"Let's go, girl. Play your life. Give it up first. Women, come on. I heart country. With Amy Browne. In studio now, to Neil arts, and she's got her guitar with her. Okay, so you wrote somebody like that with two other women, Alison Cruz, and the tracks producer, Alex Klein, where did the inspiration for the story come from in the song? Well, I had just gone through the biggest breakup of my life. I had been with this guy for like 9 years. It was kind of crazy. I was like 15 years old. So it was like my first real breakup. I had written so many songs about it. I was tired of writing breakup songs. And I also feel like just throughout that process, it was so therapeutic that I got to the point where I was like, I'm ready to look for something new. And I just sat down with Alex and Allison and we were just talking about that and talking about what are some great relationships that we can look up to that would be the ideal guy. The ideal situation and we talked about our parents or grandparents, just great couples around us. Allison had just gotten married and I was like, just tell me everything. I want to know what I should be looking for. We went into this song talking about all the different ways that you can meet somebody in the different ways that it can end. But if it's something really special, you have to fight for it and make it worth it. If you do that, it's going to last forever. And I've seen that happen. My grandparents were married for like 65 years. I know that that's real, and that's what I wanted. And that's what I was looking for. Now this just popped in my head about the guy who wrote it about who you're with for 9 years. And you have this song on country radio going number one. Is he aware of this situation? It's about him, or he inspired it a little bit, at least the breakup bar. I mean, maybe the breakup part, he might know that, but I feel like it's more about the future guy. I actually did end up meeting somebody like two months after I wrote this song. I feel like I kind of manifested the person I was looking for. Love that. So when was the first time you got to play it for an audience after it went number one? It was actually here in Nashville, whisky jam, fun time, and I had never really played the song other than before the pandemic when it went number one. This was my first time playing it out in I got super emotional on stage. Everybody was singing along. And I had never ever experienced that before in my life. It's like a dream come true as an artist to be able to point the microphone out of the crowd and be like, sing along and they know every word and it was really special. That was something that I feel like I've dreamed about my entire life. Well, I'm going to have you play it now so people can sing along in their cars if they're listening right now or at home if they're streaming us or whatever. So let's play it. Here's ten Neil arts performing her number one song, somebody like that on women of I heart country. I've seen pickup lines and eyeballs strange or slow dance I've seen happy hour two for one's turn to one last dance. I've seen neon revenge and late night Jonathan. I've seen that center real fairytale go up in cigarettes smoke. I've seen two hearts bet it all and still end up broke the real thing won't be easy yeah my second wife but I want that all the following keep the fire burning like the first time feeling no matter what if I'm gonna love I'm gonna love somebody like that kind of open arms this forever and we'll never ever say get back if I'm gonna love I'm gonna love somebody like that. I'll be doing the show. Don't worry I'm the day..

"Okay. Hey, who's the craziest person in your family? That's the question. A majority of people say it's their blank. Amy, is it me? Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm like my family is really not that crazy. It might be me. No, no, no. Listen, it's their blank, like what family member. Yeah, it's easy. Okay. Go ahead. Mother in law. That's crazy for me. My mother in law. That's the sanest person I know. I guess if I can't pick myself, then I don't know my sister. Eddie? I mean, my dad's the craziest to me. He's always nuts, but he's tamed down after his older, but back in the day, he was crazy pranks galore. A majority of people say it's their uncle. The uncle is the wild and crazy one of the family, and is often trouble or talked about after holiday gatherings. Crazy uncle? Yeah, I had one. I guess my uncle Joe. But you had one? He's not tragic. He's not with us anymore, but man. He need to go listen to Amy's new podcast. I know. Bobby's beach. Stories. Boom. Amy, have you seen Santa at the mall yet? No, I haven't. Is he there? Yeah, I think I know he is because lunchbox went to see him. But I've been out of the country for so long and thank God I get to come back soon. But we saw them setting up the Santa display and we haven't seen Santa yet. So one of the things I'm looking forward to most is going through them all. And I always thought, I thought it'd be fun for Kayla now how to get a picture with Santa. But then I think we just feel stupid waiting in line when all the kids want to meet Santa too? But probably not as stupid as what lunchbox felt like because here we go. Lunchbox went to the mall, right? I went to the mall. I got line, there's families there with their kids. You know everybody's all excited. And I'm just standing there, and I'm just waiting in line. I had to wait about 35 minutes and I even had one father asked me, excuse me, are you in line? I was like, yeah, and he goes, oh, okay. And I was like, they're like, where are your kids? They're like, not just me. And he was like, okay. So were they side eyeing you the whole time? That is weird? Definitely side eye and I felt like I felt like people were just kept looking at me like, is he really waiting in line to see Santa? Is he really waiting in line to see Santa and I was really waiting? I got up to the front of the line and I told him luck. I don't want to buy any packages. I just want to sit on the big man's lap. Oh, so that's how they make money. You have to buy a picture package? Yes. And the cheapest was not expensive. And what did they say when you said you didn't want to buy a package you, an adult man, 40 years old, wanted to sit on his lap? Nice. Okay, come on up. I guess they can discriminate, right? Yeah, I can't say no. I mean, it's just saying, I'm going to see San Antonio's on my wish list. And what did Santa what did his eyes tell you when you're walking toward him? He was. I think he was looking around me to see, oh, are the kids right behind him? And as I approached and he saw no kids, he was like, are we really doing this? He had that look like, is this a serious thing? And then he kind of batted and I was like, yeah, and I climbed up on his lap. He patted his knee once he realized you weren't kidding. That's what he does. Like, come on. You know, I guess he does that with the kids, so I guess it's a natural reaction, but he pat it, and I climbed up on his lap. So let's get in the weeds for a second here because you don't sit down with a full microphone. You're secretly recording him, right? Yeah, I just have my phone. So you just hit the little voice memo