NFL Will Likely Allow Players To Protest During National Anthem
"Now that the NFL has accepted? Accepted at least at the surface, how NFL players choose to protest police, brutality and racial inequality bird. You see this going essentially I. Guess the question is what's the next step to keep the momentum of this movement going while they have it well in terms of how players are GonNa? Protest protest has to be defiant in some way to be some level of disobedience associated with it and now the Dell. Dell has kinda like okay'd the action of kneeling or just protesting in general like we're getting into a tricky space it's it's then kneeling might become with like throwing your sister me. Anthem has become. It was a very. That was a very different gesture in nineteen, sixty eight. It's not so much a controversial gesture, twenty twenty, or maybe even twenty eighteen, whatever, if kneeling was controversial, Tony Sixteen but is. Generally accepted across the League twenty twenty. Then you're not really protesting. You know anymore and that's. That's important here because we still have people. Who Need to be allies and when I say people, I really do mean the owners. The owners are some of the powerful people perspective states you know like how many people can you name in Texas more powerful? Jerry Jones for a if he's on board. That gets a lot of people on board or it enough people. That are that are Jerry's fans like okay. Cool them battle-gear, but if you know how many people over there, Massachusetts, or more power more powerful than than Bob, kraft right like this. Won't we get those guys on board? Right as allies. That's when we really will get some like after like a true like seismic shift here because that's the people they know prosecutors in their local, you know. States, cities know DA's in they. They know politicians like they. They got power over their. Their voice matters what Robert Kraft says. When a Mike is far more important than some like vague statement on the Patriots Twitter Account, you know I think that's that's the next step here. Owners are owners are good at this. They don't make themselves available might just head coach swing. Put the pressure on head coaches. No, it's not just the coaches. We need to put the pressure on the owners. You guys of the white billionaires. Who Some of you even supported the president. was empowering a lot of the people that still countering backlash. Matter like it's the next step is them. It's getting them to be all in in on this. Because essentially they become recruiters at that point. Can Jerry onboard and you didn't in your in your far right and even riding with Jerry Johnson. Baby if you can, if you can't see why Jerry, Jones gets on board, then you're.

Lawyers for Patriots owner seek to have sex video thrown out
"Two. There was this hearing today in in West Palm Beach on the Bob Kraft, solicitation tapes, you know, this is the, you know, this is a usually usually this is a time when the NFL gets a lot of good publicity. You know, the draft was last night. It's one of the more interesting nights of the year for for ESPN, certainly and they spend a lot of money on the patriots drafted a replacement for gronkowski. And all that. But the only news is about this. This hearing the the lawyers for the owner of the New England Patriots are trying to suppress the video of him getting his alleged. Rub it rub and tug from the from the masseuses so-called doubt in Jupiter Florida at the orchids of Asia spa. So. They were having a hearing on it today. The no trial yet. These are just hearings to suppress the video joepat. Our police detective Andrew sharp testified today. He wasn't sure whether the orchids of Asia's spa was an alleged under wasn't alleged massage parlor, offering illegal paid sex until he saw a golf cart with eight men. Pull up outside it. One of the men went inside the spa located in a shopping plaza in the coastal city just just north of pup each where Bob Kraft lives, and then came in outside and stood near friends in the golf cart. He did a this. What the detective said he did a touchdown Jesus with his hands and walked back inside sharper called. And it was at that point that I understood it was not a regular massage. Parlor heated excited about getting a massage. Hey, they've got a special today. It's tuesday. They're trying to get gen business. Touchdown reflects all g we found. It do we really think he didn't know what the Basayi parlor was all about until that golf cart. And by the way, how big of a golf cart was it that eight guys could fit in. I I'm guessing it was probably an eight seater. I don't know what he ate seek golf carts. That's what I'm saying. I mean, I know have them they do. Of course. I'm not familiar with them. I'm used to. I'm used to four four seaters at at most absolutely at most. Okay. So then there was another one. There. Here's some more information that came out today when the you know, the the first time crap craft went you can get eight cedar golf cart for just over ten thousand. That's not what I had when I lived on great diamond island in Casco bay, Portland. Maine. I had I had a four seater at at most. So what he what he got his first massage. He he they decided to stop him. The the cops I decided to have a ruse at stop him. He wasn't driving, but they asked for his identification. Anyway. So here's what happened when they pulled over Bob Kraft and discovered the who he was. Bob Kraft flash one of his Super Bowl rings and ask the police officer if you wars fan of the Miami Dolphins when the patriots owner was stopped in Florida moments after he allegedly paid to women to perform a sex act on him, according to court records. Prosecutors wrote in there filing today, Robert Kraft was very polite and respectful during the whole process he asked the officer. If he was a dolphins fan. He then told the officer. Craft also mentioned that he was heading the Kansas City the next day where the patriots were scheduled to play the chiefs in the AFC championship game. The officer did not know who craft was prior to

