"Actually let's do this. Make it thirty seconds. John hit me in thirty seconds. Because if if you know this. I wanna know this. I'll double check it johnny there. Yes yeah please screen channel. I have a screen shots from last year. That pfizer depth. The cdc put it says Pfizer bio entex still immune from lawsuits over covert nineteen seen after federal federal approval. That's okay that's why listen. That's that's that's what i thought john. Listen i appreciate you being out there and clarifying that for us. Really do appreciate it. Sorry we're just short on time. Let the have you call back tomorrow. Okay just to get through this column. Here's the gist of it. armstrong williams went to the us open and one of the things that he noticed was i mean obviously going to the us open is pretty pretty amazing Pretty neat he was talking about there. Were five thousand dollar club seats at the us open. I don't know if this was gifted to him. I don't know but anyway it was amazing for him and he was just he was in all of it and then he set the strangest thing happened. He looked around. He saw all of these kids under the age of twenty one where they were just they were living the life except for the fact that they were all sitting there on their phones not enjoying the life and then all he wonder is. How did they pay for this. And and what were the kids thinking. And so he said it. I used to believe that the stimulus package and other government handouts were causing people to work. But he said i was wrong. It's our phones. It's it's these kids. They want a free ticket. They see these other kids. Maybe they're blowing up on instagram or take talker wherever it may be. They're living the life and honestly they the biting administration and the left has gotten these people to appoint these children. Were they just want to be able to live a lie. Parents helped your kids to live life. Help your kids to see something different. Unfortunately what they're seeing on their phones what they're seeing in society. What they're seeing from the left is nothing that's going to be good for their soul so parents get a hold of your kids. Don't be afraid to parent. Don't be afraid for them to be mad at you if you know that you love them and you're doing the right thing for him. Do the right things for them. It's sad but this is a good ineffective effective point. These kids don't wanna because they're too busy chillan and watching other people chilling on their phones and they're loving that lifestyle that the left is creating for them all right guys until tomorrow don't grow doing god bless from the left coast to the right coast. It's the larry elder show with special guest carl jackson..
A Federal Judge Temporarily Blocks 'Heartbeat' Abortion Law in Texas
"News out of texas. It looks like the bite administration found an obama appointee. Federal judge to temporarily block the heartbeat bill. Us district judge robert pittman. A barack obama appointee temporarily blocked. Texas is heartbeat. Bill calling it. An unprecedented and transparent trach statutory scheme to deny patients the right to an abortion patients because it's healthcare. Don't you know killing the baby in the womb. That's that's a that's a medical process. Got it got it. The left desperately wants to preserve a woman's right to have an abortion performed because it's her body her choice. But don't you dare resist the vaccine. That ain't your choice. You better get one or else got it. It's as clear as
Mother of the Imprisoned Naval Officer Stuart Scheller Fights Back
"Listeners. Asked me about the case of lieutenant. Colonel stewart sheller junior. We posted a video of his. Where he you know decorated guy a a a warrior a guy who has defended his country. He's the marine who spoke out against the afghan debacle. And you know for doing so. Apparently he's now in the brig unbelievable the twisted sense of accountability that the bite administration and our us government seems to possess and it's It's a shocking story. And i'm very very Grateful that lieutenant colonel stewart sheller. Juniors parents have been taken to the media to share their son's story very pleased to welcome cathy. Sheller to the mike gallagher. Show mrs. sheller. First of all on behalf of millions of americans were so sorry for what you're experiencing. It's got to be a very difficult time for the sheller family. My it is a very difficult time. I want to remind america. We will eventually into our son again. There are thirteen families there that are never going to get to see their children against the we have to remember that as americans zaveri high-cost and not only those thirteen people. The over seven thousand lives that were lost during this twenty year war and the depending on the data that you look at the anywhere from thirty to one hundred thousand one hundred thousand suicides that have gone on because of ptsd in unrelated issues from the war. Time we as americans take a look at this. And i don't want to take away from my son. But i just thought it was a very important to mention these
Photographer Behind Viral Image of Border Agent on Horseback Debunks Whipping Lie
"The border crisis is sort of blowing up the bite administrations face in a big way. I mean even al sharpton learned the hard way that going to the border is not the a photo op that might turn out to be. Of course al sharpton winds up going to the border over a gigantic enormous walker of a lie that a border patrol agent on a horse was whipping haitians. Even the photographer who took the picture has debunked that lie shane. He wasn't whipping. Anybody was using the range to control the horse. But that didn't slow biden down from lying about it. Did you hear biden ranting and raving about it over the weekend. The person who did that will pay will pay for what for doing his job. How dare the president of the united states. Target a brave overwhelmed. Overworked underappreciated border. Patrol agent with a slanderous diabolical lie. When even the photographer who took the damn picture shed it wasn't true. Nobody was whipping anybody. Nobody was lashing anybody. These democrats are lunatics.
Governor Ducey, 25 Fellow Governors Request Border Meeting With Biden
"I'm glad i'm not you. Because i honestly do not know what i would do with this number. I've read the letter that the are sent the president you signed. I have read the press releases. The numbers are astonishing. Would you review the letter that you sent the president biden. What you're asking for and why you were asking for it. Well this is beyond the border crisis. And of course people know arizona and taxes are border states but twenty six governors from across the country of signed on to this. Because it's really beyond just the border crisis. It's a catastrophe. And it's things like including a national security crisis because we don't know who's coming across our southern border. It's a public safety crisis. Because all of our states are experiencing a rise in crime and drugs. it's a it's a humanitarian crisis. You can see that just from the pictures and then of course we're told we have this public health crisis yet. When inconvenient at the border they bite administration avert its gaze from. What's actually happening there. And there's not testing or vaccination so governors together all republicans have stepped up and said to isn't biden that you need to act on this. It's the responsibility of the federal government. And we've requested a meeting with him within the next two weeks. We wanted to go to washington. Dc and bring back the policies of the previous administration that we're actually working at the border.
Buyers' Remorse Runs Rampant Among Biden's Former Cheerleaders
"It's pretty clear we have a bigger problem now than we've had in years and this is a these policies have turned it into becoming a magnet. So he's got a lot of work to do incredible chunk taught who is a reliable cheerleader for the democrats for the bite administration just rattling off a number of crises lang them at the feet of the current encampment. Let's are somebody who believes in unbiased reporting the creator of just the us dot com john. Solomon we played a cut in the first hour from cnn. Talking about might have multiple crisis. Then you have chunk. Todd you have a stephanie ruling others is something happening in the mainstream media. John i wrote a star the other day that said that buyer's remorse starting to set in even among people who embraced by nearly the media is currently wanted them and chuck. Todd was a great apologised for joe biden. All astier into the beginning of this administration as was cnn and msnbc we also see an enormous amount of buyers remorse from our foreign allies france. Great britain grave concerns about the way joe biden conduct. Things and i know he just said in the clip there that it's key issue of of credibility. I think the american voter see something. Different isn't just credibility its competence. We don't blow up people who are innocent with a predator drone and call it a right to strike. We don't open the border and bring cove into our country. That's just the competence question. I think the bigger issue that joe biden's presence he's going to with long-term is is he. Competent president did we vote for someone who sounded good but can't
How Did Thousands of Haitian Migrants End Up at the Texas Border?
