them were found to be the B. I think it's to be 117. Which is the British variant and 20% were of the California variant because we got to do it our own way. Here's the thing very instant. If we have our numbers are low enough. Those variants don't matter, And it doesn't have to be the giant boogie man that everybody thinks it's going to be.
Where to Find a Truly Authentic Disney Beach Vacation
"We're going to be talking all about disney's beach resorts and we're talking about disney's i guess. Would we call them their real beach resorts all around the world. Not their photo. Beach resorts at their feet resort feats resorts like that fo- beach and we're talking about places like what disney's beach club resort would be there features are and just a little bit of background. I remember when we talked about the wave pool that was in the lagoon and outside of the polynesian and dick nunez the emad surfer who turned imagine near and when they first opened disneyworld he thought disneyworld had to compete with beach resorts in florida. And that no one would wanna go there because there wasn't a beach so they created beaches and they tried to do surfing. Didn't really work but then later. They added the pool at typhoon lagoon yet and of course they added the beach club resort and tom along they deign has a real sand bottom. But it still wasn't real and when we say beach resorts i guess. Let's put it this way in front beach resorts well all right. Well we'll get into that. So there are you may or may not know three count them three actual disney beach resorts not associated with any theme parks. And we've talked about one on this podcast in the past if you're planning summer vacation hopefully we're all going traveling this summer and you want to go to a beach resort and you love disney. We're gonna give you three amazing options for disney beach resorts and i'm putting them in my personal preference order. You're probably going to agree with my order. I would imagine start with number one. Most important will go first. Okay and that for me is alani lenny desire lani resort and spa in co alina. A wa who hawaii i do you say that. So he no or lena that. So co lena is the little town. This is a true beachfront resort in hawaii. In this episode we're going to focus on the beaches because we're talking about beach vacations. We will do more in depth on the resorts. We've already done one about our number two which will get to momentarily. But if you there's nothing really. That beats a hawaiian beach. What do you think jonah blank blank. So the beach call. Lena is you fly. Into on her lulu. And it's a really short drive right. We definitely rent a car. And i'll get into why that resort alani is right on the ocean in this really upscale town called co alina and it's a little bit of an interesting beach there because it it's very sheltered. They have storm break. So it's not very good for surfing but if you're one of those people that likes to think the ocean is a pool that has no currents at all. This might be for you. Yeah it's of funny. Because i learned somewhere along the way in my travel life that most of resort hotels on islands even barbados in that they build the hotels on the quiet side of the island. But we love waves right. We like big waves. So we'd always have to do. When i was surfing and barbados. You gotta go down to the super bowl's on the other side of the island but all the big resorts are on the calm side. If there is one and co lena's the whole point is sort of like that but actually there's four lagoons dan this strip of land in their man made so they did like you said they built breakwaters and they're sort of like a c shape. It's almost like a donut with a little cutout which is open to the ocean right. So there's water comes in. They are open to the ocean but yes. They're very calm. They're pretty large. I don't know. I don't even know how big they are. But they're big. It's not like people. Yeah and you can rent boats and sailboats. And a few things in there it can take a lot of people and then there's other upscale resorts at the neighbors of alani and there's four of these lagoons and you can walk along the waterfront the rest of the waterfront there sorta rocky so that's probably why was undeveloped in the past and then disney came along and somebody figured out. Hey we can make nice beaches here if we put these little lagoons. So it is a true. Hawaiian beachfront resort. You can swim in the beautiful pacific ocean. It faces the sunset which is really nice. But if you're going to hawaii and if you're going to alani in particular there are many other as ing beaches on oahu. Don't always need to go in a volcano. Guess you don't need to go. What is oh. Amelia wrote a song as a kid going to hawaii in volcano which would be the big island of hawaii not on oahu. But if you're going to oahu and you're going to alani it's a beautiful beach Franck resort will get into all the rest of it and another episode because es cell using storm along. Bay is a good waterpark. Alani puts it to shame. But we're going to save that for a future episode. Pure here for storm. Along is now an official disney waterpark. A resort it sort of water park for among resorts compared to any other pool. That is you know typically pool with a slide. It's pretty much a waterpark. There's a lazy river there. there's a beat anyway. we're not talking about disney's beach club resort. We're talking about disney's true beach resorts on the ocean. But if you go to alanine. You're in hawaii definitely rent a car because there are some amazing beaches around the island and we have three favorites. Yes when we were there and the one one is why of course the north shore's famous the banzai pipeline. Wia me a base of drive to that beach. Any of these things are an hour to ride real easy day trips to go to the beaches and then i call the surfing beach surfing. Beach is kylie loa beach. If that's how you pronounce it pronouncing these the lower something. It's just back on the way back towards honolulu about halfway. There may be and yet. It's it's a real true. Hawaiian bichon little campground part. If you wanna take surfing lessons there it's great. There's great lessons there. The waves are consistent. It's a true open. Beat quite amazing. Little kids surfing. Yeah amazing little kids. Maybe we'll post a picture of usurping on that beach as part of this social media for this episode so that that one's really close great spot to go surfing and then across on the other side of the island is kahlua which is a really cool little town right on the water and they have a really neat beach there too so chi loo beach the north shore and kellyanne lower beach. I think that's how you say it. I may be saying wrong but you'll find it. Those are three awesome beaches. Plus you do have a beach rate at your resort. A nice quiet beach like amelia said. The water's warm there. It's very calm tons of beach chairs. it's it's fairly large semi circle shape. Check it out on a google earth map and you'll see so that is out of ninety eleni hawaii and then another one we talked about. They will be disney's vero beach resort. And i don't know this might actually be my favorite beach if we're talking strictly about the beach hotel. I'd have to say personally. I prefer the air disney's vero beach resort beach than the alani beach lie because it is truly wide open to the ocean. You can't even serve there either. You can on windy days. We have seen people surfing there. You can definitely bougie board there quite a bit. But i'm going to get in just like we did with lonnie there's other beaches nearby but at vero beach resort the beach is you know you're just on the coast there on vero beach so it extends hundreds of miles but there's rarely it's rarely what i would call crowded. No sometimes in the mornings we go on beach walks and watch the sunrise and get bitten by no see'ums. We talked about that in our verbiage. Episode. this is what. I was alluding to earlier if you want to know. More about. The resort in the area listened to that episode a few back but the beach itself. We didn't really focus on and there is a beach house. there where you can rent watercraft sailboats. But you can bring your own boogie boards and you surf and you're within range of bringing a surfboard. It's your subject to the winds really. It's wind driven surf there. It's not nash. Natural surf break but the beach itself has filled with tons of shells and highlight to look for shark teeth. It's weather dependent so days. It's actually quite calm other days. It's very rough. So i liked that personally. I like those open

