"Get acclimated to those conditions saying, like 10 Days, plus You. You can never. Ah! Not have enough water, but you gotta stay. Got to stay high rate. I got a lesson to your e I thank you very much for that. Thank you for calling. I have never heard its arm. Oh, Keenan, I will research. It sounds like something that the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers and those teams that at the very least, Are in cold weather climbs some playing domes like a men. So now they played a dumb They don't play outside him or buffalo still outside Green Bay. Still outside. Both games today were played in In Green Bay. They had flurries during the game, although they said it was only 35 degrees at kickoff. It was cold. We know that and I know for a fact it's cold in Buffalo tonight, and I hope that some of those bills mafia guys who are sitting in the stands shirt list have at least gotten some thermo D. N N. Into them before they attended tonight's game. Let me get dug from Florida appear Doug Europe on CBS Sports Radio. How are you, Buddy? Pretty good. How are you? Good. Thanks. How quickly things change. Three weeks ago, we were talking about how Doug Peterson might have been a genius for going for the tie. And here we are. He's out of a job. That's very true. And I remember having the conversation you shoot. I had a little a whole bunch of people in Philadelphia when he did it against Cincinnati back in week three or four or five. Whatever it was Um, I was surprised that the Eagles decided out of all the people to blame for their hideously bad season. Uh, not their quarterback. That day, general manager But the coach should pay for it with his job. I would have had him down on list of people responsible for the eagle stinking that here. Well, I agree with you second thing. Thinking back when you started 34 years ago. What's the wonder to sports stories that we're the first ones you remember recovery? Oh, uh, It was either my first year on the air. It might have been like six or seven months after I started, Um Billy Martin. Remember the name great manager Oakland A's New York Yankees fired several times by George Steinbrenner. Um Billy Martin hired fired, hired, fired, hired re fired. Um, he passed away in a fatal car accident when I was on the air. It happened to break the announcement that we lost Billy Martin while I was in the midst of doing a show. So you have to try and a gather yourself be able to relate stories that you may have about him being able to get people to gather to give you more information on him. So you can tell the whole tale and it's not an easy one. If you have an all time great who dies at age 85 natural causes. It's terrible. Whatever you lose anybody, but That you can understand that you can handle Billy's was a tragic car accident, so was certainly very difficult to deal with that night. And I had, although I just knew Billy in passing. My father was actually pretty good friends with him and my father used to tell like Billy, Look, this story that story really hit close to home. It certainly did more So for my father and I'll share with you real quickly because you sound like a good guy and I'll try and make this five minutes story into a two minute story. My father was The general manager of the Mets and Billy Martin was to general manager of the Yankees was the manager of the Yankees, and it just so happened. The Mets were flying into play San Francisco. Billy was flying out after the Yankees had finished a serious He might have been with Oakland time because he went back a point between Oakland and the Yankees a couple times, but he was flying out of the Bay Area airport, and they both happen to be in the airport at the same time, and my father was just coming in, and Billy was had a plane. Uh, delayed so it's not gonna kill some time. He spots my father walking in the, uh, airport kill back and you went out were you doing Are you in San Francisco? And he goes off when I start shooting the breeze because their bodies and Martin goes. Hey, let's go grab a beer. Well, you remember about Billy. He famously got suspended by the commissioner of baseball because he got into a bar fight, which Billy has been known to do he had done before. So as soon as Billy offers my father to go get a cocktail with him in the airport lounge. Red light goes over of my father's head. He goes Billy Billy. Okay, I'll have a drink with your butt, and he grabs him by the arm and he pulls him off and he finds a complimentary lounge. He's got an American Airlines comp card or whatever else and they have certain private areas where you go have a drink of your A V I P member. Whatever. My father just haven't have his card in his wallet. So you whipped it out. Got him inside. How to casual cocktail with Billy. Just he and Billy alone in a room. And in Billy's plane was taking off, so he had to get up and leave. But my father said he might not have ever been able to continue in baseball if he'd gone into that bar with Billy and something had broken out. So I got to tell that story that night, which I I hope put a smile on a couple of Yankee fans faces that night because I was on in New York when Billy Martin passed away. All right. Great story, Jodie Mack, keep up the good work Another 34 years. I'm playing until they kick me out. I'm going nowhere fast. Now that I'm doing it from home, Doug. Thank you. I might commute was theologian steps down to my man cave today. I've got my big screen TV on here watching the Ravens lamely attempt to get back into this game against the Buffalo bills. It looks like build Mafia's gonna get what they want, which is not only to make the playoffs and win a playoff game last week, but now an advancement to an A F C championship game. If the Cleveland Browns can pull the upset tomorrow Bills Mafia will get a chance to flex their muscles up in northern New York. Next week because they would get home field advantage after chiefs are victorious. The Buffalo needs to head out to Casey and take it on the road, but.

