"To get started today. While we were both in South Florida last week, coincidentally, but I just basically stayed on the beach, you actually did a little bit of work. And went to UM and saw Mario Cristobal, what's going on there? Well, a lot of big plans for rapid improvement of facilities. So I think they're going to have put shovels in the ground for a new football building very soon. Much needed. You know what? The stuff they have now is so much nicer than it was. They have an indoor, which I've had for a little while now, but it was part of the old green tree practice fields. And there's a lot of stuff that has been upgraded there. You know, it was just, there was a lot of energy in the building. I got to see, you know, it was still a little crazy to see, I saw Josh gaddis. Obviously, I saw crystal ball. I saw Joe. The one that I, you know, you do a double take was I'm sitting in the lounge and here comes Charlie strong. And it's just like, just to see people out of context. You know, like in terms of what you're used to seeing. And you know, he's there, Kevin Steele there. It's a, it is a strong staff. I expect before too long, they will probably end up adding Alonzo highsmith in a capacity and personnel, which is obviously a huge name for Miami fans. And so I think a lot of that has resonated really well. I think they're still going to have to be very active in the portal because there's still a lot of there's still some holes in the roster, but again, it's relative compared to what they're going up against in the ACC. I mean, beyond Clemson, I think NC states got a really good team coming back, but after that, I think it's not like they're playing in the SEC. So it was interesting, like Mario has got a lot of stuff going on. And I think they are very, you know, he's all about not all about, but he is so he is neck deep and recruiting all the time. And you get that feeling when he's just kind of, you know, I think one of they have like an hour recruiting meeting every day. Well, coincidentally, while we've been on the podcast, my Manny Navarro our great Miami writer, just published a new story, a night of recruiting with Mario first of all. Miami coach speaks at Lakeland Lake Gibson home to 5 star cornerback hermani McLean. It's basically a night shadowing him on the recruiting trail. So if you're a UM fan, you're definitely going to want to read that story on the athletic. I just remember thinking, so I hadn't, you know, when we cover the orange bowl or national championship games there in that stadium, everything's in Fort Lauderdale. You never really you're not in Miami proper. Unless you draw unless you happen to have to drive with Dennis dod and then you may have. By accident. No, he does not have the best you don't want to be in the car necessarily with. You're referring, are you still referring? Is this like, do you have a more recent example of that? Are you still talking about that Virginia tech, Boise state game? No, that was no, I actually had a he was driving me back from a media day. I think it was Clemson, Oklahoma, and it was amazing where do you remember the Big Ben parliament European vacation? That's what it was like trying to get Dennis to drive out of the, you know, out of the parking lot of the stadium. I was like, oh my God, we're gonna die. It's just like, because we keep going around in circles like he can not figure out how to get out of the complex. But the time you're talking about was Matt Hayes the fourth person in the car. Yes. We ended up in like three or four different states. Yeah, we were trying to get to FedEx field and I think we ended up in Virginia at one point. I remember seeing seeing science for things that are definitely not in the right direction of the football stadium. Anyway, so yeah, we stayed at a hotel on south beach, and I got a 6 year old. We weren't like the clevelander, like we were in the party section of south beach necessarily. The south beach is pretty vibrant throughout. And I'm looking around one night we're walking at dinner and it's just like, you know, it's a really exciting vibe. And it would be especially exciting if you're a 18, 19 year old kid. And I remember thinking, man, Mario first of all is able to convince 5 star kids to come to Eugene Oregon. He should clean up here. Like he is such a good recruiter and he has this to offer. So, and like you said, a conference that is not exactly daunting. So I expect them to be very successful very quickly. I don't know if that will be this year. You can never really, you always have to temper expectations for year one with I mean, he's there for a reason. They weren't very good. But I would think by the second year and certainly by the time he starts getting in his own recruits, I've got a lot of optimism there. The one thing that I think bodes well, in addition to some of those others, which just from the talking to a couple of the coaches last Thursday was, it seems like the buy in from the guys they inherited has been very good. And sometimes that doesn't everybody say that though. Every new coach say that. It's true, but it's like, I think there's a shock to the system element, like I just remembered when Louisville took over, it was like a lot of players were desperate and wanted the change because obviously the combing from Bobby petrino was such a dark environment, but I think some of it was like, how ready are the players physically to jump into this? And I think so some of that, I think, has been promising. So we'll see. As a roster from my understanding, it's like, there's three good three talented tight ends. Van Dyck, obviously, had an excellent freshman year. And I think they're optimistic about him. And then there's some other gaps in the roster that I think they really still need to address. Let's do some emails. As always, send your questions to the audible pod at Gmail dot com. The first question is from not that far away from me. Michael galvin in Agora hills, California. We have all heard the story about Nick Saban sending his plane to east Lansing only for none of his assistants to board. This is back when he was taking over at LSU. We all know what happened to Sabin, but what happened to the assistance to any fine success and have you ever asked any if they regretted it? I love it. Yeah, I love this question so much. I immediately did the research. No, I have not asked any of any former anyway. That story, as far as we know, is true, what we, in general, I don't know, but I don't know that we can say that any certainty that every assistant had an offer waiting for him at all issue, but there's enough, there's enough truth there that we're just going to go ahead and go down this list, okay? And in general, what you're going to find is a couple of guys did really well and then most of them not so much. So Bobby Williams took over as inter coach before the bowl game that year for Michigan state and they won the bowl game and he got the head coaching job. So I think we could say, even though that his tenure did not go well, you know, he got a head coaching job out of it, so good for him. The O.C. on that staff was Morris watts. Who himself would end up becoming an interim coach when Bobby Williams got fired. He was a Mississippi state for a little bit, then a bunch of Mac schools, most recent evidence I could find was he was at Texas southern..