"Standing to note what the media doesn't ask. We know what they do. Ask but what about what they don't ask have. You noticed. for example you hear very little conversation about how they're thousands of haitians along the us mexico border. I mean del. Rio is in texas right. This is the us mexican border thousands and thousands of haitians haitian illegals mainstream likes to call the migrants. They're just looking for a better life. How they get their. Who brought them there. Who paid for that. How does that work. And you know. It is a nightmare. It's a total nightmare bite administration. I mean this has been a disaster across the board
Rep. Chip Roy Explains Biden's Open Border Harms Both Migrants and Americants
"Are coming into this country with all kinds of diseases. The CDC just said they expect potentially Measles to become a problem again as a result of people they're bringing in from Afghanistan who weren't properly vetted. Now we have 11,000 Haitians under a bridge in your state with 10,000 more behind them. What the hell is going on here? Mark. Good to be able to show as always. I mean, look, if you set out to harm the United States of America, I don't know how you could do a better job than the bite administration is doing and eight months that they've been in power. And what's amazing is is that they've taken something and they have found a way to actually harm migrants and then harm the bury people in our country that they're supposed to protect at the same time. While pretending it somehow compassionate and we now as you just said, we have 10 or 11,000 people in Del Rio, a $10,000 way Haitians. We have their FAA being told not to allow drones so that we can have new shots being Broadcast around so people can see it. We have 4000 people in a holding facility in McAllen, where the where there's still flowing through. We have an enormous number of people. 1.4 million Mark 1.4 million Who have been apprehended. That's the entire city of Dallas that have been apprehended this year. And of those about half a million, we know have been released. Several 100,000 are known gotta ways we have at least 800,000 people in the United States because of what's been happening and divide administration not only doesn't care It's willful. It's purposeful, and they're doing it in blatant disregard of the constitutional duty to defend the United States of America, they are failing to faithful sleep faithfully execute the laws of the United States. And I believe it's not only impeachable, but that now Governor Abbott in Texas ought to take this into our own hands and do what we need to do to secure the border. The United States
Infrastructure, Jobs and Climate Change
"So i wanna start with your giving us an overview of the infrastructure. Plan as you understand it you know what do you what do you see is specifically in it. And what do you think the priorities are. Well thanks so much john. And it's a pretty comprehensive plan. And i think the general theme to keep in mind for your viewers is. This is very much a jobs plan. But there's no question in the minds of anyone who's read or in the administration that the belief behind the plan is that it at the same it deals with really four interwoven challenges that the administration is facing and of course the first is the post pandemic reality. The second is the economic downturn. The third is the climate crisis and the fourth is inequality and racial equity and the disproportionate environmental harm and other harms had replaced on low income communities and communities of color. No not putting those in any kind of priority. They're all of the utmost important but the general theme is that the road to economic recovery is through climate action and so it isn't infrastructure. A jobs plan. But there's no question that it very very intentionally addresses the climate crisis in a number of ways and know that the bite administration signaled his plans. He's been remarkably consistent with messages of last summer. If you saw the the biden clean energy biden plan he had a whole blueprint around clean energy and environmental justice and he has come through with flying colors in this plan. You know first and foremost it really is a building up of the clean energy sector the job-generating clean energy sector and the lesson from two thousand nine. As you all know now from the stimulus that then vice president biden worked on it. It just was simply not enough. Finding it wasn't enough finding it wasn't enough where the energy sector so this is gonna largely come through in the form of an array of renewable energy tax credits various forms and which are wildly popular and successful Those are really important. We'll certainly get the support of the business and there's something called a direct pay provisions that is important to renewable energy developers for those who may not have the adequate tax equity to benefit from a tax incentive. That's built into the into the whole thing at this point. I want to say that. There's something called justice. Forty which is outlined from the very beginning. President biden made it clear that forty percent of the benefits of his investments would go to underserved frontline disadvantaged communities
Whose Propaganda Is Worse: Biden Administration or the Taliban?
"Me show you what else I'm seeing. Bleed into our media here. And that is that, uh, Well, look, uh, the Taliban really do seem to be changing. They're making all kinds of promises. Here. They They say they will work with us after the fact you heard Blinken say it. So what Blinken says the media will regard you take And yet NBC is now reporting this just broke. That the Taliban spokes idiot The spokes. Terrorists said that there's no evidence Osama bin Laden was involved in 9 11. What do you think of that? Mr Producer? There's no evidence Osama bin Laden was involved in 9 11, but we're going to believe this guy when he says for sure. After August 31 you just show up with your papers will let you through. I don't know whose propaganda is worse, the Taliban or the Biden administration. The Taliban or the Biden administration. They're both lying. The bite administration wants you to believe that you can rely on the Taliban, but we're going to be very careful What we know who they are. Yeah, Yeah. They speak out of both sides of the man. We know they're dangerous. We know who they are, but they promised they said, you know. We have to rely on their word. Because that's all they've got The bad administration when they pulled the military at the first time, and they're pulling it out
Supreme Court Orders 'Remain in Mexico' Policy Reinstated
"Speaking of the trump administration a big win for the common sense conservatism that we saw from the trump administration. The us supreme court yesterday handed the bite administration. A major defeat the biden administration trying to block a lower court ruling keeping the trump administration's remain in mexico policy for illegals the unsigned order stated. The biden white house failed to show that it. It's moved to end. The program was not arbitrary and capricious and so good news for from the supreme court. The three liberal justices were in dissent but the supreme court said that the biden administration likely violated federal law in its attempt to rescind. The trump program informally known as remain in mexico from senator. Tom cotton this is a victory for america and a defeat for the by administration a defeat for the human traffickers and a defeat for the cartels. So that's good news.