"The White Sox. He has not managed since 2011. What's your initial thoughts there? Well, I'm happy for him. I'm not surprised because this was rumored to be and I am happy for him shot him a text. Obviously, he's not gonna respond. But Tony managed, you know, 10 seasons ago when we go into the 21 year, he was 66 years of age. I mean, there have been older managers. Johnny Mack was older buddy on the chain, Jack McKeen did pretty well. But Tony would be the third oldest manager. In the history of baseball, and but I think he's contemporary enough to be able to relate to the players. He's just is brilliant. I I love Tony LaRussa. Of all the baseball managers that I've been around boats was a special guy. Tony is just a cut above everybody. Just he's a lawyer, and he thought the game that way and he changed the game. The way he used Dennis Eckersley and the way he had Gene Nelson and Rick County cut and I could go on and on putting power and Dave Henderson in the number two hold the batting order behind Ricky. They have that kind of power. Back to back. I think he's a brilliant Game prepared there. There are some moments is a game manager. That I would have vowed to Billy Martin over Tony. But Tony was Just so extraordinary. His team was so well prepared to play every single day. You got to read the book that was written years ago when he was the manager of the Cardinals three nights in August, and it takes you deep in the mind. A brilliant analytical, you know, scholarly lawyerly mind of Tony LaRussa and how he saw the game I used to do when I first started doing the age of 1990. On sporting called Sports Channel Way Back then we had, like a 15 minute pre game or something. Where I got that interview Charlie before every broadcast, and I would ask him the most. Kind of like Kyle Shanahan or don Nelson. Or just a great mind that thinks out of the box the most detailed questions about where he would stand in the dugout, he stood in a different place. When they age we're hitting versus when the A's were in the field, and he had elaborate answer for it. I mean, it's everything he does is just not happenstance. It's brilliant mind well prepared, thought out. The one thing that comes to mind right away. Is he going to manage in the American League, which means he's going to come back to Oakland and manage against the ace when they left and went to the Cardinals. He was in the other league is, he said with Mac And he came back for a spring training game. When I first even knew Albert Pools was when he was telling me about a wiseguy Albert Pools is pretty good. I don't know what to do with him. Scent of the Hall of Fame, and Tony found a place to play and I think in the outfield initially, but, you know, have him come back and manage against the A's with the White Sox and this is a White Sox team. Renteria. Got them into the wild card game, and they kind of slid at the end. And So they're a good team, so that's going to be a little spicy. This was a great rivalry going back years ago, when stew was here and black Jack McDowell. They didn't like the White Sox when the White Sox were in the American League West, so You're not going to see him a lot. They're not the same division. But still, it adds a degree of spice with Tony against the A's. And then we are gonna have Peter Guber joining us to 12 30, of course, Peter's part of one of the Warriors in a part owner of the L. A Dodgers. The only two men that have owned an MBA championship team and A major league baseball champion is Jerry Reinsdorf and Peter And it's because of Jerry Reinsdorf that this is happening, obviously, is the same owner. And Jerry was the owner when they fired Tony And Tony's first managerial jobs with the White Sox on the south side of the late seventies. That famous winning ugly team and an 83 that hawk Harrelson came in the great broadcaster. Put it on the board. I'm gonna fire Tony. Any fire Tony and Rice store if he could have stopped it. Buddy T Let it go. And I think hey, did admit it was a mistake. Blamed it on hawk. But they've been talking to him for a long time, right after Renteria went out to the age of the wild card game, so we're not surprised the main thing. Is The game has changed a lot since we Since Tony last managed and we talked about it incessantly, you know, with Kevin Cashen what the Tampa Bay Front office did and the Giants front office is very different. You know, Billy and Sandy kind of started it and say, you know, Tony didn't fit in anymore when Sandy went to that world. On base percentage. You know, Tony was more you know the great stars and just the way managed men, But these were much younger guys. I've reached out to people in baseball right away. I like it because I know who Tony is. But how were the White Sox going to run their front office? Now? How is Tony gonna fit in that the modern day? First of all, what's he making? How many managers make as much as Tony. I guess Joe Mad makes pretty good money, but they're not paying guys like they used to. So what is Ryan's door paying, Tony? Well, Tony, after answer to Ah, to a guy with a slide rule. And you know they're gonna give us here. Mr LaRussa. Here's your lineup