"So go to link dot am wager dot com slash HR and to sign up and get your bonuses and wager built by horse players for horse players and speaking of am wager they were red hot with their value plays last weekend on the M wager weekend stakes preview, Commonwealth stakes went to 11 to one shot hear me sing, who was their value play of the race, paid $25 and 60 cents to win in the shaker town stakes. Their value play was bad beat Brian. He was 40 to one. He didn't win, but he ran a good second behind the favorite caravel, paid over $23 to place. And by the way, the dollar exact underneath the breeder's cup champ paid $84 and 18 cents will be giving you those am wager plays some of their key plays as we go along during tonight's show. All right, we're going to start at keenland Dave. And the first race we're going to talk about is the Giant's Causeway. This is a race that's worth a quarter $1 million for Phillies and mayors sprinting 5 and a half furlongs on the turf. I'm not really sure how you associate the name giants causeway who was a male long distance runner to a Philly and mayor turf sprint. However, it's very nice that they have a name, a race named in his honor. Really, really nice full field here, 15 were entered 12 will run, and by the way, want to start off by saying that the am wager key horse in this race is a 6 to one shot. Number 12 star divine for the team of Jorge Abreu and Jose Ortiz had juicy this race. I felt like this was a race I needed for him to win to help sort out that revolutionary technology, the analytics allow you to handicap a race really, really quickly. This one took me a long time and the pick that am wager comes up with started divine is a horse that I'm going to use in some manner or facet. The problem is, I'm going to need to use a whole bunch of them in here. I think it's a wide open affair. Number ten Twilight gleaming is Wesley ward. First is a four year old in ward is absolutely killing it as he's so normally does at Keenan. This horse has tremendous kick early and you wonder in this race how much early speed is there. There's no doubt this is a 5 and a half for a long turf sprint or a war is going to be in the lead. Creative credit is going to be running early that there are several of them that I expect to be pushing Twilight gleaming, but I don't know that it's going to be a suicidal pace. Twilight gleaming is running kind of good every time. Last time I lost a caravel and kind of gave way the last, I don't know, 8th of a mile or so, but it's first is a four year old. First off, a layoff. It's ward. And I think Twilight gleaming with irad Ortiz is going to sit a pretty good trip. You look at the form 5 wins in 9 starts three seconds, but a couple of those races came against boys, beat boys in Europe. And I think Twilight claiming needs to be better tomorrow to win, but I think first is a four year old we're going to see better tomorrow. I like am wage or star divine. Last time out, final race of 2022 was a really good one and prior to that had been competing against really high end horses lost to caravel in the Franklin back in October and while wasn't putting together a ton of wins was kind of consistently putting together good races. Think he could sit or she could sit a nice trip just off the pace, start divine if she can build on that last race. I think is very viable in here. The 11 horse little jewel looks like a price opportunity beat a couple of the horses in here last time out of 5 year old but each race is better than the last and this is a very lightly race horse, only four career starts. Number three, happy soul is another Wesley ward horse the lone race on the side was really good and now you get first as a four year old and are of war is of course who's run really well. I mean, what is it? Ten out of 16 and 5 straight wins and 9 of ten. I do think this is stepping up in class but could sit a nice trip just off the pace working very well and fits in here nicely. I picked Twilight gleaming. I'm expecting a step forward. I think this is a horse they've always had very, very high expectations for, but boy, you can go on a lot of different directions. And I will use that form to win choice of star divine. All right, so Twilight gleaming for Dave, number ten, 9 to two on the morning line. He has top selection in the Giants causeway. I went to the California based runner number 5 Amy C she was going to be the favorite in the grade three Monrovia this past Saturday at San Anita race that was taken off the turf through no fault of mother nature. It was simply overwatering in an unsafe turf course so they had to move some races over the weekend from the turf over to the dirt and the Monrovia was probably the biggest of the races that was moved from the turf to the dirt. So instead of running down the hill at San Anita, they shift to another part of the country. One good thing, the bad is that she was not planning to run in this race. The good is she's been ready to run for at least a week now. She probably would have been favored in the Monrovia. I think a repeat of either of her last two starts, albeit those being down the hill at San Anita is a good enough to make her a major player in the Giants causeway. It's not a grade three race, but it's still a quarter $1 million race and you get 6 to one on Amy C I think she's where I'm going in the Giants causeway. Moving forward to the 9th race tomorrow at keenland. This is the grade three, $400,000 Lexington, mile and a 16th on the main track for the three year olds. And as Dave mentioned, only one of the 11 runners can do anything in this race to change the points as far as the leaderboard toward this year's Kentucky Derby goes. And that is Steve asim's disarm, who's 7 to two on the morning line. He's sitting at 40 points right now, which means if he finishes first, second or third Dave, he'll have enough points to automatically qualify for this year's Kentucky Derby. That being said, he's no cinch to be for a second or third in this race. Yeah, I can't separate about 5 of them in here. I think they all have really good claims as to why they could win the race. Disarm is a sonic gun runner who ran pretty well in the Louisiana Derby getting 40 points ran second beaten three and a half by kings Barnes and prior to that his face good horses debuted against most strike and then blew away maidens at Saratoga. Second place effort was fine in an optional claiming race at Oakland. There's no reason not to take a positive stance on disarm. They're too proud cock sources in here. Both of them are very, very lightly raced demolition duke and first mission first mission is a godolphin. Both of these horses have a win and a second and both of their places came behind bishop bay, who is a $450,000 Brad Cox horse who has run really well twice. First mission lost to bishop space first time out and then rebounded to win in a maiden special way going away by 6 and three quarter lengths. I don't know how good that field was. Demolition duke first time out one and it was an okay field and then came back and lost to bishop's bay by a neck and an optional claimer. I think either of those could run really well on or very viable in here. Then you've got baffert's Arabian Lion, a $600,000 son of justify who looked really good debuting at Santa Anita in October, then came back on the undercard of the breeder's cup and ran an okay second as the favorite didn't run great in the Los alamitos futurity and then returned in the bob Lewis and ran reasonably well. It was a pretty good field. The fig came back strong, but it was a fourth place performance in a four horse field. I know that Arabian line is a horse that they have very, very high expectations for an irad Ortiz takes them out and finally Belmont empire strikes fast, who was