Who's now been thrown into the mix of this. Bob Kraft story here he is the great fame defense. Attorney Monday morning guests Ella. Good, buddy. Jo taka Pino. Good morning. Joseph Ville morning, guys. How why are you? So this lady just happens to be there. Innocently not getting any happy endings getting a feat. Rub. She would do that occasionally at that spa. And now she's kind of been thrown into the story. What's the latest with that? Yeah. Well, her and a lot of other people understand what happened here. I mean, this is really one of the most remarkable cases I've ever seen. You don't you have the state and the media and taking positions that recordings of innocent people are also public records. But understand that the reason they got into that spa. This case unfold the facts about and it's really scary. The reason they got in touch spas because they said there was Uman sex tracking going on. So they kinda pet spot to be able to put in cameras in these rooms surreptitiously because there was human sex draft. Well prosecutor in court on Friday took the position that there's no even tracking. Okay. We were on that. So we know cases that part of the cases over now just a prostitution case the problem with that is that the cameras in the room to begin with. And once they put these cameras in these hotels, Mendis massage rooms want happening is they recorded everyone. I mean, you know, if you went in there like like Joyce, did this doctor who I represent a New York Times bestselling author seventy five year old lady coasted there for besides, you know, in a partial state of undress, and is being recorded by a video camera with illegal violation of privacy rights, constitutional rights, and and, you know, contemplating Nakashima Joyce, but for others, a civil rights action of federal court, hopefully end. Listen, by the way, Bob Kraft received a standing ovation at the Celtics game over the weekend. I mean, it hasn't been much to hurt his public image. Because I think people like you like a lot of people sympathize with them. I mean, he wasn't really doing anything wrong. It was all consensual, and I mean like you say it was an invasion of his privacy as well. Look who really cares about what some seventy year old guys doing an ETA massage. Parlor, really, I mean, no one being victimized there your right to people in in consensual situations. And I don't know what happened with him. And you know, that's not my issue. But but really that we're getting exercised about the millions four law enforcement agencies millions and millions of dollars spent all this time on that the whole premise of this was that these poor women from China were being. Yeah. Yeah. Brought it here against the will almost came to the bed with night and massage toddler. You know, couldn't be further from the truth. All of a sudden, just never mind. A big never mind. "Sports at cubs. Cubs. Bob Kraft, Bob Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots. Here comes oh. Coming in their second season in the massage work besides pilot. Here comes the two. She's playing touch with. She was the last season. Using the front euphemisms. So he's he's fighting to keep the video of him. You know, playing two hand, touch or she was planning to touch with him. From a the light of day. I thought he was innocent. He's trying to suppress it. Well, that's the whole thing. We talked about it earlier the haves versus the have nots. Right. He certainly have. So here's what I don't get. He's claiming that he's innocent. He's not guilty of the charges yet. In a recent statement, Bob Kraft said I know I have hurt and disappointed in my family, and my close friends, my coworkers our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher regard and standard. Why you do what do you feel? Why are you upset about that? You didn't hurt anybody? He didn't do anything wrong. How you how'd you disappoint people when you can do anything wrong. Jussie smollet get all those charges dropped yet. The prosecutor thinks he's guilty. We crazy land bizarro. We're in bizarro world. It's none of this stuff. Makes sense. He's seventy seven years old and okay. So he says you went to a massage parlor, they have video of you. What do you want them believe it's going to happen? When you say, I'm not guilty. I didn't do this absorbs appointed everybody you're talking to both sides your mouth. And then what do you think you're going try to do? Now, they're going to try to release that video to prove that you got the rub and tug and then so now not only are you guilty of killing the rub and tug. If you want to suppress it from the rest of you, you tell the truth. But now they're going to prove that you're lying now. You're a liar. You've lied to your family and friends you've proven out. It's been proven that you got it. So now, you not only are you someone who went to a besides parlor billionaire that goes it besides parlor to get you know, the the rubber duck. But now, you're lying just seventy seven years old. I'm just really happy. It's the worst. You don't use it. You lose it. Let the video come out. I want people to see I still got. That's what I would do. I'd be like I want that video out now. I was in there for twenty minutes at sei, alga it works like a charm is it high def. Yeah. I want everybody to see. My don't want anything blurred. Get a good close up unless this thing was like twenty seconds at a twenty second video. That's why hurt his wrap. It doesn't want. Anybody who just walked into walk right out. I mean, like I said, I don't understand. I is this because he's trying to protect himself from the NFL and getting fined or getting punished by the NFL is that what this is all about. Or is this about embarrassing, you know, not being embarrassed in front of your friends and family and colleagues all of that look like he was in a room with a with a kid pulled up. Michael jackson. Well, it wasn't like. Massage parlor, Dave and cheat on his wife. Oh, the wives dead is hard to do. But so so I mean, here's what people don't like they don't like when they're being lied to. And they don't like their intelligence. It's been insult your intelligence. Yeah. All right. I'm totally seventy seven year old, man. You know, just the way I like to unwind everybody understand that we like. You waited. So what do it apologized to everybody apologizing for? Apologize at the patriots keep beating everybody. Well, I think projects having a great team. I think probably part of the reason is because as long as he plea if he says he's not guilty than the NFL can't come in. And while they still can trust less likely. You're going to be in front of a jury now. A jury of his peers what does that mean seventy seven year old billionaire guys you could still get an erection Jerry Jones. Right. Filing it. All right. Well, maybe the not guilty pleas a pretty good one barsky radio on news talk. Eight fifty W F T. Al this is the Palm Beach is news, traffic.
