And what's very interesting to understand how it started and these started. I was there this weekend. Starting a community By the ocean called the sunday with cheese tomato community where there's great way so they're a little surfing community but other than that. The you know there's a lot of people like approach people and and basically they by the group cold hope cows at started doing a lot of price for the community and they beach the alf using bitcoin to fund some other projects and some bitcoin her gave them. I don't know how much they they gave them. Some money and that they distributed out forty dollars to different people in the community right and they did this story salah brother but it's fascinating The the point where. I wanna get to what. They started teaching people about bitcoin about The lightning network. Which is one of the coolest developments for those who've either no. It's basically have become blockchain. He's very secure. And it's very decentralized and then you have but but still like that security comes with certain downfalls such as speed of payments or certain fees at to pay to network if if there's a lot of beacon transactions and what the lightning that those layer to solution that allows basically bitcoin to meet transacted instantly with with with a pretty good finality and basically almost like pretty much free so this is very new. it's berry gherardi coal in most of the bitcon community. But when you went someday they they community has educated themselves the we use bitcoin lightning and they basically it all works with beacon like my mind was exploding because i would see like i would buy like a store where you would. The Traders Journey: Clarity Understanding Your Plan
"Welcome to the of crypt. I show once again. Version of the traders junie tonight will cover around. I guess the The free checklist to my checklist. So once you found the trade you know what sort of things do you need for. Tried to be tried. But this this is going assad from the actual checklist to find a trade. Obviously i've got three trading strategies for those that don't know three trading strategies they all have checklist of essential factors that must be met and bonus factors that helped to build from ability. And if you've got a couple of trades. John pick which one or which ones to go with. But just for those of you know the trading strategies and trying to work out what constitutes trade to an investment. We'll trade for me requires at least two things. It needs to have an entry and the stop loss. Now i say many people talking about trade. They've taken bit but they they basically don't have a stop loss and it's not really trading buying something and hoping it goes up that's cool investing essentially you know buying it and going well a white until it gets back up to the before still. That's not a great strategy. It's okay for investing if you're looking to be buying solid projects that you believe in long term but that's not trading to me. You need to have an entry in a stop loss plan as well so getting into a trade is one thing was the entry point is where you enter the stop losses where you get at if If you think it's going against you if the reason for entering the trade becomes invalidated this is where you'll stop plus be so they're three things you must have for it to be a try. The third thing as i say is a plan. Now you going to scale out. I take some profit on the way maybe minimize the risk or are you going to take a full profit. You're going to take the entire profit. Two three two one four to one or do you feel as though might be a good time to let this bad boy run. Trial your stop-loss higher lows in an uptrend as they are set and that way you can look to take advantage of potentially much much bigger moves. So that's really really important to understand. What a trade actually constitutes for you and then you can go about how. You're going to plan that something else that you want to consider is what sort of trying to be a you. Are you trying to trade for dollars. Are you trying to try to increase your bitcoin stack for example or you trying to trade so you try to increase your theory balanced now. These are the typical markets. You can try against terror. You can try it against bitcoin. Obviously and you can try it against the theory and there are some other platform tokens. You can try it against such as bonnet. it's talking that sort of thing but more or less most of the volume occurs against the big dogs adult the theory of ambig- bitcon. So if you're going to be trying a theorem for example through twitter. A questions coming about building a theorem stack for long-term investments. If you're looking to build your theory stack. I think the trading against twitter trading trading against theorems a good option. The only issue you've got. He is on a theory as you often have themed books which means you have thin volume. Which means you're susceptible to slippage k so you might not get fulfill or you might get filled at different price. This is more common. Notice calling me. Try against bitcoin or you try and against the dollar ted because there's a lot more volume going on now. If you do decide you want to try to increase your theorem stuck. It doesn't really matter where the money comes from. If you're trying to build your us detail that will send that over and by therion if you'll try against bitcoin and you get a good prophet and you bank in. Bitcoin sent that bitcoin across will transfer that for a theory. And it doesn't necessarily mean you have to try it against that one pay consistently you've just gotta work at what you do your profits and where you move them to. So that's another thing to consider what you're going to do what you're trading for you trying to build a portfolio or. Are you trying to pay your bills. Ossified now ideally. If you're fulltime trader it's a nas position to being where you can actually pay bills and you can keep money aside for investing and building that portfolio. This is something that needs to be considered second to that is what is the plan beyond that. Okay are you going to reward yourself and you must do this. You've got to be rewarding yourself. If you don't plan everything. I've i've i. I wouldn't hold a dream board because such along those lines of knowing what. I'm after this this trips that i want to do with my family There's you know when. I'm fifty years all y'all that i can travel around australia and see this wonderful country from the ocean side. There's a lot of different things different parts of my life now. These goals are tied back to my day to day. Actions to keep me focused. So it's about keeping him on clear and the best way to keep your mind clear. Obviously it's retains bet your exercise meditation diving. Whatever it is you do that makes you and keeps you grounded. That's important when it comes to trading knowing what you're doing this fall helps a kit. You sent in within that moment because remember the only time that you have is the now you've only got now. There is no other time than you have any control of other than right now. So focused on now. Having that clarity of your plan is going to help you and clarity. Well you make better decisions and better decisions. Generally quite a bit or outcomes so this helps have a fantastic day off now.

