Your Daily Prayer
A Prayer for God to Answer
"But you O lord answer me. How encouraging to remind ourselves that the lord answers us. He answers us in truth, which ignites our faith and gives hope to our future as we wait on him to move in powerful ways in every area of our needs. So as we go through our day, may be rest in this truth. The lord is our shield, our glory, the lifter of our head, and he will hear our every cry and he will answer. We must speak these words of truth and strengthen our faith based on our understanding of who God is, and how he has helped us in the past. Let's pray. Dear lord, thank you for the words of this verse. Thank you that you are my protection, my meaning for living. My hope giver in the midst of my struggles. Thank you that I can cry out to you and that you hear my prayer. That you listen to my words, and that you answer my cry to you. I love you, lord. I will cling to the promise of these words and move forward in my day, resting in your protection. In my significance to you, and in the hope that you fill my heart with blood with your peace and open my eyes to opportunities to share the truth of this scripture with those around me. In your name I pray he meant.

The Globalists vs. America
"These globalists want to squander all of America's strength, blood, and treasure, chasing monsters and phantoms overseas while keeping us distracted from the havoc, they're creating right here at home. These forces are doing more damage to America than Russia and China could ever have dreamed evicting the sick and corrupt establishment is the monumental task for the next president, and I am the only one who can do it. I'm the only one that can get the job done. I know exactly what has to be done. To imagine a more succinct precise of the challenge we face. But I would add one additional detail. Yes, it is the globalists that do not believe in the nation state, the westphalian order in national sovereignty. They believe in some one world conglomeration where they get to define the values that you are allowed to expose, but beyond that, there's additional wrinkle. It's not just that nation states are bad, that sovereignty is bad. There is one nation above all else that must be targeted for dismantling. And it's ours. It's not just the globalists, vice the nation states. That's just a part of the story. It's the globalists against America.

Dr. Daniel Amen Shares an Amazing Story About an Overweight Friend
"Tell us about one of the friends you talk about in this book where you met with a friend who was overweight and you loved them enough to say, hey, you probably need to lose some weight if you want to get your life right. And he did, and he lived a better life. Oh, it's just such an emotional story for me. Mark and I had been friends. He's a psychologist, and we go to the same conference every other year. And we're having dinner at the restaurant, and I see him injecting himself with insulin. At the table. And I'm like, Mark, how much, how tall are you? He said, I'm 6 feet. I said, how much do you weigh? He said, 244 pounds. And I calculated on my phone as BMI, which was 31. And I'm like, dude, you're obese. And I also saw him order chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and a brownie for dessert. And after I saw that, I couldn't just stay quiet. And I said, I'm like, Mark, you're obese. And he's like, Daniel, you're so cold. I'm not as cold as you're going to be when you're 6 feet under. What's the matter with you? Why aren't you paying attention to your health? And any of the dessert. And I help. As I love him, but when we were at that conference, two years later, he'd lost 52 pounds. And I was having lunch with his wife. And with Mark, and he was telling me how much better his sex life was. And I'm like turning red, but it's absolutely true when you get physically healthy. Blood flow, you have better blood flow to your brain and it's just so simple. You have to wonder how many people that go in and they get these very aggressive pharmaceuticals how supplementation will tell us supplements in a second after the break and just losing some weight could at least improve some of their symptoms.

Dr. Daniel Amen Shares His Philosophy on Brain Health
"Introduce your general philosophy, what is brain health and how does that contrast with people labeling it as mental health? So about 32 years ago, I started looking at the brain with brain imaging study called SPECT and spec looks at blood flow and activity it looks at how the brain works. And very early on, I learned that most psychiatric problems are not mental health issues at all. But rather, they are brain health issues that steal people's minds and this one idea changes everything. Get your brain right and your mind will follow. Nobody wants a mental illness. I have to tell you when I told my dad in 1979, I wanted to be a psychiatrist. He asked me why I didn't want to be a real doctor. Why I wanted to be a nut doctor and hang out with nuts all day long. Now, my dad would not get father of the year award. But he reflected what society thinks about people who struggle with their mind. Nobody wants a mental health issue. But everybody wants a better brain. And I have argued for decades. Well, what if mental health was really brain health, then everybody would want it, plus it's your brain, the physical functioning of your brain, that creates your mind. So if your brain's not healthy, you have post COVID. You have a head trauma. You have Lyme disease. You have mold in your home to your brain's not healthy. It's really hard for you to think right.

Julie Kelly and Sebastian Discuss the Death of Brian Sicknick
"Let's drill down on a couple of things. We have to talk about Proud Boys. We have to talk about this. This amazing article that I've mocked up, which is your handy January 6th fact sheet. But let's talk about the first pieces of footage that Jacob translate footage and the Brian sicknick off cyclic footage. So with the case of sicknick, here we have heard again and again and again, the president, the vice president, Pelosi and others say that police officers died that day. No police officers died that day. Only people like Ashley babbitt were killed that day. The actual January 6th demonstrators and now we have proof positive do we not that there was no violent event on behalf of a January 6th protester that led to the death of Brian sicknick. If I had to pinpoint the most outrageous lie related to January 6th, then there are a lot. I would point to the exploitation of the tragic death of Brian at age 42 by all accounts a really decent man who had served his country with capitol police officer, I've been in communication with one of his closest friends who he actually texted. On January 6th said they'd antifa was there, by the way, that's been lost in a lot of the coverage as well. But Brian sicknick tragedy, tragically died of a stroke caused by two blood clots on January 7th. The next day, though, The New York Times rolled out a completely fabricated piece sourcing two anonymous law enforcement officials that claimed Ryan sicknick had been bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher by Trump supporters. Now this provoked an understandably nationwide outrage that Trump supporters would beat to death a capitol police officer with a fire extinguisher. Of course, I didn't believe it from the beginning because there was still no video or pictures that even claimed came close to showing that. But nonetheless, his death was exploited by the news media. By House Democrats by Republicans,

John and Eric Discuss the Concepts of Justice and Retribution
"Were just saying that the boys who climbed the cliffs, the boys who went into machine gun fire from the Nazis, that their goal was to kill German soldiers. Or at least wounded incapacitate and take them prisoner. Okay. The point is you stop them from committing violence. That's the point. Exactly, innocent. And if you and you're allowed to get angry, you're allowed to have a group, all the things that these simpering weakling Christians denounce, they want them. They want the cops to have camaraderie if they have to save their kids from kidnappers. They want the soldiers who landed at Normandy. They don't want them to be a bunch of Amish, who are going to waive bibles. They want people who are going to shoot guns at the Nazis. Okay, now, but let's be clear. And this is kind of the point. We talk about Lincoln, when Lincoln said, with malice toward none. He showed tremendous grace and magnanimity magnanimity toward his defeated enemies. Once they were defeated, once they were defeated, Lincoln did not say in 1860 and 61 and 62 and 63. He did not then say, let's not be so hard on these confederates who are trying to destroy the United States of America and who believe in chattel slavery. He recognized them as enemies. When Jesus said love your enemies, he didn't say they are not your enemies. He said they are your enemies. So first of all, it's like the man who tried to kill the Pope by John Paul the second. The Pope prayed with him after he'd been apprehended and put in prison. The Pope didn't say, let's be generous and let him out of prison. Why? Because then he will try to kill other people potentially. So the fact that people are so sloppy about this and that people don't understand when Donald Trump says, I want to bring justice. I want to bring whatever. He is not saying, okay? That he is going to bathe in the blood of his victims. But what he is saying is we need to bring about justice. We