And then you've told me that there's actual stages and it's a medical thing so why don't you start by telling everybody what frailty actually is to a medical doctor a right. Thank you very much for the kind introduction jets and so frankly is very commonly used announced a families look after all people and they just say oh mommy's a bit freia and she's slowed down a little bit out. Of course they chum failty in medical world as means completely different thing and their definition official definition knees highly if they reduce physiological reserves allocco physiological reserves. This means and why is it important to understand while this happens. As a result of amalgamation wolf three major factors as a result of aging process amalgamated with age related diseases we accumulate over the life span as less side effects of medications. Let me give you an example. What this means. So recent example for my clinical practice beatrice is ninety two year old lady. She's quite fit. Well lead independently. She before the lockdown. Actually it was running classes in a swimming pool oval senior citizens so very engaged with her community and leaving a beautiful life with quote a good quality of life however decreases ninety two and in the lost two three years. Should he'd have a few medical problems into stroke clinic with couple of meanest strobes diagnoses on. Jain ah should also has a little bit okay. High blood pressure. Some kidney disease muggle problems. None of them are actually bad enough to impact on. Have day to day functioning. She takes madison's will. These conditions is on block thin as full day mini strokes or cholesterol tablets. So she's functioning will and then one day should develops really a bad kid named action or you're north talked infection and it was bad enough for her to be a stylized in hospital and what happened. She became very confused. Deal various and rather than spending just two three days in hospital For intravenous antibiotics shea had two weeks admission in hospital because have confusion was resolving and of course what happens told their doubts if they spend a lot of time in in bed completely condition muscles wasted away by them. Building Confidence with Jonathan Van Ness
"Hello jonathan so. I'm a huge fan of queer eye and of yours personally because you're radiating joey all over the place whether it's watching you learn to figure skate on i g or your daily morning coffee boogie you. I really just love all of your content And virtually officiating a wedding. That was also very cool during quarantine so cool so we're really honored to have you on breaking beauty. Podcast tell us from your perspective like what is self confidence. What does it look like. And why is it important. Pay attention to. Oh that's a really good question. I think for me. Self confidence is so important because it will competence is like one of the central tenets of self of like being centered self and what that means is in the therapy that i've done so much of is like we wanna be self led like my idea. Being sulfide is like the person that like. Even if i'm late or things of kind of gone awry like i can still be calm. I'm not reactive inaugurated you know. You're centered selfish. Very like calm clear compassionate courageous. It's like really like the best version of yourself and so confidence is part of that in so when you feel confident that's like a really good indicator for me when i feel confidence a really good indicator for me that my centered south. I miss. i'm not in an a people pleasing my personality. I'm not in a irritated part of my personality. I'm not in like a overly work mode part of my personality. I'm like you know self-led fled so accurately talks about that. There's a lot of people in virtual eaters and spiritual thinkers who think who talk about being selfless. So confidence is such a big piece of that. But i think the thing that people miss the most often about confidence and i know that for myself i did too is that you can be competent and you can have a part of you. That feels really confident about something but then also really insecure about something else and can happen at the same time There's parts of you that feel confident but then there's other parts that you know are insecure about certain things and so the trick is is wet part of yourself. Can you identify with. Can you hear from that part. That might wanna change something or maybe doesn't like something about yourself and say look i hear you like i get it. I understand why you might feel that way about yourself. This is like you talking to yourself. Maybe we got those ideas from society or like something. That doesn't really feel organic to us. Like while i hear what you're saying i need to get in the back seat because actually centered. South is here. And we're not going to be berating ourselves today about that like expectation of beauty that we know that part of me has for how it's supposed to him kind of china mores in it by with this parliament industrial confidence about you know my heart may essence. What i do for my friends what i do for me. The only or feels like super confident about my face. I have i will say this. Maybe i am maybe really competent. But my face is like one thing. I've never been self conscious about like. I've always thought like a really pretty face like i've cobblers. I like i've always been like work. There's other so. I always looks like something. You feel competent. It doesn't mean physical thing it can be a piece of who you are and then just tried to identify with that. Because i think there's anyone who feels completely competent about everything all the time every single thing. Yeah i read in your bio that from a really young age like forever. You were out and i and i think about back then like what gives you the confidence to express your authentic self. Even from a young age. I say the include ryan episodes of like you know there really was like i could really be in a closet if you had like is in ears like if you were in my presence. You were very much like okay. Like i was fully fluid in nancy. Kerrigan kristi yamaguchi oxana by all geos zodiac sign. I also knew about everything about the electoral college in the presidential election of nineteen ninety-two. I really wanted to talk about i. Thought ross perot is actually. When i understood. I understood like the words. I didn't understand the politics of his leaks. I was i was really engaged in the world around me also just extremely feminine and i wanted to wear tights that i wanted to her off the shoulder. Things and i wanted to like run up to my dad's best friends like push them in runaway. Be like it was just exactly how i am now but if i do is coming out of the closet officially linked answering yes to the question of our i was getting asked if i was gade called gay and like just was asked to from such a young age that i think by the time it was like in sixth grade. It was like by fifth grade already done. I'm buying and pamela anderson's. I watch being watch like i you know but really it was david hasselhoff that i get enough up. He was such treatment in the nineties. Yeah until he started rapping. Of course you started rapping. Did i miss a diva rap. I'm pretty sure he was a big rapper. In germany he had an act german moment. I did knows because of rapid wisit wrapping. Am i making that up. Okay i'm going to have to google it after our call

Activists On How To Sustain Movement Against Police Brutality
"Cove in 19 crisis has not just been a health crisis. It's been an economic crisis to and as economic crises arise, so it is unemployment and homelessness. In the years following the 2008 economic collapse, major cities saw a dramatic rise in the number of people experiencing homelessness. And now amid the Koven 19 pandemic, we're seeing a rising rate of addictions, according to the eviction lab in 17 cities that they tracked there have been more than 53,000 eviction since the pandemic began. Results, not just homeless men on the street, but Children living in shelters, families living in their cars and Wal Mart parking lots. People crowding into friends or relatives shared rooms this period of time since the Koven 19 pandemic hasn't just exacerbated the problem. It's also Given rise to a kind of grassroots activism against it. Earlier this year amid the national uprisings for racial justice against police brutality, anti homelessness activists have been playing an increasingly public role. In cities like Minneapolis in Philadelphia, activists have established homeless encampments and protected them from law enforcement sweeps that displaced the camps. I'm joined now by Will James, reporter with Can k X public radio in Washington and host of the Outsiders podcast about homelessness in Olympia. Great to have you here? Well, yeah. Hey, Matt, thanks and were also on the line with Anna or so a reporter with the Philadelphia Inquirer who has been reporting on a homeless encampment slash protest in center city, Philadelphia. Anna. Thanks for joining us. Hey, thanks for having me your welcome. So, guys, let's start with you. Will you've