"Your videos are shot from the ito on a conference room flow floor with a small speaker like no way in the front. And you're behind all these people and they're talking with bad audio and nobody wants to watch for twenty to thirty minutes. Mike theory on most conference videos ninety nine point nine percent of conference videos is that the people even the people who were in them. Don't wanna watch them. And i think that. I i wanna move on to my other. My other tips. Because they sort of incorporate my answers here so number two viewers will stop watching every video right after it stops being valuable to them. What do you think. I mean absolutely and i think where it gets difficult for brands is to define what that moment is. Because i think it's very human nature to not want to end seems to abruptly so i have to say the biggest mistake i see you know businesses making and frankly this is true for any creator is rambling at the end of their videos. So dane how do you usually define how they figure out what the point is. We're seeing stopping valuable some ending and and this is i have a video of ending words and the reason i created this ending words list. That people should not say in a video is because you and an a an a an a small group of other people at at bitcon two years ago. We're talking about not saying ending words. And i was like well. That's fine. what what. What isn't ending word. And so you had to explain to me personally. Because i didn't really know what you were talking about. And then i made a list following up on that and what. I was hearing elsewhere. Things that gives you the clue that things are going in and when you have done that no that's one way of knowing that it's no longer valuable so over her. Yeah literally so. Thanks for watching..

"Here a couple of people talking about the high of the monthly candle now 'cause. We are in November, now and Yeah it month all of Taiba Twenty five percent can't come plane with. some pretty happy with that the weekly, of course, looking beautiful rot. Now, the way clearly is about to close in five minutes Montagne. And if it stays as he's right now it will close up five point three percent notice big away laws wake the no wake in the right direction dilates look it's not over extended. Now a the moving average having court. Out We did pull up through fourteen thousand. But? Filed a hold fouled to stay above and I was a real wicky taught break. It didn't really dealt with. Excuse me much confidence. Ward down. Didn't break with much confidence at all so Yeah. Look I'm into the modern Certainly, we could say bitcoin continue to claw. To. Be a crazy person would suggest that that's not lyles are not possible. Sites. We hang up hanging up pretty high, and we haven't seen proba pullback. On the daily alway clear for quite some time that look we could continue to keep on moving out. Let's let's take ourselves back to that sort of. Projection run of two, thousand, nineteen, where we you know we we saw massive moving. We saw many strong wakes, but that was also pulled back I mean we saw in on the twenty ninth. Of April the Sixth of my thirteenth May and the nineteenth. Sorry Mike, we sort go up. That was full wakes. Aquatic strong move there as well that that full-week move let me just take from those full weeks with seventy one percent now for. The loss of five weeks sammy seen a thirty percent Mussa note is big percentage. Wise. that. We pulled back into the trials on a little bit on that Waco game back in June, and then we shot back up headed tools that fourteen thousand dollar mock. So I am. I'm not thinking about this I'm just watching. What the bucket is providing me and saying, is there anything there that is signal to make to be more bullish bearish right now longtime on bullish meeting Tim on bullish. Oliver the four out there highlights and they're all higher highs. So I can't really can't build Germany cases being short right now the the one out can look we do have some resistance at thirteen, thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, two. Two test but did push down low just recently where are we today with Bitcon? We'll close down point three percent at thirteen, thousand, seven, hundred, and fifty one dollars. So Guy, it's pretty happy days right now theorem at an Oscar push-up es died. Broadcast through the resistance level that which was was that three hundred, ninety, four region and will have to wait and see if we can break above that a guy. Now, there is a two-day candidates also quite bullish. This I'm keeping a close on Theorem as well. It's broken out this morning through the to test level of Wa- on full, which was a guy in the level I said before this is a law time from him looking and I will be provided that the simplicity kicks continues I will be looking for for long try on a theory. On looking quite NAS as a trend there. Needs to settle itself a bit more three, hundred, Ninety, seven, thirty, four now, which represents two point seven percent up. Except pay also cheaper, we mentioned the weekly the on a theory as well. It was actually down two point, two percent at the moment. Noah nearest bullish. Well, Bitcoin has course nothing really has banked buffet. Ex pays close awake daffy five point two. Point three percent at twenty four cents on the nose is a really horrible looking child's up point one percent now twenty four cents flat nothing to speak overwrought their bitcoin cash. All Of that to seven fog level. Again, guidance going to close down one point, two percent as we are about to close rods. Now it's up two point, two percent today. The WACO is going to. Finish in the red, not much to go on their dialect low to mid timeframes on Bitcoin Cash Ignatz break, two, seven five and ultimately Nacer to Eddie one get to a new hire high. That's listening back the WHA one at the Bay of me to be trading. The why the trade now come on the lot coin hair gyn loss wake you know the cracking wait twenty, three percent or the week before the week just gone down five point five percent on the daily has just closed right now. It closed down. Yeah. It was basically flat on the Diet that was nothing really speak of it is a level at fifty six dollars and forty five cents of keeping a close eye on. And Lot, coin as well on the tonight. There is a bullish candidate right there on that today on keeping a close on that as well. Why? Well because it's in the cradle Zion and it looks pretty dont strong at the moment. So keeping. That in my watch list today looking for long opportunities that

"Young people. But with the game if occasion and the. The Bells and whistles going off in the balloons and the emojis and all the shit that goes into making it seem like fun with something. That's very serious. How is that not? A crime in itself because of fishing so many people. From the younger generation like millennials and Jesse's I don't know how old Jesse's are. Now Right now maybe twenty years old I don't know but they're bringing them in to the system and they're hoodwinking them thinking that investing is a game and it's making it really fun for them to get thumbs up emojis and balloons going off so on and so forth. That one young man. was. Really affected by it and took his own life because of option trading within the APP and what's option training option trading. In a nutshell, it's going money. It's like leveraging money that you don't have and getting. Getting that From a source like a casino spotty new hundred grand go play poker. Here's a hundred grand go play poker something like that. You're getting money for nothing and then you're trading end. You're seeing ups and downs and you would never have that money in the first place. No one would ever lynch you such a large amount of money to just start. Using the APP because. They are lending it to because the house always wins. Sure. Go ahead and borrow this by chance to sit chances are that you're going to be owing us and we are going to have you in debt prison. Now, in that option deal for the young man, he was like at a negative seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars and I. Believe it was over the weekend or before trading had started and he saw that he was in such a negative negative position and that just crushed his mind and his soul that's just how I see it. I can imagine that any young person who went through millennial training of You know how important they are and how special they are