Rob Gronkowski set to retire from football after nine seasons with the Patriots
"But rob gronkowski will not survive in the two thousand nineteen oh that sounds really morbid. But you know, what? I mean, he posts a very emotional Instagram message with a photo of himself holding the Vince Lombardi trophy in the air with confetti. Of course, he says it all started at twenty years old on stage at the NFL draft. When my dream came true. And now here I am about to turn thirty and a few months with a decision. I feel is the biggest of my life. So far, I will be retiring from the game of football today. And he goes on to to thank Bob Kraft and Bill Belichick. He says my life experiences over the last nine years have been amazing both on and off the field. The people I have meat. I know he meant met autocorrect damn autocorrect the people I've met the relationships. I've been. The championships. I've been a part of I just want to thank the whole New England Patriots organization for every opportunity. And he goes on and on with few more thank yous it was truly an incredible honor to play such a great established organization. Eight able to come in to continue and contribute to keep building. Success? And of course, Tom Brady who does use Instagram and Facebook as well responded. He's always one of the first I feel like he either has people who are watching for anything that might be related to him even remotely or he spends way too much time on social media one or the other. But this was a moment that was speculated about not just this off season but last off season, and we'll see whether or not it sticks. Are you confident that rob gronkowski retired completely or do you think he'll pull a Brett farve or maybe he'll pull a Jason Witten? Either way. Do you think he will return? Every time. I look up on the TV. I see this. Montage of incredible rob gronkowski football plays. And also a lot of videos of him dancing, some without a shirt. That's what will remember about rob gronkowski that and the growing, spike? Remember, he's incredible catch late in Super Bowl fifty three with the patriots a three time Super Bowl champion. And also a four time first team all pro five time pro bowler. Nine hundred seventy nine touchdown catches. And some postseason records. So in sixteen playoff games. He had eighty one catches. Over eleven hundred yards and twelve touchdowns and think about the number of games he missed when he was

"Couple of other tidbits from the blog that I found interesting Bob Kraft, Bob Kraft is getting off. Prosecutors now say that they're going to drop the charges against the FOX near the New England Patriots owner, and this is weird though. I think this just a little odd because they basically come up and said, hey, Bob, you know, we're going to drop the charges, but you have to admit that you would have been found guilty. If there were a trial. I don't know about that. That seems a little dodgy to me. I Don I didn't know that was a thing. Like, I I understand diversionary punishment and stuff like that. But I do diversionary punishment people have to say, okay. Yeah. Probably would have gotten. You know, what a guy would have had a problem if it gone to trial, and it now listen to what he still has to do those kind of creepy. He has to admit that he would have been found guilty. He has to do one hundred hours of community service. So are we gonna see Bob Kraft on the side of a highway in an orange vast picking up trash, I doubt it? Bob, Kraft's community service is going to be like come to this seminar, where I tell you how to be a millionaire, you know, it'll be just for the community. He also has to submit to an S T D test. Yikes. Creepy and he has to go through a course on the devastating impact of prostitution on our society. But he will not be convicted, and he will walk away from this with. Not a scar to his name. Well, I mean the embarrassment factor. And by the way in case, you were wondering there was some reports that. There was a link to sex trafficking in this massage parlor, but there has been absolutely no charges filed. Relating to sex trafficking. So that appeared to be a red herring. Or if Matt the dead to me was here. He would say that. It was just an example of why? And how the FBI was just after Bob Kraft. Yeah. I'm sure that's what he'd say, Amy. You have more insight into why the Bob Kraft thing. Played out this way. Well, I don't know that they have. I just my opinion is that. Yes. He would have been arrested and convicted how does that affect his ownership? NFL team versus standing up and saying, yeah, I would have been convicted. I. Convicted just totally different. Yeah. But I did something wrong. It's convicted of a misdemeanor for solicitation, and I think that. Solicitation misdemeanors, not going to impact his ownership of that team. I am telling you that right now there are so many NFL stars that have misdemeanor arrests in misdemeanor pleased misdemeanor this. And that that a misdemeanor is just not going to really have an impact at this point in the league. I just can't see that being a problem. It's an interesting theory, though, if it grew into something bigger than that with the sex trafficking, then he's got a lot. Yeah. But you know, what I don't think he was ever being investigated for being involved the sex trafficking part. It would have been bad. If one of the women that he spent some time with had been under age, but there's not even any indication that that was the case. There's no indication that any of these women were underage. So this is just straight up solicitation, which is distasteful, but really in the grand scheme of things. Unfortunately, not that big a deal. Well, and you're talking about a professional league. That. Or standards. It's not at the top of their lists. