Common Cold Virus Targets And Kills Bladder Cancer

"But what is with this new concept of the common cold being a juror for cancer that we should embrace the common cold the viral infection because it may be stimulating the immune system to yes in fact kill cancer cells or prime the immune system to destroy tumors and in this case we're talking about the latest finding about how the common cold could actually end up being eight cure for bladder cancer that's what scientists are discovering a strain of the virus the cold virus destroys tumors on the bladder organs interlining and now one patient that they're they're studying right now because of this who had verifiable bladder cancer has no trace of the disease with respect to having this cold virus destroy it in a controlled situation the common cold could one day be used seriously to cure bladder cancer and that's what the researchers are now saying and I know that sounds a little strange but think about how many people however when they get the cold I don't care the smallest Sniffles or a sore throat they immediately go to the over the counter drugs to suppress the symptomatology and that may be the wrong thing to do because in doing so you're also derailing the immune system to some degree and polluting the body in this case a study found a strain of the cold virus called coxsackie virus destroys cancerous cells in the organs inner

Many of you may know that yesterday was national drug take back day. Amazing. We have to do that in the United States. We are the number one consumer of drugs in the world. And yet we rank forty fifth in long Javadi what's wrong with this picture? We're going to be talking about this a little bit later in the show, America's ongoing calamity with being drugged out of our gourds. That's coming up. Stick around. Our special guest is segment of the program is mardi Witkin Marty is a board certified clinical nutritionist and author. She also has a terrific. Nationally, syndicated radio show, and I can just imagine that her listeners tune in to hear her voice because you can hear voices very calming, very motherly. In fact, I think a lot of people probably tune into Marty on her show just to be calm down with anxiety and stress that they have with her in mazing, Melissa Lewis voice pattern, and we like her because she's so talented in so many ways, and we're happy to have her on the show today to talk about the connection between allergies and the gut and particularly how probiotics can play a part in helping to balance the system out. So that you're not overreacting to allergies. All right. We're back with Marty Wigan now mardi we see in the marketplace. A lot of different kinds of probiotics. A lot of companies bragging about how they have so many billion parts per this. And how many different organisms they have can't? We just get. These elements out of our food anyway. Well, I I just have to thank you. For those lovely words. I do try to be calm because if we calmed down there and think about these things we can take charge and make a lot of changes. And I want to pick up on another thing you said before we get to the food thing because you mentioned natural antihistamines. And there are some wonderful ones. What people don't realize is those might not do you any good? If you don't have the bacteria in your gut to extract from those the active properties, a lot of things that are billed as superfoods are superfoods because the bacteria process them into what I called in my book post -biotics, they've taken this raw material and made it into something that you can use. So yes, there's great things in the food, but not the back. Tyrian those you have to work out with for Menton foods and feeding your own good bacteria, fibers foods. Love herbs. They love spices. They don't like enter actually killed off. By a lot of the ingredients in processed foods. So job one is to change the diet. But you gotta back that up by reinforcing your gut bacteria with fermented foods. And specially love doctoral. Here's because it's a concentrator for minute foods, those bacteria busy for three years taking these wonderful foods and turning it into these post -biotics hundreds of them things that help the body gets worked on. Right on that order. You know, we hear also that these probiotics and you read it right on the label most amount during the health food store. They gotta stay refrigerated. That's the beauty of what I love because I like you mardi travel a lot. And I just throw those probiotics doctor. Here's probably addicts right in my suitcase, and I'm good to go. Unfortunately, a lot of the other companies. I mean, you'd have to literally bring dry ice with you. Everywhere you go, otherwise, they are toast. They're done if they had any live bacterium in there to to begin with. Well, exactly. And I think it's really good to have. Dr here's probiotics with you all the time in your pocket in your purse. So that if you're at dinner the meal isn't sitting very well. Chew a couple. Just shopping your mouth chew them up and get immediate help. You can't get that with these white powdered freeze dried bacteria that are so fragile. They don't have the the foods for the bacteria, and they don't have what the bacteria of made you have to wait until they make a home get organized find food, and then they can start making stuff for you. If you have had the right thing for lunch. Exactly. Ladies and gentlemen, if you're interested in funny on more about Dr here's probiotics Marty. And I take on a regular basis. They are available online. Facebook at Dr o'hara's probiotics Facebook. Dr. Oh, here's probably oh here is by the way spell with two h.

