Britney Spears Criticizes 'Hypocritical' Documentaries About Her Life
"Britney spears posted a ninety second ash real to her instagram account. Yesterday you know. I just hope years as well. I think we both fear that she is not. But i have been a lot of chatter about britney as a result of the various cases that are going on and also about her conservatorship and then of course the new york times hulu special. This was sort of her post to respond to all of that and it is a basically her dancing. I have some questions about the various room. She's in jim directly addresses the fact that there are these documentaries that are you know. There's supposedly kind of rewriting the story on her trying to explain how she was like unfairly. Covered in sexual is at a young age. But they're still affecting her And she also calls out. Someone named billy be who. I didn't know who that was and i had to ask you. I was like billy bush because she says i don't actually talk to billy be at all so honestly very confused. I still don't completely understand that. But i don't know britney spears's instagram remains very very confounding an endo worthy. I can explain the billy beefing briefly which i also had see research on. But it's a former makeup artist of hers who i believe sometime earlier. This year told i believe page. Six that britney spears resolve is not responsible for the written content on her instagram. Because since the new york times hulu special there has been a lo- a lot of focus on her instagram and within that special they feed or some people who a give a lot of focus to her instagram. Even before it that i would say it was not my favorite part of that documentary. Yeah but she's been making certain elliptical references to the documentary and who speaks for her and who doesn't on instagram and this is the most direct and longest

Tyra Banks angers 'Dancing With the Stars' audience with error
"Tyra banks had a meltdown backstage at. With the stars. So on Monday there was a mishap and to to people that should be in the bottom up for elimination were not the right to people live on TV tyra cold at the wrong names it got very confusing because there were alive she had to ad Lib it was a little awkward although I think she did a pretty much A. A good job fans were upset on social media tire went onto blame the control room and she also blamed her cue odds for the little bit of that upset that Miss Hab eventually she apologized once again saying it was live. TV show us that a little bit as an excuse. I, don't mind this stuff. I think it makes it more exciting however. TYRA, she was not laughing sources. Tell me at the sto show when she got backstage she was furious very angry. She wasn't mean and nasty. She wasn't throwing things but she's the boss, she not just the host she's the executive producer. This is her show. It is embarrassing. It happened on her watch. Let's be honest. She's a new host. This has never happened before. So now a lot of people are saying, maybe it's tyrod that should get eliminated where are you on this on a? So I get, it is embarrassing. It is a little awkward but as someone who's been a producer and a host, I'm just GONNA. Let ever no right now you're not making any friends in the control room by blaming them. Yes. Producers Make Mistakes I've made mistakes but we've also made you shine so many times without the thank yous and without everything then the one time something goes wrong you go out there and make sure it's known that we messed up. Amazon Music Options for Alexa
"If you've been following along you know that over the last couple of days. I was speaking about the different types of Amazon Music. Offerings and how it is now possible to listen to free music on. Lexi while I want to clarify this a little bit and in fact I received an email from a PR person at Amazon who wanted to clarify a few things. And I do appreciate very much. I want to clarify with you. So here is what is the actual information about the different types of music offerings. That are available through Amazon and how you can access them on Lexi. First of all there is an Amazon Music Free Tier. This is the new on. That was just announced last week and it is a service that customers can enjoy without any cost at all. There is no duration limit. And they don't need to do anything to set it up. It is by default with Lexi it offers music for free with ADS. You don't get specific access to specific songs but you can request certain music stations. And so I'll give you some examples you can say. I want to listen to pop culture or country heat or rap rotation or Canada. Now where you can say play Billy Bush play music play music and you will hear music stations that play that music but you can't necessarily specify the particular songs okay. So that's Amazon Music Free Tier then. There is the Amazon music free trial and this is a different experience. This is the free version of Amazon Music. Unlimited and you can test this for a limited time currently. It's three months for free. If you WANNA keep using that afterwards then you pay for the service. There are no ads and the customers can request specific songs and that was launched in September twenty eighteen and then there is prime music. This is what is included in the membership. If you are a prime member so in Canada prime members can stream over one million songs for free including hundreds of playlist and stations and so on. That's Ad Free on demand and that comes with your prime subscription so I hope that helps to clarify some of the services. There are a lot of options there. I think it's great that there's a lot of options. Don't be overwhelmed by the option. Sometimes when there's a lot of options it can be difficult to know which one to go with but obviously the free tier is there for you to use. Enjoy right off the bat if you want more control and you want to be able to specify certain songs than you either. GonNa have your prime music with your prime subscription or you're going to be subscribing to Amazon music unlimited but again. There is a three month free trial
