"So the schools aren't giving the public schools aren't really giving a lot of answers or if they are, they're all over the board. So these parents from what I gather from this article are saying in Virginia Look we're looking for answers, but now just tell us about home because I think we're going to do this. It's amazing right because one of the things we've discussed have had some great people on discussing homeschooling. Of course, I was home schooled from fourth until Tenth Grade I've talked about that a lot. It's probably why find myself in the trouble? I'm in right now getting kicked off of Youtube but you know one of the big discussions is is our public school system. Brainwashing children into compliance. Position into a destruction of first. Amendment rights more students now saying they don't believe in free speech if it hurts someone's feelings were watching the erosion of First Amendment was really makes you wonder what this education system is and right at a time where the government is trying to control people by packing them into our houses. There's almost like this brilliant silver lining, which is more parents are going to say you know what? Screw the public school system. That's not going to be there anyway and trying to get online and workout online thing with teacher and they're distant understand what they're doing. It's just going to be easier to do this myself. it's amazing is not a benefit, right? There's not a benefit to the online schooling because some of the some of the issues of getting into a school are still there. Yeah. So well, there's the kids leave the school. There's a question of are the school's going to get federal funding if they home I think that question is no but also another article going round is whether you're going to in person classes or taking classes at home, they're still requiring the full immunization schedules. So the shots are still needed virtual learning still require state health and immunization forms and requirements. So this is something that a lot of parents are it's leaving a further bad taste in their mouth 'cause they were having problems before the coronavirus getting these immunization rates up as evidenced by all the bills trying to be passed to take away religious exemptions. Philosophical conscious. KC. Amazing well I mean good on them. You know we'll have to get David Rodriguez on here to talk more about home schooling in the future because obviously a lot more people are choosing those options. It's funny when I was involved in Espy to seventy seven and Baxter was coming out I remember saying to my wife. I'll tell you what if I wasn't working on this film and moving in the direction to. To bring these stories to light I would be world building websites right now for home schoolers, I would be finding ways to have satellite teaching where you can meet up at a farmer, go on a nature hike or curriculums that are available that somebody that gets involved in home schooling they would be rich I have to imagine there is a huge industry that is now growing around homeschooling curriculums and help. So maybe we'll do some reporting on that in the future and help people find where to go. Great. What else? Okay, let's go to MODERNA. So Darren has been bouncing around in these headlines all over the place not only. One choice for America's Kobe nineteen bags Madonna Astra Zeneca obviously the number one contender. In England. So what's going on with Madonna? Yes. So let's look at some numbers here. They announced recently that they received another four, hundred, seventy, two, million dollars from the government. So they received four hundred, eighty, three, million dollars in April for the early stage trials, and then in late July, they're given another four hundred, seventy, two, million that's basically about nine hundred, fifty, five, million dollar contract from Barda. Excuse me that's the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority is under HHS. Again. This is a company with out successful commercial drug really not good phase three data yet, and they've been around for more than a decade right I mean they've been failing for nearly two decades, and so let's go ahead and give them hundreds of millions if not a billion or two dollars to make this vaccine so. Yes so so setting up this story further. So in May, the company announced the decision to raise a billion dollars over a billion dollars in a public stock offering. So what was happening in the last six months from Dirna was you had some insider trading now we'll go over that legal but still questionable. Insider trading now as everyone knows in the last six months, Moderna was tapped for the US vaccine candidate as you said. They've their press releases showing the trials, and now we have a list put together a quick list of some of their topic Zack's. So we have Stefan Benzel he's the chief executive officer of MODERNA now in. April the media reported that he became a billionaire first time. He offloaded over thirty one million dollars in shares over the last six months Stephen Hodge president over ten million Elizabeth Nabel. Now she's a now former member of when during his board of directors we're GONNA get into her further in a moment eight point four million dollars tells Zax, medical officers fifty, six, million he currently on zero shares. Cashed out, we talked about the everything in sight. He's the chief medical officer. So he would know how good this vaccine is going to be, and he doesn't WANNA have one red cent invested when this thing hits the market in what could be a seven hundred, fifty, billion, dollar boone should this be a good product? He didn't want any part of that. He decided get out now curious very curious who else is on this list Yet, we have one enders. He's chief technical operation. Quality Officer over twelve million dollars off load in the last six months shares currently zero shares. Lawrence Kim, he has left the company since, but he's a chief financial officer, sixty six million dollars shares Lori Henderson General Counsel and corporate secretary she received eight point five million selling shares as a company MODERNA in the last six months. Has. Sold over two hundred and sixty, two million dollars in shares. Now, really quickly for some balance on this story, these executives were using what's called a ten B five dash one form for insider trading. So what this is is it's for people in their positions that have were a word or call to possess a material non public information. So just basically information that's not public. So what they do is. they they create a written plan to buy or sell stocks. In this case, clearly, it was a sell when they're not in possession of that information. Now, it's not for me to say when or well how they were in possession of information or did they have that before they created this plan, but you can see in the last six months there's. been a lot of activity even the SEC chairman is Jay Clayton..

