They're playing very vanilla. defensive schemes. Playing backups. All this stuff i think that goes into. That's probably why we saw daniel jones. Just light it up and his rookie president. We're gonna hit that in a second but before we do. What's the number one thing. The texans need to take from this game. It's not can they defend tom. Brady and the offense. That's not the issue. The defense i think is starting to become what we thought they were which is decent that they have a defense. They can get some rush. They'll probably validate that. Or you know. Maybe people will see that. They aren't as as we thought they were. But i'm concerned about the offense and their ability to run their ability to pass everything other than that. They're pretty good their ability to to pass but they're making these guys sometimes in defense the eighty five chicago. They're going to have to win. Games like twenty to seventy. Yeah i expect a lot of close games the way they beat dallas with turn over with him on back with you know with a you know some good play you know. We were talking about charleston meta who. Come up matt stafford's name come up when he's doing all this not that he's there yet but they're going to say there are things that he does that those dudes do you will hear that. "We just wanna have two guys. We want to have the go-to guy and then the the backup who's going to be probably our third down. Get two three four yards consistently we gotta have that we like. It's like you don't realize how much you appreciated such a consistent running back room until it was gone. it was nice that we had zig bow. But since then we haven't had A running back room. That's been Dependable so for me. The guy who. I am very much looking forward to watching which i've said before in previous episodes is Shockey aunt i'm very very cute. I'm very. I'm not not only curious. But i am looking forward to watching this guy. He looks like i mean he's six foot two two hundred and forty five pounds. He's a big dude and he can get up and go so i am. I am looking forward to watching him on third down situations or goal line situations where we just need a bruiser back to go in there and pounded into pound just pounded in there And i think yet is going to be that guy and so i'm looking forward to watching what he can do this year for us In who i'm very curious about is marquee step It has been said by our staff that he has healing process has gone way quicker than expected and that he has played a part in fall camp and if he can be that guy. That has that experience coming from usc We could really use a guy with experience and game knowledge that we don't really have right now we have just a bunch of freshmen Just yeah just a bunch of freshman. You know everybody's young everybody's young We have essentially a deep running back room. We really do but whether or not they can actually produce. FBI, SEC looking at lawmakers' stock trades after coronavirus briefings: report
"The justice department is reviewing those stock trades made by some lawmakers after corona virus briefings Dianne Feinstein Burr and I think Kelly Loeffler also are being being investigated where are we with that what do we know well according to published reports that the FBI has started asking questions about senator Burr's trades which were made after a confidential briefing although not a classified briefing and certain members of the product about the virus itself and of course there was a senator Feinstein's husband he gauged in expensive trade she personally did not that that that's almost irrelevant in the story my guess is nothing will happen for many of this yeah even though Congress passed the law back in two thousand twelve making it specifically in legal for members of the Senate and house decreed on confidential material non public information it doesn't appear that these meetings are going to meet that standard it could be classified briefing need being that would indicate that aside the politics of this are pretty ugly it's pretty obvious that bird did in fact trade on not non public information and I think it was material I think Burke who is not running for re election widely in North Carolina who has been analysis of the president and has allowed mark wanted to run the Senate intelligence committee hi Burgess figure he's on his way out so why not make a few Bucks pretty disgusting behavior but I don't think the justice department will ever pull the trigger although if they were going to they certainly picked on the public interest yeah now and and can you spell that this sort of colors in the lines over what we've seen the last few years you mention with the Senate intelligence committee thank you know Republicans are in charge is there but we just haven't seen a lot of traction from that Intel committee to get at the root of the problems in our government and now you're looking at a guy who just betrayed his oath of office in order to enrich himself well I think the present really a classic example of the never Trumper with power in the Republican contact he's he's practically a democratic civil servant of the weighted resistance as function is trump took the presidency of Birkhead heated front from the beginning he has obstructed getting to the truth about the Russian hoax although there was getting in plain sight you never heard him say anything supporters about the president during that entire three year pokes Burke is not well white in the White House as you might imagine he he is well liked by his fellow senators interestingly enough but that's the nature of the club pretty pathetic guy and he will not be missed by those of us who care deeply about the country and then exit aria which was singing this tune on stock trading is pretty disgusting and it's shameful actually but I don't think anything criminally legal will come from it yeah sad Joe the justice department is now saying that anyone caught intentionally spreading the corona virus could face terrorism charges is this something that they can make stick are they probably could I think there's enough public anger at anybody taking advantage of this situation you see new cases where somebody spits on lotus road beds doubles in a in a a grocery store or supermarket ending you know that often produce has to be destroyed and then the person is arrested this could be considered a terrorist act under not only federal law but under most states now have anti terrorism statute because it's designed to do harm in a political situation etcetera etcetera if it yeah I doubt if there will be any of the cases brought because again talk about limited resources and what we have to do but if anyone knowingly we're spread the virus Bob well somebody worked in a hospital it took advantage of access the bios or anything like that I have no doubt that would be a prosecution individuals doing something like this you know we'll see how I've got the prosecutors are I would do it if I regret it but you know I'm not there

A showdown between Megyn Kelly and NBC

I'm Kim masters, and this is the Hollywood breakdown joining me as Bella near the Hollywood reporter and Matt as we speak. I think Megan Kelly's lawyer is flying from Los Angeles to New York for showdown with NBC ship been in trouble for a while now. But this is the sound that did the job that I think had been percolating for awhile at NBC. You do get in trouble. If you are a white person who puts on the or black person who puts on Whiteface Halloween like. I was a kid. That was okay. As long as you addressing character. So apparently, not okay. She has been a very expensive investment that did not pay off at all. And this. I would note if she came from Fox News, not the first time she's made racist comments. Notably. Santa Claus is white. That was she told the world. Everybody knew that in two thousand thirteen I feel like she sort of, you know, made her her identity clear at that point. But NBC picked her up. This is one of those situations where NBC knew there was a risk here. Much like ABC knew there was a risk with Roseanne and NBC took the leap anyways. And now, it's lo and behold blowing up in NBC's face. I think Megan Kelly will leave NBC I don't think this relationship is salvageable question is whether she will land anywhere else. But I just think that the combination of the ratings problems, and the fact that she was horribly miscast as a. A morning show host. And this latest blow up is really just kind of the last straw. So I think she will be gone. Absolutely. She's trying to embarrass the heck out of NBC. Meanwhile, with her lawyer saying that they want Ronan Farrow to be involved obviously trying to project. Bad things that NBC appears to have done in the past talking about somebody on the real housewives who wore black face as if that is apropos to how a person who presents herself as a journalist should behave. I think we can agree that the sixty nine million dollars over three years was money badly spent and she's going to clamor, and I think they will pay her. And honestly, I don't know who would employer at this point because we are told that Rupert Murdoch got fed up with her at FOX, and you know, she's branded in a toxic way right now. Yeah. And it's one thing to be toxic to a television network. She managed to lose to agents in the scope of one day, actually, her relationship with CA which had represented her for the past couple of years having going downhill recently, and we're told that she had expressed some frustration. Also represents no Oppenheim is the president of NBC news. So that relationship ended CA confirmed that Megan Kelly was out. She had also been talking to j syrup. At UTA, another prominent agent who represents a lot of people in the in the broadcast space, and when all of this controversy broke a UTA decided that they did not want to represent Megan Kelly either she ended up hiring a litigator the same day. So she went through to agents and got a litigator in about twenty four hours. Very interesting. I think we can safely predict that litigation will not ensue. I mean to me this raises the question again about Andy lack who runs NBC news has overseen a lot of problems at that network. But so far Steve birkhead of NBC universal standing by him.
