"You know, we we talked about the running back and it's a kwon is that is that excellent talent, I mean, very unique skill set where he can just make something out of nothing and break a 60 yard touchdown. So But the issue is that as we've seen, Zach is the running back position in the NFL has kind of been devalued. Uh and these great running backs have had wonderful years get paid, and then they really fall off. So there really is not a long shelf life. Not along. Of career of OK, These are prime years and this is we build our team around running back to help us win a Super Bowl. So forsake Juan. Of course, he's gonna say he said all the right things up to this point. He is going to keep saying the right things about I want to be a giant for life. I like what's going on here. He's going to say that because that's what type of person is. He's a stand up person. Supreme character, so he'll always say the right thing now, But behind the scenes, we'll see. Once contract time comes up what he says then, in a situation where the Giants organization is where the team is. So we'll see once they come comes about, but he's a supreme talent. They'll say the right things, but we'll see what happens when the contract time comes about. Let's get to the final down. When we look at the defense for the Giants that bringing Blake Martinez this past offseason they made that trade which I don't really get for Leonard Williams last year. Now he's back on the franchise tag. The giant's defense is what to you for the sub common year Mark Cross. The Giants defense is not much better than last year on a CZ you saw last year they really were a liability. The biggest thing is the pass rush. They still don't have a pass rusher. They basically are counting on Markus Golden, who they signed very late. You know that No one else around the league really want market stolen. There wasn't a big market for him. He's a free agent and they got him a couple of weeks ago signed him back. They have a couple of young players that they're counting on who didn't really produce last year. So you know, that's really In the NFL. You gotta rush the past. You have to get after the quarterback and the Giants don't really still have that pass for us. Even though they've been looking for that past couple years, I thought, I think Blake martinis with their big freeze and signing. Along with James Bradberry. He's a corner..

"Here are the kids from Wisconsin it was a good player but other than that there's not a ton of linebackers the that they went early to open early and after that did it there's not any that I was craving you know what I mean yeah that's I think that's honestly why Dave Gettleman addressed it specifically in head on in free agency I mean Blake Martinez is one of the I think it was the first signing for us in free agency yeah right and then and then he brings in fact role in in Bradbury in the secondary exit bribery might but first we had to be honest with you but then they were very aggressive in shoring up the holes in free agency on defense so what we wanted which by the way take rarely works it does very rarely work you're right but I think he has a familiarity with James Bradberry from his days in Carolina and his coordinator his defensive coordinator Lisa giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was with the Green Bay Packers and so background is best season under Graham the Packers Blake Martinez was drafted under Graham with the Packers so it's like it's like you're servicing your skin your your your coaches your staff like you're giving them what they want victim it's death if dexter Lawrence turns out to be the player you know if he's a first rounder that they expect them to be Leonard Williams you know his grievance not withstanding turns out to be a contributor the giants Stevens can get okay kind of pretty quickly but you don't raise the price still there right but yeah I want to ask you a question one one quick but I got I got a question for you would have a lot of time but I want to ask you this what is your what is your realistic expectation for the giants this year really what you got what five hundred be happy you know what I got thanks for the call they're bright I think you need to be a little more ambitious with that because I think a lot about senior living five you're not there yet we know that but you know to me night and seven PM in the periphery the wall corporation I don't think that that's off the table but I can't say that about the jets I cannot that's what I feel B. T. that's what I feel the giants yeah that's a position they look the division's gonna beat it watch it is going to be better you don't I mean just just because of the philosophy the mentality of of their their head coach Dallas should be better the Philadelphia Eagles were already good even like they kind under chief level they weren't healthy teak truth sets that mean the under G. but it wasn't it wasn't really anybody's fault the division is hard right so if you go like eight eight actually a horrible I mean in in ninety seven which is not where I think they're going to fall in yeah the we'll see how the rest of this draft plays out I think that's that's the progress that you need to see and we'll see if Joe judge is no nonsense this quiet like like confidence and didn't this demeanor this this this this dump that I feel when I'm when I hear him or look at him I think it's a good thing for this team I would I don't know if it's gonna play out this way but I remember an old jet fans were old enough to remember