"bob chop" Discussed on Radio Free Endor: A "Star Wars" Podcast

"To episode fifty seven of radio free endo spring is around the corner and we all still on lockdown of some sort but at least the kids are back at school and this pandemic is still going but we all win the war and maybe the end is in sight but till then talk a bit about star wars. I'm your host jamie and with me is my son christopher. Are you doing chris. You do okay. I'm doing really well. I feel a bit like one of. I've been snapped back in time for an by an hour. Yeah we've just been recorded gone literally fifty five minutes into the recording and then we sanjiv had a tentacled snake and audio was captured almost side so we have quickly joe back to stop stalled. Podcast again that's right. let's get straight into it now. It's been going on for a couple of months now. The firing of gina carano cartoon in the mandalorian. Now with this this topic. Now i maybe i understood tweets a knew what was going on what she meant with her tweets. She hadn't opinion everybody's insulted opinion. Some some of the people that work for lucasfilm have made it clear their opinions but it seems that their opinion can get a straight pass yet does does not now if you look at Pesco pesco right. If you look at pedrosa petro's tweets they all just this body my eyes and maybe a little bit worse than what jeana chronic pots. And if you also look at so many over tweets from people at work at lucasfilm They totally immi- book a quite racist. You know to the white majority. Maybe yeah 'cause it's you can be racist both ways in this in this day and age. I don't like i don't like the way. Lucasfilm is being run of the moment behind the scenes. The tv wise great got an alcohol problem The the high republic not my cup of tea. It's t to some people. But not mine. I have to say and We'll probably discuss. Some of the new characters are in the higher public. Been a little bit several chris now yukon opinion about what happened to jean. I know sway different to my. But i do appreciate it. Appreciate your opinion on the subject. Go ahead yeah so My opinion is that everybody is open to have that own political view personal view. I'm wowed views but what you should do is when you've been put on a pedestal. Like an actor or actress in an influential position. You shouldn't schaja controversial opinions. I believe as simple as it is that she was fired not for school abuse but the controversial views of the pandemic not simple. My second thing to that. If that i believe it was the last name in the coffin. They'll probably looking they're lined it up on. They wanted it to happen Bob chop chop Ceo of disney said that even though it was controversial the reason they did it was full was a values that are universal. Was the common. That was made Books puzzling. If i had a job install wolves. I probably wouldn't even post on social media. That's taken away from me. I percents. I'm with you on that if i if i worked for Stall wolves i would not be upkeeping well away from it because i know what such a dangerous thing. Twitter is and to be fair. Chris to threes very dangerous. It's p. long twitter. That are out to get people. James gunn it up into james gone even though what he said was years ago and he apologized many many many times in the it was just not good enough for some people and he got fired book since then disney of realized what a mistake they made for the simple reason he wentz warners to make suicide squad the suicide squad and they thought got know we kind of jumped where we should have just took a little bit ties and the and the brought him bag they will conversely opinions from years ago. Not about something prevalent today. Obviously i'm not saying you can view both lights differently. Bulbs what you can always do is counsel your disney plus subscription on stop paying disney money Because of the day they make the final opinion they pay the books. And they'll do whatever they want a stroke. Some of her tweets what she did put down where political hundred percent. And i understood because when you left you left in your rights. And when they the left according to the nazis all day long you understand when she puts on some think that's due to the hallway. Colson stuff la la and out dashiki blah blah blah blah blah. Well yourself pushing the narrative that way for republicans Got a you know. I want to go to the states as a holiday. Wanna live there and got biolab politics absolutely crazy. It's crazy now to me. I looked at carrots up what she is narrow time she could do earn in a bloody earned time. I liked that character in the mandalorian. Now there is now the restore the she should be recast so somebody else playing that carrots. Oh i totally disagree with that note. The galaxy is a big place. Just move on the wake. The way season two ended the mandalorian. Chris you probably they could quite easily just finish the mandalorian right there. Go no further with it. 'cause there's plenty more series is rising no need to recast just put just do make a whole brand new character that were interests than the galaxy's massive this plenty of stuff to say you know when you start having recurring characters come in at makes the galaxy seem very very small alleged expanded you know. And that's that's what interest is mate. I am neva thing as well that you know they cancel culture and it does exist. Lobby will say it does exist for the simple fact is now with dr seuss. Books in still fly. That but cancelled figured. Now it's the funds that loosen out here. I managed to pick one up from savvy. And there's no way i want to open it to put it with my raise. The question when when i get it. There's no way i'm gonna open that now. Is it be worth some money. Because i hate to think there's a warehouse full of characters and the probably going to end up in a landfill or somewhere released the figure the figuring could you ain't gonna put that figure in frontier and it's going to sprout opinions. I say i think it comes as simply down to royal. What's he's if they carried on producing the ficus. She could probably sue disney for lots of money saying paul my contract sad i get ten percent or whatever.

