Brave Republicans Confront DOJ About Whitmer 'Entrapment'

"A handful of Intrepid Republicans, and it's, it shouldn't be a handful. It should be the Republicans in a unified political phalanx. But no, it takes the brave ones to go out front. And here I'm talking about, I'm gonna name them. It's led by Marjorie Taylor Greene, but you've got Scott Perry, Dan bishop, Andrew Clyde, Andy Biggs, bob good, Mary Miller, Paul gosar, Andy Harris, Louie gohmert, Thomas massie Matt Gaetz, well, what are they doing? In the aftermath of the exoneration of two key defendants in the Whitmer kidnapping trial, the pressing attorney general Garland for some specific answers. Now, trying to get answers out of Garland is not an easy business. This is like going to the consigliere of Don Corleone and saying, hey, listen, we're we want to find out more about the mafia. You're actually talking to the mafia. But nevertheless, this needs to be done. And so this is a stinging letter and a demand. Of Merrick Garland copied a Christopher wray, and the questions themselves are telling, let me just read a couple of them. Who within the DoJ and the FBI knew about or was involved in the plot to kidnap governor Whitmer, tell us. Remember, this is a letter being sent by the legislators to the executive branch, which is accountable to the legislative branch. Number two, to what extent would the DoJ and the FBI motivated by the 2020 presidential election to paint political opponents as domestic terrorists specifically Vis-à-vis the plot to kidnap governor Whitmer and the events of the U.S. capitol on January 6th, 2021. In other words, this is not just at the FBI staging orchestrating infiltrating and moving along a plot. This is the FBI timing those events to coincide with an election. So the issue here being raised is the election interference, very important issue because these revelations came to light in early October of 2020.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Visited Accused Jan. 6 Rioters in Jail

"Welcome back to one on one with Marjorie Taylor Greene. Marjorie, it's such an indictment of the business as usual, political establishment, not just the rhinos, but actually the GOP establishment that we've had hundreds of arrests. We've had the FBI chase down people who weren't even inside Congress on January 6th in Alaska. I've got friends telling me my friend was not even near Congress and they tracked her with the phone data. The phone company gave the geolocating data were you outside Congress, just insanity, the FBI hunting down these people instead of BLM or antifa. You are one of a handful of politicians, citizen politicians whose actually trying to get to the bottom of it and to fight for these Americans who are guaranteed by our constitution, a speedy, a speedy judicial process, you went to the prison, they refused you access you were so kind to call us after your visit for those who didn't hear your story. Tell us what you found when you went to this hellhole in D.C. where these people are being kept prisoner. I found something I never thought I'd see in our country. I found something that we've seen in movies and we hear stories about in other countries. I found out that what I thought was Internet rumors and not fully true, I found out it's all true. Everything we've been hearing is true about what's happening is January 6th defendants. Not only that I've talked to people who've had their homes raided by the FBI in the dark of night. I talked to one man and his wife, where they had handcuffed their child with handcuffed and she was dragged out in the front yard and nothing but a nightie and then the small town newspaper where they lived took a picture of her and put her on the front page of the newspaper, and that woman wasn't even in Washington, D.C. on January 6th. She was in California at home. And this is what's happening, but then I met people and Sebastian, I want to tell you I tried for months to get in that jail and several of my colleagues went with me, Louie gohmert, Matt Gaetz, Paul gosar, Andy Biggs, bob good. Those are the ones that have come along. They've been there every time, but they've definitely tried to. And I've tried every single time to get in. But finally, we went in, we were allowed for a tour of the whole jail. Well, I want to tell you we saw the whole jail. Except. Except the January 6th event in area, except the patriot wing. And then what did you do? Oh, I pitched a

Painter Bob Ross Is Subject of New Netflix Documentary

"Phone line. We welcome our good friend, Dr. Bob Thompson, professor of pop culture at Syracuse University. A Bob Good Morning. Good morning to you. So let's start an excuse me. I almost started coughing here, so I have not seen this yet. But I must say By this new documentary with Bob Ross, because I feel like this is going to really complicate the legacy of the artists that we all know, painted happy little trees pretty well. It doesn't so much complicate his personal legacy comes off pretty much as the usual Bob Ross with a couple of little revelations, an affair and a number of other things, but it certainly complicates the Legacy of who controls Bob Ross. His name and all the rest of it. I will think twice before ordering a Bob Ross mug after I see this stuff after I saw the documentary So the the back story behind this is you have the and I hope I get this right. The his family, the Kagalovsky family. Is that close to how to pronounce it. Okay. So you've got you've got Bob Ross, Uh and Annette and Walter Kowalski. Who were the ones? Of course. Who, uh, kind of helped him too. Become more popular with the T V show, which, of course, would then lead to the sales of his stuff in his seminars, his painting lessons and all of the rest of it, But then Bob Ross also has a son. So Bob Ross dies. This Bob Ross Inc kind of takes things over Bob Ross, his son loses control of, you know the name Bob Ross and all the rest of it, And mostly this documentary is the revelations of Ross, his son of things that happened after he died. But in the course of all that, there are also a lot of great clips of our Bob Ross's TV show and all the rest of it. And if you have not yet discovered, and there was kind of a renaissance of this show after he died, If you've not yet discovered it, it might make you go and take a look. He made television like