in. You know they they come in last place in the race they still get a trophy that. When the when the shit hits the fan and you see such a negative ounce, you take it personally that you did something wrong that you are stupid. And so this young man within a short period of. Time just valued that number in his in his life, his own life and he took his life. It's a very sad story. But WHO's at fault for that? And that's why bring it up. Because on one hand I say bitcon because you have a teenager who is could use his technology for starting his own business for doing digital marketing something to to benefit the world rather than steal from it in a possibly guiltless or shameless way. You have that and then on the other side of robinhood which is spearfishing. A lot of ways. Young people to get started in in investing as simple as. Downloading a game or playing Some sort of game that they're interested in like fortnight. The whole platform gamified I know that they are changing it or maybe they have changed it a little bit but how many people have been hurt by their process? I don't know who started robinhood haven't really thought about that but my guess is that. They're older than the people that most people that are using them. So I think they're being like Hoodwink, they're bean Gema. And thinking that it's fun when investing is very serious. And there's a reason why you have Wall Street guys in suits and old men with no smiles on their faces and. Millions of dollars in lose something they jump off out of building which has happened many many times. There's a reason for that stuff and when you're doing it in an APP. House at any different. You look at your position and. In this case, the young man's position was like a negative seven fifty and it just hadn't taken its course to update where the position might have been lost. That was a less significant but I don't believe that there servers had updated that information and I think he was looking at it on the weekend possibly. So if he had waited maybe forty eight hours may he would have been in a positive position maybe it would have been less of a negative position where he could have. Done something about it. I don't know but he saw that big number he attached that value to his life and He took it. He didn't. He didn't find that. He was worth anything and how how's that going to be for the future of impressionable young people who are raised on technology. So You got both sides of it. You got both sides of the Bitcoin or the coin, and I'm not sure if you can trade bitcoin on Robinhood, maybe you can but something to think about. Something to think about. So that's my connection. There is the. Act of spearfishing on big con and then Robinhood spearfishing convincing. Young impressionable people to use their APP. When they know that they don't have the experience and they can gamified. They can make it look look a whole lot of fun and that you're making a lot of money and I I'm assuming that's what people want to do at a young age because they see their icons like Mark Zuckerberg. For one of somebody WHO's made billions now when I was. That age like in the mid nineties and in college and stuff we didn't have anybody to look up to as far as being a billionaire because if they were they much older, there was no one of our generation that was just young and successful that that I can remember like that. So I. Think a lot of times they think that they should be like that. Then why don't they get there? They're just do why does it come very very quickly, which is why you would probably be trading options for money that you don't have on an APP that game of is it makes it look like a some sort of A. Video game like four, nine or something. What do you think? Do you think it's a crime for Robin Hood it's obviously a crime for the act the illicit act of spearfishing accounts. And gaining access to critical counts as in the twitter case, and then sending out false tweets. From. People on twitter and doesn't matter if they're famous or not you can't do that. So. Think about that. That's I think I think there's a some things to be learned there and I'm assuming that Robin Hood will change their methods I've read some about that. Again, I don't use the APP. But I just think that you can invest in. Much, better places a beef in in your own business, and if you have a business right now you're doing a product or service I'm happy to promote that for you. Check out my co Fi page comeback for more. And I think you for listening to your story or your life because it is this chip only sign off. Talk to you next time. Bye..

"So you can be more of an insider into the shows and I can do promotions and mentions for the Biz. So think about it. Thanks for being here and You know let's get into the show because. I've got some topics here that I've been thinking about for a while been doing a lot of true crime on on both my podcast, but this subject or subjects has been. With me for a while just been thinking more about it how I wanted to present it to you and maybe get your take on it. So when you are part of my show, you can always. Do a comment or message. Maybe Tell me something I don't know because I. Don't know everything. You know I'm an author obviously a podcast hosted and I've got some ideas about stuff I'm more into stories and connections and with the top some coverage today Bitcon, and Robin Hood. I think there's something to be learned from it now if you haven't heard about, bitcon. It was something that happened recently and just preface this episode I am talking about teenagers. So I don't mention any names like you read stuff in the news and it's a teenager. It's pretty rare for them to mention their name if they're under eighteen years old sometimes, I'd do it if they are if it's like a federal case but. For me I try not to do that. So I'm talking about the subjects and forward thinking about what the future could be. But here we are with something called. Bitcon it went down recently where. A teenager you know. They all grew up on technology, and if you're like Gen xer older like myself I'm like I grew up in the genetics Erica yet cable TV and MTV knows about it but if you grew up. Previous to that or in more recent times like the millennial John's e obviously raised on technology. They know that stuff from back in to do something where you can have twitter accounts and you can spearfish into key employees at twitter to get access to the account dashboard, and then sent out tweets from some of the biggest names on twitter. That's impressive. At first of all, it's just incredible hacking but how do you do that? Well you know the kid that did it was seventeen years old. He recently got busted at went down in Florida. So he is subject to all the state regulations are in Florida and got some federal stuff on a two because of all the the fraud and. The stuff that involves. But how he went about it as through a method called spearfishing and you're familiar with fishing in email. So if you've got an email address. got a yahoo you're used to getting some. Messages where. They come from someone that you haven't. Known and and it's just there's a story. So who's ever got a story selling something and if you click on that link, it's going to do something to you via dot link like install PA malware back on your computer and allow us to do what they they do. So that's kind of a general of the overall idea about fishing but spearfishing is where you're making it personal and in this case of the twitter bitcon because the whole intention was to get bitcoin transactions. The young man did a spear phishing attack on twitter which was too key employee's I would say like maybe C. level executives. where? If you're making it personal in that communication, which would be like an email and that's coming from. Like a source like upper level management at it looks legit. There's logic to it and there's they know that they're not gonNA question it because it has to happen Arabs of superiority. Why would you question your upper level management about something? So they clicked on those links and that enabled the hacking to begin to get to the account dashboard and when those tweets were sent out, it was blue July fifteenth on a bunch of different accounts from. Think like Barack Obama and Jeff bezos Why would they ever send out tweets like this where? You could Exchange thousand dollars for two thousand dollars and. Why