"Oh my God. Oh, this is Dave. Is One of the great joys of my life? The restaurant industry is a is one of the bright spots of America. I just hope that. You can operate it without making the same stupid mistakes that I made. And find a way to do with dignity and respect for everybody and if I have any remorse about the restaurant business or at least doing something especially when to hear from someone just getting into it I cringe because it's a man. You're going to hurt so much. Hurts so much and I don't want anyone to feel that. and. You don't want while you're being hesitant to like. About the body size, you don't want to sugarcoat it for anybody either Oh absolu- not. It's a beautiful thing, but it's It's so hard. And if you can endure it. It will change you and I hope that it changes you for the better. And that's the thing it is. It is really the dumbest thing you could possibly do. One of if not the dumbest thing you could possibly do especially in a world of Kovin and that doesn't mean you're stupid it means that. You're fucking artist. So what I love about that is in the face of all obstacles and. Insurmountable odds. If you are still willing to lay it all out there. To say something to do something to make it different like make sure you're not imitating anybody because that's suicide. Do something like no one's ever done before. Make sure you have something to say and that to me is what's beautiful about it that is the balance. Wait you're telling me is the dumbest thing in the world and it's impossible. And if you still attack with. I don't WanNa see your light depends on it, but you tack it with such ferocity that you start to change the perspectives of not just yourself but the people that work there and the people that dine there. Then, you just changed the game, and if you can do that, that's the fucking addiction and that is the beauty that is the beauty in the face of complete an utter terror and horror that you can do. My only thing is I used to approach it like life and death, and I burned a lot of bridges and I heard a lot of people along the way. Friends family and coworkers because it was such tunnel vision on now at a point. Now I talk about in the book a lot that success isn't success to me. Anymore my definition of success has changed dramatically and I think it's about being present and being present means realizing that I'm not supposed to get to where I'm supposed to get to. If I'm actively doing what I'm supposed to be doing. It means that I'm probably never going to get there. And I'm okay with that I'm getting more and more. Okay with that whereas before it was I got to pay sales tax I gotta do this I gotTa. Make enough money to get a new oven. I gotTa Rehire this everything is like a fucking pit of despair. So if I could go back in time, I would try to be present and try to realize that if it all ends it all ends and I'm telling myself that now because most people who knows what's going to happen it's not looking great not looking great for a lot of people. And to realize again, sort of like what we were talking about the bug of against like if you're gonNA do with dignity, don't try to hurt anybody along the way and realize that. It's not the end of the world. And if you have the floor covered in gopher fucking broke, what are you waiting for that to me is the optimism is like it's so beautiful to be like, fuck? Yeah, man let's go. All right producer Isaac tell me where to go. Should we go to a home cooking question or a or stick on the more serious tip? Let's go home cooking I. Think we've been serious this whole time. Producer Isaac says, let's go home cooking. This comes from our tunes page, and again if you give us five stars on itunes. And leave a comment with the question we will prioritize. Your question even though it doesn't seem like we're prioritizing it this one is from. I don't know some random username all call this person. Sinai. Help a lawsuit and save money. Can you help me answer a spending question does a home cook really need a food processor if they have already shelled out for a fancy vitamix No I don't think food process necessary. I. Don't. I think a blender I'll take a food processor. Perfect blender is is more needed. nutribullet. Please sponsored the Dave Chang show. Okay a another food related questions I think might be interesting for you, Ching. From Mauricio this I live in the capital of Chile and we have this neighborhood called patron auto. It also goes by quote Korea town there's Korean barbecue, Korean grocery shops, meat shops, pro shops, pastry shops, restaurants, different churches you name it all Korean and owned by Korean immigrant families. It is by far my favorite place to go check restaurants and other food shops in the city. But hearing Dave talk about some of the dishes he grew up with I notice that the. Here don't really offer those in their menus and stick to the classics be Bob Chop Jay can she will Gogi therefore my question is? Do you think it's okay for me not Asian or Korean to ask the rush to specially make some of the quote uglier dishes for me and my family to try and do you suggest any dishes in particular? What's he asking? He's saying what you talk about like South America like the the Korean populations there the food and the menus is it's very particular. No, he's saying like the ones in Koreatown just like even Bob Oh Generic generic. Wondering. If it's okay to walk in and be like, hey, I heard Dave Chang talk about no, it's not okay. Don't do that. Never mentioned my name ever did. I mean listen you can't force this shit as much as I want to. This is this is the natural flow and this is literally evolution. What happens when you go back in time in the marvel movies or back to the future and you change the fucking best you fuck up shit so don't do it. The analog is fucking Shit in vendors endgame. Let's don't don't do that Shit just if you're GONNA do it do it yourself don't tell anyone else what the fuck and do even though I've done it my entire life. And not every Korean Cook. Knows how to cook every dish well or at all but they do know Kung Fu, right? Yes. We all know. We all know the Chinese Martial Art Kung Fu. Yes. Man. Yeah there is that funny thing though of. Eight the myth of like the Secret Menu, right? Like it's real in Chinese restaurants for sure. It's real that like you're just getting the dishes that they think you want but I also agree with you guys that. Don't ask anybody to do something they're not doing. I also want to comment before we move on that Chris. Your Korean accent is actually quite good for somebody who's not here in your your. Fish is probably better than Dave. No no no. What do you try to do just fucking fired over here I don't worry. Hugo's Korean is so much better mind. Like I was like I was like look like I was putting on his socks today and he just goes through and Paul I was like what the fuck are you saying Paul I was like. I was like feet. I was like you don't know Hugo feet and then I was like, Oh my God. My son is smarter than me. She saying Powell, he's feeding career another another fee. What are you? By the way, it's pronounced. But it's not it's not. Using Paul he was saying part like a baby. asshole okay. Eighteen entirely. Correct. Him saying just saying in English louder and slower. If he gets it. I would never even think I was like Oh. This kid is thinking Korean not an English and I'm like, Oh, my God. That's the craziest thing though Chang. Win when they start to like you've talked about this before. But as soon as the kids start absorbing and reaching stuff that like you didn't teach them or like you don't know where it came from, you're Oh fuck your human he doesn't say anything English.

"Streaming service, which you already have to pay about six dollars ninety, nine a month. But of course, there will be an added a fee to the film a very premium of fear. Would say I think it cost about twenty nine, point nine, hundred, ninety, nine dollars to watch. Milan. So it's almost more or less while we would pay if you go to the cinema to watch it but again it, it's a very hybrid decision as well because not all countries have Disney plus so there will be a cinema release in certain markets. So again, it's very unusual because Disney's About, the release I usually the same release worldwide in one day and again is difficult to see the reactions of cinemas because of Finger Disney CEO Bob Chop is being very much saying this would be a one off I mean the film was supposed to be released late March So you know So he says this is a very unusual times and we'll learn is ready. So I think why not let's let's try it out and see if it's Going to be profitable for us as well. So you think it's a wise move from them. People saying it's a little bit rescue mean a people gonNA pay thirty dollars to watch a film at home. When you've got others films net flex called Amazon prime what do you think they can be confident about the in Disney plus doing very well it's a fairly new service already have like sixty million plus subscribers around the world, any eighty s a powerful brand and. If it's wiser not I don't know. But I think they should have done that because the situation is not as clear about the reopening of cinemas in US and they're losing money in other sectors of the company I've wretched as well. Did they lost three point five billion dollars in the parks already so they said you know what we should do this of Milan have this massive film radio there's a lot of interest from as well. I, think it's a good. Film, you know trust that people will pay for that is not a canoe proposition is not a new kind of people know Moulin fairly well, and I think is one of the most beloved more recent kind of Disney cartoons. So again, it's all a bit of a trial here I wonder if other players in the market might follow suit for the foreseeable future how much impacts do you think that the pandemic will have on cinema because over C-? This decision was Due to Covid nineteen hundred house that reshaping things. Oh, it's shaping law I. Mean there's an other again, quite surprising decision between AMC theaters in the US and universe. So basically universal said, we can release filming the cinemas in the future, but then it can be available in streaming only after seventeen days it's a very short kind of window because in the past you have to expect quite a few months you know for the film to be available and again I think we're going to hear more and more about this. Of course, the cinema chains they are a bit worried as. Well I mean will there be a future for us and I can say I'm not such a pessimist page you know why? Because when a films released in cinema they came incredibly profitable especially if it's a blockbuster if you look films like avengers or Jurassic World, they can you can make almost two billion dollars in the box of this a big number and I'm not sure if they will get the same number of streaming. So you know don't consider Cinema Edad just yet I won't and I think like many of us the the experience of going to the cinema and being this. I think tops being on my sofa anyway. So finally, Fay, will you be watching Mulan? What do you think I remember watching the original as a kid and absolutely loving it oh, I mean again is one of my favorites as well and I'm curious actually because a live action, there'd be a few changes here and there will be less. I know in the cartoon, there was some songs fingers won't be quite a serious one almost like Crouching Tiger Hidden, dragon type of film. So very much and you know it's my job I need to watch. Very Diplomatic Aspen under Augusta. Fisher