John Zmirak and Eric Dissect Trump's Bold Statement at CPAC
"Read an article by a friend, a Christian who I think got this totally wrong. A wrote an article about what Trump said, I am your retribution. So here's the whole quote of what Trump said and then John and I can react to it and I can tell you why I think the Christian who wrote about this got it wrong and a lot of other Christians are getting it wrong. And it's very, very, very bad that they're getting this wrong. They need to get this right. Okay, here's the quote, Trump is speaking at cpac. He says, in 2016, I declared I am your voice. Today I add, I am your warrior. I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution. I am your retribution. Not going to let this happen, not going to let it happen. I will totally obliterate the deep state. Those were the most encouraging words I have ever heard. And I just want to say any Christian who thinks that's unhealthy, you have a kind of spiritual cancer. You are riddled with disease. You are everything wrong with the perception of Christianity in the world. You are the slave morality Nietzsche was talking about. You are the disease. Your niche is Christianity. You are a horrible little cartoon caricature of Christianity that Jesus wouldn't spit on and that the apostles wouldn't recognize. That kind of Christianity. Now, I want to explain why, in a very clear way, Donald Trump is not running for gangster. He is not ahead. He is not like the Bloods or the crypts. He is not a hitman, offering himself out to hire. He is running to be the president to work for the government to lead the government. It is the government's job to render justice.

The Breakdown
The Real Reasons Silvergate Collapsed
"All right guys, well, it has happened. As of last night, silvergate bank, one of the pioneers in giving crypto companies banking access is officially winding down. Today we're going to deep dive on the closure and how we got here because I think the how is incredibly important. I think that there are three possible interpretations of this whole affair. The first, let's call crypto risk. The idea that this was some inevitable byproduct of bankers getting involved with the overly risky crypto sector. This you might sum up as the Elizabeth Warren position. The second possible interpretation is that silver Gates failure wasn't strictly a byproduct of crypto risk, but had to do with specific risks that silvergate took in its business. In other words, specific business decisions they made. The third possible interpretation is that this was a coordinated hit led by a combination of short sellers and antagonistic politicians out for blood in the wake of the collapse of FTX. So keep those three possibilities in mind as we dig into the story. On Wednesday, silvergate bank announced that it would quote voluntarily liquidate its assets and wind down operations. A press statement explained, quote, in light of recent industry and regulatory developments, silvergate believes that an orderly wind down of bank operations and a voluntary liquidation of the bank is the best path forward. The banks wind down in liquidation plan includes full repayment of all deposits. The company is also considering how best to resolve claims and preserve the residual value of its assets, including its proprietary technology and tax assets. Outside legal, financial and project management advice firms have been appointed to assist with the winding down process. Now silvergate has looked shaky since announcing last Wednesday that it would be delaying the filing of its ten K annual report. The delay notification stated that silvergate needed more time to assess how regulatory investigations and losses associated with last November's $8 billion bank run had affected its earnings. The filing suggested that the situation of the bank could be dire, explaining that these events had led management to evaluate the bank's ability to continue as a going concern. In the fallout from last week's announcement, silvergate rapidly shed its crypto customers as one by one major crypto firms announced that they had cut ties with the distressed bank over the course of the following day.

Ride Along in Watts
"Good morning, everybody. I'm your sitting host omelet and obie. I had to take some time today to talk about an issue that is near and dear to my heart. And that is law enforcement. Here in LA, I've had some very interesting run ins with law enforcement in my support of the work that they do. And this is not to negate the real instances of police brutality or police malpractice, but to say that that is not the majority of police officers in law enforcement. These are amazing men and women who are choosing to take on the job of protecting the people around them and working within their communities. And the police officers that I know, I will say, are wonderful men and women who are not only police officers, but they are teachers. They are parents. They are social workers in the work that they're doing, and they really are just doing amazing work day in and day out and working to shine the best light on their profession. Now, one of the craziest stories that I've ever been through, one of the craziest experience that I've ever had is doing a ride along in watts here in south central LA. I've done many of these now in the past couple of years because I'm well acquainted with police and talk about the work that they do quite often. But one time I was on a ride along late at night and driving down a residential area in watts when all of a sudden we noticed a car had been crashed straight into a tree. Of course, the police officers had to get out and respond in a woman ran into the streets screaming about how they needed paramedics. She was covered in blood, wearing gloves, little did we know that she was a nurse who was not working at the time. And as the police officers ran over to the car, they found that behind it was a young man who had been shot to death. By a gang in the area and in the neighborhood. And when I tell you that so many of the people living in these areas are desensitized to gun violence, there were young kids sitting outside watching as this man passed away right on the street. And who's there to respond to it? None other than your LAPD police officers who are seeing violence like this and death and destruction far too often in far more than any human should ever have to. Now

Ukraine military identifies soldier seen in grisly war video
"Ukraine's chief prosecutor has tentatively identified a man apparently shot dead by Russian speakers in a video that circulated widely on social media as a missing Ukrainian soldier. I'm Ben Thomas with the latest. The grim 12 second video shows a man in Ukrainian army fatigues, apparently unarmed, standing in the Woods in what appears to be a freshly dug hole smoking a cigarette. Someone off camera can be heard saying in Russian film him. Lifting his chin, he says. Glory to Ukraine. Just before the gunshots. Monday, Ukrainian president volodymyr zelensky called on his nation to respond to those words in unity, saying glory to the hero. Glory to Ukraine. We will find The Killers. Tuesday formed mister de mitro kole said the incident explains what he calls a genocidal war. The Ukrainian man was clearly murdered, simply for expressing his Ukrainian identity and love for his homeland. It is a war crime and a violation of the Geneva conventions and the international humanitarian law to kill an armed prisoners of war. Adding the perpetrators of this cold blooded execution must be brought to justice. Ukraine has opened a national investigation. And I also urged the International Criminal Court prosecutor to launch an immediate investigation into this crime. On its Facebook page, Ukraine's 30th mechanized brigade identified the man as Timothy shader. I'm Ben Thomas

Natalie Winters: The Wuhan Institute Is Completely Under CCP Rule
"Just like the United States was giving money to a Chinese scientific group that was trying to better understand how bats interact with the environment or pursuing some far left social agenda like trying to stop climate change. The Wuhan institute of virology is completely under the thumb and control of the Chinese Communist Party. They have communist working groups at the lab. They fly the Chinese Communist Party flag. They have weekly. What they call party devotion Sessions. They have a foreign influence chapter there. They have a communist youth league under the auspices of the Wuhan institute of virology as someone probably the only American who's ever looked at their job applications. You can apply if you're not a member of the Chinese Communist Party and you're not in good standing with the Chinese Communist Party. So this is a CCP run entity through and through. And with that, because there is no really meaningful designation or difference between military and civil science. In China, it's also effectively a branch of the PLA in the sense that they were operating a bunch of the People's Liberation Army. Yes, that they were operating a bioweapons program. And we know this from documents from the U.S. State Department, but even if you go to the Wuhan institute of virology website, though they have since deleted these web pages, you can see that they used to list several several military researchers as higher ups at the lab itself. And even, for example, a lot of the blood samples, the human blood samples that they were using to conduct this kind of bat virus manipulation, this gain of function research with. If you read in the paper, they actually thank a branch of the PLA, the People's Liberation Army for those vials of blood, the human blood, whatever model they were using.

