How We Can Support Ukraine Without Our Involvment

"Tell me, what do you make of this morning, the ors is on fire in a Ukraine port seized by Russia because it got hit by non anti ship missiles, the bombardment the Ukrainians. Why haven't we sent them anti ship missiles, Jim talent? You, we should be sending them whatever systems will help them in this conflict without worrying about whether we call them defensive or offensive. The blade line test should be, we are going to support the Ukrainians in this. We're not going to involve our own forces and so we should support the Ukrainians with whatever convinced of a weapons would be useful whether that's fighter aircraft or the rest of it. It's not escalatory. I've said from the beginning on this show and other shows, you don't want to climb the escalatory ladder with beauty, but you do that when you engage your own forces or NATO forces. Not when you support the Ukrainians.

Organized Retail Crime (MM #3863)

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. I've tucked on this before, but it's getting worse and worse from what I understand. Organized retail crime is on the big time uprise. In fact, Walgreens has announced they're going to close some stores in San Francisco because the crime has gotten so bad. The biggest problem of course we have number one, staffing issues. Two, with business being up and down, they don't staff them well enough when they do have the people. So number three that makes it a good time for people who are organized in their crime to come in and just start stealing things. I've seen this happen throughout the years at Walmart's where organized crime rings come in and start stealing stuff just grabbing stuff off the racks and running out the door. Now sure a lot of the drugs are locked up behind the counter, the razor blade isles, they're locked up too, but that doesn't stop people. Because what they're doing is stealing the goods and either selling it on places like Facebook marketplace or selling it on eBay or even opening up Amazon stores and reselling those kinds of things, and right now with the economy right now with the disparity that's going on in our world. We're told it could get worse for both retail and for the retail public, and that's scary.

Building a Seven-Figure Real Estate Business Using Other People's Money

"Something to share that you believe about becoming successful that most people disagree with yes. What's up fire nation. So when it comes to real estate and entrepreneurship people think that you always have to work hard to accomplish your goals and your dreams. The reality is you gotta work smart. You gotta be able to delegate and and make sure that you are sharpening the saw and just be very efficient with your with your habits. Yeah what was that. Abraham lincoln quote that if he had an hour to cut down a tree he's been the i fifty five minutes sharpening the blade so thick above that fire nation. You're going through your process ends. As i mentioned in the introduction we have both kierra in khalil on the mike today. We're gonna be talking all about building a seven figure real estate business using other people's money so before you turned thirty you had a seven figure business. You owned an entire city block and baltimore. I mean how the heck does this even happen. I barely have my driver's license at thirty. Yeah i mean it was really when we were about a year out of college. We really trying to figure out what this whole thing was gonna look like. It was around the time period when we were talking about there not being enough funds for social security in people taking about their pensions or started. Put money in retirement funds our full-time jobs and we realized that this was not probably going to be it for us and that we really needed to figure out how to take the reins on what our future was going to look. Like and real estate became that space or we decided to get really focused and intentional about building our portfolio there for that long term flow being able to that appreciation but also be able to impact the community in the neighborhoods in which we are investing And so you know. We didn't have a trust fund. We weren't legacy you know real estate developers but really Decided to work smart and be intentional about how he's been our time to be able to build that portfolio

The Dixie Fire Continues to Rage

"The Dixie Fire continues to rage. It's now the largest single wildfire in California history and has burned more than 505,000 acres. Is still threatening at least a dozen small communities. It's destroyed 1000 buildings, many of them homes, Cal Fire chief Tom Porter says almost a month after the fire broke out, there are new challenges on the horizon. The concern we have going into the next few days is another bout of monsoonal moisture coming up through Southern California. Turning into dry lightning potentially through this area and all the way to the north coast of California and then into Oregon, Washington as well, Porter says. The conditions are so dry that a single blade of grass can be a mission point. After 29 days, battling the Dixie Fire Containment stands at just 30%. With thousands of firefighters fighting blazes in California officials have decided to close down the Trinity Alps Wilderness area until November. That's a popular vacation spot with more than half a million acres of granite peaks lakes and trails. In a statement, Forestry officials say they can't spare the aircraft and personnel needed to track down lost or endangered hikers. They also hope the move will help prevent new fires from igniting in

"Or that's the one that did something with alien because I know Independence Day. Because in alien, they had like an x-ray of the facehugger as it was on, and they were trying to figure out the physiology. Physiology. Well, that's right. They tried to do that. And because the face of it, it falls off after it dies, right? And so they try to cut into it in the acid spray spurts out and they're like JK LOL, we'll wait. And also Ron Perlman, tie in to the alien universe. Yeah, we're resurrection. Resurrection. Yeah. Somewhere in there. It's all that in the theater. Oh, my performance is. Yeah. It was rough. I did not see alien three in the theater. Which I love the first two alien movies. I thought they were great. Yeah. Yeah. I love the whole series. I mean, I'll be honest. Yeah, resurrection's not bad either. I think I like resurrection better than three, actually. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah. But anyway. Blade two is good. Yeah. You liked it. Yeah, it was fun. Yeah, it was. It slaps. Yeah. It aged well for a movie from 2002. It was a definite upgraded with previous movie that we watched. One of the rare examples that's just as good if not better than the original. Exactly. And this came out right around the same time as Spider-Man, too, right? Yeah. Spider-Man won. Yeah, it's better man. Spider-Man one can spot 2000. Four. And Spider-Man two was the biggest splash box office wise, right? Up there. That was like, that was the peak of the pre marvel comic book movies. Yeah. For sure. Blade, hellboy, they were just kind of playing around on the kiddie pool. Spider-Man, too, made it happen. Yeah. I think that that was really the motivation for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. So here's a tough question. Spider-Man to the best Spider-Man movie so far. No. I don't think so. No, I still think the first Tobey Maguire. That one slapped. Is the best. Because it's the introduction. Two is great because you keep moving on and you've got a better villain in my mind. I'm biased. I love Doc octopus. I'll see you. A great actor playing him again. Perfect actor. Yeah. So okay, so Sean, if it's not that, what do you think is the best banner movie?.