"Now you can follow Dr Bob on Instagram at Dr Bob Martin show. That's O C T O R Bob Martin show on Instagram. All right. Welcome back. Welcome back to this hour of the doctor Bob Martin show. Thank you for tuning into the program today. We'll give you a rundown of what we're going to be talking about a little bit later in the show and just a little bit. But I wanted to get to the results of last weekend's health poll question. If you were with us last week, you know that there was a health poll question asking you to participate in to give your opinion as to why you believe there's been such a big surge in childhood depression. Because mental health experts are now warning that statistically over the last decade over the last ten years or so they have seen. They have noted and documented a seventy percent surge. In childhood depression over the last ten years that is so dramatic in such a short period of time. It's amazing. So we asked you the question. Do you believe that communicating through devices device screens we're talking about communicating with text messaging Instagram? Snapchat, Twitter all these things communicating with are the human beings. Whether it be your parents, your siblings, your friends, your coworkers, whoever. But not in person may be in part to blame for the seventy percent surge in childhood depression over the last ten years. Do you believe there's some relationship there? Yes. Or no. Now you voted on that. And I'll have the results in a moment here. But let me tell you where this is born out of many psychologists are in fact suspicious of the fact that the technology that more and more children are using that keeps us connected through screens. But not in person may be in part to blame for the surge in depression. So we asked you that question last week you voted on whether you believe that communicating through these devices instead of in person, having FaceTime eyeball to eyeball ear to ear, whatever it may be if communication communicating technologically through devices instead of person to person is the problem. Yes, or no. Will you voted here? Here are the results of those people who voted eighty nine percent of you said, yes, you believe the surge in depression. With children may have something to do with communicating in a non direct way through these devices through these machines only eleven percent of you said, no, you don't believe it has anything to do with it. So the as have it in a big way on last week's poll question now, we have another health poll question, we're going to ask you to give us your opinion of today. And here it is we might as well talk about it. We see that the city of San Francisco has now moved to ban e cigarette sales and till health effects of e cigarettes are known they're going to ban them. And now also this last week. I I was watching an interview of the current FDA. Commissioner Scott Gottlieb MD he's preparing to leave office. I think a week or so and he. Intimated told the audience that they're looking right now into banning e cigarettes jewel and others. Because they're seeing such scary data showing that these e cigarettes the usage has gone up twenty thirty forty percent or more. And they still don't know what the effects of these devices are even though they've allowed them to stay in the marketplace. So they're thinking about a possible nationwide ban. So we ask you the question the listener of the doctor Bob margin show the following question. Are you in favor of a nationwide ban on e cigarettes? If you don't know it at an e cigarette is yet or a vapor your head is in a cloud itself because they're out there. All you have to do is pull up to an intersection and watch the clouds coming out of cars now, I know some people are saying, well, okay. So they ban cigarettes. What about the regular cancer sticks? What about the other coffin nails that people are sucking on? Well, I think the gate has been closed on that. It's too late. But the east cigarettes being new they still have reached back apparently to shut down because they haven't been okayed and the the laws are different today than when tobacco cigarettes, which are obviously death waiting to happen and disability before you get to that. It's a slow death one positive time. But you just don't know which puff is going to set the cancer or the COPD into motion. You just never know. But it's going to happen. It's matter win or the heart attack. But here it is are you in favor of a nationwide ban on e cigarettes. Yes, or no, it's straightforward over to my website at Dr Bob dot com and vote on that give us your opinion because your opinion matters to us. Do you think there should be a ban on it just knowing what you know? Maybe it just annoys you or maybe you're happy for it. Because you don't have to smell the ranch coming out of the cancer sticks. People have moved away from it have gone to the cloud now. And you see it coming out of automobiles. I mean, it's so bad that I mean when you're in behind a car, and there's a couple of vapors in the car in front of you. I mean, it's like going into a cloud. You almost like loose sight of everything they've blocked sunlight, it's it's just unbelievable. But anyway, check it out vote on it are you in favor of a nationwide ban on e cigarettes. San Francisco is already done it a voted Dr Bob dot com. Southward, Dr DO CTR vob dot.