thank you for talking to us. Thanks to both say and page Reynolds as well. That was Monaco's finance. August appreciate talking about the release on demand of Disney's Mulan and that's all we have time for today's program many. Thanks to our produces page reynolds, collateral Bella, and Daniel H. R. "Size of the stadium according to NASA their asteroid watch the largest of the five is about eleven hundred feet wide roughly the size of the stadium it's expected to be the nearest to the earth on June sixth they say it doesn't pose a threat well I believe that but then again I've been told that antiphon doesn't pose a threat to America either so we'll see anybody out there praying to be hit by an asteroid I mean if it was just all of a sudden we're like all my gosh the sky is getting pretty dark wow that looks really both men were all dead wouldn't really I mean it wouldn't be such a bad option what is maybe it's just me there's a couple of other things that I just I just wanna point out before we go back to John in North Carolina breathing is sacred this is what to the protesters are saying now in Italy why are the orange vests pro testing what's happening in America in Italy I'm seems as though protests and riots are breaking out all over the world now which is strange because we're told this is just about racism in America even though they're all saying this is about putting an end to the democratic society of America and capitalism maybe maybe the people in Italy wouldn't care so much about what happened in Minneapolis because they probably don't even know that Minneapolis is the state but maybe they would care about an end to capitalism hi thank you to take their time over in Italy protesting it's kind of weird isn't it all right let me go back to John in North Carolina hello John you're on yes Sir I just wanted to let people be aware the was known only in Hillsboro North Carolina the nursing homes YH grandpa needs being given a couple weeks so will nothing covert related he's got cancer and a couple other things well if you just hold but the nursing home they all for my wife's mom on a thousand dollars if she would allow them to put cove is on his desk difficult when he passes away don't let her know that the nursing home get thirteen thousand dollars per Tobin related data you've been tested and and come back negative every time he's been tested for her of it and you're not going to allow that to happen right no Sir is anybody in your area covering this in in the local news not that I'm aware of this happened yesterday and my mother in law she says she's going to reach out to a couple people and see if there's something that she's able to do about it well I I sure think John that you need to bring this to a local news station after you've gone the rounds and try to get somebody locally to cover it if they don't call us back and we will cover that this is happening all across America what's happening in our nursing homes is absolutely despicable I mean it is I hate to say it but it is almost a cleansing of our nursing homes the way this is being done when it comes to our nursing homes being held responsible in New York after a very large donation to of the governor New York he signed in a new law that would keep them from not being responsible for anything that was happening as he just made those death mills is anybody going to cover that we have to keep record of what's going on please please keep a journal because these times are so important and history will write about these times and depending on who wins if we don't win this story is never going to be told you need to keep a journal Mike in Colorado hi hi Graham thank you for taking my call I I just wanted to say that I believe everything that's happening is real cold it's real the violence but it's all definitely being exploited I believe yes all really really to get trong L. what you're saying to change America but I also I but I want to try to get a little bit of hope I think the average person when they step back and look at the whole situation especially with colder I think they're going to start putting two and two together on the right I think because of that I think that the people that hate trump you're not changing their mind the people that love trumps you're not changing their mind I think the two to three percent that released waiting at a lecture I think those people are gonna see what's actually happening because of that and I really do think that trump's gonna get reelected Bob chop about I think the Democrats are really gonna suffer a political loss in November I I hope so I hope so Mike I hope so but a lot can happen in between now and then but I do hope so I don't think that we survive unless there is a reset of justice I just don't think we survive Brandon Virginia welcome Oakland I'm just wondering if no one's talking about this but to what extent do you think the great society in LBJ have had in shaping the kind of climate that we now see with black lives matter I I think a huge role violative out of left field kind of thinking good for you I think huge role I I you know I've I've always been interested in looking into this and I've never had the time to do it but someday before I die I will I want to research and and write a book if it turns out to be true that the L. B. J. and all of the progressive racists of the day knew exactly what they were writing and what they were doing when they formed the great society you can't take a guy who is as racist as Johnson and then make him into the guy who is is holding up the black communities and saying you know we we've got to change and we're going to be the babysitter and we're going to help and we're going to rebuild and then have the kind of results that it is had and not at least question was that by design what was that really just a mistake or was that by design because it was the turning point in the black community was great society and I think LBJ was chapter three in what I think is a five chapter book on progressive revolution the progressives knew that Americans didn't want a bloody revolution they would just have to slowly be taken into it and so the first chapter was with the most racist president we've ever had and that's saying something I mean I put Andrew Jackson in that in that league but the first chapter was Woodrow Wilson the second was FDR the third was L. B. J. the fourth was Obama and I think the fifth chapter of this book may be being written right now and it is the final chapter I believe we don't know what the ending is but I think of those it's interesting to me that each of those administrations also had a profound effect on the university system and I think the university Edie you is more responsible than any other group in the destruction of our of our country based on how they change things with Woodrow Wilson in the early progressives you we don't really have a chance because our kids are not educated which by the way reminds me mercury one every summer has a a leadership program it's a two week program for your kids or have maybe you'll if you're under twenty four it's eighteen to twenty four and it is a it's a teaching course that we have been teaching people in college sep some teachers have even joined us on this and you get to hold the actual documents and do the research yourself and it really kind of strips you down at the very beginning and challenges everything you believe and then over two week period it rebuilds it but based on original sources we don't select everybody who applies to this is probably the last year that we're going to be doing it this way because hopefully we'll have a new very exciting announcement coming up this summer but if your kids want to be involved and learn true history you want to train yourself to be a leader in these times and the times that will come join us and our mercury one leadership training program you can you can register right now will be interviewing people it not everybody gets a chance to go but we would love to have you or your loved one they're eighteen to twenty four years of age only this year and you can find it at mercury one dot org let me go to Steven Virginia hello Steve yes Steve are you there good to hear you to be honest I just I just I'm sorry I I had a problem I mean I don't just want to say I I'm totally grateful that there is this guy going back to came around into it two thousand and one on September while you came on the radio here in Richmond Virginia and I will take the lead doctor lower but you know I had to burn you know and thank you if you're not a call today because it's been on my heart of there's one big plus because they're not just out it is all right I'm all right did you talk about aha moments I'm celebrating seven years of complete sobriety today and I thank you for that but you said we need to go out and I'm with you brother amen and amen and I read the Bible every day I keep a journal what you just said and I believe that we do need to come back to god but I don't know how we do that with the cat that we get the White House and I'm just concerned please please think about your own divided support for him because the things he says just divides people horribly and I voted Republican every time I ever could until this presidential election this past one in twenty sixteen and I don't know I don't want to do my conscience tells me okay okay the man and I'm just I love you and I don't want you to lose your witness or testimony because it's powerful thank you Steve first of all we remain friends we can talk about very divisive things without being divisive so thank you for your courage to call in thank you for listening all these times and let's have a conversation about this that we do have to come back to god that's not a political thing god is a god is in charge of all of it and it miracles will happen if the people turned back to him and apologize repent and say gosh we've made so many mistakes and we've got to do some soul searching here as a nation and we we will abide by your laws lord we will do what you ask us to do the that's all he's requiring for us and he'll do the rest you know Donald Trump was not my pick in twenty sixteen you warned of these things in twenty sixteen however he has done things that no other president has been able to do I ate it bothers me when people say that you know he's god's hand or something like that I don't think so but I do know this and you do to Steve that god can make lemonade out of nothing but lemons and bad nasty lemons he's done it in my life there was no good in my life twenty five years ago that I was producing light I think and he has taken my life and your life and every other alcoholic and he's turned it around he has this way of making things work I don't know how he works I don't know how he creates I don't know what he's doing I don't know his plan I just know my part and my part is to except to the covenant of god that we are his people and this is his nation these are his rights and they don't belong to us they belong to all mankind and our biggest job is to protect those rights not for ourselves but for others how we get there I don't know I do know that there is true true darkness that is being embraced by the left it is coming from the left and it is embraced by the Democratic Party there are things that really deeply deeply bothered me about Donald Trump but I don't know what else to do and I'm certainly not going to stay away from the polls and I cannot vote for the darkness that is in this particular party I thought we would be in worse shape than we are with Donald Trump I was wrong this is in god's hands.