"And this is the Cincinnati Reds pregame show presented by your Cincinnati Northern Kentucky. Honda dealers. I'm Dave are Brewster Despite the loss last night, it was a big night for Joey Votto, who collected career R B number 1000. And he did it by hitting a home run in the bottom of the third. He met with the media earlier today and was asked if he remembered R B I number one. Mm, First one was the home run off of John Mayne. In my rookie year. And seven or my, my initial call up. And, um, that was cool. You know, I was I was in a kind of a grumpy frame of mind because I felt like I should have been in the league years before that, you know, I remember as an 18 year old in the Gulf Coast League. Um Hitting well and like Starting to figure out how to hit professionally and one of the coaches. Bobby Williams. Say, What are your goals and I said to be in the major leagues next year, and he was like No, seriously. What are your goals and in my head? I was like Oh, no, dude, I really I'll figure this out really quickly. Um, obviously, that didn't happen, but not terribly long. After that. I felt like I was ready offensively. And, um, you know, at first base defensively, I was fine. I had a reputation for not being, um, very good. But my early career numbers showed otherwise. I was I was a good defender, Um So I was grumpy when I first came up, so I wasn't in a very good mood When I, uh got to my first start by. It was like it's about darn time so And now I'm just I'm very happy to be here. Joey, If you're just looking at your number's the home run milestone this year in the RV milestone, it puts you up there with reds, who are in the Hall of Fame, the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Do you ever allow yourself to think about that? What that might be like if that could happen for you of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. I spend most of my time thinking about I I mean, Whether I'm making a minimum or or or a big number, salary wise, I've spent all my time thinking about or most of my time thinking about How can I be competitive? As long as I have an opportunity to to play and so I would really like, you know, I was. I've been very fortunate to see some Clearly, excellent players play well to the very, very ended their career. Um Where they opted not to play anymore. You know, I'm talking about Adrian Beltre talking about Torii Hunter I'm talking about, Um, you know, David Ortiz. These are players that decided, you know. Chipper Jones. I've had enough. Derek Jeter. That's good, you know? And, um Those are the those are the players. I admire the most. Because I know that one day I won't be good enough to play baseball anymore. But As long as I have an opportunity to I want to keep fighting and I look up to those players, among others. And try to emulate that, and that's what gives me the greatest. Um, joy, and that is my current challenge. Some.

Bitcoin is trading today in the $32,000 range well off its recent highs, but more to the point down 8% or so from just yesterday. Perhaps probably most likely because the Department of Justice announced yesterday it has done something never before done in the fight against ransom, where they traced and got back some of the ransom the colonial pipeline paid. I don't know if it'll be Michelle herself, but Oh, boy, what? Looks like I might get one. Hey, Michelle. How are you were great. Is Jared and Katie in the morning? Good morning. Good morning. We're so glad you are on because Jason's gonna use as a way to get out of this bet he's trying to find any way to get all this but what she does for everybody, not just a huge bed like a tattoo. Yeah, that's true. This is no different than the pain Matt for his lunches, so we'll get that later. Yeah, it's just another day and said he tried to get out to get any way way diagrams. We had a huge bet over the election, Um and Jason Goodman said if Trump Loses, I'll get a buying tattoo interns, quitter said. If Biden loses, I'll get a trump tattoo. And that was the deal and it's pretty straightforward. We decided that what 23 months ago. I mean, really right. We've been talking about it for November. We've been talking about it for a while. Now, that was the deal. So on a non inauguration day, Jason Goodman live in studio I'll get a permanent Biden tattoo and in turn square did who won? The bet will be able to watch and laugh and take pictures and video filming? Very busy? Yes. So we have Michelle on because we have or Jason, I know has some questions, and we may have some questions about Tattoo process and placement Iceman and what you recommend that you know that I do have a couple questions because you know, this is probably the first time where instead of a strategy in tattoo I want a simple test could do extravagant tattoos, Right? Like the most simplest possible you have Now, let me ask you a question, though, Because I was I've been going through my mind of where to get the tattoo, and I don't want it to be seen at the same time. The same time. So I started thinking about my buttocks. My first question is, Do you do tattoos on buttocks? Unfortunately, we do pretty much tattoos on everywhere. So we've pretty much tattooed everywhere, Toes, fingers, But my but it's more about topics money, but is a little bit squishy. I noticed in the back Like a lot of people. There's more patting, patting cushion. So my fear is that It's going to hurt more on the butt in the back. I don't want it on the back. But I feel is like it's gonna hurt less in the back. How much If my butt is a little bit squishy? Would it hurt compared to the back? It's gonna hurt like any other part of your body that but is not eating kind of different. Usually, What hurts more is the Parts of the body that don't have a lot of meat. Um, anything close to a bones. Um, you know things like that, Like the rib cage Heart. Um, pretty bad. Some people say it doesn't but usually for my Experience the foot. You know what I'm saying? Okay, So what I'm saying the bag like that makes sense. Not a meteor there right on the boat on those tend to be a little bit more painful. Um, Some people have high pain tolerance. Some people have low pain tolerance. I think that it just depends differently on every person because some people can Take tattoos like for instance, my sister just got a big piece on our leg That took you like eight hours. And she's after like a champ, But when she did permanent cosmetic, she was all swarming around, and I'm like Did you just didn't you? Tyler Michelle from an ecology, and Jason Bateman is going to pay off his bet. That he lost over the election on Inauguration Day to get eight Biden tattoo. How is your pain? Tolerance chase? Not good. It's love all right, actually. But let me ask one more time. So my back is like it's more muscle muscular my but seems to be more fattier. Was that gonna Is that with that created difference in pain. I think she's saying to get it on the bottom. Then they'd be less vital. I don't see how that because my back has more muscle, not fat. Yeah, It's not fat muscle and fatter, different, of