button and record this. Yes. All right, here is lunchbox sitting on Santa's lab. Merry Christmas Santa. Hey, how you doing? I'm good. How are you? All right, I got to confess right off the bat. What did you get? I've been a little naughty this year. But just with my wife, okay? That's it. So don't hold that against me. Now I got a couple things on my wish list, Santa. You bring me lottery tickets every year, but they're always losers. Oh my gosh. So Santa, I need to hit it big. I need to hit millions of dollars this year. I need a big lottery ticket. Yeah, but I mean, I want millions so I can retire. I understand. Okay. And then number two is Tina Turner, when you go down her chimney, if you can leave her a note, letting her know that I'm a good guy because I've been dreaming about meeting her. She's my favorite artist of all time, okay? And then our last one, I got one person on the naughty list. Abby, who I work with. She is a liar. She lies in. You can't trust her Santa, so I need you to bring her a bag of coal, and that is it. All right. Merry Christmas. Happy holidays, Santa thank you, man. All right, I heard a couple of things there. Okay. One, I heard Santa just wanting lunchbox to go away. Two, I did hear Santa bro out with lunchbox a little bit and go, hey man, I want 5 bucks the other day. Which I think is pretty funny. So what happened when you left? I mean, I felt like he was just like, he asked the girl. He's like, that was interesting or something like that. Something along those lines and they just kind of laughed and went on our merry way. Merry Christmas, then the next group came up with some kids. In the next couple of shows, we have lunchbox going Christmas caroling already. Oh gosh. Okay. So he sits on Santa's lap and we'll have him Christmas Caroline coming up. Not tomorrow or the next day because it's saint Jude radio time, but probably Monday, I will let you guys hear lunchbox. He's already done it. So early he did this and how awkward that's going to be too. But lunchbox on Christmas caroling will happen as well. So nice job lunchbox. Thanks. Did anyone else think that Santa sounded like Scotty mccreary or trace Atkins? Josh Turner? It's Josh Turner. Moonlighting? Yes. So every weekend, I produce a show and Amy hosts the show called women of I heart country, and it's an hour of female country artists and this past weekend tenille arts was Amy's guest. You'd know her song that went number one called somebody like that. Here's a clip. So she came in and gave the story about how she wrote that song after a breakup with the guy she had been with for 9 years. It was a great interview and performance. So I want to encourage you guys to check and see when this show plays wherever you live. But here's Amy with tenille arts and then a performance. Here you go, Bobby bones show..

"Stories. Eddie you know who Salt Bae is? Yeah, of course. He's the dude that has salt on his hand and he puts it on his elbow and it falls on steaks or whatever. He has got like long hair. Tastes like the meme. And sunglasses? Well, so he has a steakhouse and you can get a gold gilded tomahawk steak for $1900. Well, let's do it. No, no, let's do it. That sounds what a waste of money. So that might make you wonder what the flavor or texture or nutritional value or why are you spending that much money and really for no reason. Salt based says that gold doesn't improve the taste or the quality. So you're basically just paying for the honor or the flex of eating gold covered beef. Wow. That's from LAD Bible. Now bones, but can I ask you a question about Salt Bae? Who does he cut the meat for? Do you have to be like someone special or are you celebrity only? I don't understand who he decides to come out for and cut the meat. I believe if you pay for the salt bay experience and he's at the restaurant at the time, I'm serious. Right. Like crazy. If you pay for that experience, he comes out, cuts it and then does the sprinkle. I guess it's like an Applebee's where they sing happy birthday, right? Well, except for you don't have to pay for that. That's true. Well, you have to pay for a meal. But yes, yes, it's a different class, or I guess you're just kind of an idiot, right? If that's the case, if you're paying for that, totally. Although lunchbox looks like he would love to do it. Man, I'm telling you, guys, we should do that. We should go and get this done $1900, and then we get a picture and we make the news like, oh my gosh, someone actually bought the $1900 steak. We would be famous. Nobody would care we would not be famous. If it only costs $1900 to be famous, you see a lot of people put it on the credit card for sure. I do want to say this, I saw this. This was not given to me by Amy, but I saw this on all access a publication that talks about radio. It says a new podcast from Bobby bone choco host Amy Brown Ames to help listeners deal with grief and the times when life go wrong. Hereafter with Megan Devine is a weekly show for the Amy Brown podcast network, hosted by the author psychotherapist and grief advocate. Look at you, what's this show about Amy? Oh, well Megan divine's amazing and she's been a big help and a lot of the grieving that I have done this year and while a lot of people have been through a lot, especially the last few years, but she's someone that yeah, she's a psychotherapist she's an expert. She has gone through she lost someone very, very special to her, tragically. And so it just gave her the gift of really helping people navigate grief and she wants to help others through it, including the helpers her podcast is for everyone, but also, like if you happen to work in healthcare or you're a therapist yourself, like who helps you. So she's sort of speaking to those people as well, so they have a resource to navigate the grief in a healthy way. Is this podcast already existing? Yeah, it's up. Yeah. Hereafter with Megan Devine. I mean, I feel like I'm the person that helps everybody. Amy, I think people that are struggling come here and listen to me. Oh, well, they might. You're taking away the audience. Well, she speaks to it in a different way, but that's so nice. Thanks for bringing that up. Well, I just saw it yesterday. I didn't even know about it. And he's making big moves. Listen. When it comes to people that's like forging out their own identity, like aside from underneath the Bobby bones your umbrella, I gotta give it to you. You've been doing a great job. Oh, well thank you. Like you're the one that when I do hang it up, I don't have to worry about you. I was talking to Mike about this yesterday. I was like, Amy's the one she's already covered. She's good. I don't have to worry about her. All good. What about me? Oh, he's worried about you. Amy go ahead. No, but I mean, if you hang it, like, yes, if you hang it up like I can move on to other things, but if you hang it up, you would slate one of these guys to replace you, right? I don't think the show exists in this capacity. I think if it does, I'm sure it's you, but I don't think this happened. I'm not hanging it up, but I'm saying, I don't think they just go give it to somebody else on the show. I always thought it was ray. I used to think that, too, but anymore. All right..