"Huge. Thanks to you the doctor Bob Martin show. Right. A healthy and happy welcome back to this segment of the doctor Bob Martin show. I thank you for tuning into the program today. And our veteran listeners you continue to help this show grow. We appreciate you for telling others to tune in. So they can learn more about their most precious possession their health because health is wealth. Take charge of it responsibility for it. And we've got a lot of show left to come. And I want you to stick around because later on we're gonna be talking about the fact that right now, researchers are reporting there's a big surge going on in a specific area of the country related to valley fever, and some of the cases can be deadly thousands of people being diagnosed with valley fever cases are soaring. We're going to be talking about that what it is. And what you can do what you should know about. That's coming up a little bit later in the show. Also next hour this week's installments of the health outrage of the week. The health alternative of the week. Plus, we've got the product recall of the week. They just keep on coming. We don't know why. But it's happening. All right. We're gonna turn our attention to and then later in the show, we'll be talking about the same sort of topic. I'm getting ready to talk about a bodybuilding supplement could cause brain damage will have that for you since the area of supplementation for bodybuilding in sports enhancement, billions and billions of dollars spent. Now, we turn our attention to our special guest who's going to be talking about how we can enhance our function in that category and beyond his name is Dr Jamie, rush, Dr rush, I is traditionally trained physician MD who practices integrative medicine after completing his training at two of New York's prominent hospital, Saint Vincent's and mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr respite. Went on to open the leading integrative medical wellness clinic in Puerto Rico where we were recently with offices in Miami. And New York City he holds board certifications in internal medicine, anti ageing and regenerative medicine. Dr rush is an expert on sports, nutrition and digestive health. He has been featured in numerous health publications and makes frequent appearances on health focused radio shows like this one and telepho- and television shows and with that lake in the topic is how people who are interested in optimal performance. Let's say they may be a weekend warrior exercise person. They only do it on the weekends because they had a jam it in because they're too busy during the week in their minds or those people who are more serious about it. They get regular exercise or all the way to the elite athlete. Let's talk about how we can help them out. During our time together how we can optimize their performance. And why it is that antioxidants are key components in performance medicine. So let's begin with what is performance medicine to begin with. It's basically a a weird looking in medicine that we can actually treat athlete. Let's see when you when you have a car ride. You have a streetcar and you have a performance car, and you find tune things more or less the same basic knowledge, but with different tuning techniques. Right. So purported medicine is said it's a way of practicing medicine in the way that we can improve health instead of focusing on the seas. And we can take those fine tuning athletes, or you know, what you call the weekend warriors. And again, I agree. Everybody can actually do a little bit. Actress is every day. It's on just your mind is the one keeping you from doing it. In taking that logical body that structure and learning through lot pets learning through medicine. How can we make it perform better or how we can make a recover better? So you know, we see athletes, and we marvel how they can accomplish long distances amazing times. But they're backed by group of different people, you know, in the back door doctors, therapists, physicians, nurses, PA you name it and almost people when they do take that body examine it to the scent and were from it and learn how we can actually use different supplements different medications different modalities to make that body recovering perform better performance medicine. It. The unity of knowledge of medicine looking at the body in ways to improve it other than you know, curing the disease because not everybody is sick. Right. Every time you go to a doctor that something wrong in my practice. When they come to me. They're perfectly healthy. It's a matter of how can I make recover better from the marathon. How can I make him perform better from swimming? How can they cycle better and have less knee injury? So that's the center of all that's right now. Is this something that you learned in your standard, medical education, or was that a postgraduate kind of thing that you had to? Discern and learn on your own or how did how did your interest begin Dr respite in this area? Well, I've always been a runner I ran from high school that are on we've been involved with athletes, and I always wondered how I can see very elite athletes perform to a degree many many years later become a physician classic train. How to cure the seat how to treat these cheese how to diagnose and what I what I learned is forced to answer your question post, gradually like after my MD degree what we learn on a lot of the stresses that athletes go or the trenches like, for example, say somebody is in the intensive care unit. Our hats a trauma to the body older stress for are basically the same as a high, endurance athlete. So when you come about it just apply a lot of basic traditional medicine with a new way of seeing it. So when you see when you go to the ICU intensive care unit, and you see people getting vitamin through the intravenous line getting fluids. You're basically doing the same thing with the athletes. The only difference. The trauma from the ICU patient would maybe a car accident was basically a fall or something like that. And the athletes trauma was running twenty six point two miles. You know in in record time so that stress dad dad that physiological strain that you see on an athlete was very comparable to traditional medicine. And so which is a matter of getting the right technology. And now we have it in LOP testing that we can actually apply all those intensive care unit parameters to hide your athletes and see how they do body strains with sports. All right. Well, thanks for that explanation. I just assumed it was it was post medical school because I know that not much of that is taught in the regular core of education of a medical doctor. So, you know. The basic scientists the same is how how you apply that. It's different. Now, we applying basic stress, you know, recoup and recovery protocols to strength athletes after they compete or during your training. So and now we have decided to do it in the loud, and obviously nutrition and that the infrastructure of support from pharmaceutical companies, some compounding pharmacies from lab tests from different supplement companies that actually can tailor to what we need for the outpatient, or the athlete per se. I think it's fantastic. I see groups cropping up everywhere. There's group that I recently joined lifestyle medicine, it's geared towards sort of the same thing. And that is not just managing crisis situations, but rather helping teach people what they really can do on their own and with the assistance of other people who are learned in this area. What they can do to fine. Tune. Tune what they should be doing to be able to perform their best. Whether it's just on a daily basis of normal eight to five work or that along with additional exercise after work or in between or on the weekends. And I think this could be applied, ladies and gentlemen, performance medicine to anything in this walk of life. So it just depends on how far you want to take it. You wanna wait till something breaks before you fix it. Which is what western medicine is really all about mostly or do you want to take charge of your health and learn as much as you can to put in place certain things that you can do on your own or with the.

