"Is Billy Budd Caroline thank you so much Leah now the US is played down reports that it could still Chinese companies on listing on American exchanges a treasury official said that Washington has no plans quite this time to take such a step well at the same time China has vowed to continue opening up its financial markets ahead of what type is next round of trade negotiations between the US and China the more they said they would put a silly the wind joins us now from our Beijing bureau really good to speak to Selena as you of course it trying to head into this very important anniversary week for the week of holidays what is the US saying about this about this issue around limiting access to to finance. well from the U. S. side they've really played down that Bloomberg news report about limiting the fund inflows into China and from Beijing so far we haven't heard an official response but we did get a statement over the weekend from China's financial regulatory body saying that they're going to continue with its financial market opening and to encourage foreign investment China over the past couple of years has actually made significant reforms to its financial sector including removing foreign ownership caps for securities mutual fund companies and life insurers by next year regulators have also open the door for full blown local big takeovers with the likes of UBS JP Morgan and no more of receiving approval for control of their local joint venture so despite this very tense rhetoric we're hearing from the US and the ongoing trade war China's measures to open its financial sector likely aren't going to stop since it also helps China in terms of modernizing its financial system and balancing its current account balance which has at its surplus has narrowed significantly over the past decade yes it is very interesting we keep it that something that pushes from one side from Washington one direction Beijing very much pushing in a different direction and of course there's the October trade talks coming UP the week of October the seventh I mean the things of the the White House allegedly has been considering not really on the list the house trying to going to approach this trade talks now. well it certainly complicates matter of vice premier the who leads the negotiating tree team is going to be heading to the U. S. after this week long holiday in China even though it's unclear how far these discussions have progressed the fact that they took place at all certainly sends a clear signal to China that US in China relations remain extremely tense the fact that these discussions took place also reinforced the view among some hawks in Beijing that Washington is really trying to contain China's economic crisis and this threat also does run the risk of some rappers of reciprocity from China given that China is a much bigger player in the U. S. portfolio markets than the U. S. as in China although we likely won't see it get to that point unless we see some real action being taken from from the US but I think boomer economist Tom orally puts it well which says that this latest report makes it hard to avoid the conclusion that a significant de coupling is under way and made tariffs your tighter controls on Chinese acquisitions in the U. S. sanctions on technology and now a potential impact on investment flows between the two countries they have potentially to competing services in the world meanwhile who speak to Sony allowed this morning one of our guests she was saying that the message that she go on a trip to China was that the Chinese economy is performing well that the that is the resilience of the trade war the PMI data I know is not that great so what do you make of the latest data out of China. the latest reading wasn't a surprise it was slightly better than expected but what economists are mostly focusing on is the fact that the official PMI reading showed the manufacturing sector in contractionary territory for the fifth straight month so this isn't really a sign of recovery or stabilization it's a bit of a small rebound amid a grim outlook there's of course a weak global demand a deepening manufacturing slowdown in Japan in the euro area China has had some weaker retail and investment growth as well which we've no clear domestic driver to pick up that slack. and if Mr expecting the PMI to remain under pressure for the next coming months given all of the head winds including the trade war of course so we should expect to see some monetary stimulus coming for the P. B. O. C. but nothing dramatic Selena thank you so much less in wine joining us live from our Beijing bureau with some some interesting background to what's really driving markets to some extent of the mind which is this story coming out.