over in Italy protesting it's kind of weird isn't it all right let me go back to John in North Carolina hello John you're on yes Sir I just wanted to let people be aware the was known only in Hillsboro North Carolina the nursing homes YH grandpa he's being given a couple weeks so will not encoded related he's got cancer and a couple other things but you just the nursing home they offered my wife's mom on a thousand dollars if she would allow them to put cove is on his desk Jeff again when he passes away don't let her know that the nursing home get thirteen thousand dollars per Kobe related death you've been tested and and come back negative every time isn't that is the problem with and you're not going to allow that to happen right no Sir is anybody in your area covering this in in the local news not that I'm aware of this happened yesterday and my mother in law she says she's going to reach out to a couple people and see if there's something that she used I want to know about it well I I sure think John that you need to bring this to a local news station after you've gone the rounds and try to get somebody locally to cover it if they don't call us back and we will cover that this is happening all across America what's happening in our nursing homes is absolutely despicable I mean it is I hate to say it but it is almost a cleansing of our nursing homes the way this has been done when it comes to our nursing homes being held responsible in New York after a very large donation to of the governor New York he signed in a new law that would keep them from not being responsible for anything that was happening as he just made those death males is anybody going to cover that we have to keep record of what's going on please please keep a journal because these times are so important and history will write about these times and depending on who wins if we don't win this story is never going to be told you need to keep a journal Mike in Colorado hi hi Graham thank you for taking my call I I just wanted to say that I believe everything that's happening is real cold it's real the violence but it's all definitely being exploited I believe yes all really really to get trump and what you're saying to change America but I also I I wanna try to get a little bit of hope I think there are the average person when they stepped out in big look at the whole situation especially with cobra I think they're going to start putting two and two together I I think because of that I think that the people that hate trump you're not changing their mind the people that love trumps you're not changing their mind I think the two to three percent that really just waiting in a white shirt I think those people are gonna see what's actually happening because of that I really do think that trump's gonna get reelected Bob chop about I think the Democrats will really give us up for a political loss in November I I hope so I hope so Mike I hope so but a lot can happen in between now and then but I do hope so I don't think that we survive unless there is a reset of justice I just don't think we survive Brandon Virginia welcome Oakland I'm just wondering if no one's talking about this but to what extent do you think the great society in LBJ have had in shaping the kind of climate that we now see with black lives matter I I think a huge role violative Alex left field kind of thinking good for you I think huge role I I you know I've I've always been interested in looking into this and I've never had the time to do it but someday before I die I will I want to research and and write a book if it turns out to be true that the LBJ and all of the progressive racists of the day knew exactly what they were writing and what they were doing when they formed the great society you can't take a guy who is as racist as Johnson and then make him into the guy who is is holding up the black communities and saying you know we we've got to change and we're going to be the baby sitter and we're going to help and we're going to rebuild and then have the kind of results that it is had and not at least question was that by design what was really just a mistake or was that by design because it was the turning point in the black community was great society and I think LBJ was chapter three in what I think is a five chapter book on progressive revolution the progressives knew that Americans didn't want a bloody revolution they would just have to slowly be taken into it and so the first chapter was with the most racist president we've ever had and that's saying something I mean I put Andrew Jackson in that in that league but the first chapter was Woodrow Wilson the second was FDR the third was LBJ the fourth was Obama and I think the fifth chapter of this book may be being written right now and it is the final chapter I believe we don't know what the ending is but I think of those it's interesting to me that each of those administrations also had a profound effect on the university system and I think the university Edie you is more responsible than any other group in the destruction of our of our country based on how they change things with Woodrow Wilson in the early progressives you we don't really have a chance because our kids are not educated which by the way reminds me mercury one every summer has a a leadership program it's a two week program for your kids or hit maybe you'll if you're under twenty four it's eighteen to twenty four and it is a it's a teaching course that we have been teaching people in college so some teachers have even joined us on this and you get to hold the actual documents and do the research yourself and it really kind of strips you down at the very beginning and challenges everything you believe and then over two week period it rebuilds it but based on original sources we don't select everybody who applies to this is probably the last year that we're going to be doing it this way because hopefully we'll have a they're very exciting announcement coming up this summer but if your kids want to be involved and learn true history you want to train yourself to be a leader in these times and the times that will come join us and our mercury one leadership training program you can you can register right now will be interviewing people it not everybody gets a chance to go but we would love to have you or your loved one there eighteen to twenty four years of age only this year and you can find it at mercury one dot org let me go to Steven Virginia hello Steve yes Steve are you there good to hear you play to be honest I did I did I'm sorry I I had a problem and I just want to say I am naturally grateful that there is this guy going back that came around into it two thousand and one one September while you came on the radio here in Richmond Virginia and I will take the lead doctor lord but you know what I had to burn you know thank you if you're not a call today because it's been on my heart of there's a lot coming not just out it is all right I'm all right did you talk about a ha moment I'm celebrating seven years of complete sobriety today and I thank you for that but you said we need to go out and I'm with you brother amen and amen and I read the Bible every day I keep a journal what you just said and I believe that we do need to come back to god but I don't know how we do that with the cat that we get the White House and I'm just concerned please please think about your own divided support for him because the things he says just divides people warmly and I voted Republican every time I ever could until this presidential election this past one in twenty sixteen and I don't know I don't want to do my conscience tells me okay okay the man and I'm just I love you and I don't want you to lose your witness your testimony because it's powerful thank you Steve first of all we remain friends we can talk about very divisive things without being divisive so thank you for your courage to call in thank you for listening all these times and let's have a conversation about this that we do have to come back to god that's not a political thing god is a god is in charge of all of it and it miracles will happen if the people turned back to him and apologize repent and say gosh we've made so many mistakes and we've got to do some soul searching here as a nation and we we will abide by your laws lord we will do what you ask us to do that's all he's requiring for us and he'll do the rest you know Donald Trump was not might pick in twenty sixteen you warned of these things in twenty sixteen however he has done things that no other president has been able to do I eat I eat it bothers me when people say that you know he's god's hand or something like that I don't think so but I do know this and you do to Steve that god can make lemonade out of nothing but lemons and bad nasty lemons he's done it in my life there was no good in my life twenty five years ago then I was producing light I think and he has taken my life and your life and every other alcoholic and he's turned it around he has this way of making things work I don't know how he works I don't know how he creates I don't know what he's doing I don't know his plan I just know my part and my part is to except to the covenant of god that we are his people and this is his nation these are his rights and they don't belong to us they belong to all mankind and our biggest job is to protect those rights not for ourselves but for others how we get there I don't know I do know that there is true true darkness that is being embraced by the left it is coming from the left and it is embraced by the Democratic Party there are things that really deeply deeply bothered me about Donald Trump but I don't know what else to do and I'm certainly not going to stay away from the polls and I cannot vote for the darkness that is in this particular party.