"Sound, Bob, Good old You hear it, dude every week, save his own life. Essentially, it's like an intervention podcast where every week we check on Go how long you've been clean, He tells the amount of days And we kind of tell stories about you know the drug abuse in the past and make him of the movies, everything. It's kind of like this is your life, and it's shocking and wonderful and fun, and it's sad like Well, we'll sit there and hear stories about, you know, dude being locked in the closet in a stranger's house, so his mom could go off and do heroin. And then he quick tell the story about watching Ben Affleck masturbate. So you know, it's got everything emotional gamut. We're doing that live in this theater. In Toronto Scotiabank Theatre, and it's being streamed broadcast into theaters all around the United States and Canada all around North America. So even if you're not there, you could be there with us. And since we're doing is interactive, so after the podcast we're doing like an hour and a half Q and a. So We're taking questions from my all the theaters, Not just the people that were awesome with You tweeted a question. We're gonna be like, man. There's a student. Tampa wants to know this and boom. We're talking to you. Even though we're not in the room. It should be kind of fun. I love it. It sounds like fun, and I got a confession to make. And I hope this doesn't make me I've seen every one of your films and love them. I have not yet seen Red State. It's been in my queue and Netflix forever. Please give me a compelling reason to finally stop the breaking bad marathon that I'm doing to get caught up and watch Red State An excellent one. There's two breaking bad alumnus in Red States. You can segue right over Matt Jones, who plays Beaver. He's in an up beaver badger badger. He's in red State. And then, uh, and a gun who plays the wife. She's also in red. Still. Skylar MOVIES dope Dude, If I could give you any one reason to watch it, Michael Parks performance as a band Cooper is I mean in the entire movie, Let's say the movies about, say, 90 minutes, Max with credit. I would say he's in about 2025 minutes of the movie. Even if you skip the rest of the movie. Just watch his stuff. Your mind will see her man. It will melt This dude reinvents performance is so fantastic. I'm all over. I'm going to check it out. I'm going to I'm going to make an analogy for you. And I want you to to you know that this is a tribute from me as a huge green day fan like when? When I saw clerks, it was like green days earlier work before Dukie came out like their earlier raw pop punk stuff. And then when I saw clerks to it reminded me of what Green Day became when they did the rock opera stuff, not the same band that you fell in love with. But a band that had evolved through the years learned how to add things to their craft. And still, the product is better than 99.9% of the stuff out there. That's the way I felt about Clerks, two versus Clerks Does that make sense to you? And is that a compliment? Does it melts my heart, man? That means the world to me. The sad thing is, we can't remain Rank amateurs forever. You know, it's like to be able to kind of make a movie with the raw rank amateur energy of clerks. You know, you can only get one bite at that apple right after suddenly you're pro or if you're lucky you're pro. So it takes a lot to kind of figure out how to continue doing stuff that you like to do and that people recognize but also grow as an artist at the same time, and I thought clerks to have kind of a nice amalgam like Yeah, definitely. Showed that I'd learned a thing or two about moving the camera and we had a bit of a budget. And there were some, you know, recognizable faces in it. But other than that the spirit of the movie was kind of there, you know, and and that for me. I love that movie so much to do is one of my favorites, if not my all time favorites. But Red State was the one that was made with the closest sensibility to clerk like Honestly, Clerks and Red State is a wonderful double feature because they're both made with urgent passion and energy with somebody who didn't give a about what would eventually happen. I love it if you had to pick one of your films, Kevin that made you say, Oh, geez, I don't know if I could do that over again. I'd do something different. Which one would it be? I mean, I guess hands down, it would be cop out. A lot of people accept this Expect Jersey girl by like Jersey girls, you too bad timing with benefit and whatnot. But your cop out, man, I would. I would definitely have changed a thing or two. Maybe one of the cast members. I believe me that dude wasn't going anywhere. If anybody was going anywhere, it was going to be me. So it was either play the ball where it lays or kind of leave altogether. And honestly, there are moments where I'm like. Well, I could have walked away from it all together. But you know, you do things in life and they lead to other things. You don't understand why you do them. But then suddenly one day you do. I was sitting there in the office of the Dude in New York. Who is not from the movie business from the clothing business, and we're meeting with him about potentially investing in red state. And the guy goes, I said to him, Damien, did you read the script of No, I don't need to. I said, really why he goes because I saw a movie that your name on it stars Bruce Willis, So I know you know how to make movies up. He will be a half the budget right there. So in that moment, I was just like you know what? I guess That's why did cop out. That's why that's why it happened. "As it should. Every day. Over the weekend, we learned a bit more about just how far the links to which Whitmer administration was willing to go to try to get all of us to abide by its covid policies, including the Mask mandate, the fact that they were enlisting the help of Law enforcement agencies all over the state of Michigan. To essentially, I guess be the police Department for the Health and Human Services Department. We turned to a good friend, Robert Stevenson, the executive director of the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, One of the people who got that email from health and human services director Robert Gordon. Bob. Good morning or afternoon to you. I'm on the wrong side of the clock yet again. Mm. Good afternoon guy. How are y'all? Well, obviously challenged and too many ways to count here. So when you when you got this email, did it come as kind of a shark and exactly what was director Gordon asking of you and the Michigan Sheriff's Association and others? Well, it was an introductory email, which actually led to a video presentation to well to myself on their plan, And it was a plan that the Governor had put together to help mitigate the pandemic. Uh, that was going on in some measure some safety measures that were there which we supported fully the 90%. Of what was proposed for our association. The sticking point was going to be at the press conference that ourselves and the sheriff Would be the enforcement of that order and for a multitude of reasons, we didn't think that was in the best interest of our police agencies. So let's let's kind of break that down there where I know there were legal concerns. What were the legal reservations that you had? Well, we had recently seen that her emergency order had been declared illegal and we had in departments had been enforcing some of that. So violations that were issued during part of that were then nullified. And I think there was some reticence there. We've already seen part of an order declared illegal and we certainly didn't want to get involved in a situation where the legality of it wasn't clear. So that was that was one factor that went into our decision. Well, and I would have to imagine, too, that there were considerations about manpower considerations about what this would do to 911 dispatcher. I mean, just some practical considerations. That's correct, and that was one of the overwhelming concerns there. When this all started originally, the eggs office had pointed out. If you have issues with violations on mask violations, in particular to contact your local police, and we did see a tremendous increase in calls to 9 11. Centers about people not wearing masks and such. I mean people were calling in saying the neighbor's kids were outside, not wearing mask. And why did the police to go out there? So the majority of police departments in the state of 25 people or less And we just simply do not have the manpower that is there And then another consideration is the state does have their own police department. They have police officers with the A G s office and they have the Michigan State police. So it wasn't that we were the only police agencies that were there. There were other resources available to them. Were you a little surprised? Maybe that Director Gordon didn't have a greater appreciation for the daily challenges that those smaller departments and even large departments have just covering all of the corners of the city that they're responsible for. I don't know if it was surprised as much. Gordon is just people sometimes don't realize what other people's jobs are because they're not doing them. So I don't think that that was one of the considerations, but we did point out them. That our concerns were. We do have priorities that are out there. And sometimes there are a lot higher. And another thing, too is this is in the time when we're trying to foster excellent police community relationships, and a lot of those mask orders were highly contentious. Mhm that he's were divided as to whether or not you should follow them or shouldn't follow them, and I think it just wasn't in the best interests of us to get in the middle of it. Well, and you think there would have been a greater appreciation for the challenges that you have regarding people marching in the streets, calling for the the funding of police, which, by the way, I believe his boss was doing, Let's pass. Last summer. Um and that this is you know, this is a challenging time. Do you think it would have been effective if you had complied if you had agreed to do it? I'm not sure whether it would have been effective or not. I guess most people would voluntarily comply, and that's the fact that we wanted to take anyways, was not to run out an issue violations right away. To educate people. The vast vast majority of the people will voluntary comply with laws, especially to educate them on it. We didn't want to go out and just start writing tickets. We much preferred in those cases where we did have to become involved that we take an education angle and not an enforcement angle. Well, and I think that was I mean, I guess that was the point that I was very and artfully trying to get to is that the fact that had had you gone out and started writing summons and citations that even those that would have voluntarily complied? Might have been rubbed the wrong way, and it would have led to less compliance. Not more. Possibly And it certainly would have been an irritant when it comes to police community relations at the time that we are keenly aware that we're trying to improve our relationships of perceptions..