What We Learned From the Latest Fox News-Dominion Case Filing
"Uncovered covers new ground. And it does so. There's only one anonymous source that I would call from the book, Steve, which is the NBC News executive who wants to blast Fox and go on the record with you to do so. I think you only quoted one anonymous source. I've got to tell you getting bob ley to talk to you this way. Getting all these people to talk to Tucker, it's not going to help them in the dominion news case. I was talking with Chris Christie earlier today about the dominion news case. You obviously went to press before that happened. Does it change your opinion of anything since those text messages came out? No, not necessarily. I mean, I think that there is it's an interesting story. I think anytime you can read the text messages of people in power, it gets juicy. And so I think what's interesting about the dominion case is that frankly, in the original filing, 400 pages by dominion, 200 or so pages where Lou Dobbs, tweets, and Instagram posts at Facebook posts, Lou Dobbs, more than perhaps anyone was the driving force of the dominion lawsuit and of the kraken from Sidney Powell and Lou Dobbs was the guy who was fired immediately after the lawsuit was put out. So I think that's an interesting note. But I think it does also reveal that it was a really perilous time in November 2020. And I don't get too much into that in the book, but I do think that there was a real moment. I wrote about in my newsletter that I kind of described this blood in the water where Trump is spinning these lies and we see in the text messages, people like Tucker talking about the fact that Trump is spewing this and is hurting the people that are both fans of Trump and fans of Fox News

Twelve jumped the line answer. I it's not the full answer. But hey we on this podcast of this idea of the pack. The pact was going to be a top three conference. I agree the patch wells going to be up. She said it earlier she tweeted like people aren't talking about washington. They're gonna be really fucking the six team in that conference and they're going to be like a topic. The team new thing you see in the in the world of pac twelve has an easier shot at the top of it than say texas against oklahoma. I dunno taxes. I would say right now. Taxes versus oklahoma for big twelve. Usc texas has a big roadblock in front of them. In oklahoma. And usc really doesn't want keep the usc out of it. It'd be see but that goes but that goes back to like what we said. What the original. The first question was like florida. State has the least amount of roadblocks than nebraska michigan texas. Usc which one is national talking. I i'd say michigan i say usa. I think i'm gonna say. usc. I say usc. Because i think i'm going to say. They michigan's nearly as far as we. Actually that is true. Yeah on how they bounce back for this year next year like what the trajectory looks like. That's a good question to there's another one in a blender. These third question is your good debates. Due to recent powers the had mediocre years last year if you had to bet all of your money responsibly. Of course on the bachelor sports on a bounceback would you bet on. Lsu bouncing back to attend one season or would you bet on penn station state. Yes i got. Finally got to him penn state. I think they're going to have the biggest bounceback i've also think. Lsu while they had the best season in college football history had lightning in a bottle with joe having joe brady and having all the weapons around him i do not think that co is a powerhouse of a coach i think that what penn penn state last year we had them in the puck and playoff going in twenty. No i mean. Obviously he's not won a national title. But would you rather have james franklin as your coach or would you rather have editors ron. It's closer than you might think it like. I know but i it. But who would you take. I would take james. Franklin has had more success over his career outside of the fact of that one year and that one year was adores. Ron i really statement. How james franklin just pisses me. I think sure coach. Oh has if you have a national championship. You can't compete. Give it if you like the longevity of somebody's career like james franklin has been in the top of the coaching on one at vanderbilt which is a huge thing. Then had some very good years at stores had good teams and couldn't get to that next level but if you look did but he did but then he hires those coaches loses his passing game coordinator and his quarterback and they stink state. I think penn state. I'm only see i'm gonna i don't i think penn state is going to be better this year. You guys right there l. shoe this year. We've only seen coach. I'll without the all those guys and a cova. I can't wait to your use. It losing all your your all coaches. Then we probably should losing all your coaches with no spring football with no spring football and then all that limited practice time and then limited interaction time coaches weren't able to go into the facility taught like it was a completely different year and then so but it's not that you are like if you do take away that national championship. James franklin house had an awesome. You can't take away national show. Yeah plus you're saying. I feel like penn state like last year when i mean going into a cova dear but still we were like lapenne say could be in the top four. No none of us thought. Lsu could be. They call lightning in a bottle. Penn state needs a quarterback. John clifford's not. I love lsu fans assuming they have a quarterback too. I think he's good. Which one miles we start. But he's good. How long has he been at. Lsu only played. We think of that first mississippi state game and he only had two or three passing point five and then he played really well against mizzou and then he got insurance or diva historic. The defensive ever happen. Yeah but which is assume they're gonna bounce back because they're lsu no. I don't think they're assume. I assume they're in advance by all right. I'm gonna say bounce back. Feel like nine penn is gonna be like nine three nine four. Oh yeah would you rather be lost in. Space are lost in the middle of the ocean. I don't know why that was space. Died al muttering the ocean. Now you're in a year in a module your protective. But you just float aimlessly. You're lost lost in the ocean. The ocean if i'm protected than the ocean think about protecting the ocean space only protected in space. Well you it just doesn't work if you're if you're if you're because you die amelia and then then absolutely space if i'm protected in space not gonna just be lost in the middle of the ocean you die out anyway imagining like biting your toe your meal. The ocean die immediately. Yes i'm saying like like you you wouldn't survive long prolonged that hold on the ocean. I give them about three hours. Come get me swallowing water going down by myself. No i would. If i would i would fight to the last second because you could have an unreal movie about you. That's a good point. Jack lawson space remember that movie that open water. Where were they ended up. They like the girl tried to last as long as she could. Listen finally she just started saying and then you see the boats come across thanks. I'll take space okay. That wasn't total does interesting. That was very interesting. College had some good topics for pick central. All right not good to your top. What happened there. We talked about ship all right. So we'll start with the defending. Acc champions for last thirty eight years. The clemson tigers they're over under on the partial sportsbook app is eleven and a half basically. Are they going to beat georgia or no tracy snuff. I'm gonna take the under. I think they're gonna lose to georgia because if you take the over. You're saying they're undefeated in regular season. I'm going to take the under but not for that reason. Oh i think they could beat georgia and still they literally have. This has no margin for error. Eleven point five. They can beat georgia and he flying on top of the world and walk into raleigh With with five returning offensive starters and a new quarterback in a new running back and lose to nc state. They could get hit them out by somebody they don't expect to get hit in the mouth by I mean if you take the over. You're saying they're going to be undefeated. Greg yes right. So that's the juice on this. I didn't check that that's all right. Don't share that's important for wintel up. I'm touching the court. Don't tell all right next place. Florida state five and a five and a half and by the way by the way some saturday november thirteenth. All of this podcast is going to do a boost for yukon at clemson yukon. Maybe plus fifty two were doing the back. I already told west here on the booster club. Yes all right ever issue floor state. Five and a half..