"He's got a lot of other titles, but in an hour show I don't think we could list them all, but anyway joining me now is Dr Hotels Welcome back to the program Sir. Thanks for having me. Back. It's great to have you back. I guess the best place to start in. This conversation is just catch everyone up. There's been a lot of talk in the last few days about where we are in vaccines and vaccine trials, and there's a lot of hope out there. What's the reality of where we're at? Well so there's we're starting to see the first wave of vaccines enter into clinical trials. Ours will be a little further behind probably entered clinical trials later in the year. but the first ones are going through. It's called Operation Warp speed with are supported by the federal government through barter. The Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority in the White House and other government agencies, and now we've got some of the first data coming out of the phase one trials that. And for a couple of the RA, vaccines one from Madeira advisor in the Astra Zeneca Oxford vaccine. As well as some of the Chinese flaxseeds also turn out of operation for speed, but we're getting some clinical trials there. And you know it's not. A big groups of patients, so for instance, the Astra Zeneca vaccines I think it was forty forty five patients. And in the ten who got two doses of vaccines that of one they seem to show evidence that they could produce significant levels of what are called virus neutralizing antibodies. This is a type of antibody that binds to the spike protein of the virus and prevents the virus from binding to our issues. And that's not the only thing you need. You also need T- Salvemini responses, and other things, but virus neutralize. If you don't have virus, neutralizing antibodies seems like. Don't get protection, so that's at least. From the monkey trials as what we saw originally was SARS one, so the fact that they were able to do that as a good sign. That's the good news that's. I mean so break not so bring but the. Cautious news is ten patients the two doses. So what you know there is this enormous amount of hype around all of this thinking that we can all go dancing in the streets now in and. On the basis of ten ten patients is of course. Not The doesn't quite connect and same with the Pfizer vaccine. Of the sixty patients twelve who got the next to the highest dose, two doses also seemed to make pretty good levels virus, neutralizing antibodies so all you can really say from these early clinical trials is there's enough there there to warrant going into the next step, which will be these large faced retrials of around ten thirty thousand patients, and then over the next year, so will hopefully have enough data showing that some of some of these vaccines action works in protecting against disease and is also doesn't pose much of a safety risk. Other, but other vaccines will follow as well you say in the next year or so and yet what we keep hearing on the news and the hype is This could be in production by October. We can have it by the end of December. Is that realistic? Yeah I think some of the confusion around the operation warp speed is there's the manufacturing piece and there's all the clinical testing piece of the manufacturing piece says we're producing these vaccines risks. That's the term that Dr vowed. She uses meaning that whether or not we know the backseat works or safe will have it ready to go by the ended year beginning of next year, but That's one of the problems with way..

"Have died and nearly 2.7 million have tested positive for covert ID Be and course thoughts of myself. Everyone on this committee are with those individuals and those families who have been affected. I've called this hearing really to look at in update on the efforts that the administration's put together, and frankly, members of this committee were very involved in to see if we couldn't establish a new way to look responding. Toe pandemic. I think we have the chance to actually write a new important chapter in what that response. Looks like developing the right back scene. The right therapeutics. The right testing is important. And I think we're going to talk today about ways. To try to have all of the safeguards in developing all of those things about with a federal partner going forward more quickly than we would have ever gone forward today. I saw in reporting this morning that visor is just passed an important mark with the vaccine they're working on. Maybe the most significant thing I saw in that article was advisers believes they may have 100 million doses of that vaccine available by the end of the year. That would be an extraordinary thing if it happens, and I think what we're going to hear from our witnesses today. Is that there are other companies that would be developing different vaccines. That also would add to that that figure that might be available late this year or early next year. Like the administration's willingness toe, take this new initiative, the willingness of the administration and, frankly, our Appropriations Committee and the The Congress in what we did in the last Cove in act to put some money behind, taking a chance, not a chance with an effective vaccine or test but a chance that we may move forward with something that doesn't work. More to also allow us to move forward Early was something That does work. This committee, the full committee and the kind the Congress has provided nearly $10 billion for this overall effort, and the vast majority of this investment will support the research and development of vaccines. And treatments there over 100 vaccines and development worldwide operation Warp speed, I believe is beginning to focus in on about seven would they that we would encourage the advancement of into clinical trials and further development. Importantly as N I H and the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority continue to oversee. The development of these vaccines were also going to be talking today about how manufacturing for maybe the first time ever would begin while the vaccine is still going through the other process, and maybe while tests are still going through the other process, as we saw earlier this year With diagnostic testing research at N. I h. The current processes can be streamlined to make them faster. Just because something is new doesn't mean it's better, but this is a time. To try things and to see what we can figure out to make work under the Shark Tank program program that particularly Senator Alexander and I spent a lot of time talking to people at this table about principally Dr Collins, but people at this table manufacturers And others were hoping the fast track diagnostic test have tests that are easier to take with a quicker response. Frankly, millions of people can take dozens of times getting school