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. On that. We are in complete agreement. Amy on that you are one hundred percent, right. I appreciate the phone. Call. Jeff, you're on KOA NewsRadio. Hi, mandy. I'm just calling about this story. And you know, you said at the beginning of this most segue Bob Kraft is getting off. Yes, right. Yes. We already know that. That's why the situation. What's the news? Yeah. Well, I will tell you. I chose that the headline specifically and on purpose. I got an Email from somebody said, I don't know if you meant to do that. Oh, I meant to do that one hundred percent. So. We love your show. Thank you. Thanks, jeff. I appreciate it. I was just going to face charges now. I mean, that's what's your he got off. Right. That's what that's what you say. So that particular incident is put by the wayside in a story that I don't know if this is interesting to anybody else, they think they have confirmed the identity of Jack the ripper. I'm fascinated by this. I've watched so many documentaries on Jack the ripper I watch movies about Jack, the ripper he ate my mind. I'm pretty sure that Jack the ripper was the first documented serial killer, right? Like, they know he was a serial killer. They documented and back in the day. They were pretty sure it was Aaron Kosmolinski not to be confused. The Ross Kaminsky Aaron cosmetics gay was a twenty three year old polish barber and happened to be the prime suspect at the time. How do they know? Well, a forensic investigation is identified him, and he was named as a suspect. But the latest findings marked the first time that DNA evidence has been published in a peer reviewed journal. So it looks like that Jack the ripper is definitely been identified as this polish. Does polish barber. Now think about this one hundred years ago. You have this series of murders. Because Jack the ripper is believed to have killed at least five women in the white chapel district of London between August and November of eighteen eighty eight. So we have five murders, boo. Boo. Boo. Really fast. Even back then. They thought that they knew who it might have been. So the fact that they were right is really incredible to me considering what police investigative tactics might have been back one hundred years ago. I don't know. I mean, it's usually the opposite way. Right. Usually they find out that they were wrong time. Yeah. But they were right. They tested the DNA of this silk shawl that was stained with blood and other bodily fluids and bought a bought a boom here comes Mr. kost skis DNA. Although how did they find his DNA? How did that happen? Like did. They just get a family member. And would you wanna give DNA to prove that? You're relative was Jack the ripper. Okay. I'm not gonna lie. Totally would just saying. When do I have my bracket done? I believe the first four games start tonight. Uh-huh. So Thursday will be a round of sixty four. So anytime before Thursday, you can get it in. "All right. Welcome. What all new animal? House course every week. We talk about political scandals Massachusetts ties this week. We are talking about Dick Morris. Now Dick Morris is I don't know if he's originally from Connecticut, but he certainly has lived in Connecticut for very long time. So he's no base later. But he indeed has woven is way throughout Baystate political history beginning with none other than our former governor Bill weld and his connection to weld starts off as a very positive interaction in terms of him being able to help well, politically, and he goes on to work, of course, for Bill Clinton and weld in the Clintons actually get along quite well. So that was an interesting connection there. And then there's a spectacular sex scandal that occurs in one thousand nine hundred ninety six really coming out. Just as the democratic national convention is unveiled as Clinton is accepting the party's nomination. Dick Morris than has to resign and beat a hasty retreat. Not only that as all of this is going on weld actually ends up getting bitten by his old ties by during this Seminole debate with John Kerry, the time weld in one thousand nine hundred six is running to beat incumbent US Senator John Kerry, he has this debate where Carey finally sort of wakes up he'd been pretty sluggish in the earlier debates with Bill weld any delivers this great line. So it is just sort of interesting to see how how Dick Morris weaves. His own way into Massachusetts, politics and other thing that we probably won't be able to get to. But he certainly was a huge Mitt Romney supporter. And this was just one of