"Because after that game i it appeared that he was the next big thing. The hudson cardis. Can i make a point that were you said earlier that the big twelve is run by texas. The fact that we've just spent all this time talking about big twelve media days and have it mentioned one. Other team is proof in the pudding too long. But i'm not. I'm not even worse sucked off oklahoma. Well that's what i'm saying. Yeah definitely like. That's the whole point. Is that like no matter in no matter where texas is in the rankings. They still run that conference say that. Oh my god you can have the same opinion. I'm talking about headlines. Okay other oklahoma thing last week it just shows what back relax. Are you going to break the mic. Shows what baby back bitches. College football thousand. Yeah you was living. Wow there was some oklahoma fans. That like that on camera when i put something out. Can i talk football go. There were some oklahoma fans. Put college when i put out that last week when you put it out me glowing about them calm when the championship there was some saying. Yeah you know. He's right but he's never been a friend of oklahoma's this guy saying this guy stupid Don't don't believe this guy. Don't listen to this guy because he's been mean to shut up you baby back bitch brandon walker tells the truth at all times and this year your legitimate national title contender. You're pretending before sorry. That's not my fault. That's yours oklahoma. I'm not going to have this argument again. Because i really don't feel like it. But it is bizarre to me that you did not like spencer rattler last year and all of a sudden coming into this season. It's like oh. There are legit national title. Contender what jack mean. The point like do the he literally did the finger-wagging my face he said last week. That the biggest question about oklahoma is spencer. I would say if you don't know if the quarterback is that good saying they're a national title. Contender might be reach their great everywhere. I mean. I don't know how good alabama's quarterbacks going to beat their national title contender and here's the thing. I say the same thing this year about ohio state and about alabama that. I said last year about oakland. Not really about clemson. I've seen enough of that. Got another so. I say the same thing about alabama state route oklahoma last year. Rattler had never done anything you'd never had a meaningful snap. I said all right. Don't just because he's oklahoma quarterback don't just assume he's going to be great and the first half of the year he wasn't great. He threw a bunch of interceptions. He got good down the stretch but last year but this year it's the second year i think he i think he's going to be good. They their national title contender. I don't know if he's that's my question. Brennan walker tells the truth when you call yourself by your full name. It's like a bit brennan walker the truth. What do you think about. Mike gundy's haircut. I think it's pre mullet. I'm just i think he knows. His job's mike is one of those guys. I'm just tired of talking about mike. Gundy is a guy hours dot was a look at me kind of thing and mike. We still talk about a man. I'm forty fifty shit or get off the pot with mike sunday like i mean. Oklahoma state has been the same team for for the last twelve years. You be careful what you wish for because last time i did this fucking guy also remember my ass but be careful what you wish for oklahoma state. Look at what you don't have to look that far to nebraska like you fire bopha pollini because you're like oh we can't go over the nine and three curve. He was eight in august. Fourth was always bow pollini day which is funny or nine nine. Nine four is bowl pollini day. Be careful what you wish for because nine wins ten wins and then maybe once in a blue moon. Let's not forget. He got fucked over from a national championship. Nebraska would love to be in the nine one area right now and that's where they were. Be careful what you wish for. Gundy may not be getting you to that. Glory land right now but who knows in you get the right guys in there. By the way spencer sanders just like did has not turned out to be who i thought he was going to be. You had him winning multiple heisman four. Yeah it was going to stay after. His thir- is the rare double heisman for senior year. Yes so all right. Oh boy boy. Oh boy the story that. She's putting on screen here. I solely for brandon. So last week right so i don't want to attack this lane. Kiffin took to twitter this week to address rumors that he quote done knocked up. Next ole miss cheerleader. Whose father just so happens to be an almost professor lane kiffin quote tweets says the best part of this rumor that usage of done knocked up crying emoji. Some people face palm emoji last week. If you remember. I went on a bizarre rant. Where i was like. You know. lincoln's kiffin real father figure. The programs is very bizarre. Well check can i please. I mean i told you this before. We started recording. But i remember you saying that. And i think if you went back in like just like put freeze frame on my face. I think i was like what is he joke about it. I didn't want to be like what are you talking about. I put it in. I joked about it then. Because i felt comfortable joking around because i didn't find it to be credible rumor also and i'll just say this. I think just a rumor. I don't think anything's true here. But if lane kiffin quote knocked up an x. ole miss cheerleader. Good for him was the problem he can. He can have sex and excellent. This isn't a colonel missile. If he wants to whatever if that rumor orchard which i don't think it is and he he joked about it on twitter. So i think we can talk about it if that scenario happen right. What's different not done. Knocked up next mystery later but good congrats on the sex line. He's not married ex. Old mischievous person was not married and out of assuming their next mystery. That means they're outta college they're grown. So what's the problem. I mean even. I mean it would be probably not illegal or not illegal but like if she wasn't college it wouldn't be the end of the world that she was twenty one frowned. Oh it getting fired if he but but but a grown person whatever so anyway not to talk about it much because i think it was a silly rumor that You know. I just loved that lane kiffin. Just like just talk shit on twitter. Let's not forget that tennessee fans based a whole coaching rumor. Off of a coach's wife being an ex tennessee. Cheerleader jon gruden. They always brought that up. They were like his wife wasn't at tennessee. Cheerleader gives shit ex. That's the point. All right kyle i. I don't want to talk about this. Yeah i don't either. I'm tired of next week though. I won't talk about it next week. I honestly i will say this. Katie go back for just a second unless my eyes are lying to me. I am seeing that. The that texas am is not even in the top thirty five note the seventeen a thank god. That's what i was staring at. You guys have your logo. can't be small. Yeah that is true. Okay if it's small. It just blends that. He had arkansas. Okay fine we don't have no. We don't talk about anymore. My is just north carolina guys sneaking in there. That's good win total farm. We're gonna acc in big twelve win. Totals acc a lot of big twelve today way too much picked by the way is you have to watch youtube because casey's face today have been very funny. Oh yeah yeah yeah. They've even one brandon said things you feel like you're ready for a break dire dinner one. Be careful to not hit the cord. Jack the bars are opening again. Thank god going out more because back baby restaurants are open. But you know what that means what. We're all spending a little bit more money because we were inside. We were cooking. Maybe we weren't spending as much on bar tabs but unfortunately with the good comes more credit card debt. You're not wrong. I will say there's a lot more on that credit card statement x bar saloon something like that so it's eighty yes there. Our friends at upstart are making this easy brand. You.

