"I got to the part that Quinn said pictures my you know what days 10 days to learn this staff that day that I showed up. My first job was to catch Catfish Hunter. And Bill I had been with the staff in Cleveland. Guys who I knew, you know, you call for striking You hope for strikes. Never get strike. Captain Hunter. I think five innings 15 batters 15 the eagle that I didn't break a sweat. And I said, You gotta be kidding me. And then Holtzman invited there one after another. What? After? No keep coming out. And you know it was a four man rotation at that time, and then Rollie would come in and close it. That time was no one any favors three inning. And you don't build a 1974 against the Dodgers in the World Series. We had nine pitchers on the staff, which means we have 16 position players think about that in today's world. And we'll use five pictures in a five game World Series. Five pictures and that's it and people say, you know you can't match it. No, I said, Look it up five pictures in the first game. Kenny Holtzman pitch for 1/3. And Robbie came in to pitch for the third as the closer a catfish hunter struck out Joe Ferguson for the final out. You could say that, but and so, Yeah, it was. It was so different because you know, I caught the 1st 50 games of the season and Bill I didn't know what to tell the age of quiet. Jason killed them. They had the little side box said most games caught to start a season and I was the top of list with 50. I don't know that because you know letters to Ray. You caught three of them. And that's the last time that's ever happened. Bill if you think about it, I mean, you're lucky you're lucky to get 200 picture in a 15 16 game winner very rare to get a 20 game when I mean, that's why Garrett Cole and Justin Verlander are normally they're rare. In today's world, So yes to catch those guys and and then to play the Mets and be down three games to do coming back from New York. We're gonna win and end up winning game six and seven. So it was a dream come true. And a bill to be honest here I am still broadcasting for the all these years later, and this has been my home, okay in my home, and I gotta get into that football mentality of you because I read a couple fights that you got into Billy Norse fighting Reggie Jackson. And what is Ray Faucet tries to break it up and what happens, crushes the desk in his neck. That's the 1st 1 and then the 2nd 1 A brawl with the Tigers in 1971 5 stitches and you're out. Come on. What were you? Ah, you have football mentality back then. Well, that and you know the catcher. We protect our picture's destroyed. Sweet Billy North and Reggie, who broke trying to break up the fight by the boat. He was pitching that night, so I invited. Get off! Get off! Let's go. And I went back and hit a locker. Not my I hada with much in shadow. 67 vertebrae in my life, So that's one but but you know, the funny one. We're going back in 71. Billy Martin was managing and boy they just come off a 68 World championship. And Jim Price broadcast for the Tigers. And he said Ray Fosse received the first karate kick in baseball. Because because in the game against the Tigers, really Horton Gates tonight Brown norm cash. I mean, that was my club, right? There sure was exactly But you know the one guy, the late Al Qaeda and unfortunately lost in this past year, but You know I When he came up, I said, Dear Lord, don't hit the franchise. Don't don't And sure enough it. Sure enough, he goes that I'm helping him up. I'm helping him up off the ground dust in these uniforms and over the dugout, another Martin's got his fingers and building he's faced. Thank you know, basically the first guy when the first guy was me. And Greg was playing third. He saw it. I said, Why didn't you tell me? At least I would have known, so I go up to the plate, and before I got out I was the first hitter. Take it off the catching, Gerry and you know normally you step in and look at the third base coach. I put about quarter the batter's box, and before I could get back in, I could still have this day. See his arm coming and right. It might my chest by body. Whatever. We didn't have your flat's time I got hit in the rib cage and I'm thinking another foot and 1/2. I get hit the temple and who knows? And as soon as I hit the ground, I'm flying to the mouth and I put my fist up, but I'm going to drilling. And here comes the foot. And that karate kid? Yeah. Got five stitches to I got it and Jim Price Price. I was so sad. She was catching And he said I couldn't get to you quickly enough. But what he was told me down. He said. He said Stay down there. You know, Really, Horton. You're really hardly Willie's angry I said, Hold me down. Hold me Willy was a big big bird was a big boy. Sure, you know that man there The guys flying all over the field and blood and, you know, fights, you know, you know, it was an amazing amazing scene, but, you know, Just one of those things, but yeah, it was. I enjoyed football it and build a fort for kids. I can't think what happens. Kids have a tendency to pigeon holed themselves into one sport and God forbid you don't make it. You know, I enjoy enjoy playing football. Go to basketball, go to baseball, and then I played baseball in the summer. In every sport, as you know, helps the other And so it was something And for those who think that all I don't want you to play football because you might get