A FT will have to ask Joe Nominee to investigate Hunter Biden for potential felony. A group of House Republicans sent a letter Monday calling on President Joe Biden's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives nominee David Chipman to investigate Hunter Biden if confirmed for reportedly falsifying information during a federal background check in order to illegally obtain the handgun. The letter to Chipman, first obtained by The Daily Caller was written by Republican Virginia representative Bob Good, never heard of him and signed by over 20 House Republicans. In the letter, Good asks Chipman to publicly commit to investigating Hunter Biden referencing a political report that said Biden answered no The question about drug use on the firearms transaction record for the gun he purchased in October off 2018 his lying because he was kicked out of the Navy for being a addict crack cocaine addict that is a felony when he lied on that form. Just two years prior, Biden had been discharged from the Navy reserve after testing positive for cocaine. Biden also allegedly sent a text message on January 29th 2019, saying his former sister in law Then his girlfriend. Yeah, it's biblical. Holly Biden stole the gun from the trunk of his car on the police and the Secret Service investigated the fact that she threw it away due to concerns that he might hurt himself. Here's my point. This, Bob? Good. Whoever you are. Your joke. You're not a joke. You're writing to the guy who isn't even the director of the A. T. F, who is the former chief of police for Tucson, who, by the way, was photographed in uniforms holding up a black lives matter sign. He's totally woke. He's your enemy. I want to say, I don't think that Pelosi is going to tear up this year speech because she may have possibly written one of the chapters in that speech this year. She's also going to be mumbling during the speech, but for different reasons, he's gonna say Joe know you're not a senator. You're the president. That's what she's gonna be mumbling. Like last year, but she's gonna be whispering as it as a dentures. Waffle Ranch is gonna be whispering into biting Beijing's ear. Right? Right. Go ahead. You wanted to talk about Rudy. Yes, He was the best player in the history of our country, And I think we should put a stop and frisk back into place because it was Rudy's idea, and he was always right. But I don't think you should cooperate with those that are investigating it because the Democrats, they don't go with their standards that they set like we saw with the Russian collusion hopes We were. There was zero evidence that they got a special counsel when it came to Hunter Biden. They said that the evidence is incredible. We have sources. But according to their standards, you don't need any evidence. You just need some sources right so he shouldn't watch rate with them because they're not standing and they're not going to go by their standards. What? Why? Why was why was really the best Mayor America's ever had. I mean, the numbers of crimes were so low. It was so high before he came in, and then it was really low when when he left or even during when he was mayor. And now you know, I'm afraid to go on the train on the bus. In the city most I'm serious. I'm not afraid to walk in the streets, but a few years ago, I would not have been afraid to go on a train. Did you? Did you see the footage? Did you see the footage from the Bronx of that detective being assaulted on camera? No, I I maybe I heard about it. I didn't see no OK, it's on my Twitter feed. I'm gonna re posted now. "It's a big opening day today at Navy Pier even though the pier is still closed, Big New Hotel is opening and the CEO at Maverick Hotels and restaurants is with us now, Bob Bobby, How you doing, Bob? Good morning bombs. I admire you because let's see Navy Pier temporarily closed probably till spring, and the hotel business is tough right now, But you're going ahead with the big opening today. How do you feel about it All? Honestly, we feel good. I think our timing is right. You know, we finished the construction of the hotel in November and decided it wasn't the right time to open and narrowed forward until today, and It just feels right today. We're telling people that it's probably the only time in history they'll have Navy appeared of themselves and then the period when the period opens, that we think that the You know, there'll be a reverse of activity down counts. Now talk about why you're calling this stable. That's name of the hotel s A B l E. What's that all about? You know, that's a great story for those of your listeners. That historians shit downtown Chicago Lord, you know that During the Second World War, Navy pier was actually Enable training facility and they ward an aircraft carrier off the end of the pier to train pilots and take off and touchdown landings. And that crack carrier was the USS able And we thought that was just a great connection for the pier and a terrific story and we decided to name the hotel after that aircraft carrier disable. Yeah, This is this is quite some property and tell us a little bit about the hotel. You have Ah, lot of meeting space and event space. And what is it more than 200 guest rooms in the hotel? 223 guest rooms at the same time that we're opening the hotel will be opening a new restaurant on the pier Lyrica. Which is I was inspired by Latin cuisine, small plates and and share a bles and so on. The hotel also has about 5000 Square feet of meeting space. And, of course, is Probably five FT from Festival Hall, which is the second largest Free span space in the city of Chicago. So we're blessed with a lot of amenities. Bob, I know you've been in the hospitality of business for 40 years. I'm sure you've never seen anything like we've gone through in the past year with the pandemic. The hotel occupancy rates right now. About half what they were two years ago today, But I love that you're optimistic. Talk about why you you feel so positively about all this. I think we're going to see people come out of their caves in big numbers through the summer months, and I think we're already starting to see it. We've as an industry seen an uptick in reservations, future reservations. Um that where there's very courage Ng on the more that we see on the news people getting their vaccines and that the positivity rate has stayed in the relatively modest number more hope that we have by summer will be living our lives a little more normally, after the summer, we get back into the A part of the year that we live off so conventions and business travelers in Chicago and it might be a little bit more difficult, but I personally think the business traveler might come back faster than most people expect. You know, people do business in the city haven't seen their customers in the year and I'm sure they're ready to get back and text their their customers again. Well with your hotel opening today and also offshore, the world's largest rooftop bar. It's It's a great way to in enjoy the pier before all all the crowds come back and and speaking of those crowds. Ah, and I don't know how much you know about this Bob. But apparently Navy Pier is going to use some new optical sensors to monitor where crowds are and where they aren't so that at least as we get through the final what we hope will be the final months of the pandemic. People can Stay safe on the pier. And and that's the most important thing right now, isn't it? It is. Yeah, that's amazing technology. Yup, That's something that they're going to be using when they reopened this spring, and as far as the hotel goes and and the rooms You're sort of modeling everything so that it it pays homage to the pier and Chicago history. Correct Way had an entirely Chicago based team, including designer Jackie Coup architect designer Jack Cope and make you Construction who built the hotel and Jackie took great care to Not not make the hotel look like a cruise ship, but really not too bad, whole nautical theme and you see it whispered throughout the hotel and really were thrilled with the way that the hotel turned out. We're excited to get people over there. One of the interesting things about you know what we learned it offshore to our surprise was Offshore was not a tourist hang out. It was a local hangout. Upwards of 80% of our business were locals and we think we'll see the same with lyric and we think the hotel will will also be a great amenity for for us to live here in the city. It's uh, the curio collection by Hilton. That's the hotel the stable at Navy Pier and Bob Habib is the CEO at maverick hotels and restaurants. He's the

"Known best for being better By the way, the Museum of Sanction Industry will open to the public again. March 7th and Listen. I'm very grateful. And I'm sure you are, too that can Griffin Donated $125 million to the museum. But we're not going to call it the candidacy. Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, Okay, let's just make that clear. Now at almost 7 23. It's time for extreme. Extremely local news from Block club Chicago. It shame is too we How you doing Shame is I'm not unwell, Bob. Good morning. That's a good way to put it. Let's talk about the police installing license plate readers. To slow the Carjacking, Serge? Yeah, That's right. We've We've spoken a lot about the rise in Carjackings that really started last year. You know, there was 1400 the city last year. They're only been about 600 a year before they really not slow down in January in early February, so the police have been getting a lot of questions about what are they doing to help solve these? A couple weeks ago, they announced that they were gonna put more Detectives on the units. They were going to go out and talk to the victims on the scene, treat these a little bit more seriously than they had in the past. What we heard this week that a new tactic that they're doing is they're Putting more license plate tracker's up and down Lake Shore Drive. The idea is a lot of these air happening along the lakefront. There's been some of Lakeview and like in park and often, lakeshore drive is sort of the getaway path, so obviously it's not gonna You know, it's not going to put an end to it, but they're trying really hard to to better track these cars. Once they start to leave the neighborhood get a better idea of where they're going and who's doing it. So, uh, interesting strategy that I know they put one. They were moving some cameras around getting him closer to the Kennedy Expressway. With the idea that he's just trying is trying to track the getaway routes and discourage people and locks. Lock up some of the people that are doing this. So they're doing in Wicker Park in Bucktown as well, aren't they? Yeah, That's right. There's uh there's right at the entrance way to the Kennedy there, Finn installing the cameras there, and they're trying to put some some Uh, some important intersections just, you know, give the police just a little bit more footage to try to figure out where these guys went. Let's hope that helps. There's a job training center that is going to open on the West side and this will fulfill a big need wanted. Absolutely. This is a This is a cool story that this is called the North Lawndale Employment Network, which is up until next month. It had been spread out in areas all around the West side. Just look five different locations for all their different programs. But beginning March 15th or opening up a brand new center. They're going to consolidate everything under one roof of former bank location that 11 11 South Homan and they do a bunch Things one of the most public facing and my favorite part of it is they operate a company called Sweet Beginnings, which has bee hives, and they make they make these wax they make honey. They make all kinds of beauty products for sale in the employee formerly incarcerated people and give him a chance to get a first job when they get back on the street, so that place is called sweet beginnings. And they make this product called the love. I thought. Everyone. I know that stuff for Christmas. My my family is the is the washing and West side honey products, But it's a It's a cool network. They also had evil mechanic training. They're gonna have a financial literacy center in there. That win trust is gonna help. Operate, and just really they're trying to get people. Um, job training. Give them just a bunch of the different tools that they're gonna need. Tonto really try toe cut the unemployment rate in the North Lawndale neighborhood and elsewhere on the West side. Hopefully, yeah, Let's let's hope it it works out. And finally, what's the story of the Lincoln Square Dragon? Exactly when we can't end this without a little bit of fun Neighborhood. Uh, fluff. This is thing is a story about the Lincoln Square neighborhood. There was a couple there that they're out shoveling over the weekend. And they you know, they obviously like all of us have got a huge piles of snow, and they realize it's gotta looks a little bit like a dragon here. And so they went to work at it. They said. They really wanted to make a snow beast. So it took a long time. But we've got some photos of it. Block Club Chicago Dad or G'kar they built. This must be about a 25 ft. Dragon up and down the sidewalk that now it's become a neighborhood hit. You know how people are coming and taking photos of it and posing in front of it and going a little crazy Twitter and instagram? Um, but it's you know, they stuck stuck candle lights in it. I So it glows and all the neighborhood kids love. It will give up shut up to the people that did it was Alexis Hoffman and warn window. They created it, and Warren said, You know, the Dragon was already there. We just carved away the parts that didn't look like a dragon. So e think they're channeling Michelangelo there, But it was fun little. It was a fun little project. I would imagine there's a lot more fun when it was 30 degrees than when it's 10 degrees to go out there doing it, But Stuff, but he was looking for it. It's on the 4900 block of North Washtenaw and the way field outside now, it will probably be there for a couple months. Yeah, don't tell Joon Take the kids 4900 black of North Washington, right in front of an apartment building there. Thank you. Shameless to me. You have a great weekend..

