"Miss Kevin. I'm gonna go with seven that zoo rebounding differential in the Spartans favor so far and this in this first half Six offensive rebounds a 33% offensive rebounding percentage for the Spartans. Michigan State 14 defense of rebounds to only one Purdue offense. Everyone's That's where Michigan State's really control the backboards on Lee four turnovers for Michigan State free throw shooting, Maybe the killer. He sealed the moment two out of six produce only attempted one free throw in this thing, and she's got the basketball with a deficit of a single point. Our dinner with the ball done. Many goes photos away. It is good and that my shoes back in front by 1 25 to 24. Henry was able to use the dribble penetration to get right into that B one g logo in the paint. That's his sweet spot as he finishes with the left hand, and he's got four of the time score for Michigan State. 25 24 Spartans won 13 to go first half Savana Bitch with the basketball dribbles off its foot. It's loose. There's diving bodies for the bonnet comes out now the hunter for the Boilermakers. Yeah, but are working on Hobart takes him down the lane. This group shots away off the glass, and it's in there. We gotta file. Yeah, Hunter is gonna get a chance for an and one play after he finishes that lay in. He was able to get into the paint through a couple Spartan torto, who reached for it and couldn't couldn't strip it free runners got six points so far in this game. He's a really good free throw shooter 90% on the year 36 out of 40 plays a lot of men's from Matt Painter nine plus games 19 to 30, plus minutes as the free throw is good now the Boilermakers leader by a deuce 27 25 under a minute to play in the first half. Hogarth brings it up breaks to the basket. Bank shots way. Wait. Too hard in the charge is gonna be called. I think on a J. Hogarth Hobart got a little too deep there has Gillis was able to step in to take the charge. Gillis awfully close to that block charge circle but ends up getting getting the charge calling. It turns back over to produce and that's first foul against Whole guard. So now we have rocket watch back in house. Was out there. Langford's out there hauls out there. And Gabe Brown. That's the five coach Mike finish with 49 years ago between now and half time, and I miss you trailing by a deuce 27 25. So here comes with the basketball J Deny before produced and he goes right. Have Langford and watched prices split up, man. We got a whistle. It's gonna be a fallen rocket watch Purdue trying to go fast there in order to get the two for one, and they're gonna I'm gonna get a chance at it. Send me the second. Fallon Rocket Watson. Now the Boilermakers shooting.

"That was an excellent throw. What a good route there to second touchdown pass of the day for O'Connell. On three extra point, Gallinger the kick is good, and it's a seven point game with 7 35 remaining so the Boilermakers That was quite a drive. They 25 yard screen passed over before that, on fourth and four, Horvath picked up Six yards down to the Wildcats. 26 O'Connell media time out, right? 14 yards for the touchdown. Beautiful throw beautiful catch for right his second touchdown of the year. On the Boilermakers within seven with 7 35 to go. Very similar to the cats opening drive in the ball game. They would 75 yards and 14 Samos. The cats did, and they used almost five on the clock. They had to convert a couple of host really critical fourth downs, too. We knew this was not going to be Anything but clothes, you know, and they really are. First it was 25 years ago. Had that this month that the Wildcats came down here in the final game of the season. And clinched the Big 10 championship by beating the Boilermakers in the final game of the regular season. That's right Senior day here. And completed an eight and Oh Big 10 campaign. Now they're trying to get to four ido. Leading 27 20 with 7 35 remaining. It's gonna be pretty important to the cats. Do not put the brakes on their offense. They've got to come out. With 7.5 to go. You just can't always so go dormant. You've gotta use the entire playbook here because We're gonna be. If you're going to run the football, they're gonna put it in the box. You gotta be able to play actually gonna be able to throw the ball. Produce still with just nine yards rushing in the game. Wildcats held a 61 well below their average of over 200 yards rushing per ballgame. Not a characteristic game for them, but They're taking what the defense will give them And to this point, it's It's worked, okay? And the other point Ted is one producer has scored in this game. Wildcats have come right back and scored on the very next possession each time. Let's see if they could do that again. Challenger will be Kicking off. Work. McGowan back deep for the Wildcats, who lead by seven with 7 35 to go. Who has by the way, two timeouts left. The Wildcats have three.