hurt, just like the football players They're saying right now. We could get hurt more by not playing and practicing and being around or to mate than that So In on one hand, I'd like to see that travel to clubs and all that baseball. You know, Bill, my mother couldn't afford it. I couldn't play baseball because he could have afforded to buy the equipment and do all the things that was back in back in the day, when when you played multiple sports, I played basketball couldn't wait to play basketball. My shoes came off in September. I was playing basketball and what's spring came I had my glove back on so And I think why in multiple sports you get to know a little bit more about your body to cause you're doing different things in the mental side of the game, too. So I agree right with you. No, I think it's great and I'm happy and I try to say that as much as possible because you know there's so much of the fear factor. You know, someone told me my senior year in high school said You can't play football because you know you're gonna be drafted by, you know in baseball, I said So you know, my mother was raising three boys and she knew that I was at practice and playing football. But you know if I'm not doing that, who knows what I'm doing? And like I said, I could have got a lot more trouble and got hurt. So I played football and And like I said before, got football scholarships, But I picked the right sport because these guys put bar huge. I didn't want to think about that. When you were speaking to Ray Fosse on it can be our post game show. You know the voice he's on East Bay with the Oakland A's for 34 years. But, boy, it lived up to the game last night lived up to it. I thought it wasn't it us. I told you, Bruce, Saturday night Giants Dodgers. 50,000 things happen. And it happened last night. It was classic. Oh, yeah, completely. I mean, if you I'm looking at, like maybe a 1 to 1 game going into the sixth or whatever. And you know Austin Slater. It's two homers off Kershaw. I mean, what the hell and he really, really, really looked apart and the home run by Ostrovsky off Kershaw. I was Was so impressed that left handed hitter you know, two and two count and he doesn't. He doesn't back off in the slightest against a really tough lefty. And then you know. Meanwhile, quite delicious is no hitter to the dusk, really, and really entertaining game. You know, I thought he absolutely should have left him in the face. Turner I thought he earned at occurs, Turner. Get the hell out of it, but really entertaining game and And you know the finish was impressive to Trevor Gott. I sort of needed to see a little bit more of him to think he might be a closer, but he he came in there. He's got some smoke, and he's got a good breaking ball, and he's a good competitors, so maybe they think they may have found something there. Yeah, and again is one of those guys that does have movement. Ah, little bit of a funky delivery office and that's on you. If he makes a mistake at 97 you don't necessarily have to hit it out. You make a mistake at 92 it's gone. Yeah, he has a little room for for for error there. You know, it's interesting. I thought of you last night when Cueto lost the no hitter when Pence couldn't find the ball. Which was unfortunate, But you know, Bruce, it let let's face it. There's so many things that happened in a no hitter. Great plays that are made that normally aren't made and things like this happen. So that's baseball's I'd like to say, but remind me back. I don't know. Do you remember when Billy North missed the ball instead of field? I can't believe you said that I was just good. That's the first thing that came to my mind. I was sitting in the bleachers that ah Kenny. Kenny Holtzman, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Kenny Holtzman. I think it was against Detroit exam out in the bleachers and Ah and Billy North completely miss played a ball. With the no hitter and progress on their forget Holtzman turning around and yelling like a worse than that, And everybody was just dumbfounded. You know that That was just that it shouldn't have happened. No. And Ah, and to this day Ah, to this day, Holtzmann and whenever you see him whenever you see him, he brings it up. Tom ver wiser. Hit it, Joe. Salary, you go. Yeah. Yeah. Texted me last night and Rick heard Tested me texted me this morning. He was at the ballpark, of course. Ah, that time as well on DH saw it and s o Those things happened. But isn't it funny that we all thought a bill north and that Holtzman was not very amazing. Yeah, not happy. Then I thought of Yogi Berra. I think was Allie Reynolds in the early fifties, had a no hitter going. I want to say against Boston and Ah, there was a pop up and Yogi dropped it one of the duck out and Allie Reynolds had to go out there and say Ted Williams, probably not. And how to get the last out again and got it. It wasn't a hit. Yeah, so, ah, those air part of the game, But I thought Cueto was Bruce. There's something about him and I think the Dodgers can be dealt with through some degree if you get them on their front foot. Was all they want to do is hit the ball out of the park. That's your deal. Yeah, yeah, some nights. It doesn't look that great. You know, they're kind of like trying to play catch up, and everybody wants to yank one out of there and It can come back You which which I love. I mean, you know, I'm