been following the homes this crisis throughout the West Coast? Can you just give us a picture to start of what This crisis looked like before the pandemic. It Yeah. So, you know, just take Washington State, for example. You know, we have an estimated 21,000 people who are homeless in Washington state. And on the West Coast. What kind of distinguishes the West Coast from the East Coast when it comes to homeless is thie proportion of people who are homeless who are living outside who are unsheltered who are living in tents in the woods and on the sides of highways? By some accounts, you know all the numbers and homelessness are a little bit shaky, very hard to get a solid number on them. But as many as two thirds of people who are unsheltered and homeless in the United States live in California, Oregon and Washington, so homelessness has been very visible crisis impossible to ignore in the West Coast, vast encampments of people living in city downtown's and in parks and before a coven 19 homelessness was the front and center issue. In so many West Coast cities. He was getting a lot of attention. There was a ton of advocacy it was, you know, in every City Council meeting every county council meeting now homelessness is one of many emergencies that states and cities and counties they're dealing with. And so We're seeing advocates fighting for attention for this issue in a way that that really hasn't been necessary in past years. How are they fighting for attention House out? What does that look like? It looks like kind of trying to use the media show up at City Council meetings and government meetings and just kind of reminding people in power that Even though there are so many crises that we're dealing with right now, this homelessness emergency hasn't gone away. In fact, much of the West Coast, many of the cities on the West Coast were in an official state of emergency around homelessness before this began, and so cove in 19 is actually you know, a state of emergency on top of a state of emergency in many of these cities. Well, Ana tell us what's going on in Philly. There have been a couple of homeless encampments around for months. But they apparently double is protest movements. Right? Can you explain a bit about what these look like? And what they're like? Yeah, you know, for Philadelphia. It's sort of a new and unique structure. We have had encampments of homeless folks for several years now that I have grown in size and in prominence, and the city has, you know, swept them cleared them out, and then people scatter and eventually re gather somewhere else. Now in the past couple of years, they've really been concentrated in the city's Kensington neighborhood. Which is a couple of miles away from center city, and from where you know, media and politicians sort of do their everyday work. Now the largest encampment of homeless folks, which was organized in June by affordable housing advocates, is on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, which is a very prominent space sort of in the middle of the city. It's where the famous art museum is located. It's surrounded by luxury condos. And it's really in a place that is impossible to ignore. And so we now have this interesting confluence of the racial justice movement mixed with the movement for affordable housing for people living in homelessness. And so it's presenting the city with this really new and interesting challenge because they just can't handle This encampment like they have others in the past. Are they making a connection between racial justice, the black lives matter, Movements and homeless activism. Are they making a connection there? Very much so thie Encampment was established two weeks into You know the racial justice protests here in Philadelphia, and it was immediately tied to black lives matter. The activists connect the criminal justice system and policing systems. With poverty and homelessness. There are a lot of black men and women who are living in this homeless encampment who have been in and out of the sister criminal justice system almost all of their lives and The organizers of this encampment are saying, Look, this is all connected. If we reform our policing systems to stop just proportionately impacting black people in Philadelphia, we can make a you know a real change in what poverty and homelessness looks like in this city if we can get people into housing, rather than putting them in temporary shelters or sending them back out onto the streets where, whereas the activists say Homelessness could be criminalized in a variety of ways. Whether that's folks being charged for substance used public drunk in this, the like these systems really are sort of inextricably linked. And how is the city handling this? Are they allowing this homeless encampment to just stay in the center of town? I understand is also a a second one near the Philadelphia Housing Authority's office. I imagine these folks can't stay living there and intense and whatnot for then, you know, indefinitely. Yeah. You know, it's been interesting. The city has given several eviction notices A TTE this point for both encampments. You're right. There is a smaller encampment in north Philadelphia outside. The Housing Authority, which runs public housing in the city. But so far the people living there, and the activists running these encampments have resisted thes eviction notices in a variety of ways. A couple months ago, there was a federal lawsuit filed on behalf of the encampment. Residents, claiming their first Amendment right to protest was was being violated. And several weeks ago, the city put out a final eviction notice and Went, outreach workers and police showed up early one morning. At seven o'clock. There were dozens of activists who had gathered to defend the camps with sticks, boogie boards, makeshift shields, and it just was very clear that That a sweep of the encampment was going to be really ugly on DH. There was a ton of media there Tio to capture what occur so outreach workers and police sort of stepped back and No eviction has taken place yet. You know the city and the activists are are still sort of negotiating. Will

"This week's project. Car of the week is actually a van and I'm starting to think I should just call this segment. Mo- par project of the week just because. You know I picked more than just cars for the segment. So be ready for that change. I'm trying to be a little bit more diverse with the Mo parts that I choose for this segment because I do like mo parts from all areas and all types of Mo- parts and I think that good moped projects aren't just cars sometimes their trucks, and since I'm on a van kick this week was a van and Let, me say that I actually set out to find van for this week's project. There was just one issue there aren't very many out there. So let's read the ad and then we'll talk some more about vans and why they can make cool projects. The van featured on this edition of Mo- Project of the week was posted on the Mo- part hundred facebook page on Sunday September sixth at nine. AM HERE IS THE AD. Van Three Thousand Nine, hundred, ninety, five, dollars, nineteen seventy five, dodge tradesman shorty three Eighteen v eight auto runs drives and stops pretty well for a forty five year old van. If you've been looking for one of these, this is one to consider not showroom ready. But great start to a street machine serious inquiries only please three, thousand, nine, hundred, ninety, five dollars, or best offer title status is clean. So. This ban is a short wheelbase van, which for these is one hundred, nine inches compared to the longer versions that one, hundred, twenty, seven inches the van that I wanna buy from Stacey is a hundred, twenty, seven inches for wheelbase. So it's longer than my dad's was since my dad's was a like this van the one in this ad is to tone it has a light blue base with a thick. Dark blue striped mid body in a dark blue roof. It has a windshield visor which is very buggy vanish and it has my favorite bubble windows of all time. The PENTASTAR portholes they are super rare and I'd love to hunt down a set for my future van project. But if stacy's van ends up being mind, then I'll just settle for the round portholes unless I can find. Those awesome. Pentastar. Wants this van. Also has a grant wood grain steering wheel, which adds to that nostalgic feeling along with that pop up Sunroof, and it looks like at one point back was done up like seventies custom but right now it's pretty bare, which is great. Because most of the time when you find these vans, the cargo area usually needs to be redone. These old buggy vans had all shag carpet and cabinets put in Old Saints and. Things like that. So chances are if you find one of these, it'll probably need new carpet and things like that. This one actually has a plywood floor and looking around it actually looks like the van