"From Virginia is recognized for one minute. Thank you. I stand today in support of President Trump and against the sham impeachment proceeding. Would literally one week seven days remaining in his term. This is merely the culmination of a four year effort overturn the will of the people and the results for the 2016 election. This is simply a political action intended to tarnish the legacy of a highly successful president. Who led us to an incredible economy and energy independence, reduction of taxes for millions, regulatory relief for businesses, renewed peace in the Middle East and stronger border security. This action will only serve to further offend the 75 million people who voted for President Trump and further deepen the division within our nation as we try to move forward with a peaceful transition of power. However, the Democrat majority has determined he's already guilty. And there's no need of a trial and therefore move forward quickly with this phony impeachment charge today, I enjoyed my Republican colleagues and standing against this further effort to divide our nation. Thank you know you're back. That's Congressman Bob Good. Who's a Republican from Virginia, New York is recognized. In a speaker. And are you 30 seconds? This thing was gentleman from Texas. This require the gentleman from Texas is recognized for 30 seconds. Thank you, Madam Speaker. I rise in support of the impeachment. It's very simple. What we saw. On January, 6 was a person, the press of the United States inside of crowd to come and attack the crowd the capital. We have to make sure that we stand up for democracy. If we don't do this, then what are we going to stand for? We stand for democracy. We stand for American values, and I stand for the impeachment of Donald Trump. You're back to bounce. The gentleman yield to that Congressman Henry Crayon, a Democrat from Texas and is actually considered when the Congress is most conservative Democrats. Gentleman.

"Let's go to before we went to break. We played that sound bite from Kamala Harris when she said that every year we have Kwanza and we have the candles and we talk about the principles and I'm calling Be as so Let's hear what block Why you batting your eyes like that, Because she's full of it. She's so full of it. I do not believe for a second that she sits around discussing the principles. She's a liar. Just like she said. She listened. Oh, she met up with Park the other day, she said, or something. Let's go to Bob from Long Island. Good morning, Bob. Good morning, guys. That war you? I figured, let me call in the Verdean shit because I love those gentlemen, and I got to give you guys the same respect because you're filling in for the great Great Morning host. Yes. You know how this woman so into Kwanza and saying that past generations were celebrating Kwanzaa and her family when quasi was invented in 1966? She was born in 1964. So, yeah, I mean her past generations like into her childhood. Don't understand what she meant. So I'm calling bs also with you, Bob. You know, this'll is crazy that people are gonna buy into this. I mean, okay, What's even crazier. She's a heartbeat away from the president Say, let's go to a quick I just wanted to go through the phone close quickly. Let's go to J. C from Long Island. Good morning, Jason Video. That's my girl. Remember farmer education, sports, entertainment, politics, all bought and paid for Lydia. You're all over the radio now lighting it up in the truth, and hopefully Dominique can get unleashed. Andre set the people free with his truth. You know you you both are gonna turn the city around and bring back the proper laws like bail reform. You know what? Thank you. J C Because because lady and I are gonna call it the way it is the bottom line. That's it, and you can't have people robbing people and then saying, Well, I'm going to say I'm going to say it. You can't have people robbing people. Let's say the suspect this African American and then a judge going well because of your upbringing, which is gonna let you go because the Legislature has said that because of Kalief Browder And that's not a laughing matter at all. Because Khalif Gravel spent that time in Rikers Island, he refused to cop out for stealing the book bag, and he spent two years in prison Often it's horrific. What happened to him? But you know for a judge to go well. You know your pointy you know you're African American and We're gonna let you go. They went too far. They went too far, just like with the bail reform law because what happens to Khalif? But that was horrific. Nobody should be in prison for years because of a book bag. But then Jon Katz materials I was hosting co hosting with him one day, and he was telling a story about his security guard at his. I believe it was the hell's kitchen. Location for STD's that a security officer there because you know, he has the supermarkets apprehended a shoplifter and I think the shoplifter was let go. And the security officer was in jail for two days. Doing his job. Wow, That's what's happening to our city. And that's why you have cops that are like I'm not getting involved. The security officer was just doing his job. So we're kind of in this bizarro world where the people that are trying to do their jobs. They're the ones getting in trouble. They're the ones getting arrested. They're the one spending time in jail and you've got people that are giving birth. They can't be called women. I mean, what planet are we? Are we on anymore? Now? Do you want one further the street crimes unit Right now. They got in trouble that their slogan was we own the night of the NYPD. The unit, the four officers and the Amadou Diablo case in which 41 shots were fired and he was reaching for his wallet. That's very sad. Very unfortunate. The officers were cleared and a quarter law up in opening. There was a change of venue on that case. But there has to be some middle ground between. We can't have the level of stop and frisk of black and Latino New Yorkers of what it was in that federal case under Bloomberg..