Why would you think that Jeff? Bezos the richest man the world would care about two and a tweet like that. But people click on that stuff they it's obviously a trusted source. There's no questioning that it's coming from twitter as a tweet and that it's a legitimate account that they follow from some of the biggest names in the world. But those tweets went and it was for. Like an offer of exchanging one thousand dollars for two thousand dollars Bitcoin. And the money went into another bitcoin address managed by the hacker over one hundred, thousand dollars in Bitcoin was. was made and it was quickly shut down so. In those types of situations the people who manage those accounts the big names that I mentioned they're probably gonNA notice those tweets within fifteen to twenty minutes. So you've got a limited amount of time to pull off the scheme. So on one hand we've got Bitcoin we've got a teenager who has the skills the ability to do something great with technology but. Turns it around and being a thief. And I don't know if there's any guilt or shame about somebody who is. A hacker that somebody who's doing things digitally and thinking that there's no one getting hurt in the process more stealing from such wealthy individuals or. Not Stealing from them directly but. You know what the platform is and that trust there. So I don't think on the the hacker side especially with a teenager who has got like a ideal about most seniors have an idea of more mortality that's very little. They don't understand mortality until they're older. So they do riskier things, but it's a crime nonetheless and it's a big crime. So. People are affected, people get hurt and I just wonder if the. The teenager or the people that do this. Really have any empathy or think that they're hurting anyone and it seems like they don't. So, we got the big CON. And then we've got the Robin. Hood. So this is the flip side of the technology in bringing up. Get bit calm I'm thinking about how the thief is going about the technology to to use a platform to manipulated to spearfish too well and. Get what they're after, which is which is. Now on the flip side of it, I think about the APP Robin Hood And you might have heard recently within the last three months four months I. think it was right around the start of whole coronavirus deal but. A teenager was using the Robin Hood up like most of them are he I will say that I don't know the age of the young man he might have been under twenty years old he might have been older but I know that he was like in the millennial range. So for robinhood APP that is their target, they have millions of users a good deal of a percentage of their users are of a younger age and what they do is they game by their APP I W- also prefaced by saying I've never used throughout by looked at screen shots I've read a lot about it but the whole process of investing. Getting, starting with investing is as simple as signing up for like an Uber Ride, they know that they're taking advantage of that Use of their interface that people are used to especially.

"Hiring is challenging but there's one place you can go. We're hiring is simple and smart. That place is ziprecruiter where growing businesses connect to qualified candidates try it for free at Ziprecruiter Dot com slash tech talk ziprecruiter the smartest way to hire so we're still here at BITCON big online video convention in Anaheim. I'm here with Natalie Jarvi. She is the digital media or the Hollywood reporter. We're doing a little meet. The press edition hero talking tech exchanging notes showed Natalie to me. The floor seems quieter. The excitement seems less. It seems subdued this year. What are you? What are your thoughts yeah? I mean I think part of this is vid con kind of coming into its its mature. Her Age it's ten years old. It's expanded a lot. There's a lot more floor space than ever before so I think some of the crowd is just kind of been able to spread out of it. That would happen okay. This is a convention aimed at the people who make videos and what youtube offered this week both of us sat down with the chief product officer and from Youtube Neil Mahan and he's offering more ways for them to make money beyond advertising which basically means that the small creator has a better shot at would make a buck even if they don't get many videos absolutely I mean youtube wants to be a place where creator can make money a lot of different ways not just from advertising so they rolled out a number of features that kind of support that promise it's interesting though because a few days before Bitcon facebook also announced some new monetization features a snapchat also said that they're doing more to work with craters. It's interesting to see how all of these big tech platforms kind of jostling to be that home for a creator and the place where. A crater knows they can go in and make money those announcements always come out a few days before Bitcon and just to remind people facebook said you could tip the Creator Youtube just basically talked about how successful super chat is which is a way for us to go direct correct the top of the line and sent a note get question to your favorite creator. Some creators are making as much as four hundred dollars per minute which is found money for all. They're doing is answering questions so that's pretty cool. <hes> facebook has never gotten a toehold on that Credo market though I mean they're they're bigger than youtube but it never happened. Why do you think that is facebook is still growing their monetization platform and and I think it it still? Kind of early days for them. You also have to remember that a lot of the the young influencers their audiences are on Youtube. They're on instagram. They're not necessarily always on facebook and although in a facebook will tell you that on a global level <hes> I a lot of young people to use the platform so you know I think that's part of what you're seeing. Just a tale of two cities. The Youtube speech was in the main stage and the facebook speech was in a small stage and there are very few people. They're comparatively any other thoughts about covering this thing and what you've seen on the floor anything jump out at you well. I did notice that a lot of the instagram panels yesterday were packed. You know these were the panels for talking about growing your instagram page and what you can do as is a creator. It is still a platform that talent really love and enjoy being on so that that stood out to me. The way it's been explained to me is that you make a fully realized Polish video on Youtube and instagram. You let your hair down. Right absolutely yeah on stories and things like that you can let your hair down you know have a different kind of a relationship with your fans and then you know of course who doesn't love all the pretty polished pictures that come alongside to speaking of pretty pictures and Instagram when my highlights was in this very room. We're in the press room right now. I got to interview the cat and her owners cookie and Shannon and Nahla is the world's most followed cat on instagram. Four million followers Sean Natalie. Did you get a chance to say I did not get a chance to say had an ally saw you do your interview and I was very jealous. You know this year teamed up with the Dodo to have a whole kind of pet influence her track which was. Really Neat because those influencers are huge and they have a lot of fans natalie. I'll let you get back to work. Thanks for sitting down and talking tech with us. I'm Jefferson Graham. You can find me on twitter at Jefferson Graham Natalie how the people I met Nat jars on on twitter and all my stories are at the Hollywood reporter Dot Com and be sure to tune in on Monday the you'll hear all about now the cat thanks again phyllis thing hiring used to be hard it was and still is one of the biggest challenges businesses face this before it meant dealing with endless stacks of resumes flipping through them and hoping the perfect candidate would jump out at you and the manual review process wasn't any easier but in today's high tech world hiring can be easy and you only have to go to one place to get it done ziprecruiter dot com slash tech talk with their powerful matching technology ziprecruiter scans thousands of resumes to find the most qualified contenders for your job and actively invites them to apply Ziprecruiter is so effective that eighty percents of employers.

