"Can very much minimize your legal risks, and especially your risks of asset protection give you an example to demonstrate to you the difference between this remember that in asset protection planning if somebody wants to sue you. They're going to retain an attorney, and as part of that attorney retainer process, they're going to do an asset search for you. And in order for somebody to success. Really sue you or to really be intentional about suing you in an order for an attorney to take on the case, they're going to have to be convinced that it's going to be in their best interest, which means that they wanna make sure that you have deep pockets, what attorney is gonna take a case on retainer, if they're not suing somebody with the pockets almost no one if they do take the case, they're gonna take it and make the the plaintiff pay upfront. And who knows maybe you're up against somebody holds a personal grudge and has the pockets in case which case this doesn't protect you. But that's not the norm normal situation. We're talking about the normal situation is somebody going to be looking for a deep-pocketed defended. Now in this situation, the point of personal assets, physical assets personal property is you can own quite a substantial amount of property. And there's not a lot of information of out there about it. And remember that the legal rules of disclosure only applied if you are only apply to you. If you are forced to make legal disclosure, I won't be aware of too. Circumstances in which you can be forced to make a legally legally binding disclosure under penalty of perjury. And that would be something like a bankruptcy filing. So if you are filing for bankruptcy, and you're if you're completing a debtor's examination and those can go together. So in a worst case scenario, somebody sues you, then they win their lawsuit against you. Then they bring you into the court and you're compelled to complete a debtor's examination, which basically means you tell somebody everything that you own everywhere that it is. And you have to do that under the penalty of perjury. And so you don't wanna lie because lying big Bizet potentially a felony potentially send you to prison, which is a bad thing. It's bad for your financial freedom when you're stuck in prison. So we want to be cautious and hope to never get to debtor's examination..

"That's all that was all that's all in the past. And so now new things hopefully, people will say because I can't hang onto this that I wrote down every thought I had about myself those hurt my feelings that started some crying 'cause I wrote some really shitty things about myself. These are Bizet different day exercise. Nice made the sex is up. Every shitty thought I have myself, loser pieces, shed, whatever like anything, I think all down. Bay red x. Okay. That's that's what I am. Not when I did this. I just did that one this morning. And quite honestly, it actually looked really cool when I was done. I think that one I said, I think I wrote something I wrote some words on top of it in red. Anyway, I wasn't trying to do in our project. But I just was trying to figure out creative ways that I can anybody the person thought the bullet person came up with the bullet journal is the person's getting the most out of it. They thought of it and it worked for them and other people thought and we'll try to. So what I what I what my habit has to be don't copy the thing copy inspiration. Yeah. You're smart. What give yourself a vocal warm up. Give yourself a program that you can do and also give yourself of prompt to write about how to percents don't look at the one that they give you every day and go I can't fucking. I don't have time to actually does right right down three things that you want to write down read your own list. But but the thing is and then do something. Different the next day. But if you do that over enough time where you some mornings, you someone you don't, but you've been doing it even pieces of it for a year. There's so much good that can come out of that. And there's so much that you can find out and like any exercise you've ever done was just fucking somebody sat around and said, let's make a list of five or maybe it'd be good. If you did this think of a thing that might be good for you to do. I thought I would like to see those things written down. I'd like to look at those words that I'm constantly saying to myself or that, I'm. From other listening to am I listening because it's not it's not that those things that those people were saying about me are who I am. But there who I've been in certain moments and some of them are more, right? I can do a thing if I wrote down of all the positive things somebody. Said about me, I have to put an extra those two because that's also in the past right? I have to just be with now and be inexperienced. So that's working for me tastic like that that to me is is such a really like a lifting idea that feels. Achievable and also really interesting because because the thing in my notebook that I have I can do anything in it. I want they a writing a book on a journal. It's just whatever it is today on that day, and I have, but I did by myself, some some I left I love new I love pencils penalty. So I bought some pencils. And then and then I have a couple of pens, and because sometimes I just draw. And I haven't done that I reminded myself. I was a kid. It was like you still have to draw draw. Stop trying to make something happen. Just draw. What you wanna draw and see what happens and just draw? Okay. So I think in relationships do there, it's romantic platonic, familial, whatever professional whatever the thing is like yours, we you when you've been on the planet for any real amount of time. You know, you pick up these like unconscious habits or responses to triggers that just become. Unconscious. It's like Pavlovian almost like does this, and you react immediately feel anger or love or fear or her millions or frustration or whatever like there's just a tick of something happening, but it full blown triggers the historic unconscious habit. Right, which is to jump right into full reactive nece or or full, even if it's body ravenous or mental reactive this, right?.