"So the Boilermakers Union has endorsed me because I sat down on one of the great detail leadership exactly what I would do Well, it turns out that neither of those things is true. So, Joe first you lied about have been lying about your position on fracking. Now you're lying about an endorsement you didn't receive And this is consistent with Joe Biden. The fabulous Goodbye. Who makes things up to Dan Proft Show weeknights at night on 8 60 am the answer. Charlie Kirk show where Truth lives. Hey, everybody. Welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show. We are inundated with polling Seems like you can't turn on your TV or open up your smartphone any sort of new site without polls that show Donald Trump down Historically to Joe Biden. There is one polling firm, though that seems to think differently. With us right now is Robert Haley from the Trafalgar Group, Robert Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show. That is good to be here. So Robert, you accurately predicted Donald Trump's victory in 2016. I'll never forget I was going to the real clear politics, polling averages and the night before the election. You had Donald Trump up one point in Michigan. I'll never forget it and I looked through it and I looked at your cross tabs. And I said, I can see that, especially as you had the upper peninsula going heavily for Trump and I looked at some of the other competitive. Polling firms that we're not doing a lot of pulling their and you predicted 2016. What are you seeing right now? On the landscape? How is the president doing based on your polling and the methodology you have developed He's doing extremely well. What you have right now is a movement of a few key constituencies. One. The black community is absolutely moving the There's a lot of the boat that you were. Photo is kind of hitting the people who are saying for whatever reason they're undecided. Are they fighting for third Party candidate or something? Well about 10 days ago that just stopped and all the undecided. Everything fell away across all the battleground state with the black vote and the black creamy. It's just gotten very much Those that were undecided and were unclear where they were going are all just lined up with Trump, and it's over 26% Michigan right now. You also have John James, who is an excellent candidate, where some of the other candidates for a little bit of a drag on the president. Not this about them, but they're incumbents, and you know it is hard for them to run As an outsider, Trump has managed to be an incumbent. Also Run isn outsider. But John James is an outsider and a business person liked from so they're mutually beneficial each other and you can't forget that. The key to both. Their victory is Gretchen Whitmer. If she could. She couldn't be any more popular. If she was just a pile of steaming. You knowwhat s O. It is very, very nice for them to have her providing the contrast what people can vote against. And, uh, so, especially with Baden, having at the debate kind of defined himself as the shutdown candidate, and Trump kind of defined himself is that we're gonna fight this thing and stay open candidate. And we're seeing things break that way. We're even seeing young people live that way now, but every indicator in Michigan is getting better. I want to talk about that. But first, can you just give us some idea of why your methodology is different because most of the other polling firms have a completely different analysis of what's happening in the race? What? What makes your way of doing polling different? We have a few could A few key differences First. We do not believe in long questionnaires. They're not. It's not. They think about have busy people on this modern world who's got time at seven o'clock to answer 25 questions. The number one question you get when you call a home in the evening, and you say it suppose How long is this going to take? And when the answer is it's going to take 15 minutes. It's going to take 20 minutes because they're 30 Questions 40 questions People just say no, thanks and you end up people who are too harsh in their positions on the right or the left being the one to take all these polls. We've got to get to the average person. The average person doesn't have time for all this nonsense. So we've got to get him in and out. Quick. We tell you're gonna be on less than three minutes six or seven questions. And you'll be done and we get average people participate. That's the first thing. Second, we minimize the social desirability bias, which is that bias that's based on people giving an answer that they think will Make them look best in the as of the person answering asking the question. First of the actual truth, you know the kind of the politeness Andi don't want to create an awkward moment. And quite often, they feel like saying that Trump will create that awkward moment where they'll be judged for I don't know what that's a real hole in my spine is going through some type. Whatever. So we do We do a mix of different way to participate most of which are digital in addition to those last calls, and we work very hard to give them a real sense of anonymity. Cause the more anonymous someone is the more honest they are. Most. These polls are literally the last person saying they know exactly who they are, and that's the worst way to pole. Last. We learned in 2016 that you need to pull audience of people that don't usually get cold. And so we've developed criteria for low propensity voters. We think our life could participate in this election. As we did in 16, and so we're pulling a little bit different likely, but our universe actually said this would last but one more because we believe in lots of samples. The 600 sample. That's ridiculous. Every state 1000 samples. No exceptions is get you below 300. Maybe 3% margin very much the time. And it's just a more effective way to do it and That kind of number. Any kind of over sampled any small arrow that you could make it. Any poll are minimized. And so that makes us very different industry standard. And we don't mind being different. So the industry standard is it a lot of phone polling? Is it the same type of pool of people they speak to? Can you just walk us through? What is palling mean today and I have a lot of specific questions, but Our audience is just curious..