"bob chop" Discussed on No Jumper

"W we're early. Actually let's go. I wonder if it's the best time now to get an jumper interview. 'cause Adams down for anything interviews the ME. The methods demand is coming soon. No that's real like I totally feel like my my standard for interviewing la. Because realistically I can only envy people who are in La. Besides well actually. We just did a fire from England where we just give traveler off so it was incredible. We'd have a really good conversation is he doing. La La not zoom flew in the Ginny as a traveler. Us sitting in quarantine just researching drake for two weeks while waiting to do as he flies right back to England weights another two weeks in quarantine and then boom is back to his normal life of sitting department. Boom Boom Lissette zoom interview thing. Have you done more of those? I haven't watched any of your sorry. No no no we. We did facetime calls for all of our ones that we did previously. And then this new one it was a Was Zoom Call Them? The in house phone did we went really online. That was great. Are you more of those Perhaps yeah actually. I'm supposed to be doing one with a very star-studded person at some point in the future. I'm pretty excited about star-studded he's famous. So kind of a neat thing. That's trying to say when it's a star studded with you. Let's talk about your hair. Stop trying to change the subject. Your hair is short now. The school look Bob Bob and I. Bob Chopped off. I wasn't feeling the like purple stranglings really. I wasn't feeling it's not what I was trying to do with. My hair originally chop it off or if they could lose curry Elliott school shorthairs back bracelet to flexing right. Now I don't I don't feel kind of uncomfortable with you to compliments but thank you Trying to you less more him. You guys can keep talking. I'm going to put this on the social media because proud of you. You're going to wear the beard one for you ready for this today. Me and House at seven eleven guy starts talking to him totally unrelated to his race but so is talking shit to him for not wearing a mask. So yeah so we're race the personalist white devil like you lane but he was like you know close to Adams as like sixty something like he was ancient status. Yeah decrepit falling apart right now doing the show number thirty nine candles in Michigan new haircut year. He's over there on the boards. He's smoking guys again us. Please join us. This is going to be the biggest one ever according to my info graphic way. Everybody did that going up from here. The graphic show is on you to know. Does she meant fundamentally? It's a youtube channel. I thought they actually made that. I was going to say dam that created by and he put his info. Graphic is not a name somebody made us to tell us all about our podcast infographics. But there's a youtube channel called the infographics show and I thought that they made it. Obviously they break down shit with cool infographics right. That's really what brand no fucking like top ten serial killers child serial killers like just like murder. Mysteries remain are so specific with your current channel. Can't be that kind of all over the place. I should do a more specific like I tried to do the Asian route forbidden. I'm like you know what I can't do. Asian stuff where you doing like I want to integrate Asian music with American music. So I had like my friend. American rapper over here a little house phone review and react to Asian rappers one man. Ada Rising One woman one man man like the Constitution or whatever. I suppose now I mean. I wasn't trying to go after like I'm going to be bigger than eighty eight rising. I'll get big. Just start talking that everything is just finding being to me before was yeah you should just just be a complete bitch. I'm like what does hate everybody. Us like just being negative controversial around telling you if you want to be successful on social media you need to basically doubled down on your personality like whatever. Your slight inclination is all the way in that direction. Like for me. I listen to like Tucson cloud wrappers boom like all in on it. Let's go not really feel like eight. Who Only speak Korean on. Like all address suber coli do the easiest way to blow up is to do something. That's like offensive but not so offensive that your whole career is over after fine line you need to be. You should be the person who makes k pop videos where you talk about things that nobody else will talk about the real but dark side of Cape. Never let you back in the country. Hey hold genre on that already John around the world. No Yeah you're right. I don't know anything about it but I can. I say this. Is that the Antonio Youtube Channel which was dead for a few months as in. I actually didn't impose post anything. So it's understandable that it was dead I know but I'm back. I made a video about Alexis. Only fans viral like eight hundred thousand views. You saw it. I saw the video and say you. You're logging we peep. Probably I'll probably get kicked off the platform and safari video. Never come out now. That'd be right under wraps okay. Make sure it's private about safari. We're not allowed to talk about or anything. I didn't want you to give out my only fans password by the fuck when I knew that thought it was like a real only thought like you had other people thought he had other people following on there. I was like no I want to log into the. I only follow a LEX and safari. I didn't want to see like your Dick like I didn't want to log C my Lennon's Year. I didn't know if it was like some shit. I I don't WanNa see this last. Saw a guy told me that he has the God mode log in for only fan so we can see every girls content. Is there a gun industry? It's not like a scam? Anything God mode. Wasn't there a huge league anyways with everyone's shit allegedly but I think it's not that it's like a leak like when people here only fans leak. They think that somebody broke into the fuck and only leaked everything in reality. It's just great guys who make collections out of all the girls. Shit and then they just creep downloaded us kind of weird. But it's not like all of a sudden you just magically got access to every single thing on it But I mean have you ever heard of dudes like re. Have you ever heard of guys re reselling girls pictures that they like? Some of them are just like yeah. Basically doing doing what this guy did. But selling them all. I haven't heard of them selling it. I've owned US I. I haven't heard of dudes reselling them but I've just seen dude sorta giving them out but that's very bad. Should we talk about that and Italy? Chop came out against only fans. Girls inside porn is free. I just want to say you know I get what he's saying. I get how it's a temptation by the way. Can we please no phones checking to see if we go distract last time a little bit too much phone ary? This is really well because you were Ketamine. Trip is really high. Like I hadn't smoked our holiday. And we we smoked. I think either during the podcast right before we've been smoking all day. We did the traveler US and then we did. Bravo the bag chaser. Asteroids came right he did I like he was cool though. He had a Gucci Mask on Cool Gucci Man. Go BACK TO ALEX ALEX. So the most. What else do you think about my video? Let's talk about you or whatever you want. Say what I going reviewing her her her only bird dog. I going on only fans like really. You're so surprised. Why the fuck