"Our first expert is Philly. Barret goes enthused yourself toby. Toby my name is Billie Barrett. I am a blacksmith. Thank you. Let's meet our second expert. Linski Chris. He's introducing yourself to toby toby. I'm Chris Ski and I am an artisan and a welder. And I am a reenactor of a female blacksmith at Colonial Williamsburg tells about those hot and Molten. Sounds Lisa. Oh did you hear them? I did I think everybody else heard them to painting. Topsy time. That is correct. That is when we put our experts on the hot seat while they answer toby's questions. Lisa should we put on the hot? I totally buried because his initials are be just like the initials of my nickname nickname batboys. Okay Yeah I'm a math for sure. I don't WanNa mess with me fat boy okay. So Toby we're starting with billy. What is your first question for? Billy Billy would you rather get a heavier envel- or a hotter forge I would rather get a heavier and bill? Why is that? I just like heavy things. You're GONNA love your parting. Gift today. I don't think we have mice. Okay Chris and Billy what have you made the most of I'll answer I 'cause I work at colonial Williamsburg work at a historic forge. So we mostly do shoes. Oh that's cool. Do you do like high heels only for the fancy horses? How about you belly? I mostly make A little bit of everything with a specialization. In knives you make knives like knives that you cut food with everything from cutting food to serviceable tools. That you use every day very cool. Do you name any of them. Like Mac or sure to name a lot of them really. Yeah who and. What's the name of your favorite favorite favorite Tomahawk? I call stabby stabby. Okay Toby Billy What would be your second? Most favorite thing to do is make besides knives One of the things. I'd really like to do before I move on from this. Life is make a a really nice replica of an old style. Lock which is one of your skills as a Smith that you really want to try to. Master cool is homes for both of you. How old were you when you gone? Interest IN BLACK SNIFFING. Yes I'd like to know. I'd like to know how one decides that. They want to be a blacksmith. At what age does that happen? You just wake up one day and say hey I wanNA. A blacksmith. House is on fire. Let's make knives. How does that work? I studied had a minor in art in in university And so I started with glassblowing actually and then I started working at colonial Williamsburg and I saw some of the cool. Things that the blacksmiths were making in. That's the way I kind of got into it. How about you billy? Ironically when I was about twelve years old my parents took colonial Williamsburg. Is that true? Absolutely and It was a rainy day and I was begging my dad. Let me stay and watch the Blacksmith and the gentlemen still alive today and left me there for two hours and that clinched a deal for me. That was it as Peter. Ross it was Peter. Ross yes it was who is being arise. I guess he's a black one of the most well respected smithson. The World Master Blacksmith at the Anderson Forge words. Okay so Chris what what I see if I went to colonial Williamsburg. Mcdonald's like what would you see if you saw her there? Ya Okay and do you do any acting? Over's voice overs So we all portray real people that you know really lived in Eighteenth Century Colony of Williamsburg Virginia and there was a real forged called the Anderson Blacksmith Forge. And I play someone named Loretta. Frye who real person. And she was a female blacksmith. During that time we reenact what you would do or what I would she would do. I would do in the the daily routine of that person. In the eighteenth century I be dressed in eighteenth century clothing specifically what she would wear while she was working as a blacksmith. Clocking fear are going to be burned. Probably not a good idea. Kristiyo like my name is way. All your guy's name again. The Red Fra Loretta. Our blacksmith just like that old timers. Yeah pretty much. Do the voice better killing you. Just Hi I'M LORETTA. Fry and I. You know my a Blacksmith Year. They Anderson four bit of a southern accent. Yeah I hear that good okay. So for billy what are the steps to forging something that would depend on what you're making you it's It's all for your favorite thing knives for knife. It would be for me to determine what type of knife us what type of material I'm going to use. And then if I'm not sure about how I'M GONNA FORGE IT. I would forge it on clay. I deceive it's GonNa come out like I wanted to and then I just go from there. Say I'm just going to make a simple Chef's knife the first thing I'm GonNa do is forged my tip out dumber. Draw the blade out to the length that I want I'm GONNA taper down taper my