"Hey marketplace tech listeners. Marketplace has a new podcast out now called this is uncomfortable. It's a weekly show out Thursday's about life and how many messes with it. The show looks at things like what happens when one person in a relationship has way more money than the other what happens when work is the thing that makes us cry at work and how to manage all the ways many gets in the way of our relationships shapes our identities and a lot of times defines what it means to be an adult subscribe to this is uncomfortable wherever you get your podcasts. This marketplace podcast is brought to you by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation Evan Lyle of rush enterprises is a big fan of Michigan as he put it. The future of mobility is going to be decided right here in the state is a planet dot com to find out why. That's P. L. A. N. E. T. M. dot com. It's BITCON twenty nineteen. The Mecca for Youtubers influencers and there are many many fans from American public media. This is marketplace tech demystifying the digital economy. I'm Jed Kim in for Molly. Would masses have converged on Anaheim California for the tenth annual Vid con where Industry execs and fans they interact with their favorite influencers and of course take selfies with a giant rainbow slide barbecues glittering dream house. People vote lined up early like Valerie Ortega at seven A._M.. She says her daughter WHO's on Youtube as galaxy lunar begged to come from El Paso my daughter Dazzling Ortega is a big fan of a lot of youtubers. So she's helping to meet some important. People try to get her name out there. To <hes> Jesus Kevin Wagner live streamed from the line to Gamer platform twitch. He had thousands of dollars worth of gear strapped to his shoulder. His waist erased my main goal of doing this is a share experiences with people that maybe can't financially afford to go or if they have you know fears of planes or just have social anxiety altogether so that's why I'm trying to do most of community helped me fund this rig covering all of this for the Atlantic is Taylor Laurenz. She says instagram and Tick Tock are gaining ground on youtube among creators at the same time. Being a Youtuber is still sort of seen as a very higher status mark. If you're successful youtuber you're making a lot of money because youtube is still the only platform that offers creators direct monetization so they can run pre roll ads on their videos and get paid. You can't run pre roll ads on your instagram account or your fifteen second tick tock so it's. Harder to get money more directly. Those people have to rely on brand deals which are a little bit more volatile. What are the kinds of announcements or big things that you're going to be looking for this year? I think another interesting thing that's happening this year. BITCON is the influence of China and Chinese these companies. You have executives from Baiju ten cent. There was a big East West Forum actually held at the Mary where a bunch of ten cents executives and other Chinese executives met to figure out how they can stay claim to some of the American market and was such a big deal for the it's interesting they have this whole Morad of APPs and platforms that have reached scale in China and have hundreds of millions of users but they haven't really been able to penetrate the Western market so I think we're seeing more Chinese companies see if there are big American creators they should be working with and also what can they learn from what we have going on over here a lot of controversies these days surrounding you too. How are those things showing up here? It's funny because they're completely. Wheatley not most stories about youtube this year defined as like extremism problems with Algorithm <hes> you know leading to the proliferation of all these outright white supremacist videos getting shown teens feeds and it's funny because here there's is just none of that is very entertainment focused. It's very focused for industry professionals and brands so you have brands like chipotle lay you know Walmart coming bitcon to scout new talent and they aren't interested in the kind of Neo Nazis that are actually the trending on the platform pretty calling Taylor Lorenzo reports for the Atlantic. She says YouTube uses vid con as a space to keep pace with competitors like announcing new ways for creators to make money and now for some related links the vid con experience has already gone overseas with Vid Cons London and Australia next year it will expand to Mexico City. The Hollywood reporter quotes a bid conning. Executive says some of the top global creators have emerged from Mexico in recent years content creators will have a new way to make money announced at BITCON. The S._e._C. has qualified a new crypto currency called props. They'll allow content creators to earn Crypto for the work they do and probably usable across several APPS. You can read more about it at tech crunch and Yahoo and finally youtuber ten emotional had a rather infamous role last year with BITCON BITCON over its denying her featured Creator status that led to her skipping bitcon and announcing her own concurrent convention tennakon was not a success some have made comparisons to the disastrous fire fest well the hedge it has been unburied. "Where are you inside the arena right now? Kyle by bring those topics that God if you're in Orlando and you know what I'm talking. So facing I'm facing north. Right. And I'm facing where the field was field is where they had forty five cents. Right. That's where everybody was waiting outside of also where president. Everybody said, hey, we'll have big spreads out there for everybody doesn't get into what's right. Following me. Now here's what I'm seeing. I'm seeing a field that looks like it was partied on a few hours ago. There are maybe ten people on this field, and then one big screen, so I just I don't know what the numbers are. But we would change when we say big screen. Yeah. When we say, big screen are you talking big screen like an eighty insures? I mean, retarded big scramming only ten foot or maybe. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Like, eighty like this, this screen put in our living rooms. That's so it's big enough for that. Now, what do you think there's been a hundred thousand people to pass through? I mean, obviously, that's how many tickets were requested. So we didn't expect that any to come in. But do you think twenty thousand people made their way into the center? I don't know. But here's the thing, most of the arena looks pretty full as now I haven't been in there in a little bit yet, but they weren't billing the seats behind the stage, so that, so already, we're not using all twenty thousand seats for spectators. But here's the thing, guys, is that we heard that only twenty thousand is we're going to get in, and then anybody else would give out it, but they're still bringing people in looking at the security, people were still coming in. There's no more line outside of Amway anti. Honest. Like I really wonder if there are people here who want to get into who are, it's a really wondering, everybody, gene. I think that's a great point. And you know we talk about these big numbers all the time. And Trump in a really, really just tells us everything that's going great in our country, and how great these crowds are. And sometimes I feel like that may hurt him. This is a Tuesday night, people coming home from work. They have kids, you hear a hundred thousand people. You may say, hey I don't wanna head out there when I only that they announced that a week ago. And if you look at the radar yesterday, there was a seventy to eighty percent chance of thunderstorms from four o'clock eight o'clock, but already was raining before. Right. It's heard when we got here around one o'clock to Harry buffalo, we add to the parking garage for it to lighten up, and it was storming. There were