"Right, this is a voicemail we got last night from Kim in Delaware. Big listener. Ten years plus, just wanted to say, you're wrong this morning because you guys are a great show. Thank you for being there. We appreciate your authenticity. It's off the charts. It's real. You can't fake that. Keep it going. We've really loved you. Appreciate you. I just spent about 6 days a week. Tough Caitlin and said hi, she's beautiful. And you should make a wonderful couple. And congratulations on New Year's Eve. That's awesome. Thank you. And I will tell Caitlin, you say hello and yeah. New Year's Eve you guys, be sure to watch on CBS if you don't mind. I'll be hosting it. I'm pretty pumped about that. All right, well that was a very kind voicemail. He was Amy's pile of stories. So when Amazon driver saved Christmas for someone in California because he pushed the ring doorbell, he set the packages on the porch, but then he noticed a message on the welcome Matt that said, hide packages from husband. So he picks up the package, backs up, tries to hide, but then the husband comes to the door, and it's like, oh shoot, what do I do? And here's a clip from the doorbell camera. Come back in. No, I don't. No, I'm just. Here it is. Tell you about the historic gospel of Jesus Christ. That's what you went with. That's off. After that, I mean, mission accomplished, but I mean, I don't know, I just thought, hey, quick thinking, super cool. He saved Christmas for that one. That's really funny. I mean, I probably would have said something like, hey, I'm from Amazon and we're selling a new package where we'll deliver your packages for half like some sort of bundle. That's probably what I would have done, but he went right to the lord. All right. What else you got? Well, speaking of Christmas, it's the first week of December, so when in your opinion, is it acceptable to start saying Merry Christmas? I would say the week of Christmas. Anytime before that feels weird and obviously after that feels weird. So the 17th probably 17th, 18th. Oh. Okay, Grinch. Man, I've already said it 5 times. Most people do think that right now is too early, although a small percentage of people are starting to say it like Eddie. Absolutely. But most people say mid December is the acceptable time, so December 15th. You called me a Grinch, and I said the 17th. Well you said the 15th. Is it the week at Christmas, which is technically like the 20th? 15 to 25 is literally ten days. That's a weakened. What? Three days? Just take back the grass. Exactly. I take it back. Take it back. Take it away. So Carrie Underwood, she's a vegetarian, but she is willing to cook meat for her family, come Christmas. I'll make a small turkey, even though I don't eat turkey. I'll make myself some tofurkey. Cranberry sauce, of course. We do, of course we potato casserole. You have to have that. That's one of my favorites. Because it's a side dish and a dessert. But I'll just make a ridiculous amount of food. And then speaking of food, something quickly, I want to mention that feeding America is doing with TJ Maxx Marshalls and home goods. Is there doing a snowball fight, but it's a 100% virtual? So it's called the snowball fight against hunger and it's on TikTok. Again with feeding America. So for everyone who joins the snowball fight against hunger by using the effect on TikTok now through December 26th, TJ Maxx Marshall's and home goods, they're going to donate $1 to feeding America up to $1 million to help families facing hunger. So I just thought that was something cool to mention and you can join TJ Maxx Marshalls and home goods and fighting hunger one snowball at a time..

"Celebrity to reach out because of your TikTok and go, hey, you know, why don't we collab? My family and I have had a lot of public conversations and meetings with J lo. And she's just been nothing. But nice and supportive and just telling us to keep going and not worry about it. And hearing it from someone like her has made this whole thing kind of like, okay, it's okay we're feeling this way because she feels this way as well. I want to ask you one more question. By the way, Dixie D'Amelio is on. Massively just famous everywhere now, but for me it was seeing on TikTok, you and your sister are both blowing up. And when you guys start to be a big deal on TikTok, do you feel it happening quickly or is it just something where you're like, wow, we got a bunch of followers today. And then it just slowly builds, or did you know that you guys were about to just be internationally famous? I had no idea what was going on. And I feel like the build was, it was a mix because it kind of just didn't stop. I think we are all waiting for the point where the numbers stopped going. But when you're sitting at home and just seeing numbers and you can't put a face to it because we were at home during quarantine, we were like, okay, so what does this mean? This makes absolutely no sense. And now that we're finally seeing people were like, oh, wait. These are real people who follow us and know us and watch our show and that was the weirdest thing ever. And I feel like putting that connection has been the most surreal part. Dixie D'Amelio, you can check out the D'amelio show on Hulu, which I recommend. And then also check out Macy's dot com slash wishlist for all your gifting needs. And once you make a wish list, go to Macy's dot com slash believe to write a letter to Santa because for every letter submitted a Santa online Macy's donates a dollar to the make a wish foundation, which helps to grant wishes to kids who are fighting critical illnesses. Dixie, congratulations on all of your success. Thank you for spending a few minutes with us. Of course, thank you so much. Bye. Bye. All right, we're gonna play a Christmas movie game. Now, I don't know anything about this game. Mike, can you explain this game to me that you put together? We'll play a quote from a famous Christmas movie, just named the movie. So you're gonna play the quote. Yes, you'll hear the quote. So this is a clip from the movie. Yep. Okay. Guys, write your answers down. We'll play, and you can stay in the game until you miss one. Okay? Okay. I'm terrible movies. I haven't seen many movies, so this may be a quick day for me. All right, here we go. Movie clip number one. Best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. I mean. Everybody good? Yep. All right, on the count of three, say it. One, two, three. Good. Nice. That is correct. Thank you, Mikey. All right, number two. You'll shoot your eye out, kid. Merry Christmas. How? I mean, I know what happens there. But I don't know what that's called. Remember the wind? Oh yeah, I'm in. It's the red rider BB gun one. And but what does that called? A Nightmare Before Christmas? Oh, I knew I'd be terrible at this. Because it seemed to route as the name Ralphie. Maybe. Hey. Hey. I'll remember this. One. Okay. Is it a Christmas story? Yes. Oh man, I got that right as Amy's fictional clock was expiring. Amy. A Christmas story. Eddie, the Christmas story bones. Watch box. A Christmas story. All right, nice job. It is a Christmas story. I struggled there. All right, next. And watching rubbish. You better come out and stop me. Newsies? What in the world is that get your paper here? I play that again. And watching rubbish. You better come out and stop me. It's a great. I'm just going context clues. Boy, I have no idea. How old is that, Eddie? Is that when you're a kid? I don't know. I don't know. Amy hit him with the fictional clock. 