always fond of guys who You have a nice level swing. I mean, Alex Dickerson is a good example. He's not one of the elite hitters in the game. Maybe, but I just love the way he goes up there and nice level swing line drives, you know, Gap shots and he'll hit the ball out too. Of course, any look at Mike Trout, who has probably the most beautiful launch angle swing I've ever seen in this absolutely perfect so teaches, but you made me laugh on Ken Holtzman. I'm still laughing about that turn there and it said, What's up? What do you What do you doing? Funny. Very funny. It's a great base. Great baseball memory. Um Slater had the big night last night. Your strips you, of course, Still raking and Donna and Solano. Bruce. You know you, you look at the numbers He's putting up and I realize it's It's only 16 games. But heck, when the guy hit 400 well, he's going to hit 500 mornings. First guy would hit 500 over. You know, 60 games, whatever they're going to play and I know. I know. Is he really He really looked the part. You know, he comes in there. This is a game. You know, Kershaw. Maybe he gets brought back down there. It's a little bit, but he wants of getting three hits. Ahh. You know, Sam, it's almost went down. I mean, the guy's the guy's unbelievable. Hey, just looks. The part is what I like about him, he says. He's a really good hitter, and he's he's got that spot right now, which on the Giants is not always easy to learn. Now, they put out the list this morning, the highest Giants average through the 1st 16 games of the season. This goes back to the New York days as well. And the great Chief Meyers have 5 22 Sam Murtagh, SW M E. R T s. I do not 1903 Don't know him 5 21 Barry Bonds hits 102,004 19 for 38. And then you get Willy in 1964. Willie Mays for 68 29 62. And then you get Solano at 4 62 through six games. How about that? That's beautiful. The guy e. You can see him plan. You know, for years with this club is not goingto if he hits 302 or t Tu 95. He's fine. You know, this isn't gonna last, but he just says that really good approach. You know, he'll get Julia. He'll go the other way and And he has a little bit of power. So it's It's been fun to watch. Yeah, definitely fun to watch. Well, the Dodgers lose last night, the Rockies Tio Ah, one hitter last night for the Rockies. And now today, it's Arizona and San Diego and Bumgarner goes today, and Bruce said, You know, it's hard to explain. Maybe he didn't work out enough from a but the velocity is down. And he goes today against its San Diego team. This is going to be an interesting when the follow Yeah, That's a pretty big start for him because he's kind of in the spotlight. Now. Everybody's focusing on He's lost quite a bit ofthis velocity when you lose 3.5 the miles per hour from the previous year on the force Seymour the conventional fastball, you know that's that's kind of an eye opener, and it's been that way the the entire wealth what we've seen.

"The game with Mike Rice as the Rockies get a nice victory 5 to 1 over the Oakland A's a short two game set. As you mentioned earlier than it is back to the friendly confines. Of course field. Is it good or bad that in this first really weak of Major league baseball, the Rockies air getting two off off days when there's only six in the whole season? Yeah, that certainly is something they're gonna have to adjust to, But But as I mentioned I mean, 13 of the next 16 at home Plus that loan off day they have in August on the calendar that helps a little bit Jo Jo in terms of of dealing with it, and again. When you talk about guys making all kinds of trips over the course of 1 62 game season, Tio play a bunch in a row. It is something they're pretty much condition, too, and at least they're building into that. You know, Jack the the way that this season has gone So far, it feels like the Colorado Rockies are built for this and and I do believe Not having the fans in the stadium really has helped this pitching staff. I don't know what else you can attribute it to, because you know they're just throwing strikes and making it happened the way that they want to Do you believe that this is an advantage not having people in the stands for the pitching staff? I don't know if it's so much the fan's perspective it There are two things I I think for me. L looking at the pitching early on. One. The Rockies kept talking about the rotation. A CZ guys, They're young veterans now. So I mean, Airman Marquez is only 25. But he's got some seasons under his belt now and same with John Gray and Kyle Free Land and Antonio sense to tell it for that matter, and and they've settled into understanding how to prepare how to be ready for each one of those starts. The second thing that has impressed me has been the bullpen guys like El Monte Dei Dia's Estevez we have seen in their appearances. Guys who didn't always have the confidence to throw. Change jobs and breaking balls have done it MAWR in this first week in their appearances than maybe collectively last year, and so if you have guys that throw 95 then you get strikeouts on breaking balls in the dirt like Diaz did with the bases loaded in the eighth inning today, all of a sudden you can pitch Watching the defense of these guys that have been plain. I have been very much impressed with Garrett Hampson, who has made some plays. Playing in a position that you wouldn't expect him to be playing