people packed like sardine cans underneath I four and like you know what? I'm not going to take a chance. I'm not waiting. So it still looks like everybody was coming. So they would look. Like they would get to at least the arena filled. But now as we slow down the pace I thought there was going to be much more people walking in to the Amway center right now. But which really interest rates Morrow story all of the media is going to be covering the crowd size. It's such a topic and Trump ever since he started four years or four years ago, putting himself out their Cy Cy size size matter size matters. Well, it's going to be another issue here tomorrow. People are going to be talking about the size wasn't outside of Amway. Ken? So. Can you hear about a lot of discrepancies that people were waiting getting in a lot of them are mad at Amway because I talked to one of our listeners actually met up with the and she said that a lot of people who awaiting six seven eight nine in the morning, they got really mad because people were waiting on the streets, somehow were able to get into where they were at get in front of them. So there was a lot of there was a lot of fighting over who was able to get in first or last in a lot of some of the people who were there early are saying that people who got their later were allowed in before debts were also going to hear about that, too. Yeah. That was interesting. I had not heard that before that was really interesting. Yeah. What's well, I find this to be very interesting because I'm in that influence our world. I understand bitcon playlists live huge mart in Orlando. So I've been part of these gigantic conventions and out Los Angeles. I used to live there. Bitcon is out there each year. It's a big influence or convince convention, and there's an influence, sir called Tanna her name's Tanna who Tennakon and through a really botched version of a convention, and it was huge news in the digital world where it was just this terrible mess. People bought tickets they were complaining that other people are getting in and bathe in who's this whole big mess. So it sounds like there's different little aspects of play that's here. And what happens is when this is announced a week ago you gotta think about the fact that his team has one week to put together this entire thing that means security police the Amway center, entertainment, the lines security again. Because you there's so many different aspects that go into it. So there's bound to be some issues. But hopefully inside is a huge success and everybody's safe and doing well then it looks good because especially with all the people around here, there are a ton of people out there, but we do have a connection of brand HOGAN Hogan's over in the field brand. And how many people are there surrounding you right now? There's quite a few a lot of them have decided to just chill out in the Forty-five fest area to watch President Trump speak. No one's been turned away from the doors as far as I can see except for those with backpacks and umbrellas because I think people weren't tuned into our news ninety six point.

"At the time is before I was making videos for travel videos on Youtube by new is going to do something with the footage and I've actually been releasing those episodes still now like as throwback videos on that trip I remember stopping in Canada and eating dead Fraga. I found has full my youtube videos that oh I need to make some weird's crazy eating video and I remember eating dead frog and that was like and the twenty eleven so that was when I still doing weird stuff and then you switched logging. So where did you get this idea of logging and did you leave logging or was it like random logging and then you decided to switch to I go into trouble and stood up controversy for what I was doing living on my eating channel because eating live trench Liz and never eight in the live mammals or anything by live Lizard Youtube angry at me like a few videos demagnetize I think they deleted my videos. It's like super controversial basically because it was like pretty gross and then a few animal rights people go on my back because they use saying it's cruel and now you begin yeah and it's funny now like I'm actually Vegan. I think during that time I don't really want to fight this because I'm not trying to make a point like this isn't something I care about. This is always just stupid like jackass. It was always just like sensational at that point already come to California to Bitcoin. I'd been invited by my youtube network to come to Bitcon in twenty eleven. I think no two thousand twelve and that's where I saw it being a lot of youtubers and is like world. This is a whole another platform where like people doing comedy skits and beauty videos and hadn't seen travel stuff to be honest but like all all these different in the bedroom blogs and like I could do anything I want them this platform and then one of my friends is like what could I do they like why don't you make videos about your life every day and I was like without. It'd be so boring but then as I oh maybe it wouldn't maybe it could be really. We actually really interesting so yeah. That's where the idea came from and then were you on. The first daily was always second generation so the first generation was like Sky Co Charles trippy who actually just did ten years is unbroken is GonNa Guinness World record ten years of daily logs not missed one. Just did it like a few weeks ago. I think it was him. There was shake Harlan. This is a few them that would like the original original Dave loggers and then there was is Jesse and Gina who did the pranks and then they start doing daily blogs just like fears before but I'd never heard of Dave Logan when I started I didn't know about them and there was definitely from what I understand. No British people doing it. I wasn't just sitting home. I always traveling all over the place. So I'm pretty sure is the first daily travel vlogger and probably the one of the first travel bloggers full stop. Yes that's amazing. Someone that you start those daily logs that was end the twenty twelve and I did every other day of November two thousand twelve skip December because we've doing a road trip around with friends. Then January twenty thirteen was when I really started getting rolling on the daily blogs and that was when I was in L._A.. Come for few months L. A. and and then it just took off often. I was like start traveling in the world and it just got my brand new travel brand. They're like early twenty thirteen and it just blew my mind. It was like six thousand pounds to go to Austria to go to this like festival is like then before that was absence six thousand dollars. It was back then. I was like this is amazing. That's like insane. This like so excited like wow. This is an incredible. How many of us were getting you probably like thirty eighty four thousand views of video like that's pretty quickly which is kind of down to again now? That was this big peak of like one hundred fifty two hundred two hundred fifty thousand Twenty fifteen twenty sixteen but it's evolving changing one of the things that you're talking while you're stories <hes> we all go through transformation and this book that was just showing you today. A principles by ray value in other chart here is like the hero's journey yeah we all go through these shifts of just transformation and we you've repeat them as well so that's incredible and so you've how did you manage to daily logging for so many years because it just blows my mind I know them on a work. It takes to do this then it also takes away from you like being present and I know he's probably got used to it and I know like you you share this before they would stay up late pretty much every night editing polls in the videos but like literally. How did you get through this because it's so much work? People don't realize on the other and I'm sure if you