"We love you to be a part of the show tonight. 8 8 8 9 6 6 four 7 7 6 8 8 8 9 6 6 8. Nice group of stakes races coming up this weekend, including three with qualifying points for The Kentucky Derby, the Sam F Davis at Tampa along with the withers at aqueduct and the el Camino real Derby at Golden Gate fields if you have a strong opinion on one of those races we would love to get it. What I'm most interested in tonight, though, is the Triple Crown nominees. 18 percent bump from last year, 369 horses nominated that's 57 more horses than last year, but Boyle whole lot of them are from the same folks. Brad Cox has 38 Todd pretres 36 and though not named there are a whole bunch from the Bob Baffert barn, which also leads to the question of Kentucky Derby future pool number four opens up tomorrow and while forte is the 8 to one favored an instant coffee is 12 to one and verifying is 15 to one. It's all other three year olds that is the morning line favorite at two to one and that includes all of the Bob Baffert horses, which a month from now will quote unquote not be Bob Baffert horses including Arabian night who has been so impressive in two starts thus far. James Scully is with me tonight, James, how are you? Doing great, Dave. Pleasure to be joining you and I'm excited to talk horse race in this evening with you and our listener, so give us a call if you have any questions. You're right. It is a busy weekend. There are actually three Kentucky Derby qualifiers going on. And you mentioned The Kentucky Derby future wager pool. I think what you get to February a day, but February and March gets a little interesting because this is a change this year where you have 40 wagering interests. There are 39 individuals in the pool for this weekend and it creates the opportunity for more value than in past years in that future wager. It's to me obvious that what you think of the Bob Baffert horses is a huge portion of the handicapping for this wager. This is the time of year last year where I made a wager on all other three year olds. Bob Baffert did not win the Derby, but rich strike did, and he was among the all other three year olds. We'll call that sort of lucking in to a small victory. What do you make of that group of runners that's not included in this pool? Well, I think at the top, they're formidable. I think he has three that are among the top ten contenders right now. Obviously Arabian night is probably on the top would be at the top of most people's lists based on his southwest return. And then you have new gate who just won their bob Lewis and reincarnate who won the sham. And I think both those colts have upside and are bred for the distance. They still have to prove it, but they have something going for them. So I think from those three, those three would be, you know, would be top contenders if they were listed and would be part of my thinking on the all others. You know, I think the rest that he has a lot of promising prospects, but they still have something to prove to him. So if you take the baffert horses, plus everyone else not on this list and it's still early enough that a horse who hasn't run or maybe is run once that is not among these 39 horses. What do you think the percentage chance of someone that's that's not on this list? And that includes, I think the favorite, if you were to pick one horse Arabian night, if you grouped all those sources together, what percentage chance do you think the winner of The Kentucky Derby is not on this group of three year olds would be choice number 40 all other three rolls? Oh, there's a good percentage. I mean, I mean, if all three horses were listed individually in this pool for, you know, with the knowledge that they were going to move on or back for was a suspended. I think they would all be bent down. I mean, his horses get bent down in these future wagers. But I still think, you know, at this early date, you know, there's a lot to be proven. And to me, betting in future wager pools in February, three months out, is more about value than trying to cash a ticket on a large grouping. Well, it's interesting you say that because I don't think those two things have to be the same thing. Two to one odds indicate an implied probability of 33%. If you think there's a 40% chance of all other three year olds winning a large wager on that group presents value. Now, if you think that there's a 25% or a 30% chance that it's all other three year olds, then one or more of the 39 listed horses creates value. Is there one or two of those that you're interested in? eBay from the others, yeah. I mean, I would put that I would still generally say, you know, based on past results and you know, like to me, I look at Arabian night, I'm still putting him on a different level from even new gate and reincarnate. And you know, there have definitely been some horses that have gone through the year Nyquist and others and have been favored in all the pools and have come have won the Derby, but the percentages of that are way below 35 of our 30% Dave. Just a raw statistics. It's a small percentage. And you know, I still need to see more. I mean, I love to read the style which way Arabia night did it. But it was on a wet track and he was lone speed. And one thing that history shows is that, hey, I mean, the horse might be a special talent, but still when they have everything their own way like that, they have something to prove. This is the brisnet dot com call in show. We'd love you to be a part of the show tonight. 8 8 8 9 6 6 four 7 7 6 8 8 8 9 6 6 hr and not to belabor the point, but Arabian night doesn't have to be 33% newgate doesn't have to be 33%. Every horse, aside from the 39 listed combined have to be more than 33% to create value on that two to one price on all other three year olds. What price did you get on all others last year in pool four? I got, oh, that's a great question. It was, was it two to one? I don't think it was 5 to two. I think it was two to one, but it could have been 9 to 5. Yeah, I

"Network. A wild first quarter of 21 and two 5th seconds and it's another 35 to one turning for home with the lead. On the outside here comes the faded orientate and he's driving the thunderer who's holding on thunder Ella one for long to go. Still there three quarters of the leg orientate full of driving second on a gold crafty CT. The kissing thunder redder oriented is surging here many Terry Billy. Here's the wire. Orientate Ben's in the final strides to defeat thunder ello, crafty CT finishing third. It was close before it between going to gold and pillow can queen. Now here's Bobby Newman and Dave Friedman. Good evening and welcome to the weekend stakes preview here on HR RN. I'm Bobby Newman along with Dave Freeman. We've got a dozen races from around North America to look at this evening Dave, great stakes action multiple stakes races at both Santa Anita and Gulf Stream park tomorrow we've also got a nice stake in Oak Lawn back with a couple of stakes on Sunday at San Anita as well. We originally thought we were going to cover 13 races tonight on the weekend stakes preview. But the withers was part of that Saturday card at aqueduct, which had been canceled today's card at aqueduct canceled. Tomorrow's card at aqueduct canceled due to extreme cold, so the withers will instead go next Saturday, February 11th, the means we'll cover it on next Friday's show. Yeah, we'll look forward to that next weekend, but we've got a nice selection of races. I've got a couple of horses at prices that I like a little bit this weekend and I'm looking forward to getting your perspective. Well, as the show opened, we heard the stretch run of the 2002 breeders cup sprint thanks to Tom durkin orientate getting the job done just over 20 years ago and now orientate who was owned in partnership by bob and Beverly Lewis. There is a race tomorrow at San Anita named in honor of the late Robert B Lewis. Of course, the Lewis owns so many great horses in the mid 90s all the way through the early 2000s. Of course, Kentucky Derby winners silver charm and charismatic two of the most recognizable commendable another one that they owned, of course, orientate breeders cup sprint winner Serena's song Hennessy, Santa catarina. It seemed like whenever you saw those big stakes races around the country you saw the green and yellow silks of bob and Beverly Lewis. And bob Lewis, I don't know what he would think. Of the race that's named in his honor tomorrow because it's not something that we see very often if ever in racing. It is, well, let's put it this way. It was supposed to be a points qualifier on the road to this year's Kentucky Derby. It's race number three at Santa Anita tomorrow. Grade three event for the three year olds going a mile and a 16th. There were 16 horses nominated to the Robert B Lewis stakes. 