started in the fall that residential campuses and elementary and secondary schools on all other campuses. Having a test available will make a big difference. Subcommittee chair Roy Blunt. Some people have warned that the timetable to develop both testing vaccines next year is for two fast. Others have said. Well, maybe accelerating. The process means that regulatory corners will be cut. We're gonna be working really hard to be sure, that is absolutely not the case and I think our leaders here today. Will help reassure us of what they're doing to see that. That doesn't happen this an opportunity for our witnesses to explain to our committee and the American people how the development process works, how they'll ensure that the vaccine will be safe and even with an accelerated research and development time table how the vaccine will be distributed across the country. As quickly as possible. I've said to several people, people lately on the topic of vaccine and distribution that obviously developing the back scene is the top priority. But right below that top priority is having a plan that distributes that vaccine in a way that people believe it's fair and equitable on meets the standards that we should be establishing. Right now they're clearly concerns about the vaccine. About half of Americans are either reluctant about one out of five Americans says they're just not going to take the vaccine. I certainly intend to Andi. I think most Americans will, and as we reassure people about this process They also think about smallpox and polio and other things that in many cases, vaccines have been ableto move outside the system because vaccines did theirjob and kids in the fourth and fifth grade. Don't line up any longer, so that every single person takes their smallpox shock like they did when most of us were kids. I hope today's hearing really makes an impact on those concerns. I believe it will on DH look forward to our witnesses. Sarah Murray is here and I'm going to recognize her for her opening statement. Sarah Murray, thanks for being with us today, and thanks for working together to have this hearing, the ranking Democrat on the subcommittee Thank you very much. Mr Chairman. I really want to thank you, Shelly for allowing our community members to participate in this hearing virtually today and I want to take all of our committee staffer setting everything up, and I watched all of our witnesses who are joining us today as well. Your agencies play a critical role in the development of some of the most important tools against the Koven 19 pandemic safe and effective diagnostics to identify cases, therapies to help patients of frontline workers fight this disease and, ultimately a vaccine to move towards ending this crisis. That is what Congress has appropriated more than 6.5 $1,000,000,000..

"Been tested. We've all been tested. We're quite a distance away and we're outdoor so. I told them I gave them the option they could wear it or not see can blame it on me but I gave them the option. We could wear it not so the president is they're saying kind of what I'd like. Optional vaccine options masks and also optional. Open carry so rick. Bright was the guy who was who has traditionally for many years. He's been in and out of government and back to the pharmaceutical industry multiple times and he is the guy that was supposed to be in charge of the vaccine. This is the Barda the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority. And this was unceremoniously taken away from him as he was pushed out. And now of course. He's a whistle blower. So Oh yeah we. He has a job. But listen to this guy's career and you start to understand why you really don't want him in the business of vaccines in this case. Certainly as he started Atlanta Georgia Vaccine Research Center. Ninety eight to two thousand and two we worked at the CDC in Atlanta where he studied influenza a virus and the h five and one from two thousand and two thousand three. He went to the pharmaceutical industry. Which is always great when you're in government and you go to the private industry and then you can shepherd stuff in So he went to `Althea Therapeutics is that which is also in Atlanta and he was a senior research for their vaccine immunology programs in two thousand three he went back to the CDC. He's only a year that he was in private business and then he was still in Atlanta but then he was focused on the avian flu and he was there until two thousand six in two thousand six to two thousand eight. He went to Novak's like the number one penny stock of vaccine bull crap on the stock market. During that time he participated in World Health Organization Committees on Vaccine Development and pandemic preparedness and then in two thousand eight he worked at the bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and then in two thousand ten he came back to the Department of Health and Human Services so the guy is way too in entrenched in in the pharmaceutical business. I don't think you want this guy running the show. And the fact that he's so pissed off about and so angry that he's become a whistleblower. I think tells us I'm sorry. Go on I think that tells us that. This was not the way. It's supposed to go. This is we are going to learn eventually so much about the pharmaceutical and medical industry. All the Egos and all the money takes place and it's GonNa blow us away because the scandal and the bull crap and the money is ten times bigger than than than movies especially today. This is rick bright testifying because of course we to testify today. The world is confronting a public health. Emergency unlike any we've seen in over a century we are facing a highly transmissible and deadly virus which not only claims lives but also disrupts the very foundations of our society. The American healthcare system is being taxed to the limit. Our economy is spiraling downward and our population is being paralyzed. By fear stemming from a lack of coordinated response and a dearth of accurate clear communication about the path forward Americans urine to get back to work to open their businesses and to provide for their families. I get that however what we do must be done in charge so he gets. He says he's the PERMIRA Canada back to work to open their businesses and to provide for their families. I get that but this is the this is the attitude of these people. I am King however what we do must be done carefully with guidance from the best scientific minds. Our window of opportunity is closing if we fail to improve response. Now based on science I fear the pandemic you'll get worse and be prolonged. Yeah this is. My favorite part is now bringing it all back around to science entrusted. Republicans in particular. Don't believe in science. There will be likely resurgence of Kobe. This fall it'll be greatly compounded by.