on cost before of course? Oh that was my first time coffin. Okay not not like premium content. Like shoot she be doing more like it'll work fifty dollars a month. Most girls narrow doing a lot of a lot more porn street up like fucking Shit into a cup and then no But okay like let's just put in perspective like I showed on a Alexis only fans and Lennon's perspective on it was like she was like honestly like I would be worried about you reviewing another girls only fans just because I don't want people to be like Oh why. Why are you criticizing. This girl is only fans when your girlfriends. Only man's isn't that good but Lenin puts shitload of time and effort into her fucking only. She's filming like real deal like porn scenes. She's filming like the stuff that we do is really lit like like well like everything like that. I mean it was just. Her Shit is updated pretty consistently. She has a lot of content on it. And it's five dollars a month and then you just pay for like some of the premium content from there and that. It's so then when you when you start having conversations. It's very much like you start to get an idea over time like some people charging five bucks some people during the twenty bucks on people trying to fifty bucks but if you're charging fifty you're not really coming with it then you know that's GonNa get aired out eventually playing to play devil's advocate. What's your beef with her? She tries she's I didn't say anything about her. I gave an honest. She says she was going to pull up with her n words and beat me up and make a video from the nausea thought about it but it's it's not. I can't chase the clout that when she when she beat you up. Oh yes her blood's rundown on me telling you that'll be cool like I'm definitely down to fucking scrap with her on that on that scrap with her fair one. Our respective. I want a mental image. Boxing play speaking of only fans. They just go down the list of all the people that are coming out of nowhere else. Yeah but should we keep digging in on the fucking thing because I do want to address that? She did say that she was going to fuck and come through with her gang. And beat my. I don't get it personally because to me. I didn't say anything offensive. All I did was sound like defend themselves. I did actually insults her. I didn't say anything negative about is bitch done like you were talking to your regular you were being know. I was making fun of the fact that she's out like a fucking retarded interviews. I Made Fun of her. Small is interview. I'm sorry but it was Super Fun but I put couple of clips in just because I thought it was funny. Like let's fucking show. How bad her interviews are? I like made some jokes about like she was on the robot. Hasn't she didn't talk the entire time? I'm sorry this fact. And then when I said that she hurt only fans like fifty bucks content. It's like a big fucking deal. That's just reality. Sorry my video went viral. She probably made so much money off of me promoting only like that. Because as much as I was saying that it wasn't worth the fifty bucks I guarantee that you got like hundreds of sign ups. That was just trying to see what it was all about them. They probably got an awfully. That was that was good to me. Stayed up late last night researching safari and I was up until two thirty in the morning watching safari clips on Youtube because I got his only fence now. Jacking off he doesn't Jack Off. Night isn't show is different. Well you're GONNA have to tune into the video of find out but no you don't actually see that one time in the shower. He dropped his phone or something and see down here putting the process of reviewing safari and I very much enjoying this process of sort of like digging in and just learning a lot about a topic pause. Not Digging in like that. We get into far as crack now. I'm just enjoying the process of like really digging in on topic and learning everything and just making the video about it and so that's why I was kind of cool time travellers..

"bob chop" Discussed on The All New Dennis Miller Option

"This is the tennis Miller option your source of opinion stories and laughs from comedian inactive is Dennis Miller is Guy Friday Christian Black Penn superstar producer Lindsay flown on today's show actress Ileana Douglas and now it's Dennis Miller Latham most is the most informed most charming I met her at the festival over the last couple of years and we've grown to be buds she's a great dame and the this is my friend Ileana Douglas and I'm trying to check for the show here it's called Goliath I'm not by the way or twitter is Iliana Rama I was that early out of loser but it's I l. l. e. a. n. a. r. a. or website is Iliana bliss dot com and the show that she's on is called glass season three Goliath is now streaming on Amazon prime and I'm just going to be candidate Liana clocked Goliath yet one explain it to me in the listeners okay well Goliath is show that you know it's it's one of the ten thousand shows available online at all of us are trying to watch and keep up with but this one starts Billy Bob Soaring amazing this is the third season there's two previous seasons that are available Friday all of the new episodes of this season will drop as they say and every year he fights a goliaths the first year was you know the medical stablishment medical malpractice last year it was drug cartels and this year very timely it's going to have to do with California in ja the water drought waterboard in Central Valley and his Goliath is going to be Dennis Quaid and amy in a minute evil brother and sister who run a an almond farm and other stealing water from the federal government so that's the overall oh well of the of the captive whoever's I always feel like writing about water rights intricacies of all that in California has been done perfectly by Bob down that is still the most amazing modern screenplay I've ever seen China too so unless whoever took this test God who did you dig the words Oh my God I did I did well you know it's many writers the the show runner trilling who also it's you know many writers originally show the first show runner someone you know David Kelly so that it's establish and you know great doing great law series of course he's got rainman stuff you know he's like a savant sort of Yeah with this last year show I mean I loved it went as shows off and do it went in completely you know they it was very surreal listrik this year they bring it a lot of native American influence the actor Graham Greene from dancing with wolves is in is in the show so Indian casinos play a part that's that's where I come in I play sort of Drunken Keno player that becomes billy's sidekick I'd push my way in there and I think I was in an Improv troupe called Keno player Inca Harvey limbic son ran dot and Santa Monica if I'm not mistaken I think it idea which we're all talking about this you know the drought in and the now it's it's not just stealing water it's the effects on climate climate change and that'll all be revealed to someone's gas associated with that so I it's really great and a lot of wonderful symbolism in it this year which I really liked I've always admired Billy Bob's chops on work with him as the killer because you guys must come together as a great I just I mean I can't explain it's you know he sets a tone I mean first of all saying this the other day for me I'm always one of these inside outside people like I'm in the show but also outside being such a