14 of those 16 horses are trained by Bob Baffert and when all the smoke cleared, only four horses were entered in the race and all of them Bob Baffert trainees, which of course Dave, as of now, means they are not eligible to earn any points toward this year's Kentucky Derby. And in fact, if they want to get points, eventually they're going to have to be moved to an eligible trainer's barn barring some strange overturning by a court in the case of Churchill downs against Bob Baffert, but as of now, we've got a field of four in the bob Lewis and with the exception of number four hard to figure the other three all look like they have big chances. Yeah, there's no question. Baffert is going to win this race for an 11th time and a 5th consecutive year one last year with messier and two years ago with Medina Spirit and you mentioned hard to figure is kind of the outsider and I think that makes sense just because we see four races just one win. Lost pretty badly to newgate who's in here last time out. That being said, the works recently are very, very quick and baffert does a very nice job off of layoffs. So I don't think hard to figure is completely impossible, though I'm not going to bet on hard to figure. I honestly, I'm not going to bet on anyone in this race because there are four horses and you're not going to get a very good price. Arabian lie in newgate and Worcester all look to be roughly the same in terms of their price, new gate is 8 to 5 is clearly run against the best competition and has been okay one out of 5, $850,000 son of inter mischief. I thought the last one was pretty good. The sham, a strong second and maybe you would have liked to see newgate win the race. But I thought it was a pretty good effort Arabian Lion. I think was a very hyped up horse has been the favorite all three times. First two races were pretty good. I have no idea what happened last time at Los alamitos. And Worcester is a maiden, but is running a pretty good competition and last time out. I thought ran a very quick race and a good race in a maiden race stepping up in competition here. I feel like I'm throwing darts between the three of them. I pick newgate, but I'm not betting. I have no strong opinion and it's not a particularly appetizing betting race. I agree with everything you said. I went to the three Worcester and I'm not a big fan of taking maidens against winners. But the fact is that Worcester, I think, is just as good if not better than these other winners that he's facing. And I think he's bred to be better long than short being by empire maker out of a super saver mayor. And he's done pretty well going short, I think he'll be even better going long. I'm going to try Worcester to get his maiden win in the grade three Robert B Lewis. Moving to the fourth race tomorrow at San Anita. It's the grade three megahertz. These are Phillies and mayors going one mile on the turf. We've got a field of 8 going to post here, Dave. And this is a race where not only is it tough to figure out who you like in the race, I'm not sure we can figure out who's actually going to be favored in the race. The morning line favored is number 6 school dance, a very tepid favorite at three to one fulfilled the motto and Ramon Vasquez. I think this is a great handicapping puzzle. And it starts with the pace of the race. I assume you think like most would that ham would fire is going to be a rolling out of the gate, how far ahead is him would fire going to be. It makes it kind of a jockey's race to anybody go with hamwood flyer, maybe the rail horse based storm is their pressure or the fractions quick or as him would flyer out alone if ham would fire us out alone is she good enough to go all the way. Last time out, she had a big, big lead and got run down by regal glory in the grade one matriarch. I'm not so sure a repeat of that effort or something along those lines wouldn't be good enough here. My suspicion is the base storm is going to go with ham wood fire or at least pressure a little bit. I think that school dance could sit a nice trip just off the pace. I think there are a lot of ways to go in here. I don't love the mile for base storm. It seems to me that base storm was a little bit better going shorter. I like that ham would flyer is getting one Hernandez. Today and I think it's distinctly possible that hamwood flyer could go gate to wire in here. I like the European form of number three, the debt. And I think second in this country, we should see an improved effort. And in the first one, really, it was pretty good in October, a solid second place, effort. Number 8 oakhurst gets flavian Pratt and certainly is going to be rolling down this stretch.

"Midway on the far turn to me. He's in a full drive. It looks like he's almost empty. He's been real trouble. And then all of a sudden he had like, I mean, he had like two years left, the way he won in hand by 7 and a half lens. It was really a remarkable race, I thought. And then in the sanding of Derby came back at second time out, you know, 5 weeks later. And messier came into that race off of like a 15 length win in the bob Lewis. And he looked like a real real serious Derby contender serious three year old. And he just got the perfect trip that day because forbidden kingdom stopped going in a far turn, which enabled messier who was stalking in second to just take a clear lead. He had a clearly at the top of the stretch, looked like he hadn't even been asked at that point by John Velazquez. And he was no match for taba in the final furlongs. Basically, Mike Smith took a hold of him going in the first turn. He sat up there and moved to second and then he ran down messier to win going away by three legs. I thought that was a monstrous race. I thought the wood with Mario and the sanding and Derby were the two fastest races by a wide margin, Mike, this spring for three year olds on the Bruce net speed ratings. The winners of both races got one 11 speed ratings and the wood memorial, the top two finishers from that race have already won the Preakness in Belmont. So I do think I thought that was a really quality effort that tied Iran that day. And while it didn't work out for him in the Derby, I think he's training well. And the advantage the thing I like about him in this spot is that he drew inside a Jack Christopher, which to me is going to put him right on the lead. I think he has a lot more quickness than cyber knife or howling time. And I think that Mike Smith is going to go right to the front with tiba. And I just think with Jack Christopher, you know, I've said this before, you know, his pedigree is built more like a game to me than to turn type horses. So I'm a little bit suspicious. If he was able to get to a lead, then I think that would help his chances. If he could just lead wire wire, but I think he's going to have to run down tava and I'm going to go with tabitha to prove this in the Haskell. Do you think taba goes favored over Jack Christopher or do you think it gets flipped around at post time? I think it gets flipped around and it's simply because tavis coming off a 12th and has a chink in his armor and Jack Christopher's four for four, you know, it's just smashing and those races. And I understand what Brad Thomas, I respect him, but I just think he's given too much deference to Bob Baffert. I mean, they'll be close in the way, Jerry, but I have no doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if Jack Christopher's four to 5 