His must be our last name. I don't know. We're not related necessarily. We're brothers and friends. All right. So let's tell the audience especially because we have new people tuning in each week in here to the show, rob I wanna start off by just the basic stuff and define for our audience. What are these telomeres that? I mentioned what are they about? What what's what's important to our listeners about telomeres, first of all if you've been out the telomere telomere with kilo mayor. It's the same thing. And they are these little caps. They're actually DNA strands on the ends of our chromosomes that protect our chromosomes and allowed them to replicate in cell division. It a very healthy manner when we're young the system works. Great. And that's why we look so beautiful with strong healthy. But overtime those little caps. Start to degrade. The analogy is always the shoelace. And the little plastic tip on a shoe. Shoelace same thing the cracks and Craxton Benchley is not usable same thing with the telomeres and in terms of the replication think of the copy machine years ago, we used to put a copy of Dr Bob, you probably remember we put a comedy in the machine, and then we make a copy of a copy of copy of the copy, and you could even read the thing. And that's exactly what happens with ourselves when they don't replicate clearly every time it replicates all the defects from the previous copy are now transferred over and some new ones form. And so by the time, you're into your forty fifty sixty s and beyond we start to have the progression of health and beauty issues and the increase in severity, obviously as we age, but they increase in severity as those telomeres, shorten shortened shorten. And I it it really is a foundational basic issue. Toby is all over your body. And every system in your body inside and out is connected to those little caps. It seems like the research is finally catching up to this. Do you agree with this is this is sort of like it just seems like it's exploding of late. Yeah. Well, that's true. I mean, people have known scientists have known about telomeres for thirty years. And I've been researching them for fifteen years myself because I was seeing studies coming out on a particular, natural ingredients and telomeres, but in two thousand nine Dr Elizabeth Blackburn and two colleagues. They won the Nobel prize for that telomere research and discovering the enzyme in our bodies that protects telomeres, and it's called telomerase telomerase, and and many people are calling it the fountain of youth enzyme and a lot of the things we're doing now in nutrition nutraceutical is stimulating that enzyme in our body to protect our telomeres. I had to do a research paper on this back when I was getting my dip. Anti-aging medicine the connection between vitamin c and the preservation of telomeres, this is back in almost eighteen nineteen years ago. And it was just like when I presented that papers. Like, nobody knew what I was talking about at that time. All right. So let's talk about telomeres in our health. I'm I'm anxious to hear about this breakthrough research that you sent me a note here lately. Of late. I wanna have you break that to the audience today. Yeah. This is this is the absolute leading edge in lunge jeopardy. Science age reversal science. Now, we know now that telomeres shorten is connected to every condition virtually every condition imaginable. Cardiovascular your joy, your skin on and on your eyes. But what we're finding out your immune system and memory loss, brain, I can go on and on. But here's something. That's absolutely. It's fascinating and devastating at the same time when telomeres degrade and become within they lose their fatality. They can no longer help yourselves to divide. They don't they don't just die. They actually transform into senescent cells even the scientists, according them zombie cells and these senescence. Zombie cells. What they do is they send out signals, and they infect toxic signals that damage the healthy cells around them, and it starts to spread does become senescent is spreads through your body. Now, here's the thing. And you have a very knowledgeable audience inflammation over the last ten years. Anyone into health knows that inflammation is the link to virtually every serious health condition. And it's the senescent cells that all the source of inflammation. So what we have here. Now is you're you're telling me as a degrading and the senescence sells a building up the inflammations building up in your body. And and and and that's the engine of the terrible things. So that's why the telomere shortening is is is so crucial. We must do something about it. It's directly involved with all of these nightmares. We must keep our cellular telomeres long and strong. So you can block the formation of killer senescence zombie cells. Okay. And that makes sense to me a Honda people, keep their telomeres. I mean, how how do they your telomeres? I'm gonna have you asked this question when we come back from this break because I'm intimidating the audience is asking the same question. You know, how do people keep their telomeres from getting shorter? How do they protect them how they gotten shorter? And how do you know, if you've got short telomeres that is setting into motion these ageing molecules that are damaging. The body because they're hanging around too long. And they're not cleared by the body. And I know that's the question because it's a natural feed into the conversation here. Okay. So now, I got the dilemma laid on me, and I see the problem. And now the science is determined it's widespread. Now, what do I do about it? Give me a solution. Please. And that's exactly what we're gonna ask. If our special guests when we come back longevity researcher, nutritional scientists.