was originally read. The good news is that it will be easy to strip the cargo area and get creative to create your own space. I. Like the idea of a modern version of a classic book Van Something. Creative enough that you can go to shows and show it off. But you can also go camping, and if you're the nomad life, you can hit the road and live that van life but it would also be cool to get this thing capable of hauling a race car that way you have a place to store your tools, parts, extra tires, and have a place to stay at the track instead of. A ten I really liked that idea for me I like all those possibilities but the possibility of having a mobile podcast studio when I go to events would be really cool and if I bring merch with me, it would make a great display for the Merch to this thing has a three eighteen. It's running and driving and hey, it stops too. So that's always nice I like projects that you can. Drive home and this thing is you know that type of a project, it even has some pin striping on the hood, which is cool because it's kind of like a throwback. It does need some new wheels and tires and some fifteen by ten on fats in the back and some fifteen by eight in the front would give this thing that groovy raked stance that was so popular with these vans back. In the day I, think that this van is also in desperate need of a front lip spoiler and the fender flares, which you can surprisingly still find if you look hard enough online but all in all, I'd say if you were interested in getting a Boogie van for a project for less than four grant, I think this one is a great candidate I actually did reach out to the seller just to. Feel the water and see what the temperature was like and it sounds like he's pretty firm with not much wiggle room. But he said that thirty five, hundred to the right person would take it home. WanNa know what I offered him. But that's a whole nother story since these vans are hard to find think he's in the ballpark the side doors do have a little damage and there's definitely some work probably needs to be done but overall, it appears to be pretty solid. So if you're looking to get back into fanning and relive your youth or even if you're a rookie banner, this would make a fun project keep on Truckin my friends that was Mo- part project of the week Nomo par left behind. Since we're on the topic of vans. This week's high-performance part belongs to a custom Shorty Dodge van and the two thousand, fifteen movie American ultra and because I suck at explaining movies, I finally come to the realization that from now on I think I'm just GonNa read the Synopsis Straight from Rotten Tomatoes. So here is the synopsis for American Ultra. Tomatoes. American ultra is a fast paced action comedy about Mike Played by Jesse Eisenberg, a seemingly hapless and unmotivated donor who's small town life with his live in girlfriend phoebe played by Kristen Stewart is suddenly turned upside down unbeknownst to him. Mike is actually a highly trained lethal sleeper agent in the blink of an eye as a secret past comes back to haunt him. Mike is Thrust into the middle of deadly government operation and is forced to summon his. Interaction hero in order to survive. Now, where does this sweet Boogie van come in well about seventeen minutes and thirty seconds into the movie Eisenberg's character Mike Meets up with his drug dealer rose played by John Leguizamo to buy illegal fireworks. The show he wants to put on for when he proposes to phoebe Rachel Rolls Up to the meeting spot in one thousand, nine, hundred, ninety, four to nineteen, seventy, six, dodge short van with a wild paint scheme which. To me looks like a vinyl rap, but

The new album by the way which last week I was raving about that I love. But that's what isn't this crazy. This fame am dude. Roddy rich who blocked Bieber from going to number one may be blocking. Selena Gomez from going to number one with his album. His Song Unblock Bieber's Yummy from going to number one singles chart and now his album. That's released the same week as Selena may be knocking hers. Not only did she beg her it. It was so funny because she released this this video saying you know. I said that. I don't care about chart. Position eventually admitted that she lied. She's like but this album. Missile personal. What did you see? I don't know if you got it. Okay Oh no no well. You explain that. 'cause I don't know about Roddy but then another video. Selena and her friends went to target and Walmart to buy a bunch of physical copies of her album. What did Roddy do well? He tweeted aided this morning. Please stream SELENA's rare album which I thought was a very classy move so he's trying to get to number one for her. It's Nice Yeah. Aw All that is very nice. I would like for her to have number one. All right fingers crossed all right. Did you catch any of this drama with Jillian Michaels and Liz. Oh Oh yes I did. Okay if you missed it Jillian. Michaels was talking about her her previous. Show the biggest loser and if it could work now or not and she said no because because people are too politic politically incorrect and she was saying how people like Liz O or glamorizing obesity. And then a lot of people reacted very strongly about at that and there was all this drama and one of the things she said. Jillian michaels is. Why are we celebrate her body? Why does it matter? Why are we celebrating her music? It 'cause it's GONNA be awesome if she gets diabetes. Well hello there's a lot of people that get diabetes to Jillian Michaels. Listen I I understand a lot of what she said I just don't think. She expressed herself very well. She corrected her statement and she also keep in mind was asked I specifically about Liz. Oh she didn't come out and say I'm taking down Eliza with my thoughts she was asked about her and her point was taking this about her weight with me. I think she was trying to say to your point. I think she was trying to say that there is a obesity problem. That's one side of of it but also celebrate who you are the other side of it and she didn't do that very well. I don't know there are two separate issues to people that do different things. And it's unfortunate for Lizardo and Eliza fans and let us hope things body positively and as is Jillian michaels or whatever her name is that's our thing too so it's two separate issues that kind of get tangled together and it's unfortunate. Well Eliza joined took tick tock recently I mean she. She's been on for a while. But she only just started using concerted Ashley Tisdale. I'm all about the tick tock still anyways. Let's freeze through a couple more things than we'll take a couple calls and we'll we'll get more next week. Abby Huntsman quit the view because things got too toxic there the show young people these days. Such quitters. uh-huh I love that angle more but he he related news. Ronnie Ortiz Magara has gotten a protection action order against his baby. Mama Jen Harley. Those two are still messes as well. Let's just end things with Demi Levato News. She is ready to make make her comeback. She's going to be performing at two major events coming up soon. Demi is going to be performing at the grammys debuting. Doing her new single and then she's going to be performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. So I gotta say. I think that Scooter Braun has done done well for her. Her single needs to be a hit though. It can't be mediocre if it's mediocre. It's not going to happen. It's still needs to be hit. So hopefully she's able to have go ahead all right. Let's take some calls Hi Brandon Beckett my name Kali agenda calling from London Polka. I'm calling about Justin Bieber's lime disease. I and the way that you covered it. I someone he went through the exact same chain of events Johnston Contracting Monet which compromises. You're mean to them and then getting bitten by kick and subsequently being more vulnerable to contracting line. These from that tick bite. I I can tell you this show or that. It's a very real diagnosis. I emphasize the only some people are skeptical about it. But you'll obeyed fortunate to have such a big platform to inform and provide the correct intonation show listeners and I wish that you taking the time to see that any regulatory body any medical regulatory body around the world and the CDC in the US to the NHL here in London nine to these is category quickly recognized. Nice as real. The issue is the the real lack of understanding about the disease because they're not funding the testing very pool and in in artem born. I'm glad she called. And just was advocating for what she has. And what and what others have and I think it's important for her to share her story. oreo educate others. So thank you for calling them. Okay I hyper I on the question. I just wanted to comment that. I really like your videos. Paul I really like you guys booker your video on.