I'm sure they also provide onset tentacle advice combined air force operations center technical advisors, airmen extras from the LA in Edwards Air Force base. I I'm really now thinking about it as we mentioned earlier, these people are not like the airmen that are being brought in like they're not being paid really for this thing now off day, they get paid as an extra. Because you're not yet. You're not a part of the Screen Actors Guild. So the first ironman films also credit the DOD in their credits. Also sat on the Chechen Comecon military panel though is named loved acted in the army's reports. There's some more interesting with Comecon in the military that will get into later but for now. Already enough. The US Marine Corps. US MCS Horford them leader were also involved in iron, man, two. Including having a military technical advisor on set to review a drone seen specifically or wrenching. An after. I was meeting in the film, wrapped up view in the rough cut holding the private screenings attending the world premiere alongside ironman silver of their films in the marvel universe have been system by the DOD, and or other government agencies, for example, the incredible hulk employed, former Canadian arm army sergeant major Al ver-, Glenn as a military advisor and think the Canadian armed forces in the credits that is at the end of the undergrads, you can find screen shots of these like, they're fully like think US government like we love you. The producers of Thor had former navy seal hairy. Also works an iron, man. Oh, boy, captain America. "And if you haven't seen it, you should watch it because historically, it's a wonderful document. I had a little tiny red car in those days. And I drove out to the studio of the first time I was called and pinewood you have the studios, and then the back there's a lot which is, you know, fields. But they built the whole sent a section of the Titanic at a forty well, thirty five degree angle and. I'll have to work on me I angle and if. And it was all lit up and you come round the corner. And there it is as if it sink. It was a night say looked as if it was sinking into the ground. It was an image. I have you know, you have those images or stay with you forever. And then I did the whole thing when we were in rice lip Lido in the water never for more than five minutes. It was only ten degrees warmer than it wasn't the Atlantic. So it was very very cold, and they had nurses and things to try and keep us, warm and everything and. I learned years later that Harold bride was so upset I don't know why telegraph operators to bring. Was sent to that. It was CQ de come creek distress. And they sent out SOS, but he went to Scotland through crofters cottage way in the north of Scotland and became a recluse. And the only reason I knew it was it was a little note in the paper that said he died. Being that it was based on the true story, the Titanic and that you were freezing water was there like a motion oil. Problems with the actors after that any of them get really upset if they did they kept it from me. I never knew anybody who suffered nuts a job of work, and they take great care of you. And some survivors did come to the premier. I went to all. Yeah. We had leeann reunions of all survivors same with the coldest story that I didn't was all about the escapes from this prisoner of war camp. The survivors of that used to go to the visit pub just by King's Cross, and we'd all meet there. We'd all go kept going. It was like my mother used to play in a quintet. And then she played in a quartet. And then she played in a trio. And then it was the. It was unaccompanied. This is the way these things I think the last survivor, your, what was your opinion on current Titanic film? I've never watched it all the way through. I've tried to watch it. But to me, it seemed to be more of a. I'm not saying the word denigrating. I'm more of soap opera is more about sort of a love story between Amanda woman rather than a documentary about what happened. Yeah. And having the images and remembering and meeting all the people that I met. It just I I'm not good at it was at the largest pro British production of the decade. I believe and the loan. The biggest film that the Rank Organisation had had made will. Yeah. Just today building that set. Yeah. Must have been tremendous. Yeah. Yeah. And then another boat picture. I did was Billy Budd. Oh, sure. Well, ask you about Billy Budd with Ustinov and Melvyn Douglas, and all those people my favorite play about that movie was the cameraman who operated the whole movie whenever the ship.

And Jason you didn't think anything of it. Yeah. We've talked about this like, what do you think happens in the world like, yeah. That's like if there's any kind of public place, it is co opted by people who take advantage of it. That's the way the world is now it was so crazy because it was like a library. Like we went in. We went into the library because we're gonna wax Jason. And it was gonna be this bit where we wax his chest and everything and he'd have to be quiet. And I thought that'd be fun. But but but I was also like God. I don't want to be like to do she about this share? And like there's going to be kids around. And I don't want like kids seeing I was going to not make any noise. And he said, none of your business. And and then and then I got kind of scared. And then I was like, oh, no, no. I'm in the right here. He should not be watching porn you start apologizing. I'm sorry. I mean, like I said, maybe maybe he's looking for his daughter mean that or maybe he was looking up a friend. Maybe he wants maybe he works in the porn business. No. I don't think. So. "Sure, all the cake, you could take home to your spouse that has a Gora phobia didn't didn't join I'm thinking some case where the couple of needed some leatherman or something, and nobody had want in the one guy in cargo pants is like, well, the thing is if you're if you need a leatherman, you should you're going to be wearing a utility belt. You don't put your leather man in your cargo. Sure wedding. No. And it should be done as utility events. You have like little sleepy gas all kinds of gas canister homes. Well, you're bat rope does have a bad compass? Well with them ever being like, let's see the Riddler says, it's he's at the old event and amusement park in north Gotham. But which equates north I bet it's embedded in his helmet. It's a heads up display. He doesn't get lost. That men always does which way is north because he's Batman. He got taught in a monastery somewhere. I do not get lost. There's one particular superstition that I have always been very interested in in eighteen Fifty-eight. There's a poet American poet named John greenleaf Whittier who quicker guy as a result prominent abolitionist of his era not read much today. But he's the kind of poet that if you were an American school child in eighteen ninety or nineteen thirty or nineteen fifty you would be sick of because he was just assigned, and you would have to know about his guy that wrote about the barefoot boy with cheek of tan, I don't know do you do, you know about the barefoot boy with cheek of ten. We talked about his his butt cheek. Yeah. He's got ten, but he's European and he goes to nude beaches ten line. I don't. But you know, he's he is precisely what people in the nineties referred to as the white male cannon that needed to be supplanted by more diverse. And he's a pretty good argument for it. Right. It's like people teaching the same crap for just because someone else taught at like guest. These kids have to read. Silence martyr and the boy stood on the burning deck. Right. We only have forty books. So. There you go Billy Budd again. So it's very easy to be cynical. And my daughter brings home to six books, they're reading and they're all different kinds of immigrant experience. Which is what my kids are reading this year. But really when you're seeing our replaced, the Quaker poet John greenleaf Whittier, you're okay with it. He also wrote. I didn't. I just interject. I did not mean a minute ago to imply that Melville did not belong in the canon. Just that Billy Budd is not as best work. I see right. We do not. I'm not anti Melville. I'm just not pro Billy you got fan mail for mentioning Bartle via the Scrivener on this program. So you want to tread lightly with the Melville liens the Nell village people. Well, whatever they're called the thing is I'm one of them. I just you know, there are some books that are better than others. You either live as a male hero or you live long enough to see yourself became the Melville. Ian. Oh, that's terrible. Mel villain. Yeah. It would be spelled differently. Although the world is full of people who spell it billion. And they all have it's like the internet like, and that's when I I learned that all of my none of my friends could spell definitely half the people..