the things that gave him the title of of like worst, political guesses or whatever it is. In the world. I mean, Dick Morris, basically, not listens to any of his predictions when it comes to politics partially because he was so strong Romney beating Obama I believe in two thousand twelve. He's obviously still got things going on. And and one of them, of course, was also in two thousand twelve when he has been so angry at Bill and Hillary Clinton for. Bouncing him during this. Hook up with a prostitute. Which by the way, I mean, I guess we got Bob Kraft here. I mean, it seems too late to some extent to what happened with Clinton. It seems fairly tame. I mean, not only was he hooking up this prostitute. But you know, he's they shared a lot of things they were they were in love, and she got to see all these speeches ahead of time. And man, I mean, I think a lot of people would argue this girl was treated pretty well by by prostitution standards. But anyway, we will kick it off with basically Bill Weld's, I sort of the start of their entire encounter. And there's a story this article written by Brian Mooney. Who's a great political reporter at the globe? And this is in one thousand nine hundred and last week I covered Bill weld and the nineteen ninety race. And of course, I covered actually his primary. But I mean, this was a tough race for Bill weld. He not only had to go up against this guy in the primary, but but he had to then take on silver and. Time Shattuck, I think loves his silver. Silber? I love him. I love this race. I follow it intently, the Shattuck's where Silber backers Hillary a democrat and seeing so this is the thing. It's very funny. Topic shouted seeing this famed Natalie Jacobson sit down for the first time, I'm embarrassed to say last night. Yeah. I was not paying attention at all to this. When it happened in one thousand nine hundred ninety. I'm not even sure if I lived I think I lived in Maine, I lived in bath. Maine. So I definitely did not care who was running for governor. So anyway, yeah, I had never seen this, man. He really does come across horrible. I mean, it is incredible. She asked him, and she's so clearly like trying to flirt with them sort of. He asked him is is strengths and weaknesses. And he treats it like, she's she's. Yes. Something. Dear god. Maybe we should listen to it now because boy he takes it. And he's like now you guys figure out by wake. What do I have? She's like just like smiling at him. And really whatever it is. It is quite the thing to see. Yeah. I think it's a cut one Christian. Let's listen to this back and forth. But do you see as your strength? And if you will if you have think, you have one weakness, I think that my strength is competence. His honesty. Okay. Victor. I'll tell you if it's going up or if it's going down under one Donald J Trump. So we'll talk about that also the houses pants, what could be the biggest change the federal gun laws. We'll get into that a little bit. In addition to that, I want to get to the Bob Kraft story. Bob Kraft, not going to be appearing at some. At a hearing here is going to have his attorney a pure for him. But I want to kind of dig a little deeper into that story because apparently ESPN has got a story out where they're saying that Bob Kraft wasn't involved in any sort of. The various massages with underage or trafficked women. There's a human trafficking story that's supposed to in. And that's Bob. Apparently, that's not the case. So it gets all of that some ran into time yesterday to thirty one percents. People have said they tried so Daily Star and some sort of a porno adult Phil how many thirty one percent people have seen it. They tried. It seems very low to mid. Yeah. So we've got the gun stuff. We got the violence in America and the Bob Kraft and the porno stuff for combining an altogether for you. Really the gamut. It's a mulligan stew. It really is it's dysfunction on this show. So we talked. We just did the Michael Jackson stuff. He was the story of leaving Neverland the film that's going to be shown on HBO over the weekend. The story of two men who claim they were abused by Michael Jackson, sexual abuse. I believe every word they say by the way raid. Wade Robson and James is safe. Chuck, and how is that? Once that gets out once everybody sees that. How's that going to affect how people see this man, this this iconic king of pop and will it affect any? So, you know, by the way, his the state makes more money now, I think they make a fortune. How much money they make since he's been dead like hundreds of millions of dollars. They continue to make off the name the likeness of Michael Jackson. How will I be affected? When this documentary is shown that but what happens to the Michael Jackson hologram toward the head. And if you didn't see Michael Jackson your big fan. You didn't see when he was alive? This is the next best thing. It's the only chance it's so creepy though, the looking at the ROY orbison hologram. Oh my God. When that was when they showed that in Fort Lauderdale, just the just rose from the ground up. This is it was like what you would look it. It's what you would expect a ghost to look like he wasn't completely