course, Um The back in some areas that gets a little sensitive. Um the back is a lot of people get tattooed on their back, but they're starting to areas where you hit the bone or you get to the soldier. The shoulder blade that you know, people say all guys right there, you know, 19. But you know the fact the only thing that causes any kind of difference is the tattoo artist because when we're you know, working with those kind of areas It's harder for us to get clean, Um, starting and you know it. I'm saying it becomes a little bit harder on those areas to do. But, um, we just had somebody just not even two or three days ago. Women A lot of women get tattoos. Okay, so I just want my last question I think is going on. But I think so. Well, first of all, can we film that I don't want my entire but on Facebook live not gonna be exposed your whole but Yeah, because like, if you go and you have a bikini wax or something, there are ways to drape you so that your parts aren't exposed. It can't be draped so we don't see his butt crack. I mean, like, you know, you are not a lot of it. I mean, of course, we would put something over that. OK, Just focus on will be a man or a woman. Do you know who's gonna be? We don't people. We don't drive people over there. We'll just put a bib over there. Okay, That'll be fine. And you know, the tattoo artists he was wondering, Jason was wondering is gonna be a man or a woman. I want the most sensitive first person and drink every mother like. No, we can't wait over my way He would ask that you would Um, I want somebody sensitive. That cares about pain. No, it's going to be a male. His name is Bobby Williams. He's been tattooing for about 20 years. Good experience with 20 years experience. Make sure he knows I'm 20 years sensitive. So my question is. Do you have the black light tattoo? Jason? Do we have it? We don't. We don't. We don't. Have it anymore. It's like it was a big, huge thing about like, 10 years ago, But most people don't even get it anymore, So don't even happy. Yeah, that's a loophole. Yeah, it's a tattoo. It's a permitting and in the black light shows up, you can see it doesn't matter. It's still a permanent tattoo. That was not part of the deal. It's a tattoo that's permanent. You are so Jake Swinger parties. Everyone will see permanent tattoo if they don't do it so that e could purchase thing for her. Wouldn't Okay now we're not. Wow. It's a permanent.

Remember two years ago when Josh Gattis took over the offense And I said, I don't like the higher because I was trying to be negative because we play defense and we time of possession to spread open offense doesn't do that. Remember me, saying that to you on the air? He's giving the thumbs up. Yeah, he's giving it a thumbs up. I did some digging this past year with Josh. Get us wearing the offense. We were 124. In time of possession, 25 minutes and 37 seconds of game the year before that we were 77th in the nation 29 minutes 31 seconds Then before that, we were served the nation 34 minutes in 18 seconds and the year before that, 21st 31 minutes and 57 seconds. I think the offense had a lot to do with the demise of the defense. And then we were 16th in 2000 and 16. 33 minutes and two seconds again. I I just point out the fact I'm not here to debate anything. I'm just your ad and nobody figured took the discussion about what I see. I think I I see things just different. I'm sorry Did I do when I want to put it all up there, But I had that not giving back to Michigan basketball. I will say the inside outside game this fantastic And the more please. You put up the more successful hand because you shoot 33% from threes. It's like shooting 50% from two and 50% is a pretty darn good mark from the two point range. And in the last game, I remember I believe hearing that Michigan was in the top four and field goal efficiency from two point land. So There you go. You want a big man? He's got the stuff. But I have no complaints about John B Lines came, especially at the end. We've got two good basketball coaches, and I will say that you want to really improve the defense that I'm very proud to see that and I will see 11 thing. He's doing a heck of a job as your recruiter and I just, um I give the guy kudos. He's a man of mountain man. And we don't use doing a great job. But what say you, Dennis? Well, the one part about it. At first, You said you didn't like the, you know, have a debate. But then you said you did throw things up for discussion. And you know, it's all about, you know. Coming in, and you know, talking about the point is gone. What's up? I should be the basement. Settle down. Brown's gone Well, no, I mean, there's you know, there are other things you know they can go on. I think when you talk about the time of possession, like you want to be able to Run the ball in the fourth quarter. But really, you know, like having a quick strike offense. I mean, the name of the game is like trying to say like if you say the name of the game is Racking up points. Then it seems like you're ignoring the defensive side, which I don't want to do. I think it's you know, it's zah third a part of the game. It's a very important part of the game. But what you really need is you. You have to be able to put stress on the other team by getting points up on the board. Now, if you just want time of possession. You know you could run a triple after like Army. You could go like Wisconsin and just, you know, trying to be road graders. I think you want to be able to. You want to be able to gear it up in the air, and you want to be able to grind it out of the ground in the fourth quarter when you want to. I mean that to me, That's some some of that sound simplified, but You know, just talking about time of possession. It does protect the defense There. You do have a point there. All right. I need that comment to Jamie when they hired Josh Gattis. I have a different thing about that. Maybe one time When I see you. We cannot discuss it something to be discussed off the air, Not on the up, and I will say, I'm glad At least Michigan's gonna have a couple of swimming's, although I know nobody's gonna be able to swim. See it this year. I know they just swim in here there is to see a jet JJ. The parents will see it. The parents will get a chance to see their kids. Who cares about the parents? I want to see him. Listen, girl state, Notre Dame were top five and in time of possession this year, So you got that? I understand. I think Wisconsin was at the top of this. You are the person the years I looked up real quick, Correct. Maybe not this year because they weren't successful, but now they were number one. I gotta ask you a question, Jamie. One time you don't have your kid. I don't Marcus did one time actually go to a swim meet. I could go to a swim meet. Just let me know when they when they when they're participating, probably next year, But I like to go gentle. How state Because of how states really. On the way up. They got a really good coach. Indiana's past us a little bit because their coach is doing a good job. Not that my mom's not doing a good job. Just the Indiana coach Ray Loose is doing a heck of a job. He took that Dennis Dale guy from Minnesota who used to give her a band check fits and he brought him in there and barter. Think thing up on these bad loans are John B. I mean, Mike Bottom has done a miraculous job with that women's swim team. It's never been a better and the fact that he's coaching both. I gotta give them two thumbs up, Assist Commander keeper I know nobody cares about swimming. But for the two of you that deal, Mike Bottom deserves your respect. And you know what? We're very lucky to have a guy like him, and he's bringing back the U of M diving again. So it's a positive day today. Happy New Year, everybody and for my favorite guy that behind the glass could cook cool. Okay. Uh, 7349 and 18 50. Let's go to Mustafa. What's up, we stop for.