this you go back to I know it's obviously a point of reference it's a it's a horrendous period we get that but in the mid nineties will co type right in the greater points not about coach that it's about the giants here but just to connect the threat so they go free thirteen in ninety five they go wanted fifteen back in ninety six and that Parcells comes at a ninety seven they open up in Seattle that's the weekend princess Diana was killed in the corporation a member service coming back relax city heard it yeah that was the day before my first game as a giant home I guess eagles that night had that happened that night in the morning I woke up and we played the eagles first game young tiki yep and they play Seattle all right and they hang forty something on at the old kingdom and I'm like what my expectations I'm like a I don't know just the just the I don't wanna get embarrassed every week I got my real expectation coming in and right away you can see the other scores forty seven points but as the season progressed you could tell that they were very diligent on special teams fuel position which was more important than more so than now because everybody scores points for the most part now but the little things like punt returns and and endpoint defense or if your position and I really think that that Joe judge is going to have an impact there yeah special teams coach that is where and that's the kind of thing and listen we can talk about all the guys that they brought in we could talk about the injured Thomas and whoever else they want the draft in we could talk about the angel Jones and sake wanted sterling eleven anger more you want even Dion Lewis was a decent under the radar pick up about that all day the division if the giants gonna steal a game or two and they're going to get tonight at seven it's going to be because they're somehow elevate their special teams and I actually think that could happen for the giants this year no you're right look at we talk about this all the time with the pats situational football is why they when they put in they put S. S. a guy could be a superstar Tom Brady Julian Edelman rob Gronkowski or could be you know the the the the the backup tackle right they put him in a position where he has to specifically it's in a situation execute they always do it right and that's not just on offense and defense it's sometimes on special teams you know and so if you if you if you pay attention to the details it's amazing what happens in you know as much as I bristled with Tom Coughlin dates your body right yeah right because I'm the fourth best word I can find bristled with Tom Coughlin his details other reason that he was such a great coach like the details matter and in coaches that are caught up with the nonsense got there for you know they've they've had their head stuck in the been the place she'd like I wanted to call I don't wanna do here to force you to go over like if you if you focus on the details good things in generally happening in if I'm looking for co ever looking for coach that's what I want tell me about the details of how you handling those because that's that's what wins and loses football games okay eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six tickets you're here on the family get a break we'll come back we'll get some more calls will start to look at jets are up in a couple of spots you're still some good receivers obviously and you know if your is because I. S. style this color is bright you know what's a realistic expectation for the giants later I thought he was under selling a little bit and again within reason I think the giants are probably step ahead of the jets right now but at least what we're we're getting out of the weeds man like there's nothing more depressing than having no shot and at least you know it seems like for the first time in a couple years specialties offense of linemen pan out for both teams the jets and the giants or or slowly trudging in the right direction so get more calls eight seven seven three three seven sixty six sixty six on a.

"March. Twenty seven as we wrap up another week with the of free agency and another week of of the off season in the NFL. A few minor signings to talk about for the giants this week at a couple of of players. They added wide receiver. Kick returner Corey Coleman. They added running back. Dion Lewis giants also added. Xfl cornerback driven S. Q Henry who happens to be a cousin of derail rebus. Just you know minor signings. This is what you get into at this point in free agency Guys who who might have a role guys who could be useful guys who Who provide depth in various places? I was glad to see the giants bring back. Korey Coleman kick returner wide receiver at this point. I'm not sure what Coleman will bring the giants as a wide receiver in A. He's been a little bit hit and miss throughout his career. A bit of a disappointment as the fifteenth overall pick of the Cleveland browns. A few years back. But Coleman is still a guy who provides a lot of speed you know some playmaking ability. He's a guy who did a really really good job in two thousand eighteen for the giants as a kick returner in. That's a rule where or spot where the giants did kind of struggle last year. They went through a lot of guys. Corey Ballantyne did a good job for a little while than the giants moved on from him. You know when they started to use more defensively cody. Latimer is a guy who had some opportunities latimer now with the Washington redskins but kick return even punt return where