translucent. But it was almost there. So the the trying to figure out this company that does these hologram towards who who gonna roll out next this one Frank Zappa real Frank Zappa hologram tour. Wow. Yep. It'll kickoff. April nineteenth tickets go on sale. I guess. Tomorrow. I think how much I don't know didn't say what it is. But I guess I don't know what the tour dates are. But see that makes sense to me. You know, what I mean like Frank Zappa? Somebody would probably get a real kick out of it. He's probably somebody who would enjoy being a hologram because he he was just a very very odd character to begin with the music was the music, but it's Frank Zappa in general the weird thing about it though. The hologram probably won't look any different than the actual, man. Frank zappa. Was you know, it was just a very very like you looked oddly enough of the hologram has more provision in his contract writer, the actual, for example, actually, more than Biton had that we read yesterday. He's expected an arrest warrant is expected to be issued as early as today. New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft among twenty five people facing charges of soliciting prostitutes is part of a series of human trafficking and prostitution arrests. In Palm Beach county is in Jupiter near the treasure coast. That's according to Jupiter police. Let me tell you something people's I lived in Jupiter. Okay. I was born and raised here, and I spend most of my life and most of my career here. The only time that I have left the area for jobs worked in West Palm Beach, but lived in Jupiter Florida for about a year and a half and then at WABC in Manhattan for a little while. But most of my career my life has been spent here, but I spent enough time in Jupiter Florida be quite familiar with exactly what is going down there. And I still in Christina off the air before the show began. I live something like a mile and a half from that particular strip ball that is is cited Jupiter, Florida. And in the palm beaches, and they actually carry ads where they did had advertisements when I was living there for all of these places all of these alleged massage polish, and it seems as though there's one in every other strip mall in Jupiter. You know, so for all of a sudden a stop the presses moment because this is going on in Jupiter, Florida. Gimme a break. It's not exactly an above the fold thing. What is above the fold is the fact that Bob Kraft could be involved in all this? Okay. I mean, I didn't pull a MacAulay Culkin when I read oh, there might be sex trafficking and Jupiter, Florida. Oh my goodness. You know, I'm shocked shocked that this gambling rich cafe. But we'll keep a watchful eye on this one because you know, this is not an on field fing. All right. This is what you need to know. What you need to know is that this is an off field charge and something that the Commissioner Roger Goodell has the broadest brushing the world to address. All right. He can come up with any find that he wants because if this is true in craft is guilty of this behavior. Well, he violates a big old morals thing policies clause. He doesn't have a contract, but it's immoral. It's immoral stipulation a policy within the NFL that you don't put stains on the shield, you know, the NFL shield. So who knows what what could become in doubt? Now, this is a misdemeanor on craft. He could just looking at a slap on the wrist legally, you know, maybe a five six hundred dollar fine. And then have to go to classes teach you awareness of sexual trafficking and prostitution the damages of. And then maybe have to do some public service. And what have you? I mean, a five hundred dollars to Bob Kraft was that a set breakfast money, you know, but what the league might give them at so hold different different kettle. Patriots owner Robert Kraft charged in prostitution sting
"A multi-billionaire Robert Kraft owner of the most successful football team of a generation is caught soliciting sex in Florida. Yes. And part of a human trafficking sting. Bob Kraft is charged with two counts of soliciting someone to commit prostitution in Palm Beach county. And the cops say they have videotape of him paying for the axe inside this Asian massage parlor, the orchids of Asian day spa in Jupiter, Florida. So there's been a months long investigation into all of this. There were ten total spa. Shut down as part of this thing in Orlando Palm Beach county on the treasure coast, again Coffman looking into this for several months showing that women there were in sexual servitude. Boy, terrible terrible situation. There were two hundred arrest warrants or somewhere in that ballpark issued in recent days. More are expected and Robert Kraft was among them. It's one thing that if you're talking about him soliciting some Hooker when it's part of a human trafficking sting. Oh, yeah. And that gets into the spotlight because that is a problem across the country across the world. Yeah. Then what does the NFL do with that? You wonder you. You would think I mean come on. What's his name with the oh, I just blanked on his NBA team owner got caught on a hidden recording device. Shoot man, always the clippers owner now, I forget