"When you threaten to strike. In my opinion. I think we have none. I think we have none whatsoever. Because the company has it started it announced it last week in it's going to be finishing up the end towards the end of this week Wednesday Thursday, they are emptying the system of all freight there they've told the customers because of the possibility of a strike we are going to empty our system. And after like, I said when Thursday week, we will no longer be picking up any customers freight in over in reasoning for that is the company doesn't want customers freight to be stranded inr system, because if there's a work stoppage in we've had we got their freight it it's not gonna move. It will affect the our our customers customers is gonna affect their business. So it's just makes sense. I think from company company standpoint, I think it's it makes it's perfectly justified, and it makes Bizet mixed sense from business important to at goodwill gesture on the company's part to say. We don't know what the this is going to be ratted put, you know, put a gun to your head as it were by holding your freight. You're good hostage. We're gonna set. Listen. We're gonna you're gonna have to make up arrangements. Yeah. Because the company has to consider the the backlash from its client base that uses UPS, and then all of a sudden I wear the the strike happened. And now your stuff is trended in stranded in poughkeepsie, and it's not going to get delivered. At least now they know. Hey, I just gotta make other arrangements starting on what they say the ninth. They're clearing everything out as of the ninth. I believe that sounds about right. I I don't remember the heart as but that's no it's Wednesday or Thursday of this week. So that's that's both a smart decision on UPS part in terms of dealing with its clients. It's also pretty big power move. Isn't it in terms of the union to say, hey, listen. We're just we're just gonna shut you guys off. Well, from the standpoint that the way it worked is with before negotiations even began the union got what they call a strike authorization. They put it to the membership. Whether we would authorize a strike in the event that in the event that came to that and we did authorize a strike both freight L -til freight in package did that. So the there's there was a memo put out by the go sheeting committee at the national level, the cl- clearly states that while a strike is not what we want to do the strike authorizations already given in. If the vote is returned as ING. No if it comes back as no-vote a strike will take place. It's not it's not it's not maybe or we'll talk some more. It's no we will strike is just a matter of win. We can't the the the union has to call the strike. So the the workers can't say, okay? We we heard the votes don't. We're not gonna working whether the union will authorize a strike, but they will call a strike was. Okay. So, but what's actually let me let me tell you. Let me tell you a little bit about policy genius. And and then I want to ask you about the logic behind that given given the position that they're in and the move that UPS has made here. Let me tell you like about policy genius from his policy genius is is life insurance is dental insurance is pet insurance. All disability insurance. They got it all and as you guys know, it's really important. You gotta have it. Specially you know, if you believe like, we do that you ought to be taking care of yourself and.

"A vitamins Bizet. Take care of an enter drama. Thank you guys. Let's get back to the pod. Okay. Let me ask you this. So if you're listening to that and you're like, man, you ride and blah, blah, blah. Do you. Do is the advice to worry about asking people who have knowledge about the topic, not you. Are you better off asking someone who has knowledge who doesn't give shit about you, then someone who loves you and doesn't have knowledge for sure. Yeah, I'm expertise over experiencing. I don't understand people. I do it myself. I don't get it at all. You still are doing it yourself. You've just excel A-Rated what you're doing by getting the dummy tax. Here's why I appreciate the advice of people that have situation knowledge over people who care about me is they're going to tell me what they did and I'm picking them out and I'm giving them the biggest gift biggest compliment that you can people. I'm sorry, Dave, but can I ask you for help when people say that to me my heart sing off. I'm like, this guy relief. He respects what I what I've done, I know. Yeah, what a great compliment and meanwhile, everyone's expecting us. I don't have time me wanna barf ING all my help all over them because I want to prove to them how much I know that's how many people I know. I never thought about that because I always told me, ask people for help. They'll give you help people like to share people like to, but I just didn't think about the fact that it is a massive compliment by. Just asking people for guidance because you respect their opinion or what they Accomplice. -ccomplish. So I highly suggest expertise over experience because you'll have a better experience by getting in gaining expertise. Yeah. Stop going to the people that love you unless they happened to be experts. Exactly. And you still have to beware even if you have an expert in your family that loves you. Yeah, they're always going to have a different take on it because they're gonna want your well being. That's what's so dangerous right people that love you almost feel like are like it's really dangerous to get advice from people that love you because they'll say it's the other person's fall. You did everything right? This is bubble blah act. You wanna protect you. They're not going to be honest. And sometimes that protection ends of being our biggest nemesis. Yep. Very true. Okay. So just like a quick, how did you, what were you doing? You were selling legal research online, west law, so it was a website. It was all the books you see on the legal commercials with the keys on them. Yeah, in the early nineties, you know what? We have this Bank of NCR computers from Ohio in a mountain and we're gonna put instead of printing off of these. We're going to put them online dot EDU, and we'll have.