"That where they're going down there and then when they're in the sewers. So what is the timing of this movie with the second matrix movie where they also had the same goth dance clubs in the next year, I think was one major reload would come out in 2003. Yeah, because it was like two in one year. Basically. Pretty close. Was that just granted, I was 12 in 2002, was that? Not everyone was doing in those days was just going to take pretty much. There's a good chance every night you'd find me in a rave. On a weather leather. That was big. Trap music. And there were, again, they were like, two shots in blade two that I thought were really great. There was the one where blade is talking, well, the shot itself wasn't hard. Blade. But he's all the reapers are going to attack him in the water and he throws the light grenade basically. He was like, yo, do not know who you're fucking with. But he's got the he puts the blade underneath the water, his sword. And you see all the other ones getting ready to jump up. I thought that was good, but one greatest shot they used in the trailer was the super old vampire damaskinos, like going into the into the club. I was like, I was like, oh, that's a beautiful shot. Can I just say how disappointed I am in mosquitos? Never showing off his power, never being cool. He was just old, the entire time. Fucking sucked. The coolest thing about him is that he had blue blood. He was literally a blue blood. It was cool because he was just like old and showed off that he was old and he's like, I am the only vampire. I'm going to follow what I do. Halfway through that accent. Thank you. These don't lose that accent. If these Reaper empires are only killing other vampires and then they die off pretty quickly. I don't know why blade wouldn't like this. And then just pieced out and let them kill all of vampires and then slowly start. I mean, I guess I would have turned to humans. So, I mean, plot twist because spoilers, it was his son, the entire time. It was damaskinos son. Yeah. How did his daughter not realize like, oh man, where did my brother go? Yeah. She just like, it wasn't his brother brother. He had used his own stuff and then like grown this guy, right? Wouldn't he one of the embryos? I was unclear on that. It seemed like he was a pure blood that they were trying to. I don't know. Yeah. There wasn't enough seem like he hadn't been around for a little bit more exposition about the origins of the math. The reapers. That was Luke goss's character in Maine Reaper. I thought no Mac was his name in. Hellboy. Hellboy too. No, that was a new auto. Oh, you're right. But no Mac is a good Sean Connery, he's like, no mark. You're finished here. It was actually from The Rock. Wow man. The last thing I want to say, I don't know how much time we have left. I really need us to sit and talk about Ron Perlman real quick. Because the villains in this, obviously, the main vampire doing, you know, you ever share about Luke gosh. Main villain. And he had like, you know, he had his reasons. They want to give the villain a actual reason for being a villain. But I loved the, you know, you have your.

"As I know, because this was back when you would also watch DVD commentary on films and I watched the commentary. And Guillermo del Toro wanted the crazy Reaper vampires because recently interview with the vampire had come out. He was like, well, you know, I wanted to make something vampire scary that weren't like Brad Pitt when I was like yeah, this was the first coming era of vampire. And GDT love him. He was English is not his first language, but he was like, if Brad Pitt's coming to suck you, you're not scared, but if these things are going to suck you, and then like you're afraid. You're like, oh, this is maybe not a good idea. But yeah, it threatened me with a good time. I caught some parallels to hellboy, or at least Guillermo del Toro's work on both hellboy films or lead characters kind of an anti hero kind of anti authority, but also he has some greater destiny of hellboy, you know, he's like the son of the devil. You know, blade is like the hybrid son of a vampire in human who may have the key to whatever his blood may be set off the vampire war, his blood may grant some sort of immortality or his blood, it's like he himself is almost like a macguffin in of himself. And there were two scenes in the film and that reminded me a lot of hellboy, obviously. But there were I can't remember the first one, but I think the second one is when you have all of the vampire hunters and they split up and it's very quiet and you're seeing a little vignettes of like what's happening to the others. Whistler is getting attacked by Ron Perlman and the dude, the other actor, he was in the first fast and the furious. How nice to see that he got killed in the first movie..