in tables like 6 to 5. I think you'll be a solid gap back to cyber knife and why to borrow a third or fourth in the bedding. If the two favorites don't show up and run their race, who would you pick to upset the apple cart? I would take cyber knife. I like him over a wider barrio and howling Tom and the others. I thought that, you know, he's a horse that still, to me, is putting it together. His fastest races are down the road. And I thought in that map when that was a better race than it looks like perhaps on paper. That was just what he needed. He really got a stiff test and he proved best and to me, he's going to move forward off of it. I just don't think he's still got to run fast races, which he has it yet. Okay. Number two, Teva in the Haskell in the second leg of this edition of the twin spires triple play for James Scully, who is my special guest again. You can call in and talk to James directly every week on our brisket dot com Colin show, which airs 6 to 7 eastern serious two 19 XM two O one and worldwide horse racing radio dot net. All right, James, let's move on to the final leg, which is the 6th race at delmar. This is 7 34 eastern four 34 on the West Coast. To me, I looked at this race after you sent it to me and said, this is a head scratcher. 6 and a half furlongs on the main track, $16,000 claimers, 9 winners are two lifetime. Who's going to be most consistent in here to win this thing? Well, let me just say first off, well, I like number 6 Tom bob Adele. And one thing I would just want to mention early in the delmar meet. I like playing horses with physician speed and good form and dirt sprints at delmar early in the meat. And I really like these last two efforts for number 6, Tom, bombadil. I thought, you know, you just look at those last two races, Mike, and he's showing improved tactical speed. He has earned a 96 brisket. I use these personal but in my press performances that have E one and E two pace ratings and face ratings. His numbers have risen significantly in his last two starts. He's been pushing the pace in both those races. I think he was really savvy claim by Ron Ellis and Gary fender finder, the owner, back two starts back. Because I really like those last two efforts he's coming out of. You know, I think he's going to get the right trip up close from the start with Edward model Donato and I think that number 8 sumo is not in good form. I just didn't like his races. Over the winter and this year, he hasn't shown any heart whatsoever yet and I think he's vulnerable in there and he's going to be way down for baffert. So this race had appealed to me because like I said, I think Tom bomb battle is in good form. He has good positional speed and there's a vulnerable favored in the race. I just want to hear you say his name one more time, James. Yeah, easy for you to say, right? Exactly. So number 6, Tom bomb battle, bombadil, I don't know. We'll go with one plus two. Bombadil? Okay. All right, so that is your pick in the final leg of this. And by the way, our producer Lee de la pina right on target saying that he is from Lord of the Rings. So I wouldn't know that. I don't watch the program, but there you go. Lord of the Rings, Tom bombadil. Yeah, I watched this race, so naturally I'm like sitting here butcher than his name. He may be lord of the 6th race at delmar. That's what his connections will be hoping for later today. And he is on the board right now at let's see. Four to one. Yeah, four to one. See, there you go. So I didn't even know. So there you go. Lee just said, Lord of the Rings is actually a book. It's not a movie? I didn't know. I thought it was a movie. What the hell do I know? See? I have no idea. Once I got past mash, once mashed went away, I stopped watching TV. That was it for me. Got your show in your age there, bye. All right, so there you have it. So those are the three races for this week's edition of the twin spires triple play with the James Scully. And James fantastic stuff. I mean, we'll see how it turns out, but we're going to go with number two the reds at 6 to one in race 9 at Saratoga to kick it off. We're going to go with taba, the 7 to 5 morning line favorite number two in the Haskell, and then the third leg is the 6th race at del mar, 11 horses, $16,000, not one is a two lifetime claimers. We'll go with number 6, Tom bombadil, to round it out. Boy, that would be fantastic. And I do want to remind our listeners one more time that each week when we do this segment, it's fun to take a look at three races. This is not a wager you can go to twin spires and play. You can't go the twin spires dot com and say, hey, I want to play the twins by triple play, but you can play each of these races individually at twins fires dot com.

"And one of the reasons that everything went south for those guys down in Venezuela is because they didn't follow Lewis's suggestions or recommendations and people started doing other things. And it led to exposure. So who knows how to turn out if Lewis had his way completely in that whole operation? Been 25,000 more kilos of cocaine. Yeah. So let's close out with this. One of the last things he said and I know you kind of pooh poohed it a little bit, but it Lewis was very serious when he talked to us about it. He said, you saved his life in more ways than one. I mean, I don't think it's just the getting arrested, but I think it was, you guys created kind of a unique relationship. What did Luis mean and how did he tell you when he says, look, you know, Eric you saved my life? One, well, he'd either be dead. Somebody, you know, something would have happened and somebody wouldn't be as forgiving as was in that particular case or he'd still be in federal prison. He died in federal prison. I mean, if they put everything on him, that he was responsible for him. His life sentence. And then the lifestyle too. You know, he got out of that lifestyle, being arrested, you know, in terms of the drugs and the heavy drinking and all that business. That'll kill you, too. So, you know, I mean, when he got out of jail, he was the first person he saw, you know? I met him at the hotel where he was staying and you know, we kind of established how we were going to continue cooperating. He's going to continue working with us. And he's continued to cooperate and work with you to this day just in other ways, right? You guys to actually still go out to dinner and get together. Yeah, he met my wife. Met our little toy pomeranian dog. We've met his current girlfriend and, you know, so yeah, yeah, and I know his sister. I've met his sister before and stuff. And I think there's a picture in the book, but there's another one too, right? Where you guys get together and it kind of completes the joke, doesn't he give a tie out? Yeah, when Jesse Fink was up here, the four of us had lunch with together, bob Lewis, myself and Jesse. And so it still Lewis a practical, you know, he loves to joke around and have a good time. So he got Harley, another tie. Present the tie to. Bob was still working at the time. He's since retired, but so bob was a little more reserved at that meeting because it worked for internal affairs. The Homeland Security. Could he actually accept the tire? Did he have to have Luis keep it for him? You know, it was under 25 bucks. It's under $25. I can't remember what the rules, what the rules were, but I know I never took anything because I never took anything, but that's why the bob was a little uncomfortable. But since there had been a history, I don't know. Do you know what? Think about this. All these cases, Steve, I mean, Murph, did you ever have a case where somebody just, it was kind of in a good natured way, but it was kind of like ribbing. It was kind of like ha ha, you can't catch me. Here's another tie. Never. Never. When somebody does that, it becomes personal. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I mean, we've had cases where people have left their calling card like a turd in the toilet or something like that, but I never got ties..