in, and that's in the outfield. Here's a guy who, you know, really, from a serious perspective, had played no outfield in his college career or in the minors. Until a couple of years ago, we went to the infield college baseball school in the country, really? I mean, at the end of the day, right? And and now you could argue guys that he is as good defensively is any outfielder the Rockies have I mean, he's made a couple of wonderful catches already, and he adds so much to the offense with his speed. There's a lot of things happening right in and obviously when you get on a winning streak, everything is nice and rosy, but they're they're they're doing the little things and when you consider They've won four out of five. Nolan Arnada has one R B I Wow. Well, tell you what. What was weird to watch today was? Ah, you know. Ah, you always preach, you know you run your heart is do what you're supposed to do all the time. You never know good things that happened. When Charlie Blackmon reach first base, and I know they escorted as an error. But when you see Lazar, though, that ball up like that, Have you ever seen anything like that? So lax from the pitching position? Just house it over. Not understanding the situation. Yeah, That was a great point. L and I think that's going to be something Iraqis will probably make an appeal Tohave that change because Unless they felt that his throw pulled Olson off the bag. But I don't think so. I think Coulson was just trying to pull us foot off the bag early. You know the kind of influence the call of Jim Wolf, the first base umpire. Yeah, I think he was just flustered a little bit Allen and didn't make a Ah, very strong. Throw it all. But you're exactly right. I mean, that's a now outfielder Ah, veteran hitter in his early to mid thirties who could have easily just said old man. I hit it right back to the box, and he's 85% going down the first baseline, but Charley pounded his way down the line. And you get two runs out of it. And that really changes the perspective in terms of getting those of final outs for your bullpen. The Rockies, by the way, have have given up the least amount of runs in major League baseball in all of major league baseball, which is tremendous, But one thing I noticed today was how important it was getting the leadoff guy on And they did it in multiple innings in a row today, even when you don't score, but he always talks about that, and I've seen it so much through the long time. I've been blessed to cover Major League baseball. Whether you score run or not. When that leadoff man gets on multiple innings, you put so much pressure on a defense because they they're not certain how you're going to approach it and things tighten up a little bit for that picture, and the manager has to say, Man, I better get somebody up in the bullpen. All those Elements that build through the course of a game that makes a difference. Well, now we Ah, get to enjoy our Colorado Rockies at home. Except this is going to be the weirdest opening day ever. Ever. Never downtown will not be buzzing. The pre game I know will be special, but How different will this be for you? I mean, you haven't called the game in that stadium yet, either. Ah, what do you anticipate? With the cardboard cutouts and everything that is going to feel like they're gonna have those across? Hell? No. I have not heard anything one way or another from the Iraqis yet. There's there's no question for my time here in Denver. L It's going to be very different. I can tell you in my early years doing the Indians when they weren't very good, and we were in the old ballpark with the 80,000 seats. It felt pretty much like the ballpark was empty. So I do have some experience with that. Well, Jack way. Appreciate it. It's gotta be. It's gotta be a little weird for the wife that you're coming home every night after work. Yeah. How about you? I'll give you one final stab. That's really good. You know, As long as everything feels really nice now, of course. This shortened schedule, so it's 37% of the season. So if you were quite for and won in a 60 games schedule right now, if it was 162 games scheduled Iraqis would be 11 and three. See, I like the sound of that We'll take that. I like the sound of that. By the way. Did you happen to see the little dust up last night between the Dodgers and the Astros and you see some suspensions have been handed out. What is your take on that? I mean, you've been watching this game and covering this game for a really long time. And you know that frontier justice sometimes is just part of the game. Well, I'll give you a real quick story. The A's were playing a team. Mike Hagen was my partner in Cleveland, and he's playing for Oakland. Billy North is leading off the game first pitch of the game to North is low on outside for a ball. He drops his bad at the plate charges the mound and they start throwing punches. And the bench is empty, and nobody knew what in God's name is going on. And Dick Williams was the manager for the athletics and as they're coming off the field, North's been ejected, he says. What were you thinking? And Billy nor said that guy hit me in a ball. So wow, The memories also extremely never forget well, Joe Kelly suspended games, which, when it's a 60 game season, that is a monster suspension that I know he's going to appeal, and we'll see if it If it holds up, Jack, we appreciate it..