5. Four. Three. Two. One. All right, let's rock what do you have? Well, if he's out on the street, it's got to be a miracle on 34th street. I don't have that that could be it. Is that right? No. That is not right. Okay. But I have no idea. I have it just sounds black and white. Was that black and white? No. It's not? No. I have it's a wonderful eye. Oh my God. That's crazy that you didn't get that. That's what I thought it was. Okay. I have it too. Eddie and I can say it together. Go ahead. One, two, three. Come along. What? That's Macaulay Culkin. Bobby, that's what you get for not thinking homelands or Christmas movie. That's why I didn't write it down because it's not a Christmas movie. You could have said a movie about a home being burglarized. It could have happened any time that you had to pick that one. All right, you guys, number three. Let's get it. Every time a family, I mean, you'll get his wings. Yeah, that's number four. Sorry. And Amy's celebration ended pretty quick. She also cocky right now? Well, she's a little bit little mouse right now a little high under the table. Well, church mountain church. This one's a 5. Three. Two. One. All right, Amy, what do you have? It's a wonderful life. Eddie? It's a wonderful live. Why don't we go to that whole song and dance if Amy knew it? I didn't. I just guessed. Okay, one more. God bless us. Everyone. Sounds like the same movie. It's not. I don't know. I'm in. Hey, go with the Santa Claus. I mean, it sounds like Tim Allen. Maybe ten or something. "Amy will you close it out for us? You send your emails and no? No, no, no. We got. Oh, we got your email, and we read it on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. The latest from Nashville and Hollywood. Morgan number two. 30 seconds spinny. Lauren Elena released her new book, getting good at being you yesterday. Here she is talking about it. I am so proud of my book getting good at being you. It is all about my faith, my family, my journey, the ups and downs. Hope and peace and setbacks and bouncing back. Chris Stapleton considered what his influence on country music would be. If anything, if there's an influence that I have on country music, maybe it's that everybody doesn't have to look one way or sound one way or maybe if my influence is there's not one way to do something musically. You know, I think maybe that's a good influence to have. If I could have that influence, I think that would be positive. Mackenzie Porter recalled meeting Dustin lynch for the first time when she was in the recording studio for their collaboration. I definitely was a little nervous. I mean, the first time I like Destin said that I met him, I was cutting the version in the studio. I had done like kind of a, I guess, like, a mock version for you to hear, but the first real time he came into the studio and that was how we met. I'm Morgan number two. That's your skinny. It's time for the good news. With Amy. This little girl, lorelei entered the foster care system at age four and she spent 1445 days in foster care. Now she's 9 years old and has been adopted by her second grade teacher. Wow. Yeah, she's not sure, huh? Yeah, shout out to Zoe Henry. She's the teacher. She said the moment that lorelai step foot in her second grade classroom, she knew this girl can be my daughter. That's pretty good. I'm surprised Eddie didn't have that story. Usually I think the adoption story. Yeah, I never got a chance to get that one. Well, I mean, I guess I adopted, but I just didn't foster. Yeah. Yes. That's true. Amy, that's not you've been overshadowed by Eddie's recent adult. Wow. Amy's adoptions have now been overshadowed. Guys, it's not a competition. But if everyone, I know, I'm just talking about just naturally. I thought of Eddie. 'cause your kids, to me, just seem like you're kids, because they've been your kids for so long. They're not an adopted kids aren't your kids, but I don't even have to be adopted anymore. Yeah, you don't even hear their Haitian Alex since or their black skin. You just look like. Amy, I don't. It's like when you have tattoos, you don't even see them on yourself anymore. Yeah. Yeah. So we had two great things from here. I don't even reckon. Okay, whatever. Amy good story. Yeah. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something good. We're about to have Dixie D'Amelio on. Some of you may, some of you may not know she is, but as far as TikTok goes, she's about as big as it gets. Her sister, younger sister, is one of the most followed people as well. I talk two or three. So Charli D'Amelio, her older sister Dixie D'Amelio, they are massive. If you go to anybody 25 and under and show them the picture, they will know. Yes. So, I don't follow them because I don't follow young girls on TikTok, but they're in my for you page all the time because they are so massive. So when they offer it and I said, hey, would you like to talk to Dixie D'Amelio? I was like, of course, because Caitlin and I had just started watching some of her show their show. They have a whole show about their family, where they live. They talk about mental health a lot and social media, where you'd expect these girls who are teenagers and out, I think Dixie's 21, Mike, is that right? 20? You would just expect they got so big so fast and now they're so rich that life would be easy, but it's a real Gritty show. And it's like, they're crying and they're like, comments are awful for them. Social media is awful for them at times. So we're going to have her on in just a second. Do you know who she is if I just their name? No. But now I want to watch that show on Hulu. Yeah, Dixie and Charlie. Charlie has a 127 million. Oh my God. That's a lot. What? Oh, they're masky. That's amazing. It's like Selena Gomez type stuff. Wow. But they got massive on TikTok as the quarantine was happening. COVID was happening. All right, and I think she's on now ray. Yep..