Breaking news on that. And here's another thing. People with tattoos have more mental health issues. Now, I'm not saying that the researchers new study out finding that out. I have to say, I don't have a tat my canvas is clear. There's no ink on me. But you have the right to do that I respect that. No judgment. But we'll get into this topic about the relationship that scientists are finding two people who choose to have tattoos and mental health issues to boot all of that still ahead here on the doctor Bob Martin Chelsea don't go anywhere. All right. So we're going to turn our attention now to a topic that I am intimately interested in. Because this is a big challenge with my own personal health, always has been it just seems like you know, I was born with upper respiratory challenges growing up. I had just incredible challenges in the area. Bronchitis. Pneumonia, I had pneumonia. Three times hospitalized with it. Three times. Bronchitis. Sinusitis you name it. I had it. It was all over me. And I was one of the sickest kids in our family of a family of six children. And the doctors just told my parents. Well, there's. Always one in every litter. I not kidding you. I was in the room. There's my dad and myself. And my dad says well, okay. So my son Robert is one of six children. He's always sick. I'm always in this office with you. He's always getting antibiotics and drugs from you. Dr. How can I stop this? Why is this going on with him? When all the other kids seem to be not impacted as much as him. And they said, well, John there's one in every litter. He's the one he'll probably be living with you the rest of your life. I mean, that's the kind of conversation that went on. And I'm sitting there taking all this in wondering. Okay. So here it is folks, I was extricated from all this nonsense and disinformation misinformation and lack of information when I learned that most of the time we get sick through. Our nasal cavity things we breathe in and there's actually something you can do about it. Therefore, I recruited an expert to come on the show to talk about it. We're going to be discussing the revolutionary health benefits of something called Zylicz hall. Spelled X Y. Why L I T O learn that and own it because the more you learn about xylitol, and you imply it to your body. The better off you're going to be both in your nasal cavity and your oral cavity. "Thanks to you the doctor Bob Martin show. This guy. That's absolutely true years ago. When I first started out in the health talk show arena. Mid seventies. I think it was like nineteen seventy six thousand nine hundred seventy seven. I. I started a health talk show in Denver, Colorado called health talk. And I subsequently found out that somebody on the west coast. I'm sorry. The east coast of the United States was using that same name, and I said to my wife, Honey, there's another talk show out there. That's using health talk. I don't like it. I don't want to be confused with person on the east coast. So I think I'll change it to the doctor Bob margin shell she's that sounds good. Honey, go knew that. And so I did. And here we are today. So I don't like people grabbing names close to my name, my guest at first I thought, well, he's grabbed my name. This is like he stole my identity and his name is rob Martin. And then I found not only is his name sexy like mine, but also he's a talk show host. And he's a nutrition expert, I'm thinking, wow, I'll close. Can you get? But then I found out that I'm younger. So I'm wondering who stole what? He's back with us here on the show. And as I nouns to you stick around because at the end at the end of his interview, we're going to have a Turkey. Call contest. In eleboration going into the thanksgiving holiday. We do this as their tradition on this radio show each and every year, and we have for many many years. Usually, it's just myself, and my co pilot on the other side of the glass Darren going at it and this year, however, since we have a guest on the weekend going into the thanksgiving holiday. We're gonna have our guest rob Martin he's gonna chime in. I wanna see if he can pull it off because he could come from behind win the contest. But anyway, we're going to get a serious topic on this is name is rob Martin so close he's just a brother from another mother. And it's all it is the name is close. We're not related, but I wouldn't mind having me as a relative. He's a nice guy. But I can tell you this rob he always brings to the table. Something interesting something we can count on to deliver breakthrough science impacting quality and length of life. And today is no exception to the rule. He's here today with us. We've invited him back on the program. We've had so much positive feedback from our last opportunity to talk to rob. And he's very gracious about his time. When discussing the topic of telomeres now, get that in your telomeres? We're gonna we we're gonna define that. But I can tell you this just if you just do a quick search on the inner just put the word in telomere T E L O M E R E. You're gonna come up with all kinds of different articles age related disease protection with long telomeres loss of a close. Family member will shorten your telomeres, supporting telomeres. These are all topical articles in the journals medical journals, supporting telomeres for longer health spans. Here's another one short telomeres linked to diabetes risks. And here's the last one telomeres, tell of stress anybody under stress, they're going to shorten their telomeres. So what our telomeres, and what the heck did they have to do with health anyway? And let's go ahead and welcome back to the program, rob margin. Good day to you. Rob. I'm still laughing from the intro, by the way, my wife periodically calls me a Turkey. So watch out. Well, we're going to give you a chance at the end to get it all out of your system. I can tell you that. All right. Let's let's set the foundation here in this is a serious topic. Because it's the health is a serious topic. But I want people to understand that they have a lot more power and a lot more control of their health than we've ever learned before. Let's begin with the definition of what telomere is, rob. So that people understand what we're discussing. Here is absolutely look this is I opening health information. It may be the most important health. If the mation you'll ever hear this is not an exaggeration now. Telomeres those protective caps on our our chromosomes the DNA caps. Right. And what happens is they shorten over time. This similar to those plastic tips at the ends of your shoelaces that wear and tear. But when you tell him he is breakdown.

Could blue light reduce blood pressure?

Could blue light reduce blood pressure?