"Out of bounds here. The 40 yard line. Another of standing kick return by Chris Hudson goes for 35 yards and decent field possession. As Lawrence White makes the stop for Iowa State. Maybe try to make a right out of some of the wrongs that these special teams miscues for. For the Oregon Ducks. That was a great job he was trying to set up look like the called return was going to the left side of the field. But he saw an opportunity to go out the back door to the near side of the field and found in advantage. Got a big game 40 yard. Starting point is a big advantage for this offense, unopened down day for Bobby Williams, the special teams coach. A couple of special teams, Miss takes a couple of good runs as well. It is Anthony Brown. Still in a quarterback. He's got two in the back field from the 41. Brown has nothing. Now roll these chase to his right, just chucks it away. And that's really the experience of a guy like Anthony Brown. He saw nothing downfield and then casually out of the pocket, throws it out of bounds. Yeah, and it Z interesting. In the second half. We're finally starting to see the pass. Rush is both of these teams have talented pass rushers, its cave on Thibodeaux on the organ side and Jaquan Bailey and will McDonald from the Iowa State side first time we've called their names today, second down in 10 for the Ducks line of scrimmage is the 41 Yard Life. Shawn dollars in the backfield snapped a brown fires on the slant diving, incomplete for jail in red. Went down right at the 50 yard line, expects himself in the chest and said, should have caught that one. On the Joe Morehead offense on full display five receivers out into the route combinations three to the top side of the formation and to this side, lots of people moving in multiple different directions, and that time it was Jalen Red found the soft spot in between. The numbers in the hash quarterback throws an accurate ball, but he drops it. That's not gonna work. You've got to help your quarterback out, especially when you're behind. Organ, one of the better third down teams in the nation over to today, 3rd and 10 from the 41 snap to Brown pressure up the middle, dumps it off on the cross here and short of the first down about two yards shy was Johnny Johnson. Jake Hummel took him down at the 48 yard line, and it's fourth down and Anthony Brown look into the sideline sense. Let's go forward here. Let's go for it fourth down short. Behind. It looks like Mario Christa balls. Sending out couldn't tell you sending out somebody yet. Looks like all the offensive lineman shoved the shoulders dejected. They're sending out the painting changed his mind at the last minute Play clock now under 20 seconds. Mario Crystal Ball will send out the punter Tom Snee, the sophomore from Australia, his second part of the game, both coming here in the third quarter. 5.5 minutes to go in the third play clock is at five. Snee is ready waiting on the long staff. There it is back in his 40 yard line gets off a good kick from left to right. This is Milton over the shoulder Catch fair signal, and he catches it at the 11 yard line. It's upon a 41 yards and no return with 5 19 to go in the third quarter and Iowa State leading this 1 31 to 17 college football on ESPN Radio is brought to you by Navy Federal Credit Union proud to serve members of the armed Forces, D O D veterans and their families are members of the mission. Learn more at Navy, federal dot board Marquess Fisher and Ben Heart Sock with you and we had what it had 21 points for Iowa State in the second quarter alone. 21 3rd of the 31 points scored in the second much different story so far here in the third quarter. Both of these teams has found their pass rush and they're getting these quarterbacks offer their mark That last third down pressure that came from the Iowa State Cyclones brought pressure right up the heart of the defense. I think it was a shame young who came from his safety position when we talk about this John Haycock 335 defense. You've got three down linemen and then you can use any combination. Of linebackers and corner backs and safeties and nickel backs at any different angle, And it is very, very challenging for an offense to identify who's a part of your box. Who's in the protection? Who were the offensive lineman going to protect? Well, if you identify one of those linebackers or nickel backs as somebody that you're going to predict, but he's in the coverage. Then you're wasted that offensive lineman and another Russia from another spot If you misidentify can get there, and that's where I see Myung came right through the middle of that Oregon offensive line, forcing Anthony Brown to throw that ball short. Of the first down conversion. We've had a couple of chances to be in on conversations with John Hancock, the defensive coordinator in his fifth year with Iowa State, was the head coach at Youngstown State. In the early two thousands and other coaches from around the country of Headed into Ames just to get an idea of how the 335 really works. He kind of played coy. I think with us in our latest conversation, and it's not really that big deal. I don't know exactly how it works Great. He knows exactly how this thing works, and he's tuning it up well in Iowa state. Well, you can you want to have three safeties and then any combination of people coming from different points. It really, really stresses, especially at the collegiate level. It stresses the abilities of these offensive lines in these quarterbacks that have so many things to process. To identify. Okay, Who's my hot man? Not only am I thinking about the route combination of all right if this safety's here that I'm throwing to this side of the field effect cornerback is dropping here. That means I'm getting to my check down. It's The task of a quarterback is just so unbelievably hard. It's so hard so many apples so much information to pass to process and so when you add The complexion of the complexity of blitzing linebackers and safety and identifying who's hot and who have to read off of it is really, really a tough task for quarterbacks to execute. Our cast is your Ben Heart sock with you? We're getting ready to get back to action here with 5 19 to go in the third Iowa state leading Oregon, 31 to 17.