"Mailbag yeah. Have an email here. But it's not a normal mailbag because it didn't come from a listener. It actually came from someone here on the show. They emailed me being kind of funny, but they have a real question about their life. So we're not going to play the mailbag song officially, but Amy if you'd like to sing the mailbag song, we'll count as like a junior varsity mailbag, so hit it. You send your emails and we read them on the air. It's something we call Bobby's mailbag. Yeah. There you go. This email list from, well, I'll read it. And then I'll tell you. Okay. Hello. Bobby bones. I love going to the same Mexican restaurant with my family. We've been going there for years. But recently, we've been getting stuck with a server that makes our visit a little unenjoyable. When we ask for more chips and salsa or a cup of coffee, the server always rolls their eyes and says, we're a little busy in the kitchen. It's going to be a bit. It's almost like they want to complain about it first, but then they end up doing it just fine. We don't want to get the server in trouble, but we also don't want to stop going to this restaurant because of one bad server that we get over and over. What should we do? Signed, producer ready concerned Mexican food lover. So how do you end up getting the same server? I don't know, it's happened three times. It's not a huge restaurant, but it's happened three times where it's the same server, and every time he comes up, I'm like, oh gosh, here we go. We're gonna do this again. So he walks up and said, I'll be you. All I'm ready. Yeah, he says, cool. What do you guys ordering? I'm gonna have three tacos in a burrito. That burrito, I don't know. I gotta go back and check. See, we have the ingredients for the burrito. And we may or may or not have one. I don't know dude. I'll check. And this happens every time. Every time it happened once with a coffee, I went like my wife was like, oh, I'm just kind of feel like having a coffee right now, and it was like 6 p.m. and he goes, coffee right now. I don't know. We'd have to make some in the back and this could take like an hour. Well, they probably. He's guilting you? No. He's guilty. And then he's also just he maybe wants me to change my mind and be like, okay, fine, I don't want to inconvenience you, no coffee, but we're not. We really want coffee. Amy, how would you handle the situation? I mean, I just avoid him somehow like, oh, this table, we don't want to sit here, we want to sit over there or somehow. Like, I would just have to finagle my mate. My way out of it or just stop going, 'cause that is annoying. Oh, I don't want to stop going though, bones. I love this place. This is what I would do. Do you know any of the other servers by name? No. I don't even know this guy's my name, but I know who he is. I know what he looks like. I when you walk in, there are two things you can do one. You can look around and see what servers are kind of working in what section and you can specifically ask for a section. So if you see there's a girl named who knows Danielle is working over in the section. You don't have to know her name. He'd be like, hey, is there any chance we could sit over there? Then they will do everything possible to put you over in that section that is away from them. Hey, am I gonna come off creepy though asking if I can go to it can also be Jimmy Eddie? It doesn't matter. Okay, all right. Yeah. So that's one thing you can do, or two, you can actually figure out a couple of their names, and then walk in and be like, hey, is Michael working? I'd love to sit in a section. You don't have to actually address the sucky guy. Just go through everybody's like, it's the hostess stand. Listen, I was a hostess Eddie. There's a stand and then sometimes they have the sections sectioned off with the server's names. So you can just go over a lean over, try to look and then be like, is there anything free with Johnny? What about Tim? What about anyone but the latest names? Yeah, we picked the lamest name, but we gotta come up with names on the spot. Or you can just suck it up and know that the guy if you get him, it's just gonna cry about it and not feel bad. Okay, yeah, I guess the best one that I hear from all you guys is just to kind of find someone who I know is gonna be better than him. Yeah, if you can identify a couple of servers by name, that's awesome. Like hey, is tamika working? Yes. Okay. Yes. Go ahead. Well, the reason why you have to just figure it out in a sneaky way is because if this is truly your favorite place, you can't call him out or do anything like that, because then you don't know if your food's gonna get messed with. Right. Because he will mess with it. Yes. Probably will. That kind of guy that would. Thank you, Eddie for your email. Hey bones, thank you for answering my email. That was awesome. You're welcome..

Yes. Okay. Yes. Go ahead. "It's something we call Bobby's mail back yeah. Hello, Bobby. My daughter is about to turn one year old. I want to throw a birthday party for her with my family. However, my parents have been divorced 7 years and do not get along. Do I need to throw two birthday parties? One for each side. No. I don't even need to finish reading the email. I'll finish it. Let me finish reading the email. Okay. Dear Bobby. My daughter's about to turn one year old. I want to throw a birthday party with her and my family. However, my parents, her grandparents, have been divorced 7 years and do not get along. Do I need to throw two birthday parties? One for each side of the family, or can adults suck it up and get along for a couple of hours. I would prefer to have one party, so I don't have to pay or plan two parties. If I have one party, am I setting the day up for failure with unneeded drama and lots of awkward conversations, signed confused mother. There are many layers of this email that irritate me. And not at the mother. But one, if she thinks those parents can't get along for two hours for the kid, that sucks. Yeah. Does she think they can't even pull it together to be in the same room? They would be that selfish. Because for the rest of their life, they're going to have to do this. Some people are. Two on a slightly lower note, a one year old's not gonna remember birthday party anyway. That's true. But there's pictures. It's a whole thing. It's for other people. It's for other people. It's like when I get my dog a birthday gift. And dog don't know he just gives all time. Later in life, this was your first birthday that's your first cake. You smash it in their face. I get it. If these parents can't chill, maybe you just don't invite the parents. Or you say, hey, if you guys can't chill don't come. Absolutely. You set the boundary from the get go. Another option would be that I don't know. They have time slots. I'm throwing one party. If you can't handle it, then you can come for the first 30 minutes and you can come for the last 30 minutes. They're gonna fight over who gets to come first. Well, then sorry, nobody y'all are not invited. Bye. Stop being 12 people on top of me, mom, mama. Stop it. Recall. You have an old person named B and old person, like have some maturity. I hurt for people that are in this type of situation with their family because do not plan to birthday parties because your parents don't get along. No, you're setting yourself up for, I mean, you're gonna do this every time you have to get together. No. This is a great time to create a lifetime boundary. We're gonna do things and you have to get along while we do things. And maybe it will challenge it. If you throw two parties then, you know, that enabling thing like you're enabling their behavior. You're a saying, okay, you get to act however you want, so I'm just going to separate you and go above and beyond to accommodate your immaturity when really if you set the boundary, then they'll have to make a decision and maybe this will push them to wake up and be mature about things. No? It's hard to push an immature person to maturity. However one can help. Yes, one can hope. Do not have two parties. If they can't handle it, they don't get a bite of your number two. Higher bouncer. How about that? All right, that's the mailbag. Morgan, if people want to email us, what do they do? Mailbag, Bobby bones, dot com. We got your game ready on the air. Now it's time to close Bobby's.