"Be light light as ever. But blue light is better for people who have blood pressure issues and a lot of people have blood pressure issues, and some don't even know about it. It is the silent killer exposure to blue light lowers person's blood pressure. That's what new research out says after fourteen healthy men were exposed to blue light for just a half hour their blood pressure levels, reduced just about as much as blood pressure lowering drugs. Blue light stimulates the release of nitric oxide. We've talked about nitric oxide on this radio show. Many times how exercise causes the release of nitric oxide, beet juice or beats eating beats releases nitric oxide. Here's another way to do it without doing anything, and they're working on this. The researchers from the university of Surrey and Heinrich Hainan university in Dusseldorf in Germany. Exposed men over their bodies with this. Pure blue light for about thirty minutes. Comparing it to about a daily dose of sunlight, by the way, it's comparable to a daily dose of sunlight, and unlike of course, when you get too much sunlight or ultraviolet rays, you might get sunburned. That's not a good thing. But they're experimenting with this blue light. And this would be an actual treatment. Very soon there in the developmental stages on this because they're trying to find ways non-drug ways to help people with blood pressure because some people their response to blood pressure lowering drugs is recalcitrant they just don't respond or they have side effects that stops them from complying with what their doctor wants them to do in that is to get their blood pressure down. So they don't risk a heart attack or a stroke risk damage damaging there is at the kidneys are their brain or blowing something else out. So you may see this in the very near future. Where blue light therapy is available. It's not available right now. But it is coming. In the meantime, there's no reason why you cannot during times of the year when it's available take in smaller amounts of sunlight, not to the extent where you get a sunburn never ever do that. But small amounts of sunlight, maybe before ten AM or after three pm or in between the hot zone where the sun is higher in the sky, especially during the summer months, you take in maybe fifteen twenty minutes of sunlight, exposing maybe all seventy percent of your body to sunlight not ever getting a sunburn that will release nitric oxide. So sunlight does the same thing in effect that blue light does. However, the sunlight if you get too much of it with the altar via raise it can create damage and free radicals from the sunlight, so the key is smaller doses. More frequently and tell which time research, this research has come to fruition where you can or somebody can for you you walk into a place, and they're able to shun blue light. Pure blue light on your skin, a good majority of it and lower your blood pressure until you can figure out the causes of the blood pressure elevations, which is usually stress overweight. In many other factors salt, not enough exercise, lots of factors associated with it. Or

New study links processed meats to breast cancer

"Show a link between tumors cancerous tumors that start in the breast associated with women. More commonly those women who eat hot dogs and burgers on a regular basis. Women who consumed the most processed meat were nine times nine percent. I should say more likely to develop the disease, breast cancer. According to a meta analysis and data of twenty eight previous studies world cancer research fund recommends cutting out red meat altogether. Here in the US, the so-called experts don't recommend a specific limit. Of course, they don't because why. Well, the cattle industry rains here. They have made many. Lobbyists that can can really rain in any kind of education on this process. And it's not that red meat necessarily is unhealthy for you in eating once in a while. I don't eat red meat haven't had red meat in forty years. I grew up on it in the mid west. But we're talking here about processed meats, mostly vacant hotdogs. Now listed as carcinogenic by the international agency of research on cancer, a branch of the World Health Organization. The same agency also says red meat is a probable carcinogenic agent. Now, of course, you know, Marta. The problem is how we adulterate meets we feed these animals, the wrong stuff antibiotics and hormones and bovine growth hormones and recombinant hormones, and they get all kinds of stuff in their bodies that are passed on to those people who bury their carcasses in their bodies the amount of processed meat in the American diet has dropped in recent years, but millions of people still easily exceed the proposed limit which they don't even list. The new research by Harvard University offers another reason for women to keep cutting out hot dogs and hamburgers and red meat in general, mainly because it increases their risk of. Of breast cancer by nine percent. And they believe that is significant and we're not just talking about hot dogs and hamburgers. We're talking about salami bacon ham, corned beef put that on the list. So the goal here would be to consume more omega rich fish, and maybe some organic poultry and stay away from the red meat. And a specially the processed red meat's. That's for sure. All right. We're going to go back to your telephone calls and your questions now. And we'll say Hello to as always. Thank you question up. Read something in a paper a correlation between taking ibuprofen Advil stuff like that and ovarian cancer at women. No, I don't know. There's a truth to that. It really is nobody thinks it's going to be and they may feel that it's not if they're lonely, but it can creep up on you. And we'll get back to that conversation of no moment. So stick with us for the entirety of the program next hour and the next hour after that now, let's get back to this conversation about loneliness and how Harvard University researcher, Dr Charles Bullock, put out a big message saying that loneliness can be big time dangerous to your health and urges people that other people are the antidote and are the medicine because when you look at the social interactions that we supposedly have today all the connections, online, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat. They're all in more. They're allowed there. And yet the studies now show that. That we are getting lonelier all the time. Even though those social those social media interactions are out there that exist. We live in the most technologically connected age in the history of civilization yet rates of loneliness have doubled since the nineteen eighties. And you would think just the opposite with the ease of social connective. Right. Well, it's far more widespread than people believe loneliness, and like many illnesses that are related to our mental and psychological state. It gets swept under the rug and exists in the shadows. Because it's not like a wound that somebody's bleeding or somebody is coughing or somebody. That's not urinating. It's just in between your ears. It's not just that loneliness itself is an emotional. But it's also a societal illness. It actually has detrimental effects on the.