"To dig in the bag here. Not really much to pick it. We had a good life long drive last time. Off its looks a little bit of secret, now a little bit out of sorts 100 bonds this way way McCoy and ST Brown, the other Slovis sacked. They got him in the three and they won't let him get away any further than that. He's been brought down a couple of times so far in this game, and the Trojans will once again have to punt from their own end zone and Trojan offense. This Dr. Looking for Yeah. Just no one opened on that one of my kids looking to the left trying to find someone Pop open, drink blood. And look, maybe had space doesn't see him And he takes the sac on that one. So just too much toxin in the pocket. Get Happens, Life back and hold upon days got to pull the trigger on somewhere and that they're gonna die waiting at his own 49 greatness for the Trojans gets it away under heavy pressure might have been tipped. It takes an SC bounce to the 40 on the 41 is as far as it's going to go in. The Ducks have great field position again. They got a piece of that one. Greenfield might have got it. Was backed up. Griffis was all the way to the back of his own end zone. I just didn't have the time. Get rid of it, and he was lucky that one blocked out of the back of the end zone for a safety. Had a tux brought heat on that one on the punt. Sometimes you choose to return it there. The Ducks brings him heat. JJ Greenfield gets back there and is able to get his fingertips on it. Lucky enough, that Bank of it still gets it off. It gets kind of punches through his hands. So the church is kind of fortunate on that tip. But there and yet Oregon with another short field, their third they've scored on each of the first to this one. First intended the S C 41. Role. Di was emotion. Man catches out of the backfield sliding across the 35 down close near the 30 and he's got a first down 11 yard game. They've got to watch those backs coming out of the backfield. That's their bread and butter on this team and a good job blocking by their wide receivers, about three guys down the field on the left side, holding their blocks creates and ready for the Ducks. Intended the Trojan 30 Yard line and S C in danger of giving up that touchdown that they got back to get back in the game, and I don't want to go down to touch down to these guys. Too many times you run out of time. It's only the second quarter so far out of the pistol. I will get the handoff Die ducks, his head. Little guy 5 ft. 10 looks for a hole. There isn't much there, but he'll manage toe Waddle his way forward to about 27 for a three yard game. About their field goal kicking Well, they've had problems issue. Their original guy went one for four. So they traded Henry Catelyn, and he's gone two for two. But as long as 33 yards Yeah, special team has been working progress for the Ducks and far so if the judge and get into such situations, the Germans have been successful sports teams to the area that that could be a match. The churches with their special teams. Coach Bobby Williams was with Crystal ball, their head coach in Alabama for a bunch of years, die in motion into the backfield and comes out into the pattern throw over the middle. It's complete to the 20 down inside the 2016 yard line. Michael Pittman. And the first down for Oregon looks much easier for Oregon on offense that it does for USC. Yeah, have some rhythm there. Tyler check is running it Well, he's managing it. Well, the nice to do a time. Just find the guy delivered under some pressure there. Made the right correction in to pick up the first down to keep the change moving. 1st 10 at the 16 Trojans Need a break. Make something happen. Can they? Will they pistol again? Cyrus Habibi. Leaky O is the one back. Hold everything time out taken by the ducks. So with nine minutes 51 seconds left in the half, we'll take a break. Oregon Readyto take it in again to go up by two scores, but they haven't yet It's Oregon 14, USC seven on the Trojan football media network houses outside Billings Gonna catch him. He's in the town. He's in the five touchdown. Oh, man throws downfield. The ball is tipped into something. He's gonna store. He's scrambling Man open in the end zone..