"Hey it's Amy, thanks for listening and being subscribed to the Bobby bone show podcast. Now this episode I'm about to share with you as an interview that I did on my show, women of I heart country. It's a weekly show where we showcase women and country music, and this week my guest was to Neil arts. We talked about her new song back then right now, and she performed her number one song, somebody like that. We also talked fashion, growing up in Canada, her new album, and what it was like landing her first number one this year. So that's all coming up in this episode. Be sure to listen to women of iHeart country every weekend. Join us. Just check out your local I heart country station or you can search women of I heart country on your I heart radio app. But here you go, a special edition of women of I heart country with tinea arts. Let's go girls. Playing live give it up first. Women, come on. I heart country. With Amy Browne. In studio now with tinea R Tay Daniel. Hey. Okay, so I'm very curious. What do you do first thing in the morning to get ready for the day? I drink a glass of water. I don't drink coffee. So that's been a new thing for me. Too much anxiety. So I cut out coffee, I wake up, drink water, immediately get in the shower. And start getting ready. I like to get ready. My mom was always like, I gotta put my face on, so I always try to get ready so that I feel like I'm good for the day, you know? Yeah, there is something about that. Sometimes if I realize like oh it's been about 5 days since I've gotten ready. I wonder why I'm feeling a little out of it. So I can support that with your mom. Okay, so let's talk about your new album. Girl a girl. It's out now, and you co wrote each of the 13 songs, but you also said that there's two different ways to listen to this album. So can you explain the two ways and what that means? Yeah, so basically, when I was looking at the track listing, which if people out there still care about track listing to me, it's a huge part of listening to an album. And so basically I've realized that a lot of these songs were from way back in my past, they were kind of who I was back then. So that's at the bottom of the playlist. And at the top is where I am right now. So you can listen from where I am now to back then who I used to be, or you can listen from when I was like my earliest memories to where I am now. Okay, so I want to support you on that too, because Adele was just talking about this not too long ago where she had recently put out a new album 30 and she was talking about how the order of it was so important that you listen to it in order, so some streaming services were turning off the shuffle option, so that way people didn't even have a choice. To listen to it out of order. So you're on the right track. Now I'm about to play your song back then right now and the lyrics talk about things in the 90s like disposable cameras and burnt CDs. Now you were born in the 90s, if you could bring one thing back from that decade, I wanna know what it would be. I think landline phones. I just think there's something about laying on your bed talking on the phone and you have one number for your entire house. I don't know, there's something so special about talking to people on a landline. I just love it. Yeah. I think that I could maybe appreciate a landline phone. I like a cordless landline though. Is that way maybe I could walk around, but I remember as a kid having to go in my pantry with the cord to hide from the rest of my hide from the rest of my family so they couldn't hear my conversation. And disposable cameras, you know, they're from the 90s, but they're back. They are back. You know, I actually, before we ever really put that in this song, at the beginning of the year, before I'd written any of these songs, I bought like 5 disposable cameras. And I was like, I'm going to take pictures throughout the year. I don't care what they are, just random stuff throughout the year, and I'm going to get them all just developed at the end of the year to see what I did and just see what funny things are on there. So I'm here for the disposable cameras. Yeah, so if you're looking for a fun gift idea or maybe to do something, yeah, for yourself like this holiday season or next year, disposable cameras where it's at. All right, you want to play your song now? I would love to. Okay, well, I'm gonna.

"Blake versus the winner of the voice. Is he just has god given gift and he knows it and he sort of just it's just easy for him really probably him really blown away by his talent. Came and finally one carter rubin who is only fifteen years old by the way one the voice last night gwen beat out. Her fiance blake shelton for her first win. In five seasons as a coach laking are also kicking off. Our pop of love turns out. Lakes proposal could have been a disaster on the bobby bones show. He admitted he did something with wins engagement ring. That made him a little bit nervous. The scariest thing was. I had that ring in the The compartment on door of my truck for about a week. And i don't know about you but stuff all down of that damn thing my all the time. I wanted to keep it in there all the time. 'cause i didn't have the exact route moment but thank god. I didn't lose the ring i mean. What would you do if your partner proposed without a ring because they lost it. I'm just going to let you answer that justin. I love you so much. But i lost you ring. I mean that would be a cute story to tell on the way to go get another ring. Yeah so we would be going to share it at the same time. I'd be hearing about this for myself. I feel like in my thirties. I have turned into a whole different person like the things that they used to need. When i was in my twenty s like eight carat emerald cut with two side. Diamonds have now turned into four carrots. And something cute. Like i don't

Finding Positive Places Online

"Today we're talking about digital self care so nicole had come across a mention of this. This on lied. They called it a self care crawl so in trying to understand what that meant. We decided we just talk about Sort of feel good stops online feel-good places to go online since we can't really go anywhere in person right now so when you're when you're looking to just maybe blow a little steam or just have a little hit of endorphins. Where do you go online nicole. You had some. You had some ideas in mind or you have a little kind of. Yeah will i. I mean yeah so first of all the title was attractive because it may be thinking of other types of crawls around college days liver sadly lost in news core. yeah time but It actually was kind of an interesting idea. Because i thought you know when i if i have been working all day or if i've been out about or If i've been doing housework what am i kind of ways that i carve out time for myself is a computer and then i have like my favorite sites that i go to or you know things that i do is kind of like a little routine right. That's gonna wear. I can escape for a few minutes. I'm not having to shop for anybody. I'm not having to make appointments for anybody. Not having to send emails. Anybody is kinda like that little time that myself and of course you know it's like a total luxury to even dream about some of these things for example you know one of my favorite. To's is the ralph lauren website. And i liked the look at you. Know what's on that site and And then another