"Tom shillue back with the Tom shillue show. We are talking to America. Do you believe America that the well do you buy the the numbers? Drudge put him up today. Five thirty eight blocks is the Democrats are going to take the house. Are you convinced? What's your feeling that you see the Trump rallies? I know when I talked to a lot of conservatives, they think, oh, it's to be once again, the the conservatives are going to surprise you. Do you agree? Dawn listening on the FOX app. In Teaneck New Jersey. Yeah. Hi, tom. Hey, I want you to know that back in twenty sixteen when I saw Donald Trump come down the golden escalator at Trump Tower. A little voice told me he was going to become president. And I had the opportunity to wager on that with European friend of mine, and I want a lot of money. You did a lot of money. Yes. And I want you to also know that I believe that the Democrats will not take the house. I believe that the Republicans will lose a seat or two, but they will not lose control the house. And I believe they may get as many as four Senate seats, and that they're going to be in much better shape than they are now, and that they will thank Donald Trump because it's his leadership is energy. And most of all he is the best sales person ever cloaked in the robes of president of the United States that we've had this man is an incredible salesperson. He is able to take complicated subjects and present them to the audiences in small bite. So they come along with him. They get it. And they believe in him because he's always telling them he believes in them. Nice one were you more. Now, you said the escalator did it for you. I always I admit that I came along little later, I came along after the first big Republican debate that one when Megan Kelly hit him with that question. And then he said only Rosie O'Donnell, and I just really cracked up. And I said, you know, what he he might win this whole thing. So were you more confident the day of the escalator or election night? I was exactly as confident going through the whole circumstance, my European friend who proposed that we bet about this election. He came back to me. The I I think it was the first week of October when we had the Billy Budd incident with access Hollywood. Oh, yeah. Billy boy. Billy bush. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. And asked me if we should increase the bet, and I said, I'd be delighted to do that. And he came back to me third time the Saturday before the election and asked if I would consider increasing the bed again. And I said, I'll do it. That's a man. Yeah. We we had a wonderful time with European money. That is fantastic. And Don, the that the Billy Bush thing that was another example where the president he he by force of will, you know, that was like his darkest week. According to the media, they said, and if people were jumping ship, I think Paul Ryan jumping Republicans abandoning him completely. And then he went to the debate. And he brought all of Bill Clinton's accusers. It was outrageous. But of course, the gambit worked quite amazing judge most people Judge Donald Trump, by the standards that applied to his predecessors. But he's nothing like his predecessors. And therefore he's turned the game on its head. And. Until and unless Democrats can I understand how good he is at outplaying them and find.