his name, sterling. Donald sterling. But listen this big a market, the nightlife is better. Yeah. We all know, the nightlife is better and his definitely a bigger market. But again, TV games back to kyri it all back to it. The worst thing you want as a Laker fan is to have it all come down to something. That's unpredictable, right. Like, what stopped us last time was the Commissioner, right? And. Which is Kyrie's shares too much. Yes. Correa's allowing you to watch him grow. Yup. Come this, man. Right. We don't know what kind of man is going to become yet. But Kawai seems to have a stronger sense of self right? He knows who he is. He likes to be quiet. I think Popovich seeks out people who like the old Shakespeare line know thine self he he wants people that know who they are. Right. So that they can fill whatever role. He needs them to fill. Correct. Kyrie's a searcher, right? He's more artistic more creative. He'll probably have his own rap album pretty soon. You know what? I mean, probably be pretty good at he seems like a very right brained kinda guy reatives on the basketball court again have to be a set play e creates the plays a creator. Yes. "You're making us nervous over here. We have plenty more to get to. We're gonna talk. Tom brady's. Contract extension with Greg Jennings. Can win his NFL record sixth Super Bowl on Sunday. And oh, yeah. He's forty one years old Brady has already said he wants to play until he's forty five but his contract is actually up after next season. However, it appears the patriots want their quarterback to stick around. Bob Kraft said yesterday, quote, I would be quite surprised if he didn't continue for quite a while as our quarterback, we're joined by FOX NFL analyst, Greg Jennings. Good morning, but first Jannine I'm gonna go to you on this one. Would it be a mistake for the patriots to give Brady a contract extension? You'll know they always. If he's still if he's still for three four more years they've underpaid Tom Brady for the last decade. Plus, so whatever their first of all look at what Mr. cramp play purchase franchise four and look at the value now, and that is directly contributed to two people two most important people top rating coach chain. So Tom Brady really should have made probably about five hundred million dollars by now on the field. So I have no problem with he's made it clear, Mr. crap there've been two people that's been Tom Brady's camp saying that he's played till these forty five or he's gonna play state a period of time that Tom Brady in that's Mr. cramp. And so Mr. crab believed that he's gonna play in even if Tom Brady says, you know, what I'm gonna play Dylan forty five but after next year walks away. So be it. They underpaid Tom Brady, and that's my own choosing. They underpaid him for over a decade. So whatever Tom Brady gets whatever they should just. Let him, you know, Tom. What do you want to go in? There says you know, what for the next three years? The have a long gonna play. I wanna make forty million dollars a year, and Mr Graefe, you say, okay, no problem. Any of you retire next year take the whole hundred sixty million and live happily ever after? I have no problem considering the way he's played considering how they run the football considering how they protect him. When he throws the ball. He just might play till he's fifty but I would have no problem with Mr. craft giving Tom Brady and extension time out. I got a jump in before you go go for Mr. sharp. Yes. You're the one who is predicted steadfastly. You will your immovable object on this that Tom Brady will play no longer than one more year. Correct. Yes. So yes, saying that Robert Kraft should now commit absurd salary cap money for the one hundred million dollars to Tom Brady. And then just eat it and hate it. Just wreck is salary cap for the two years you say he will. Not be playing after that. Right. That's what you're saying. Well, make any sense at all to me, it makes this if Robert Kraft is thinking the way, Shannon Sharpe is thinking, which highly doubt. But if he is he would just say, let's just go a year at a time, Tom. I'm good to go next year. And then let's see how we feel but here, but here's the thing. Those give if you look at the reason why you've had this great luxury salary cap space is because Tom Brady is basically player for twenty and twelve million dollars. That's the cap hip for arguably the greatest quarterback to ever breathe oxygen. And so he allowed you to do things. Sometimes you like, well, what are you going to get Tom Brady some hill? You like, where's all the money going 'cause Tom Brady is not making a whole lot of money, whereas all the rest of the money going. I have no problem. If he wrecks recap a one year two years, given what he's done for this organization. So beaten Atlanta air is doing wonders for your brand. You're starting to sound like me, I was a little sock that. Go ahead. But I'm wishing and I think when you look at what Tom Brady has provided for your organization for you. As an owner what he has put in your pocket as Shannon eloquently alluded to go that far, but. Even beyond then they don't have any other options skit they have nowhere to go..

