They had an episode with our boy Alex spezi the other day where they finished the episode and Niko was like, if I post this to YouTube, we are going to get a flag. We're going to get a flag. We're not going to be on the post for 5 days. It's a daily show. I need a fucking do it. And they made it a Bitcoin TV exclusive, right? So I think there is demand there. I haven't had another YouTube. I'll front the server for you. We're always doing. I say we. I mean, we do a lot of donations. I think we've given out about a $130,000 on projects this year. Let's stream Bedford FC to Bitcoin TV dot com. That's a fucking good idea. Because we're gonna start streaming games early next. Everyone wants to stream at one part of me nervous about doing it because I'm like, are these people who watch the Premier League and they've got this idea that I've bought the MLS from I'm sure Bedford can compete with funky NYC FC or whatever. Dude, this is like weekend football. I'm very proud of the team and I'm very excited about where I could go, but it's low level. But like whatever, these people, there's so many people behind this team now that they this hundreds of them who would have probably watched it today, we streamed it. And let me see. Let me find out because I want to get the game streaming this year. I think it's going to make it happen. We'll be the exclusive streaming part. I mean unless you want the money grab and you want someone else to pay you. No, I mean, we're going to pilot testing next year anyway, but at some point it will be something we'll charge for the stream and because we've got a couple of the costs. There is a cost to stream in the games. But it might be where you're going to charge the end user, you're going to charge the streaming provider. No, this the end user, because there's a cost. There's a cost to us to stream the game. We have to have to have a team to come in with cameras. I'm aware. You need a television cameras and stuff. But look, stream through us, we won't charge you anything. No, but I said we were tested. We're going to test that. I'll do it for free the first. "They made it happen. Everything is RSS feeds. It's open, similar to podcasting. So other apps can actually integrate directly and stream stream our content directly into their apps. We're going to add a pub key in there just like podcasting two. So you can stream sats from other apps. There's a bunch of different things we're going to do to try and integrate Bitcoin across the whole stack. But basically the idea was, I mean, look, it's a beautiful website. We're seeing a YouTube censorship issues, right? And as bitcoiners, we tend to get trapped into this whole decentralized everything. This is not a decentralized project. Do we hope that you can run your own Bitcoin TV instances in the future? Yes. Can you federate with other peer tube instances? Yes. So the other instances can help provide you can do that. But it is a centralized project, but it's one that's hosted by bitcoiners for the world. And as this YouTube censorship gets out of hand, I mean, there's a very good chance that by this time next year, by this time in two years, the overwhelming majority of Bitcoin content does not available on YouTube. A TFT got I think we're allowed to post now for the last 5 days we haven't been allowed to post on our YouTube. We got our first strike. Before. I mean, Marty interviewed laser HODL and they were like talking about depopulation or something. But my point is, my point remains the same is that YouTube has a very heavy hammer on their censorship. And there's no real judicial process. We saw palms channel God taken down. It's like the most mainstream least controversial thing ever. And that's going to happen more often. And is the answer another centralized video platform? No, but the answer is many video platforms. That ideally allow creators to get funded directly from their audience. And we hope to be a small part in that in that mission. You want to kind of Pirate Bay, I'm not gonna par about it, so. People so even if it does get sensitive in some way, there's like different instances everywhere. I mean, I don't know what the tech behind that kind of distribution is, but hey, it's a cool looking website. I should put my shit up there. Yeah, well, we would love to make your channel. Yeah. Let's do it. I'll speak to Danny. We'll do it. And I'll make sure I get rid of my ads. We'll make it ad free. I mean, that'd be awesome. But like I said, people still have ads up on there. We just, we're not monetizing via ads, and we're going to make it easy for creators to get funded directly from their audience with Bitcoin. And we are not going to cut is an optional cut. There'll be a slider bar. If you want to give us 5%, you know, so we can run our service so we can keep it going. But like it eventually of his successful, it won't survive on being a great look, I hope you prove me wrong, but yeah, I mean, I think it's fair to give a car. You provide the platform in the tech. I tend to believe that I would never go, I would just stop doing shows rather than go down an exclusivity path. I like the open nature of the platform podcasting. I like the open nature of I think all information should be open. I think tools should be open. That's something I feel very strongly about as one of the things that attracted me to podcasting in the first place. I mean, my grandmother, she's like, I don't know how you're still allowed on the radio you curse all the time. And I keep explaining to her I was like, I'm not actually on the radio. That's just how I say it to explain it to you. Hold on, is that your grandma who was listening to my show? Independently of knowing we're Friends. Yeah, she listened to defiance, wasn't it? Yeah, I forget which episode it was. Yeah. But she was listening to vines and she sent it to me as a recommendation. That's so fucking funny, man. All right, what about Bitcoin TV? One highlight is I got out of New York, which I had already done, but I was just a nomad, but now actually I have a proper roof over my head. So that feels good. Actually getting my brain sorted on a personal note. But this year, I mean, we launched open sets for open-source development. So dispatch started after our show last year. It hadn't started yet. It's about a year though, right? It's been a year, 48 episodes, skipped a couple weeks there just took a holiday break for that. Rabbit hole recap is over three years. I haven't skipped a week yet. Finally brought on a producer. We're working on a venture fund that's Bitcoin only ten 31 that I'm really excited about. Doing it the right way rather than all these a 16 zs and poly chain and whatnot. Working my work with Bitcoin magazine is been absolutely crazy journey over there. I mean, we have currently I joined them in October of last year and it was like 7 employees. And now we're past 60, I believe. I felt the underpinnings of something that had long been foreign confidence confidence in my nose and in my brain today sixteen years after i lost and then regained my sense of smell. I work as editor in chief of america's test kitchen kits. I don't cook for a living. But i think about food and cooking and how to teach kids about them both every day. I can spell just about everything again. I don't think i could pick out the bitter orange enrolling. I'm not even sure. I could recognize the scent of neurology at this point. It's been a while but it doesn't matter that's for sure because smell is so important to so many parts of life but particularly for flavor in cooking as part of my job now we like to teach kids about the power of sentence one of my favorite ways to do this with jelly beans. Jelly beans especially jelly bellies. Have very strong in very specific flavors. Which you can only perceive through smell all right. Are you holding your nose. Can you say something it sound like. That's my daughter olive. She's four years old. I asked her to hold her nose so she wouldn't be able to smell while she chewed a jelly bean. So hold your nose tight. Stick the jelly bean in your mouth and chew on hold kato florida's. I asked her to remove her hand in breathing deeply as she continued to chew allowing herself to suddenly once against smell as she ain't the flavor is now what is it. Quit you're right. I've been talking with olives. And she was able to stand at the counter. I've tried to teach her to pay attention to her nose. Now very important does. She does have a bit of a one track.