"Yeah, it's a tough. Look. Yes Sky appears to remember her holding out tonight. So yeah for her even though the whole Chucky thing off this meal know. Yeah, that was bad. I did all of this just is not Pleasant is there going to be a theme next week other than just two people go elimination. Yeah, we just have regular dances down to be nice. Oh, but they are found it each have to do too. Yeah, it seems ambitious. But okay, I was was glad AJ and Cheryl made it through. I was pretty sure they were going to get the sympathy vote tonight because she had a she hit her head. It was all over social media that she had never had so but I I mean, I just I I enjoy him so much even though his dancing really not so great. But I just enjoy his personality and and the packages and stuff with him. So I don't know how much longer it's going to be either Bobby Bones of this season, maybe I mean just in terms of not necessarily likelihood of winning, but just yeah personality. Yes boss. That is true Trump. I mean he does have a voting base. I guess how many rabid Backstreet Boys fans are still out there didn't do Nick Carter any good. But am Nick Carter went pretty far though. Didn't he? I guess he did. I guess he did. Bobby Williams fans are motivated though. Sure, man. Has he thrown his support behind anyone? Yes. Well, he was singing the show today that he that he had Monaco's his pic again. I think as you'd watch the cheer series and so assumed that she had some dance training and she said insistent today that she did not so it's kind of sad notion that very night. She has a large. But she's got a day job to go do she'll be fine. Right? So anything the judges costumes got along pretty quick. Yeah, and it's it's very distracting. Like I just want to hear what you have to say. Sometimes I want to hear what you have to say. Yeah, Yeah not have they have the hair and makeup situation. Did you fast-forward through all those jokey little Halloween bits that they did throughout pretty much. Yeah. Yeah God. "Eighty nine so long time long time and love the guy he is a hall of fame coach and a really good dude and he has been very involved with his players during this pandemic and now with what's going on and I thought be great to get Tom's perspective as he deals with youth every day and he joins us now it's good morning how are you with all that is going on in our world what happened I'm probably healthier than I've ever been a fan of the peloton everyday for the bike outside you know my wife's boyfriends of September play live longer and you know other than that stuff you know I've been saddened by what's going on not only to the pandemic the social racial injustices that we're dealing with that so it's been a very there is a real time if you ask me and one that I'm not like everybody else I'm just disappointed in what do you tell your players about their role and helping to take our society to another level what do you tell them as their mentor you know I I I I instead of telling them I looked in the mirror to be honest with you when I looked in the mirror I said what what am I doing and all because I you know it's done as they say four hundred years that African American people are trying to move forward and you know and I don't I just come to the conclusion I was on a coaches call yesterday in the NE BC that that's why I don't just have to do a better job you know you it's hard to promote yourself you know Dick Kaplan goes and says I'm the greatest radio man in America no one's gonna take that for March if Tom Izzo says eight their captains when the best in America it has more value you knowing and I don't think we and then I say we as a white basketball coach maybe has done enough and so that's what I'm gonna look at there we got a lot of calls among some communities knowledge are the any of the scenes kinda get together have a great conversation because the Kanyama curry Frank Martin was was unbelievable yesterday so I'm trying to you know not only educate but this this time of are we gonna get a little better that's got a handle we've got to change it all in and and I I'd like to say that for me I'd like to drop a lot of the prefects is here now I'm an Italian American value now on this my wife's a Mexican American you know I'd like to get everybody to the Americans and that's kind of the the way I'm looking at it so did Mel Tucker is the second black football coach in Michigan state history I know he's been dealing with this with his team do you guys get together and say you know what how are we going to address our athletes together as an athletic department or is it basketballs here footballs there women's basketball's over there now you know basketball and football of course have to be tied at the hip you know it's been that way since I started here as a coach when Nick Saban was here and I went through the whole Bobby Williams and John L. Smith and then of course mark Dantonio and now Melvin awesome right lives a block from the pain we do he we just talked yes they were talking today about some of this and so I you know I I think you look at it and I'm gonna try to look at a normal year probably seventy five percent of my players are African American you know I I look at the house I live in the car you drive a sedan and a lot of people in that community to thank in a lot of ways and and I think Mel and I are talking you know how we can educate better but how we can really get people our own players to talk about it's like everybody's afraid you know people don't like to be uncomfortable you know people don't like you know there's a lot of people that run from some things and adversity in now and and I think you got a bill to stand up to adverse things stand with it and stand up to the uncomfortable conversation and do more on the and then maybe the preventative side instead of like we're working on now the crisis side then you started your statement the other day the last few days have been among my most difficult as a coach what has been the most difficult thing for you well because I don't I don't believe in and you know what we're we're doing in a way you know we're not standing out helping enough or not not call my players I've called them the last couple nights at some calls with a zoom call with the parents you know I mean we just have to do a better job and it's been difficult because I'm trying to salvage value we're kind of guy with my own staff looked on at the university of Colorado you have my players and it's been difficult because you know we don't know what everybody goes through ya ya used a term in cancer you know it's been so blessed that nobody in my immediate family enemy just my wife and kids but my even my you know all my aunts and uncles and address you issues with cancer and yet I'm on a lot of cancer committee that raised a lot of money for cancer because I want to do because I think eventually I know my chances are good of something happening and so on I look at it as a preventative way and I don't think we've looked at this the same way you know we we don't talk about things that are uncomfortable to talk about and sometimes and and even my players don't so it's just not knowing I don't like to not know some of the better job of getting even more educated listening a little better and seeing how I can help there was a coach I think it was my coach Moton who came out said too many white coaches are silent you are not silent you will never be a guy silent your