Facebook's surprise hit Oculus Quest is sold out
"Offer just for talking tech listeners. So today we are at facebook in Menlo Park One hathaway and Sean and make with me they are Vr and our folks here that they oversee the oculus platform which turned out to be a big surprise smash hit at the holidays so popular. You can't get it. It's sold out for weeks but sean working hard. What MESSAGE DO YOU HAVE FOR FOLKS? Who are itching to get that headset on their head while we are making them as fast as possible also. Please stay tuned. Thanks all community for being really excited about this. We have been really a thrilled and really grateful for all the response Believe that it's about a four week. Will YOU'RE SAYING MARCH? That's right that's right. We are aiming for right now in March but We're still trying to work as fast as possible and trying to see actually how the Asia side with the current virus might or might not impact things. Let's talk about why it hits such a chord. Because you've got a a headset that did not have to be connected to anything. It sold for four hundred dollars and something happened to people that made them. I've got to get this thing. What happened yeah? It was really this coming together of a lot of things. So we've taken a lot of learnings from our previous. Headsets really tried to focus on this amazing sense of immersion content. And bring that to a new form factor. The second thing was really trying out all in one and we did this with actually our previous headset. Oculus go which is more focused on media but this was bringing a lot of the gaming side of rift combining that with the standalone form factor of Oculus go and then really trying to nail a great price point for consumers and I think all that came together in a really magical product oculus quest. We're proud of okay and games too. Because they going overseas the Games. Was there something new about the? Games in two thousand nineteen that that struck a chord or was it just the fact that you've got more well. It's both that we have more fantastic games coming to the platform but as you pointed out this is an untethered experience where you really can use that full range of motion to take advantage of these immersive games. And so you look at one of our top games on the platform beat sabre where you are effectively dancing and moving through the space to score points as these music blocks run towards you if you can turn three sixty degrees and you don't have to worry about a cord that becomes truly immersive and delightful experience. Megan your your vision is to start with games but really move into other categories. So explain how. Vr works in other media. There are so many use cases for VR. And we're so glad that the game category is strong and we can start with that but people who play games want to experience other things as well. So we're also investing in a lot of areas around media and around productivity and enterprise and one of the really exciting APPs that came out last year was National Geographic. Brought a new experience to go explore Macho Peach you and that's the type of content. Where someone who comes in for? Games is still gonNA love that and someone who wants to find those new use cases around travel or exploration. They're going to find something as well so explain how. How does it work? What are they seeing How do we explore Machu Pichu On a headset well once you put that headset on. You really do feel like you're transported to that location but you get the added layer of having information about what you're seeing you can learn in real time as you explore that space you can move through it but also see notes from famous scientists and explorers that help you understand that experience there so if you WanNa go travel there in real life which many people want to go do you have that. Added Layer of understanding. And if you can't make it there you still get a taste of what being in a place like that. Feels like. It's also talk about music. Because you're you're exploring concerts and make an jeff can go attend billy. Bush or some other concert together in the front row inexperienced together. Tell everybody about that. That's right. We have a product called oculus venues. That shows concerts sports comedy events from all around the world. People can represent themselves as avatars put on the headset. And then see each other in real time and jump in and watch those events so as you said we had billy eyelashes a performer in venues last year and it was really a special experience for people who hadn't seen her live to feel like they were there for the show with their friends but from the comfort of their own home five each other and do a letter. Well you can. You can wave. You can engage in. It is really special to feel like you're sharing that with other people in the space and back to Sean. Your vision is to wear a headset today. Where is it five years now? Yeah we ultimately want to get to a pair of glasses that lightweight. That's small form factor. You can wear your head