Coleman was was maybe going to get some opportunities late in the season in two thousand eighteen. Those are areas where the giants have really struggled to find one guy who could hold down those roles the last the last few seasons. Maybe Coleman Kin Can establish himself as the giants. Primary Return. Man. Maybe he can add some some playmaking ability with his speed. You know as a as a fourth or fifth wide receiver you have to have depth. You have to have you know guys who can fill specific roles for you and maybe Coleman can do that for the giants. He still a guy with a lot of athleticism speed so. I was happy to see him. You know get an opportunity to come back and show Whether or not he can help the giants in the twenty twenty season Dion Lewis. Obviously a guy very familiar to head coach. Joe Judge you know from their days together with the New England patriots. Little bit older at this point. I believe this will be Lewis's age thirty season coming up. Maybe not the explosive player that he used to be still though a useful. Backup for SAQUON. Barkley guy who can catch passes a guy who can block pass protect if you check out the the film study that Nick Balado did for us on Lewis you see examples of his ability to pass protect you see examples of how useful he can be you know as a as a as a receiving threat so check that out if you haven't but again a useful signing it's been kind of obvious for a while that the giants have been down on wing Goldman. The Pat Shurmur coaching staff was down on. Golman I'm not really sure why but it seemed like they never really gave him. You know a full a full fledged opportunity and it would appear with the signing of Louis. It would appear that that goal man is is not going to be a guy that That The new Joe Judge Coaching Staff is going to lean on heavily either so hopefully the Louis signing which was for one year on which you know that's a good idea just a short contract not an expensive one give. Barkley some some rest and support in an ad to the giants ability to pass protect for Daniel Jones in critical situations. That's something where we're saquon. Barkley as great a player as he is that something where he struggled last year so maybe in certain situations Lewis can help in that area. The signing cornerback D- Raven. Askew Henry I really don't know anything about him again or on Nick. Faldo did a film study that that dropped on Thursday morning. Police check that out guy who has some ability to play in the slot guy who has maybe some ability to play deep safety. He's done both of those things in the past guy who should compete in the in the slot for the giants. You know a spot where we know that. They struggled mightily a year ago with with grant. Haley who's a terrific run-defender a guy who struggles in coverage inquiry ballantyne playing there as a rookie guy? Who probably is a better outside corner guy who had never played in the slot and often looked overmatched. I'd love to see the giants. Actually Give Corey Ballantyne an opportunity to get back out on the outside in in compete for some time there maybe as an extra defensive back in some situations maybe as the as the third corner you know. Come to compete. Maybe with Sam Bill you know for you know for time behind James bradberry and De'andre Baker. Who will be your your likely starters on the outside for the giants are a giants fans. You know we know that As the giants have tried to build their defense through free agency a couple of the players that they signed came from the Green Bay packers. That would be inside linebacker. Blake Martinez an edge. Rusher cuyler fat girl ahead an opportunity to speak with Evan Western of SP nations acne packing company about what both of those guys might bring to the New York giants so let me play that interview for you now in as we try to learn some things about two of the newest giants giants fans. I'm joined now by Evan. Western of SB nations acme packing company. Which covers the the Green Bay packers? And I asked Evan to to come on to talk about a couple of the the free agents that the giants Recently signed meaning Linebacker Blake Martinez and edged defender. Cuyler factual Evan. Thank you very much for spending some time. Yeah my pleasure had said it was good hanging out with you. A little bit of Indian Always happy to talk current and former packers. There you go. You know it's interesting I think you and I. In a couple of other espy nation. Folks were in Indian and weirdly working in this great big ballroom and I didn't. I didn't get to meet everybody but it was nice to it was nice to to run into you and and get to to meet another Espy nation writer. Yeah same here that's The networking piece of that event is always one of the best best parts of it. So it's always a good time to get to know other people around the network. We we work in one of those weird weird environments where it's all Internet based in in we know all the names but we don't know the faces so so it's always nice to put a name to a face definitely all right so let's talk a little bit A little bit about The the free agents that that the giants signed former packers in an first. Let's talk a little bit about Martinez. Giants fans were are have been looking for linebacker help. They've been begging for linebacker help for years. It's been thirty some years now since the giants have drafted a linebacker in the first round. The last one was Carl banks and I think that was nineteen eighty. Three or eighty four. So it's been a long long time you know and the giants have