"Internationally can't send that overseas to china no. I actually think that one of the things about may simply yokich is one of the guys that they are preparing for. Mason plumlee could be left on this roster just for the serbia game where he could potentially go up against his teammate with nuggets foul fouled. They really only have one point guard. I mean donovan. Mitchell is a combo guards. If you cut dirk white i mean yeah you cut derek whyte you really we have one. That's why darren fox not going was a blow to them. <hes> i really think that that's something that i was going to have a breakout tournament and maybe the best player on the team by being around this team training camp. I felt like the fox was really into this like he was. He wasn't just to go through the motions. He was there to do it. That said derek. Eric white is an incredible story. This is a guy who was in the g. league for most of his rookie season. He comes into the n._b._a. Last year and gets a lot of playing time because to john murray got now because of all these guys withdrawing and injuries you know kyle lowry had to withdraw because of injury here he is he might the on the national team and we're talking about a guy who was drafted again in the backout from the first round and barely got in the n._b._a. Good player and he can shoot. He can defend he can handle the ball. He's not a bad player. Hop can't bring his guy all all that way and then send him on that lonely flight back home. He can't cut a spur. As last i come on now that makes it awkward for others but i have to say give derek whyte this. He is a type of player that works international basketball 'cause he's sly you know these euro-guards who you know fine little edges and corners and hook guys and you know throw elbows with kind of player derek whyte is international basketball may soon enough. They not being all certainly during the n._b._a. But i think i think pop appreciates it but this just in at the buzzer courtesy of mcmahon j._j. Beret who's recovering from a ruptured achilles. Kili suffered in january has mr mcmahon signed a one year veteran deal with the mavs which is two and a half million bucks not bad and who is your source on that <hes> jose jose juan barea warriors senior junior was just born a few weeks ago yeah so he expects declared in training camp <hes> what is giving brigham back give the old maths well look. He was playing the best basketball of his career before he got hurt but really beret is so valuable for the the locker room for the for the culture and he is <hes>. It's probably a one bet that luca danni has the best relationship with and you know they feedlots porzingas. What about the he can still hopefully hopefully he comes back strong from the achilles if he can get back to close to where he was before you know he can still blabs legend j._j. Burial absolutely he's he's the best five foot four player mavericks history yeah. He's a good addition to for the in state rival with the rockets because russell westbrook does not well russell. Westbrook is a lot of guys mr. I russell westbrook. <hes> doesn't like very much but yeah but thanks to tim and rice for joining me today. The jump is back tomorrow the same time on e._s._p._n. Two you and tonight. We're gonna hit the town with mcmahon wearing that jacket who knows what's going to happen..

"I it's fun to watch and so the last year and <hes> you know for cuban recall on those guys to show up. Hey jason tatum mavericks legend. They wanna show up his jet mavericks sledge with the with the tattoo shawn stevenson who it was two shots another game yet his <hes>. The urn fox has withdrawn his name from consideration for team u._s._a. And for the fiba world cup sources told yahoo's kris haines. That fox wants to focus on getting the kings for the play offs. Which is the new spend time with your family royce you by teheran's reasoning here. I mean it's it's the it's the cop out reasoning. It's the thing that you can say. That's the least controversial for just not wanting to play for team u._s._a. Right now which is pretty trendy thing thing to do but it. It really hurts stimulus brian. I thought for sure he was going to make this roster and i will say you know white has risen up the ranks here. <hes> you know trae young in had an infection was one of the reasons why he left team u._s._a. But he also saw fox and derek whyte get promoted in front of him. I don't know if during fox thought he was in jeopardy of not giving the last spot and having to go to australia and come back home was down to him and they're quite i would've kept hearing fox but yeah hearing fox's someplace for popovich off of it has not that i think that papa would do something that wasn't based solely those as game better but knows what he could do and what you could add to the team. He's getting ready for the play offs sacremento kings have they made the playoffs new era lifetime sacramento well as we mentioned team u._s._a. Is now in australia australia with a thirteen man roster. <hes> popovich and his staff need to cut one to twelve in the next week or so. We also talked about dirk why he's probably the biggest surprise to have made it race. Who do you expect to be the final cut from team u._s._a. It's it's one of those things brian when you talk about international teams you kind of you. Break it down in a way that it is different than your traditional n._b._a. Roster you don't necessarily shy away from having six or seven guards on your team or however you wanna look at it. I think joe harrison's a likely cut <hes> you want shooting in. I don't think they cut him rice because i think he's a he's just in there to bust zones he maybe mason them so to me. I don't know how you feel feel about this tim so i i called mason plumlee sentence so i think the real question is you keep the extra point guard derek whyte or do you keep the extra center and mason plumlee or do you keep deep both and then look at one of those other forwards to cut. I think kyle kuzma potential beyond the bubble just not necessary because what he's done but because they really wanna keep keep joe harris also harrison barnes has just been okay but kuzina and again not because of him but just because they want to keep that extra big and the extra point there. I think they need to cut kuzina the fat hairstyle. I mean that is jason kidd blond off after one job where you're not have that representing winning the u._s._a..

"Com was released today always interesting here's how they voted for their favorite chris player in the n._b._a. Ziya r._j. Rice are you surprised that steph curry look at this these surprise steph curry nowhere the way to think devon booker makes a top five. That's that's almost more curry not i. I don't know if i'm more surprised that steph didn't make it or the devon booker did make it. The list itself is not all that shocking you know. Some of these guys are legends that these guys grew up watching lebron in durant. We forget kevin durant in his thirty. S and these guys watched him play their thirteen fourteen years old but i it's surprising that you know as popular steph curry is especially with younger generations. These guys are the younger generation right so they watched a win lebron seventeenth year so these kids were you guys. Were like these one thousand nine hundred dollars for two or three when he came in. They grew up on the bronze. That's not surprised to have number for one but yeah steph sort of sort of supposed to january the generation that steph energize yeah. I feel like if you poll kids in that age group group non m._b._a. Players that steps going to be one or two so i. I am surprised not to see him. You know must be boys rookies or something mike that votes. This is kind of an ongoing trend though that we see in current n._b._a. Players when you talk about kind of the disrespect of steph curry's it seems like it's just kind of uncalled on cool for his peers to liken respect the point and as a basketball player and so. I bet if you would've taken this poll with these guys. Last year brian. I bet steph curry would have been in their top five but now that the n._b._a. Players it's almost like it's uncalled to say that stuff's one of your favorites definitely cool for reasons. I can't explain next up. Here's how the rookies voted for who they expect to win rookie of the year. We're not really surprising him. Who's your bet on. I mean i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that arguably the best prospect since the bronze product to win rookie of the year while bowl the market down august man tape you say i don't blame you for saying that but i don't. He's not going to be the focal point of their team whereas r._j. Bear will be the focal point of the knicks. The knicks aren't going to be a good team and john. Moran will be a focal point of the of the grizzlies so i. I don't know if zion's going to have the numbers. I i'm pretty sure designs going to catch a enough lobster..