tonight. That's not happening. So how is he gonna is that this is this Maura ofhe. A concession to go back to the way it used to be where you have a strong manager like Tony LaRussa running this team and running this organization. And then you know he is older John, and they got a young team in Chicago. And I know he looks young and he's in good shape. But he is 76. So I think he can relate. But you know, I'm older now. So I get his jokes in his references, but Will the 21 year olds of the world get it, So I don't know. I think it's fascinating and I can't wait to observe it. And I love the guy, so I he loves doing this. He loves managing baseball, so he's he's backto to doing what he was born to do. Well, you hit on everything. I mean, he's 76 years old. The first thing is is is everybody looks at the White Sox is their young team analytics in the game. I know this. He wouldn't pull Blakes now. And then, like you said, the pay, you know, they just they just don't pay guys anymore. But there are exceptions to the rule, too. And if the White Sox who said that he was their number one choice all along, said We want Tony the Russo than you know, they're probably paying him. A pretty decent salary, although I know Couple years ago, when both he left. He was the highest paid manager in baseball. At what? Six million bucks? What? Joe Maddon get Teo man. I mean, look at what he got. He's an expensive guys. Showman. Yeah, let me see what he's but who else so majestic Cheeto Francona in Cleveland. Makes I would think a good salary. But that whole breed is, you know, socials gone often. I mean, now, I mean the G M's making five times. What the Field managers were saying matins only is on a 3 15. I mean, there's 15. That's five million a year. That's a lot five million's a lot. There's a lot of money. So what do you think Gabe Kapler makes he got 15 for 15. Probably him. Is he making a million a year thinking? You know they're not there anymore, So I don't think so. No, I'm fascinated by it. I think it's interesting. I just like you said that. You know the reference points, whatever..

"Okay. Let's go back to the phones we have Cobb oin Windsor. Returns of the call. Hey cowboy. Hey, right. Hey, do you think Jim Maloney through harder than anybody today? He threw hard. Boy. I don't know if he doesn't what concerns me today as people believe these guns. They've got guys one hundred miles an hour really throwing ninety three ninety four some fatal baloney from been hundred. We don't have the guns back then. So you can't really you. Remember when he lost that one enough they s gave a nineteen sixty five and Johnny Lewis died last July twenty nine fire which hit ten home or to win that game. Lewis said he didn't even see the ball was a hard thrower Steve barber back then was a hard thrower. Oh, I know. Well, that that the fifty second diversity of that game is coming up on good. When he and and and Stu Miller, they the no hitter against the Tigers the house the house. Remember, though, I remember, oh, I remember that I think that I think Willie Horton would have been injured all year he made his debut bag is a second. Double header. I don't remember that if he did or not. But and I know that Maloney pitched a no hitter against the Astros, April thirtieth sixty s sixty nine and the next day will the Astros pitched a no hitter against the red. And that's only happened. One other time, I think in baseball history has happened the year before remember Gaylord, Perry Mason, the no hitter against Bob Gibson. And then the next day Ray, burn of the cardinal fishing. No hitter against the giants. It was right at the near the end of the sixty eight season, and we all know it gives sixteen World Series. Oh, yeah. We all know what he did do. Plane and Gibson one in a one to a and and McLean had a one point nine one. But McLean, one thirty one games. But the way didn't didn't have a sore arm during the sixty eight World Series and he had to take a core zone shots for game six when they won that thirteen to one game. He may have because he told me a lot of cortisone shots. Oh, I know that white didn't win toy. He who he twenty four and nine and sixty nine I understand that they wouldn't let him pitch the final game against was his starts. But after living good prohibit him. Prohibited. Him from pitching that game because he couldn't raise his arm. I was the right thing to do. Yeah. And then of course, the next season was kind of you know. Oh, by the way, where you friends with Pete wall buyer. Yeah. He's still around he still alive. Yeah. Oh, ninety take a look at people Meyer. I tried to call him on the he claims that he got me the job at W XYZ putting recommendation for me. Already sealed a deal before. He did. I didn't tell them that. But he used to go to the Roma cafe and see him in there. He's councilman in Grosse Pointe up. He while my senior I'm talking about. Sports writer. Yeah. He's got to be about ninety. When you got there. I'm looking for it gives age. Yeah. Found the name, right or. Yeah. You did groups point. Yeah. Peter walmart. Yeah. Well, you know, maybe not because he's in Grosse Pointe. Yeah. You would have been up there on top of that Pete wealth. My birthdays own nineteen thirty one eighty seven or eighty eight. Yeah. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Would have been eighty and may second which as I said was the day. Luke air finally came on the line if again in brick stadium. You know would have been eighty that. They don't you. I don't know eighth Brown. Oh gates would get something to eat a little bit of age to love case gates might have been more than I have. You had him on your show. Years ago. I did you're right. Yeah. And I think gates with a little bit older than he claimed we always jail on in jail. I know. Yeah. Yeah. Heard us a couple quite I know he was in Chris. We was in Ohio. I know that is in Mansfield reformatory. Yeah. I know. Yeah. And I remember when the when the Billy Martin one. The Tigers assign Ron leflore flirt hesitant in Barton said was you didn't get gates Brown on a Sunday school. You know? Sunny school. Okay. Cowboy. Before before it goes Brown, either have a heart attack or at trouble had any a couple of amputated them tolls or something, I know he had diabetes for us to a heart attack to that. I don't think I'm not sure there. But I know who had his leg did is Ron leflore or on the floor. I know yet like amputated, I know. Yeah. Okay. Okay. I'll talk tomorrow. Thank ryan. And Alex, Alex is not here. Thank you. Anyway. Asking. Rich and New York. Hey, rich. Hi, Bonnie baby tiger scheduled for next week. I do somewhere. But. Look it up for me. I got it here somewhere. "Swift was on the road for three hundred sixty five days, basically performing. She was traveling terrible. I don't know how you do that. I don't know. I really don't know. How you do that? I would go fucking crazy go crazy crazy. But also, you can see why people lean in towards supplements or PD's, especially in baseball hockey football that I mean tell you. So he's sixteen games. They get easy. But like the rest of the sports like or actors and comedians out on the road. I'm like, dude, I get it. When I was in Calgary, whatever nine ninety fucking shows. But then of that last one, I was losing my voice. I'm like, dude. It's someone had cocaine right now out snort all that up. Just to go ahead this ground it nineteen hundred the Yankees Mickey Mantle Whitey Bolger. Billy Martin they used to party at the Copacabana all night long have to be up for. One o'clock game. Maybe a double header there were doing Greenies. They were doing everything you got to somehow make you have a problem with it. That I do either the MLB realized about in the nineties that could they have those people who study everything they fund guys who weighed less than one sixty five first of all you don't hit as far. But also, the the other main reason was that they wanted bigger guys because they broke down for whatever reason when your body is a certain size like one sixty five one seventy and you're doing that over number. They didn't hold up as well. As the guys who had who are natural two hundred ten the fucking baseball monsters that they created steroids. Yeah. Getting out here. Mcgwire and Sammy Sosa was so fun, and they needed it. They needed it because the players strikes ninety four everybody thought that baseball would never rebound popularity and they needed these baseball monsters smacking balls to Guantanamo Bay. Like now now, they just they blackball those guys gave birth to now. I know it's listen baseball's like everything else in America. And in politics, it's the WWE now. Okay. So the storyline in two thousand thirteen was bud. C-league is getting ready to the Commissioner. Baseball's getting ready to retire. He is the steroid Commissioner, okay? Everybody knows it he knowingly exploited in profited from these monsters like these these dudes who literally we more for them in the movie from like their original body weight when they were rookies to to the wait until I can Saco and Mark McGuire. And you know, so so it's ridiculous. So everybody knew what was happening. Nobody cared. It was good. It was good television. So baseball they needed Alex to be the he'll that's that was the story line that made sense. Sealey goes to a second command. Rob Manfred says the scandal broke, please look like make it look like I did something about this documentary. Yeah. And so what scalp could be bigger than the highest paid baseball player of all time dreams. So they went after Alex Rodriguez both sides spent millions of dollars broke laws. Okay. Went head to head in. This battle of the legacies of bud C-league versus Alex Rodriguez. They bust them yet. They reduced his his suspension, but it was still like the longest in history. It was an entire season. By the time, the smoke cleared, and then Seelig retires goes off into the sunset. Rob manfred. A second in command who ran this whole ridiculous Boston Vesta Gatien, which includes quintessential Florida, fuck ary. He becomes the Commissioner of major league baseball. And he goes, okay. What's the story line? Now, if you're Vince McMahon, you know, the best story line is when the he'll becomes the hero. So now, what is he brings in for crying out loud? Not only a rod, but Charlie hustle..