Like what the fuck? Can. We watch games have good teams game played in essentially a high school stadium. You know with with terrible coaches and terrible players. And you know, John Hannah was the most famous patriot. They're left guard or whatever he played left tackle, whatever it was an offensive lineman, and you know, poor Steve Grogan with his neck brace playing football. It was there were laughing stock. They're you know, they're the gods. The call them like the the model of the NFL isn't understatement. I mean, they're like, you know, they're the New York Yankees a football. And like and like the nineteen the the Yankees in the nineteen fifties. It's ridiculous. Nine and seven when we were freshmen, I I don't remember doing that. Well, that's amazing nine and seven was like a win. But then it would wheels came off. I remember making a lot of Raymond Barre jokes in my column at the time about them propping up his corpse two games. Although that was the first over those jokes. Yeah. They went one in fifteen in nineteen ninety when we were juniors and zero started gambling 'cause I needed I needed some sort of action. And then they always had the they had what's his name. Victor. Cayenne was the owner. They had the thing with Lisa Olson, flashing her in the locker room, and we'll stories like that. They were known more for like horrible stories and being a laughing stock on the field and controversy and just just awful stadium in an awful location. And and you know, Bob Kraft came in and was like say, I mean, they're calling the saviors also understatement because that the differential is was more abundant. There's a good SAT word. Now, he's built them into the best team in the NFL by far. It's not even it's not even debatable. I'm looking at. We went to college in Worcester. Hello Foxborough is fifty five miles or forty six. Never never none of us ever looked at each other. And said, let's make the wreck data FOX. It'd be really fun to sit on metal benches, and I probably brought it up twice and then got laughed out of the out of the hall. Think about it. Like, we could have driven down there. You could've tailgated and had some bears tickets were probably about three dollars and that never even occurred us once we went to Red Sox games. Bruins and Celtics. But the notion of going to see a patriots game, like never even crossed our mind. Well, there's a great does a great fork in the road. I'd love to know what happens to Connecticut, if the patriots actually just go there because you could argue all the same thriving breathing state. Actually, I mean might not be hooked up to an IV. So my big I might have been a good sick. You can argue all the same things could have happened. It's not like the location of the team really matter that much with Brady Bill checking craft been phenomenal for this region instead of for Massachusetts. Yeah. Me can you imagine if the patriots leave New England, go to Connecticut, and then immediately rip off the greatest two-decade run right in the history of probably definitely football. Definitely. And it's on the shortlist of professional sports. But in all of that happened after they moved to Hartford Hartford two different city at that point. Of course. And I probably be some more on that like leads like the Hartford equivalent of the dog pound with my face needs thing and my own celebrity and tailgater, whatever. Like, absolutely. Oh, yeah. You definitely you'd have some sorta Hartford patriots podcast and the ringer. We would have had to suspend it for three weeks after something horrible happen at a tailgate with you the Utah Jazz for. Look at me with sunny, I would have been like as Deflategate defender. We really needed to deflate gate gas law tattooed at some point in my party this show to people all the time we made four Super Bowl since deflate gate. Just in case. Yeah. Keep you down. But you know, you you you can't even make you can even argue that anymore..
Where's Khalil Mack?! The Raiders aren't saying
"I can tell you that right now. Nobody is in that locker room worried about any tension. Nobody is talking about any of the things that happened the off season. It's just doesn't. It doesn't exist. They're the only thing anybody's worried about is practice and is the next day practice. There were times being that building where there are a lot of things that were being said about the team. I remember when we let lower Malloy go and they said it's over in the locker room when they lost the team and all, but. But it was being said, but nobody talked about it and nobody cared about it, and everybody just put their head down and work towards the next day because that's just how it is. You know, I think human emotions do factor into this, like it's a game, Dave operated a certain way for a long time. But Tom Brady has the franchise player certainly would like to feel like the owner and the head coach back them up regardless of whether he's right or wrong. You also assurances Defillo like all the sacrifice, all the things that I've done to help us win and be a perennial contender that those things would be supported and reflected in the way we go about our business. So if he didn't feel like he was getting that support, I certainly could see where he would kind of feel like I'm out here on an island. It could change him come to carrying on the message that has always been kind of dispensed, Eric, I wanna push back against something you said in terms of the reporting on this book. And again, I'm not sure of anything, but the book basically says that Brady immediately called. Smith in the NFL PA and got on the phone with them. And so where they might be getting the information from is the NFL PA and sources there that are aware of how Brady reacted when Bob Kraft stepped down. And I agree with bookie to the extent that Tom Brady wants to fill a level of support I and again, when you factor in all the things we've been talking about all offseason how much less money he's taken throughout his career. He probably feels more entitled embolden than some as it relates to deflate gate though. I thought it was time to raise the white flag for Brady to put it away. The NFL Roger Goodell was backed into a corner. He had to stand tough against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots because of all the other things, the players thought they had gotten away with previously. When you look at this situation? Tom Brady was there and Drew Bledsoe was traded to buffalo, Tom Brady was there when Seymour was traded, Tom Brady has seen all the things. That take place there and there's a ruthless efficiency in that organization and everybody who's part of it knows that they're part of it. So if you don't feel necessarily as a pre shaded as you hope to be, you're probably in the wrong spot. That's your mindset. We're John gruden's returned to coaching. It's not after the slickest start with Khalil Mack holding out of camp and reportedly ducking the new raiders coach. Now Gruden says the defense wasn't any good. Even when MAC was there last year and reports of service that Khalil an team, they haven't had contract toxins. February Whitlam is Jon Gruden mishandling Khalil Mack. I don't know because I really want to hear what Eric in bookie Brooks have to say because of the way he's handling Khalil. Mack says to me that, hey, Kalou, you've been a great player, but our defense hasn't been great with you here. So maybe you're not as valuable as you think you are. I find it fascinating and it makes me wonder, but maybe the splash plays or there for Khalil Mack, but maybe he's unsound and other areas that I'm not aware of it does feel clumsy doesn't. It is real clumsy, but being with Jon Gruden back in ninety eight..