"And. Jails in a wind tunnel and I think that and I think that zandy right now is I know that past derbies aren't won by the horses with his style, but I just think that this horse has plenty of upside and he's going to be on the top of a lot of my tickets. Dale are you buying him or selling him? No, I'm buying him. He's a good horse trained by a great horse trainer and he was super impressed with the bluegrass. And I'd love to see a winner come out of the bluegrass. You got to figure in this wide open field. He's a major contender. All right, I'll stay with you for the next horse then. How about the bluegrass runner up, smile happy? Buying him or selling him. I love smile happy, but I'm selling. I don't think he can get the distance. I think he's been around past a couple of times by horses and when he stretched out more than a mile and a quarter. We got 20 horse field. I like the horse. I think you'll do some great things down the road, but I'm selling. Timmy? You know, this was a hard sell for me. You know, Kenny mcpeek has been so high on this course since the since he got him. And you know, but he's had this first start this year, there isn't star. He couldn't he couldn't to catch epicenter. Granted, that was his first start in three months. But then in the second start, he couldn't hold off sand on. So, you know, and Kenny was going into that race. He said something to the effect of you better have a bear to run against me if you want to beat me. And then afterwards, he said to the fact where he likes where he's at and that you can see the horse will be peak performance and the first Saturday in May, which he very well made. But I don't see it on the win end. He does a very, very nice horse. But I'm selling. All right, what about the Santa Anita Derby runner up messier buying or selling? I'll take this one first again. I think he might become my top pick. I think that he's got all the credentials going into the Derby and I think that even though he got beat, it wasn't his taxing or race on him. It could be straightened out ready to roll first Saturday in May. He was on everybody's short list. When he. Rolled to win the bob Lewis by 15 lengths, and you know, you got a party going on there and what? Out of trying to keep trying to spot a quiet and I keep moving from one of his not working out. But anyway, that's the, you know, he dominated in that race, the Lewis, and in the San Anita Derby, he got run down by taba. Stablemate was in his second start, messier is going to be a horse that's going to be prominent early in this race. There's no doubt about that. Whether or not he sticks around till the end, I don't know. I'm selling on him, even though I do respect and fear his speed. All right, that was fun. I'm going to pick three more horses next Saturday and then the following Saturday as well. And we'll see if you guys are still on them or maybe starting to think about selling on those forces as we get closer to the first Saturday in May. All right, topic number three, later today, keenland is going to host the final Derby points race. That's the Lexington stakes, which has produced 37 Kentucky Derby starters and two winners. We talked about those earlier, swale, and charismatic the only two horses that come from the Lexington and win the Derby. We could see a Derby starter or two emerge from this year's race, but guys should handicappers take courses coming out of this year's Lexington seriously, or should they simply cross them off and move on. Dale, you went at first. Yeah, I think this is such a wide open year. And I keep saying that, and I don't think this is a bunch of bad horses. I think there's a bunch of good horses. So whoever wins the election, I think, has to be considered a contender. I haven't seen many horses that I think are complete tosses. And I think a horse that runs big Alexa this year could come back and run very well in the derbies. Tim, what do you think? Dale, if a horse comes out of Lexington and wins the Derby, I'll wash your car every day at Saratoga. Okay, yeah. I like that. I like that because I think like we said earlier, I don't know where to Derby winners going to come from this year has been so different in my opinion. I think there's so many nice horses out there and there might be. I think there's some yeah, there are some nice forces in the Lexington, but I think there are definitely a cut below of the contenders that we've seen. And there's horses in here that obviously they need some points to get into the race. I mean, Brad's horse, Tony point, I believe he should be in already, but D Wayne's coming back on a week's rest with ethanol, E thorough road to get some points, call me midnight, major general, dash attack. I mean, damn, you gotta Halloween times in that race. Are you even looking towards the Derby with him? He wouldn't have enough points. Woody? If he wins, then they let me in. I'll be there. And he's doing very well. He's going to run a big race today. Because it's only 20 points to the winner, right? Yeah, but I don't get it might get down to 20. Yeah. Well, yeah, you don't know what the defections will be, but yeah, I think there's some nice horses in that race, but. Color me, the guy that says zero chance the winner of the Derby comes out of this race. How great would it be of howling time is the reason that Tim has to wash your car every single day at Saratoga? Wouldn't that be nice? And I believe I'll have that car muddy every day. Well, I know you would. But we're going to just beat dust in it off, too, I mean, I drive out fo I go find a place off road. Well, I think that I'm going to hold off on bringing my hose up there because I don't think I'm going to have to do it. Does that include vacuuming too? He has to vacuum it too, right? No vacuuming. It's just a splash of water on the windshield and off we go. All right, topic four before we get to our final segment, the winner of the week, claiming foul segment that we do every single week here on the program. All right, for Erie announced that they have hired a new announcer for their upcoming meat. That's a gentleman by the name of Doug McPherson. And that got me to thinking about some of the.

"Let's learn from that. That race there and try to do better next time out. So, you know, I think that for the most part, I have a really good report with most jockeys, but there are sometimes where you get a frustrating ride and then you get the short conversation of the horse didn't have it. Just didn't have it that day, something like that, which drives me nuts because it doesn't really give me much to build on for the next time. So like just some communication where both of us, what can we do better for the next time? All right, Billy. I appreciate the call. It's Billy and Indiana. Thanks so much, Billy. And don't forget, this is your chance to host the show with trainer Doug O'Neill. So if you have a question for Doug, this is your chance to ask it 888-966-4776. That's 8 8 8 9 6 6 hr. And by the way, so many of you have tried to get through over the past several weeks since we launched this new segment. And you've gotten a busy signal. So we said, you know what? We're all about our listeners. We now have a second phone line in the studio, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. Unless they're both full. So keep the calls coming. 888-966-4776 to talk with Doug O'Neill. Doug, I have a question for you. Yeah. We talk about your two Derby wins. I'll have another in Nyquist. How about the ones that you didn't win? Which one would you like to have back if you could do it over again? Wow, wow. Hi, rod Charlie. We're going to go on go too far back just this last year. But that's one just the brilliance of flavian proud who is such an amazing horseman, amazing jockey. And he got off and just like, I should have, you know, he had to tap on a break a little bit. Going past the grand stand the first time. And he was like, ah, I wish I hadn't done that. I wish I would just went on with it and maybe things would have been a little different. So that's probably the most fresh in my mind, but that was still a solid solid effort on Charlie's part and anytime you got a horse in the gate for Saturday May and then Kentucky Derby just you feel like you're already won just being there. And then when they show their a big effort, it's pretty amazing. All right, jer is in Louisville, Jared go ahead. You're hosting the show. You're on with trainer Doug O'Neill. Wow, I can't believe it. Doug, I just loved all have another. My favorite horse of all time. Made a lot of money on the Derby. And couldn't believe that he was not favored in the Preakness. They favored Bodhi Meister. And the race went off and it looked like it was all in Bodhi Meister's favor. No one was putting any heat on him. It was a shorter race. I'm thinking, ah, God. He's not going to get there today, but man, he just wouldn't be denied. My favorite race of all time. So my question is, when did you know I'll have another was as great as he was, and do you think he'd won the Belmont, if not for the injury? Wow. Yeah, thank you. Brought back a lot of great memories for me as well. You know, he won first time outside. That's always a great sign when a horse wins a straight maiden first time out, whether it be New York Florida, California, those races are uneasy or Kentucky. And I think he had some shit issues early on as a two year old and we game time off and when he came back and won the bob Lewis off that long layoff that was one I think we all looked at each other because it was kind of an ambitious spot to say the least and it was the first time Mario Guterres had ever ridden for us. And that was probably the moment that I thought, wow, this horse stays injury free. It could be some magic coming up here and yeah, and then to like you say the one near Derby in The Kentucky Derby and then that Preakness was just a dynamite Cuddy effort all the way down the lane. That was so cool. And the Belmont without a doubt. That's something that I lay at bed sometimes kicking myself because, you know, when you go when you get lucky enough to have a horse that can run in the Triple Crown, each track is a little bit different. And I think if I had it all ready to do again, I would have trained them a little bit lighter over the sandy Belmont track and it makes sense horses are coming in a little bit tired leg. After the Derby and the Preakness and I just kind of had this mindset that I was going to continue to train him the same way I did going into the Derby and going into the Preakness and, you know, I think that injury was probably due to maybe him having a little bit of tired legs and still putting in a top bit of exercise every morning and just.