"It. I, you know, I think it's one of those things that whether whether obviously it's not ideal. It's not fun to play him freezing, cold weather, but you just do it. It doesn't really change a whole lot. You might layer up a little bit more. You know, what a little more, you know, atomic bomber red hot on and get your body warmed up a little more than normal. But you try to just ignore it. Say you know, what we gotta go out go we've got to win this game. What? And sometimes you're the done. But for the most part everybody's able to just kind of focus on what what what the job is. It's well, let's talk big picture. Now. Even I mean, we've talked about your journey, and we'll ask you about that in just a second. We're talking to Stephen open about the club since you've joined the club the three into on the road. That's pretty darn good. And and you've been around this clubhouse now for five six days. You know, you've seen some interesting things in terms of Cincinnati home runs. And then you saw an explosion by the giants Tuesday night. You've seen the MAC Williamson story unfold before your eyes, can you give us the Stephen vote view of the giants clubhouse one weekend. What stories that you've paid attention to and what you're feeling from this club? Obviously, it's it's been fun. You know, I got their Wednesday night the last day of the homestand block off the dodgers. You know, it's not a bad first game as a giant get to walk up to the dodgers. But I go to Cincinnati. I mean, obviously, we didn't play up to standard that we wanted to. You know, anytime you go on the road. You wanna you wanna try to you know, obviously, you wanna take the series. But I guess you settle for a split, but we weren't thrilled with the way we played for that entire series. This team expects a lot more out of ourselves. And obviously a big win getting the Colorado. I think that that said a lot about our team just going from last game in Cincinnati to come in into Colorado. Choosing an easy place to play ever. And it was a little chilly. But now, you know, the bats came alive. So this team has resiliency. And I think we saw that with a couple of come from behind win in Cincinnati. So so far, I'm loving it. It's a great group of guys. I've enjoyed getting to know these pictures a little bit more and working with them. And yeah, just a great group. Gregor guys Stephen vote with us on the line your stories. Great, man. I mean, miss it all last year the shoulder injury and rehabbing back to get back to the the team. You grew up rooting for. What's it like coming back after missing a full year and having to face big league pitching like that? I mean you start the minor leagues. He did spring training. What's the timing trying to get back to this level? There's nothing that prepares you for the major leagues. Aaa is a huge huge step from the major leaps. You know, I think you know, that's something that I was reminded of this year. And just you know, how how far apart, you know, they really are. But these these pictures up here are are just unbelievable. They don't miss they. They don't make too many mistakes. So when they do you have to capitalize on them. But just after after a year not seeing any major league pitching. It's definitely going to take, you know, taking a little bit to get just unfortunate is able to come out and get some results in that first game and helped contribute to a win. And that was just such a special moment for for my family. And I just got to for the giant just to be a part of that was was really cool. So, but you know, the just to come in. And I'm sure that's going to be going to continue. But you know, I'm just gonna take the having somebody compete my backside off every day. And that's what that's what baseball is. It's a one one match. Between you and the pitcher at all times. And I love that Stephen talking about journeys and your journey just can comment on another player's journey. And this is this dominated our show this week. Is that MAC Williamson? I know what you're over in Oakland. He was he was having his ups and downs with the giants. You know, tantalizing right handed homegrown power. You know comes up goes back comes up because and then finally the concussion off the bullpen mound. And then the DFA right before the season started in his openness about how angry he was about the timing. And then having to come back to Sacramento, Nancy get back and hit the home or so, I don't know if you've fully because you were over in Oakland doing your thing. But this has been a long story for giants fans. And I just wondered your view given that you're really bright guy. You're good talker. And you you've gone through your own story. What could you share with us your view of MAC Williamson story, and you know, going into even this morning's game when he arrives in the clubhouse. Yeah. I personal. I'm a huge Michael Iverson fan. I have been from the days playing against them with when I was Bill Clinton just involves seemed like a great human. Obviously, you've got the ability of the power is there and just you know, he's he's good on defense too. So he's a good player in for anybody. That's gone through injury. The way he did especially a concussion where you don't really know what what the full ramifications are going to be of a concussion, you know, it could be a light one to a heavy one. And obviously was pretty severe. But you know, I getting paid right? Their last day of spring. You know, it's never it's never an easy spot to be. It's it's tough. And then you go through a time where you kinda get down on yourself because you are you're back in AAA, and you can really play some mind games. But you know, Matt came down at Sacramento and handled it like a true pro, you know, the disappointment or anger, or whatever he may have expressed. We did not see teammates and maks got. Pretty close over the last month down Chakra. Oh, I'm so happy that he's here. And we're both here in for him. Just that that comeback story that to to persevered through not only injury. But then getting fade going down and proving that you