one of my favorites doubt stops as the kate spade website so this kind of a trend right out the window shopping. But on down cle- yes that's awesome with the online. And then of course i always go to a couple of my favorite facebook groups and check out that because there's really nothing ever negative. That happens on there so that's good and In my face yeah right right kind of a little bit of a Doesn't really make sense. But yeah so i thought we could just kind of expand more on that i mean. What do i mean. I'm sure you both have some of your favorite stops online. That you that you go to or that's part of your day or your routine. So yeah kind of elaborate on the like what or do you just kinda do your work shut your computer down and then you move on. I used to have a list of really fun. Twitter accounts that i would go on and that we made a little bit of respite. I would go and see what all those people were saying. There were always funny and entertaining and then politics happened and twitter just became a surging cesspool of strife and anger. And i couldn't go there anymore because my fun little entertaining twitter people had opinions on things and whether agreed with them or not. It just made me mad. So i had to step away from twitter and facebook also friends who i used to enjoy following to see what was happening in their day day to day life also had opinions and again whether i agreed or disagreed it all just made me angry and that is not what you're looking for when you're doing your self care crawl so i found recently a combination of snoozing everybody who is melting off and joining a a facebook group that was extremely positive and extremely prolific. Pretty much gave me a safe place to go and just sort of reveling in salinas and fun. That for me was a. It's a group of fans of the bobby bones show. They call themselves the b. team. They sort of singlehandedly. Got him memorable ball trophy on dancing with the stars and they have this facebook group that they mentioned it on the show and so it grew by like i think ten thousand people over long it got very large but it's generally not one hundred percent because people are people but it's generally very positive and just go to my newsfeed now in its all be team and that's just fine q. Pictures people's kids fund things that happened on the show pictures that where they saw bobby bones at a concert as just very entertaining in very low stress and very enjoyable so that has been a real self care thing. I highly recommend snoozing all your friends. You don't wanna see right now. Look joining something where people will talk about nonsense

But i feel like we've pretty much gone straight into christmas holiday mode right now so these are some great movies to go ahead and put on your list in the first category. Let's go with the favorite old school classic. And i'm to have to give it to the original. Og christmas movie. A christmas story from nineteen eighty-three. It's a movie. Probably all grew up watching and at this point we can kind of just have it on in the background and it just gives us that christmas feeling. They're just so many classic moments in classic quotes from this. A christmas story also had the eighty nine percent rating on rotten tomatoes. It's not available to stream anywhere right now but if you want to rent it. It's on amazon for three ninety nine. And then if you have cable subscription service you can usually catch it on pbs or stream. It their on demand. And i feel like when it comes to having a classic. You can't go wrong with the christmas story. Only i didn't say fudge. I said the word the big one. The queen mother of dirty words dash dash dash next up. I had the category of the best modern classics. So i feel like this is a movie been around long enough but it's still relatively new and it's a movie now. That actually came out seventeen years ago. So i feel like it's so far stood the test of time and i don't really seeing any point to where this movie will not be a part of my christmas and if you haven't seen it at this point well i don't know what you're waiting for. I don't know where you've been in the movie. I'm talking about is l. It has eighty four percent rating on rotten tomatoes. It's currently not available to watch anywhere for free but you can read it on amazon for three ninety nine and if you happen to have a stars direct tv subscription you can watch it there. And the thing. I love about this movie that everybody i talked you kind of has their own favourite part of the movie. My favorite part is when buddy the elvis. I leaving to go find his dad and he's saying goodbye to everybody to hope you find your dad. Thanks in our wall. All right the next category is the unconventional christmas movie. I think every year people had a debate on what is an isn't a christmas movie. Several different movies kind of fit into this category. But one i feel that kinda gets left out in the discussion. Every year is harry potter. And the sorcerer's stone now all throughout the harry potter series. I feel like christmas is a pretty big part of it. And not only that. But i feel like christmas scenes. In harry potter are just some of the most magnificently done christmas. Any christmas movie. And i don't know why they get left out of that conversation. The bad thing about the harry potter movies is they are pretty much taken off of any kind of streaming service and you can really only rent them on amazon for three ninety nine but the first one does have eighty one percent rating on rotten tomatoes. If you haven't seen it yet. And i know overall christmas is pretty small. Part of the entire franchise. But harry potter at one point does get the visibility cloak as a christmas gift and therefore i'm dubbing get a christmas movie christmas happy christmas next category. I wanna do favorite rated r. movies. So this is christmas louise for adults so kids. If you're listening you can't watch these movies and parents. I feel like these were made for. Maybe some of us. Who don't necessarily enjoy christmas movies. And just want something to make you laugh. That just has a little bit of christmas in it. Because i know sometimes christmas movies get a little bit cheesy and my all time. Favorite rated r. christmas movie is bad. Santa it literally makes me laugh out loud. And i know it's incredibly rajini incredibly inappropriate. But i love billy bob thornton and even in the crudeness and the rudeness of this movie i do feel like it has a lot of heart and if he can get through the dirty jokes and the bad language you do find a pretty nice christmas story here and bad. Santa has a seventy eight percent rating on rotten tomatoes. And as of right now you would have to pay to ninety nine to streaming on amazon. But i know once it gets closer to christmas. It has popped up on netflix. Maybe check for it. There later was gonna make some sandwiches. I could make you one before you leave. Okay maybe some sandwiches harshest. You want the usual amount. Just whatever you think. Okay right in the last category. I want to get to is a favourite new christmas movie. And i'm gonna go with the holiday. Would you can watch now on net flicks and a little bit of a warning. It is kind of raunchy and crude. Just like the bad santa movie but if you're into movies like bridesmaids or the hangover i feel like it's kind of in that category so it's emma roberts and luke bracy who is