tried some free agents over the years hit and miss. What are they getting in Blake Martinez? I know they're getting a guy with a lot of tackles but is he an impact defender or are the tackles sort of Sort of a misleading number. Yes Martinez what you have is a guy who he will clean up if the line in front of him does a good job keeping him clean. That's his best years in his best games in Green Bay. Have Been When Kenny Clark Mike Daniels and some of those bigger guys up front have been occupying the blockers and allowing him to floated the football. He's a fairly instinctive guy especially in the run game. He does seem to to read blocks well. to to to read to the ball carrier but he does struggle a little bit shedding blocks and with some of his low. F- lettuce in pass protection. But you're getting a guy who yeah he's GonNa make A Lotta sure tackles. He's not going to blow a lot of tackles And and he's got some pretty good blitzing ability as well if that's something that the giants plan to use him for his he's got some some real good abilities as an interior blitzer coming off the gap. But I think the biggest area where you've got to worry about him a little bit pass coverage because that's been one of the the spots where he's been picked on the last couple of years so is he terrible past defender an adequate past defender. Where what would you say you know? His his ability level is in pass coverage. I would put him somewhere in the below average category His numbers this past year weren't weren't great He he tends to not make a whole lot of plays on the football but when he does Get Out in pass coverage. He's at least stopping guys for relatively short gains but You get him matched up against an athletic tight end of a really athletic pass catching running back. We see them against like the likes of Christian. Mccaffrey last couple of years on delve and cook. Those are the match ups where he's really gonNA struggle is against those real athletic guys But but yeah I would say somewhere in that below average category. He's not gonNA absolutely kill year defense with With that ability the packers still kept him on the field for all three downs. Played almost every. Snap the last three plus years But it's not going to be something that's going to be a net. Positive is having him out there in pass coverage and as I as I listened to you say that I can just I? I'm envisioning giants. Fans you know gnashing their teeth and going crazy and screaming about Dave settlements signing another inside linebacker. Who can't you know cover anybody and just want to remind people blake? Martinez is replacing allegory. Who not only couldn't cover anybody. But was the guy calling the giants defensive signals and couldn't even himself lined up right half the time so so it's gotTa be a net gain. Yay and and I will say this for Blake. He's a very intelligent guy and he did the same thing he called the signals for my patents. Defense in Green Bay and that's definitely an area the communication aspect where it should be a positive He understands the the schemes he will understand What everybody's supposed to be doing on a given play Stanford Educated Guy. He's he's very intelligent. That shouldn't be an issue You know what he does when he's on the field. That's you know once the ball is snapped. That may be a different story. But at least in terms of the communication aspect and getting people lined up I would have no qualms about that whatsoever with him and are we looking at a guy you know if you look at some of the advanced analytics. I think it was sports info solutions that posted this number that I saw recently about the fact that that his tackles are often made. You know something like five yards. Beyond the line of scrimmage which isn't ideal obviously you know for for an inside linebacker. Is that something? We should be concerned about. Is that something? That's that's been impacted. More by what happens in front of him you know or is he really what we would call cleanup tackler. Yeah I think. A big part of that has been the packers. Just General Defensive Philosophy. Is they play light. They always play light to sometimes. One down lineman usually five or six defensive backs on basically every play their base defense last year was effectively a two three six with a hybrid safety playing linebacker At the other inside linebacker spot as well as a slot corner so the lion has has been light Ever since Patten arrived for the start of two thousand eighteen and I think that's at least partially responsible. I think if you if you are in a philosophy that puts more of a a priority on stopping the run and allowing Allowing your line to to occupy blockers and letting your linebackers floated the football unimpeded. I think he's going to be better in that type of system. Well that's good news because the giants do spend a lot of a lot of capital you know obviously with signing with having Leonard Williams on the franchise tag and using a first round pick on Dexter Lawrence a year ago. They spent a lot of capital on that on that Down Linemen Group. So so hopefully they can provide. Martinez a little better cover. That would definitely be a positive for him. Is playing behind a very solid defensive line for sure country. Crock is now making a dairy free plant based butter. That actually tastes like dairy butter. These new plant butter sticks cook and bake just like dairy butter too. Like you can definitely use it for all your stress speaking needs plus the production of country. Crock plant butter results.