Biden Admin Doesn't Know the Number of Stranded Americans in Afghanistan
"Breaking news the washington post this morning as director william burns met with the The senior leader of the taliban yesterday in kabul william burns went over. There secretly held the meeting face to face with abdul. Ghani bara dr It's the highest face to face encounter between the taliban in the bite administration boras also man who met with Titrate state mike pompeo last year. I'm joined by byron. York of the washington examiner byron does that maybe give us the clues to why the administration is being so secretive as to what is going on and the timeline in kabul hallel byron. You might be on go ahead. you're on now okay. It could but it underscores the perhaps the ugliest fact of this entire affair which is that. The united states is dependent on the good graces of the taliban. It sounds insane to say that but we are dependent on the good graces of the taliban to get americans out american citizens american Not forces and those Afghans who aided the american military effort. So the the fact that you know. We're having meetings with the taliban. In which in this case i think has to be done. Underscores the dependence position that the president has put us in here now bar. Dr of course does not control al qaeda or isis or any of the other splinter groups. That are there. It is unclear to me whether or not we actually have operational security guarantees from the taliban. But the thing that i'm certain about we don't know how many americans are there and i doubt that the united states government does but do you think they have at least a minimum number. They might release to us byron. Well i was relieved to find out yesterday that there are not stranded not stranded because the white house told me that But i think it's an well. Let's say this if the if the us government knows how many americans are there and he's not saying I don't know the explanation for that. But i'm taking them at their word that they literally do not know how many americans are in afghanistan
"biting administration" Discussed on 790 KABC
"Is back, according to the Wall Street Journal, US warned the Islamic state who is a threat to Americans in Afghanistan, as the Biden administration seeks to evacuate thousands of US citizens and Afghan allies. The threat is real. It is acute. It is persistent. It is something we are focused on with every tool in our arsenal said Jake Sullivan, the president's national security advisory told CNN on Sunday when asked for the crowds of Kabul International Airport are vulnerable to terrorist attacks because by the way that is a real possibility you got a bunch of Americans and Afghan allies are just lined up around this place. All it would take is one Isis guy with an AK to mow down a bunch of those people. President Biden, speaking from the White House, said quote We know that terrorists may seek to exploit the situation and target innocent Afghans are American troops or maintaining constant vigilance to monitor and disrupt threats from any source. Concerns over Islamic state attacks. For one reason, the U. S Embassy warned Americans on Saturday to avoid traveling to the airport in Kabul and to avoid airport gate. Defense officials have said. So question if Americans can't go to the airport And they can go to the airport gates and you're worried about Isis, killing them. What are you going to do now? What exactly is your plan guys? Islamic state is among several terrorist groups present in Afghanistan, each with a different relationship with the Taliban. The Taliban had harbored Al Qaeda before the groups terrorist attacks on the U. S. In 2000 and one reports of surface the Taliban have freed Al Qaeda fighters from prisons as they gain control of the country this month. Isis and the Taliban have sometimes fought over control of the territory in Afghanistan. The Taliban after taking over Kabul, executed the former head of Isis in South Asia who had been in a government prison. Assisting the US evacuation effort. Roughly two dozen countries have agreed to take in Afghan evacuees while they are processed. The bite administration has also ordered commercial airliners help evacuate. Mr. Sullivan was one of several U. S national security officials to appear on Sunday morning news programs to discuss the evacuation effort. But honestly, if you think things are bad now over there Wait until there's a national terrorist attack on the gates outside of the Kabul airport. Because then you're just relying on the Taliban to basically provide full fledged security. Right now. It's not just will the Taliban be nice enough to allow our people to leave if we bribe them Now, the question is. Will the Taliban actually go to war with Al Qaeda to stop Al Qaeda from killing people who are outside the gates, and that is a very real possibility, given the fact the State Department is now telling people not to go to the airport because they are afraid of terrorist attack. U. N officials have reported. Al Qaeda operations are still present in some areas. US. Intelligence assessments have said the group could completely reconstitute in Afghanistan within 18 months to two years after an Afghan after an American withdrawal. U. S. Officials have since said they are likely to reassess that timelines. You like 15 minutes. And what a a full scale disaster. So the good news is we have a president was clearly with us. A president who is clearly in control a president who has defined this policy and plan for every contingency and totally knows what's going on right now. Or, alternatively, we have a house plans. Who is not with us and has not been with us for quite some time. So Chris Wallace had on the secretary of state Tony Blinken, who has really outdone himself this time, and Tony Blinken is not good at his job, and he is extraordinarily not that his job. Chris Wallace on Fox News asked him, you know, the president keeps saying things that are not true, like over and over, the president said Al Qaeda isn't in Afghanistan. That's not true. The president has said that there is no violence outside the airport gates that is not true. The president has suggested that the Afghan security forces didn't fight at all. We're not capable of fighting. That's not true, he said. A lot of things that are not true. Is he with us, like is the president like on this planet? As of any time recently or is he just too wrapped up in that Matt Locke Marathon? On the on cable channel 7 99 to pay attention to what's it like? What's going on? Here is Chris Wallace with Tony Blinken. Tony Blinken is answer here is a somewhat disturbing As the secretary Does the president not know what's going on. This is an incredibly emotional time for for many of us, uh and including allies and partners, who've been shoulder to shoulder with us in Afghanistan for 20 years. So the question was. Does the president know what's going on? The secretary of state's answer is It's an emotional time for us all. Do you feel quieted? Do you feel that things are going well, Do you feel that this president is in charge? Um, that's not the answer you're looking for. The answer you're looking for is the president knows every single thing that's going on right At this moment. We're making decisions in real time we planned for every contingency. Sometimes those plans go wrong and we are making contingencies for the contingencies. But the president is up to date and a prize. Instead we get it's an emotional time. I mean, let's be let's be real emotions are running high right now. Uh, yeah, Great. Also, who's in control? Secretary of State? Tony Blinken, Who's in control here is Tony Blinken explaining the Taliban are in control. Now, you should be asking yourself the question. Why? You should be asking why. And the answer, of course, is because Joe Biden decided to put them in control period end of story. That is the only reason the Taliban are in control. Someone in our audience might listen to you, Mr Secretary and say Oh, so we have to ask the Taliban for permission for American citizens to leave true or not True. They are in control of Kabul. That is the reality. That's the reality that that we have to deal with. How comfortable are you with that, Mr Secretary? Um What? I'm what? I'm focused on what? We're all focused on. Is getting people out and making sure that we're doing everything possible to do that. And in this case, uh it is. I think a requirement of the job to be in contact with with the Taliban, which controls Kabul. Um If you're draws, not on the floor after listening clips like that I did not sell you. Most powerful country in world history. Has put the Taliban in charge of Kabul, with thousands of American citizens still stranded in country. The Taliban is in charge of the gates in terms of who gets in, gets out. The Taliban is supposed to be in charge of preventing terror attacks on Americans and Afghans, people who they want you killed by the way. And Tony Blinken is like Well, you know they're in charge, and when asked whether he is comfortable with that His answer is we're focused on the future. Mhm. Mm. That's good. Well, the good news is that at least if Biden isn't with it, and Tony Blinken is right, I mean, Tony Blinken obviously is on top of this thing Here is Tony Blinken talking about the people in Afghanistan that he's been in touch with. What we've seen major is, uh, is also pretty remarkable. Go back a week. The government fell. And by the way, I was on the phone with with President Karzai the day before, when he was telling me his intent, as he put it, to fight to the death. Well, the next day he was gone. The military collapsed. Um he was on the phone, but last week he was on the phone with President Karzai. That's weird. Reason it's weird is because coming. Karzai has not been.
The Tides Are Turning Against Biden
"Big front page above the fold cover of usa today. Who is responsible for this catastrophe. Who is responsible. Well we start with the by administration but then you can go down the list and say well who put the bite administration in power and i keep getting these cautiously optimistic notes from people saying is he gonna run is coming back. Is he going to be back in. Twenty twenty four. Are we going to get. I mean we had four years. Yes there was media hysteria. I was thinking about something that that That goofy nicole wallace said on. Msnbc the other day one of the one of the sycophants who is desperately trying to spin the disaster of of a speech that biden gave and she said ninety. Five percent of the press corps will criticize biden speech but ninety five percent of americans agreed with it. And it hit me. I was thinking about this last night. That was the trump era ninety. Five percent of the media was determined to destroy the trump presidency but a vast majority of americans were grateful for the robust economy for building a wall along the border for respect given to the military to law enforcement to the rule of law and this change is happening
How Did Biden Fumble Afghanistan?