movie Fan you know watching you know when when I'm in a scene with Dennis Quaid and Billy About Thorn All I can think of is all they're great movies and you know that they've done theater and Billy Bob of course one of my favorite performances is the man who wasn't there from the Cohen brothers I mean of course bad Santa and all that but yeah he brings such a such weight too the show and it's working with him it's like when you work with Deniro you just want to be your best and he's very generous as an actor and brain right Ileana big brain I met him once for a few seconds and I remember he told me that his phobic fear was antiques that I said now that is an intricate brain grand you know most people at spiders arachnids is snakes listen I said I read that seeks creep unity says they do antiques I said brother that is such a poker tell about you that that is an intricate mind there that's funny why bonded about music and country music you know each season Musicians the singer as is Dennis Quaid and so I you know I'm just such a fan of you know a that was our first sort of bonding but you know for me again being in the show as always it's dual opportunity of working in the show and acting with Billy Bob ever three time there's a cut I will ask him about commuting and get a great show Biz story out of you know am or who also Michelle well they're street crackerjack actors there were talking to my friend Ileana Douglas and Her twitter again is Iliana I l. e. a. n. what a beautiful name your parents gave you Ileana Ramla I should say the website is Ileana Douglas Dot com on screen back and forget that I get a call or ten years invariably when I'm on the Air Talk Tennyson Show business calling you should cease to sing goal season three of Goliath is now streaming on Amazon prime that's show we're just talking about called Elliott does she was tells me it's going to be a good thing one of the experts speaking about movies on I think it's a CNN project or something called movies and I called her I said Hey if they need anybody else in my name and then like a couple days later I saw that it takes a sweat actor turning into the Sammy Glick from what the Bud Solberg novel what Makes Saving Grace Red light so I sent her another email I'm sorry that was sweaty and she writes back says hey we're in show bizz so I do admire you that you always understand that there's magic too and then there is the Biz to it right right yeah that's the only one the only sort of Showbiz Faux Pas for me is this is a folk pop for me when somebody's when you're at a party and what he does you're talking to someone important right you're talking to Barry Levinson say and a person comes up you Haley on how's it going they kind of lb Barry I'm such a fan of years and they do the one two punch of pretending like they're interested in you only two subvert the conversation and talk about their latest thing like that I don't like that that if we were in the hardware business quite frankly uh-huh That's just across the board route there but you have seen certain people mad when they see a cat who's like the the alpha dog in the room and you don't want get trapped in that be line because you can end up in a neck brace they come so hard I know that's always that's always a challenge you know you see people and then when you see people so you admire do you go up to them do you have any regrets of I always go up to them even if it's somebody I admire so much I don't go up to but if you don't then you regret it but my regrets thing there are some people I respect so much I should go over and I go that's more for you than for them they're mad out I don't do it a lot I I'm just saying I had there have been certain people where I thought it just don't bug them and then I go home I wish I had said something but that that's on me on them they're the ones yeah I saw John Frankenheimer Winston the Karma was beautiful I was Gonna I was gonna Chase Frankenheimer down out at that Hotel Asa Dina where they do the up fronts it's John Frankenheimer leave him alone believe in Karma paid me off immediately as I walked by him down the hall here hey dennis I turn John Frankenheimer clocked me and we ended all of my God he dug my hbo show. And can you imagine the the double reward that was for me that I didn't abuse his good offices and yet we ended up talking and boy that was a tough one for me because you know what a genius odd cat is Kamaruddin yeah I mean he's one of my favorite filmmakers Manchurian candidates one of my favorite movies and I got to know him in the later part of his life and I asked him if we could go out to lunch you know I said let's go to lunch and you talk to you which he readily agreed to we went to this Talion restaurants that was up on Pico that's no longer there it's right near Fox but anyway we should down and watch and he goes Outta your we get a lot more out of this lunch than I am so you'll be paying you know what I find on his before the check came if you flip the Red Queen on him he would pick it up he didn't even know what he's doing and start sweating well he's he was so intimidated I was like Jay yes absolutely you know I couldn't believe it you're going to get out of there soon I must be a guy who knows how to stand this turf when you think about the fact that I think in Bert knocked off five or six films together. Can you imagine God had the head with Burt Lancaster with his intimidating physical stature and in fact he was produced Sir to a great one sweet smell success that along with the partner he must've been tired he also has the one of my favorite is show Biz blinds 'cause he did the movie The island of Doctor Marrone with Marlon Brando Rancho was out of his mind on that one yeah and and Val kilmer and at the time he said about Val kilmer you know in terms of working with him he said if I were were asked to do the VAL kilmer story I wouldn't put Val kilmer in the movie yeah very troubled you know set so you know my whole aim in life is you know so Frankenheimer and tells me about that and then you know you while later I had met Brando who then confirmed I said Hey John Frankenheimer said you know this the other and he confirmed things so that's always my way of doing film history you know sometimes like you re things on the Internet you go it's not exactly true sometimes I even hear things and PCM but my grandfather Melvyn Douglas when I go that's actually not exactly true and I wonder where they you know sometimes IMDB entre vertebral truth I always you you feel the ability to go to the source because I love the thought that young girl I think your parents go a little own natural after they see easy rider we've talked about this before and your granddad becomes the Great Melvyn Douglas folks you can go back to go back to the no Chica and then follow it all the way up through being there this cat just clocked the ball for over fifty years it seems to me and he loved his granddaughter and show it showed you the ropes right no wonder you feel relatively calm with legends tell me about Melania I mean he was he was such an amazing presence in my life but also kind of tough you know I I mean just to give me an example you know he'd say well yeah but he wanted to be an actress oh you have to be in the theater I was in rural Connecticut there snows theater around so I but I found this so that's why it was doggedly determined to get into a theater group which I did I got into this youth theatre group is a musical and.