They think I should give her a shot. This sounds like you talked to women. Because they're inserting, because what happens they start themselves into the fucking situation and you know they, that's just how it is. Now, if you ask the fucking guy, you know, I don't know what we do. We caught block is what the fuck we do. It's funny. Women encourage go ahead, go Hobo data data. We could caught block. It's it's bad anyways. What do you think Bill Billy Budd plug? Am I being too harsh or is she doing her best? FREDDY, Krueger impression. Thanks. I go with the gut dude. You know what I mean? That's going to be the why for your kids, you're gonna have to say the kids one day. What was it like when you first met your mother was? She was amendment. Her mother, I was cool, but then I got the vibe that she wanted to keep me in a body bag of some shit. You guys want to get ice cream, you know, fuck that. Fuck that. I would go with. You got plenty of fish in the sea. Walk away. Dated for five years and you didn't. You didn't propose to me. She's already putting pressure on you. I don't know if somebody's putting pressure on her, but she's putting pressure on herself, but like that's her fucking problem. That's not your. You want that you want that and your life. Space flight. I want to. Ego, outer space, there's no fucking they're look at my fucking vase. Hey, Bill. If you could download your consciousness into a computer slash robot in order to travel into space, would you. What the fuck. I don't know what that means download by consciousness into a computer slash robot in order to travel into space. Would you. No, I'm how. How could I do that? Can you do that? Now you can do that and they can't cure hair loss. Do the biggest fuck scam ever. I mean, the point of moving, your consciousness is to live longer and not have the survival requirements. We normally have like oxygen, food, all, and having to take shits. You might just need some electric which seems easier to produce than oxygen. And food in a long space. Right. I don't know. My girlfriend broke up with me like a month ago and I'm drunk just spitballing here. Wait a minute. I go to see if this is like some shit they're working on right now. This is how dumb I, it's all behind the time. I am technology like I'm actually seeing. Can you wake and you download your consciousness into a fucking view. What do I look up here? What fucking lists am I going to get put on? If I fuck and look this up downloading. Consciousness mind uploading. What enough? Okay. And as a picture says, cyborg whole brain. Emulation, our WB mind. Upload our brain upload sometimes called mind. Copying our mind transfer is the hypothetical hypothetical, futuristic process of scanning the mental state, including long term memory and self of a particular brain substrate and copy it to a computer. Do you realize do you realize that you could. It, I you. Okay. Let's just say they could do that like they could do that right now. The dumbest thing to do is to is to be part of that I wave and do it, don't fuck into it because you don't know what's going to happen. And then also very quickly they're going to be like, well, are there some things that I could like maybe delete some memories like if you had some chicken could never get over, you could just delete that out of your brain. You know. Or something really fucking humiliating happen to you that caused you to become like, introverted, maybe get rid of that maybe could become a better person, or is it the painful things that make us stronger. That makes us who we are. When we return, we'll be bringing Dr Joyce brothers in here. I never instead all those doctors like Dr Joyce. By this every day, she's on the Hollywood squares. "Over the nation. Some of the most corrupt senators in American history are getting away with this without any pushback from the other side because they're all basically corrupt and they are afraid of bringing investigation because they're afraid it'll backfire on them in plain English. So we the people have no representation when it comes down to it except in the White House for large part, we have it with the president. And even he had to come out in the middle today and say, well, they have to do what they have to do. What else you wanted to say he can't come out against it? Now. Now say he hates women. They know how this works. So I got an Email from someone who says that something happened to her when she was young. And she says you remember everything that happened at that time. There is no vagueness to what happened. It's as clear as a bell for the rest of your life. The same Email as says, she doesn't believe Ford at all. She hates her voice hates she pretends to be a little schoolgirl, whining and crying. And also says that if Ford bench and Kavanagh's name to shrink by name. The shrink would have the name. But the shrink doesn't remember the because she never mentioned it. The whole is character destruction and a setup it almost reminds me of some literature that you might have heard about like Billy Budd, for example, the innocent semen who's hung at the end. Remember that if you remember ancient literature Melville, Billy Budd, that's one story that comes to my mind. He's the innocent semen, the honest one that everyone loved and as they're about to hang him from a yard on. I'm sorry. That is a word if they're about to hang hanging from the yard on. This is a family show. There's a nautical phrase yard on the hanging from the yard on. He looks to the other guys. And he says I'm innocent. I didn't do it. And they all say, Billy. We know it. But we gotta go along with the captain see what I'm saying. This is biblical it actually Billy Budd was a representation of the crucifixion of Jesus. And if you want me to get really allegorical here, I've said it yesterday repeated today Cavanaugh is not a perfect man because none of us are. But he's about as clean guys you're ever gonna find as far as I could tell this guy is a squeaky, clean Catholic. Schoolboy a bushy. There are people like that. They're not like most other people many of them are good guys. So they will wild in college and school doesn't mean they were, rapists. No does that mean that they did horrible things. I doubt it the guy has been through so much. He's a federal judge. He's gone through two or three FBI investigations. There wasn't a peep about him his whole life. Then all of a sudden