know, he belonged in the big leagues and proving that you know, he's he's too good to be in AAA. So for him to come back and have Chris came back. He did with the four RBI and just helping be the catalyst for the for the win the other night. I couldn't be more happy for him. More proud of him. And he's becoming a great team and great friend to me well to follow that up. And you've only been I guess with the big league club for about a week or so, but there's been a lot of rostrums even since you've gotten here. How's the clubhouse navigate that or deal with that either positively or negatively with guys coming in and out of the locker room? I think now in baseball it's becoming more and more than norm. You know? I think maybe haven't seen it ton from the giants perspective over the years. But kind of revolving door is kind of the way that baseball's working now, unfortunately, or fortunately, you're giving getting more guys an opportunity, but you know, I it's tough. It's tough to handle that because you're all constantly saying, hey, you know, goodbye to somebody. But then you're constantly excited for somebody when they get there. And it is it's kind of a merry go round or roller coaster of of just moves, and you're constantly saying hi to new people died in by other people and just encouraging people as they're going back down. Hey, this, isn't it? You'll be back. You know, go down there and tear it up you'll be back kind of thing. And but it's it's definitely becoming a little more of the norm that you're seeing, but it's never easy to watch somebody to get back to triple. That's for sure as a tough deal, and you're right. It's unusual for giants fans who'd had Sapien. Bobby Evans, kind of run the show. Differently. But for Huns as part of the new generation, and you experience it as you said over an Okinawan, Stephen, we appreciate you. You hop on. Listen, as we know as fans for you to wear both you join a select group that's played both for the as and the giants. Have you thought about that crew and gotten a list of those players like Willie McCovey did it right? Yeah. Yeah. No. I haven't really looked at a list too closely. But I will say this that it's it's been such a treat to in a pleasure to be giant even just for a week. And the history of you feel the history when you put on a uniform, you feel the history when you see the logo and even just these guys went out to the giants history that they've created and that they're the ones that did it, and it's it's really special and enter me being a for five years. It's really cool just being in the bay area and still, you know, you see a game the just as fans reaching out on social media and just congratulating you know, me on getting back to the big leagues. I think it's special to be in the bay area and joining that elite company that has played for both. It's truly an honor thinking about not just Willie McCovey vita blue giant in a right? How about your your teammate the shark some Arja? Yeah. Yeah. There's there's one more there Hundley now. Right. That's right. That's right on the other. Other side. There's a few years Billy north there and Louis it's kind of a fun fun deal. But especially now with the rivalry kinda ramped up, even more. So with the interleague play. So well, Stephen, listen as we said, everybody knew in Oakland, especially on a media perspective. You get it. You're always generous with your time. And and we enjoyed you in Scottsdale, we enjoy you coming on from snowy, Denver, Colorado. So put on those thermals are you catching today? Do you know or are you guys haven't heard yet? Or I don't know yet. We check. If they I mean, mostly just depends on what Boches with the lineup today. But I'm preparing to catch and we'll see what happens one of the quick one. And what if I told you to grab the first basements glove the taco or to go to left? What's your answer? Let's go. Let's go. I'm going to do my best. Let's get after it. Well, we look forward to saying. Hi, do you during the next homestand usually come out on day games in that Toronto game? What will come say? Hi at your locker and thanks for coming on the show. Oh, please. Do thanks for having me again areas. Stephen vote live from Colorado where it's snowing, but they might play baseball. I looked it up for you. By the way, you ask der Lewis plan for the twenty five games. You've got called up by the as in nineteen ninety that was it you called that. When he was part of the tree, then he was traded to the giants Google of ninety three or ninety Ernie Riley Darren Lewis, but not as a we were talking about golden glove. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But what's the look it up? And he came off the giants got him. In was what's bottom of his baseball reference pages? Say the transaction. I'm not going to break until we figure out how d. It wasn't the Ernie riles trade was it. Now that was wasn't the only rows trade. I got it. It was good got one after blowing the carousel and the sound of music and after blowing Gary park and market von. Yeah. As I got one, hey, you know, what copes? Listen, whether I blew a musical or whether I blew the Gary park will Clark f bomb. Yeah. And then I get one right with a Darren Lewis any rows trade four, you know, what it's called glass copes. You gotta take your shots. All right. There you go. That's my Bernie Sanders. Twenty sixteen games. People on the text line just goes to show you, ma'am. Just 'cause people in the text line way, overstated not an epic night. Now, multiple texters saying not an epic night at oracle. Okay. Say that's just a I got right here. A lot of crab, by the way. Yes. Dare Lewis and a player to be named later traded by the giants to the as vice versa traded by the giants inex- shit. Yes, Ernie riles was traded by the giants to the in exchange for Darren Lewis and a player to be named later who was Pedro pain. Yeah. Poem Pedro pain. Yeah. All right back to the giant back to the warriors on the other side. Thank you. Thank you very much. Yes. Eight away can't be ours. A phone number warrior fans lineup. Can they go the.