Breaking Down the Grammys
"Let's talk about the actual grammy winners Starting with Billy Bush. Yeah who swept all all of the big four categories which is best new artist Song of the year record of the year and album of the year. And it's not for nothing but she's she's the first female artist to ever sweep those four categories. The last time anyone ever did it with Christopher Cross x eighty one for you stat nerds is out there. also also could no guaranteed track record for long-term. It was a strange evening because going into the awards. A really really looked like lizards had the potential to have a huge sweep thing. She led the nominations for the entire year. Little Nasdaq's and Billy I. I wish weren't that far behind her. But in the end Liz only got a couple of the awards and then the ceremony went on and on and on for hours hours and then in the last few minutes billy I took off for the top SPA. Yeah it it did at as you said. Liz Won the first award. In in the telecast for best pop solo performance of for Truth Hearts beating among others billy Bush and earlier in the day Luisa won best traditional rb performance performance and best urban contemporary album. So they gave out a nine awards over. The course of the telecast four went to one went to lose oh the others went to to Dj Callard featuring nipsy Russell and John Legend won for best rap. Sung performance Dan Shea Won. Best Country Duo group performance. A little Nasdaq's exp featuring billy ray Cyrus won. Best Pop duo group performance and tyler. The Creator won best rap album for eager. Yeah and the funny thing thing is that tyler seemed really ambivalent about winning for best rap album to the seemed to indicate that he thought it would be much more comfortable in Dan. Hi Pop music category and that kind of caused back to this real struggle. The Grammy's has had with black music and traditionally Sean you black forms and black artists that there's been a lot of criticism that they subvert those artists into the side categories. Gorey's that are have a big. You know a big box around them saying that you're black then you belong here and that sort of this tonight. What kind of calls back to that in a really uncomfortable way you know if you think a few years ago about beyond say and Adele and you think about Kendrick Hendrick and you think about all these artists who have not quite gotten the shine that people might have expected? It may feel maybe not tyler's album women in particular but It's her raises a lot of those same questions and this is exactly the kind of stuff that the grammys are struggling with. When it comes to inclusivity and diversity this is a fine time for us to talk about performances and moments that we liked and didn't like what were some of your highlights? I have to say there were some really really on point performances tonight lizotte. Starting out was incredible degree. She brought everything tonight. I liked billy. We can talk about that. Maybe that wasn't such a thing. I thought that Rosalia did a great job of introducing who so she is and what she's all about this evening.

I'll go over well it's funny how the man in his case was in charge of the funny how it's the mother not the husband yeah I was he was not involved. David I mean I'm surprised she did have conversations about what she was doing to try to get the kids in college you know maybe was a traditional household and some kind of ways interesting all right what do you make of the latest twists and turns in the Harvey Weinstein trial that this accuser turns out that she sends him some affectionate messages after she claims he raped her I find it interesting that at the same time I read that story in the post there was a story in the times about the book about Harvey where it pointed out that his huge ecosystem of lawyers and publicists do things like that they send the page six and they send the columns items to trash the subjects so it's not surprising so the idea that paid six quote obtained these documents you and I both know how this works somebody in Harvey's team gave them the documents wrapped in a bow and well built with a couple of cupcakes on top yeah but as long as the information checks out it doesn't really matter where it's coming from but it doesn't look good for this what it also does it matter what happens in the press right what happens is what's going to happen in the courtroom right that's what's going to matter right I think one of the stories and the reviews of this book that came out of the two times reporters who brought the store two years ago is the level of hypocrisy and kind of double dealing around them what Harvey did is absolutely. appalling and looks like it's criminal but when you have people like Gloria Allred and her daughter Lisa bloom when you read the accounts of how they were behaving in kind of like playing both sides of the fence particular Lisa bloom where she you know work for hobby for a while there and how she was willing to to you know help trash rose McGowan and painter is being crazy I know with hindsight it's all very easy to kind of point the finger but some of the paper just seems reprehensible in the moment yeah absolutely no you tell Harbi over the years and he he was an amazing manipulator of the press I thought because he doled out all the goodies to us okay Sir could you tell your story so sure I was the editor of people magazine and he had a movie coming out I can't read what movie it was in the press it was in it and he