And Laurie's parents. Agree to unannounced visits to ensure that child abuse is not occurring. It is it is yeah so Laurie obviously is still getting into fights with her mother and one involves a Ouija board so So Laurie had gone over to a friend. Hope Rupees House and their father had bought them. We do board and Laura's mother finds out and she just flies off the handle. The devils were And she demands that the board is burnt and the that hopes houses exercised so by the time. Lorries fifteen she's super rebelling and she's becoming fascinated with the Ecole and she pretends to be possessed by the spirit of Deanna. The Vampire to impress her friends which is like a spin off of buffy. The vampire yeah. Just a little Russell Wilson. So she also asserts self harming especially when she starts dating a girl in Nineteen ninety-one who also self harmed when her parents find out that that she's self harming they check into a hospital which is in and out of a couple times and eventually she's diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and she confesses that she had been experiencing hallucinations and Choosey. Young Child She dropped out of high school in September nineteen ninety-one and she starts staying with friends and she eventually meets Melinda loveless in Nineteen ninety-one. Which is the Gal from the previous story? Too Young Ladies with very twisted pass Yes sir. Paths Pass Pass Pass. Paas D. P. A. S. cheap path half very twisted path. When you say a word so much meaning So now we're going to tell you about hope rookie. So hope in Arabi is born in Madison Indiana in June of Nineteen seventy-six. Her father is an engineer at a power plant and her parents divorced in February of Nineteen eighty-four and she moved with her mother and siblings to Michigan and then over the next couple of years. She claims that her life is turbulent and with your family until the parents get back together and they moved back to Madison where she's reunited with her friends. Laurie Tackett from earlier in Tony Lawrence. Which we'll talk about in a second by age fifteen hope also starts to self harm so now we're going to tell you about Tony Lawrence. What is the story? I know I'm just telling you telling me. The plot of the movie the craft we is that with. What's her face the witches the witches Neve Campbell's in it from scream and rose McGowan craft magic something with? Yeah it's all the teenage girls. And they start playing around with witchcraft. Where she goes like this here turns a different color. I don't know if I've seen that. Oh you'd like it. I like magic. You love this weird teenage movie until you about Tony Lawrence Tony. Lauren's is born in Madison Indiana in February of Nineteen seventy-six Her father is a boilermaker I WANNA say I'm annoyed but I'm impressed. Isn't that amazing? Her father's profession ties into what we are drinking today. On this episode. Hate it Do you WanNa know what a boiler makers what's a boilermaker dre okay so. Boiling Acre is a trade on a beer. But you don't drop it. Maybe he did Boilermaker is a trades person who fabricate steel iron or copper into boilers intended to hold hot gas or liquid as well as maintains and repairs boilers in Boiler Systems Hill. Yeah unbelievable I'll take five hundred Sometimes we have competitions You definitely one this one. Did he win? Yeah yeah I I think again. We haven't heard my story yet. Yeah I think I'M GONNA win on story okay. I'm only halfway through twisted into crazy. But your tie one hundred percent beats mine. Yay Parrot. Look to here okay. So back to the story so Tony Becomes close friends with Hopi when they're young Tony good name hope. Rubio Yeah Tony is sexually abused by a relative at age. Nine in his right by teenage boy at age fourteen but instead of arresting him or charging him with anything the police are only able to issue an order to keep the boy away from Tony. She starts going to counseling but eventually she stops. She also starts to self-harm attempts to take her life in the eighth grade so sad. All this is everything you've said so I just so Yucky and sad it's GonNa get a lot worse unfortunately okay so in one thousand nine hundred Melinda loveless Whose father is a name is familiar. Insane Melinda loveless. Yeah something loveless for movie learn. No Oh Jacqueline your mother. I've been that way. Isn't that like famous like deep throat? Yeah yeah that's her name. Isn't it something loveless? That kind of sounds familiar. I think that's what the tires isn't there Dr Loveless in a movie. I don't know Larry if you know what we're gonNA pass okay so in one thousand nine hundred Melinda loveless whose fathers insane the Larry Guy. He's crazy meets and begins dating. Amanda Heaven who we haven't