I walk past first thing. I'm not wearing their face mask. While within six feet of other staff in public space as all upper case now I am disappointed in what I thought was a tomb of individual to appreciate it an employer that had as much concern for them as they do themselves. We spent the last month in net losses as a result of our selfless act of closing the stores and paying everyone for a week so that we can do our part in trying to keep our staff and their families healthy safe as well as mentally and emotionally secure in very uncertain times. All caps still. That won't happen. We can't get our money back but I damn sure we'll take action to make sure it was not in vain V. A. N. E. Misspelling. We will do absolutely everything in our power to prevent sickness and the risk of having to close our doors again blah blah blah blah. Let me be clear in writing. So there's no misunderstanding. I won't do the voice. We're wearing a facemask. Shes Gregory facemask by employees. I just spent all over my screen wearing a face mask by employees and subcontractors requirement while conducting company business at anytime anywhere and while our property for any reason following company protocol for preventing covert nineteenth spread at a rate of one hundred percent. It's a requirement. The problems are simple. Employees terminated for being a clear and present danger to health safety and wellbeing of our team members and customers by not taking the required by company policy of wearing a face mask to help prevent Frederick overnight day. That's pretty serious. Where what you run into this little screed one of our producers Who I'm going to keep anonymous works there and this was sent to her. Yeah it's really that's why I'm saying who cares. Let's go for do it get over it already so we can just move on because we'll never get out of this will never ever get out of this by the way the CDC data Which I have the link for in the show notes couple of our producers record this data and and you know from week to week at Cetera and this producer said I went to update my spreadsheet. Notice that they have increased all of the at. Twenty one thousand nine hundred twenty twenty season numbers even though most weeks have been listed as one hundred percent reported before increased total deaths by literally thousands per week they said in there and we have the proof their own documents. This is one hundred percent counted or one hundred percent reported and then they re updated it and they just added thousands to several weeks. What the CDC is is not a good outfit bid corrupt for years. Now to go back to your your statement about this not being They requirement and not being a law that we have to adhere to you. Of course absolutely right. Here's Dr Drew. Who IS STILL? I don't know if he's on FAO cheese fierce squad anymore free wheeling but here's his latest now let's remind ourselves the CDC never recommended shutdown. They never recommended down they recommended. It's social distancing. Let's not confuse social distancing and shut down. Those are two very different things. Shutting down businesses isolating in place. Those those are far reaching measures beyond mere social distancing so the real question is was that necessary might there have been a more rational intermediate step to take a close. Some businesses closed some schools isolate nursing homes. That have been a more sophisticated way to do this. And given that California we overshot by somewhere between a factor of ten and fifty evidence. We didn't suggest we did a great job. And maybe we did too job depending on how bad or our economy is hit brother so now I have probably the most frightening thing of the day. I'll get it out of the way right away. Thank you while we cannot while we have not been forced to shut down. We've been compliant very compliant. Human Resources doing as we're told social engineering in great play were being shamed into compliance and the ultimate question is when a vaccine comes around. How is that going to work now? we'll probably dive in later into this Rick. Bright character who keeps coming back Who was slated to be the guy running the program now? The military's going to do that. We'd already said I think a couple of weeks ago that was going to be warp. Speed Operation Warp Speed. Was the get the vaccine done and out and ready for distribution by January of twenty twenty one. So when that comes out do we will. We all have to take it. Is it going to be optional? Will you take the vaccine? John No nobody in the family's taken this vaccine. And what if you're forced to take the vaccine? GonNa Happen here is a constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz. Let's be very clear how we break down this issue. The city of New York the State of New York has the power close arc based on their view that it would be helpful in defeating the pandemic. Absolutely no question about that. Supreme Court has case case. If the case saying that public health justifies closing down parks closing down a public areas. The next question is. Does the governor have the right to do that? Governors generally are not authorized to make the law. They're authorized to enforce the law. So you'd have to look to see if there were legislative authority allowing the governor to close the far. If there is that it would be legitimate. let me put it very quickly. You have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread the disease even disagreeing. You have no right not to be vaccinated. You have no right not to wear a mask band if you refuse to be vaccinated. The state has the power to literally take you to a doctor's office and plunged a needle into your arm if the back nation is designed to prevent the spreading disease the vaccination is only to prevent a disease that you will get for example visit disease. That will kill you. You have the right to refuse that but you have no right to refuse vaccinated against a contagious disease. Albuque- help police. The constitution gives the state the power to compel that Dan their cases in the United States. Bring Forth Holy Crap. I was not aware that that was Constitutionally somehow possible well I'd like to hear other interpretations Dershowitz has got one opinion about a lot of stuff right but we typically like what Turkey Woods has to say can't just because you disagree can't say he's become a bit of a Arm Waiver recently. I mean he's I mean he's what he's saying is probably true but I'm sure there's other ways of dealing with while this is not going to happen. We're not going to get a shot. The suggest remember h one n one wine flu. We're still waiting for so on this show. We discussed going to member. That