"Whatsoever the advantage was the gap the gap in functioning brain cells between me and most of the people in the room by the time we got to the draft was so goddamn large it was like taking candy from a baby after round six on which we will get to <hes> anyway then so everybody's obliterated right then me and the three guys who have won the league in the past. There's only been four champions in the in the eight eight years. We've existed champions dinner actually one of them. The other guy who's won twice was not in town. He had his his anniversary with his wife. The poor bastard had to face this time in the draft hours three different phones phones kept dying whole room of blackout. Do hate the c. j. jay. I love you brother. I know that was the worst night of your entire life. I am so sorry i was. I i wasn't sober. I was high but i'm sitting there to thinking to myself. My god these men are animals so i can only imagine what that was like for. You happy anniversary yeah j. with the back of the room like bursaries like his wife's in the other room like asleep like i can't believe this fucking guy. He's in drafting with like headphones on every time. I walked past the phone and looked down to see what he was doing. He had like his hand on his forehead like just like in dismay absolutely miserable. That's the kind of commitment that it takes to be in our league though <hes> so the guy wasn't there so we have our championship. Dinner are champions dinner at bob's chop house. I don't know if y'all chop house but it's basically a bad ass steakhouse and dad's delicious and our league commissioner who is a hilarious person named dan he then booked out of spite a dinner for the rest of the league and also the few stragglers. There's who we have there every year for literally no reason other than to get hammered which causes confusion like in my instagram photo where there are more than twelve people. Everyone in the comments is like wait a minute a fourteen person league. It's like no. We just have random stragglers. Make it every year to get wasted and play golf which makes it even more fun. It's like an even more ridiculous akilis reunion. It's absolutely inexplicable and to make sense of it. All it's not like i just happened to develop friendships with this many dudes in college that have lasted this long. We were on the same fraternity <hes> and that's the origin of it so if you don't see a benefit to the fraternity thing ever 'cause it's easy to find all the negatives they're everywhere <hes> <hes> the fucking are a lot of knowledge that they are. They fucking everywhere. The fraternity thing is is was terrible for everyone. Everyone involved uh-huh but they're huge huge plus that come out of it to like this. Show wouldn't have existed if i wasn't in a fraternity because if i wasn't in a fraternity i wouldn't have got my first job that led to me learning media that led to me get launch becoming the brand that i needed to become to launch my own company so it all you know what i mean. It's like it's it's. I don't know how to explain explain it. I mean there's the book obviously in the book that i wrote a book is really what got you here and also would i think may have actually destroyed fraternity life in the united states so i save save the world is what i'm saying. All fucking welcome ross has batman. It wasn't technically. It should be the guys who invented p._f._m. Who saved the world and you should give them the credit but we'll just put it on me for today anyway. <hes> where was i just fucking stragglers there so dinner was hilarious. <hes> obviously one dude dude. Let the table with me. I'm gonna leave as many people unnamed as i can't. He ordered accustomed. Gold blazer two sizes too big. I might add with some kinda a champion patch on it some fucking and he got the other three champs in his defense to agree to do this like months ago and he's the only one who did so. He's table in bob's chop house wearing a gold like handling mortis. I mean he dude. He's eating it up..

And Sheri, loyal listener, Diana in the Hudson valley about talking about the, you know, dissing foul crow foot apparel. Bob, I'm wearing the most cutest little boot short ankle boots that are velcro to closures. And you would never know it. It's just a little flap that goes across, and you know, velcro can be very behind the scenes, you don't even know. They're so easy on easy off. They'll crow is a Smart Choice. Bob, thanks to show guys. What she talked me into it. I'm getting those cute little boots. You can pull them off. Do you know that I had a pair of shoes once cut just just came to me now? I want to think that they were cold snap Jax or something. Like that. I've never heard snap. Chand? I think I was about eight and it had a little tongue leather tongue like picture like a black leather shoe, and it had on the top of it where the latest would be. There were no laces. There is a slight little black matching tongue and you would push it forward, and you put your foot in and then you would push it down, and it would lock into place. I just looked it up their their rockabilly shoes. Weren't you the cool? Little was I right on there. Is that what they're called snap checks? Yeah. God I haven't thought of that since I was eight total. They're perfect for rocket relates. They're like on the world like hipster sort of shoes nap Jax just what are needed to dance the night away. You had these little baby. Boy. I did. And they're still produce now. Well, how much your snap checks pulling them up right now to see this? If I can get my hands on them. They've got five to five star reviews. What did you say rockabilly because that's what this says perfect for rockabilly around the world. I'm reading you the description. Audience. I'm trying to see if there's no my God. They're now they're four hundred and fifty dollars. Well, because they're not a main stirs. God, I haven't why did I just think of that? That's funny. Do we have one more to hear from art? Let's hear one more of our listeners. I just wanted to let you know drive an hour to my workplace, I work at the school of hope which teaches kids on the autism spectrum drive everyday. And I listen to you guys every morning, it's really important to me to listen to you guys. And I bring you up in conversation at work and at home, thanks for everything. That's a job. That's a hard one bet. I have I have one more talking about chopping wood for the winter that made me think about the gentleman who called in and said that you are consistently inconsistent. So yes, are you kidding me? Bob, I can't picture you chopping wood through for the winter. Let alone knowing the difference between a wrench and a pair of pliers for ticket to out. So that's me from Wilmington North Carolina. That's Russell have a great day. Bob. Bob. Russell I admit to my ignorance use a wrench to take out my two or would I use? I'm going with the wrench. Let me tell you why. Because when you're pulling your tooth out of your head it, you know, it's going to get your attention. If you players, you might just let go, but if the thing is clamped down give it that one thing. There's no going back. Rustlers you has to know us. Thank you very much. That was bizarre. I will say this. I think the chances of Bob chopping wood are astronomically higher than the chances of bub poolings of two now. That right sister. You got that? Right. Bob, and Sheri instantly get the podcast and odd cast. So I'm going to tell you about an experience..

And right, and then hop on transit or you could Harpole you could take one of the lifts shared write programs that they're going to be offering on Friday, March move ability Austin's, Lisa k and still says there are several options to mobility because this is not a one-size-fits-all situation. John cooling, NewsRadio KLBJ, actually, go. So you've got to think ahead of time to to get around. This city congestion is going to be crazy. I would think if you own a downtown restaurant, you're not looking forward to this the south by southwest and speaking of traffic. Yeah, it's going to be extra bad this year because school's still going to be in typically stern spring break. That is not going to be case this year. We know we get a break. On traffic during spring break. We're going to be extra heavy restaurants. A lot of restaurants, don't necessarily look forward to south by south west a lot of restaurants. It means their business actually goes down as a result of it. A lot of clubs businesses actually go down depending on where they are a lot of folks don't show up to south by south west with a lot of money as far as the music aspect of it. The tech aspect of it every tends to have a little bit more money in the pocket. Right. Those that come here just to see twenty bands in one night. Sometimes they're they're they're not spending a heck of a lot of money on beer. Interesting conversation on Austin read it last night south by south west is is is the best week for eating and Austin as long as it's not downtown, right? That was the conversation. Yeah. On read it last night seriously every restaurant manager, I know is not excited downtown unless you're outside of. Downtown. So I'm just wondering what do you recommend jump in here at five one two eight three six zero five ninety what non downtown restaurant. Do you recommend for folks coming into town? So say that Ruth's, Chris, for example, that kind of thing where somebody normally would go downtown make reservation go downtown or some of the other places like that. Bob's chop house, whatever. Yeah. You're gonna you're gonna see some business go down because a lot of folks that normally would go to those high end restaurants, they're going to avoid downtown like the plague and in your south by south west, folks. I don't think are going to be frequenting those you don't think so. How do you say that? Well, because again, I mean, you you you you got this old idea of south by southwest a bunch of dirty musicians coming to town in a bus. I don't think that's a certain aspect of it. I think that's very little aspect. Well, it's it's becoming less and less status for the music part of it becoming smaller and smaller and less significant six twenty four stay with us top story straight ahead Todd and gone show..