this filthy creature from the swamp of San Francisco the woman who approves of the leather parade that you'll see in San Francisco on Sunday where men beat each other up in the streets while wearing leather practically fornicated on floats are Nancy Pelosi, call themselves grand marshals of this disgusting behavior that they say nothing about instead, they come up with a trumped up charge against this guy and make it sound like it's real. So here's a guy in many ways who was an allegory not for Billy Budd, which was an allegory for Jesus Christ, by the way. Now, I have said to you. And I'll repeat again as I see it this hatred for Cavanaugh. He is the repository of hatred for all white heterosexual, Christian males. And I'll repeat it because I'm not going to change my opinion. That is my firm opinion of what's going on here all of this hatred that you have seen for men. Coming up over the last years after Obama got through with manipulating and molding the mind in a mass hysteria fit. What he did to this country will never recover from that demon eight years of the monarch behavior by Obama hatred that never stopped from the day. He started and flooding America with anti-americans from the get-go changing districts changing votes changing minds eight straight years of it all of it directed at one particular type of American heterosexual, white Christian males all of it aimed at them. So he basically represents that segment of the population where you're guilty just for being a heterosexual Caucasian straight Christian. You understand that? And who was a straight heterosexual Christian first Jesus. So this is a hatred of Christianity as well. I've said this over the years I said years ago, and I wasn't crucified for it. Maybe I'll be crucified now in the new climate of the witch hunt. But you know, this is the thing about radio that I gotta tell you like from from my heart again. I'm in almost a quarter of a century. Lots of stuff has happened to me all not all good. But great job in grey. It's been a great, right? Just a great, right? I've had impediments. I've had stumbling blocks put my way I've had people say hateful things about me. But none of it. None of it stopped me. But things have changed so fast in the world of the media that no one knows what tomorrow will bring and nobody knows what will hit them tomorrow. Look, look what happened to a guy like Bill O'Reilly. This guy was a giant. And he was a a fabulous TV broadcaster. Make no mistake about it. In fact, when I was condemned by Britain, he was the only one on Fox News who came to my defense, by the way, we never met each other. I know he didn't like me. But the thing is he did the right thing. O'reilly was a good guy. But look they throw him off the air. And now the the under the under study there thinks he's a genius now because his ratings went up all of a sudden wall banger because there's no Riley. And I wall brand is the genius now all of a sudden genius. So the world's changing we're living through not a witch trial but something else, and we thought it was bad with the Trump witch-hunt which is not yet over now. It's the cavenaugh witch-hunt. Now, what the Trump and capital have in common. What what are the commonalities between Trump and Cavanaugh? Well, let's see they're both men check that. They're both white check that they're both heterosexual check that. And they're both Christians check that. So if you check all those boxes, and you look at the hatred coming out of the illegitimate left. You understand what this is? This is a generic attack upon those characteristics as much as anything else is absolutely no reason to close a fi this man and agonize him any further they put spikes in his feet and his hands. The band's hanging there on the way. And now they're throwing salt on his wounds. That's what little to shoes Feinstein did today. I love how she makes believe she's so honest and clean up the part that gets me if only she was vicious, I can accept it more. If she actually showed up fangs. And showed what she really is behind the scenes, if all the I could see the viciousness in public once I wouldn't be so at angry right now so upset but that act of ours. How can anybody by that act from that woman, and how do the Republicans put up with it? Why don't they investigate her with all those allegations swirling about her all these years, even the LA times covered the allegations years ago before that newspaper got sold down the river. There is no newspaper in San Francisco, as you well know, the newspapers disappeared a long time ago, these mimeographed sheets of the democrat party. That's all it is a mimeographed sheet that comes out of willy Brown's basement somewhere. That's what the chronicle has become there's no reporting zero. If you're an opposition member as I am and the most prominent opposition member in San Francisco, as I am the only prominent voice that has a national platform is me, and yet you never see my name in that Soviet style mimeographed sheet because there is no newspaper. It's a house organ. You'd think they'd want to occasionally publish an opposition viewpoint. But no, one cares. Nobody wants to see you turn on Fox News conservative commentators. No one ever heard of. But I'm never heard why am I never heard? Well, look at some of the things I say, I try to verify do have a background that someone verifiable. I mean, I have a real PHD from great university. It's not a university in a parking lot in Palo Alto. You'd think that verified source after six bestselling books in a row six in a row, but I don't exist. I'm not entitled to exist in this nation. But I do somehow I still keep going on. I keep going on. Now. I gotta ask you something personally for those of you were hanging on today with what's going on. And you don't know which way to turn. Maybe my outrage helps you a little because I speak for you. Maybe that's part of my job is to be a little relief valve for the people in this country. Who don't know what to do? No anger, nothing. They still go on and on the nice suit the nice tie. Not a beat them sweat. Nothing. Means nothing to them. It's all a joke and act then they hear me get agitated like this. And they say this guy really means. Well, he does really mean it if you only knew what I really mean, you'd really be happy if you could actually hear what I actually say you'd really be happy. You're just seeing that hearing the