whole rigmarole is to be two shots. Maybe three and then go to one and then become part of the flu shot. And there's all these different things that's went era when people at because I took pictures and put it in the newsletter where they were giving the shots out in Albany. They had a line remember that. Yeah yes yeah. Opening a star wars the public will line up for this shot in such a to such a degree. Yeah that you there's not gonNA they're gonNA force anyone to get the shot because there's going to be so many people getting the shot they're going to probably run out of it. Yeah that's a good point. That's a good point lineup. But lined up a mile long and as the President says fully Thaksin's for everyone the public or a partially approved vaccine with emergency. You know we're looking for a full vaccine for everyone that wants to get it not everybody's GonNa want to get it there. You go so we're looking at it. Full vaccine is that a correct will so the answer. What is the question? We're looking at a full vaccine. What is that like a half man? I'll take a quarter quarterback. He was asking me. Something does not quite bully approved. I understand I understand get. Nfo Vaccine is that a correct get will so the answer is the answer is yes. We're working for a fully approved vaccine but we'll also use the tools we have for instance emergency use authorization As as appropriate we all of our regulatory tools to bring vaccine available for the entire American population by January. Okay Mr President Clarify. Shire some of you wearing masks. And why are some of you know wearing? Please all been tested. I've been tested. We've all been tested. We're quite a distance away and we're outdoor so. I told them I gave them the option. They could wear it or not so you can blame it on me. But I gave them the option. Twenty one thousand nine hundred twenty twenty season numbers even though most weeks have been listed as one hundred percent reported before increased total deaths by literally thousands per week even though they said in there and we have the proof their own documents. Some businesses closed some schools isolate nursing homes That have been a more sophisticated way to do this. And given that in California we overshot by somewhere between a factor of ten and fifty evidence. John No nobody in the family's taken this vaccine and what if you're forced to take the vaccine going to happen here is a constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz. You have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread the disease even if disagreeing you have no right not to be vaccinated. Bring Holy Crap I was not aware that that was Constitutionally somehow possible well I'd like to hear other interpretations Dershowitz has got one opinion about a lot of stuff right but we typically like what Turkey Woods has to say can't just because you disagree can't say he's become a bit of a Arm Waiver recently. I mean he's I mean he's what he's saying is probably true but I'm sure there's other ways of dealing with while this is not going to happen. We're not going to get a shot. The suggest remember h one n one wine flu. We're still waiting for so on this show. We discussed going to member that whole rigmarole to be two shots. Maybe three and then go down to one and then become part of the flu shot. What is the question. We're looking at a full vaccine. What is that like a half man? I'll take a quarter quarterback signed hex. She was asking. Something does not quite fully approved. Certainly.

"The VM. Jay Is the something of Medical Journal. Okay anyway whatever it is. It's a real medical journal real medical report. Abstract this is I cluster. Randomised trial of cloth masks compared with medical masks and the objective was to see. If there's a difference what is good? What is not good? It's all marked up. One of our producers actually was kind enough to this conclusion. The study is the first of cloth masks and the results. Caution against the use of cloth masks which is what we're all using because we don't have enough disposable medical masks moisture retention reuse of cloth masks and poor filtration may result in increased risk of infection right there and the B. M. J. So we are not getting good information. This is what's frustrating. This is what's driving people. I think nuts I have one of our producers works in a store which is starting to open up and this is believe it or not a store with Democrats and I just listened to this note that has been written to the managers of this Place Managers I've been in the store for ninety seconds and two of the first nine people. I won't do the voice anymore. Wearing a facemask. Employees terminated for being a clear and present danger to health safety and wellbeing of our team members and customers by not taking the required by company policy wearing a face mask to help prevent Frederick overnight day. That's pretty serious. Where what you run into this little screed one of our producers Who I'm going to keep anonymous works there and this was sent to her. "Seasonal influenza without better planning twenty twenty could be the darkest winter in modern history okay well then thanks for that winter is coming up that's that's very very exciting news and what what are his suggested steps a national testing strategy oh you mean like how there is one and how they're trying to roll it out and also how states are generally responsible for deciding how much testing as you need in their states to the national government isn't good at things and also he says we need a plan for equitable distribution of essential equipment and supplies you know the federal government actually got like a hundred thousand ventilators we now have way too many ventilators is turned on the bent letters are actually not only effective but in some cases counterproductive for treatment Dr right of course is really getting all this attention not because he has a great advice to offer but simply because he's claiming that he was silenced for his unwillingness to go along with the same one views of the administration which again is the evidence for that is sketchy at best in in in a in another not shock right is going to air his complaints about the trump administration pandemic in response to a house oversight committee overseen by representative Anna Eshoo a Democrat who represents a northern California district council company that received more than a hundred and ten million dollars in awards from Barda well bright led the office in other words she is allied with bright other companies with offices in every district benefit if more than a hundred million dollars in awards from bart in the decade prior