miss some days get upset are mad. They would like where's the blog whereas now like a week and really what motivated you to like. Stick with it like you made a commitment but you stuck with for years. So how did did you do that. It was still exciting for me. Honestly there was the excitement of it. I just loved where it was heading. It was almost the unknown of like this is a riding the wave and insist it was opening up every door for me. I I was just having the mice incredible experiences everything was just so exciting and I just think that kind of adrenaline four five year like adrenaline rush of disliked I mean I honestly was barely sleeping which I would not recommend and after a while after the high of like how fun it can be whereas awfully oh bit I think is detrimental to relationships. It was amazing that I mean Ryan. My girlfriend like managed to start a relationship during during that time in my life because I was not very prison I the blogs came before pretty much everything I would stay up all night every night until three A._M.. For editing most days were centered around finding something fun to they've to film and I think it was cool because it motivate me to do amazing fun things every day. It's not like I didn't want today them but having this new season of move into the end of last year where I'm actually want to slow down and be truly present and not a maybe not thinking about Social Media Youtube for a day O._T.. Like it's so liberating now but I also look back at the time is really dedicated the daily blogs. I'm like yeah for that period for that season. I don't regret yeah. I think it was great so how does feel 'cause. I remember you. Share this before when you were still logging everyday that if you do miss a day of logging it's almost like it's really strange that you can't like look back on that day. Can you tell me more about that. Yes because I it was so yeast to this pattern of filming everything like experience. It was like documenting my entire life. I do remember I actually have made me feel anxious and if I didn't have my camera or decided not to have looked something like when I started trying to take days off it would actually be stressed day. It was weird. I couldn't relax because by the basically go in this very habit you create great such strong habits that I felt like almost like imagine wha- drug drug coming drugs where you just feel like it wasn't instantly relaxing are cool actually relaxed like it probably took months of really consciously stopping to block to fail like a truly be present and not at the back of my mind be thinking about my youtube channel videos like to think bigger than being a youtuber and think oh well I want to do in my life as well as cheap. It's not like I want to stop YouTube. I don't want be just the youtuber anymore like and I wanted to consume your whole and it is consumed my entire life. I remember having an argument with the friend where I was saying. Louis Coal is the exact same thing as fun flew my my youtube channel and I was like there's no separation operation and he was like no. It's not like yeah is me and my channel is the sack same thing and now I look back on my world. That's was so unhealthy and it was so but that was essentially it just didn't feel like work. All the time fell. It was work but it felt like fun as well as enjoy a totally understand it. Just it's intense yeah yeah and I could do anymore of course can only do it for a period of time. I don't know how that guy for ten years. I mean they can be detrimental unless you have it outsource that you edited you logs every single log yeah pretty much crazy as no exception but no really it was pretty much every crazy like so much thought one thousand six hundred an eighteen videos that I've made now I can't even comprehend that honestly but it's beautiful too you can lau go back of your life and literally see every single day of your life documented and I always why would continue into like having a family and everything but honestly. I don't think I still would love to like document whether you put out by. Just don't think I WANNA make a youtube channel centered around my family grow no disrespect to like family bloggers out there. It's cool but I I just don't think that's what excites me about making content anymore. I don't want it to be centered around my life day today but more around things I'm really passionate around topics that I wanted to discover and like new things I wanNA learn about like a lot of people on a journey and share a story about something thing which isn't my day-today life so I'm actually excited again about my content for the first time in years which is cool. That's the most important bit but the point that I was going to make university you being workaholic or working sometimes as I as you said just now because your so into what you're creating in a way them feel like work it just was like life in it just felt natural a normal and also just the ad because experienced waking up having to go to an office yeah certain time and work for company and I'd been incredibly poor and lived. I'd really tested the boundaries of what life was a good drive. I think I WANNA go back to working for somebody else. So if I have to hustle really hard now to succeed to be my Boston run my thing and like dictate like design my life like all the energy because this is exciting for me doesn't excite me to think about working for somebody else or to be living with having to ask my friends who one pound each so he could perpetual in the PETROTECH. It'd be like five of my friends. We need to get five pounds at one foundation and fill up the bedroom. Now it's really nice that I've managed to build up enough income that I can treat or my friends that dinner and take them out legitimates anew partly when always hustling and staying up or not every night. I'm building something that's going to have valley Ali bigger vision and for me to be honest the biggest thing for me. That was more exciting with that. I could have a platform to make a difference in people's lives. It wasn't even my life like I've always been an optimist. Even if I end up with nobody fine but the it was more like building the bigger my audience grows the bigger impact I can have the world's and it goes back to the thing saying there's something deep down inside of me that just wants to make an impact on the world for good and that's the incredible about what I mentioned before. I'm what I'm looking right now. In the book is the Hero's journey. I'll show you actually get snow in the middle of adventure and that's kind of a definite annoy bracelet this stumped adventure shirt live and your company venture venture facebook page and your instagram you gotta check it out for all travel adventure inspiration and things like that thing that I really want to point out to people is through this transformations that you have in you. Keep having is really in the way is putting on the path to your higher calling and this is what we're discussing over dinner as well as that. The reason you are here is in a way you're you're always following your intuition. So even you say having a really good job and dropping that even though is a good thing to do you know having a really good gigging around your party bus in London and then kind of just dropping that off then doing the weird eating thing having success what kind of dropping off now also doing this whole logging thing and dropping off but in the way you're still evolving it almost like if you can see what the end urine path right and if you can look at the potentially to the end of that path and say this is what the ultimate end to this path could be yeah that's exciting to you need to change direction and did that my job. I looked that people have got triple the salary in there in the same job and I'm like I don't want to be that person but that doesn't excite me then it goes onto the eating video.