Our special guest is. Punday? He's the vice president of scientific affairs. Now, I could go on and on page after page. With his CV his bio, but let me just give you the crop down. Brief Reader's Digest condensed version of it, Dr pod day, our guest speaker from America's finest Inc. Holds a PHD in Fido chemistry from our L A Wendy university. He has both a masters degree in science and a bachelor's degree in science from look now university he is the author of several several trade and peer reviewed publications and by applying his chemistry knowledge to the ingredients of dope. Four hundred which we have discussed on this radio show. He brings a refreshing viewpoint on the understanding of how these ingredients work, and how they may be able to benefit you in a variety of ways. And with that let us welcome for the very first time to the dog, doc, Dr Bob Martin, show dot. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule because I know you're busy, and I know you're very knowledgeable this category. And you give speeches and lectures all over the world. Let's begin by talking about just the basics. What is the dope of four hundred? And where does it come from? Four hundred is actually a mixture billions extract, which is standardized to leave tobacco. And I'll talk to you about standardization, which is really important concept. Photo viewer listener Stu understand is in Mino acid, which our body makes it's also made by some plans animals for biology. For human. Topa or MTA is really essential for making for for making the dopamine, which of this new transmitter? So a good source. A natural herbal extract source is the mccranie Koreans Komitch the. Dave isolate this compound, and and it to do for me. Okay. So the Dr do a certain people have a greater need for. This neuro transmitter late at OPA compared to let's say someone else says it's something that were born with that we have a propensity towards a greater need for it. Or is it just that certain people just don't make enough of it? Because of let's say their genetic background. And as a result of that they may suffer from some disease associated with the deficiency of that brain chemistry or neuro transmitter. A mixture of reasons for for having a dopamine deficiency in certain cases, some new degenerative conditions required. More dopamine because party does not make up. Bring does not make sufficient. I can give you one of them. Most likely in in in general population. If you're finding lack of focus could be internal factors like fatigue stress, lack of sleep or external factors of our our our emails. Phones and other places, which we come across Devi, you might be lacking dopamine sufficient dopamine in your body, and that is where you need to supplement in order to get an optimum level or requiring even of attention, focus and mood and cognitive deficiencies. That's interesting that you bring that up the lack of focus or a person suffering from fatigue because most Americans Dr Pandey believe that is related to a caffeine deficiency. And that if they consume more caffeine, I don't care if it's a Cup of coffee or a energy drink that's laced with caffeine that they're fatigue goes away and their focus improved. So why don't why don't they just stay with the caffeine since they're already using that? Why would they have to use something like the the doper four hundred? Question. Caffeine is more like a stimulant and dopamine dopamine is your new transmitter very very chemical, which is released by the brain which helps your own to transfer information takes part in in movement in learning process and so on so he's not talking about. You're not talking about stimulant here. We're talking about for widening the body sufficient amount. So that it can benefactor the dopamine now someone may see why don't we just take the dopamine itself? Dopamine itself. Cannot be let's see salt or it'll be before it can reach to the bring. In fact, it cannot cross the blood brain barrier. So doper becomes which is actually a precursor to this, neutrons, meter dopamine. So dope. A safe and fit to week to help. Synthesize dopamine inside the dough packing cross. It does not big downing or in the gut and can easily be met up by the sales, which makes it open. So that he can have. Neurotransmitter which plays a very important role in our daily life. I would say that it does especially if anybody has the opportunity to do this when we finished with the interview, go do a Google search on just the word dopamine, and what physiological functions are reliant upon this neurotransmitter, and you're going to see a long list of maladies, and infirmities that are associated with the possibility of deficiency or not enough dopamine in the brain. And that includes what he just talked about focus fatigue problems. But you go down the list, and it's long we're talking about this possibility of this neurotransmitter being deficient in people who have blood sugar challenges blood pressure problems, not able to put on lean muscle mass and keep it certain people who have a propensity to addiction from a variety of substances. People don't recover well after exercise or people have libido. Oh, issues mental stress, depression, and the problems that are associated with Parkinson's disease, a degenerative, brain disease, all of these could be tied into the deficiency of this important critically important neuro transmitter called dopamine, and how dope before hundred now the breakthrough nutritional supplement could provide relief for millions of people. We're going to get back into that conversation in just a little bit. Stay with us. You're listening to the doctor Bob Martin..