"Giants not the most attractive moves but still filling needs and also not the biggest name players currently on the market but still like I said filling needs. Giants have in making moves to improve the current roster. Now there's still plenty of other guys out there. We'll talk about some of the names that have already been taken off the board by other teams but the first signing that we saw extremely early in the morning on Tuesday was Blake Martinez a linebacker from the Green Bay packers and also played at Stanford is signing with the New York giants on a three year. Thirty million dollar deal. The twenty six year old has five hundred. Twelve career tackles and in last season. He had his best statistical year with one. Hundred fifty. Five tackles and five tackles for loss so not the biggest name that we discussed in terms of available linebackers Chris but still filling a need and getting a talented guy to step in and play in the middle of this defense after cutting Alec Odal Tree. Yeah definitely I'm the addition of Martinez or it is Martinez Right. It's not martinus. I would assume so I think so. We'll go with Martinez. We'll go with Martinez his edition. It does make me wonder a little bit. What the Giants Defensive Defensive Scheme is going to going to look like from everything? I've been able to find out about him. He's a very smart player. A very good communicator. Doesn't have the greatest range and the packers defensive scheme was really the set up to funnel tackles to him. Just funnel plays into the middle where he could really clean up and make those tackles which is part of the reason why he has such high tackle numbers. It's similar to why. Aj Hawk had been had big tackle numbers when he was the packers. Middle Linebacker so I do wonder if the giant might not be set up somewhat similarly. F- y'All Patrick. Graham was the packers linebackers coach two years ago so it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see it at least some similar concepts in use. I have confirmed it is pronounced Blake. Martinez found a video of Peter. Schrager saying Martinez. But he was you. He was used to a productive extent in Green Bay. And we do see a bit of success in the middle for these linebackers for the packers for an extended period of time not dot particularly talking about the regime on under Matt Leflore just because he's only been there for a year but with Mike McCarthy like you said. Aj Hawk net also Blake Martinez. And then also you can talk about Clay Matthews as you transitioned from me. A pass rusher to more of a linebacker. They've developed linebackers. Well and Martinez did look very good at times in his four year career with the packers very consistent and one of the things that I've seen written up on him is that he has all the tools to be a real superstar at the linebacker position but is just a hair inconsistent at various things. He tends to rack up. A lot of missed tackles. He's not super consistent in coverage. But it's a matter of what we going back to what you hear from. Joe Judge taking the strengths of guys and using it to your advantage. Well if you have a guy that is consistent reads well and plays good in the middle of your defense than he can. Elevate the rest of the guys around you as long as you don't force him to do things that he's not super comfortable with that kind of I think might lead us towards maybe filling in some of the holes around him because the giants really do have to build a linebacking core from scratch right now they pretty much just have Martinez Ryan. Conley is coming back injury. Were not sure really what he is. We didn't get to see much of him right now. We don't really know if Lorenzo Carter is going to be an edge in this new defense or if he might be an off ball linebacker. We don't know really what role. Jinro peppers will play so it is possible. The giants could be looking to move one of those guys to a linebacker or maybe getting a smart communicator of a downhill. Thumper maybe your wish will come true. And they'll be. They're starting to look seriously at Simmons. Hopefully they they do trained in that direction but like you said right now. The linebacker position group is Really Ryan Connolly and David Mayo. Who they resigned. Maybe they decide to go with Isaiah Simmons at that pick but if you think about it right now they might be leaning a little bit more towards taking offense Lineman just in terms of need and also available talent because right now they have not signed any offensive linemen and they're all flying off the shelves pretty much completely gone. Not everyone is gone but a lot of guys have signed and left in all the bigger name offensive. Lineman have gone to other teams meaning. The giants have not done anything to make any improvements in that realm. We're GONNA talk about the second player that the giants signed on Day two. But before we get to that we're GONNA take a short commercial break. Hiring is difficult. You're for the just right candidate for your team's unique needs but knowing where to start the search can be challenging according to ziprecruiter research three out of four employers. Say they're having a hard time filling open positions..