"What's the very latest. Like i know this is very fluid and changing and what you say now is not going to be true five minutes from now but his as best you're able to to grab and try to grasp some water in your hand and not let it slip through your fingers. Where are we at. I think we're in the grinding stage. There grinding away at the protocols there grinding away at the schedule there. Grinding away at the setup the divisions temporary realignment there grinding away at the transition rules. All of this stuff and you know basically people have been telling me it's endless. Zoom calls trying to figure it out and the players in the league decided that they're not going to touch their ask ro. They said they weren't doing that. But in order to to a greater deferments they said we consider certain things one was not this upcoming season but next season which is twenty one twenty two extra five hundred thousand dollars on the cap. Another five hundred thousand a year later and the league wasn't willing to go for that. I know they suggested compliance buyouts but as long as the players didn't have to pay for them and the league wasn't going for that. I think that one thing that also had been talked about was could individual players. Say yes we're willing to defer even if the whole group didn't agree to it but that was way too complicated and it didn't go anywhere so they didn't go anywhere on the financials and now they're you know they're grinding away. All the other stuff taxi squad. How big the is going to be if the ross twenty five people. How does that affect the cab house. The realignment gonna work first. Minnesota was in the pacific and then saint. Louis was in the pacific. Minnesota was out and then they were talking about saint louis and minnesota going to the pacific and dallas going into the central division. Apparently dallas has said. You know we'll do whatever but they laugh the pacific a few years ago to get back into that that central time zone so they're happy With doing that. I know the players were hoping to vote end of the weekend maybe beginning of next week and the league sort of middle towards end of next week. I think that's what everyone's kind of aiming for so as you mentioned off the top. They're the latin packing that you mentioned that they're not touching the financial some conversation about it. And will you do this if we do that. But ultimately that remains the same and they move onto the return to play. All the protocols involve is this the rare case. And we'll do this all under the umbrella of the current incarnation of this. Nhl goes back to. Oh four zero. Five and bob good now and the salary cap etcetera. Is this the first case that we've seen where the nhl pa dug in its heels. Didn't give in didn't budge and one. Here's why i'm not giving you a yes sooner or later. This bill is going to get paid. I think this generation of players could say yes we won. We stood strong. We agreed to a deal. We didn't move from the deal. Though thing that the commissioner is right about from what he said publicly is that it's a fifty fifty deal yup and at some point in time the bill has to be paid and the biggest issue. The owners have is cash flow. This is why some of them are really upset. Cash flow is going to be down in the league. Because there's going to be no fans in the building. This year will not be fifty fifty. It's going to tip towards the players. Probably the most ever. It's going to tip towards the players and the escrow that's going to be collected is in no way going to be equal what's going to be owed. Yup it's possible. After this year the players are gonna. Oh the owners more than a billion dollars as a matter of fact depending on who you locked talk to. It's not just possible. It's likely i'm just being careful. 'cause i'm getting my math from everywhere else and i haven't sat down and done it myself. But it's likely that they're going to owe them more than a billion dollars and the problem. Is that the schedule of that. Pay is slower than the owners would like. So there's gonna be some cash flow issues so they're unhappy but what it means is. Is that the cap is not going to go up. Maybe for the entirety of this. Cba yup so that affects the players and the other thing is at some point in time. This money is going to become do. And what's that going to mean like their owners right now. Who are saying their concern. Is that this six year deal. There's a time where it gets triggered to seventh year if the losses are at a certain amount and they will be so after seven years the players are still gonna hold the owners money and that's going to become part of the next cba and what that's gonna mean and this might send us all into retirement. Jeff is that six or seven years from now there's gonna be one hell of being negotiated all because the owners are gonna come into. Its saying you owe us hundreds of millions of dollars and the players are going to say well we think part of it. Some of that should be forgiven worried about this. This is a long term thing. But i can tell you the owners are thinking about it now and the league is thinking about it now so the only reason. I say it's not unequivocal. Yes for the players is that there are some players playing now who are going to be hugely affected by this. What was the line that you used on me on hockey central. Oh this is Travis ajax sang jack hughes. Yeah you're going to pick up this bill and that's definitely part of this so i think the current players. It's a win the guys who won't be playing in six or seven years. It's a win but the guys who will be it's not a win historically though is just as an aside. I mean bob. Good no talked about this in the four. Oh five negotiation salary caps always pit player versus player. Because you define a pie. Everyone fights for their piece of it so it shouldn't come to any surprise that again. This is the players association. Saying you know what if anyone's going to get stuck with the bill here. It's going to be the kids. The rookies amongst all the players that are capped. And everybody is the rookies triple capped. You know there's a team salary cap. There's an individual players salary cap and there's a rookie salary cap as well. This is the history. This is the history of Of the of the nhl or and happens in in every sport is always the guys that are coming in like. Listen shane right. Hasn't played a single game in the nhl. He's affected by this decision. Yes absolutely and you know if go back. Fifteen years. The highest paid players in the nba or the picks glen robinson number one. Pick think nine hundred nine ninety five sixty nine million and the people in the league were like we're stopping this. The veterans are said. This is crazy so they came up with the nba rookie salary cap. You look at the nfl. The quarterback so used to be taken to the top of the draft. Anybody got taken to the top of the draft huge deals. The veterans said. We're putting a stop to this and they did. That's the way it works and it's not just like that in sports there's unions all over the world that do this kind of thing they take care of the current worker at the expense of the future. One it's not unusual and that's exactly what happened here sooner or later. This bill is going to become do okay so you talked about how this to the grind time right now in the nhl in the players association trying to get this thing hammered outs I'm curious about a couple of things here on vaccines in a second But in the summer players were allowed to opt out. Now is a much different time. We didn't know as much about covid. Nineteen as we do now. We knew the we are heading into unknown. But was the bubble entire landscape. Can we just didn't know there were questions. And there were certain risks as some players opted out in. Everyone said no problem we understand. How much is opt out an issue right now boy. That's a great question. I think we could see some retirements. Yep i think the other thing is how comfortable do some people feel like playing if you watch the news and don't live in a cave or read the news. We are two or three months away from the vaccine. starting to have a real positive effect on society. We probably won't have full fans until next season. Dr fauci said a week ago. The next league to begin its season with full fans will likely be the nfl in september but were getting closer however these next two months. They're going to be ugly painful

"Awaiting results over the course of the next few days from a bunch of really pivotal states. But let's put the presidential election on the back burner for just a moment because there were a bunch of other races that played out Did you know that of all of the House races considered tossups across the country that Republicans won? Almost all of them. All of this house races around the country. Republicans just claimed up last night. If you look at the New York Times, and how they're covering this, they'd just run down there got a big list of possible it's all are plus seven r plus seven R. Plus 18 are plus for Republican after Republican after Republican winning in all of these toss ups. The effect right now has been That Republicans have netted four new seats in the House. They flipped a total of six Democrats flipping a total two seats, and one of the tossups actually was right here in our area, Virginia's fifth congressional district where Bob Good handily defeated Cameron Web. Remember this was supposed to be a neck and neck race. A lot of questions about whether or not Cameron Web. The physician who had worked with the president with the former president, United States, President Obama could beat Republican Bob Good. Bob Good, is replacing the incumbent Republican Denver, Riggleman there after he won the party nomination. Bob Good, succeeding so a Republican heading T in the United States Congress, saying keeping nasty Republican in Virginia on at a time when the rest of the Commonwealth seemed to have voted for Ah, At least it's a statewide matter for Democrats. You see Mark Warner. Defeating Daniel Gayed Virginia called for Joe Biden yesterday. But on that standard race, Mary Daniel Gate as of this morning, not conceding Mark Warner. Interesting now the advantage that Warner has seems like it's insurmountable. Warner's up. 55.6% Dale Gate 44 44.4% for the full 11 points Back. In fact, Daniel Gate was on last night speaking to our Larry O'Connor, and this is what he had to say. Of those millions of people have supported me. They're financially or by their vote. I'm super proud of him, and we're not conceding anything, because there's nothing to concede because I'm winning right now. Last night. A lot of questions about Virginia's. You saw those results trick it trickle in last night. It was. It's interesting when you look at these these local races and and I'd like to see how much especially for the incumbent, Logan, Mark Warner. I think India Gate had a huge a mountain to climb because of name recognition. We talk about this so much, but it is amazing how many people will vote for the name that they recognize. I don't know anything about this guy. So there are no things instead of finding out about Daniel gave they, you know, Vote for Mark Warner. But also you have the people who vote just based on the letter after the person's name and a lot of Democrats so that those are two big hurdles. Daniel Gate had to climb now. Why is he not conceding? He's going to keep fighting it out, apparently. But again, he's got a huge margin to overcome. You know who doesn't have a huge margin overcome who's trapped in a neck and neck race right now is Nick Freytas. He's the Republican challenger to the incumbent, Abigail's fan Burger in Virginia's seventh Congressional district. I'm looking right now at the votes, Mary they are approximately 270 votes apart. 170 individual votes apart right now, fracas is ahead at the moment. This is why this is why voter ideas so important. This is why people should be voting in person. This is why we have to be so careful with, you know, sending out 10,000 ballots and voter rolls need to be cleaned out on a regular basis, as is required by law, but nobody apparently does it. This is why, because elections can be won and lost on 270 ballots. Here's Nick Fracas last night talking about how he's ahead of span Burger and what he had to say to his supporters. Not early goingto.