"Harry styles right. Well i'm talking about. Yeah like i'm talking. Stop stop. I mean harry styles podcast. Today can measure up to instinct. Pacman hairstyles is like one of the biggest celebs in the world. Also like i one direction. Like i feel like i'm that was like right after my boy band face i have i have you. You're probably in college. I have reached the age. Where i know fro- certain pop culture things. I have never heard of hairstyle song. Yes you have okay. I'm not aware that i've heard of harry. Have you ever heard watermelon. Sugar high. Certainly not as you have what sounds like sounds like my sophomore year college well. You don't like watermelon. So that i can get high either. I can't play it for. You cannot play. But i i will afterwards been youtube anywhere. You can even play late in podcasts seeking being. Hi it's funny because he doesn't even know the reference. No yeah no most people delicious. What i really watermelon. He's horrified right. Never countered one. That tasted like any of those. I'm over that over. What was it did. You make an announcement right now. Okay i meant those specific act. Oh i see oh well we all know. Excuse me no we are not this is can we talk football. Wow coming from katie. You're the one that you bring this on a normal tuesday. I brought it up. Serve the new talk. You ran with victim blaming you. Ask for it by me me you just ask him yes we we were talking about gas. Letting earlier have you ever heard the original form of gas lighting. No but i won't about football that horns down thing last week a very prototypical classic summer only story as an off-season story so the way that is not true because at you remember how seriously they took it out to the west virginia game when greer threw the ball to think who i think it was greg jennings who called it not greg jennings. Who is the jennings that ca- played wide receiver jennings. It was whoever they be and Went like this during the game and then so did after that big pass that was an awesome game and then there was a big deal before the oklahoma game. I think in twenty thousand nine hundred and there was also a big deal before the big twelve championship game. So this happens during the a big year. It was a big story. But i mean tom herman cried about it so i showed it. Sam etlinger did you see. It doesn't work for texas. Well no but. I will say like he like yes. It's the big twelve fault and texas fans who are rational. Probably think this office thing ever but like it's not like the big twelve just sat down like Are they offended by tom. Herman was like rided. Your boy whose mac cried about really back in two thousand twelve did and then. It's like texting tom. Herman did sam alligator. And then texas fans gaslight us saying no one at texas cares. Are you kidding well. It is like the vocal minority too. I think because like i said my friends who are rational. Who are texas fans are like. I don't give a mother dog if you put the horn sam logger. Mack brown in Mack brown and then tom. Herman are not vocal minorities. I would say vocal majority black. No they all. Those are three white guys. They're big people in texas. Oh yes but. I'm saying i don't think that they represent the majority of texas fans when it comes to that that's fair. Does that make sense. The hundreds of thousands of texas fans let me tell you the majority wouldn't give a fine. You can say that if came out tomorrow and said we the horns down nine hundred texas fans fuck. Yeah tell our tell them what they would do just like win. Herman did it. They backed him as soon as as soon as harman's gone. Oh never that's absolutely urban by the way right. Now if jimbo fisher came out and was like were offended for thumbs down. I'd be like No we're fucking guys. You gotta ride with him. No i don't think i put it's just a softest thing ever and then also sark's that winning is hard at a big twelve meter when he is our. I couldn't agree more. Although i'm trying to starting to taxes no opposite ono now i'm starting to like all texas fans believe they made the higher the off season and it's very possible they did very good is it i. We think it is correct. At least i'm paid thinking. Is you think it is. He has forty five and thirty seven career records and he also had has a forty five and thirty seven records. He went to alabama where he got to coach heisman trophy winners where he got. Oh my god. Sark's offense arts offense arts office. Yeah got the best players in the fucking country the best quarterback at the best running back the best offensive line. Yes i think that alabama put a little too much shine on him. I think you'll be good. I don't know if he's the guy we'll see if he is i'll i'll come back in three years five years. I'm sorry i was wrong. Was the guy lycee about like the mac. Jones comparison that maximums. We don't know how good he is because he had the best receiver is best o. Line said that same thing then up said that dozens of times. I do think actions one of the bus calls quarterback summer. But i'm thinking blake in the same way. Not physically interns receivers. He had the best ally was with. Sarky i was working with the best players. Of course the offense is gonna look good. I it's it's only. The coaching was saving has an clemson offense coordinator. Ben get is gotten a great job. Questioned i mean but yeah but but if they got an offensive coordinator who had a previous pass as an upcoming head coach that was derailed by unfortunate life problems. I mean this was a very unique situation. it's like it's not like a whole lot of obama. Offense coordinator have gotten great jobs before day. Ball is right now about to. I would say he may be an nfl head coach next year right and then other things and then who was it before you put brian day ball was like lane. Kiffin left alabama. Went to florida atlanta yet. But now he's nasty coach so now he's not see coach. Steve and i will say lane. Kiffin is probably inapt. Not in a good comparison because both failed at usc. Both offense minds as length given going to turn. I would rather be texas than ole miss because like obviously always always. Well i mean just even outside would absolutely rather bands. So i don't know i top haram. I will say the amount of hype they texas fans have bigger. It's okay it's okay. I'm by the amount of hype. Texas fans have based off of a ballgame against sudden very good colorado team and a second half from bijon robinson and casey thompson. Tracey thompson starter. Which is crazy..