to Bryce leadership this according to politico S. U. who helped craft the two thousand six legislation to create the biomedical advanced research development authority as a bar is and has since worked bolstered authorities also has been a long time booster of bright so basically he's testifying in front as allies who also not coincidentally are going to boost his opinions of president trump so yes this thing has become incredibly political and none of that is a giant surprised again it doesn't have to be political so we've had on our program before Dr Marty they carry transaction may carry repeatedly on the radio show and documentary is a professor of health policy at Johns Hopkins who served in both the Obama administration's wells an adviser to the trump administration has a piece at The New York Times in which explains what he thinks should be done I guess what it sounds exactly like what the blood may have been saying need to be done he says the what we need is much masking as possible when you are in a place where you can affect somebody else this is nothing like Los Angeles by the way in LA Eric Garcetti the guys just in he's a he's a posturing don't you sent out a mass task texted to everyone in Los Angeles telling everyone that is now mandatory that you wear a mask when you go outside now when you go into a store now when you go into a crowded area now when you can't socially dozens now when there's a possibility not socially distancing when you go outside all the matches Eric Garcetti's idiotic policies with regard to the beaches out here he says you're allowed to swim you're allowed to walk you're allowed to run on the beach you're not actually let you sit on the beach and picnic doesn't matter three hundred feet away from everybody I let you know what Marty McCary suggests this is doctor McKay from Johns Hopkins he suggested we spend more time outside also we must prioritize safeguarding nursing homes Y. who has been saying this for weeks on end why it sounds almost like what I have been talking about for a very long time which is make sure the most vulnerable are protected and then let other people go out and interact with one another with enough protections we don't spike over the health care system so basically carries what is exactly the same as mine by the way pretty much the same as the trump administration but trump is very bad he's very very bad and people we need to listen to our our people who are spouting doom and gloom without any specific proposals for how to move past the doom and gloom coming up we'll get to the question of whether your constitutional rights are being violated big decision comes down from the Supreme Court in Wisconsin is the venture for special report coronavirus update some of the states hit hardest by the covert nineteen pandemic are loosening restrictions this weekend with an eye on the upcoming Memorial Day weekend but U. infections continue to pop up states are seeing their daily number of new coronavirus cases rise like Texas South Dakota and Arkansas or governor Aissa Hutchinson had initially planned to move to a face to opening Monday there are a lot of good indicators in Arkansas but we still want to be careful as we continue to look for ways to lift up some of these restrictions in Washington I'm Karen K. five a Florida based healthcare system says more than thirty five thousand coronavirus tests performed by a third party labs are unreliable former president Obama criticized some U. S. leaders overseeing the pandemic response in online commencement.

"By the way I play it my eleven year old plays it. It's kind of family friendly. So it's great and you don't need Internet to play so you don't need to worry about Wi fi access or using cell data best game monthly with new levels and events so never gets old and monitoring. The puzzles include characters. That you need to use strategically throughout the game progress and what I love about that. It's really not met for Gamers. Susan I think you are a Gamer from framers to worked for GAMERS DO. But it's it's it's casual games. You can be somebody like me. Who just kind of POPs in and out plays little as much as you like how much time you have or you can play between. Halo rounds. Whatever it worked for you. Whatever works for you. That's right so check out today. Your APP store again. That's best means like friends but without the are and when you play definitely let us know how it's going on twitter on social media while we now know that not only were the first deaths in February in the US like early February We also know that in France they had covert patients in late December. Whoa what I had missed that is. I think it's it's I mean. It does seem like this whole thing started before with audited and that it has a slow ramp up maybe the these the crisis inflection points the point where everything starts going to hell picks a longtime to build from what we've seen longtime you'd like weeks and two months not like forever but again it can go. It can be there undetected Community for many weeks on end before someone starts to notice what's going on in. What if it's like one of those things where it does? It can even be dormant for a while you have it it's dormant and then it something activates it up like three or four week. I feel like there's so much unknown about this virus and yet here we are. We're thirty one. St CNN's reporting are about to quote reopened in different ways. Every state has own little thing and the weirdest thing is not to states but like ocean city Maryland. To huge attraction has officially reopened this this week or something or this weekend is reopening or today or something however the Mayor City Maryland said we are going to the beaches but only in accordance with the governor's strict stay at home requirements. W-what how does that operate? Basically they're saying you're on that one the beaches I the beaches. I think should be open as long as people are. Being mindful of distancing practices beaches should be open outdoor. Should be open. Park should be open. The crazy crowded park shouldn't be happening but I think trying to close down. The beaches in the parks is detrimental. It's agree there. We're trying to do but my understanding is that when he says the boardwalk is going to be open. He means the shops and the restaurant. I exactly one wouldn't applied the USO much but one possibility that I think it's been proposed. I don't know how much there is yet to show any proof of this but one possibility is that we're dealing with crop protection issues to explain the different section rates. We know for some viruses. It's fairly common for infections by another similar virus to