"So Ryan can you help us out with the soaring eagle casino resorts best bets? Here's what we did. Miami at Detroit. That was the heat against the pistons. What was the final score there? Ninety eight to ninety three. So I went below. Yes. You had the under, Dan. Okay. Okay. So man, I got my butt kicked on that one. So that was one another Zion Williamson against Virginia over under. I said over. Yeah. Dan said over I believe Dan said under. Oh, so I was to know their most passing yards by a quarterback. Who did I say you went with Brees? Then when Dan took drew Brees is well he switched to Patrick Mahomes. Okay. And we're both wrong both wrong. Right. All right. So that that would make two and one dam would be oh and three. Rams at the saints. You both took the Rams, okay? Okay. Was three and a half. And then New England Kansas City Casey was giving three. I forget who I took their Utah. Kansas city. Dan took New England. Right two, right. Dan, took the last two. I thought we both took the ribs. You said, yeah, I've got two point. I started. Oh, three ended two and three. And I ended what three and two. I was three Tuesday both seven and eight on the year. Man. We need Lee Serling this. Well, I if you're right around. Yeah, you're right. I mean, he he just does games. We do the well. No, he does the over under style. Pan. That's I thought I did better than that. That's disappointing to me. All right. So I went three to Dan went to and three soaring eagle casino resorts best bets and on the year. We're both game under five hundred look it's a long way to go a long way to go. All right. The the years just starting here. Let me get back to a few other things we had talked about we talked about dynasties. What about I didn't even mentioned the Steelers Steelers won four straight the Niners? My favorite player Joe Montana. I used to love Fran tarkenton Chuck form and the guys who the Vikings but Joe Montana. They won four Super Bowl titles in the nineteen hundred eighty one eighty four eighty nine then Steve Young and ninety four and from anyone to ninety four. They won ten division titles. They had the most wins of any NFL team to the eighties and nineties one hundred four hundred thirteen that's pretty damn good. All right. So you have to include them what about the reds one five National League titles western division title, four National League pennants in six years. The as when I was a kid with Jim catfish hunter. Vita blue Lamar Odom, gene Tenace Joe Rudi, Reggie Jackson. They won five straight American League division titles. They won the World Series three consecutive year. Seventy three seventy four that was a pretty good dynasty. You've got include the Yankees. Unfortunately, they've got more championships than any team in North American. I looked this up. And it said over two decades span USC baseball, the Trojans won ten national titles in twenty years. They won eleven national titles, including five straight and twenty eight conference championships under head coach rod doodo that is dominant. Now, I know people don't follow college baseball. That's still pretty damn good. John wooden and the UCLA Bruins. Of course. And how can you forget about what Nick Sabin has done recently with Alabama? Those are some of the other dynasties are they all better than the bulls. Probably not. But they're in that conversation. Okay. So you're talking about the as you said Lamar Odom, not oh blue note a blue moon. I'm sorry. John Oldham Israel. Yeah. Took us a backer Marone. Did he just say Lamar Odom out of Rhode Island? I don't think so got. Yeah. John blue moon. Odom was I was that guy. Catfish hunter fight a blue laser some really good players. Really good players on that team. Of course. I hated Bergkamp Harris because he through the ballot. Learn I think it was learned the grow. I think it was. Early seventies against the Tigers. Sal Bando was on that team. I think he played third base for campaign shortstop, gene Tenace was behind the dish. Billy north was on that team to as an outfielder only remember that because I had I had his his baseball card there. Let me see here show up. You asked who stood out this weekend? Other than the NFC refs on the take. I'd say the versatile playmaking ability of James white. Maybe the best pound for pound player in the league. That's from Nick. Wow. I don't think I've ever heard that. Nick were you were you not disappointed with Todd girlies performance? How about Sean McVay saying we're not getting what we need out of him. So we're going with CJ. I thought that was impressive and surprising. I don't what we're CJ Anderson's final numbers because I don't know. But they were they were moving the ball with him Todd Gurley had to really bad plays one led to a pick. And the other one was a clear drop. We'll get more into that. When we come back after the shower and shave on the Michigan media network and on Comcast throughout the state more from Matt Shepard show this morning, shower and shave on most of these huge radio network stations after this network T, oh, this.