"Morning glory america bones or high candidate. You hear at joined by jake. Sherman of punchbowl news on the most shameful day. I've been broadcasting in thirty years. Not the most shocking gay. That was nine eleven. This is the most shameful day for america that have been on the air in thirty years. Good morning jake how are you. How are you good. I wanna play for you. A number of reaction. Get your reaction your political reporter. I don't expect national security commentary from you. But i'd love your political commentary on various things that are said here is former secretary. Mike's state. Mike pompeo on with fox news with chris wallace yesterday cut number ten. He should be less focused on trying to a blame. It on someone else solving the problem of making sure that we protect and defend american security. Chris it's worth noting. This did not happen on our watch. We reduced our forces significantly. The taliban didn't advance on capitals all across afghanistan. So it's just a fact that this is happening under the bite administrations leadership now. Almost a quarter of a way into his first term. This is this is not the way leaders lead by pointing backwards. We had a bad deal. We inherited the jcp away. We got out of it. We secured america from the risk from iran. We inherited a horrible deal in syria. Where isis controlled real estate. This is of great britain. We crush them. Every president confronts challenges. This president confronted a challenging afghanistan. He is utterly failed to protect the american people from this challenge. Jake sherman. what do you think i mean. He's right right. I mean every president does a set of circumstances that are beyond its control And has to deal with them and i think that's there's no doubt about that. I mean listen the the the larger Question to me here. And this is going to be overarching. You is how did this happen. How how was. The united states is intelligent so flawed it's twins so app and it was exc- and even even so was executed so poorly.
The Complete and Abject Failure of Biden's Afghanistan Withdrawal Will Define His Legacy
"Video of afghans clinging to airplanes as they're taking off this is saigon on steroids. This is a whole ariffin collapse. And it is a complete an abject failure of the bite administration and everybody knows it. Everybody knows it. Jim acosta blasting the biden administration. Well jim don't mean to be a smart aleck here. But you helped deliver biden to the world you helped deliver the by administration with your antics against president trump. This never happened under the trump watch. This didn't happen with donald trump. This is joe biden's legacy and he is in the bunker again. He's back in the basement hiding it's unreal jim jordan on tv. Where is he joe. Piscopo down the hall. Izzy sick is the il. We got a catastrophe that impacts the american people for twenty years. America's have watched their loved ones fight in afghanistan after the actions of nine eleven and the terrorists and before for joe biden to be on vacation. Do you know what the white house has done. They send out a picture of him sitting in this huge empty room with a bunch of empty seats staring blankly at a bunch of computer screens on the wall. That's the commander in chief.
U.S. Calls on OPEC and Its Allies to Pump More Oil
"The white house is urging opec to boost oil production the group announced plans in july to gradually restore cuts made at the start of the pandemic by unleashing millions of barrels of crude over the next two years but in a statement today national security adviser. Jake sullivan said that those increases are not enough. As countries around the world worked toward economic recovery brent crude fell after the white house's announcement before later recovering the bite administration's move comes as it sought to push back against concerns about inflation
All Things Point to a GOP Landslide in 2022
"Of this points to one thing landslide in two thousand twenty two. If not we're done do you get it. You gotta stay home. You can sit home georgia because you're worried about the integrity the election. Sorry don't get mad at me. Don't sit on that. you've you're going to sit home. You gotta go vote. We've got to get this country back and people are fighting and legislatures are fighting to ensure election integrity. Of course we're worried about mail-in ballots in california. Look in the studio. I'm here in dallas. Fort worth by buddy. Tom gave me. Larry elder for governor sign. And i got it in my background. Look at mike online dot com right now and go to the watch mike on tv. You'll see larry's big smiling face. This is no time for sitting on the fence. There's no time for weak needs. We gotta fight. Look what they're doing to this country. And this party is represented by andrew cuomo and joe biden and bernie sanders and nancy pelosi and all the rest of them and sadly and look at what's happening around the world. This bite administration is a disaster across the board domestically foreign. Go ask people in afghanistan. how biden's presidencies out for him. It's unreal
Senate Moving Forward on Biden's $3.5 Trillion 'Human Infrastructure' Plan
"C going for it all. This is a very good day. We have come to an agreement. After all. Long, hard negotiating the stops and starts. We're here. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is the Senate is ready for a final vote on the $1.1 trillion infrastructure plan. But that's not all. Wait. There's more. The Democrats are introducing a $3.5 trillion budget resolution that addresses most of President Biden's a debt agenda. And right now we're looking at the political fight ahead on that, with ABC News contributor Sarah Isgur So Sarah, at least looking at the $1.1 trillion bill a lot of bipartisan support, and some said that that President Biden back when he was saying this could get done was You know, kind of, you know, being whispering in the clouds not realistic, but it looks like it's close to getting done. Finally so we could have up to 18 Plus Republicans voting Yes, at 11 A.m. Today in Washington, D. C, including Mitch McConnell, the Republican minority leader. What makes it all the more impressive is that Donald Trump has repeatedly said that Republicans need to vote against this bill. It gives Joe Biden a win that he didn't get. And he wants them to vote. No. And you have 18 plus Republicans, basically ignoring the former president, which is a an interesting break within the Republican Party. At the same time. Once this bill passes the Senate, it will go to the house where Speaker Pelosi has said She's not going to bring it up for a vote because she wants to see the $3.5 trillion spending deal. Get voted on first. So the bite administration, you know, it's one step forward two steps back. Plenty of sunshine Today after the morning brought highs in the sixties and seventies at the beach could see some low eighties in the valleys. It's 507 This is morning edition from NPR News. I'm Rachel Martin. And I'm no well King. Good morning. Early in his presidency, Joe Biden signed an executive order that aimed to reunite kids who'd been separated from their parents at the US Mexico border. This week. He starts trying to get it done. Four families will be allowed to reunite in the US It's the first step in trying to undo the family separation policy that was put in place by the Trump administration with me now is NPR's Joel Rose, who covers immigration. Good morning, Joel. Hey, no. Well, what do you know about these four families? Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro My carcass was asked about them on a call with reporters. He did not give a lot of details. But he did say that they held originally from Mexico and Honduras, and that Sam had been separated as far back as 2017. Even before the Trump administration officially announced zero tolerance policy at the border that led to thousands of family separations. Here's my artists. They are Children who were three years old at the time of separation. They are mothers who fled extremely dangerous situations in their home countries. Holding out hope to reunite with their Children. Secretary. My artist said that these families will get humanitarian parole, which is a temporary permission to enter the country. Normally, it's given to relatives of people who are seriously ill things like that. My artist said they're giving humanitarian parole on a case by case basis, which means they might not do this for every other family and again. It is just temporary, just temporary, but I imagine very, very good news for these families. And yet it's only four of them. Why? Why so few? Yeah. The Biden administration says these families are not easy to find. Many other parents were deported years ago. Also, the Trump administration did not keep good records. President Biden created a task force on family reunification shortly after taking office, and these are the first reunifications to happen under that task force. I've been covering this issue for several years, and this feels like a milestone because it is such a departure from the previous administration, which had resisted allowing these parents back into the U. S. At the same time, as you point out, the numbers are really small, especially when you consider that there are more than 1000 families that are still separated, according to the Biden administration, more than 1000. So then what are what are advocates for immigrants saying about this? Well. They welcomed the announcement. But at the same time, they expressed frustration at the slow pace of reunification. So far, legal art is with the A C l U, which fought the Trump Administration for years in court over family separation. And is now pushing the Biden administration to do more for these families. We're happy for these four families, of course, but we're not about to start celebrating. We know how much work is