talked about yet. Melinda at this point is very depressed. And she's in counseling and she's finding lot at school In March of Nineteen ninety-one Melinda tells her mother that she's lesbian which isn't received well at all by her family but eventually her mom accepts it in the fall of Nineteen Ninety Melinda and met Amanda. Start to grow apart in Melinda starts to blame Shonda who we heard from the very first story these names or char so Amanda in Shonda. They had met earlier in the school year in they had gotten into this big fight however while in detention they sort of have like a breakfast club moment and they become friends. I think that's gone But Melinda immediately becomes jealous that they have bonded. Yeah so early in October. Shonda in Amanda go to No I touched it Shonda Amanda go to a school dance together and Melinda confronts them at the dance and she's like what is. Why are you here with my girlfriend's Rommel some Melissa Melendez like I'm going to make Amanda Jealous and she starts dating an older girl but all the while she's still super jealous of Amanda Shonda dating and she starts nonchalantly talking about killing Shonda? What and she says while she starts to threaten her publicly. She's like f you Blah Blah Blah for taking my like my girlfriend and impressive that they're all like out dating each other like that early in the ninety S. That's kind of impressive. Yeah so Shawna's getting harassed so much that our parents are like this is a really bad situation pre. Let's take you out of this. And they transferred her to a Catholic school in Nova late November in Shonda and Amanda like starts slowly drifting apart. Because you know they're not the same school anymore and they can't hang out at lunch. Yeah but Melinda and Amanda never get back together so cheers so many name swirling. But I'm kind of getting the just okay perfect on January tenth of Nineteen ninety-two. You have Tony. Who Sixteen hope who sixteen and Laurie? Who's seventeen and they're all driving in one car from Madison Indiana to New Albany and they're going to Melinda's house and she's seventeen at this point and the idea is what is happening? And what is the group of girls travelling in the car? Thank up Melinda is just at her house and she's like Y'all should come over to my house. Let's all hang out. How come in so Melinda and Laurie knew each other so she's like Lori come on over reinvent And so she brings Tony and hope with her and they're like we're going to go to this girl's house talk forever away. Y'All seventeen it's fine drive. They're sixteen seventeen and Tony Laurie or meeting Melinda for the first time and so the Melinda's and they're just kind of hanging out and Melinda shows them a knife and she tells them all about Shonda and how she hates her and that she's going to scare Shonda with the knife to Chanda. Nfl Two different school She's at a Catholic school. In at this point hope and Tony and Lori have never met Shonda in by the way Shawn is twelve years old. What yeah okay. She's like between twelve and thirteen so they draw. Yeah in this scenario. Her parents read the situation correctly. Yes sir like we need to get our daughter away from whatever people she's mixed up with Yeah so they drive to Shawna's house which is in Jeffersonville which is fifteen minutes away and they get their right as it's getting dark in Melinda has hope and Tony Okay. I'm mad about the what's seventeen-year-old care. How a seventeen year old? Who's been through years and years? Yeah it's probably not at the equivalent mindset of a seventeen year old with all the sexual abuse that she went through I'm guessing that her mindset is back around twelve or thirteen if not earlier depending on what trauma happened you know. Yeah no excuse for what's coming correct but but you can hear you were explaining. It isn't excusing it. Yeah so Melinda has hoping Tony who've never met Shawna sixteen year old girls. Yeah but all of them from the ball has thrown. Okay so yeah. That's I told you about. All the girls backstory. It makes sense now. I got lost but I it makes sense so Melinda has hoping Tony who have never met Shonda before I go up to her front door. Knock on the door and Shawna comes to the door and they're like hey we're friends with your girlfriend. Amanda and she really wants to see you she. She really misses you and she wants you to meet her at this place called the witch's Castle. And you should. You should come with us. Push on like my. My parents are still wake. Come back later around midnight and I'll be able to sneak out in so Melinda is sort of pissed off but she finds we'll we'll get we'll get her later and so they all get back on the car and they go to Punk rock concert nearby in hope and Tony meet up with some guys there and they all hookup and lawyers car and so they finish at her house so they finish about the concert and they head back to. Sean Does House and on the way there Melinda keeps talking about how she can't wait to kill Shonda but at the crazy isn't that crazy but at the same time she keeps talking about how attractive she thinks Shonda is and how she wants to have sex with her and how she actually just going to scare Shonda and not kill her.