Experimental Addison fouled that dead and dying cancer cells created by, chemotherapy trigger inflammation which in, turn, promotes aggressive tumor growth or more cancer. So what does somebody. Do, if they get a cancer diagnosis God forbid and somebody says well you need to go see, an oncologist you're a cancer specialist well. You need to think about that and then think about making sure. The program what is the latest news out in, the, healthcare, journals, about turmeric Yes Dr Martin the latest news is showing that there's benefits for for. Neuro degenerative types of diseases that helps to prevent memory loss with Tariq and it has the, benefits of helping to prevent that inflammation the hidden inflammation that. People don't realize they had that goes. On within the brain cells and this is very important because this inflammation is what destroys those brain cells but tomb break prevents. Brain cell death and also increases neural transmitter production within the brain sales which. Is the signaling chemicals from brain cell to brain, cell, it prevents, the, degenerative, types, of, diseases, research is, showing, remember, the, hippocampus and the cortex, of the. Brain are the parts of the brain. That. Handle learning and memory and the two turmeric is able to prevent that inflammation. Slow that process down and this is the types of problems like Memory loss, Alzheimer's. People who have these brain issues they don't feel they don't say well yeah. That they notice they're forgetting the little. Things like phone numbers people places directions to places things that they normally could recall suddenly they lose it because they don't realize. There's so much inflammation going on with the brain that the neuro chemistry in. The brain is now being altered and the The nerve cells are not communicating. As well as they used to their not as sharp memory wise as quick as they used to be am I pretty much describing what is really going on here That is correct Dr Martin and this is these are. The little subtle, changes that they'll start, to notice in their daily activities are living like wow I forgot. What it's going to get to the grocery store, where like put my keys is their name I remember them but watching the. Navy they. Just can't quite bring it to the tip of their tongue this is showing hidden inflammation within the brain sales but to, wreak can. Wearing Neckties Can Reduce Blood Flow

"To get healthy advice and get better feeling wise and well people to stay that way welcome everyone welcome to this hour of the doctor bob martin show thank you for tuning into the program today i want you to stick around because a little bit later in the hour i'm going to introduce you to a special guest we have today who's going to be talking about a topic that we all need to learn more about and that is how to extend our lifespan how to actually survive longer as human beings based on longevity research in science this longevity expert and nutritional researcher will be with us this hour to disclose the latest breakthrough in long jeopardy and you should be listening to this this is an important topic now before we get to that conversation later in the hour let's talk about what german researchers have discovered and i gotta tell you that innately new this was wrong for me years ago when my father tried to teach me how to tie a necktie n to use a necktie knowing that someday soon in my future and i can't remember i was probably a young teenager at the time and he said son you need to learn how to tiny necktie so here we go we're gonna learn and he pulls out a necktie out of his closet and he tries to teach me how to do that and i eventually got the tie on it but i just i didn't feel right ty was around my neck cinched up i just felt like i was really literally any cinched into a not that was suffocating me and perhaps it was because of that time i suffered from problems associated with asthma and other problems i felt like i had a noose around my neck and somebody was tightening it up and that's exactly what was going on and so i didn't like it i wasn't interested in it and as a doctor all the years that i as a darker i never wore neckties that went around my neck all the way i figured out a way to where it's high and look professional without having to do that so what i did is i found these neckties you actually clip on and you wouldn't know they were not real neckties the kind that tie around your neck you would not know that they were excellent looking fine quality and i wore them because i wanted to look professional for my patients that came in that expected that but here's the new information out of german scientists these neckties restrict blood flow to the brain that's what the study finds suggesting men who wear t shirts in the office maybe producing better work ties are something of a standard office where for men in many different job styles whether it be a doctor a lawyer or a managerial or somebody who's required to wear a necktie they wanna look professionally wanna look chris dressing for success right i read the book but a new study warns the accessory of these neckties could be hampering a person's work performance by compressing veins that are key to blood flow to the brain and maybe this is what i knew innately years ago when my dad tried teaching me how to tie a necktie around my neck and i felt like i was being hung in a news and i just didn't want it it didn't feel right and i tried it subsequent to that too and it just didn't feel right to me the study on men in germany found a statistical significant drop in brain functioning among men who wore neckties during an mri scan with blood flow down almost eight percent that's significant blood reduction to the brain well that kind of decrease would not trigger obvious symptoms like you wouldn't fainter or anything experts are now warning that it may be enough to impact cognitive functioning in other words you're thinking process your memory your work output of the main computer you have on your body called your brain now the findings are something of an endorsement for the increasingly popular tech bro uniform championed by mark zuckerberg and the late steve jobs they all were kind of casual at work nobody wears neckties some people discourage that complained about it you remember when a zuckerberg came and testified in front of congress they were all praying he'd wear a necktie instead of the t shirts and he's always.