"I think you would fit in very well with the defenders, daredevil, like street level New York kind of a thing. Blade, yeah. Here's what always happens. He has a team up with some shows up in Spider-Man. And he's like, yeah, I'm fighting these vampires. And then for some reason, Spider-Man's like, what vampires vampires don't exist. It's ridiculous. Yeah. He's like, no, they totally are. You got bit by a radioactive spike. So sometimes sometimes they go that route and sometimes they're like, you know, no, you can't kill somebody that's wrong, and he's like, they're dead. They're undead. Yeah. He does work well, I think he joined The Avengers, man. I've been out of pocket with keeping current with comics for quite a while. But yeah, he's mainly street level with a street level heroes like heroes for hire. Iron fist, daredevil, Luke cage, all those bad boys. He's a little higher than that, though, just because he's got he's all the vampire powers and weaknesses. Now he doesn't have he can't like, as far as I know, unless they've changed it. He can't shape change. You can't turn it into mist or a bat or a wolf, and I don't think he can hypnotize people, but he has all the main physical powers. But he's resistant to vampires hypnotizing him. Yeah. Exactly. That's a good power to have. Opinion. Oh, for blade too? Yeah. This movie was this, was this, I don't know, man, Travis. I think this was just because I always wanted to watch it again. Yeah. And I was looking forward to it. I really was. Yeah. I mean, I will say this and I'm going to totally put Travis on the spot here. This was during my vampire phase. So Travis and I were roommates in college. "On the show. It's like good lord, you are crusty. His limp that makes no sense. Honestly, I still love it, though. It's so confused about what happened to his character. I'll go ahead and apologize here because I'm going to get like blade two and blade Trinity mixed up because I know I watched blade Trinity right after. So I'm going to start talking about stuff. And it's not going to be wrong. I really want to talk about Parker posey, but it's not happening. One thing I have in my notes, watch this movie was this movie attended the die hard school of one liners. And I think that's why I like it so much. You don't know who you're fucking with. Yeah. And also, do you blush? Same ride or bits off or Batman V Superman of do you bleed? Yeah. It's like, well, they should have retired that one. Yeah. And then I also have here was blaze and mother named Martha. That's something to think about. Marathon. The deltoid left that's running so I had to direct hellboy like we said. Blade Trinity was a very troubled production. It's not snipes erratic behavior, including clashes with classmates castmates and the director brought the strong series to a sour conclusion. On the third set, not the second. With apparently, and it was just in the news recently again, that allegedly allegedly. Grabbed the director rider, David esquire around the throat. Oh, yeah, no problem. And then was also in panels while ten fucking years ago did I interview about how the problems between the director and Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel were like, man, he really does not like because he felt he was being written out at that point. They were bringing on a new young crowd and he's like, hey, I'm the franchise star and he's like, Bruce Willis and being hard. Well, wasn't exactly the classic scene where it was like, it was kind of an insane amount of looks over and it's like, he hates me, doesn't he? Yeah. But they left it in the film because it was like, it was true, but it was the scene was over. And he was like, he just hates me dead. Yeah. That's what I've heard. Yeah, but I can not confirm or deny. And I have here that the franchise writes have returned to marvel. They returned about ten years ago, I guess tomorrow. I think it was right around the same time that the daredevil Netflix series started..

"All three blade films are written by David S goyer, who also wrote in dark city. All of The Dark Knight trilogy, or at least he co wrote The Dark Knight trilogy for Nolan. And several of the recent DCEU movies like Batman V Superman and Man of Steel. Yeah. So let's you know that his shit don't always don't stink. Interesting. That was in a circle back. I approve of that. That was too deep. Travis should be Rhett. So in this film, blade teams up with the vampires to take out an even more dangerous threat than in the first film. There's some kind of hybrid mutant vampire that feeds on vampires and turns them evil, which we will refer to as the reapers. The vampire. Travis really enjoys it. I kind of thought they were kind of zombie type creatures, but they also kind of resemble was it then? From Game of Thrones? Is that what they were called? The bold. Oh, yeah, the candles. Yeah. Things. A little bit, but a playoff of nosferatu. Like 1921, 1922, when played by the silent movie, no, by shit, max Shrek. Yes. Ironically, that was his name. And huh, what Schneider directed it? I can't remember FW Schneider. Fuck, I can't remember anyway. I should know that. They couldn't after Dracula was turned into a play. They wanted to make a movie, but they couldn't get the rights to the Dracula name. So they just called homeboy count orlock and basically made a silent film like that. And then it was the widow of Bram Stoker, sued them, and then I guess they couldn't keep the prince, but it's been it's basically free kind of like the night of living dead. So you can find it somewhere on black and white. And it's called just nosferatu. So that's what these reapers are super kind of weird, rat like funky teeth called and pointy ears..

I just took Travis's balls deep in it, but let's see. I'm sorry, guys. I'll be honest. I was captivated by the tasting notes of this one. This is a new one. I approve. Yeah. I like it. Yeah. What notes you got for me? What are you doing? What are you doing? We are drinking horses here and it's kind of a Pinot which tasting. It's kind of easy drinking. Light bodied medium bodied fruity redland. The label is very sexy. Yeah. And I would say it's called horseshoes and hangings because it's a blend that they just throw a bunch of stuff into. Definitely sounds like a yeah. And it's like, I like that. Yeah. And like a lot of blends is kind of designed to be crowd pleasing. Unfortunately these two sons murdered and these two fathers who will never accepting of their son's sexuality decided to investigate the crime when be lease investigation stalls and in doing so they are trying to achieve thinned for their sons but also i think trying to get redemption for themselves in the ways. They weren't there for their children in life. They're attempting to be there for them in death. Let's talk a little bit more specifically about those two anti hero. Heroes you've got buddy lee jenkins and slash riot randolph. Who are they. They are men of certain age that come with a certain amount of baggage. Because of that age they are both hard scrabble. Southern men who are more alike in have more in common than either one of them could imagine but they're also meant that i think are internally broken in a way that precluded him being able to communicate their sons and i think hinder their relationship with their children and also hinders relationships with other people. I for all his self possessed. Gravitas is still battling with his temper at moments with buddy lee. He's kind of mired himself. This sort of self imposed existential exile from the rest of humanity and so when their sons is sort of snaps amount of this spiritual me ease that they put themselves into the giving to their darker impulses but for a greater good.