"We know that's not good on then just reopening it. There's no government package we can pass that could replace or The American economy were on the rebound. We've added more jobs last 45 months that we have in the history of our nation. When we're judging number of jobs at it. We've already got unemployment down to less than 8%, which is, you know, like I did 30 years ago that was considered almost perfect employment under the trump standards that's high because he brought it down to 3%. In the trump economy, and so we've got to get folks safely back to work again. We know who's at greater risk. We know what precautions need to be taken. Thankfully, death are way down. Hospitalizations. Air down infections, air up positive rate of attack. I should say just because we're testing 67 million people a week now and thankfully, therapeutics have made great advancements that treatments are great. And we're close to a vaccine. Congress. Excuse me, Bob Good. Who was running for Congress in the fifth Congressional District. A huge district by the way, I mean, larger than a handful of American state all the way down to the Southern border, Virginia, But it stretches all the way up into Focker County where many of you were listening right now, Mr Good. My suspicion. Is that Nancy Pelosi should she still be a speaker of the house coming when you are sworn in if you win this election On Donald Trump wins the election. And that would mean that Speaker Pelosi would move along another impeachment effort against the president. How would you vote on on articles of impeachment put forth by Nancy Pelosi. Great point. You know, obviously I wouldn't vote against that. But that's the risk. There is. If my opponent were to win, he would absolutely vote in lock step with the rest. The Democrats to impeach are present. As you know, they have already said. If the president wins and they keep the house we're going to impeach him again to try to undo the election and my opponent would vote with those who have endorsed him. The Kamala Harris is the Elizabeth warrant on the Senate side AOC squad members On the house side, you Nancy Pelosi, cholerae, no descent. They mark they vote and lock stabbed within the rules when iron fist and my opponent would be one more impeachment vote if they were to keep the house and after our president won reelection well, and by the way, I put the cart before the horse there because the other important thing about Bob Good Being your congressman there in the fifth district is that he would not vote for Nancy Pelosi as speaker. And that's a selling. You know, we will leave it there. I wish you luck with the campaign Election day is 19 days away. People are listening, and they want to be a part of your victory. What's the best thing they can do? Bob. Good for congress dot com. They can follow what we're doing every day where we are. We're up in Northern Virginia. Lot throughout the district. Of course they can contribute and they can follow. Everything has happened with the campaign. Bob good for congress dot com. Excellent. Thank you, sir. And should you win this election? We look forward to hearing from you on a regular basis here to let us know how things are going in Congress. Count on it would it would really look for doing that as well. Thank you so much, Larry. "This is one of the districts. We need to flip back in order to remove Pelosi. What are the core issues there that you that you're running on? I mean, I can imagine what they are, but you go ahead and articulate. Yeah, it's the same things that across the country that matters so much. It's supporting our police and law enforcing my opponent has called for de funding the police. He's called for eliminating school resource officers. You know, how is that? Not bipartisan. Now basic supporting our police. My opponent is in favor of the green new deal and returning the Pirates climate accords, You know that would you know? Drastically raise energy prices as we know. Cost $90 trillion cost 10 million jobs. He's for single payer health care. For free college for everybody, You know, he wants to repeal the trump tax cuts and reinstate the regulations that president has got. He's for open borders. Sanctuary cities, you know, doesn't want enforce the immigration laws that we have now and the same down the line mentality of the radical left that dominates and really monopolized the Democrat Party and what it's become today. This's very, very important Race. Bob good for congress dot com Bob Good for congress dot com. We have it on my social sites. If you can help him out, I don't care where you are in the country. That they're getting from out of state. Some actors and actresses from athletes. And from these billionaires, I don't know where the Republican Wealthy Republicans. I don't I don't know. It's shocking to me. Now's the time to step up. I mean, this is an election about saving the country. I've said over and over and over again. There's three critical elections in this country. 18 60, 18, 64 and now 2020. That's why I have no tolerance for people who are ah, spinning or splitting hairs or trumps for no We have to stand up for our country. Folks. We have men and women in uniform who go overseas. How holes all over the place. They give up professions. They give up other careers. They're away from their families. Where they make careers in the military. And they do this to protect us. Now we have to protect us. We have were the domestic side. We have to protect us. Protect your family. Protect your home. Protect your job. Protect your way of life. All you have to do is make sure you and five or 10 other people, you know, Vote and vote for Trump. Let's surprise him again on Election Day. Let's have a land slide. We're going to need it with all this mail in voting crap. It's crucially important. You know, I have something serious to talk to you about. I don't have to tell you that we're in the fight for the soul of America. One side in our country claims that America was founded on bad principles and build on oppression. We've even put together he distorted History of America. The New York Times 16 19 project, which they're now trying to adjust. So is to keep it out of the election, but it's too late. It's a whole lights an entire lie that 16 19 project. It's a disaster. Now. The other side knows like we do that our country's Dunmore to achieve an advanced liberty than any nation on Earth. In any nation in history. The best way to fight back, Teach the truth. And today we can learn the true story of America from the college that's better at teaching it than any other. "It's 10 minutes before seven o'clock and attorney at county lock Karen Cutie is with us this morning, as usually is on Wednesdays. How are you, Karen doing Well, Bob. Good morning. Let's talk a little about the Supreme Court. And the appointment of justices, and there's generally a feeling that if Judge is conservative or liberal, they're you know they're going to vote a certain way, but they're still bound by the facts of each case, aren't they? Yeah, And you know, we've seen this over the years, most recently with John Roberts, who was supposed to be a conservative, but he upheld Obama care. So you know, most judges will tell you that I'm not a Republican and a Democrat. I'm not a liberal, not a conservative. I listen to the fact I apply the law and then I'm also bound by precedent. Which means how case has been decided in the past. Because I can't just say, you know, I don't like Roe vs Wade. I don't agree with that ruling, so I'm just going to Nor it That's not what they're bound to do. They have to follow what has been done in the past for good reason, because we don't want courts to be all over the place changing their mind every week. And so I have. I have confidence that judges will follow the law. On the other hand, you can't really you can't separate your feelings and your life experiences from how you roll. You've been before the Supreme Court. What was that like and tell us a little bit about the case. It began. Yeah, we're upping my partner and I represented the Democratic Party. It was the keys for a long time ago over 20 years ago, But the Harold Washington Party was trying to get on the ballot and the question was did they have to feel the full candidates ballot and what kind of a technical issue It was actually very technical issue, But the Supreme Court decided it was very important because it was first. Amendment ballot access case should we be having third parties on our ballot? And we argued there before in the first Monday in October, which is their first day off the session, which is a very It's basically saying that this is one of the most important cases of the of the season. So it was. It was very nerve wracking. Both justices are very intelligent people at the time Justice Marshall with off the bench, and there were the Clarence Thomas Debates were going on. So it's kind of an interesting time to be in Washington, but it was It was very interesting. The people on the bench are very smart beyond smart, and you have to be very prepared. Did anything surprise you? I mean, I'm sure you had ideas of what it would be like in their And once you experience that in person. Was anything very different from what you thought it would be. Um, I saw something very strange happened to me. I was sitting atop the beast or the bar, which is there like a bar that separates and Justice O'Connor, Sandra Day O'Connor. Came out, looked right at me brought her clerk behind her pointed at me, and it's a few minutes later, the bailiff came out and asked me. Are you a member of the bar? You sitting in the right place? And I said, I said, Well, sure, I am. And I guess you have to be a certain number of years out of believe it seven or eight years out of law school, and they were questioning whether I was actually certified to be a member of the bar. Of course I was. They had all the signatures and I have lobster educations and So it was very strange to be singled out asking me if I was a lawyer too, You know, be there. It was very strange. Do you think it was You look too young to be their hope. I wish it would happen to me again. But I think that ship has sailed, But, yeah. I mean, this is the kind of story that I think of Ruth Bader Ginsberg heard the story. She would not like the fact that you were singled out. You know what I mean? Well, if by Sandra Day O'Connor who I really respect and look up to is the first justice of the Supreme Court, exactly Know who knows what the truth was that no and why she did that. But it was very it makes for a very interesting cocktail party. Story in the news. The cheer star arrested for child porn. Who waved the initial hearing declined to bond hearing. Can you explain why Well, it looks like it looks like there might be numerous victims and maybe more coming down. And generally, the preliminary hearing is something where it's a trial before a trial, and the judge decides that there's not evidence to continue to prosecute you crew. There's going to be that because we have witnesses and we have the documentation and emails and we actually have a confession by Mr Harris himself, the probably that he confessed to some of these crime, so you wave that because you don't want the Dutch hearing all the nitty gritty details. And you don't want that publicity for your client, and it looks like there might be some sort of plea bargain. My guess is that that's what's going to happen that there's going to be a quick resolution of this by a plea bargain because these cases are very bad for the defendant. This is a federal prosecution of child pornography. It's very seriously carries a lot of years at least 15 years, and he's got to serve almost all of that time. So that's what I think is going to be happening, Bob Karen got the attorney of county law. Thanks and we'll talk to you again next week and have a good day. All right, take care. It's five minutes before seven o'clock coming attractions here. We'll open up the mailbox and go through some of your feedback, lots of emails and texts. And if you'd like to get in touch with us, you can do it a couple of ways. Anybody on the morning crew here can be reached. This way. Email Bob Show at W. J in radio dot com Bob Show at W..