"These two teams mad about two weeks ago plus and they a lot I wanted pretty handily pulling the Boilermakers to thirty seven points in a sixty three thirty seven went over at State Farm center in Champaign the game which saw the Boilermakers missed their first ten shots of the game they shot twenty five percent but that has been their story they surely I've played so well at home where they are tonight here in Mackey arena not so well on the road and that's why the Boilermakers are about a five hundred C. or just over five hundred ten eighty just under five hundred in the big ten at three and four Illinois is a one four straight and they are seven three with their current starting lineup the same five guys it'll likely go tonight but they are five into in conference play thirteen and five overall and now right twenty first in the latest Associated Press full free exam your this Brian Barnhart is here Doug all murder will be here in a moment and bond is here as well as we join you for finding a lot I basketball here tonight in what should be a hard fought battle between the Alaina in the more the makers of the voters don't lose their very many times they won fifteen straight conference games in this building this year they've defeated two ranked teams in this building defending national champion Virginia they blow out by twenty nine then they hammered Michigan state the Big Ten Conference leader by twenty nine so they are the poster child for what and all blues on the road in the big sand but tonight they are home here to host the Illini Illinois coming off a win over northwestern seventy five seventy one the defense giving up more points than they have in recent games but the offense was good for the Illini including trend Frazier who reached the one thousand point mark Georgie swinging right side too soon raise your right side fifty of the line I with one thousand all time in the history of the outstanding aligned I program he also hit from long range of that game from way out against the cat and later on the line are there weren't many runs in a game with the Wildcats would there was finally a run with the a little ice variety of players in the game against the Wildcats got going Elaine police police police George five players in double figures in the game trend Frasier going over the thousand marquee at sixteen he was four of seven from three point territory I would assume fifteen points in sixty six Georgia Machon Israeli who heard it that three at thirteen points and four rebounds the covert at twelve point seven rebounds Andres Felice with ten points in the Illini way and brand Underwood talks and a thousand points quite an accomplishment in and you know to do it is you know really in the first two and a half years of your career speaks volumes to his it is our program as a freshman and and and and as was awful and he's he's he's become a great all around player just agrees for now and that's what's exciting we see that he's and he shot a million falls asleep and I mean it's great to see him get rewarded the ball going in and you need eleven points going down to a thousand and you know he's still got a year and a half left and I love her and I love his personality his demeanor and his status as well when and its says he's a he's a problem line I dug all murders here he's a proud allies to trade razor it that thousand point mark and he's been scored a little more lately we've we need him to score he's focused on defense and shutting down the other team's best score but we need to score two and when you play that type of defense it takes a lot on the offense of late but he is he I seems finally be on the same page and it's cool to see those guys in Iraq now is sort of feed off each other open spot and you know trance is ages does so many things is leadership Hassel taken up those charges he just does a lot of things and he's he's metamorphosis into a complete player where as we saw in his freshman year you know he was pretty much a one dimensional player in a sense of story but he he is really developed into a complete the template the Illini in games or a week apart had to win the Rutgers game with defense really shot with a shot under thirty but had to shoot better they did against northwestern would give up more points than they