tip of the iceberg. You can hear this. And the residents of my. Voice. "North Dakota. It is the Savage Nation. Not rock and roll Friday. Does nothing to be happy about we have lost the nation. The demonic you've taken over the nation. Some of the most corrupt senators in American history are getting away with this without any pushback from the other side because they're all basically corrupt and they're afraid of bringing investigation because they're afraid it'll backfire on them in plain English. So we the people have no representation when it comes down to it except in the White House for large part, we have it with the president. And even he had to come out in the middle today and say, well, they have to do they with after do what else you wanted to say he can't come out against it? Now. They'll say he hates women. They know how this works. So I got an Email from someone who says that something happened to her when she was young. And she says you remember everything that happened at that time there is no vagueness to what happened. It's as clear as a bell for the rest of your life. The same Email as says, she doesn't believe for it at all. She hates her voice hates she pretends to be a little schoolgirl, whining and crying. And also says if Ford bench and Kavanagh's name to her shrink by name. The shrink would have the name. But the shrink doesn't remember the because she never mentioned it. The whole character destruction and a setup it almost reminds me of some literature that you might have heard about like, Billy Budd. For example, the innocent semen is hung at the end. Remember that if you remember ancient literature Melville, Rhode Billy Budd, that's one story that comes to my mind. He's the innocent semen, the honest one that everyone loved and as they're about to hang him from a yard on. I'm sorry. That is a word if they're about to hanging from the yard on this is a family show an nautical phrase yard on the hanging from the yard on. He looks to the other guys. And he says I'm innocent. I didn't do it. And they all say, Billy. We know it. But we gotta go along with the captain shoot. I'm saying this is biblical it actually Billy Budd was representation of the crucifixion of Jesus. And if you want me to get really allegorical here, I've said it yesterday sommes repeat it today. Cavanaugh is not a perfect man because none of us are. But he's about as clean guys you're ever gonna find as far as I could tell this guy is a squeaky clean Catholic school. Boy bushy there are people like that. They're not like most other people many of them are good guys. So they will wild in college and school doesn't mean that they were, rapists. No does that mean that they did horrible things. I doubt it the guy has been through so much. She's a federal judge. He's gone through two or three FBI investigations. There wasn't a peep about him his whole life. Then all of a sudden this filthy creature from the swamp of San Francisco the woman who approves of the leather parade that you'll see in San Francisco on Sunday where men beat each other up in the streets while wearing leather practically fornicated on floats horror, Nancy Pelosi, call themselves grand marshals of this disgusting behavior that they say nothing about instead, they come up with a trumped up charge against this guy and make it sound like it's real. So here's a guy in many ways who was an allegory not for Billy Budd, which was an allegory for Jesus Christ, by the way. Now, I have said to you. And I'll repeat again as I see it this hatred for cabinet. What he did to this country will never recover from that Beamon eight years of the monarch behavior by Obama hatred that never stopped from the day. He started and flooding America with anti-americans from the get-go change Jing districts changing votes changing minds eight straight years of it all of it directed at one particular type of American heterosexual, white Christian males all of it aimed at them. I'm in this for almost a quarter of a century. Lots of stuff has happened to me all not all good. But great. So all been great. Look what happened to a guy like Bill O'Reilly? This guy was a giant. And he was a fabulous TV broadcaster. Make no mistake about it. In fact, when I was condemned by Britain, he was the only one on Fox News who came to my defense, by the way, we never met each other. I know he didn't like me. But the thing is he did the right thing. O'reilly was a good guy. But look they throw them off the air. And now the the under the under study there thinks he's a genius now because his ratings went up all of a sudden wall banger because there's no Riley wall. Brand is the genius now all of a sudden genius. So the world's changing living through not a witch trial. But something else. And we thought it was bad with the Trump which hunt which is not yet over now. It's the cabinet witch-hunt. Now, what the Trump and capital have in common. What what are the commonalities between Trump and cavenaugh? Well, let's see they're both men check that. They're both white check that they're both heterosexual check that. And they both Christians check that. So if you check all those boxes, and you look at the hatred coming out of the illegitimate left. You understand what this is? This is a generic attack upon those characteristics as much as anything else. There's absolutely no reason to crucify this man and agonize him any further they put spikes in his feet and his hands the vans hanging there on the way. And now they're throwing salt on his wounds. That's what little to shoes Feinstein did today. I love how she makes believe she's so honest and clean. That's the part. That gets me if all the she was vicious, I can accept it more. If she actually showed up fangs. And showed what she really is behind the scenes, if only I could see the vicious this in public once I wouldn't be so at angry right now so upset but that act of ours. How can anybody by that act from that woman, and how do the Republicans put up with it? Why don't they investigate her with all those allegations swirling about her all these years, even the LA times covered the allegations years ago before that newspaper got sold down the river. "Playing child twelve and cheaper by the dozen. Oh, good. I just got an Email from my executive producer of wits. A little bit of good news. If you wouldn't mind me sharing her we just found out a couple of minutes ago that the Jason