infer not a unity but resistance To another different type of iris related to the one they had before Which who knows could possibly go somewhere. Explain why we're seeing different rates of infection Because other some locations already have at home to a local virus outbreak that is conferring some protection or assistance that lowers the transition rate. There maybe I mean it's all baby and that's the problem well which is interesting before we don't actually know like it is possible. It is in fact possible that we can just open everything. Don't go fine. Is it likely I don't think so? Is it worth risking absolutely not hands down but as a possible? Yeah there's a universe where that like we could just open everything in. It'd be fine I feel. It's like such an unlikely universe only because we were looking at what's happening. For example populations that are captive. And I understand like prison populations senior homes but also in the last week. It's been reported. You know three of the major processing Meat Processing. Plants have closed fifteen of their plants. Tyson Jabs in Smithfield because forty nine hundred workers combine those three plans according to the CDC tested positive for Kobe. Those are people going to work together. The those are the people who were told. Apparently that everything's GonNa be fine. Frigid frigid temperatures in the processing. Plant WILL KEEP THEM SAFE. And by the way even without a pandemic these people usually wear a lot of protective gear in these plants like they usually have a lot of stuff covered hands covered face covered and yet that is an incredible incredible outbreak in some settings. There's no mystery. Cova spread like wildfire and right. But what about these plans? I mean it's like anybody working anywhere right there. I I would almost say that. These workers might be more protected than many of the workers and other kinds of industries working together. Maybe actually about it like the cold and equipment obviously close together inside. Olympic combet higher risk and protective gear. They have enough are there. Are they actually protected from viruses? Like I don't know I will. I will also say this just kind of understanding the industry and my father for the US Department agriculture for years and many many workers in these plants are often migrant workers or immigrant workers and many of them live together in the same kind of communities and many of them. The doctor travelled together like in buses and vans and stuff like that so it could be stuff that's happening. Outside of work to their contacts there that is causing that rate of infection. All right so do we WANNA talk about the new whistleblower report complaint. Yeah I mean the new one. The problem is that we're now this strange and possibly some point inevitable mixture of forces where we have trump triumphant after his impeachment where he realized he can say fuck democracy and everything works out. Fine Him Where Republicans have stopped protesting his abuse of power. And are willing to just like Shrug and say what William about it Combined with the pandemic which means people don't have the attention or ability to give the sustained effort necessary to force trump to do anything this point Where you can have the whistle blower Lake Rick. Bright the former top vaccine scientists and the pain response in the United States government. I'm cows whistleblower. Letting stop with stuff that happened before all this. That's naked corruption and it's a big deal is sort of but like he's not even scheduled to testify on the Hill Azfar. Far as I've seen and it's kind of like well. What do you expect which is worth it because this is this? Is the stuff that should be like you know administration defining moment. And it's like oh well of course happened so Dr Bright headed up Barda which was a little agency within health and Human Services or create in two thousand six. It was in response to nine eleven and basically it will acronym on that bar. The Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority Barda. Yes so basically. The whole purpose of it was that it was going to be like government agency that would help partner with private entities to help the stockpile the federal government stockpile things needed to combat biological chemical attacks pandemic threat things like that they. They were a lot of pharmaceutical companies and other private entities and biotech firms. And stuff like that. Now he's been there since He has been there about four years. And he's right so his was blower complaint has issues back like at least two thousand seventeen. I believe and basically. What can the allegations? Can you give us like a an overview with the major allegations are in this complaint so the procurement is a huge one? I how the trump administration goes about getting supplies from the private market and for instance when rights allegations has to do with Robert Catholic who was at eighty jus- and he was Brad's boss at the time and according to Bright Catholic and others pressuring him to government contracts to acquire these drugs and medical products for the nation's stockpile from from people and companies were favored by the trump administration. Which is illegal. And I don't think you can do Government contracting is designed to be done in a way. That does not allow them to happen. Of course. It's still can. He will involved. Aren't doing it right. Which is what embraced. Saint happened here. Which again would be a huge scandal. Now we're like. Oh the trump ministration just pressure people in the government to buy from companies. I Li- I mean. Of course they're doing that. Which is worth it to some. We know what's happening so it's harder to feel that outrage that we should have felt and would have felt in any other administration but one of the bigger the more publicized parts. The complain has to do with Of course hydro Dr Corcoran which is the miracle drug. That trump was probing for reason other than he thought looked. Good once in a news conference from softener after he was committed to it And trump ministration was trying to acquire vast mouth struggles untested and unproven in any way to treat people in New Jersey and New York and bright check into that is being totally bonkers And in the end guess what turns out just and does nothing to be a good treatment at all for and bright had leaked that to the media like a went back. I think early martyr some point which is not illegal at all like if it's not leaking things are not classified in public interest. Not considered like it's not a crime. It's not illegal at all. Can you fired shirt? But it's not in any crime. Well he was fired fired in