have recently due to northwestern having some outstanding shot so it's kind of winning both ways that's the one cool thing to see this team really starting to grow up and mature and and that's that's the key to find different ways to win and and when you get out on the court you've got improvise you've got to stick to the details as as coach talks about but there's different types to win a game like Wisconsin you know we just we we hit big shots in the second half it's a big three pointers and then do we outrebounded them so we're finding ways in different ways you guys are filling in to win different types of games five players in double figures for the Illini coach under would pleased with his team's balance off as of late Trent was incredible early on the store early on Georgie we knew he would some opportunities right against him last year and you know I thought we missed over you for five times we had angles in the first half and you know I I and kind of the first miss Roger's really good right and in one night or and didn't make a you know it's nice to have I was yeah about us you know see this fall and a lot of winners of four in a row and they are now to number twenty one of the most recent Associated Press poll twenty two in the coaches poll for do is ten and eight they lost in Maryland seventeen Frank Terrapins meet fifty seven fifty other service let the game early fourteen to to and it's seven threes early in the game of death battle their way back into it for the makers of gone one into sensing the Illini a couple of weeks ago they beat Michigan state seventy one forty two mac you a lost a couple of overtime game at Michigan so what's a produce trying to re adjust themselves a little bit they've they've tweak things some we'll see who starts tonight but harms was coming off the bench they're going more through treaty on Williams it appears he's our go to guy and we we just can't allow him to to dominate because I don't think he will but you know he he everything flows through him but you know they look they start a lot of.

Thirty five years somebody's. Droughts gonna come to a close here tonight. This is what Virginia's defense does to you. As a team remember produce started out eight of fourteen from the field seven of ten from the fruit from the three point line to over the last thirteen minutes of this game. Do now golfed on five of seventeen from the field in one of eleven from behind the arc. They made the geniune maintains consistency on the defense of don't change. They continue to chip away. And his Tony Bennett says over forty minutes, they're gonna wear you down out of a time out with two free throws hits the first now makes the second detail. Good game for him. He's got twelve Virginia lead is seven. Fourteen thirty two left on the left wing. It's Aaron Wheeler Purdue up top too harsh harms tried to dump it inside pass deflected. But it gets the eastern that he finds a cutting went up the Slavic, he got fouled. Boy Wheeler the freshman from Stamford, Connecticut, rare that right arm back and hit the back of the rim side slam, but it got fouled by Akita on his way. That was a great foul by the Akita. He wasn't necessarily trying to follow. He was going up the block the shot. But as he swung at basketball he missed, but then hit Wheeler across the arm which caused him to miss sixty two percent thousand shooter Wheeler misses the first. So right now. Tony Bennett the head. It's a sold out crowd here at the KFC center. Louisville guy between the circles with the basketball. He's hit three threes in the second half. He gives it off to Jerome with the right elbow Jerome robes inside. Fades away from twelve feet rolls around the rim. No good. The what a tap by the right, Hannity Hombre hotter. Between two Purdue Boilermakers. He was just quicker off the ground is able to get the right hand up did not get in off the glass Virginia's biggest lead forty five thirty seven thirteen forty five eighty Edwards. He'll just launch a deep. That was six feet behind the yard sprayed on the basket. And that books were due back within five at forty five to forty hours Edwards. I point to the second half these nights eight here comes the crowd back to life. Potter chest pass over the drought. He'll take it three right wing. That's god. That silences the crowd forty eight to forty Cavaliers. This is when now things are starting to catch up for Regina. They're starting to answer. What Purdue is doing on the other end of the floor. The offense has caught up to the. Just one. They are back to back Snapple junior back with it a hand handful. Matt painter starts yelling at Carson Edward because he wants to him to pick up in the Tiffany. On the end of the floor Edwards has twenty to produce