"To save mcmahon team that will get you a nice little tenth or eleven seed the western cops say they're kind of no man's land. Chris paul will be motivated to play well because what he wants to play somewhere else in order for him to get to. That's somewhere else. He's got to restore his reputation both on and off the floor and stay healthy. He's got to stay healthy so if he for for impressive he's got a price tag right now for chris paul and for that price tag you could get hit chris. Paul's got a hold up his into the deal in play well to get there. What do you think that i think it's the first round pick yeah. I mean to me. It's whether chris paul is created as a toxic asset because if you're negotiating with the with the thunder your rockets had to give us two first round picks to take geico because he's an extension of the westbrook trae what you get for chris paul's by virtue of what you're still getting professor are going to sell so what they're going to try to. I mean tim. Tim spent plenty of time around chris paul <music>. I've heard you say that you expect them to be motivated to play for the reason you just said he obviously knows the business as well as anybody and he understands that he he has to play well and stay healthy to be considered a guy that that contenders would want to target in the trade market. I tell you what to get a first first round. Pick for chris paul. If sam prestige can trade him without giving up a pig. I'll be impressed and look. It's not because chris. Paul can't play. He is still bill. I mean usually i think the thunder or more likely to just hold onto chris paul than they are to give up a pick to get rid of him. I that's kind of where they sit right now is they don't have to trade the guy now they could get a disgruntled chris paul which might not be good for other young rebuilding team but i think it's important to note that the thunder are not rebuilding yet they. I have not gotten to that face. They're still tearing the house down there. Only two like they've got the roof off. They haven't got down to the foundation so chris paul's one of those situations brian where i think that you no with a lot of players the older they are the the contract doesn't look as bad when you start shaving years off of it so chris paul may kind of an odd way. You have more trade value next summer once this year gets taken off and he doesn't have so much gear. Here's what executives expect to happen. They expect the thunder to put out a message message that we're not looking to trade chris paul. We won them here. We want him as a part of our unionists or young guys because they don't want anybody to think that they're panic trying to them and they want to hope hope that somebody has something happened where they need chris paul so like today like tim. Could you even see anybody in the market right now. Who's like. I think i might want to call about chris. Paul wants it. Didn't it didn't happen with miami then. It was very difficult to kind of envision. Okay where is a potential destination for him. I this though does guilt alexander who is the best asset in terms of player on the roster right now does he benefit from playing with chris paul kind of being around him or does getting chris paul being their stunt his development because to me. I want to hand the reins to alexander and let's have the future of the franchise. Which is you know. Get that on the job training of being responsible for running that don't forget they still have dennis schroder on the team. I feel like that's going to be something that you're going to be watching very closely. I can see you. I can see us talking about that a lot in the coming months awesome but coming up now we'll discuss how the loss of demarcus cousins impacts lakers this season anthony davis into play more center and we know he doesn't want to play center and during the break checkout with the jump recommends today but e._s._p._n. "That's one not going to be as competitive and also not as exciting. I think that's something else. People took for granted russell westbrook. Oh my gosh an exciting player every ridiculous. There's something to write about something to talk about. Paul george had maybe the best year career last. Let's boy. This is not going to be as an exciting team and i i think that's going to be an adjustment ellery and you know it's really a task for a small market family. It's like you said when they first got there. There was a novelty the of having an m._b._a. Franchise the excitement on that and then they had these two dynamic really entertaining young stars plus james harden so they kaime. I'm very early on that it team kind of the team with all the buzz and then a decade of being you know some level of contender. This is the first first real test for kind of the the passion and enthusiasm of that fan base but the good thing though roy says you know there's not a whole lot to do in oklahoma oklahoma city outside of going to thunder game not untrue because i mean it is a growing city. Make heffer like yeah you get lake hefner. He got breath. Sorry yeah brick township. I wanna say this. You know sam made those great traits and the list of assets that he has acquired is terrific perfect. I mean just look at here is the list right there but two things. I'm going to say about this number one even though the trade was historically amazing it's getting the players. That's the hard part constrain the players away. I can do not as well as sam but i can do. Their thing is and you guys have toured touched on this. The twenty twenty four first round draft pick won't be in the box score. You know this is one of the things that old school basketball executives say how many points of cap space scorelines and so this frame is going to be what the thought i mean this the thunder might as well put this on the cover their media teams to right. Yeah i mean can you you wanna hang that as a banner in the arena. We won the paul george trade with all the i mean that's it doesn't win you basket. What's workshop that that might not be the worst idea in the world. Well thunder are going to have a very different. Look this season expectations. We much difference. We said <hes> but the team has an exciting future because the works impressed he did with those traits but don't forget chris paul. He still represents hope for this current teams. They don't. They're not gonna stink voice breath. What expectations do you have for c. P. three and okay see i like that c. P. three and okay <hes> diffidence very perfect by the way. It seems like everybody has to repeat every time chris. Paul comes up. Did you know he started his career but i think that the organization itself bryant feels like they can be pretty indecent and the question is how good do they want to be in. How long do they want to be a good thing because you look at the team on paper chris paul danilo gallinari stephen adams turns ferguson dennis schreuder. There's a equality team they're going to be they're going to win games especially thirty five to forty one team. There could be a in the conversation for a playoff spot in in mid march. I think at some point if every healthy.