New Nintendo Switch Comes With OLED Screen

"Nintendo fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a new more powerful version of the nintendo switch Strike me down. I will become a more powerful switch and death. See there in the sand where there's only one and that is when nintendo carried the switch The nintendo has announced is the switch lead or the nintendo. What is it do. What does it do. What does it do what it does bondo. I don't know anything about it. Yeah investing it. I actually we creamy color though. Yeah it's it's it seems a little off car because it was like white the images i saw today maybe no. I think you're right. Egg white white eggshell. I appreciated that. You said the word in spanish and then looked me in the eyes for approval. Like yes right. Let's color that's fun. Yeah it's it's not what people thought it would be is why it's being talked about. It's also nintendo announced a new iteration of its console like that's news worthy of its own merit but also for years people myself among them have reported on the rumblings of a switch. Pro with four ks. That's better than three. It's one more than you want for four. But that's not what happened. It's not funny. That any odd number of ks people get upset about well. Threes a strikeout threes. Threes strikeout and terribles blade on this country's history. That's right beyond its history. Let's say it's presently k. Acceptable response to. Somebody sent you right attack. Somebody puts k. Fuck you fuck you you. Can we talk about the lead yes. The best named console has fourcade. It doesn't even have one. Like when i saw this morning that it might be ten eighty but no it is a seven inch seven. Twenty p led desbois comes as it comes in three k. color If folks are are new to the lead concept that's a basically the black of the screen the pixels don't light up at all so you don't get that deep backlit black. A lot of funds have had ad for some time now and it gives you like a crisper overall better image and people. Some are complaining that has the same battery as the old one which is too low but it's lighting up less pixel so but also it's bigger so the trade off might be

Don't Call Leah Judson a Photographer

"What's the elevator pitch for. Lia when you're blading to people who you are and what you do well i think i think the biggest thing is and something that i've kind of over the past couple of years when defining myself ask for photography is not my superpower and i think that was something that took me a while to actually break. I think might be scary. Maybe for some people to sit like to claim that for themselves because my photography. I always wanted to go beyond just taking a picture of someone and moving on. I want there to be that intimacy that connection that just this continuation in this feeling of infinity for bat relationship with that person and i noticed that yeah. I can continue and get stronger as a photographer or in this new in this new upcoming year. Be a filmmaker for this project. That i'm putting together but in the end i think something that makes me feel really unique and can kind of stand out in the creators. World is my ability to really build relationships with people beyond just having them set for me and take a photo. So i think when i think about the work that i'm doing it really i don't know just i feel like i wanna be more than just a photographer and i find that photography sometimes can trap me in the spots. Make me feel like oh my work can never been more important than the image right and that it's so refreshing that you say that because i believe exactly the same thing and i the it's it's trapping yourself and limiting yourself in a lot of ways to say that i'm a photographer of russia's that may sound to say that i am a photographer because in the end you're not just a photographer that's like saying i'm a person that uses a hammer right when in reality you're you build houses or you do other things but the hammer is the tool to to tell or the in this case. The camera is the tool to tell stories. So you're you're essentially a storyteller or you know that kind of thing but then like you're saying you're also a psychologist

Door to the border come up last night. Either very interesting but six trillion dollars and that's just the down payment climate change. I think jobs american jobs plan put engineers and construction workers work building more energy efficient buildings and homes there simply no reason why the blades for wind turbines can't be building pittsburghers beijing. There's no reason. Why american workers can't league the world new production of electric vehicles in batters. There's no reason. How do we pay for my and family plan. I made it clear you do without increasing the deficit. Let's start with what. I will not to impose any tax increase on people making less than four hundred thousand dollars. But it's time for corporate america and the wealthiest one percent of americans have just began to pay their fair share. Mr share but wall street country. The middle class built the country and unions built the middle class. So that's why. I'm calling on congress to pass. Protect the right to organize the proactive. And send it to my desk so we can support the right to unionize and by the way you're thinking about sending things on my desk. Let's raise the minimum wage to fifteen dollars. No one no one working forty hours a week working forty hours a week should live below the poverty line. We need to ensure greater inequity opportunity for women while we're doing this. So mvp is twelve member counties that basically represent municipal electric Users that we basically get together both to generate our own electricity for all communities or to purchase it off the grid depending on the pricing of one. Electric has a give time. What are you trying to accomplish. So basically our goal is -ccomplish having a very reasonable electric creates our goal is to have power that's cheaper than xl energy As investor owned utility. How is it going deeper. Yep it's going very well. We're on a residential level. We ten in chaska to be about eight to nine percent lower than xl energy. These swishing blades above us help adults and their pocketbooks and offer a learning opportunity for students. Amy feet teaches. Fourth graders at saint. John's lutheran school in chaska. She leads her students on field trips to see renewables action. It's a great opportunity for students to think about how they use energy on a daily basis. We think about what are some ways that maybe we could cut some of our energy use and maybe not us quite as much energy. Our we may be wasting energy. We talk about how our use of energy affects the planet and all the people around us as well and then we also when we get to favorable energy park We they put us through. Maybe we'll ride a bike and we'll try to power entire home and how hard that is when we have lots of different things on in our home versus when we have maybe one thing on or two things on We'll go to a different station where we look at the solar panel. We'll go to a different station where we look at the wind turbine We'll talk about how we use non-renewable energy and also renewable energy the differences in those and how they actually affect us and how they actually affect the world around

"Crystals hit warm aircraft engines the crystals start to melt and evaporate cooling the engine core surfaces to temperatures below freezing as the melted ice crystals then re freeze. Ice accumulates inside the engine core which can cause temporary power loss stalls flameouts or engine blade damage current weather radar easily detects rain or hail so pilots can take steps to avoid those conditions but identifying smaller ice crystals in the atmosphere can be more difficult understanding ice water. Content conditions can improve flight safety so the federal aviation administration is working with nasa and other government and industry partners to gather data about this unusual phenomenon. The faa will distribute this information to pilots can recognize conditions likely to cause icing and take action to mitigate effects making air travel safer winter spring summer and fall