"And that's what I'm asking is freehold in north or south. South because I think north starts at exit eleven on the turnpike at five been a delivery driver for a couple of weeks, and after I get north of exit eleven people start calling Taylor ham, and I turned right around because those people are a bunch, here's okay. Wait a minute. Wait a minute exit eleven on. Did you say the turnpike. Where the Parkway's. That's yeah. I was gonna say, that's yeah. That's way. So so you don't go by the one ninety five as north south. No, Margaret one ninety five is way. Too far. South south jersey is the spillover. Billy, north jersey is the skill over New York City. So you think New York City is spill spilling into freehold? Yes. Sort of. Right. Well, the wait a minute. You said freehold was south jersey. Pretty hold was. Oh now. Confusing. He's got so flustered drop the bad word there. All right. We appreciate it. Kyle Kyle as far as the logistics Kyle then exit eleven so the Driscoll bridge a lot of people use them. I've heard more people use Driscoll bridge if they're going to start this falsehood about a Central Jersey. I've never heard anybody used risk bridge to say that's where south jersey begins. That's the first. But I think it's interesting to point out that even either way that's still puts me from Raleigh in north jersey. Why is it so important because.

"He's a wild pitcher. He was trying to send a message. He was trying to knock them down and he failed. So the ball went a little out and it hit him and that's baseball. He's trying to this guy, hit three home runs back back to back games to lead off the game. That's you. Gotta get him off his feet. You gotta make them nervous. He missed he hit him. It's baseball. And that's coming from a former high school baseball coach for two respected local high schools though. How long did you coach total of five years? How much money do you think is here Alison? I thought you were gonna. I thought you were gonna ask me how much do baseball high school baseball coaches make. I was gonna say very little. Yeah, we'll there's four. Ziplock big bag of them open some of them. Now, you know, one spilled all over the floor. I think it's at least two hundred hundred dollars. I don't think there's two hundred dollars. Well, you have dollars in your to. Why do you have like actual cash. I don't know. It was just I I'm where did you where do you eat this and various places? Piggy Bank of this dog piggybanks that doggy Bank? Yeah, cute. What kind of dog is it? It's a bulldog. It's like a nice little dog. You're on the air Ritchie. Okay, good morning. Yes. Good morning. What do you wanna talk to you about, sir? Hey, Billy. What's the Marlins? Man? He's still wearing Marlins jersey. I don't know what's up with Marlins fan. I think that he is away from the Marlins. I don't think that they necessarily want him back. I don't know that for fact, but I don't think that they're big fans of his. And yeah, he still wears his Marlins jersey just to other teams games. And I saw that he's having like a giant homecoming that he's throwing for himself in a game against the nationals immoral, ans Parkinson's timber where he bought out like three sections of seats. So that's going to be a spectacle. He seemed to have adopted the Yankees this season early on. So I was at the I was at that. I like townhall thing that they're cheater did and he was there and that's where like he got into his famous like back and forth with cheater, and he claimed to be like a season ticket holder for the Yankees and the Mets, I believe. So he has season tickets for a couple of different teams. He just likes the Marlins. Can I go again? Yeah. Yeah. I am allowed Dominic Foxworth by the way is going to be doing the show nationally with Randy's about today. So we're getting close to that. Hello, you're on the air. Yes. Call my air. Yes, you're on the air. Go out. Oh, okay. Sorry, Billy. This is Billy. I'm calling North Carolina and I just wanted to which I love it today show. Thank you Billy. That's so great. I didn't plan that at all. Do you know any Billy's North Carolina guys? Did you see what happened? North Carolina? You see what happens to me near a phone. It's really like if I'm in a store and the phone rings, I want to answer it. It's a problem. Why? I don't know two seconds. Hello. You're on the air. Hello, you're on the air attention to the clock. Hey, you have eleven seconds. He hung up. Good call. Can you please stop? I will stop ringing people up on the air. What else did you want to talk about you wanted to talk about? I mean, we're not gonna get a chance to do the show again. So. And we talked about how you want to talk about pep talk about because so many things bother os. Oh..