left to be done. We assume and hope the bite administration recognizes that as well. Large and the A. C L U R in settlement negotiations with the Biden administration over exactly what kind of relief these families will get in the long run that could include some kind of permanent legal status. Maybe also support services, possibly financial compensation. In other words, advocates want the administration to go way beyond just letting these families in with temporary status. Okay, So that's what's going on this weekend. Then what is the longer term timeline here? Well, the Biden task Force had says they've agreed to continue doing family reunifications while they hammer out some of these details, and that these are just the first of many reunifications to come. A more cynical take on the timing would be that the administration is eager to announce some good news about immigration. They've been getting hammered by Republican politicians who blame Biden's policies for a surge of unauthorized migrants at the southern border. And the administration is also getting an earful from immigrant advocates who say they need to do more to get rid of his predecessors, hardline immigration policies and they need to do it faster. NPR's Joel Rose, thanks to all Welcome. Much has been written about how the pandemic came to be. Not so well known are the details about how it was able to spread so quickly. Here in the U. S. Author Michael Lewis has written a new book that fills in those blanks. It's called the Premonition and one of the people who sees the real danger of the virus before the rest of the country. Is a public health doctor in California named Charity Dean. No one should have to be his brave his charity Dean Woz as a global public health officer to do her job. She had to be brave in a way that brought tears to my eyes and that and when I first met her, I realized I had a character because all over her house were like these post, it notes, reminding her to be brave. Like like they was once like courage is a muscle memory or the tallest oak in the forest was once just a little nut. She had all these kind of inspirational things, and when you get into the story of what charity didn't have to do on the ground Your hair stands up on the back of your neck. Louis writes about how Dean tried and tried to get the state officials around her toe. Look at the data and act to make sure the virus didn't spread. She put it all on the line, her reputation her job. Meanwhile, across the country, there was another group of doctors led by Carter measure trying to do the same thing at the federal level. It.

While the FBI and the permanent justice by the way, we're chasing down master my criminal Rudy Giuliani yesterday in New York There were people in New York who are concerned with actual crime going on. I suppose you must be wondering, you know, if they have the manpower to go ahead and do that, Why don't they spend so that manpower? Helping us fight the crime that is not absolutely endemic in New York City. Because the crime since Biden took office is going up and up and up and you wonder why. Let's see. Is there any relationship whatsoever to A very lenient administration. Soft on crime to crime going up or commanders Don't be a fool. Of course not. Because Joe Biden he's concerned about things is concerned about them now. Now. Well, that doesn't wash it for New York City Council member Joe Borelli, who said We're seeing spikes and crimes that we have not seen in decades. Unfortunately on, it's very difficult. Spice and crime they've not seen for more than a decade. You know what's happening? Part of it is We're running out of police officers. But The bite administration hopes a retooled, more clearly worded version will be seen is more credible by concern. Teachers and parents. Sidebar, Your honor. And one of the reasons is not. In essence, it's not entirely different. Not substantially different than what Trump did. The issue with what the Trump administration did is they have so many political appointees in the CDC changing things all around. People didn't trust him. So the policy the plan is not that different. The implementation Bite administration is hoping planning for to be more trustworthy. Document goes on the same This is a 35 page report. "And the by administration has come in and this is this is a very apparent to me because I went down to the border numerous times to meet with Border patrol to see what was going on with these asylum cases. They're acting like we didn't learn anything. We don't have any data, and we didn't find out the truth. What was really happening was people were showing up and gaming the system that's help and they wanted to come into the country not show up for their hearings. It wasn't really about asylum. They were pretending they wanted asylum, and they didn't qualify for asylum. If they did show up for the hearings. That was the overwhelming reality that situation. Um, the bite administration seems to me is just trying to get away with either erasing or rewriting that recent history and going back to the rhetoric of. Well, if we care about people, we're just gonna let them into the country. How do you see this playing out? Look, Buck. It's not gonna play out. Well, okay, because the thing about it is is that there is this focus on, you know, reversing the trump era border policies and all of this other stuff. There is the focus on all this stuff because But we always know that the left puts illegal immigrants first, right and we always know that they're going to move forward on this stuff because they want an entire new face. Voters. That is what this is all about. And we know that that this is gonna happen through their policies. We've we've seen this stuff before. We've seen all of this stuff happen even under the Obama administration as well. When you look at the data, you look at the facts. You look at the amount and I believe that it was something around the lines of 68% of household that have an illegal immigrant in them have some sort of government assistance. Their entire networks and organizations of people in our larger and small sets, smaller cities all across the country that exists to basically direct these people to social services to grow government. That is what this is all about. And the craziest thing is that we have only been under about a month of this fight administration, and it is like they are are taking the Obama administration sort of worse, greatest hits and they're doing the exact same thing that Obama did the exact same thing that the American people rejected. In 2016. It's really kind of unbelievable. Rob. What do you think right now should be the focus of the argument that we're making two people who are still open minded about why I was trying to help you. This Don't hate Democrats. I don't hate Joe Biden. This isn't about spite or angry, the other things. I just think that their ideas are really bad. I just think their ideas are going to make the country worse going to make people less able to prosper to get along to count on the rule of law. What's the heart of the argument for you now to those who are willing to listen at this phase? About why the Biden the Biden Focus is going to take us in the wrong direction. What's your pitch? My pitches. You can't focus on feelings. You can't focus on language. You can focus on hyperbole. You have to focus on the actual facts yet the focus on data and outcome We know what the outcomes are going to be for these things. We know what the data says. But it's just It's very hard to come back that because you have a left and an entire media and entertainment complex that is that it exists to prop them up. That talks about a lot about you know Now the new word is Equity is its equity and it's equality. And it's all of these words that are designed to make everybody feel good. Actually end up destroying lives in the process. And so I think the pitch the people that are on the left right now, the people that are actually independent leaning because look, people bet on the left there. They're not really gonna flip over, especially people whose entire identities are wrapped around and being liberal. And like I said, I look liberals worship liberalism because they don't worship anything else right? Because there's a like religion and all that stuff. But the focus to independence people that really can be swayed. I believe the independence of the people that decided the 2020 election. The independent that we're just hired. Honestly, uh, you know, frankly, speaking of a lot of the drama that that came with the Trump administration, even though he did really amazing things, so the pitch to these independence is look at what is actually happening. Don't be swayed by you know what entertainment media or what actors or what Hollywood celebrities they're saying. Look at what is actually happening and look at how it will affect Our country. These buck, I'm not a fatalist. I'm a pretty optimistic guy. And I am doing what I need to do to make sure that my life is good and that my life stays good. And on a good path, But I do not believe that these next four years are going to be good years for our nation. I don't either. I think it would be very good years for China, though, so anyone who's looking to make some investments I'm big. So we'll definitely have something to talk about every month. I'm time. Okay. Good. I have some news for you, though. If it is a fireside chat, Make sure sitting firewood up away from the fire If you might fall asleep and fall in the fire Hey, I appreciate you being here. Yes, that is that is what is going this upcoming in the class action lawsuit against President Joe Biden is 97,000 people fell asleep into a fire over the weekend. Thank you very much. There is If you're ready, go Work. If you really think the election was stolen, and you want to go change that, or if you just want to curl into a