But I do think you would have wanted to, he would have been injury free. I think he's four to 5 on the morning line that day and I don't think you would have been denied if you were to say without injury. Yeah, well, thank you for sharing that. Thanks for asking. I appreciate it. Jerry appreciate the phone call. 888-966-4776. The number to call and talk with trainer Doug O'Neill. We've got about 5 or 6 minutes left. Doug's a busy man. He has to get back to work, but he is here to take your phone calls HR and nation 888-966-4776, the number to call in. We do have an email here, Doug. It comes from, let's see, Chris in Florida who says other than The Kentucky Derby, what's been your favorite race to win? Probably the Japan cup dirt with fleet street dancer. It was just such a weird like 50 to one. And we were running against like the. John Henry other C biscuit of Japan with some horse and I, his name escapes me, but he had one. I think the previous two years running of it and he was odds on and really the people's horse there in Japan and here we were 50 to one. We were just so honored that we got invited and we got a free trip to Japan and police through dance to his training rate. So we took a chance and it was just a nose bob and we her nose ended up on the right end of that nose bob 50 to one. So I'd say that Japan cup there was probably the other than that Derby's would be the most shocking, exciting race that I can think of. Yeah, that's a cool story. Let's go back out to the phone lines. Bobby is in bayside Bobby, you're hosting the show. You're on with Doug O'Neill. Go ahead. Hey, all saint trainer. You are absolutely a credit to the game. "He got the winner's share of the purse. Of course, he didn't get any points because he's trained by Bob Baffert, but what did you think of his effort? I thought it was by far the most impressive visual and performance of the that I've seen from a three year old this year. And it was also the fastest. I mean, let's face it. I think a lot of these preps why to barrio got a number in the 90s, you know, early voting got low 90 around a 90. A lot of these prep races haven't been fast, but he got a one O four speed rating from brisnet, he got a 100 lay pace rating. You know, I mentioned earlier, you know, I tried not to get too carried away by horses that off a big front running wins where they have everything in their own way and they're going to face different circumstances in upcoming starts. But I got nothing but good to say about messier because I thought his first two turn effort was a terrible charity. I thought he was spent by the top of the stretch, slow down Andy who beat him that day was like all over the place running in and out and such and it wasn't, it did look good at considering how well he had run in his previous two sprint starts for him going longer. But he certainly turned around that opinion in the bob Lewis. He's so exciting from a pedigree perspective being by empire maker and out of this smart strike mayor, he's got all these classic winners in his pedigree and he took a big step forward. I mean, that was just a much improved race. He looks like he looked the part of a serious serious three year old Messi I did in the bob Lewis. While he certainly could be a serious three year old, the question is, what races will this series three year old run in and who will he be running for in the next few months? We're going to take another break when we come back, I'm going to ask James specifically about that. And we love your opinions as well. The phone lines are open. "But yeah, but then ready soul who was 5 to two, so much higher odds in terms of percentage wise, a friar wrote, but really not all that much higher in general. And it was paying like 20 bucks. And so I always love to watch the little betting things and Emily does a good job of talking about all that stuff on her Twitch thing. So make sure to check that out. But hot rod Charlie, that race to me was the most kind of interesting. I know of course flight line was the big race and the big conversation. But hot rod Charlie, they took the blinkers off and, you know, after the race, of course, everybody's like, oh, he's got a little idol in him. He's got a little hang and, you know, we've talked about that before and maybe made that as a little bit of the case. With him, but, you know, he turned for home and he looked like he was going to go by 8 rings. Not easy, but like he looked like momentum wise that he was kind of going to do that and the minute they straightened out to date rings dig back in? Sure. 8 rings fought, cut all the way to the wire. Express train who was sitting just in behind kind of had I thought a little bit of a garden trip in relation to the top two just grinding them down. You know, because those horses sometimes they get in a battle down the stretch and they're so consumed with that horse right next to them that gets picked up by the one moving further out of the outside. But express train a hot rod Charlie end up going by in the final little blips, express train, look to kind of take the lead with the strider two to go and hot rod Charlie got the head bob of all head bobs and express trains head with straight back and the photo ended up really close. I've set out here before Frank's a good friend of mine and I would never text him on opening day at San Anita just because big days. I want to be left alone. So I assume everybody else does. He would have taxed me back. But I texted me the day after to see how I was doing. That was what I said. Buddy, I was pucker and when you caught that photo with express train and he goes, oh my God, he goes like those 20 seconds between when they when he said it and when they post because you know what they do is they you know you're watching it live and I thought live it looked like he won half a head or more. And so I thought Frank was right, but I still thought it was a ballsy call, even at half a head. And so when they show that, you know, shutter camp thing, which we learned at delmar, at least the del mar, you can't depend on because it looks like there was two races where you thought somebody else won. But and then they show it, I'm like, oh my God, hot rod Charlie got every inch of that bob and express trade did not. Like he won. You could still tell you one by like, but it was like a nose. And in fact, the margin was a nose. And so shout out to Frank for that. But you know, was it concerning that hot rod Charlie didn't win or you know, obviously it's not the final goal. There's a lot of richer races that their .2 down the road you know he kind of he kind of had this same race at sanity to the bob Lewis, right where he loomed up and just kind of never got by. It was Medina Spirit and Roman centurion that day. And then he came after that to go wire to wire and win very nicely in Louisiana Derby. Does he want to be on the lead? Well, I mean he won the Haskell from off the pace, but he got the queued, and he still didn't really go by, right? Like he just, he got to leave and then kind of did idle and only got beat and only won by a nose. Pennsylvania Derby went to the front and he looked magnificent. Maybe he just does want and need the lead. To truly do his best. He can obviously contend. But there's a lot of, you know, even his main special weight win. You know, he just grind grind grind and wins by a neck. The British kept juvenile makes that huge move and gets run down, okay, by such a quality as no shame in that. But again, he was right there in mid stretch. The bob Lewis looked like he was a winner at many points in the stretch and just never kind of went by. I don't want to say hang, but there's something there's something to be said for, you know, he doesn't seem to have that killer instinct unless he's out there by himself in which case he can be kind of tough to reel in. So what he does going forward from a tactical standpoint, I'm very curious, but to express train gets the win and obviously veteran of that circuit now and veteran means 15 starts and 758 100,000 in earnings now. Still good. I mean, that's great, but it's just funny. I mean, they paid half a million for the horse, but it seems like he's been around forever, right? Like running in these type of races and he's only made 15 starts in his career. But victorious was midnight train. I was nice to see Victor espinoza with an ice race. Did I see John sheriffs when a nice race as well? Big maiden winner, a nice win win I should say for baffert to Shaw as a lot of people were talking about those top two in that race Hopkins the first timer for baffert both putting up a very, very good efforts on opening day..