started calling me incessantly as he does calling messaging calling messaging it wasn't hostile but it was aggressive I could feel his hot breath on my neck and I finally got a number of women apparently did exactly how funny on the phone with them and he said he wanted to cover and I said you get me Brad Pitt and I'll give you a cover based bread pitiful I wanted I don't care about hobbies moving heart beating care about my bread that he wanted to mention it is moving to cover he got Brad Pitt to participate in an interview I give the cover he W. one I got what I wanted so he can make things happen I mean obviously there was nothing you know the fair yes or we're going on but he was a relentless character and I would seem at various events as you did could be very charming he could be very I've been a restaurant and when you come I think when he finally stopped smoking I mean there was a time when he was probably another seventy five pounds heavier than he is now right he was really a monster he had actually seem to be calming down or at least ostensibly when he was out in public right he wasn't demanding he wasn't smoking at a table with this was to be smoking and things like that but I guess that was just a smokes well his big rival in Hollywood was said the producer Scott Rudin when hardy gave up smoking Scott said in a box of cigars. Kitty contributes to ABC on entertainment is the former editor in chief of people magazine story I'm fascinated by is the fact of the Opry union is going to conduct an independent investigation of possible the bingo because they don't trust the opera companies to do the right thing. this whole Placido stories really interesting right when it came out it did really get the attention that other similar stories in other industries god apparently he's been getting standing ovations when you and your eyes yeah yeah exactly so people don't seem to be taking it seriously I think the union is kind of have to do this right I think they know they know look they know the internal bias he's of these organizations and they know they're probably I'm guessing here old school and they maybe want to take a look at this and protect their members as well well the other thing too is that plus it was one of the few headliners in the opera world today who can sell out on upper house right very very difficult to do so a lot of these places including the mat ve got him from the bath coming up in a few weeks they're very reluctant right after we find a lot of people's money of Placido Domingo doesn't show up then it's also reflective of the difficulty still going on two years after the minute revelations about Harvey you know the kind of what's the felonious behavior what's an estimator behavior what's the parking ticket behavior it's still being struggled with as they go on and I think that's what they're dealing with the show the high road the Michael riddle always takes he has tickets to the men go. well why wouldn't he said of course I'm going yeah no I know he takes the high road only when the low road is crowded. well I'm not gonna miss to mingle especially now and see how he performs with these under all this prego. it would be I am I've got my real reporters had and that's why I'm going to pay for these tickets but now he never to. that's also that's also part of the business to press the call press the flight pay for all your sports tickets back when you were covering sports a sometimes I did yeah did you really times button of the vast majority of times they would they would copy what they what they what's the weather here in the press box yeah or is sometimes you get seats are numbered and for example if the local teams won the World Series they would sell you seats but of course you got access that there were general public couldn't get so but I would pay I when you weren't people or were you were you ever on the receiving end of a of a hearty tantrum was ever matter anything you guys Roach said or did not to me I mean again we had a very vigorous conversation about this idea that you wanted this cover but I never had him call up and you know argue about something I mean we didn't write the kind of items immediately the only kind of transactional things he was talking about it was like when I was at the news in your at the post where you're writing gossip items and he into something that's not right because he was in New York figure people magazine readers didn't know or care Harvey Weinstein to behind the scene by there is one in about red pen people like that all right let me a couple times so Billy bush which is that he did what the other vehicle he yelled at a Broadway musical called finding Neverland that I was reporting on let's start of that age any would you guys I'm gonna call Rupert Murdoch I know your publisher in I was always I know this person I need right that was just kind of way of threatening you right we pie yeah Ted Darling absolutely Larry as always thank you so much my pleasure thanks Larry already have it in here Larry Hackett of course ABC contributor former editor people magazine Larry Hackett with us are coming up next with the latest wrinkle of Jeffrey Aston affair this is getting curiouser and curiouser the waves of race the prestige is Boston area university Hey your health and well being are and should be one of the main priorities of your life I know that I'm gonna do everything I can not to get sick this winter that's why I've been taking balance of nature imagine real thirty one hole right and fruits and vegetables ground.