australia and he's kind of like the kmart version of chris hemsworth and they come up with this plan to be each other's dates for only the holidays. So let's be only time they ever get together so it starts at christmas goes through all the holidays in the united states and then ends up back at christmas and if you guessed at home that they ended up developing feelings for each other throughout this plane to be each other's holiday. Will you guessed correctly but again. That doesn't spoil. The movie is basically in the trailer. And it's basically what every kind of cheesy romantic comedy. Christmas movie plot is about. But i think overall this movie just makes you kind of turn your brain off and enjoy a nice holiday movie. And isn't that what we all need right now. All right. that's your holiday movie guide if you enjoyed that segment and want to hear more about movies to check out my podcast movie. Mike's movie podcast. Just search movie mike. "Speak on the culture. We have right now television watching just in American general, what have you don't like something he just wind about. And you wanted to be changed, whether it's TV, which I'm talking about or election or interception on the Super Bowl change the rules, stupid. And we'll become big babies for all big babies myself included. Sometimes bring it out, because now they're petitioning game of thrones to hire new writers and right, the final season because I don't like what happened last episode stop being a baby because you don't like it doesn't mean that it didn't need to happen. You liked it all the time. So disgruntled game of thrones fans want HBO to reduce season eight with Tommy. Yeah. Dumbest thing I've decided that's my favorite episode game of thrones ever spoil it because it made

He was actually on a podcast called the red pill podcasts, you said this. Yes, he said there was a time when I would go to sleep almost every night when he had the money to fly away from me. And I was worried every night that I was gonna lose him said I thought he was going to die. I thought he was going to go to sleep one night. And he would have so much crap in his system that he would not wake up the next morning. He goes on to say, you know, the Justin is obviously clean himself up that it had to be a decision that Justin made because they all did interventions right before his. Arrest? They wanted to try to get him into rehab. He didn't want to go. So now, he is okay. He's not doing any drugs. And he's saying that he had to save himself. "All right. The Bobby bones post show pre show. Let's go over to Amy's pile which we did not get to the show. Today is an important segment. We kinda got onto Morgan feeling surge on the show today, but we had address fact that she felt like she was going to dog piled or she would say, interrogated, never thought that was really the feeling the lights come off the hang the one light over your head. Oh, man, good cop, bad cop. Ask all sorts of questions. Yeah. Yeah. So you can hear that later. But again, I don't spoil things. You know what I mean? Yeah. Still listen, really listen to see over taming. It really is so much more than that. There's way more to worse than no spoiled. Amy's pile of stories. Have y'all seen sandlot? Prequel is in the works. Yeah, it's pretty cool and they don't really know exactly when it's going to take place like how far before the actual Sanli, but some are suing that the beast will be a puppy. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I wonder what because that's shun nothing. Sixties, Babe, Ruth was there. So maybe earlier than that. But was I thought that was just an old ball because I remember them. Maybe that's what it is is nineteen sixty two set will. Then they gotta go by the twenties. I don't know how old is the bee's dog. Yeah, eight. I think the kids are maybe. Mine. Maybe you don't even know if some of the original characters. Yeah, we'll even be born. Oh, pretty frequent. Yeah. But the bidding, the beast is not part of this. He can't be. Bobby, maybe the bee's parent. I liked Salem, movies. Yeah, I thought you would like that. So prince Harry's old Audi is for sale on auto trader. Outy. On his Audi does the car. It's the car that prints hair used to drive Megan Markle to Pippa Middleton's wedding reception last year, and it's ninety four thousand dollars. In case anyone is interested, how many miles while you're, that's all valid questions. Thousand seventeen Audi. I mean, the fact that he's white was he up auditor. I need to keep it. Did he sign it? Assuming he didn't put an auto trader? What I would be assuming as they gave it back to whomever is probably a Lisa give lease. You're so smart. I thought Renteria was like, how much is my car this on EBay took that Kelly blue book. Oh, it only has four thousand five hundred miles. So basically the grandma destroyed it. What else? Okay, so people are putting toothpastes on their Google and hopes to make them bigger. Have you seen this whole thing on YouTube? Does that work for me because I mean, it could work for, I guess, males or females, but women wear. Talking to women's swear that putting based on their boobs made them grow and they've been making videos about it. So other women are falling for it. So. No, I saw an article Marie-Claire where Dr was like, look, I cringe at the prospect of putting toothpastes like on anything on your body is identity mouth because some people use it as acne, cream, which I have done before. When I've been in a pinch. As we almost squirting. Oh. I can't believe I have to say this or not. If you believed it when you said people put into their boobs to make it rows like, oh, wow, yeah, I don't know why people think that that would make your boobs. What you do, all kinds of crazy stuff that I wouldn't fall for putting toothpastes. Maybe it would maybe maybe. Thing. Okay. But that's my file. All right, there you have it. Thank you. That was Amy's pile of stores wrapping up here on Thursday in talk about. Well, sort of we didn't address it, but we can address it later. There's two things on my brain one most recently, because during the show you said that there's been times you've gotten her feelings hurt this week, you know about you. But I mean, just anybody. I'm just point was that I tend to react and get into a turtle shell and is back away completely from this scenario at all. And I'm just like, all right, don't like that. So I'm just gonna run away. I know, but I'm going to adult crazy camp. Even just crazy. Crazy man. Right. Well, it's not a good night at camp. It's not. No, it's it's, you go and you give all your phone, your computer and no TV, and you stay there can be harder days. It's intense. Yeah..

Twenty four year olds Lindsay Lohan landed an MTV reality show that set in Greece Excited about it her beach house yes it's called the low hand beach house, and it'll be all about the work staff and after. Hours. Kind of like Bravo's Vander roles. But in the Mediterranean, okay have a lot of questions here so first of all. Lindsay Lohan to get a reality shows piped-in years too late When she was going nutty that's when you wanna see the, reality of it to the news was, recently talking about? How she was demanding her? Staff. Where shoes that. Match or they get fired so, they're already creating. Storylines I can. See this year I didn't know that's what this was. Four hours was like why low him back in the? News.