Pa regimen i want a lotta bread than what a great Breeding program they have you know with the incentives and the forty percents that they give you an Unrestricted races and two great breeding program. But gioja angelea was on the starters beginning at the beginning of that program. And i and i just. I just pulled And you've you've mentioned foxy jag in the past is actually was a this was actually a philly that he bred himself and he's listed as the breeder foxy. Jj she was a Mr pitt daughter. just one of those hard hittin phillies one. The total amount of races. You on the one a bunch of racists and everybody in pennsylvania new foxy and if he ran against through the mire her running style. And i even want to. I don't know how many races if i won one or two stake. I'm pretty sure a steak one on one on or even maybe went to penn in rhode or to not sure 'cause it's been a few few years ago and Quite a few russian since then my memory good that should be wound up talking to kylie a little earlier while michelle was on and she Came up with some of the memories stained amount in my head so kylie was accurate always accurate but i never forget the jinjolia family. I you know. It was part of their Their success in racing in pennsylvania. They made me a part of it. So i always appreciated biden's were the old man. And of course. Like i said pete. Got me out of a few jackpots. He was or still is. I'm just looking at. There's a discrepancy between her record At at brisbane. That i was looking for i was looking for her. Her full sheet but She made fifty six starts one fifteen times and was second eighteen times he he was just a hard hitting tough philly and And i say pennsylvania people in bender vania newer. And i was just an honor at that part of my career to be selected to ride for the old man. Joe enjoy the out. And like i said he was a character. The guy was a captive matt him and you follow him in the morning and evening out there everyone in.

"See chris sale back before you saw a guy you traded for back. Maybe i mean knowing knowing what. The injury was knowing what the player acquired had the injury. I think i think yeah. I probably expected to see sell i but if you had told me and covered up the player name. Are you going to see a player. Actually you know what no. You're fucking with my brain right now. Chris sales coming back then very excited for that. It's almost been two years to the day. August thirteenth twenty nineteen workday. That was the last time the chris sale toda a big league rubber on my birthday. Yep and he's making his return. Saturday august fourteenth At fenway park against the os. I'm pretty excited for it. Sales coming back. You know who else is coming back wearing. A pair of socks except for their white lou. Bob lewis bear lubov coming back to supplement this pillows lineup again. Say what you will about the division. What the white sox were able to do without illinois without this cat lube alls they did was create the biggest division lead in baseball. That's all that's all. They did without to absolute horses. That's all they did. So i'm going to say that. But now you lou back I'm excited for that. Also you see fucking eloy on sunday night baseball dropping diesel just absolutely what two times he kinda owns the cubs does he. Hit a tanks at wrigley. Didn't he hit up the stairs there a couple years back or whatever it was probably he's drawn fucking dude he is. I want to watch him take. Bp again is he one of those. It sounds different guys. I just it looks easy coming off his bat at times. Like in the early rounds to you know just watching guys. Football sometimes That's what like because that's where you really find like barrel awareness or you really see guys like if they're if they're just soft and flicking the bat and its barrel barrel barrel barrel. They're letting it travel barrel barrel barrel. It's not necessarily peppering balls off the wall per se. But it's just the innate ability to get the barrel to the ball and that happens like i said in those early rounds but then you see him turn it on late rounds and it's fucking loud noise like god damn notice. That is sexy. So that's going to help. That's going to help deal Bludgeoning a bludgeoning on sunday night. Baseball anthony rizzo. He's headed to the covert. I l for the yankees. Terrible timing for them at hurts. Rizzo had been outstanding since coming over the trade with the cubs. Obviously when when you hear a guy like rizzo getting kobe. The first thing you think of is you know the the fucking cancer survivor so You obviously wish for the best health wise before you start talking about the impact on a baseball team. We wish the best to anthony reser. I think they think cashman or boone said that he was doing fine in terms of like symptoms. And all that so. That's good. yes you hate to see this. What does it diesel fani. I'll get and i don't know i feel like with the giants. Things had just been going to well all year. Like they haven't had a ton of hiccups really and if they have had them they've been quick recoveries so you lose a guy like that. That's a pretty. It's a big. That's a big bum. This is not ideal. But you're getting guys back where they just got back so to your point about not not really having many hiccups like they've done a great job of dealing with guys that haven't been available. They've taken advantage of the guys that have been available and have just continued to produce for them. And so when you run into a speed bump like this. It's about the guys around them. Picking it up holding the rope as we say so. This is where you got to lean on other guys rotations released on gaza. Do you think that they maintain i play. I mean you've got what i've got six days. You've got today the ninth. Yeah i've got six days. They've got a what four game lead four and a half game lead. Am i believe with four. Four game lead. So i need the san francisco giants to lose like four out of their next five five out of their next six. However they'd like to do that. But i'm also going to need the dodgers to win the next five rethink. The odds are that who the dodgers gotten town I believe there another team. That's off today. Let's see how doesn't help me. Oh they got the fills. Oh oh the fills for three but then their schedule lightens up a little bit. Because they've got the mets right so so through the carrots. And then the mets again. Who i've just. I needed that scheduled to be backed up a week. Yeah all right so then that could get interesting though. I mean like the they could cool off the phillies. Maybe they could very well be knocking on the door of first place in that division by the end of that series or who the giants have. Let's see giants play the d backs the rockies.