show was nominated for an EMMY award. So. For best arts and entertainment program. So cool. Congratulations. Thank you. I just got that Email. So it's very nice. Just. This is the upper midwest NBC. Yup. Yup. Yup. So yeah, it's happening in October. Now this category. I never this is I think the second or third time we've been nominated. It's it's hard to win in this category. Because I go up against a public television. Go up against fancy shows. Like, for instance, I'm going up against the Des Moines. Metro opera presents Billy Budd and then track performance by ballet quad cities. I wha public television. And then I'm also going up against the rhythm of life by pioneer public television. So yeah. And then they get to my show. This. Wasn't one particular episode or is it? Harrison schmitt. Yeah. You're you only are allowed to submit one episode. So we submitted. I believe the episode with page Davis. My interview with page Davis that was a really fun show. But again, you know, we're going up against demoain metro opera presents Billy Budd. It's very fancy. So I don't know. Well, congratulations to our crew. And yeah, they're they're a great group of people and. They helped make a shine every day. So thank you very much everybody. Congratulations to my my TV family. It is six fifty one. Now, lex if you can pull off this story, I've been to type it in. But I got that Email, and it kinda distracted me as you can imagine. What about your harm? Would you do it for that for free? No, no, no. No, no. Well, if you're in Russia or does someone there who might want some free pizza. Through the end of October. There's no way it'd be like pizza, but not enough not enough to get something tattooed to my head. Yeah. I'll pay for it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, come on. Little reduc less. That's a little. That's that's nuts. Three hundred and fifty people right away. Did it really? Yeah. Well pizza. I mean, I tell you going back to a conversation two minutes ago. Mytalk. "Child twelve and cheaper by the dozen. Good. I just got an Email from my executive producer with a little bit of good news. If you wouldn't mind me sharing her we just found out a couple of minutes ago that the Jason show was nominated for an EMMY award. So. For best arts and entertainment program. So cool. Congratulations. Thank you. Just got that Email. So that's very nice. Metro opera presents Billy Budd and then to Acura performance by ballet quad cities. I wha public television. And then I'm also going up against the rhythm of life by pioneer public television. So yeah. And then they get to my show. This. Wasn't one particular episode or is it? Submit. Yeah, you're you only are allowed to submit one episode. So we submitted. I believe the episode with page Davis. My interview with page Davis that was a really fun show. But again, we're going up against demoain metro opera presents Billy Budd thought it. Oh. Like that. It's very fancy. So I don't know. Well, congratulations to our crew. And thanks. Yeah. They're they're a great group of people and. They helped make a shine every day. So thank you very much everybody. Congratulations to my my my TV family. It is six fifty one. Now, if you can pull out this story, I've been to type it in. But I got that Email, and it kinda distracted me as you can imagine. May I ask ask why you've typed in the sheet on our the sheet on our show the words tattoo for free pizza? Oh, yeah. I'm wondering if you guys would do this. I saw this on national. Okay. You could get this is in Russia. So okay. Well, it's in Russia, but it happened here. Would you guys do this? Okay. We have to go to Russia to get these great. Well, the Domino's franchise they're they are saying, hey, if you get the Domino's logo on a prominent spot on your body as a tattoo, you could win free pizza for your life. Go for your life for your life. Let's say you guys. Sure. Okay. Well, it's for you get one hundred pizzas for one hundred years. So I mean, I mean how long everyone's expecting to live, but that's a long while lex. Thanks. So and a lot of people are doing this guys. Photos of the Domino's. It's a cute little logo. But there's little domino. Yeah. Yeah. It's pink red and blue. And and so people are getting on their faces on their necks on their upper arms. I don't want to get it on my face. I don't wanna get any tattoo on my face or neck. No, I'm not getting that. What about on your arm? Would you do it for that for free? No, no, no, no. Well, if you're in Russia, or if you know someone there who might want some free pizza. Through the end of October. Okay. There's no way I'd be like pizza, but not enough not enough to get something tattoo to my head. Yeah. I'll pay for it. Yeah. I mean, come on. That's a little ridiculous. A little income. That's that's nuts. Three hundred and fifty people right away. Did it really? Yeah. Well pizza. I mean, I'll tell you going back to a conversation. Two minutes ago. A mytalkers a friend gentleman named jas got my logo from the Jason show tattooed on his calf. Yes. Get anything for needing get any free pizza meal. I gave him a hug you gave him one of those mugs or something. Oh, yeah. He can have any you on. Our new season mugs are really nice. But anyway. But yeah, he got my logo is on his leg. Wow. Well, there you go. Somebody's kid my name on their head for fifty cent. Tickets one serious. Yeah. It was the dude who had. Yeah. My my logo for my show at least he got some concert tickets was normally bald or did he shave for the tattoo? Then you're here we go back in no big deal. No. He was normally bald. Looks now. Into something else. But where on his Mellon on the back of his head like the base of his skull? More on a guy's melon. No, I think he probably turn the tattoo into something else. But still that is hysterical. And it's for fifty cents tickets. Now it was famous for performing for about. No life, fifteen minutes. He had like ten artists that would come on before him. Not kidding. So at the concert we were at. Yeah. It took him forever to get out there like three hours, and then when he did perform I think somebody clocked it at fourteen minutes. Wow. And that was it. Yeah. Everybody was so mad. He's like, that's all I got for you guys. Oh, man. Dang tattoo. We should do that sometime. Just be like, okay. We have a good today. We only have a good fifteen minutes on us. Yeah. Guest stars fifteen minutes,.