The Army Is Expanding Allowed Hairstyles For Women

"For years, Most women in the U. S Army were required to wear their hair short or pinned back into a very tight bond that time has now passed. Earlier This year, the Army began allowing women who spent most of their day away from the field freedom from the bun. And this month, the army updated that changed to allow female soldiers. A little more freedom. I actually started Tolo practice braiding my hair because I was so excited that we were going to be able to braid our hair and wear ponytails that Sergeant Nickel Pierce, who works at Fort Sill in Oklahoma, she's been able to wear braids and ponytails since January, and now she's able to wear them untucked so long as they don't go past her shoulder blades, thanks to the update to the updated grooming policy. Major Terry Taylor, stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia has enjoyed not having to chemically relaxed her hair because locks, braids, twists and cornrows can come together in one or two braids or a ponytail and still meet regulation with lax. There is a style called barrel rolls. And which are hair can be rolled back. Taylor usually pins up the ends, but now she can leave them free if she wants very professional and appearance very neat. And it's very user friendly because that style can last at least two weeks, so that allows me to not have to manipulate my hair is much no loose ends from Major Farren Um, A Campbell in Silver Spring. Maryland. Yes, so in the Army on pretty much known as the bald major within my unit on the only bold female she suffered hair damage and loss after years, wearing her hair in a tight bun. And she's not alone. Many black women soldiers reported having that experience Major Campbell says she's happy. The U. S Army allows her to be bald by choice and do shave my head and it's been a very freeing change within a regulation. It's not just comfort here. Thick hair buns make it difficult for women to wear their helmets properly, making it low on the eyes, sometimes obscuring vision. Ah, problem when you have to aim your weapon. We've all mentioned. Some of these things were long overdue that Sergeant Major Jennifer Francis of the U. S. Army Institute for Surgical Research at Fort Sam in Houston, Texas, She was on the panel that gave input to leadership about updating the grooming guidelines. We are an army and we can't necessarily do everything civilians are doing so we've got to figure out what's best for the Army. And its people. Women now make up about 15% of the U. S. Army, and about a third of those are black. Many see rules against certain hairstyles as outdated at best discriminatory at worst. Major Terry Taylor, now set to retire after two decades of service says how a soldier wears her hair when she's on base does not change her leaf aladi or her professionalism. Who's to say that a ponytail is not professional in appearance? Who's to say the locks are not professional in appearance as long as you can, probably where your headgear and look professional in your uniforms. I think that's what matters at the end of the day. The army now joins the Navy, the air Force and Space Force Yes, Space force when it comes to allowing loose

"Street roller blading roller blading has gone away from the X Games. Most of skateboarding has gone away. It's now kind of all about motor sports and then winner on like high and vert half pipe stuffer skateboarding, so the X Games has changed. But in the mid nineties, my cousin was considered one of the pioneers of aggressive in line skating. So we were at uneventful. Maybe the MTV Sports and Music Festival or Shaun White almost died. He was 10 years old. I was skating with Bob Burnquist on a half pipe. And they ran into each other. And Sean had to be taken out by ambulance. Not airlifted to taking out my ambulance and he was put on a stretcher. That was kind of scary moment. But one thing I remember is that the offspring played at it. And they made a point of telling the MTV producers that they didn't want any roller bladers skating to their songs. And I just thought that was I understand it. Skateboarding and roller blading had Whatever kind of rival recently like snowboarding and skiing at the time. I thought that was kind of a jerky thing, and I could come with more colorful language for the lead singer and the offspring to say that like This is MTV. If a kid wants to skate to your music to him, you know, perform better. Why? Why? I'd be a jerk about it so on it's not like Not the Beatles. You heard that you weren't doesn't change your life. I don't think maybe change some people's life. No, but I mean, I I am an offspring fan, but happy birthday. That guy. Yes, it's something stands to Hey when, when people, celebrities and musicians in particular Act like they're I mean, they are kind of above everyone else in the crowd because they are the talent and they're standing on the stage. But there's no there's no need to say something like that. Like what's it gonna hurt if a kid skating to your song while you're performing on stage? Had a similar experience with Modest mouse, a band I like last month, and I was at this concert a few years ago, and they were just complete jerks to all the people working around them, and I haven't been a fan of them ever since. Yeah, you'll hear stories like that. It's one thing to hear someone's a bit of a diva, and you kind of expect it from certain artists a certain level. But its toe What? What level does that manifest itself? If you hear that they're jerks. Everybody behind the scenes. Get the people have bad days. And so I often caution if you meet a celebrity meeting athlete Some guys are on all the time and we'll take pictures Sign right grass. Charles Barkley is one of those guys. I think John Elway and a lot of ways is one of those guys Peyton Manning talks about. Hey, you just signed autographs What you do, because that's what his dad did, right? Everywhere he went in New Orleans. His dad sign an autograph. Peyton's whole life. So when he got the Tennessee and certainly to the pros, you take pictures. You sign autographs. You know, Sir Charles always talks about Hey, if somebody wants 10 seconds of your time to take a picture. Or sign an autograph or talk to you. It's not going to ruin your weak but it'll make theirs. So, but I was a looking catch people in a bad day, and they don't want to sign or they don't want to take a picture. They have a policy that they just won't do it. There's some people like that. I think Paul McCartney I heard him on an interview with Howard Stern. He won't sign autographs. Um But he will take a picture or he won't take a picture. But he will talk with you or something. I don't know. Everyone can have their own policy, I guess. Have you had a time where you met someone that you had really looked up to for a long time, And then they just completely Dismantled it and we're or a jerk or something happened where you were like a cross down off the pedestal Now in my book. Yeah, I didn't come across people that have been jerky to me for various reasons, but I could tell you a couple ones that make me laugh..