"Oh greg burke why don't you come up with me because he's the biggest commissioner big twelve coordinator officials greg burks. This was last week so that if an opposing player does Horns down to a texas player. That would probably be a penalty but doing horns down towards your fans probably won't be a penalty although he left. Open the possibility that could be okay. Let's move all time. Here's the thing much. Like i am not gonna shit on texas for this. I'm going to shed on the big twelve much like when when something happens and you just get all kinds kinds of hail from texas fans. Even you have nothing to do with it. I feel like texas had nothing to do with this false tom. Herman says some things about. Don't do horns down all that shit but they show up immediately as right on texas doesn't bring this up and they're talking to the head of officials and he's like a horns down. It'll be opponent if you do it right at somebody. It is the softest thing in the world that idea that players can't take horns down in their face it is very very soft and i've always said it's just like we've gotten penalized for doing it before after we sack him. If one team can do that hand signal then they can take it. Done back at them to stop them. I'm sorry that just came. One team should be able to anyway. I don't think it's texas though it's not text. It's the big twelve who will do anything in the world to slob on the knob. Of the longhorns. That's not texas his fault. That's texas in texas runs at conference. They run they run iowa state they run oklahoma. They run they run. Everybody in oklahoma fangio sitting here is i know in texas. Run it no you. Don't texas runs that conference. Texas runs the conference and decisions at this level are made in the name of texas texas fault. They are the the money the big money. And that's why it's hard sometimes to take texas seriously because they are a big fish in a plan where like that fish is taking care of. Its fed it's it's hot. it's coddled. Yeah nobody's fishing. They have no danger there. So they're absolutely they're they're. They're like a ten pound bass on a koi pond. they're just absolutely protected and texas fans. Don't see it but you are and the rational texas fans do see it. I really do now again. I twitter phantom is never rational. No chance i even had some texas fan saying like as a fan of this school as a long worn i. These people are being super soft. Because i do feel like the idea of being able to do horns down is like a rite of passage for anybody just like doing anything else. And if that offends you then you're just a soft person like now i. I will say the horns like the long horns hand signal is the probably the coolest one in sports here that texas fans. I'm giving you a compliment giving you a compliment. This is probably the coolest one i will. I i know texas tech has the the guns up. Atm's gig him. It's not as cool looking but if anybody did a thumbs down in my face. I could not be less offended. Who gives shit. It's a thumbs down. It's not like they gave you the middle finger so it's like why would you care if your hand signals upside down if you do a hand signal it's going to be back in your face. The like the the you is another good. How many times has an opposing chatter out. Gift of him during the youtube is dick. How many player against florida score touchdown and then mockingly did i. Don't i don't understand that like as as a football fan. That's the kind of should that you live four to have that moment. If i was a player. Willing florida. And i sacked tim tebow. You better bet on fucking chomping and his horns up. I think that this like when everybody in the stadium is like as my brushing as anybody in the stadiums like this. I think that looks really cool. It's the in sink thing that i don't like you know like everybody was sync. I like backstreet. Boys better yes i do. I've always liked the backstreet boys better with you. The new girlfriend maybe. John's but see here's the thing. If everybody was in sync doing that i would feel differently. What is all we're going to get kicked off a youtube but everybody if you look at like a game and everybody's doing the horns up backstreet more than sink justin timberlake. Well old guy first of all they were all like the same age. Second wife. i've talking. About how gestation individual people then yes obviously. Jt is higher. but as a band. When i was younger also. I'm ten years younger than the by double the streams of in sync all right. I don't care this stupid people out there in the world. I mean just by simple numbers. They have double the streams of in sync because justin timberlake was all instinct. Jc shahzad was a delight. Well i mean just for tone. Just let me listen. I love justin timberlake. I am not knocking him. But as a as a young preteen girl i loved. Nick carter and i love the backstreet. Boys i listen. Can i give you this. This is where we're going to not at the time. This is where. I'll meet you in the middle guy. Justin timberlake by far the most talented of all boy bands of all time. He was when it comes to boy bands as a whole all of them backstreet. "Dallas. We didn't know what's played in san antonio who is two hours away and i know what she did. She was building the graph yet right and she was going by the last team. Ex- ex- yeah. We've talked so long about austin with in my hand. In oklahoma it was oakland versus texas in austin texas. Was last thing on. The graphic animates and people lost their mind. Oh my god. I can't believe it's not in dallas. You it is. This shows what you don't know about calling football suck my fucking dick grasso. Dumb did phenomenally well on every platform especially keep making small mistakes. Oh yeah. I have not made a perfect on somebody. Graphics make you take off. So because casey's getting very interested by it she's she's found to texas am logos and she's wondering what they are best. Okay keep going down in a minute to else we got. We got some off. But we're doing for conferences a week. Doing it for two conferences. Or under acc and big twelve over unders. We thought we'd bring our top five but we're just going to go through every every team in the acc big while this week and they're total bottles horseback gap. We will say yes. We hate it. Yes push whatever will say really. Oh we can push say whatever we want our show we can say whatever the fuck we want. We can say sure house. We'll just us no. Yeah we can even know we can We can Going to push for any team at six and a half wins because they're out half wins this year like the jersey shore house one ban. It took took too long and i should have saved it for the total. I win whenever. I didn't get ten thousand dollars just a just working on getting there quicker. You're right. I never said that i'm perfect in. That's something i need to go to that one. And i should have just thrown in. There just went through the lobbyists. You high now okay. Positive vibes on Agree i agree. Where do i want to start. We will get to the overall on. That just happened so dion. Sanders is in Then the old news. Dion sanders. And i know i. I have an opinion on what he did. But i do think there's an element. Let me tell you why did so today. At jackson state media that slack need is a reporter from the clarion ledger. I believe was asking him. A question called him dion. tigon way. Think your defense this issue and dion sanders partial employees dion sanders of nfl hall of famer dion sanders co host. Everybody knows dion sanders. Subway spokesperson dion sanders. Storms out and. then he's he's reached an somebody asked him. Why don't you storming out He says because they call me dion. You wouldn't just call. Nick sabin with cuss you out. If you call him nick something like that. I don't have anything well but that's pretty much. Okay so yeah. Somebody get that for me. But that's what dion said. And i believe dion is spectacularly wrong here crazy wrong however i feel relatively certain i don't know personal level. I feel certain he knows what he's doing what he's doing. He s so i. I do know him. I do know him on a personal level. Obviously the from the show but also if you think about the swag media days sir are there any headlines from the swamp communities while the sec media days are going on well. I think there will be because of dion sanders saying also he just before he stormed out he did a minute and fifty rant about. Why don't why don't why doesn't the media give hbu football more coverage so. I'm sure him storming out than if you search dion sanders on twitter right now you then there. There's two minute clip about. Why isn't the media. Give us more coverage. So i think he is kind of doing the chesapeake around the. He's moving he's not piece. Probably not even mad. I would assume he's not he said you. Don't call nick sabin nick. Don't call me dion if you call nick nick. You'll get custom on the spot so don't do that to me. Treat me like nick okay. Here's the thing i have. i was. Sec sports media days. how many times. And i covered many many coaches coach. Reporters call nick nick all the time all the time every time and when whenever we covered mr state dan mullen they call him. Dan reporters call coaches by their first names. Because we're borders and coaches are no better than reporters coaches are not better than important. They're they're the same. They're they're equals. I think that every time. I've addressed a coach. I just always say coach. I think that's not because i'm trying to like not get in trouble. But i think like the go-to maybe it's different from like a newspaper. Standpoint than from a sideline standpoint but every sideline interview. I did it was coach. Not even not coach david coach sanders. It was always coach enough fair enough. But i think you know calling them by their first name. I mean can you. Can you imagine if like you know. Laura rutledge shadow. Her her daughter was on the sidelines. And it was like. hey nick. What were your adjustment customer out. I mean well. You wouldn't cuss her out but like did he would get what happened with maria taylor but like i. I've never seen like a sideline reporter. Say call them by their first names in that situation. Most of them are really. I just say hey. Hey coach coach. You know i if if you if you said hey nick. I don't think you're getting like that. You know what that maybe again. It's two different types of journalism. But like that you just saying if i me suffice it hey nick like i just had a shiver up my spine of the look that he would give into my soul. If i said that. But i do think it's different in game the not a press conference. I do guys say that. he's called. He worked with nick sabin for a long time. And he's said that dionne wrong because he's worked with. Dion are with nick sabin and called. Nick sabin nick. Press conferences on is wrong. I think dion woke up this morning and decided he was going to move the needle. Move the needle and knows how to move the needle more than anybody in probably sports in the last thirty or forty years. Dion got the. Hvac you rent you talked about. I mean i. I've always are going to get eyeballs and ears. We're gonna get to that rant now. That wasn't have got otherwise so again. Nothing worse than apathy. But if we're going to be fair even though he's a co worker the actual san call me. Dion are call me coach. Don't come me dion..