"Larry Nyerere both gigantic fans of the NFL. He's. What would they call it the official title of the and they do the features on the guy when they call it on the NFL, it's thirty for thirty on ESPN and fall life and major league baseball turning them out to and I had did you see the Billy Martin one? Oh, yeah. I haven't seen it until this weekend. I'll tell you the one that you have to see that is just it's awesome is Ken hawk herald. Yet, you know, some I saw half of it. I saw the second half. I didn't like it. Yeah. I didn't realize the hawk Harrelson was such an incredible hand eye coordination athlete. I mean, we talked about guys like Steph curry like he's the greatest hand eye coordination athlete ever hall Carrollton played in the big leagues hit thirty bombs in the big leagues. Drove in one hundred runs in the big leagues and qualified to play at the British Open. Yes that he was a great golfer. And he was like. That's ford. Joe nemeth? I believe you know, what I mean. He was the flashy wearing the scarves around his neck, and all I just saw the second half of it. But but it's got a local tie with with Billy Martin. I of course, it's very sad. You know became an alcoholic, but they had his wife on. I mean, no wife when she says when she looks at the camera and said that when Billy got the job with New York that she knew their marriage was over. Yeah. Yeah. House pretty powerful stuff. Right. She was such a fun fun loving woman. And yeah, you know, we tend to I'll mitt I didn't think of all the teams that he managed. He never managed one team for over three years that he gets back anyway, three reading a lot of people whose Billy Martin the greatest managers of all time exactly, which is brilliant. But he had the demons, and and he was with Whitey Ford Mickey Mantle and and Martin were hanging out at the COPA Cabana all the time and somebody with doing racist stuff against Sammy Davis junior. And he got in there and the guy ended up in Kansas City. But here's the way got me. And what's the nice guy the equipment manager who still they're terrific for as the bits Hoosen? It's great loosen it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'd see Steve every ten years, but great guy been they're telling the story about how Billy Martin have a wife in each in two cities. He had you know till one. I'm. Committed to you. She was in Anaheim. And then the other I guess he was staying Oakland. So he had a road wife and a home life, and he had the road wife did a lot of talking in this thing. She was laughing today is a real charming fun loving wife and the road wife ended up marrying him and his wife when when he passed away, but just how some people prefer the road. Yeah. And that you hear the one about the toes and that the one now the home wife or maybe it was the road wipe. But but one of the wife would slip notes to him throw her toes. She would sit in the front row and slip the notes and that supposedly was one of the reasons that the as management was young eisenhart, then ROY eisenhart they said, we gotta do something. He was slipping. Love notes to him. Martin would be in the corner of the dugout he'd reach up and grab the notes and then Martin was saying, no, no, no. And then they had three writers Henry, hacked and two other guys. I never heard of going. You know, that's what did Martin in fifty thousand fans saw that happening during a playoff game and Martin denied it. And then that was the end that they only ball those hot. It was hot eighties. Ricky made rich. Away. Right. They were playing all, you know, all kinds of fun baseball. And they really he really put energy back into the Coliseum and young and young people that just you can't relate to it. Because now everything is pretty much push button. Right. I mean, these managers are taking orders from from the general manager pretty much and Steinbrenner he told the story by and then we'll get off your thoughts. Fascinating. What a different deal. It was is it Reggie Jackson. Just for an ego thing he wanted to he hit him fifth for awhile. And Reggie Jackson said no I want to get four settlement of World Series game. Exactly. He sat Reggie Jackson sat him in the fifth game of playoff to is the one. I remember against Kansas City. Yeah. Yeah. And then he came in in those days you played three out of five in in certain playoffs. But this is the one that got me Panella and Greg nettles are up in Steinbrenner's office. And they're saying if this jackass fourth to make him happy, so. Martin's banging on the door because he heard they were up there. And they hid in the vac raid in the bathroom the bathroom. Now, you can you imagine Farhan talking to somebody in some arches in the bathroom doesn't happen anymore. But those were the days when when people were able to I don't want to say freely express themselves, but it was just a different. But I think the money is changed Bronx, the Bronx zoo that was some, you know, some more entertaining times in baseball right here. But anyway. Between that one the AC. Yeah, it's great. Jack is unbelievable. Saw right guy. I saw at first yet. Saqer sleep like my favorite guy of all time. And I mean, this guy I loved the healthy perspective of act where he's like, you