Oh, well, there. I think that's why they had the break-up happened yesterday. Oh, for Christ's sake with his show. Well, I hope he's the first gay, bachelor. And I don't say that in a mean way like he's gay. You know, I hope I literally, you know, I love him and I hope that he's gay because this was kind of coming out monologue that he had right. Wasn't that he's like, I really like. I do everything for everybody else all the time, and I just want to do something his list Bizet gay is just like a speech impediment, right? Like I do other people all the time. Like, you know, trying to give to you with my tongue was for my dad, like football, if. And he started crying and I was like, oh my God. He cries so much. He cries more than I do. And I'm a girl. Fifty meta pas on stop crying Colton. What do you have to cry about? First of all, he's not emotionally in a good place to be on a TV show in general, let alone one that he's supposed to get married at the end of it worries me is that he seems like he's really crying. I mean, there's a lot of fake tears on here, but Colton seems to be really crying, right? I think he is. I'm telling you, I honestly think he's unstable. I love that man. Yeah, I just I think it's going to be really uninteresting to watch and also why I feel bad for the women that are going to like, that's what they're competing for a guy who has a lot of therapy in front of him, expert ball player with a hurt wrist, a charity in his own name and krill to jackets, how fun like they're, they're really lowering the bar every year with what you're competing for. I know I just don't understand like they have trader Joe. Why? Why can't they use him? I don't get it member of who wants to be a millionaire. It's like the prizes. A million dollars may turn on game show network is like people fighting the street for five dollars, you know? Well, listen trader. Joe was good enough for dancing with the stars, and that's what the people who went on bachelor and then break up with their person go on. Anyway, that's dead is going to be like nice wall. "Well, to be honest, we take them on Bizet, so we try to take them on multiple visits. We feel it's important that you know, even if they're leaning towards one school that we show them, you know, other schools that have been interested in them and to be honest, we let them make their own decisions. We try to make give them the information. So they make an educated decision. And yeah, that's that's the best we can do, but it is ultimately up to them. They've earned that right, and they make their decisions. So they've all done that. And yeah, it's been great over the use this show in particular on ESPN radio, the sporting life, and I know you're an avid listener. Oh. We shut the house down radio on, and that's all we listen to. We have. We've discussed a lot over the years. The very serious issue of brain trauma and football in not just what ball, but other sports is well, and as the mother of a four football playing sons, how do you view what now we have to regard is you know, what are the biggest stories, biggest public health crises of the twentieth century, at least in sports in the United States. Yeah, it's well, I've done a lot done reading on it and I can't say a lot, but I've definitely done some reading on it, but I honestly, I don't have control. I could never say you can't play because I'm worried about you. They would dismiss me and write me off. So I did not see that movie concussion on purpose because I feel like it's spate there's nothing I can do to prevent him from playing if I felt that that was the right course of action. But all of them, all of them learn how to keep their body. Shape. You know, Christian does a thing called Giro stem where he goes into a like a lab and it looks like a sort of a modern amusement ride, and he does things to keep his brain intact and Brandon shape, and it's all it's it. That's the that's what most people do when they get a concussion. It's therapy to get better from a concussion. And he does it as preventative, but also he can have his mind be the sharpest two can be. So he can maybe avoid some of those hits. You know there, you know, education's coming out every single day on this topic, and we just try to keep abreast to it and try to do the best we can to prevent at all costs. But yeah, Ed actually is the one with who had tons of concussions and some pretty bad ones at the end of his career. So that's I worried about him, but he seems to be okay, you know, to be, we all a lot of our both Eddin I in our kids. Got this got a blood test, and there's ways to tell if you're susceptible more susceptible to concussions and brain diseases, like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, all that in this. Test, and fortunately we don't have that gene. I couldn't tell you what it is. It's a scientific term, but there are things you can do to see if you are more susceptible to it. That's not to say that none of my kids are going to get a concussion or haven't had one and several, but Ed has recovered from them, you know, whereas I know other players don't seem to recover as well, so so that's something we've done to try to prevent it and hopefully void it in the future.