"I'm impressed with the strength flat on the back out of aggression yana strap twenty with a variety of dunks drives and jumpers but greece came up short against serbia team that was missing nikolay yokich royce fair for greece to expect even more from your honest. They lost not going to have to right. I mean there's not a whole lot of let's call it talent on that roster. I would say what the international three point line. It almost feels feasible that janas could dunk from that the international three point line you honest far away from you control down to three pointers that what you're saying he wants to do from behind the line. It's technically mickley at three yeah but the thing about it is greece will be an issue for the u._s. They could potentially play in the second round. It's only a forty minute game well. They have the tournament well. That's the thing now in all of our sort of mature lifetime so mcmahon. You're not quite there yet. This is new territory for u._s._a. Basketball the top. Two players in this tournament are not team u._s._a. You've got janas with greece and <hes> nicole yokich. They finished first and fourth respectfully in the m._v._p. Voting this season as an timofey cross paths in the world cup. Who is the bigger threat to say it. Serbia just based on obviously yokich is a star with they have a lot more legitimate legitimate n._b._a. Caliber town on that serbian roster <hes> whereas with greece. It's the honor show yeah so yesterday. Bogdonovich bogged down by twenty eight points against greek yesterday have milosz theodosius. Who's one of the most experienced guards in europe playing for serbia complete team on yeah. Abobo does forgetful both don't forget the fear the boba. They're very confident. You know we talked on the hoop. Collective a couple of weeks ago brian and we were kind of comparing this usa team to the two thousand ten or twelve two thousand ten twenty ten team that went to turkey in the big difference. There is is team u._s._a. Had the best player in the tournament and by a considerable amount in k. my at several that right they definitely had the best player in the tournament in really kevin durant own that tournament and in some ways that was kind of as a breakout in terms of the international scene for kevin durant and and that's not the case in the term but what greece may have the best player i. It's not hard to convince me to the best team overall. I don't know if the best team but they have the most chemistry. You know they're not forced together. They've been playing for a long time and you know. Greece does have nicholas who was an m._b._a. Level guard for a long longtime rick pitino patino did say he's the best passer he's ever seen. He was just coaching greece this last season. I don't know if you take that at face <hes> but came up late this compla- <hes> he's not going to be afraid frade kit and i can't us enough. These are forty minute games so it's kind of like an n._c._a._a. Tournament game you run hot shooting team over the shorter of the game the more of of margin for air or less margin fair team u._s._a. Is going to have they're gonna have to play well and they're going to have to avoid that forty five point in thirty eight minute. Janas performance that we know is within him because there's only in the n._b._a. Can stop them so we know. There's nobody in team u._s._a. You can stop them as long as team u._s._a. Doesn't run up against you know that just anderson percents <hes> john jenkins lead practice squad. I think yeah but brian's right you do run the risk in any of these games because the three point line is closer and players can shoot. I mean these. These are professional basketball players when they may not be n._b._a. Players they are professional basketball players and if you're gonna do a team that hits twelve threes he's on you especially team..

"Grizzlies. It's always dangerous to wait brian. Is you know because a lot of things can change a player's offers opportunities that they get in so a window of opportunity may close very quickly and it feels very predetermined that the lakers are going to get andre iguodala. That's all we've all summer thinking. That's what i'm the thing is i think that might be a better chance he's across the hallway staples center and and so that's what i'm saying is that if you want to get him you have to kind of seize that opportunity when it's there it and so it it is a certain risk to just sit there and just hold a roster spot opened say it's reserved for this player because that player could go to four or five different other teams. It's it's not the los angeles lakers and everybody would be great for them but i just don't know if that's where he's going to go and look. The lakers aren't going unbroken anytime soon. They can afford to swallow guaranteed contracts boogie honest with you. I'm sorry to say it but they may have to get the roster spot yeah so i. I don't think they need to keep a spot open if they can get him. You know they can create a roster spot like that. I don't think that franchise is gonna go under financial anytime soon. Well it'll be interesting to watch but coming up next next who is the bigger threat to tina say at the world cup janas in greece or yokich and serbia. We'll show you highlights of their game. It was awesome. Also discussing this hardened shot is going to become the next signature move in the n._b._a. He locked right here on the jumps at a travel. It looks like a travel but it's not it is brought to you by skill. We'll taste the rainbow rhythm going down some awesome mislead and speaking of james harden miss mechanics. Here's james harden working on just one legged corner three pointer him the shades dirk. Is this the next signature move that pardons bringing to the n._b._a. This is not the first time we've seen this this summer on on on instagram and look if he can knock down a one legged step back report on a consistent basis as the step back the two seats enough of a weapon that is absolutely ridiculous and unblock. There'll morris's the better score than michael jordan was he likes to take. Maybe he's prepping for that. Yeah yeah well. I don't know about that. That's that's pretty good. I liked that one leg right grimshaw. Oh i love that <hes> so all right we'll be watching this becomes time for october. We'll see we'll see can get away with that. Make surprises look kawhi leonard out on the golf. Course i look at the hair. That's an admiral. That's what it's all about no more for more braids royce. Are you surprised to see kawai golfing or more surprised with that hairstyle. The hairstyle man in swindon looked to that either but let's a west coast. Look right there. Eh you let you let the hair down you get out on the golf. Course i mean i'm i'm sure that was probably like a solid one hundred twenty yard drive. Maybe i don't lower body wasn't exactly quiet. There was a little bit of a analyze swing i want the hair is awesome and it was time for <hes>..

"I don't think his impact justifies kind of the circus. That will come along with him. No not so quietly was pretty good memphis. The last is month and a half or two months that he that he spent in memphis last year so he he was very honest. It didn't go well for him in new york in part because he's too lit as he put it right l._a. Ah tim that look you bring dwight howard an even if he is a reformed man and he wants to change his career and everything is going to be different this time there's going to be baggage and and i think that this lakers roster. The last thing they really need is more distraction the more baggage because it's already going to be a certain it's already going to be crazy with what's going on within their locker room with what's going on just in los angeles entirely with what the clippers did so to kind of refocus it and keep it about the basketball roster. I think no is a much better fit both on the floor and i think the lakers would be insane to bring dwight howard. Let's just put aside the fact that he's repeatedly had issues within the locker room and with his last few teams i mean this guy has been on about six teams in the last three years. You might not even remember until we said that. The grizzlies had to give permission he was on the grizzlies because they traded for him from the from the wizards a few months ago <hes> not only that but even show kim noah the lakers need a live body audie at this and i don't mean live like a live i mean like who can give them at an advantage minutes could give them energy right like they do not need a guy joachim know who may not be vehicle to play in a back to back or may not be able to play three games in five days or something like that. They have dwight howard. Who's constantly on the verge. We're saying neither. I'm saying stay. Stay away from these guys. I mean look. I've seen this before with these lebron teams that get formed superheroes. I saw at miami. I saw it in cleveland. We even saw it with the lakers last year birdman when you're saying well bergman and working out about eight guys at dinner with all due respect to the erick dampier gases joma gloria what i love you guys but it was over and we i just saw last year who the lakers have to go out and get in the first month tyson chandler. I mean i understand that you have a big name in it excites fans and and but you know the veterans want to respect the guy coming in the door but forget about these old guys all due respect. You've got to go get a young guy who can get up and down the court. Complain complain minutes there even if he struggles i'd rather have a lie athletic struggle guy the guy that you have to manage and if yes me the lakers have their sights setting on the wrong grizzly here not just white or joke him. Noah was a grisly last year. What about andre iguodala. He's a grisly until he reaches a by with memphis. The lakers just have have to wait and hold that final roster spot for him <hes> with this injury voice and the fact that they're full. Can they afford to wait on. Iwo dalit getting adding extra. Take extricated from the grizzlies..