But the whole this whole expedition of frostbite explaining his motivation is pretty effective and he delivers it well You see they go have a nice little slow shot of all the you know humans walking around lumbering laffin evidently that's not good. Don't don't do that according to the vampires, These are cattle. These are these are food. Why are we running from these people and it's an interesting interesting thoughts again, it's positive motivation. He thinks he's doing the right thing even though it's wrong, which is good. Villain writing and. That's pretty effective. They have a little chat we'll Chitchat and then you get your slow motion bullet. Boy. Hey guys I know you ran out of money but if you ran out of money in pre production of that effect is cut yaw just cut it don't have to have. No that's not good for ninety eight. That's not that doesn't hit. I was thinking about like is that just effects were in ninety eight and I didn't really find any relative comparisons but bully that does not look good. And the fact that Deacon can actually the. The fact of frosts are the fact that he can actually dodge bullets little silly like you're just a vampire, you're not neo ray like. And you would stink if you would think if you realize this movie was released a year earlier I think that the Matrix he'd think, oh, they just stole that for the Matrix because that's what people did after the Matrix but no. Get me a Goddamn wheelchair. And this is Bill Tucker. Good evening to all use suck. Up? And yes, all three of those are coach from the movie were about to be talking about. Yes. Yes. Very. Nineteen Ninety eight blade. Boy. Oh boy. Yep. Only, way to put this. Movie starring Wesley Snipes. Remember. That guy. Before he went to jail he's in jail. He was in jail for a bit. Okay. Apparently, it's it's frowned upon you don't pay your taxes. Oh, that's why I do that every. Yeah, he didn't do that for. He didn't do it for a little bit and he went to Jail Oh. That's a problem. So yeah, apparently he's still does stuff I've not heard of any of these from two thousand four to two, thousand twelve in his thing everything's as direct to video. "Like I don't know to me like a very black thing. That he's got this like I mean, like that's a high mittens haircut getting up a have fade haircut I'm GonNa Fade but like towards the back. Carved in kind of like with little designs or something. Yeah. That's not something that's something you get done like every like week or two weeks that's not like a you do that. Once a you know six months that's a high maintenance haircut. So it's like his by having a haircut like that in the movie you're you're stating that blade really cares about maybe he had whistler do it for him maybe I mean like whistler as the surrogate parent. That would be an interesting choice like, oh, by the way, can you do my faith in the back and made sure my points are sharp. Can you make sure my line is straight. Yeah. It's the there's a lot going on that character and. It's very interesting. especially. Because like the rest of the franchise is kind of garbage. Yeah. Like I mean don't get me wrong. I. Think I own all three of them these on DVD and I definitely watch the TV show I. Think I've seen the second one once I don't think I've seen the third blade The, third lately, the second is okay. The third one is clearly Lucas said it's an attempt to pass the torch cause was inside says like Hey I'm too old for this Ryan Reynolds isn't it and I WANNA say Jessica Alba. Can Oswald is in it? And there's somebody else but they're supposed to be like this like. New Group of people. WHO's GonNa come in and work with played than over. The the fight of fighting Vampires and That clearly didn't work out and. The sort of like abandoned. the movie series but I don't I don't know how that would even work for me I. I kinda can't hear Ryan Reynolds now without. Without give deadpool no matter what he does. Well, you can consider his role in that movie sort of like Will He's the snarky like wise cracking like. Ex Vampire I guess Oh and don't forget about the vampire Pomeranian to. That's right. Yeah that was very special. Obviously. Obviously dear to our hearts. Anyway Yeah it's kind of funny that marble eventually. Did Stumble upon a formula that really worked well because they actually put out a lot of mediocre movies for years before they came upon what later became termed the marvel cinematic universe. ooh. Blades whole hide out is. Really, a former redken shampoo factory having Chris Christopherson and Wesley Snipes in that space what did you guys think of chew dues who were known for doing their own stunt work? Kind of as a mentor Menti. Relationship Because Kris Kristofferson. actually worked as a stuntman for a while. Before starting to do actual acting work. I don't know if you guys knew that but. I, knew about it. I mean I don't think I did. feel like by nineteen ninety eight. So many of these types of legs I see in your notes, you mention highlander. So many of these types of things like, of course, they have like a hang out in a a warehouse or some old building like this just seems like to come with the territory it's like. If. This was like blade, the role playing game you. You GotTa roll up your hideout or whatever. So. You know warehouses cheap. As if you have enough points to get the penthouse apartment as like, I said has played says, this is the fucking march of dimes. No as he takes some dudes, rolex or something like. They're supposed they're not living on the edge of society doing this mission like. It's something you know you mentioned serve Blade influences. Other things is something that comes up in that TV show supernatural lot how they exist on the you know they're supposed to exist on the edge of. Of Society now they live they sleep crappy motels and you know live in a bunker like that's the same kind of thing but you're seeing here in played is that. In this'll warehouse the drive a classic Muscle car. It's been a lot of my on their clothes. They always have nice threat right I. They live on the edge of society they don't get paid for what they do You brought up the car that. That just reminded me of something that I didn't really think of when I saw this movie. I was probably twenty when it came out. The character blade makes no real attempt to be low key at all. He drives around in this very noticeable car in. Very dangerous ways through a crowded city nothing happens to them. or that scene where he's Beating the daylights out of that cop in the middle of a crowded city street and no one is reacting in broad daylight. It was kind of like it's not even happening in a back alley. He's doing this right out on the street. But. But just to go act to the warehouse for a second I thought it was of. It just seemed to be a continuation of the of the cinematic trope of. Underworld organizations for some reason, their natural habitat is abandoned warehouses. I'm sure there's some basis for that somewhere but it it did seem to be a fun example of that. It's like, of course they. Of, course, they set up their vampire-hunting base in the middle of this abandoned warehouse in this. Rather. Anonymous American. City which mainly seems to be New York but has some elements of La in Chicago too from what I was seeing in some of the shots it was it was fun like I. It was kind of like they're kind of a little bit like Alfred and Batman of the ninety s where. They have this bat cave except this is Vampire Hunter Cave. I like their little hideout I liked the way that. Whistler was kind of this welding handyman who was making all these things I mean you could also say their relationship was a little bit like. A little bit like q James Bond, but you know obviously a lot more A lot more close in like a father son type thing than the relationship that those two characters had, which was a lot more professional. It was a little bit unbelievable that. The Vampires hadn't discovered this yet. They did say they were always on the move like they're moving from city to city. So maybe they just hadn't founded in the city yet but when when frost and his lackeys show up at the warehouse later in the movie Like, Oh, it took us a while to find the place I'm I I would say that it did especially since blade is kind of the vampires no matter no matter. If you're old the old money vampires of the new money vampires, he's kind of the vampires enemy number one it's a little bit unbelievable. They didn't locate this place before that since according to blade, they have their hands and everything the police, the government, it's all kind of vampire compromised. One of the things I always thought about and I don't know who is just meet reading too much into the movie is that maybe vampires did know where they were but for the most part he was such either he was too much of a threat to deal with head on until they had this like. Work around of life today walking cream finding, la Migra whatever. But like or. They just didn't bother like these. The old money vampires don't really seem to be unnerved in some ways and maybe they just thought okay. Well, he's he's out there. But like what what harm can this one guy do? It seemed like they regarded him as more of a nuisance yeah. Whereas Frost didn't frost had a real interest in..