Kyle whom laying in his blue bloods and you don't have to talk about that. Because i know he comes. Came out with a graphic saying with a bunch of criteria. And also we would be remiss to point out that katie doesn't know where dallas texas no fence. Yeah no numbers though. Didn't it it did it was. That's all she's off by a half inch she'll no no no no what stops new. Hey i just wanna step in for you here katie. Does she does autographing she. She went on all of them do but she does she. Does she does that. Were were great but the fact that she put out a graphic of thirteen weeks of travel and say wait one. Here we three there. We've and then. The oklahoma texas game was slightly askew from from the south an interest in an eighth of an inch off and every reply was. Oh this fucking idiot no dallas. We didn't know what's played in san antonio who is two hours away and i know what she did. She was building the.

"They went all over the country. Great show came out to critical acclaim. It was thirteen million views. Casey am when the winning team. The winning four got forty thousand dollars. And i assume this ten thousand dollars each. Yes cutting thousand dollars. Each and the rights to a jersey shore house for the entire month of july correct correct. And so you did not win. We're not winning team. I was a sacrificial lamb. So that kelly keys could win ended you. You do not win however Members of the losing team as so capably blog by jack. I'm going to read a tweet quote. If you're on the losing team from barcelos america you can't be staying at the jersey shore house. i just want to protect the integrity of versus america. Jack mak our producer wrote a blog. Detailing how guys like people like spider and marty and casey. We're spending time at the bar. Storehouse days nights time even though they didn't win thus compromising the very integrity of what everybody watched and casey. You don't like that. He wrote that blog. And you think he can fuck right off and jack you're protecting the integrity of this show at first of all. I didn't even see the blog yet. My qualms came with the video. That i saw i because it was sent to me and i was the first now. Maybe viva fucked jack a little bit. I don't know but the first name the he brought up was miami's o'casey smith's spin there for two weeks and went on this whole rampage about me. His podcast go after but it was first of all. I've spent forty eight hours in this house. I did go there. The first weekend. I was there on thursday i drove down. Thursday went to hainan event and was brought back to the city the same night. Here's the thing. That was not set on the show. Which i will give jack a little bit of credit that it was not set on the show but going into it. We were all told. The entire month of july is sponsored by high noon and we would be doing promotional events in which the contestants of barcelona's america would need to be in attendance. Now i'm not going to to my own horn but i'm all over hainan commercials. I've been doing high noon since day. One of this thing and embi said most of the places requested my presence to be at these events so the first weekend was about making a splash at the jersey shore. And then i left. I got up on monday morning. I left everyone else stayed. I have not spent more time in that. But what i had qualms with was that jack was just throwing me under the bus. As if i've been living there the whole time he's seen me in this office for two weeks jack. You've zone Everybody on podcast onto the bus at one point. What are your stance on this. That could be a producers. I didn't know that but again. That's not my. I'm a viewer of the show. Then his scope. Casey and i was trying to protect the beds and the house has fourteen beds however if they're going to stay on this show and if high noon and other sponsors wanna keep sponsoring these shows because i know the the show. I'm not one hundred percent. Sure i don't even know if i can say but i know high noon paid a lot of money for this show and it went great. Everyone did a great job including the producers however with the shore house. I was told that was online on the first graphic that came out that everyone tweeted forty thousand dollars in the shore house. Miley point was yeah okay. It's a high noon month you. I'm sure bar so would have paid for a hotel motel. I'm either or they're mostly motels down there for people to say at or a car back if you wanted to return after the event what about if. There's i said maggie back if i hotel motel. I said two weeks which was wrong. But kinda right because they were only there for forty eight hours but it was across two weeks or a week two separate weekends. Stay so you freeloaded at the jersey shore house. That's what jack. Yeah i know. I understand that. So here's the thing is that i When i am asked freeload. When i'm asked that's what i heard when i'm asked by. Our sales team are people who put our sales in action and then also the people who sponsor my entire life which again i've laid in a beach chair in the green screen room for four hours in a bikini katie watched four high noon. Not making a dime off of it by the way. Everybody knows i'm not getting paid by high noon. And then they say hey. We would love your presence. Be at these things. And i would like to say. I've met a million amazing high noon reps but all of these events. I'm standing there talking to high noon about unnecessary roughness. The college football show the commercials that i do. And that's why i am. They're the reason. I was there for the first forty eight hours. It's because they wanted everybody who is a part of the show to make a bang the first weekend and then i got in a car and i went home. Not that kind of banks. When did you say everybody had to bang at the jersey. Everybody did you stay at the house. Yeah okay but high noon got a house that has fourteen beds in it. Yes then they shouldn't have put it in the show but that but my thing was was that it was like you were acting as if first of all there's more people at that house that were not a part of the show well thing to do with you including not us specifically but the other person here that i. It's over with with him. Oh yeah even spider they. He brought up right away the other people. That wasn't my and i understand. That's a fair qualm. To and i didn't say you shouldn't have been there. I said the losers shouldn't have been able to say at the house. Now i get it. You had to be there. And i think if if borstal didn't pay for a hotel motel for the losing team stay at for the venture to go to. That would have been ridiculous. And i think they would have my friend. Jack is trying to protect the integrity of the show was like i would like to point out that i did not get ten thousand dollars and i would have loved to have ten thousand dollars and all of a sudden if you watch the show..