forty three forty five hundred eighty Virginia with Jerome dribbling on the left wing. Takes it up top over the hotter. Hotter steps in eighteen hundred on the way. No, good ball batted out average annual keep it. I think it was bad it out by Jack salt. He couldn't get a hand on it. But he pats it out. Ginny gets the start set. The shock overhead Connor bounces down inside of the Akita patient. He goes to his left shoulder fade away. Seven footer. No good tap in. No by the aforementioned, Jack salt. Why he has had his imprint all over this game fifty to forty three Virginia. No, Jack salt, the big man goes up with both hands as the ball rolls off the left side. He extends left paw to knocks it down Edwards. Three. The one before fifty to forty six four. The dude is going to have to extend their defense way path three point line talk about each three. He didn't farther farther back big ten leading score in his whole guy on the other end. "Shit Nasc line. He's been the hero to crossover dribbles eight to shoot, he drives. He steps back fade away. Little Pat Bennett char and did hit me with your best shot, courtesy a Westwood One. Ryan climbed goes for twenty seven Purdue holds off Tennessee over time. They'll take on Virginia this weekend for chance to go to Minneapolis Purdue made fifteen three pointers last night in that win. They made sixteen three pointers against villanovan. The previous game they are the first team and NCWA tournament history to make fifteen or more threes in back to back games. And it made me wonder last night when I saw these numbers the Boilermakers thirty one three pointers over two games tied for the second. Most by any team in back to back games in tournament history. The only team in front of them the nineteen ninety Loyola Marymount team that had thirty two. And I was wondering what that loyal the Marymount team would be doing this year in college basketball. The fact that they were doing what they were doing. And they were so far ahead of everybody. You know, Paul Westhead with that team in what they were doing. Me back then we were going. Oh, you can't win that way. They're going to give you two for their three. And that's what they were going to do bull exchange. Your two for our three. We're confident enough that we can shoot those threes. And I can't imagine what Loyola Marymount if they were playing today where everybody's allowed to shoot three. We're okay with the three the coaching philosophy is take the three and that was a fun team to watch.

"Five to the Purdue Boilermakers pronounced twelve and six on the season five and two in the big ten that's the most important statistic in their from their perspective because they keep that run going now where they really played their best basketball of the season here in the last seven ball games of the season, Indiana, this contest today falls to twelve and six three and four now below five hundred in big ten play on a four game losing streak. It's going to be tough to bounce back from that, especially considering who Indiana steel has left here in this very tough run here at the beginning of the big ten year. Yeah. It's a good league. Who he is a really competitive league really talented teams big strong physical teams really good coaching in this league. Purdue did a nice job today. Die defensively. Indiana. Did some nice things? I thought Carson Edwards, although he scored twenty points really had to work for his twenty points. He took. Eighteen shots today. Ten three point attempts. I mean, that's just good defense. I think for Indiana, you know, he's gonna get his points. He's a primary driver of this Purdue offense defensively Zach Roberts and Al Durham did some nice things guardian Carson Edwards, but just some of the breakdowns. I think in that second half when Indiana's trying to fight back into this game was able to get some slips to the basket from their bigs. Matt harms was able to score double figures today. He's a guy that doesn't normally score much eastern was able to score. I think in double figures, let me look at that. Yeah. He had all points in the first half of his points in the in the first half. He did some nice things when Carson Edwards wasn't scoring a bunch eastern really stepped in just balanced scoring from this team moving forward. I think it's going to be important for Indiana continued to try to get balanced scoring against these teams. Then a really good defensively against these officials that are gonna let teams play very physical basketball to have multiple guys that can step up and make shots is going to be really important for Indiana to figure out. Durham did some nice things today for Indian off the bench. I think Al had eight points today onto of five shooting. He is a guy