SpaceX’s next rocket fairing reuse milestone within reach after latest recovery

"Germany keeps the website behind the black we're going from the surface of the planet earth up a little bit towards the atmosphere not quite earth orbit and they were coming down very quickly in a controlled fashion this is another SpaceX success attached to the launch of the starling it's about something called the Farrington to often over these last weeks we've raced past the idea of recovering fairings and not explaining Bob good evening to you what is a fair F. A. I. R. I. N. G. good evening John well you know SpaceX's goals than to try to reuse as much of its falcon nine rocket is pop they now very successfully reused first stage pretty routinely and nobody pays attention anymore but one of the things they've been also trying to re use it's relatively simple piece of equipment is the shroud that covers their payload during launch protecting it from the atmosphere while that growing up very fast Hey they all the cold it's routed to proper and usually it's made of to cut it to two paths that thank shell that go over the payload and one above the atmosphere rockets they routinely just released this is the the chef Erin because the sooner they can get rid of it less weight they carry which means they can get hired all of it and so they get rid of its like stage getting rid of the stages and routinely for more than half a century we've been told that well you know it's only a piece of metal really it's got some electronics and about which you know which we can't recover its just it's got thrown away and because the lan Moscow SpaceX's novel that's ridiculous we can figure out a way to save this we could save somewhere around ten fifteen percent of the cost of large we can reuse these things until we've talked about this a few times on the show where they've been sent out share book ships with gigantic folding **** unfold and they try to catch the ferry the fairy meanwhile has now been fitted with a parafoil parachute so that is it's coming down at a certain point where it's a high enough and deep enough in the atmosphere the powerful oil comes out parachute comes out it kind of controlled shoot this electronic that you can steer and maneuver thing down very gently and so the ship's try to catch him and they have been relatively unsuccessful in catching them I think they've only court like two out of like twenty they've tried to catch him but the fact is that because of the way this is a controlled re entry and descent on a parachute and the ship is in position on the ship is very close by when it hits the water and because the bearings actionable it's kind of like a political and so the way the parachute is what it comes down it lands like a boat the ground outside edges in the waters of the electronics on the inside don't get touched by the salt water and so they've been able to pick these things up and bring them back and they've actually now we used a bunch of them even though they landed in the water and in this most recent flight both bearings war reviews this is the second use by the way from two different launches so they put two different variants in two different lunch together to do a launch and they were able to recover both neither of which is always able to cash in and that they had taken out of the water and this key is senseless the space except for possibly flying it's the third time this once again means that with the first stage of the parents are covered they were cover seventy percent of the falcon nine rocket it means and I should point out that's the only mission that launched over the weekend includes to set two satellites from another customer overrule with the reviews and with the payments they probably got from the customer SpaceX probable is able to launch those starlink satellites at practically no cost to the company that show how smart this is

"This is this is Bob. Good morning, Bob. Okay. Hope you with. Morning. Are you doing wonderful day? What kind of hope you with the day? All about your three weeks ago. Brad. Brad MAC yard. Like a hundred square feet of grass. And. I'm Tom wrote here. You at. About the time where we're getting all that rain. Yeah. Today's wider day for about three or four days. Devote rain. They're expecting all that race of four weeks, week rated rain. But basically, it hasn't come out. I mean Louis come out drink. Green? Why would you like you're talking to do? I don't know if I got a bad batch of brash. Well, fresh cut sod, that's only been down, what less than a month now. The down about two hundred you know, you're asking a lot for to act like it's just throw it down. Boom, it's going to be just like a turf. That's been well established you need to check and see if the pieces are still something that you can pull up. Are they starting to attach themselves to the ground yet? Well that's something about two weeks ago is gonna lose. Then one thing you can do is, you can consider applying the seaweed solution, which helps promote the root growth. And didn't you say that it was a zoysia type grass or was that Bermuda? Okay. So no, I don't know about that. I don't know to me. I got. No, my. Could tell me something different, but it'd be something to fill in money me, whether or not I was here for. Well, the, the way they cut it, you have to remember, if that grass were growing in the ground before they cut it, it would have four or five inch deep roots or more. And now they cut it so that they're only an inch deep, so you're not going to see a lot of leaf growth intil those roots, get back into the soil and get to that link. So the seaweed helps promote the root growth, it's an easy way to apply. You could do it normally once a month would be fine if you wanted to help it out a little more you could do it every two weeks and apply. Some seaweed to get it to put on some root growth, and then make sure that you're getting the side wet. So those routes have water available to them. Whatever frequency that requires to keep that peace Assad to have moisture in those roads, they will finally said, but it's not like you're transplanting a flower. Because when you do a transplant little four inch transplant all the roots are there that Saad has had all the routes cut off of it, and it has to reestablish them before it's going to actually show, you lots of growth. Okay. Well. Try, but I'm really don't thank them out beyond. Well, you can see. But that's the first thing that you want to see you want to see that when you pull on it, it's getting a firmer and firmer grip into the soil. It gets harder and harder to pull it up. Because that means the roots are getting long enough and that will start producing the growth. Got stuck in pretty good, but it it's not at turning green at all. I'm just thinking. Question. What if I throw some see on top of that, if I was saying next couple of weeks with at work? Is yo have to keep the seed moist because you'll be putting down fresh the during the hottest time of the year. So it's going to require a little extra water to get the seed start. But you would not hurt anything doing that. Okay. I'll give it a try around kind of given up on it. But I'll try and see what happens. Yes. But then see we should help promote those routes to sink into the ground. Once it gets its roots back. It'll start putting on growth. Yes, sir. Let's go to this is where the magic button here. This is Robert, good morning, Robert. What can I help you with? Hey Jeff, I've been hearing all these calls today in previous shows about. Those kind of questioning their plans have the range and hold freeze. It went in March just give a quick testimonial. We gardening tree. We had a twenty four degree degrees, towards the end of March before they're here, we had around two hundred small things on the tree. Well, obviously, I wasn't able to cover it anything, but I did sit a fan system around the keeping when circulating a loss. All but one on that tree, only stayed green and luscious about three weeks ago. Look out there and I've got about two hundred maybe turn on fifty things on there right now. Just don't give up. Yeah. I didn't go to the trouble you did. But I did. I got that I that brave book crop a fig started to form and lost them all to the freeze. And now I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with all the figs that are coming now because they have recovered. Yeah. Just you don't give up. No. They should be treated in new, they'll come through for you. Yeah. Figs do really well here too. But you're absolutely correct. It may have lost a few but they have plenty of time to come back again. Appreciate your time. Thank you, sir. Thank you. Let's see here time is it? Let's go to this is Brad. Good morning. Brad. What can I help you with? Good morning. We have four biscuits plans potted and we planted them on a few months ago and we planted them with potting soil supposed to hold moisture. We've been getting lots and lots of blooms but the leaves are all laying down, and eventually, turn yellow and following off, most of them are just, and so we're trying to we can't figure out if it's maybe they're too wet getting too much water or with the blue blooming like crazy. The problem with yellow leaves is they are usually not always, but usually a water issue too much too little, but usually water issues. One thing that you can do to try to it depends. What kind of potted what kind of pot are they in? They're pretty big round pots with some tiling on the side. Some, some design tiles. Yeah. Not not black or anything. Yeah. That's the problem because if you have them in a smaller, this is how this is one thing that works really. Well, with a hanging basket, you lifted up, you can tell if it's got water in it, because how heavy it is. That's not going to work for the container. You have. Can you lean? It doesn't have a hole in the bottom of that, you might be able to stick your finger in. Yes. And we have, you know, we have trays water trays underneath them. I usually like to let those drain. I know the idea that people think that it fills with water, and it keeps the plant wet. Well, the plant needs Seok suggestion to so if you water and they fill up, and then you empty at that just let you know that the water should have filled the pot correctly. It's a little hard to tell is very difficult to know as it too much, or too little water. But if you stick your finger in the hole in the bottom, and it is soaking wet and the top is bone dry. It may be that the pot is not draining as much as you think it is. Yeah. All right. Give it a check that way. And at one more day in between your watering cycle that may help to that may get you to the point where it's not over watered. Brad, I appreciate the call. But we're up against a news break here, folks. This is gardening naturally. We're going to take a quick break for the news. Jay news time ten thirty. Good morning. "Talk about that in just a moment. So the woman who beat him Emma botch her. She's a librarian from Chicago. He had seventy four windy. That was the difference. He had seventy four holes host how early had thirty three and yet he was only fifty nine thousand dollars away because of his strategies risk taking strategy of going for those big numbers gambler gambler. We'll explain that just moment. So Emma is a librarian. Well, okay. That's not fair. She reads all day, practically an encyclopedia eight. Yes, she is. She's walking talking encyclopedia but it's so much more than knowledge, like you were saying it's all about strategy to and she understands the strategy. She's probably consummate jeopardy watcher. There was a guy when I worked at channel five. Bob. Good old, Bob. Bob was a walking talking genius. We used to we used to carry jeopardy right after the six o'clock news jeopardy would come on at seven. So we were the lead into jeopardy, and of course, the lead into jeopardy jeopardy a huge show. So made the second half of our program. You know, very, very valuable lot listeners lot of yours should say, Bob was sit around he'd watched jeopardy. He he'd like every get every answer really. Yeah. We'd be able to the break room, you know, having dinner and he every answer he'd have it if you ever go. I think it was actually wheel of fortune jeopardy. So we go out to get our meal. And then we could watch jeopardy's familiar wheel of fortune. And so he tried out for jeopardy. Like I think you're only allowed to try to a limited number times. He tried out any never could make the cut. I don't know what the problem was. I mean Alex trebek's was like exerted Sproul or where did they do it in zellerbach hall? Oh my gosh. It was really fun now. It's a great show. Great concept. Is that a Merv Griffin production? I think that was the idea. I think Merv had wheel of fortune jeopardy. I think that was their idea where they were packaged for the same franchisor Griffin. I don't know now it's Sony, or something like that. But because murph's.