"Hello word welcome to the dictionary. This is my podcast where I read the dictionary. Feel free to rate and review on the various platform that black forms that you are all listening to it helps get this more exposure and this the you know I think that people need to hear this because there's a lot of words that people probably need to learn about. Like me! Okay, this first word is blacktop. One word now from nineteen thirty one, a tumulus material used especially for surfacing roads, also a surface paved with blacktop and blacktop is also a transitive verb. Next. "I reverse stated it was right before fall yeah yeah you know you spun around you're going backwards and then you're on your head I'm a better ice skater than roller skater I I didn't roller skate more than I ice probably stock now roller skating so when we decide together instead of you being able to all I skate with you if you think I'm not break an ankle I believe that roller skating and ice skating is like riding a bike once you've done it once and you're pretty good at it you can get back on it in any way and but I have never ice skated no no but you can roller blade which is very similar on concrete okay balance right it's a balancing yeah you know what worries me a little it's about the balance and I acknowledge that it is not as easy as roller skating that's not the heart roller blading it's also not as easy roller blading are you an ice skater be no I skated a little as a mass I really for me I mean I can we would very athletic and I can I skate okay dragon let me just let me just ask the person that I trust Moster are you an ice skater I have never skated ice before about having a roller blade the number of times so this is going to be show thing right tell me in dragon for the first time about Rick and I against the three of you would be against I. "They going social blading they look up this datta one stop other companies from just doing that and seeing what you're well you've been telling people for so long like listen these numbers a lot of this stuff is paid for a lot of it is bogus you know you hit it on the head dude i mean if if they got it's been talking to me it's not gonna go well for that that influencer i'm gonna blown out of the water i mean my whole point with this podcast is honestly to explain this because i'm a consultant i want to help businesses and i'm out here watching businesses get fooled by people like pudi pie you know end they should go used like hype auditor but the problem is shooting pious got so much money you could fool every metric worldstar has gotta be broker something because there's such a huge brand i would expect them to be able to afford to pay for it to be green everyday so this makes them look really bad and that is bad but 'em repeating pie no a software is gonna catch him like he could make himself look across the board like if if i wanted to i could well if i could afford it i'd get targeted followers from the country i choose they say what i want they just do everything perfect he's on touchable at this point right i mean the metrics the metric skin look any way you want if you got the money ryan world stars choosing a cheap cheap guys were out here just like me but guys like people i don't need to i would recommend those advertisers if they wanna picking influencer and higher influencer they should definitely be using hype auditor high potter will catch most people like i buttered give give me a bad review not because my stuff fake it says that it's mostly real and it's good but it's my ratios between my legs and my father workout i don't have enough likes to look real a okay yeah in my own personal mistake just because again i was broke i don't like buying this stuff i try to get as much organic is i can cause i just hate buying it so i just used it to supplement myself and i just didn't wanna buy any more fake ones to get any more real ones right oh well i don't wanna be any more fake then i was but i honestly should've because my ratios they're not right but i'm not out there trying to convince any sponsors at the moment tiny i'm just trying to do a consulting business not influencer marketing business but if i was doing influence or marketing i would have to fix those ratios because you gotta fix you gotta make sure that high potter is saying that you're real saying that you know giving you a good grade basically so well i i'm actually glad you're mentioning that because you know a lot of people that's the new buzzword you know everyone wants to be an influencer and there's and there's a very very hard uphill climb for that because you're basically fighting for attention when everyone else and if the person you're fighting against has deep pockets like you said you're not gonna be able to get ahead unless you got you buying as well right yeah influence influence or marketing has been taken over by the social media marketing industry it's all about buying stuff i mean the soon as you say i'll pay you ten cents for every hundred you get a then you learn how to hack the views there you go there goes in industry right there just like so i i feel pretty influences out there that are trying to go the jet and don't buy anything in her getting small paychecks because they've only got ten thousand followers end up at their sponsors love them because they've got their small little unique fan base and they don't have to pay them very much because they don't have very many followers it's like if you were to just keep that brand on the hook keep your job but then also supplement it with the fake stuff but do it in a way that is natural you know drip feed it slowly right do it real make sure you keep the ratios tight make sure you do every service bend the sponsors gonna think it's real and have to just pay you more that's the only difference is yes the pay you more so that's why it's all about buying stuff when it the being an influence her and that's why everybody in the world you know every google soldier out there is gonna convince you that you shouldn't by the fake stuff well that's because they're doing it and they don't want you to figure it out so so now now with that said you know what you just said about a so a person that wanted to get into this i want it to really increased their profile whether it's their business or just for for their own influencer credit would you say that they need to essentially like you just said drip feed but drip feed each social media platform that they have a presence on a i would pick one like i i think you