statement was outstanding and well received when he says that that there's a lot of white coaches that haven't said anything yet they want to go into the inner cities and recruit African American players you are a white coach what is what what do you feel about that did you feel a responsibility to put that statement out raven said earlier David that responsibility I don't know just a just a Hey you know what I appreciate a lot of African American kids and families have done for me and I don't disagree with him I don't think we've done a good enough job you know are you know I I heard something that Shannon Sharpe said on TV the other day that was really good he said that you know you don't have these problems in the locker room did you bring in a million locker rooms both as a coach and as an intermediate guide and you know no coach would put up with racial issues in the locker room no coach would it if somebody is gay or lesbian you know you eat you look at your locker room thank you just look at your locker room as I've got to get all these guys together they're all from different areas we have some kids in Europe if some kids from the inner city we have some kids from the farm land you know we have all different kinds of kids but championship teams find a way to get them together maybe a country can learn from the locker room in the house and and I think we do a damn good job in our locker rooms you know whether it be a golf team of maybe eight or a football team of one hundred thirty the only way they're going to be successful as of everybody's striving and working towards a common goal I've seen anyway we're gonna be comma and a great country is if we all work on a common goal I mean I I go far as to say I hope we get to the point where Democrats and Republicans can be on the same page because you know what's going on now is this is criminal to be honest it's embarrassing how about the pandemic when this hits okay you're getting ready for you hope a run to a national title you've got a really good team the big ten tournaments pulled away from you I'm on the court at the Barclays getting ready to broadcast the Atlantic ten that's gone and all of it gone and you're a guy very involved with your players and now they're telling you send the kids home you can't be within you know six three nobody is going to be on campus so how did you handle all of that yet still stay active in their lives wow what a million dollar question that is David that day was one of the Saturdays you know I look at a guy like Cassius Winston return through so much with the lost his brother and was just starting to you know I can't get back to some normality in his life and cracks and better we were playing better I didn't think we had a team that could've made a run you know we're playing our best ball last six seven games even with a loss we're playing better and and then all of a sudden they you know we find out as well transaction declined products C. and out here at home and we were leaving at noon to go to Caroline taxes internet Miller started going down the Indian my double payments at a ten to twelve the terms can cancel Michigan rockers are warming up they're not going to play and I said well my god and then so kids Connor you know shower hung in there and and then all of a sudden I get a call at four from my presence at the end she is going to cancel and so I called him back for the car to get to him before the social media data and that was one of the sadder moments I've had as a coach you know just looking at seniors looking at kids in it was a you know it was a tough time and and then I. Greg my seniors into a separate room and talked to them yesterday I don't think I'm one of the column that there's going to be setbacks and disappointments in life and you know some are you gonna move forward and so was it was difficult now some forty letter was sent to them all right and you know I guess I learned Dave for a guy that's not a big Twitter guy not a big email guy I've learned zoom anyway I'm I'm pretty good at zoom right now and I assume inquires soon families when parents own records and just trying to stay in touch and especially this last week and a.

"There are none of those were Menem is the key you got to keep it rolling that's right okay Jane you take three days we'll see you tomorrow night Jerry thanks for the phone call presale seven three four not a tempo de all phone lines open give us a call if you want it over to the game we had nobody regions video you watch the game at all what you do in may hi George what is it games on ESPN two ESPN two out of people don't know that he and I don't like that hi what's wrong with him too you're going to do I got to see who's playing on one but I don't like being bumped into a man we should be on this but the game on ABC come on now your by itself may you get beat by it like that when I go put that ABC come on there now eight the a local channel ABC general could do that with a baby E. S. P. N. on ABC they do that all the time now they do I her comments still Mitchell has date with games on the regular ESPN yeah there is a gay I did there's again I don't know where the Michigan state game is that too because the Michigan state game as early too isn't it eight o'clock this is State at eight tonight so I got to figure out where that was seven three four nine they did give the let's go to robin Chelsea without rob Hey Jamie thanks so much always a great show I've got made the blue boxes brother may I just came out Kroger off maple road and guess who I ran into coach Jerry Hammond wow our own yet or the black and I've known that your man Evan seeing him at Saint Thomas your then of course maize and blue Mason blue and we were talking about you we were talking about these formation in the the old one back to the wall green well done he he I don't think that dear man when one of your thought I would love to talk to him and he took that it's about blocking and tackling yeah and I thought how many clients is minimal that man so the other but it's not that I'm not so small madam right now from that grew out of a man they're not invest in going to dominate on it tonight and I just wanna within the body a beautiful and god bless you all and thanks for the great show as always thank you for the phone call please thank you very much loved that band Jerry a little bit there you know I saw a couple weeks ago but you know I love the rubber for two with that little from bad it might our goal of that then I'm gonna get bloods I will choose a mate but again he will he just said it was so funny how again Jerry's pines I'd like you James Earl ray he's not biggest man no but again like he said he just got a mall Jack they'll be ready to run through a wall now then the rate we're playing Ohio state tonight does you matter that that on football but right my men arrive in Chelsea's all jacked up ready to go I get it eight eight he had me fired up we were about goes down that too he remembers everything do that the way that he remembers every day it blows my mind she is a sharp as a tack yep right I love that made me let makes me laugh about loud stuff reminds me of a lot of big and then go back into a job well you know what you are and not back yeah we got to remind them of that everyone if you Greg me up anyway always good to hear you know everybody's around out doing anything look and I've been thinking about this I know I've been thinkin about it anyway I'm telling