"Your host, Bob. Good morning. Hey, good morning, Paul Corinne, fails joins us this morning. Good to see your smiling face, Karen. Oh, thank you. It's good to start the human being again, your coffee creek, the sub Spencer. The really badger mode right now. But the bucks, losing Bob kind of took my sales, the frustrating, we're texting each other I know started out so good. You know there were up time ago I thought they were gonna win it all to the cake. They're just roll in the now, it's like the can't find the basket and Spencer's. So one of the one of the criticisms that we had we get these texts going this plenty of game left favorite line. At a certain point there isn't. Twenty game. They ran out of game they lost. But you know there's a game tonight and if they win there's over it's not over till the fat lady sings at the saying they say on poker chip chair. That's. So let's talk about real estate. Let's talk first off about your three point nine nine percent commission, Karinna here to fill us in on something brand new the north woods location. Yeah, we've got huge grand opening actually coming up on the north. Woods location party time. What does accurate is going to be June twentieth at our Medford location from twelve pm to seven pm? So it's going to be like working to do this, right. We're gonna do some ribbon cutting to start it off with the mayor of Medford over there or something. Well, yeah, that's the obvious. The attendance officer when I was in high school. So the bears who know him very well. All my notes. Larry. No. So it really excited, we Finally I shouldn't say finally, we decided on a date earlier this week, and Bob and raven and JOL and Gabby and the everyone else has really been working diligently to you don't get this going, and we have a Facebook event going. We're also partnering with the at BC food pantries, so that it's not just all about us and partying up in Medford for our giving back to the community are so we can talk about that. Probably in a little bit or whenever I suppose, but we hope to see everybody there, the public is highly encouraged to come, please stop in meet us, the whole team will be there. And you can ask questions office, we're going to have food beverages, whatever we can think of in that amount of time. I don't wanna give it all away. Ponies early. I heard that somewhat friendly opponent because I really wanna pony at my grand opening. Well, because Kareem. Yeah, I love ponies. I love all animals. I had a pony ride when I was a kid at one of those fares scared to death. I think I'm allergic to something. But we have background Coron. We should just we'll give the date again. But this is the Medford location. Redefined realty has an office in Milwaukee. Bob, when you've been down here for years on this radio show for well over a decade, but you've now opened a location in Medford, Wisconsin. Yeah, you know, it's really exciting. We kind of dumbed ourselves into an opportunity back in January. I guess, well, January when you got back from vacation, it unfolded. Yeah. So we get this opportunity to take over an existing real estate office up there that the owner was moving out of town. So we jumped in and within a couple of days, we had a deal put together, and we've got Joel Langdon, who's one of the agents that was with the original office, which was an exit realty office at the time, and I'll raven Schmidt, who is our newest age up there, along with Korean, and, you know, we've got a team up there that's really doing well, and I think the other real estate agents up there are. You know, they're, they're watching us, we're starting to get some listings and we're getting some buyers, and we're starting to cut in the, the business up there. And I think it's got a lot to do at the four point nine nine percent commission plan that your commission Medford Bob down here. It's three point nine percent. We should mention that. Yes. So down in southeast Wisconsin three point nine nine percent. And you can go as low as three point two five, depending on how the stars lineup in Medford, which covers essentially the top third of the state's, it's four point nine nine percent. But that commission condruct as low as three point nine nine percent as well. And the way that, that works is essentially, if the buyer comes directly to the listing agent, meaning we don't have to pay another agent, a Cobra commission while, then we save some money and pass that savings on to you, as the home seller so close from four point nine nine to three point nine nine. It really works out. Well, I think the marketplace up there is accepting us with open arms. Everybody wants to save money, I think, probably no matter where you live in the world. If you can save. Some money you definitely want to do that. And we're looking forward to really big things up in the north woods. Well, Bob because you and Karen on a holiday weekend. No less it's Memorial Day. You came in here to do a live show. Let's open phone lines. Yeah, for sure. And if you've got any questions about real estate market, the Commission's, the your house, as a seller, or if you're buyer,.

"Gee minutes. Use me seventeen minutes after seven o'clock at KLIF. Well, the Trump administration would be reinstating a controversial policy of separating families at the border. That depends on who you are asking. So let's ask that question to Bob Costantini was live at the White House. So what's the answer the question? Bob. Good morning may have wanted to reinstate that policy of family separations at the border for those who come in enter illegally or get Khalil entry points to claim a Silom. He said yesterday he is not looking at if he put it reinstituting, separating families. But we do know that the very next the president said, I'll tell you something once you don't have it. That's why you see many more people coming like, it's a picnic. Let's go to Disneyland is how the president put it. So he sees. That the family separation policy that he is not for key months last year would be would act as deterrent, especially now with many more families teams coming up from central Mexico trying to get to the United States. But as of now, the president says he's not going to put that policy back in place. It might have been one of the heads with Nielsen's outgoing secretary of homeland security who was supposedly push back on the president thoughts of reinstituting guys. So the president is headed to Texas today. What's he doing here? Where's he going to be? A couple of fundraisers. Houston I than to Houston for an energy and economics announcement, and then also some other fundraiser so most of his time in Texas today.