"There was no work so yeah yeah. I bet you'll where can people find you online. Well i'm not on tick-tock yet. I am on instagram. I am on facebook. I am on twitter. And i do have three movies out right now. They all dropped at the same time. Which is super fun. But it was the whole filled all them in two thousand eighteen twenty nineteen pandemic and they all get released. They are on their all available on amazon. And that's probably the easiest way to find them. There is distemper distemper is on amazon under the stadium lights which i did with laurence fishburne and mel gibson son milo the poster on i tunes last night i rented it. We bought it last night. It turned out pretty well. I'm really yeah it was. It was a good experience. Cute little film assault on via thirty three. Which is like die hard on steroids. I play a general's wife and get kidnapped and thrown trunk and it's super awesome and then the wrong path where i am the villain. The bill which drew more line was in that show. I love drew. And hopefully we get to work together. And i had a blast. She's such a great guy. He's a great guy that was very hot film shoots. they're just very steamy. You're wondering the store. Plus our store was like two hundred square feet. It's a tiny little store. So i stayed behind the register. I knew it was her instantly. But like i was so chill inside i wasn't but but on the outside i was cool as a cucumber. So suave when she gets up to the register. And i was like i just have to tell you that i'm a huge fan of your work. And she looked up me and she said who were you. Who are you she. She lit up like a christmas tree and she goes. Are you an actor. And i said i mean i suppose it depends on who you're talking to. I was like yeah. Yeah i'm an actor. And she she looked right at me and just like saw into my soul and she goes. You're gonna make it. And i was like she has. No you are you're gonna make. It have carried that with me. I i don't. I mean i hope i actually get to see her. You have to tell you have to. Yeah that's going to happen though. You know down the road like you're gonna find yourself. I bet the word work tipped her off. Maybe is a lot of would. Just say oh. I'm a huge fan of you ryan different when you say like the thing that you do for a living your work. I'm ray enters the art that you make. S you also had the decency to not be linked. I think again like having a job that respected my time and there is that that mutual understanding that i would give back as one hundred ten percent when i was there and be committed when i was there but when i wasn't there i was needing to do my thing. If i hadn't had that job i don't i don't really know where i would have been like that. "Where here to train you to guide you to prepare you to book it and so how did all that come about with blue bloods getting getting the role. Yeah with you're saying you didn't realize it was going to be such a recurring thing. Yeah so i was constantly auditioning. I was working with a manager. Who would get me quite. She got me in front of quite a few different casting directors. How did you get this manager. I feel like so. I was with another manager for very long time. Who ended up getting out of the business and She wanted to be sure that. I was taken care of. So she recommended that i interview with this other manager which i did impersonal. Managers are another whole. I mean we could talk for hours about whether or not you need them. You know whether it's worth having twenty five percent of your income skipped right off the top. But i feel that it is because they get you in the room. What you do once you're in the room is obviously all you but if they are allowed are giving you that opportunity that you can't otherwise afford yourself why would you not. So she's business of gatekeepers. Yes it really is. So i'd rather have seventy five percent of guaranteed pay than one hundred percent of income. I don't know when it's coming and if it's coming so this was a brand new show. I knew the tom selleck was the star in. This was a role that. And i think i've said this before and other interviews there was really no. It wasn't that it was right for me. It wasn't anything they didn't have gender in mind they didn't have a race in mind. They didn't have an age in mind. It was detective mel slash melissa. And so you're not only competing with people. Who are your type. But you're competing with literally every single every will see you know. These are scenes with tom. Selleck and at this point. Like i had done a couple of little bit parts and done some under-fives on espnu and a couple of shows that fill in connecticut. Are we there yet. there was one other one. Jim gal was that before. That was after after not too much after. But that was after your bearings. You've done a little bit but you were still not at that point though where now this name of the back of child. Yeah definitely didn't have my name on the back of a chair. And i had done theater as well. The the the company that i worked for was lovely with leading meal new work day shifts so that i could do nighttime theater. You know so. I was still i was. I was working unpaid but working and auditioning fairly consistently This one i went in. And this was in green point brooklyn which at that point i was like what what is in green point brooklyn like there wasn't a sound stages this was before brooklyn. Became this big hub for shows right because this is twelve years ago at this point which was just starting. Yeah and the director was in the room. The castle was into the room and the producer is in the room. And i felt really great about it and then i just let it go because i was like okay. You know clearly like this. Is i mean one in a million shot right then and then i got it and i was like holy shit. I'm going to work with tom. Selleck oh my god. Oh my god oh my god and did you know that this was going to be recurring your house. You were kind of zits with off. This was a one. This character was two hundred episodes..

"You wonderful things start happening right and see. I don't have the time. I don't have the luxury of time anymore. To waste on worrying about how i am received in the room or any other way because i've got two little humans that rely on me and that's mentioned my animals so i think really when i became a mom of dog mama cat mom a human mom you know. There's there's this fundamental shift. And i actually appreciate it greatly because again i just simply don't have the time to dedicate anymore to worrying about it and i love it great. That's wonderful. were you afraid of. Were you afraid of becoming a mother. We've asked this question before two previous parents that we've interviewed where you originally kind of apprehensive about what it will do for your acting and would it be affected and we would you become just a mother when in fact it kind of did the opposite. I was terrified. We were not trying actively to become parents. We all know how these things happen. This is not the podcast for that. So you know. I find out i'm pregnant and i just wept like fell on the floor caning. 'cause i was just so so devastated and didn't know what to do because it felt so foreign to me but and then there was the terror that said in because i was in my second season and blue bloods at that point and i wasn't really an established character. I was just someone that they kept bringing back when you know like they'd pepper me in the scene and if i was needed i'd be there so i was so terrified that this glorious opportunity that i found myself with was going to be ripped from me because oh we don't have time to deal with her being pregnant because they have to accommodate costumes and things like that but i will never forget. I was with a friend and we went to see a play. And i had gotten to the point where i was about five months pregnant and i was just at the point where i looked like i had definitively in a huge chipotle burrito like i could not bucket it in anymore i had been sucking it in you know for for five months at this point so i had a call into the producer to tell her and i was shaking with fear. I i've never been so apprehensive literally about anything ever and she finally. I got on the phone with her and told her and there was just this tiny beep. She goes mazal tov and i went. Oh my god. And i breathed deeper. I mean like you the weight that was taken off and it just was like the easiest most effortless thing in the world for her. And i meant why on earth did i- agonize over this and wait so long like the things that we do not allow ourselves to do or feel because of fear..

"It's so different you know and you have people with hair all over the place but back then especially in the south. Your hair was everything. And i was like. Oh yeah take it. Take what i wanted. Anything can't it to me. What role i take off my arm. Yeah so i was at this so then came back. Had the had this amazing edition and they were like basically the role is yours except for signing on the dotted line right so i went to a summer arts camp And you know had that that feeling for for really. I think the first time in my life where i just was like this. Is it like this is. This is going to change everything. Mrs going to open all the doors. I don't know what's going to happen after this. But like i just was so like more certain of anything in my life that this was meant to be you know i just felt like the whole universe was delivering this beautiful amazing thing to me. So i'm not. I'm in the middle of doing stage. Combat class at this performing arts camp and the payphone phone rings because of course this is before cell phones so pay phone rings and the comes gave me was. Hey your mom's on the phone. And i was like. Oh my god. We got him finding. I'm finding out. I'm finding out. I got the girl and she was really quiet. And i was like mom and she goes. I'm so sorry the network decided to give it to a name. And what do you mean. You're like i have a name yet right. You didn't get it. And i was like i'm going to kill melissa joan. Hart well i can tell you who it was please. So it was anna pack win okay and it was nominated for an oscar yet. This was after yes. So we're about the same age so this was she. Yes so about three or four years after the thanks. I think she was eleven. So so then i find out that you know they wanna gave me featured extra role background role and i'd go up as a consolation prize. I'd go up for the day and be a bridesmaid in this in this wedding scene. And have you know whatever and the other. Extras can't eat from crafty. But you can. And isn't that nice. Okay so in school where you were were were you kinda like socially were you sort of like no girl because of all this now. I was such a nerd. nice. I was the biggest nerd ever and went through the most awkward puberty ever. And like i had the sally jesse rafael glasses. And the big red rims. Yeah yes the big stick baby bangs. That were like here. And then here's the glasses and then here's my braces. So where was my face. no it didn't exist so anyway that was crushing crushing. I mean beyond and then to just drive the nail into the coffin and bury me I went to do a day on this film. Actually did i did it. Yes because of course i did. I could put it on my resume. And like i was trying to learn that if i wanted to do this i had the thicken up my skin. So of course. The day that this scene was filming was anna's birthday.