you go with in the room this year there get take care your coaches because everybody's getting paid then go out and do a national search bring back bring bring wake up the echoes of whatever you want to call it that in order to do something and you know hi Lorenzo white India coach we're going on thank you crazy anymore John L. brown but no I agree I think they need Jamie you need to you need to take care of this media you need to take care of us immediately right you gotta get on it immediately got to get on a quick this is not a good position to be in right now no you're right and nobody expected this everybody's everybody's everybody staff is full everybody's pretty much you got you look as as measurement a from the Detroit news said you would you got signed season coming it you got to let the you got its signing day tomorrow and I know it's not a big thing I know it's not a big thing anymore but you got one of the best recruits are Georgia I mean now we've got to reconsider what he's going to do a lot of people that sign on the second day right there are a lot of the majority of people sign on the first one but there are plenty big name prospects that didn't sign yet so yeah it's curious Jim very curious no it's really curious to you dude this is got a crazy eighty eight eight unforeseen but like I said you got a yeah allows smoke alarms coming out easily you know what they say god allows smoke there's fire let me go let me go in the get inside Lansing and find out good afternoon good evening bed how were you good evening gentlemen what's going on there first of all that smoke you see and smell it's got to be a burning soul for right what are these plans what's your favorite the bird well the famous for bird and other things to what our regardless all I'd like to just sit on a few topics first of all the game tonight with arrival in in those people in the sample don't like that we call our our rival you always you know we don't play till Saturday I told me with a basketball you're not our main rival I don't like that look sure my prediction tonight is I'm concerned that task he's probably going to get some fall troll Walton all she sees that happen a Chrysler relatively often the the referees I don't know we don't get time with soul especially in Christchurch scenes all unlike other teams get at home when I interest for you Austin Davis I think is going to what continue his good solid play and yes I think it all depends if we can get hello Watson and Paul trouble as well did not I think potentially it is going to be a ten point gain otherwise I think it's going to be close and I look for a X. to continue his is amazing click all line as of late you are so the game clinching game at the free throw line by three okay all I don't interest rates could be high scoring but I think we're gonna have to get it out so that's my prediction for game night all the young men in the square so really what I care about is how if at all will affect coach our boss program I we have we've been recruiting any of those recruits that might say you know I would really wanted to play for a coach the Antonio all booked well well similar coach in his demeanor maybe not the single should all a maybe you could put the word out to Mister well ask him if if we have any ties those recruits there that running back at a Georgia you mention all I know we have please hold back to you but who knows maybe is good enough athlete he just slide into the secondary yourself something potentially like that well so that's really what I care about is how is the Antonio going we wore to affect it is short term George recruiting with national Slaney tomorrow end of the long term to if they bring in our duty back you all know doozy has a certain hatred Michigan he displayed it though he coached his defense against this can change when they play so I personally I'd rather see fickle come back all he's not he's not that worthless treatment which was not there Columbus all so really don't get my big concern is not so much about Michigan state although I'd like to speak with their program all I have all not this certainly strong but by apple and approved for all the issue teams they're not playing it I would prepare stating all I just I think it's best for our state if we add good genes and feel better for our economy everything of that nature but I'm just I think I prefer vehicle to coaching argues the who or even even this Mike trestle with pieces your brother yeah yeah Jim Tressel yeah I I would you mind if we can't be Jim Tressel let's be a little brother down for a few years left us a don't yeah go blue bags bed project a phone call seven three four nine engine fifty seven three four nine and they did fifty let's go to Howard in Ann Arbor what's up our or have been about the day well Hey you guys the way we all when you're cold I got to cover for you okay I will lift Donald mail or body what time it wasn't John L. Smith and Bobby Williams here before coming back don't call it a comeback yeah I was on help them out bringing them back that was that that that's a bad that's bad that's bad that's a bad deal with because I know it's bad members know when we'll get busted now do what we do is find a plan to hide coordinator somewhere a Christian example lemon does still have this in common though this is what we really are here but do you exactly do you get rid of his coaching staff to do you know that I mean mark J. Terrill yeah I mean they're going to stop I mean it that way I mean he's he's gonna put this coaching staff stock so my whole thing is why not in a room for one year and then come back and do a national search you're not you're probably right because what cold you want to come in and do what the coaches already left over here that was not very successful exactly three years so yeah you're right what I'll come with Joe bottle without Williams and I there we can bring them back I mean they were the worst I mean at the time the the I mean it look it made me happy because we beat him but I mean really if you if you're looking at it you don't need this to you don't need those guys women I mean those guys coming back and coach and a you know they didn't do a good job they didn't do a good job I know that's not one of them I know anyway tonight me Mr victory we got this simple three what about the old it is a little and I think that's good for this one all okay I I look I don't have a problem with that I believe they can win I believe that they should win but you're going to get to Ohio state I mean this is one of your arch rivals that in basketball eight and you I mean look Ohio state needs a win they need a win let's just say they need they need in the worst way worse than that that the order of maybe going to concede to because we need a way they're gonna come out and play right now they don't come out and play I'll give you everything they got expressly put the rivalry on top of that not just for the raspberry they got a weird we are now closed well I I feel like you our appreciate a phone call our global go blue we're gonna take a break our our phone lines are open Monday here from you what do you think it's gone take the Michigan to win this game tonight and of course we're talking about mark Dantonio leaving two weeks after he got four point three million but he did leave I don't know why this fertilization allegations me maybe the card is black well lawyer lawyer did find something well it's kind of suspicious.