"This was a genuine story that i could live with all sorts of inconsistencies are the problems but tomatoes felt like yeah this'll do you know if you would ask a computer can you make a hit with say the movie going crowded don't get out to movies very often but will enjoy this on the telly at christmas it would come up with something like this there's a romance chased heroin time drama inherent bad about that cinema it's a it's a it's a business baby okay well i think we have to stop now because literally what she my parents but i want to say about lily probably nothing to do with the fact that we can connect with this performance i suspect that any actress in this kate winslet one plant granny was going to direct but yeah so let's see schools despite what how things sound actually that huge fan of it should people go and see it yeah to patient full enjoyment what a good room and then three in retrospect okay so david my anticipation was fairly modest so too i was surprised but threes suggest in order faith people against this i think he says superior version over kind of tried and tested formula i don't think i need to keep him ice close so let's sale on than showy and next page film club tom film club is boutera vie taken from benjamin britten's oprah based on the human melville novella billy budd directed by clinton.

"Billy budd billy buddy i'm very good as young as i do you haven't heard that dude stores was main character dis willard are allowed you'll with me that was a one two eight production i'm drew massive sarajevo front back a and b sheragha think on these things but it back to their santrac it is nice because on apple music they have all of your deep as close work of focus on the family and like when he does need some good work listening music to you to set that on a play listen it's amazing but going by it too yeah yeah definitely do that all the are opening the amount of money of their paint artis there we go all right to the topic at hand jonathan park and the dreamers tomb so this is a collection of twelve episodes they're no longer releasing twelve episode albertans so this is a collection of four three episode albums now collectively called the dreamers tomb but it's comprised of the album digging deeper the mysterious statue secret of the nile and disappearing bones now we are going to just talk about all twelve of them together because it is it really is just one album i'm still a little bit mystified by that whole change of the way they do the albums these days but that's not the only change as a whole lot of changes that have gone on and we've had several listeners who have reach out to us and said when he has him talk about jonathan park we want to know what's going on with jonathan park we want to know what you think of the new jonathan park so this is this episode leah near harare via hernan to be fair on the new business model thing the six episode albums from odyssey are also something that's kind of odd to me i i understand the economics of it.

"Some people but other west everybody else and going to be confused what say saying i felt like a certain kind of sort of hyper cultured person to is this difficulty in loving things certainly loving things that we decided should we should be embarrassed about put them even loving things that were just great big you had to have found the most obscure thing but you couldn't just say you know it's great moby dick y'all it's a really good book like kids bureaux blisters like just known that in past on and make then decided that the one we really like to his senator billy budd which is also good but moby dick moby dick smith i must you're not able unit that kind of like distancing from greatness and needing to find the which i appreciate because it allows you to find all these sort of highways and byways and i just wanna play out i don't think moby dick and crash into mere the same but i do think let's embrace things that that we actually love and let's embraced things that are actually great yeah watching it on my reflection was like if i have children i can show this them and feel like this is an accurate representation of what it was like to consume culture and be a teenager in a certain time and if when you add children nami watching it lake on their shoe annabi in a lovely xu meda and lasse yeah okay couple more things like a very complicated time in hollywood for you right now yes for all people yes for all your an actress you've been in working in hollywood for tenplus plus years he obviously there's a lot of bad news going on right now wondering how you receive that news and you know as a truck and surprises it this is the same old song announced coming to light i mean i think it's heartbreaking all of it plant heartbreaks for all the people who the told their stories just tremendously brave and i is starting some really important conversations that needs to happen i think from me something that i i've i've loved about having a movie out this.