"A lot to cover the Markley in band camp show. Jamie Markley David van camp or an hour away from the Friday five looking forward to that. Absolutely before we get there. Well, Chris Christie. He's been making the rounds. He's got a book and man, he's trashing some Republicans. Yeah. He is. He's talked about the Billy Bush weekend before saying that, oh, this was the only time I saw Trump truly embarrassed and kind of related to that. He went off this on Sirius XM on a serious series XM show went off on former speaker of the house Paul Ryan for not helping Trump during the campaign, even as the leader of the Republican party interesting. Wow. Out there single these different things during the campaign. Billy Bush weekends called cancelled a rally, the Kelly Trump was supposed to have. I mean, it's what everybody hates about politics. It's showboating. You know, I was in there. Trying to fix the problem. Pulls out there putting their press releases. And this is what people hate about politicians. The phone calling candidate Trump the. Time. Bush time and saying, hey, I'm speaker of the house on the leader of the Republican party come really upset and disappointed with you. I want explanation. There was never any of that. It's like all of a sudden, we get an incoming over the transom of a Paul Ryan missive through to repress release. Try to say he took the gutless way out economy. Well, you know, we talked about it at the time with Paul Ryan where he comes out. And he says remember this. I just not there yet when it comes to supporting the president thing with Paul Ryan is I could have respected him if he had gone through that whole process if he had just said, I'm going to stay out of this and publicly said that instead of trying to kind of split the difference. It's like you got to pick a side at some point. If you're at that point dies, drinking Republican you're supposed to be the leader of the party. Your job is to kind of pick a side. If you really don't like this guy is the nominee president or candidate Trump the come out and say he already did. But no but late in the campaign. He was not there to say that I don't like this guy was backing. Yeah, he was he was trying to split the difference a little bit. Yeah. He was trying to play both sides like either stay out of it or get into it. I didn't think I'd have to defend Paul Ryan at all. You can say a lot of things in retrospect, if you remember that weekend, the whole Billy Bush thing most people. Yeah, they won't say it on the record now. But you, and I both know it, and there's a lot of conservatives and people in our business thought it was over that was the first text I sent to you. This is done..

Think busy Phillips claims that James Franco assaulted her on the set of freaks and geeks. Busy Phillips. Busy Phillips is not busy. She got time. She got to start some drama today. Busy isn't everything. She's in Amy Schumer, latest movie as one of the best gal there, two friends that Amy hangs out with all the time. She's one of them. I feel pretty in a new excerpt from her upcoming memoir. This will only heard a little busy Phillips is claiming her freaks and geeks co, star, James Franco assaulted her while they were filming a scene for the series. The scene required her character character to gently hit Franco in the chest during her lines of dialogue, Franco was caught off guard, and this directive was included in the script and subsequently broke character to yell at Phillips. He Greg, both my arms and screamed in my face. Don't ever touch me again. And he threw me to the ground only let them I back when knocked out of me. Oh my God. Earlier this year, of course, many women accused Franko various instances of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior. He has maintained that these allegations are quote not accurate, although he will not quote actively refute them so that their voices can be hard. I remember his non apology. I have time to explain explain what's not accurate. Same thing with Matt Lauer. He's like, something's true, and something's aren't first of all your fire. So you have time everybody wants to come to you. And the thing is with these guys, they write stories, Matt Lauer writes a story, right? Right.