April. He was transferred. Transfer and H What demoted and another part of the complaint also says that he had been he had encountered opposition from his superiors including Jessica Secretary Alex Cesar when he was trying as early as Jan early as January for You know try to prepare for this pandemic to develop drugs and vaccines and he was getting pushback from his seniors would really goes back to the whole issue of like. When did the administration know? And when did they start taking it seriously? Which maybe is not even now but yeah. The whole trump's responses has been to downplay it hope for the best and when the best doesn't happen just move on like again and again he's like holding out for a ten percent chance of the miracle and if it does happen great everything's fine And it's your core. She hasn't changed at all. You'RE NOT GONNA lose anything if everything works out fine. Then you're the best issue public opinion and every time we're losing that dice roll another part of the strategy. Also I think is that I feel like he can find clips of him saying every single possible thing he could say in response this time so he kind of covers all bases. He'd be like oh no. I did say it's going to be a pandemic that Siri like. He hasn't made every remark possible when he always just say to start castle. I glad that I was kidding. I was joking. Oh my God oh yeah The bleach thing or the disinfectant injecting thing or the Nobel prize for the journalist. Oh God that was awful. Well trump got out and about yesterday. He made a visit to Honeywell and basically held a campaign event there but pay music at his presidential event. Which you know again in normal times scandal because that's a violation of what you're allowed to do when you're acting as the president you campaign. Uk's campaign he's a can't make a campaign rally. No one cares anymore because everyone knows that they can't stop trump doing and trump's GonNa do it anyway. Yeah like people are just like it's like this. Let go of certain issues. Like what do you do? What do you do which again like? There's no way to not do that to some degree to which trump knows taking Banja. But like we're GONNA PANDEMIC. We don't have time to you know care about trump's minor corruption. Well Okay so. At this event he once again did not wear masks wore visors. Because that's for some reason what in case. There's an eclipse stare at again. He was given some kind of weird plaque with a mask hanging inside of it. I Guess Honeywell's making these mouses a new site. They just put up to make the mosques. He had the same kind of thank you..

"May Fifth at four. Pm It was two hundred fourteen positive Cova nineteen cases from May I by the way on May second it was like at thirty cases. We're now at ten twelve on the nose. Am On may sixth. We now have a four hundred thirty cases listed on May first four hundred thirty cases on May I again we started on. May second there. Were like thirty cases reported by May fourth at one hundred twenty eight and now it's four hundred thirty. It's it's a pretty significant increase We have from their one hundred thirty cases on May second one hundred ten on May third eighty one on May fourth thirty two on May fifth in three thus far this morning we we and those numbers will go up. And I've been saying all along. Those numbers will go up. But let's get the trend lines out of the way now. On April twenty-seventh eight hundred sixty four on April twenty eight seven hundred sixty six on April. Twenty one thousand six hundred thirteen on April thirtieth five hundred ninety on I. I'm sorry I would looking at number eight. Sixty four on April twenty-seventh seven sixty six on April twenty eighth five eighty four on April twenty ninth five eleven. On April thirtieth four thirty on the trend lines continued to be the right direction and there are experts out there. Saint Georgia should not be showing you the data. You should only see the total number of cases that come in. Ironically if you see the total number of cases that come in for me I it's over twelve hundred cases and you're thinking oh my gosh. We've had an explosion but that's not really it. What happens is the Georgia Department of Public Health? They placed those numbers of the day. So you get a twelve hundred cases that come in but two hundred of them there from April fourth hundred of them or from April twentieth. The rest of 'em there from May first and you add the Minnie's orbiters out that day. There's not this huge spike that you would if you listen to the media headlines would believe and so now these experts. Georgia's just giving you people too much information it's going to allow you to check in for example. Y. Lemme Lemme do. Yesterday may fifth at thirty two cases. Yesterday you're only thirty. Two cases on May fifth is really going away tomorrow. Turns out there actually? Two Hundred Cases. Let me fifth. What happened they rigged? The data must be spiracy. Listen I know there are conspiracy minded people out there. What is the Vin Diagram on the people who believe the covert Nineteen deaths are overstated? Five G. is going to allow Bill Gates to control you like a westworld host and vaccines are bad. I'm I'm wondering. What is the Vin Diagram on that? Because I haven't even gotten into the five G. stuff which is all a bunch of Hooey From many of the same people who believe that will will give you brain damage or some such but nonetheless The I realized were conspiracy minded people out there. But I'm I'm a big believer that while people are stupid collectively individually There are a lot of people out there who would appreciate getting accurate data as opposed to having the media. Just tell you the nightmare scenarios without giving you stuff. It's it's a wild ride. It it really is but you know the media has certain framing. Take this rick bright complaint you know who? Rick Bright is rick bright is he was the head of the US agency responsible for developing drugs to fight the pandemic Rick Bright. He was reassigned Senator Health Services Secretary Alex as czar and Rick. Bright left while he was forcibly reassigned as director of Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority of from. Hhs and he says he was a whistle blower that he blew the whistle that the corona virus coming. He's producing all sorts of memos. Listen here's the I. I don't know whether Rick Bright is telling the truth or not. The Department of Health and Human Services is rick. Bright was transferred to a job where he was entrusted with about a billion dollars to develop diagnostic testing and that things did not go well for him and now he is he. He's got a government was the lower complaint. And.