"Postseason. You didn't get the reward for going to the wars in terms of titles especially after fighting back just to play. He had a good game two in the files. He helped them win a finals game he he was contributing and then he let him that's why a lot of last season was about bryant was kind of restoration of reputation and he he was kind of well on his way to doing that before he hurt his squad and and all kind of fell apart from but i think you're right tim this is much about a mental comeback as in mouse when you've left money on the table and now you have to go back into the rehabilitation process all over again that tough to really kind of motivate yourself especially as you go into your thirties and <hes> and that's the thing about this is that we rarely see guys get hurt in summer workouts. I mean they play these runs and there's an question but it's it's just scary about and also the the league has gone away from center. He was already fighting. An uphill battle is probably harder for a senator to get a job in the n._b._a. Today than it's been in the last thirty years and now he's got at injuries so it's difficult it's not just about. Where were these for bogus career. It's also about the lakers roster. Let's not forget about that either voice. Is this a big loss to the lakers as they look forward to the seat. I think it's a significant loss. <hes> he's somebody i if we look at the that roster holistically brian. It's a pretty thin in group overall say that they had they had to trade basically half of it to get the player that they wanted and and so there's gonna be a lot of <hes> lot put on lebron undergoing a lot put on anthony davis. It's probably gonna require somewhat of a positional change for anthony davis. Oh i think in terms of the eighty two game schedule load management time management enjoyment however they want to handle this. It's a pretty big loss. I don't know how much they would have gotten out of demarcus cousins but just to have that type of player that you could conceivably rely upon for sixteen and ten on any given night to not have that anymore makes makes them look a lot thinner than they already were. I really don't know if bogey at this point is guy who necessarily israeli moves the needle in terms of impact obviously now they've got minutes if they're going to have to soak up and we can talk about <hes> the centers that are on the market but i don't really don't think this is something that's going to really impact the lakers in terms of wins and losses yeah. I'm not sure it changes their horizon so to speak. I know there are some people really excited excited thinking that he was going to be their third star. I did not view it that way but i could. I could have been wrong. I think that this just changes the moves that they have the time him to make because you know the lakers don't have a lot of ammunition. They don't have things to trade. You wanted them to be able to use what little they had to add a player who could be <hes> you know a value added whereas now you're going to have to potentially find a guy who's going to have to be in your rotation and along those lines was reported over the weekend that the grizzlies have granted dwight howard representatives permission to speak with other teams and that might be interested in him <hes> in l._a. For sure <hes> sources told ramona shelburne one of the teams is the lakers took him. No his name was also floated arouse a possible replacement for boogie tim. These guys are good fit as a replacement for i think no it'd it'd be a much better fit than dwight howard simply because with noah you don't have to worry about a will. He embraced his role. He's a role player. He understands that you know and with dwight you know. This is what the eighth annual dwight howard out summer like. I'm only slightly exaggerating not exaggerate <hes> and so i just think with white. There's going to be a circus. There's going to be drama and at this point. I don't think his production especially we don't know is he. Healthy only played nine games last year..

He's made some some money but he hasn't been able. We get that giant career contract over those last two summers not before this injury. This is a devastating setback tim. Do you think he can recover from this. You know i i. I don't think that book is ever going to get back to being at that perennial all star level and right now. Obviously there's a huge challenge for him to get back physically. I think there's also a huge concern house. You're gonna handle this. Mentally you know to be a guy who's on the verge of signing amac's contract. You know felt like he was at a superstar level and just blow he did offer a nice contract by the pelicans and turn it down gambling on this summer had to more injuries yeah really yeah and this one did knock him out postseason..

"But funny enough the way this unfolded was much like you might imagine on the reality television series of the NBA. Apparently, the Brian James got the miscall per Joe Vardon of the. Athletic when he was out to dinner with Kevin love air. Both sipping wine the miscall comes through. I wonder what that's about. But these Cavs. They do the meant the kyri Irving that hiree is today because they could've used this maturity about a year ago. I looked at all of this in the way that it's going we car we look at the Celtics and be like, maybe you stack and all these young assets. Maybe you need a couple of grownups next. Name is boogie cousins, the man will debut as a warrior against the clippers tomorrow. And he shared some thoughts on his new squad with our friend Rachel Nichols. Let's listen. For the most hated team in sports. You know, they they hate Kevin. They hate me. Thing only really like Steph. Mayhem as well. Behaved jury mind. But I mean, it is what it is. Can I can't word? Do you agree with boogies evaluation? No, no. And maybe it's just because fresh in my mind is I remember that LeBron run through Miami. Those teams were hated. I don't have any memories of like deafening booze during intros because it warriors just on the strength of them being the warriors. No, I don't see that. But I do see this. If I'm DeMarcus cousins, of course, I think everybody hates me because they've been a whole lot of people throughout his whole public existence that are out of their way to say how much they hate him. But this seems to be a manufacturer is those adduced world. Okay, buddy. Yeah. There's some they hate us 'cause they ain't us New England phantom plagiarism that's going on. But the decision cannot be topped. Let's just keep that in mind. Nothing sparked a cultural war and ethical disagreement about loyalty, quite like that. So everything pales in comparison. But people seem to be serious at this team. If they are theories, in fact, because they they think that they ruin basketball. For them. Except we go through this every year where basketball is in fact, not ruined. In fact, it's still pretty dramatic infect the Houston Rockets can take this team to the brink. But when's the last time you heard anybody actually be furious about the warriors? Right. Was it a couple of weeks on Twitter during free agency? People don't hate this thing. They don't don't engender those sort of emotions out of people. They just don't they don't have the set of guys to do that. Kevin durant? I think he flunked his people. I think feels as people I think a lot of people all around think he's weak. But I don't think he generates a visceral reaction for people in a way to get to a point of being hate. We can't use dislike in hate his purpose substitute. Yeah. People like to clown on Kevin Durant. I think that is absolutely true. But speaking of visceral reaction someone who has had caused a number of them is Draymond green. And that guy has as what complement is people into crush. And there are people out of here dislike because they was raised. Right. You know, like in the end if you were raised properly that sort of behavior that you cannot indoors you cannot incurs. Here we go. Yeah. Yeah. I hate that. Yeah. Zuta day. Understandably somebody not hate that. That is that is the testable that is a horrific behavior. In fact, I can't believe a little back into league twice to Stephen Adams it from just about everybody in the league. Right. That's gotta dislike. Yes. But we own even hold that against the rest of the guys. I nobody hate Clave. Does anybody have idiom motions about Glades like people probably love clay more because he's a space cadet of people serving you love Steph. And by the way, the kids I don't know if the kids anywhere really do people don't even really hate him like that anymore. It's becoming like an anti hero. Well, if he's better than we think he might be hated soon enough of a home about away..