ball, you're going to half To do something Maurer than you've done, but it might always say you always. You always do what you always done. You'll get what you always got. And as conservatives if we lose with dignity and keep losing with dignity, we're just going to give up our nation to this socialism that we see unfolding before us. And I'm not trying to go into some conspiracy theory craziness. That's what we're seeing, and that's what we are marching to right this minute. So we have to do something. What is that something? It's going to be a lot more than going. They so of us. You're gonna have to stop crying in start activating and The Time magazine has uncovered essentially how the Democrats mobilized and what they did to ensure that they would win this election in 2020. We, as conservatives have to take Pages from this playbook, and we'll act accordingly. This is how the game is played, and this is how they played the game. There's a guy that works for the F L CIA. He had some theories about the election. Use them. I'm a little concerned about it, partly because of President Trump. He didn't want Trump to win. So he's like, What can I do? Well, there's a bunch of organizations out there that I can work with. Because this guy is good at data, I guess so He looks at voter data and looks at where people vote. He looks at their ages and calculates. Okay, how many people do we need to vote to get Joe Biden and office? Do you know that was gonna be some hurdles, And this was even before Cove. It So he starts working on a project. And when he does, he invites all these organizations under the zoom calls is that Hey, we need to chat. We need to share information. We need to share voter data. We need to share out reached out and we need share all the things that we know with all these organizations so soon enough He's zoom calls grow to be hundreds of people giving five minute presentations all this information everybody's taking down. Everybody's on the same page, so from that moment they go, and they spread that information out through their circles. And as the pandemic started to increase, and they saw what happened in the primary, particularly in New York, and some other places that had trouble with mail in ballots and couldn't figure it out there like we got to shore up the system. So they short of the system. They got money from the federal government. They got money from Facebook, one of the Chan's Zuckerberg Foundation. It's Facebook. It is It's Mark Zuckerberg's charitable arm. Correct $300 million from that, almost as much as the federal government gave So you can see where this is going and you could see where Facebook ties into this, and Mike said this earlier in the show the real power in this country. Sure it lies in Congress, but the real power in this country is Google. Facebook, more so than even Twitter. But if you had Twitter to that group they control so much of how the information flows in this country that they could delete something they could make something irrelevant. They could hide something just like that. So when you see $300 million from Zuckerberg and Facebook to help fund mail in ballots and election structure, you go Wait a second here and you noticed that the left wasn't crying about Big Tex take over take manipulation. It was The Conservatives and the Democrats in the left media did a good job at making that look like a conspiracy theory when they were dragging the tech CEOs in front of fur in for congressional hearings. They were it was Democrats being nice and sweet to them, and Republicans being mean to them is essentially what it was. So this falls right into line as Zuckerberg fell in the line and opened up his checkbook. You know for in the name of charity and gave $300 million to the cause of working with local and state governments. Additionally, Zuckerberg had some so called civil rights leaders over to his house for dinner. They had a conversation about disinformation. Esos October's years are perking up. He's like Who, Because what is that cupboard want power and control. You ever watched the social network? I don't know how true it is, but they paint the picture of Mark Zucker Burg as basically a control freak. He's a worm. The greatest me my saw. Is that there's a domino's He almost tweeted this out. There was a little dominate the very beginning sake. Website to rate hotter, not for girls. That's what Dr Brooks original intention was, and then they have the Big domino now at the end, which is Facebook at this moment, so there's a Structure in place that they gamed. They watched the film. Got ready for us. The opponent, Donald Trump. And they beat us in the game because they knew the playbook and they had the end around. I knew the place to call so This. Can be done on our part. We got to get our message down. We got to expound on freedom and encourage younger people. That freedom is the way we need to have a message for black Americans in particular. We need to tell them that the Democrats you've been voting for since 1964 since the Civil Rights Act of past Haven't done much for you, and we know we haven't either, but we're trying to come to terms with that. Because we won't offer you freedom on offer your path. We got do the same for Hispanic Americans because they're growing. Ah, larger part. Off the electorate. We gotta go to cities. We gotta have a better city structure about a city message because look at all those cities. Even vote for Democrats for years. What have they done for you? Now? Here's our plan. The Keystone Pipeline, obviously devastating for a lot of blue collar workers certainly makes us less energy. Independent, less secure, makes no sense and, of course, the suspension on the leasing on oil, federal lanes and waters. If that's my permanent in Texas, we lose about 120,000 jobs nationwide about a million jobs just over the next couple of years again doesn't make us more energy secure. So big big mistakes, I think addressing Senator Schumer, Look, we have two priorities in America right now, defeating Cove. It In rebuilding this economy. That means the focus on main Street businesses in the jobless and in in this covert package. Meanwhile, as you said, our troops, National Guard soldiers Some of whom I have served with, you know, 200 came from Hawaii went to Washington, D. C answered that call to serve like everybody else on Lee to be mistreated in this way, I know to answer your question. The militarization of our nation's capital was not only unnecessary. Yes, we need to make sure that this transition of power happens peacefully and safely. But to send that message both to the American people and to the world that somehow our nation's capital is is under attack and threat of the siege of taking over. I just don't think that's the message that we want to send to the American people and to the world, especially as we we conduct this peaceful transition of power, said it all along the problem that Tulsi Gabbert has as a Democrat. Is that she is not Vicious and hateful and nasty enough to be a Democrat. She's she's very left wing in her policies, but she doesn't hate Republicans and she loves the military. And if you don't hate Republicans, and you actually love the military, you have those two things together very hard to be a Democrat in good standing with the left wing apparatus very hard. Basically impossible is why they They come after Told you say, Oh, she's an Assad apologist all this stuff. And remember on policy. She's very left wing. I know that But she doesn't hate her opponents. And that's not really allowed these days. You have to hate you have to hate your opponents. Then you also if they're Republicans You also have her pointing out that the whole The whole positioning here of this thing with the National Guard where they're sleeping on the floor in the capital, the photos of it, this was all orchestrated by Democrats. Because they really live in this constant state of hysteria, and they want they want people to live in a state of hysteria mean that the Democrat view of the world is But there should be A domestic counterterrorism fight against Trump supporters because there's such a threat. Because the white nationalists are going to storm the White House at any moment and take it over and all this other stuff, they say That's just not true. But if you can create a world that you can create an environment where enough people believe that Well, there's a lot of political advantage in it. You see, because what? Why do you have to treat your opponents? With decency and kindness and respect. Why would you do any of that? If, in fact you didn't think that they were people worthy of those things because they're a party off. You know, neo Nazis? White nationalist all these things. Do not Do not do not forget that On Dure, you are going to be bombarded. And I think you begin to make deposits in the integrity bank when you when you're honest with the press, and therefore the people, and I and Was glad to see that and I know we're going to see more of it. Yeah, it's just gonna be all all truth. E stuff from Joe Biden. Sure. Lot of truth stuff coming out from the bite administration. You're also seeing that Jen Psaki is Good at this job. Why exactly? How is she? A particularly effective. Communicator. Um, that's that's what I would It's what I would say how she defective communicator. I would ask that question. And how is the bite administration going to handle the continued influence of the left during all of this? I mean, the real left the socialist left. Remember that Socialist left that has still has has big designs what they want to do for the country. Well, here's what Bernie Sanders is saying about. How the agenda is, in fact very much. It's still alive for Democrats on the Socialist left, and they've even got a plan for how they're going to do some of this play eight. Well, the devil is in the details of what we want