"But that showing up in a big way matter to me last night the Packers play calling down near the red zones. Gonna call under come under fire, certainly Mike McCarthy's a guy that's easy to point out is the problem there when Aaron Rodgers is your quarterback. But Aaron Rodgers said there were plays left to be made out there. You've got enough talent across the board with the way. Devante Adams has now really elevated himself into that number one receiver conversation Aaron Jones at running back, the freer and Jones movements going to continue to go. And continue to be a part of this defensively for the Packers. You are stacked in the defensive backfield. Upfront net linebacker last night could be another blow and this is the part of the season. Now where health and attrition are going to matter because Blake Martinez the Packers starting linebacker left last night in a cart with an ankle injury. Waiting to hear update on that all things to pay attention to. But we got a preview of it's going to be a patriots team as usual factors in and a Packers team that while talented enough and with a quarterback that can win it for you on any given day doesn't seem to be stacking up that way. So we'll they join another unfortunate conversation that we're going to have to have in just a little bit here. Last podcast desk game pound for pound. We saw this weekend was ram saints. But for some reason yesterday did in a way that was both frustrating, but understandable, given the circumstances that will lay out you still look at the way that that game. "Time Montgomery's kickoff return fumble with two minutes to play cost. Green Bay the ball and the game. The Rams force the huge turnover held on for twenty nine twenty seven win at the calcium. A calcium packed with Cheeseheads. Los Angeles reaches the midpoint of its schedule at eight no west Rogers, David get his shot. This game was like a an EMMY award winning TV show at the height of its powers with all of the leading characters of the iconic characters nailing their parts Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams for the Packers. Clay Matthews and Blake Martinez on defense, Mike Daniels. And then they're rolling this whole game Todd Gurley. It feels like the Rams jumped on his back. He gave them a jolt Johnny Hecker, possibly the best punter in history gave them a huge jolt. Aaron Donald Ray guy. Sachs Robert woods can to make plays every week. This game was living up to it. And then as usual bones fossil special teams crew swings the game in its favor, and is the decisive. We didn't get our like Aaron Rodgers moment because of the ram special teams and because time Montgomery fumbled. With the game on line. It's on another star in this game of this drama that you're discussing was Mike Patton out of the gate. Yes. Who's defensive scheme? Absolutely was working Nadal the Rams on third down. Right. If you thought that you could get the Rams to open with five punts. You would like your chances with Aaron Rodgers your quarterback? They still wind up scoring twenty nine point. It's a it's a reminder how difficult it is to be the Rams because there's so many good things. We wanna talk about in this game. In terms of how they got pressure on Gough throws that Rogers made you look at the end of the game. And the Rams had it for seventy five plays in the Packers had it for fifty two. They had fifty or sixty more yards. Todd Gurley is the close. Later in the NFL. And this is not the first game. That Todd Gurley has helped to close out. Not just on the go ahead field goal drive. But after they get the ball back to to put the ball inside the five yard line and make sure there's no chance for Aaron Rodgers magic. He is the number one closer in the NFL along with that offensive line. And it's like you have to do everything. Perfect to beat them. Look at golf and like he he got hit today. What was it for Saks? If not more hit almost twenty times his final line is three hundred yards three touchdowns. No picks. It you just can't see on from the box score that anything here when anything but right for the Rams going back to west. And it was well put that it was a, you know, a TV show at the height of its powers Montgomery fumbling. That ball was like loving, you know, fifty minutes of an hour long episode, and then like the cable cuts it was the Seinfeld for now. I was gonna say what the Seinfeld finale, it was it was like we tuned in for this. Well, you had mentioned Louis where is time and Gumri in this game. And then he makes the biggest play he was out of the. Running back rotation and they still should be given the ball to Aaron Jones more often. But but there wasn't much money as the different example because the Seinfeld finale was completely clunky. So that would have been if the game really wasn't good. This is almost like the sopranos finale where everything else is building up nicely. And then right when it cuts at the diner to end, like wait, wait what else there's got four. You're expecting this amazing ending and it does a little bit. And this Sean McVeigh got the horseshoe within this season because I did not like his decision to run the ball and take the field goal to go ahead field goal as opposed to being aggressive in trying to win the game. Give basically you're asking your defense to stop Aaron Rodgers in those last two minutes, and I get that you respect your defense..

"You it is monday morning quarterback doug russell sitting in pristina the'dear side wayne larabee as always this whole season i mean i you look at it as the loss of aaron rogers for uh you know more than half of the year what are you take away from this season was it a wash just a loss because of that or whether other things that you can maybe build on certainly we talked about the defense and their struggles their um but what positives can you take away from this season while we started mentioned a couple of mind the offense of line a little bit and um i think that when you look at the defense of side of the football are some people who are starting to emerge kenny clark looks like he's going to be a force in the middle their defensive line i think dean lowery made some nice strides this year it is a guy who who again may not be a pro bowl kind of caliber player but a guy who can make place who has a great a nice football i queue on the field in knows what to do and how to get there and get it done tyler fachrul shoulder little bit at outside linebacker i'm not saying he's a targeted ird position next year by any means but bind no no don't call him of busted draft pick because i think this is a kid who has a little some good potential in him blake martinez emerged inside linebacker i think the idea it inside linebacker if you're gonna play a three four defense we don't know what is the future brings here but if you're gonna play three four defense blake martinez is a good guy to have on the field i think you need someone i'll with speed and you know more of a dynamic hitter next to him so you know you need a little more speed it inside linebacker and in that would be the thing to look for there and it quarterback i i think you know cabin king it we think he's going to be a standout cornerback hopefully they they get the shoulder situation corrected hopefully surgery will be able to do that i don't know.