should just pick one in go all the way with the gotcha there's two strategies the take it's it's like the the secondary platform or you're main platform form you're main platform you really should just have the race to a billion type of attitude it should just be get its forests in his fast as possible don't look back don't worry about people taking her fake you know when you reach a million nobody's gonna remember how you got you know ten dollars on like looking worldstar nobody's going back in you know questioning them in their thirty k per day right even after losing nine k every fucking day but so you know it's funny because you know people just remember you're last at bat and it's like everybody's going in there and like you said you know they got twenty two million followers worldstar it's like listen nobody is worried about how you got to the first hundred thousand yeah i mean people are really uptight about looking fake and again just because of how google's put it in your mind but it's so bad in this and that i mean if it's you're main platform race to a billion of course make it look real i mean don't cut corners so that it just ruins everything like don't buy a million views and no lights that's a pretty smart idea right you know you would not wanna do that but as long as you keep some common sense where they try to make it look you know real enough be like me i don't make it look real enough to the machines that's why hypothyroidism shit but people don't people think i'm legit right they can't tell now the now the other thing about that is that a a lot of people that are coming into this you know content is always gonna be key as well because it doesn't matter what you buy content is crap it's crap so that really helped me even if you have the hell up big numbers yup if you if people just don't like you yeah it'd be fake as you want people they're never gonna force their way in front of people but you're just gonna get more people unlike you know it it it and that's and that was the other thing i kind of want it to drive home because you were talking about a you know doubling down and purchasing and put money money into the you're metrics but i also wanna keep front and center that content is content you could put as much money as you want it to you're metrics but if you're content is garbage it's not gonna matter 'cause you just pissed and in the window at that point yet the main the main you're main platform you should go all the way way you should make it your best effort you should race to a billion it should just be you're elite thing that you do but you're secondary platforms i definitely have a more chill strategy for those like i basically just raised fifty k i like the hover on the fifty k mart i feel like it's it's a high digit to number digit you know value that's it means more than fifty k the does that fifteen sixteen low well they know if somebody told me somebody said i'd rather have a hundred true fans that by all my products and have a thousand fans do nothing true true i definitely would rather have a hunter fans they buy the products that you know it but but but would i rather have a hundred fans by products or a million followers that don't buy anything i'd probably take the million followers just because overtime they will get me a hundred fans right i mean right because like you were saying engagement that million engagement will create something where people be like oh this guy's got a pretty thriving community let me see what the big deal is honestly even the fake stuff it's not like it's it's not always a hundred percent fake you will get some engagement out of the out of the fake stuffy by it's not like it's all just a hundred percent robot right so some of it is but but you will get some engagement out of that end if you if you do it right if you're also getting comments if you're also getting likes if you're also writing good comments that's gonna show actually engagement besides just the big fall accomplish sides just the caps when you do it all altogether it convince people to believe in interact and then you just been with the shell or homey or you're cellphone alternate account and you just kerry the conversation and just kind of created from there but you wanna track real people because that's the name of the game of you'll learn how to use fake stuff did do it you now now i gotta ask you this way with all these different platforms out there is their platforms you prefer more than others definitely definitely definitely definitely an i base that on how much the platform is removing the followers lycee it's it's a mixture of the people creating accounts breaking too many rules but some platforms have really relaxed rules and that means followers never drop you buy them it's a good investment 'cause they're just there forever and you don't have the race against the clock you know it's not like they're being stripped from you and you have to buy so many so quickly but they can't be firm you fast enough because that's basically what's going on in twitter on twitter and instagram you two gallon twitter definitely i know that's been a thing only because sometimes you know there'll be someone you're following that you're just casually following and they all of a sudden they go from you know five hundred followers to you know ten thousand followers in the span of thirty days and i'm like listen most ear tweets are pretty mundane pretty pretty regular i don't know what you're putting out there that is getting those numbers yeah he's i mean when when you when you actually go and you start buying yourself it depends on how high up the totem pole you get because all the sellers out there just middlemen they're kicking you link and they're giving it to a guy who's selling it cheaper and then he's doing the worker maybe he's not maybe he's giving the link to another guy and then he's doing the work and each one just taking a cut you're money so you're paying a lot up front you're paying the street level price which is the most you could possibly pay and then you're link is getting passed through a bunch of hands until it gets to the actual guide delivering the order who is charging the least amount money because he's got tons and tons of customers he's like the guy in cuba you know in the mansion selling the cocaine or something like that hogwarts versus all the old as a strain guys ends like it when it gets to the street level guy you.

consultant auditor fifty k hundred percent ten dollars thirty days two gallon thirty k nine k