to do. And when we want to do it, and when we have to do it, what we are talking about, by the way are two separate reconciliation package is number one. The emergency one right now get direct checks, get those checks into people's Pockets right now, so they can feed their families and make sure that people are not infected from that. Always make sure that states have the funds they need to get vaccines into people's lives. That's what we've got to do right now. And then, as soon as that is done, we have to rebuild this economy. Unemployment is much, much too high wages much, much too low. There are structural problems that we have had we have ignored for years. Climate change is a real hero doing all of that, through this process that you criticize Republicans for using this. These are major policy change. This means for major policy changes. But the devil is in the details. And I criticized Republicans yet for using reconciliation to give tax breaks to billionaires to create a situation with large, profitable corporations. Now pay zero in federal income taxes. Yes, I did criticize him for that. And if they want to criticize me for helping to feed Children who are hungry was senior citizens in this country are isolated and alone and don't have enough food. Criticized me. I think it's the appropriate step forward. Whatever we need to do, I'm gonna do I could criticize me for trying to feed Children. Go ahead, you know? Yeah, That's right, Bernie. There were moments where I thought that I might not make it, so I just feel I feel like we've accomplished a lot. We rescued our democracy for all of us, and we're not done yet. And so I am feeling really hopeful, joyful and ready to get to work. This bill that Biden is proposing would also change the word used to describe undocumented immigrants from alien to non citizen. How significant is this? I started my organizing journey because someone called my dad, my family and I aliens that needed to go back home, and they used other words that are not safe for NPR. But I do believe that it is an important symbol. It's immensely part of our healing journey. And, you know, we need to make it real. I think that We are ready to move beyond proposals and promises that ensuring that we have this. Congress passed this legislation that makes change from people millions of people's lives and I'm ready to get to work. You mentioned the next six months is really important. Biden's nominee to lead the Department of Homeland Security is in the midst of his Senate confirmation process. Alejandro Mayorkas would be the first Latino and first immigrant in that post. What expectations do you have for him if he's confirmed What we know is that we cannot lead with detention and deportation. The dark legacy of Trump leaves behind this one that has caused so much pain and trauma and deaths of millions of People in their families. And so my Yorkers and the Biden administration must prioritize the safety and healing of immigrant communities and ensuring that we are Undoing the worst of Trump's attacks. And so I am ready to continue to fight because this is not a political game for us. Our lives are on the line, and I believe that with the steps that we've taken the first couple of days And the undeniable power of our people will be able to make these things real in our lives. Gracia.

"Living to the Bite administration. Let me just bring up something that we really haven't had time to talk about. Over the past several months. Joe Biden Through all this chaos. Of course, there have been many things that have been detrimental to a smooth start for the Biden administration. One thing that Biden has had is is, uh, cover because the media has been chasing one story after another about Donald Trump is we have from the From the start on. Joe Biden has not gotten close Look that most president president elects have gotten. We certainly remember Bill Clinton, for instance, started his administration in the rockiest of ways. This is something Had Biden and his team are going to be noticing over the pass of the coming weeks. They're suddenly going to feel the hot glare of those klieg lights that are being turned from Donald Trump now on, gonna be focusing squarely on them. I mean, this is honestly, the funny is this is honestly the funniest thing Joe Scarborough said. I don't know. Maybe ever. Yeah, all of a sudden, now. Yeah. Joe Biden is really gonna be on the hot seat. Media is really gonna be kicking the tires now. Oh, sure, Now that they foisted this guy on the American public now that they suppress the hunter Biden laptop story inactivity. Shut down a news organization, The New York Post from being able to share true information. Going to a presidential like presidential candidates Fitness for office. Now that all that has happened, they're going to be like the really serious journos. Not now they're going to say, Who is this Biden guy? Maybe maybe we should ask him quite nothing. That's not gonna happen, but they're going to say, See, this is the whole game with journalists. Oh, it's gonna be tough. We don't want to have to be so tough on Joe, but, you know That's what's gonna be happening here. No, it is not. They are going to be giving this guy the equivalent of a shiatsu massage. Okay, they're gonna be Joe Biden is going to get the kid glove treatment like nothing else you've ever seen. We all know it. In fact, not only will they be refusing to criticize him, they will viciously attack any actual critics that emerged. "Talking about the headline in the editorial page of the Los Angeles Times today. Make California make America California again. Yeah, that's a think tank for the bite administration. What do you think of that? Look, we've got going on here. We talked about it a little bit utility cost. Homelessness out of control, crime and violence. Just deplorable mitigation of covert. And how about that? How many people are losing their power today? Order with the winds? I haven't checked today, but we know it's a regular occurrence. And the most technologically advanced state in the union. What, perhaps among the most technologically advanced watts of geography in the entire world. You want to spread that to other parts of the world? Let's get out of those parts of this country. Let's get your calls. 808 34 15 30 was checking with Clinton patiently waiting in Pennsylvania. Clint Good afternoon. Welcome to the conversation. Hey, Donna, you don't drive first time caller. Well, thank you. Welcome. I want to. Just basically, I was just turned on the radio. And you're wrong about the gentleman and he killed somebody. Yeah. Uh, it's hard because I'm on the CONN. I've been off both for what a few years. This. What? I believe personally. Democrats have a lot to deal with this, then we're probably gonna have been trying to push the reform. I'm getting this off then Carol But I believe the Democrats have a lot asshole or a zoo. Not wanted doing it yourself well and of course, the stuff. I don't know if you heard the whole story, But California lives with other guys of S. B. 54 Senate Bill 54, which effectively made California a sanctuary state, meaning that people would not be deported from California. Now, this guy, this particular defendant who now has taken his own life, but he was he had been in and out of custody since the 19 nineties, charged with several different violent crimes. And there was a detainer on him. He was on a nice hold is what is called because the immigration and customs enforcement actually puts a hold on him when the last time he was arrested, But the local authorities were powerless to toe hold him on that detainer because of California's law, so his criminal history speaks for itself. But in addition of that, by the way, I don't think he's evil or committed these crimes because he's An illegal immigrant, not by any stretch of the imagination. I truly believe the vast majority are looking for a better life when they come here. Nonetheless, this his status as such, provides authorities with the unique opportunity to get rid of him and not have to deal with him in the future. And the woman he killed by the way was his girlfriend. And and mother of his child, three year old daughter who was right there to witness the event. So I think you're right. But is the fact that California has taken this on where they will not? Cooperate with ice in terms of dealing with people who are the subjects of detainers. So that's my point on it. Now. I don't know how that how that how you assess that generally tend to believe you're right as it relates to the partisan approach toward towards criminal justice. However, Don't forget criminal justice reform, which you've got to be very, very careful when you hear that term has worked its way It seeped into the GOP side of the Alice Well, and we have classic examples of cases where Leadership in the GOP have had released. I think predictably violent people from custody and I think we will see that come home to roost is well, What are you have former California? Yeah, I'm actually from El Crow. Okay. All right. So I mean, I've come from a broken a broken home. And I got it stealing stuff, and I wanted water present. I've learned my lesson. I'm a rags to riches. If you will. I'm now making almost $80,000 a year driving truck. Good for you good for you that it can be done, And I think you would probably attest to the notion. That is about what you do not about what others do, but about what you do is that correct? Yes. Like it's not a lot of times. I've seen both good and bad cops. A lot of lot of some of the ones that that was, like. Do I want whatever? Um, but I've actually it one second. Sure, if that I have the utmost respect for Because of the way he treated me. Was like, Okay, well, it's a possibility that better life out there. And that's the reason why Fantastic. It Z great to hear him. By the way. You say that about any walk.