I've heard Chris Pratt is openly said like he doesn't mean Chris good friends that patriot can make half. I think I'd made a photo. Chris Pratt stuff. Oh, you haven't checked. I am not. I think I would ask for a photo if it was something like kinda funny. Like if I saw guy e-e-eddie I'd be like, all right? I'm getting a photo with guy fee eighty. Oh, man. I got a photo with Nick Crompton that was like one of these down. That's great. That's smart. I was like because it was it was maybe a few months. It was maybe a few months after its every day, bro. And who says prime Crompton? Yeah. Crawling companies everyone's fats. We all peak Crump that we can all agree. Nick Crompton is the true here is no heart and soul of he was the heart and soul of team ten. Yeah. I didn't like him for a while. But then I was like, and then we watched the documentary. I was like, wow, you're smart. Like, you have a brain. Yeah. He actually hit me up when when we're when smash. Defy collapsed. He actually hit me up and was like it was like looking for some. He was trying to get in there. And try to say he was trying to look for a way to like Trump ten. So weird. We got a call. We got a call seven. It didn't. But but anyway, so yeah, I Assam at a party at bitcon. And I was like I gotta get a photo with with Crompton got to. And I was like came in England's my city to and he's like, oh, I didn't even mean to say. Skew there's nice guy because there is one youtuber that if I saw them getting a photo of and that's Danny sex bang, huge fan of him have been for a long time. I know I know I know it's very realistic for me to embarrass me Shane. Yeah. If I if I'm going to drink a leader of celery juice before I meet, Danny sex. And just dump dump right in front of. "There's every EV we've squeezed the life out of it much like this ball python has squeezed out of my keyboard. Yes. Is it happy? How do we know if it's happy yawning a lot? Now. There's some debate among ball python fans, if the yawning is because it's sleepy or because his measuring my head to see if it could swallow me. Oh my gosh. That would make such great television about your ratings. Where Leo go right there. He's in the middle. I mean, it's not gonna kill you. But in the meantime, the clip is gonna go viral. What doesn't kill you makes you slide viral viral? That's good. You know, what that's the new YouTube generation, screw Nici. We got YouTube. What doesn't kill you makes viral what bills in Mexico viral lower the python, by the way, I started watching that fire festival documentary on net. Flicks. Wow. Oh, is it people have been raving about it? It's really good. Well. It just shows you where we've gotten to with this whole Instagram social media marketer hype machine that. It's I don't know. I haven't finished it. So I don't know if it's a con- it was a con job or just something that got out of control. But. No, oh, I was gonna say the whole thing reminds me, my mom, you know, she would always tell me some people Stacy they just have more money than sense. Yeah. And that's what I'm like. Oh, I mean, if you're just taking a lot of people got calling, you know, this was the festival just to refresh your memory from April of last year that was so ill planned that. When people got there instead of the luxury combinations and gourmet meals. They got a hurricane survivor tent and a piece of bread with butter on it. And then there was no concert at all. And there are lawsuits and all sorts of things flying back and forth. But really it's a good documentary to watch because it's a testament to our times. I mean, they market it. They did the viral marketing brilliantly. They're really good at the viral marketing, they're really bad at producing a product to match the viral marketing, and you can you can make people want something. The question is can you deliberately Z peasy? And there's this whole. The thing is is network of influencers one of the things the fire festival guys did is they promised five hundred Instagram influencers free tickets and accommodations at the festival if they would at a specific date and time all push an Instagram picture of just a orange screen and everybody did it at once with hashtag fire festival. I can't wait or something. Like that. I mean, they were really good at viral marketing. The problem was then they get to the festival, and they don't know what to do with these five hundred influencers because they're expecting tickets to a show and luxury accommodations and all they got is nothing. It was really interesting. What was also interesting. Is there a number of people who saw the fraud happening who tried to put they put up a website? They try to create a Twitter account, saying don't go, or if you go, you know, what's going on fire festival people. You've got to tell people are going to go in two weeks of this festival. There's nothing there for them. They can't they'll be stranded. All this stuff. And it was ignored. So that the the the people who were doing the, you know, the bell the ring in the alarm didn't really know how to use the the influencers in the same effective way. Doing the fest. Wasn't there wasn't a governor on it? Right. Yeah. It was really interesting, and they got they brought out twelve's female supermodels to dance around on the beach and bikinis, and they that was like a year before the event, and they use the video from that. Right up to the day before the effect has if this is what's going to happen. It was it's it's a good documentary. It's on that flex its very was also a a was a ton of con- the bid Connell turn it o two years ago. I believe in here about that. Which was a very small scale same thing. Yeah. Tana was irritated for some reason with bitcon and decided to have her own bitcon across the street got a room in like a Marriott and two people showed up..

Like, the host says I'm going to grab it. And but also you guys feel like to like the cross contamination person who's been in that bathroom for what feels like a fortnight like what is really going on in there. Now, I have to think this might be going on. Twenty six year old dude goes in there and seem to spend like eighteen minutes. Now like what the fuck is going on that under that. Yeah. Now, we know now, you know. Yeah. Look. Wouldn't happened on the airplane. It was in the bathroom. One two was pretty necessary. It was necessary was necessary. You wanted to land that plane safely? Didn't you? Toss robbing bag true. Thicke the safety's important. It is important. Selfish when you pass judge shuttle trip back. It's right. That's right. I feel bad for even even questioning this acidy. All right. Let's bring it on. That's the news. Alison Rosen to bitcon. Oh, that'd be fun to jerk off on this plane. That news with Allison Roseau..