know, what he went back to Dodger Stadium when they honoured Gibson. Yeah. For hitting the eight Jack off him, and he went back in and was totally nice about it was like, you know, telling everybody spinning yarns, and this and that, and he just and he said, you know, what I wouldn't trade. I wouldn't trade the career. I had to not be in that moment. I mean, he was a great moment in baseball history. Even though he was one that made him the goat, you know, for the moment right there. And I'm not talking with the greatest of all time either. You know? So I mean, but he had that perspective of you know, what's so be it. And I just and then the how how incredible you know, the way he treated Rick manning who stole his. That's the one that's on. Fetterman betterman than many of us. I just that. One was incredible. The Buster Douglas was incredible. The thirty for thirty on Buster Douglas, and if you haven't seen hawk Harrelson. I mean, it's great. It's on that guy's life. Was you know, right there were Ted Williams? So one of the greatest sport slides in America Kazan, again, it's all generational the younger guy you listen to White Sox game. And how many times is Tim or one of the young producers played that where he gone, or are they I kind of you laugh at it. You know, and you think that same with Bill. What do you think all this guy is is a is a jokester? But this these guys all had back. I'll give you one more on Martin. I just do you. Remember this why he lost his job in Texas? He was getting into the country western thing. He demanded that his thank God the John Denver country. Boy played over the over the over the great instead of. Banner said of the stars. No. Instead of the take me out to the ball out to the ball game. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And the owner was like hell, no. I wanna take me out to the ball game and Billy's like hell, no I thank God. I'm a country. Boy, John guy. He told the guy the poor kid who plays the music. Martin was the last guy you play that. Or I'm going to beat the hell out of here. Whatever they is. Right. And so the kid played it and Martin was gone right there. I mean, just just some good stuff. Hey, anyway, that's fun. If you flip around, and I'm telling you, especially sports fans, always think about is what happened today. But you see how a guy became great. And there's a tendency to just think. Okay. Well, not so hot. I'm you know, I've been watching him manager watching him play. But you see what these guys were and what they become. And if you just a little different perspective. First baseman of the day is going to be joining us today, destroyed on memory lane names. Don. Mattingly is the manager of the Miami Marlins, but yeah, and also whose last name is the middle name of my daughter. 'cause Don Mattingly is my favorite player of all time. That's correct. My daughter's middle name is Mattingly. So he's I up Tom Verduci second up when we come back some crazy place for major league baseball last night with some onery like twists of fate at the end. "You are essentially managing a group of personalities that's probably the most important thing to be honest with you is just like any job the the bosses managing a group of personalities in the management middle management because you have to report to the gm whose reporting to the owner and your both managing up and managing down managing up to the gm and the owner managing down to the players but with a group of guys who are together that much hundred and six two games traveling that much there's a lot of ego massaging the do a lot of you know all that stuff so i think that's probably the most important job the the next thing is developing and managing within the game so of course player developments part of it but there's a whole staff that within the game there are a handful of high leverage situations that are actually dictating wins and losses that a managers responsible for throughout the course of the season so whether was callaway or whether it was billy martin the problems that you're talking about or going to be problems for the mets regardless of who whose managing the team and that's my concern is that the app and with klay guy that when domecq did have those guys the whole talk last year that those guys weren't even good enough they have to up week from those i not only haven't they acquitted from those guys they happen even replaced and so i'm looking at this team at a sixty five seventy went team in a bestcase scenario because they have so many old you a first baseman that than under twenty two you don't have a second baseman you have an ageing third baseman you have a shortstop that's project alpha 300 onbase percentage is here you've no center field so they have a tremendous amount of holes and they only have two good pitchers this year and we don't even know how synagogue it's going to pitch based off the injury yet we don't know how much steps can affect them i can see synagogue are having a forty already this year because of his lack issue with the it so there are so many holes and we're sitting here and all teams are getting better even the phillies have gone and a lot better in the mets haven't made one move so i feel like if people have to.