"I certainly would support investigating the president of the United States. What he has done in the four years that he has served as president is simply unconscionable. I think criminal in some cases is placed this country in danger, and the president of the United States is supposed to be about making sure That the country is safe and secure, and he has done everything possible to undermine our democracy. And I don't think that could be overlooked and I don't know what I would do. And I know that biting wants to move on. He does not want to be bogged down in investigations. But I think that the president of the United States should be investigated and we should send a message across the world that we will not tolerate the undermining of our demise. Procedure in the way that this president has done. This is Congresswoman Maxine Waters, vocalizing the thoughts that many many Democrats share, which is that they It would not even be enough for Trump to leave. It's not even enough. If Trump loses, he's done. He's finished. They want retribution. They want to get him. And there's so many levels. You can look at this on where it's clearly insane. It's clearly crazy. There's so many, but I would just say this first and foremost, they've investigated him for four years. The throne. So much at Trump to investigate David. They had the Russia collusion probe in the head, impeachment and more witnesses in the congress running that in the end, they've had the Southern District of New York and they've had the district attorney in Manhattan, and they had all these investigators They're investigating the Trump Trump campaign for Russia collusion. They're investigating the Trump Foundation for like tax for other Um, I mean, all they've done is investigate this guy for four years with everything. They've got every tool their disposal. They leaked his tax returns because they couldn't get them through other processes. Right. So all they've done is harassed this guy with Whatever B s investigations they possibly good, and now you've got a minimum member of Congress and she's not the only one there many others who are gonna want to go after him. When he leaves Now I'm gonna tell you this right now. Don't think that they're going to. They're going to Sick. The DOJ. On trump like an attack dog. I don't think they're going to do that. What I do think will happen. Is that they will allow it to occur in a lesser level of government. Now that that's not to say. That That's not to say that there's A not no real risk here for the trumps When I say Lester level I just mean further down the federal government, so you'll have the district attorney Cy Vance in New York will look at The Trump organization. And I think they will investigate them. But they're going to try to take it away from the DOJ level at least initially and go lower down, so it seems like It's not coming from the bite administration. But I'm until these for now, these people play hardball. You know, they remember this. You know Dan Ashe D'Souza, who is Honestly, one of these one of the conservatives that I used to read when I was, you know, a young guy coming up in the ranks and you know, right in college and right after the next just Jews who I've had on this show many times, and he's a friend of the show. He was treated differently for a completely to say it's nonviolent is even exaggeration. It's He gave $15,000 to a congressional candidate who was sure to lose. But he was he doubled up. Essentially, I think you gave to $15,000 contributions. It wasn't supposed to do that. Usually you pay a fine and you're told. Don't do anything else. Illegal for a year. And, you know, we'll just let this go. They made him go to a halfway house. They wanted to send him to federal prison over that. That was the Obama DOJ and that was acting through pre parole or who was one of Obama's little henchman and That's the way that they treat their political opponents. They use the law as a weapon. So while I'm telling you that I don't think the DOJ is gonna immediately because it's they wanted to be a little bit more subtle, you know, they wanted to be a little bit more plausible deniability. At least at first, but they are going to investigate people. You know, Maxine Waters is Just saying what a lot of them are smart enough not to say out loud at this point. In Congress and you know other Democrats. But what she's saying is a sentiment that they broadly share, which is that they want to see. They want to see, uh, punishment. They want vengeance against Trump and against his supporters. I think you're going to see I arrest investigations of people who were very vocal allies of Trump. I think you're going to see deterrence extremely hard to turns prosecutions of anyone around Trump for very minor things. And they'll tell us. I mean, they'll be gaslighting us will say. Oh, sorry. No, This has nothing to do with the fact that you know we're not. We're not. We're not going after Corey Lou in Taos Key. We're not going after Steve Bannon, or we're not going because of Their association with Trump. We're going after them because you know they broke the law in some serious way and we'll all say, really. Just that's that's the we've seen what they did to Roger Stone. We've seen what they were willing to do. And a Kind of court of public opinion to Brett Kavanaugh. I mean, they try to ruin and destroy people. So one thing that we do need to be prepared for is that even if they get their wish There's gonna be no, There's no outrage. There's no real call for unity. There's no willingness to be better than they've been in the trump era. The left is going to be out for scalps. They're going to be out to make examples of people on you may have this this cub all of the swamp at the top with Biden and other people, you know from the Obama administration. That you know people like blank in and carry, who seem or just in mediocrities who seem relatively innocuous, but it's going to be you know, whoever's running the civil rights division at the DOJ. It's going to be a U. S. Attorney for the Southern district or for the For the Eastern District of Virginia. And it's gonna be those players in this who, without even having to be told by the Mafia boss in this case, Biden No, who has to be made an example of know who needs to be punished. And abide in era. So I'm telling you this now because I think we're gonna have to Revisit this. Just give it time. Think of all the criminal prosecutions of Republicans that were effectively show trials if they got to the trial phase, or that we're just investigations where the process was the punishment. Rick Perry, Chris Christie, Ted Stevens of the guy. What's his name? The governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker. I mean, just go. There's a whole list. I can you think of all the time I get enforced Trump at the very top of the list with Russia collusion. So get ready for law fair from the Biden regime. But look for it to be a little bit cloaked a little bit insidious..

What about the relationship in the Middle East that you say in your Bloomberg opinion column that many Israelis could be sorry to see Trump go? Yeah, he's been very popular in Israel. He's personally very close. Netanyahu, Let's face it. Netanyahu is another highly in danger leader under significant legal challenge. I think, however, that Joe Biden has long standing relationships. In Israel. He's also well like generally speaking in the Arab world. My guess is that very quickly, you'll see the Israelis in the Gulf Arabs and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Become quite content with Joe Biden and his team. Okay on the business front. Obviously, the tariffs pretty much leveled against most of the of the countries of the world by the Trump Administration. If you include Europe, Canada and Japan and China and such Where do you think we might see the early action in which of those cases? I think earliest will be with Europe. This is going to be a team that does not want to be in a confrontational situation with our best pool of allies, partners and friends, and that would be Europe.