Mrs robinson simon and garfunkel sixty eight off the graduate movie which came out in the fall. So i don't know what good housekeeping's doing and that's overplayed a it's all right and then a song. I like aquarius with sunshine in nineteen sixty nine fifth dimension. Love them and there is some sauce. So good housekeeping okay. You know but what. I'm thinking about summer. "The nineteenth opening day colonial. Just remember when i saw the nineteen holy crap. That date sounds familiar but to happen to be with you guys. Here's we kick off another week of programs course Monday i was looking back at some of the action from around the country in the world of racing. We'll talk haskell boy. At eventful haskell. i don't want to say controversy you'll haskell. I didn't see much controversy. But we'll talk about that. Toxin saratoga opening weekend talks del mar opening weekend and all sorts of fun stuff Looking at head to the week that is coming up. mentioned last week that My colonial doubts co host. Jessica can join me for almost thought. We'd seen opening day debrief we were gonna do do the broadcast after opening day at colonial. And we'll talk about the first card hundred eleven horses in nine races unbelievable. So we'll talk about the fields. We'll talk a little low handicapping and it'll be fun. I think just what kind of be a little bit of a co host more so than a guest which will be fun Aircrews he gonna join us here and doing some paddock work down at arizona down. Talk about that. Of course you know him from. Hr tv for many many years. Santa anita in southern california's looking forward to catching up also hosts a radio show over in phoenix area. So we'll talk about all that he's up to and then on thursday. Paul's zilmer is gonna join us. Paul a vegas oddsmakers sportsbook guy worked been a racing fan for a long time but been working in the sports world. I thought it'd be interesting to talk to someone about you. Know kind of just the inner workings of vegas and you know the numbers and all that kind of stuff. I think There was an interesting thread that came up the other day. And you know the you know. We don't talk a ton about sports betting here on the show. Were obviously very much a horse racing. Centric thing and we. We'll talk a little sports with scott or james sometimes Once in a while. We'll go you know into the sports betting world but you know they're a lot of betting is foundationally. You know. you have focused on a lot of the same things right. I mean you're handicapping. You're getting the price that you want Based on your handicap of the race or event and then you bet it accordingly how you can hopefully most extract the most money from the situation. So there's a lot of underlying theory that is very common in all the disciplines whether it's poker whether it's horses whether it's sports and so And the other thing is is because of the expansion of sports betting because of You know sports betting coming some race tracks. I mean you know. The track and saint louis is now fan duel park or something like that so You know the these worlds are all kind of merging and you know when we hear people talk about fixed odds and that kind of come into town will i mean. That's more in line with the world of sports betting. But i guess you're not really getting fixed odds but you actually you do get fixed because you you get whatever when you bet but those odds do change of course but you can lock in at a certain time but anyways the world's are all kinds of merged a little bit so we'll talk with paul thursday show very excited to kind of get his view and take on things from you know fabulous las vegas nevada in the world of sports betting. He's actually He's not working in the industry right now but He was For the last several years so Thought it would be an interesting conversation so looking forward to that coming up later on the week. And of course. Our buddies jury ed james and scott. It was pitiful arlington park for the million preview day and providing a lot coverage. No watch some. I watched a couple of those races. That was You know we're getting ready for colonial. Obviously we're a little busy. Saturday was thankfully a little bit of a day and able to watch a lot of the saratoga and the monmouth cards and You know it's kind of nice to have a saturday where i wasn't driving. I realized it was the first saturday in four weeks that i hadn't been road trip and somewhere three weeks ago i was going to tampa through two weeks ago. I was going to louisville and last week. Go into coming over to richmond so good to be settled good to be locked in here and could furry for opening day at colonial. Hope you guys will join us to. I think it's going to be a really fun meeting the entries for all the first three days. Were very very good. You know if you follow kentucky. A lot of the barnes dallas stuart michelle level and and several others have come down some nyerere connections lot of maryland Lot of west. Virginia surmount near even came over to run the other. I cards so and there's actually a fair amount of you know. Virginia based horseman who really kind of point towards this meat is the the prime of their season. They'll certainly run and a few other spots elsewhere. But this is really where. They're directing their money and attention to but let's start with the haskell stakes million dollars up for grabs and really a showdown of you know three pretty prominent horses throughout this kentucky derby triple crown trail. I mean hot rod. Charlie obviously leapt onto the scene last year when he Ran that huge second in the breeders. Cup juvenile we came back and good in the bob lewis lusitania spirit but then won the louisiana derby a good third in the kentucky derby and then that huge second in the belmont stakes so he ends up Get installed as your sixty five morning. Line favorite goes off at four to five. I think a lot of people were that belmont stakes. I feel like really resonated with a lot of people in terms of just what kind of a heartful effort it was. What i was fascinated with was how this race was going to play out from a pace standpoint. Because you know you had a number of horses who kinda liked to be on the engine here and so following c drawn down toward the inside stretching out. Obviously a you know a contender year. He was he was the one i talked about on friday show like i didn't know anything about this horse. He just did not been on my radar in his Initial efforts in you know. Obviously they were fantastic and so he He took a little bit of money. Here going off as you're seventy two third choice. Mandolin goes off three hundred second choice midnight. Bourbon floats to five to one. Of course coming off a second place. Finish last time out at At pimlico in the preakness stakes lead that race amid stretch before ron bauer came and got him. You know he's another one who has really been prominent in this league triple crown. I mean even back to when they were two years old and obviously second the iroquois third champagne so he's danced dances has midnight bourbon. Paco lopez picking up the right on this one for the first time. Let's take a listen back. Frank mir bodies call it's haskell stakes haskell invitational stakes i should say or is it just haskell stakes now or is it invitational i forget if the change it regardless the haskell at monmouth park. They're off in twin spires dot com haskell and.