throughout this season has shown that he has really stepped up his confidence in his jump shot. He's done some nice things. Now, we gotta get some more consistency. I think from the bench, and now might be that guy that comes in and makes big time shots for Indiana. But across the board, I think to have balanced scoring more than just a couple of guys feel comfortable taking tough shots and really stepping up and making them when gains get tied. I think's going to be more and more important for this Indiana team. How did you think this Indiana ballclub handle the atmosphere here today? I thought Indiana responded pretty well in that first half. I mean, this is a team in Purdue that jumped off to a to a big lead early, and it's easy to shrink in that moment. And I think Indiana responded Whitewell in the first half actually took a three point lead in that first half the trouble here is is in the big ten especially on the road. It's a forty minute battle. And I thought Purdue had the edge in that second half in Indiana was not able to cut down that seven point deficit at halftime. Once you get down double digits here at Macarena, not many teams that come back to fight back, and that type of deficit coach Miller's comments are brought to you by the friendly guys at Royal on the east side Archie, first of all, I know disappointment in that locker room your basketball team falls today to Purdue your thoughts on this. Credit? They made things very hard on us. We knew that was the case. There are very good offense team that executes their stuff. And I staff defense was pretty good. We did a good job rebounded thought. We challenged a lot of tough threes, and we're able to get them, and we're able to hang in the game and Foulon really killed us. You know, it really killed us early in the game. It continued at the end of the half way. Hurt us in the second half when the marches continued to grow and then go give them credit. He'll Carson Edwards is a terrific player. He got going a little bit climb made a couple, and when they make threes there are different team or guys for the most part, I figured last ten eight minutes continued to battle dig in the end of the day. You know, we felt like we could be a lot better as we keep moving forward. But it's deflating when you can't hit free throws Foulon was really really destructive to the to the margin as the game continued to go, and you know, obviously shooting the ball and here wasn't very well today. For us. We gotta get back to work coach, you know, you said this earlier this year, but shooting free throws is contagious. Whether it's one way or the other whether you're making them today, a contagion the wrong word was everybody on wasn't just one guy. Cow got going there a little bit. Maybe the second half made a couple of floors. We couldn't we couldn't get a free throws deal going down there. Go sixteen for sixteen at Maryland. Shooting them a little bit better here recently. But today's today wasn't day behind the line. And you know, we didn't play at our best Romeo. Didn't have one of his obviously bodily worst game of his his young college career. But you're eventually going to go through some of these ups and downs as you go, and you gotta be able to do it as a team, you know, for us. We're just trying to stay with it. We're trying to battle competitively. We played more guys tonight. But we're just not good enough right now in the little things offense. And we're going to have to be able to start to fix some of those problems. One of the bright spots had to be Justin Smith's performance. Well, Justin was good. He played thirty seven minutes. He battled hard defensively. He ends up getting fifteen and six they're all effort related plays in without question. You know, he did a nice job in the game for us Jawad again, fourteen and six today at five assists in this ball game and three steals everywhere. You know, played a ton of minutes, they make things very very difficult on him. Just to catch the ball in the paint. There was a lot of bodies in there. So it wasn't like he had a lot of room to operate. But I thought he did his part for the most part. Yeah. He's gotta come up a little better at Powell line, which which he'll do. Which he'll do next game out. But we need him to stay with it in his leadership. He's a quarter. What we're doing? He obviously impacts the game in a big way. Coach got a quick turnaround. Again you play northwestern on Tuesday. Yep. There's no time to really salt know, we've got to get on this road as fast as we can get these guys back. We gotta start preparing for team that we've already had a hard fought game with in clearly going to their place won't be easy. Coach thanks for joining us on the post game show here..