blade down figure out how went to look and then just finish up so when you say you forge. Something does that mean. You put like a chunk of metal on the end of a big stick and put it over. Fire depends on the methods that you're used to work in many people do many different things. But yes you heat a piece of metal to well over a thousand degrees and then you use your hammered to shape it into the shape that you would like you ever makes more than there. Didn't they tasted terrible. I bet they had a lot of iron metal. This Chris how have used your angle personal best. Is You know. I'm not sure I've never. I've never waited but it's pretty heavy right. Do they come in many different weights and different sizes? Okay so is for both of you Is it true? That all blacksmiths are really bulky. Big Burly Guy. Sure okay. No I don't I don't think so at all. I do need a certain level of strength To use the tools. But there's a lot of intricacies to two blacksmith thing And sometimes a less bulky person could do that better I see. What do you think about that billy? I think it's Agreeable and sometimes you do have to have a delicate touch and it's one of the hardest things ever taken me to learn is that you don't always have to bash stuff small. Yeah that too but you only do that once. You've passed your fingers before. Oh No I don't WANNA know la La la La but does that sound like something. You'd like to try one day toby. What try doing some blacksmith out to? Your House is safe as long as it's safe. Yeah thing like one of you. I could like higher museum or something. You're looking for anyone. Whichever one of US want to be an Apprentice Liar.

"The right songs all the time. What's your process life stuff going stuff going on in my head? All the time Right now I'm I'm kind of writing all the time. Yeah it comes out very very slowly slower than slug in a trance but But keep at it. Yeah in the past. You worked a lot with lyricist and I understand. He passed away. Is that How do you fill that gap? Or How do you magic working going forward? We'll have always you know always working with John Birla liras host but I always road like half of alerts or usually wrote half alert as and would you have come first. And he would finish them. Generally speaking yeah Generally speaking I would come up with whatever it was that Mary that lyric to that music understood and and you'd have already the framework Melania. Leave yeah the phrasing. Yeah or you know some big notion of that yes would would. How often would a song change from the initial spirit? When writing it does not alone. Sometimes you get way different and a song as a I'm gonNA. I'M GONNA die right in here as long as a life form. It's a you know an alien life form It's organic Actually had a dream A few weeks back while Jerry came to me in the dream and Introduced a song in this song came in and it was like it was kind of it looked kind of like a great big. Rec Room sized ethereal sheepdog and it was big and friendly and came up and stiff me and I did a little bit. Came back at me and it was. It was interactive and and and then we you know then we started playing and singing the song that we we were in it. We were in the song part of it. We were part of that functioning organism tests and the dream. Sort trailed off into whatever into wherever dreams go but That just confirmed my sis. My my notion that held for the longest time that they're a song as a life form in a coming visits us and a income through certain people for whatever reasons are S and it or whatever attractions are and when it's time for it to come it's GonNa come through. You're through someone else. Yeah coming coming to this world and has come into sniff around in visit and And and hang yes and you know those goose characters in those songs you know they come in they tell their stories and and they're they're you know they they just WanNa be heard. It's beautiful just beautiful too when you woke up. Did you remember the song Not Very well. It was a jazz ballad We were singing. We were doing a duet on it when you don't hear many of those Dalit But in this particular case you know jazz ballad do do songs often come to you in in dreams. A lot of MUIRA. That's great the good ones. Yeah what a Gift I. Sometimes I'll have someone come into dream. It's hard for me to to keep them. You know it's hard for them to hang around right. Yeah you gotta get right on and what. I've what I've found is I've sort of made a deal with my little deal with my muse. Yes were you know no matter what time of day no matter what? I'm getting up I'M GONNA. I'm GonNa you know I'm going to PICK UP MY GUITAR. I'M GONNA I'M GONNA get enough of it down so that You know otherwise. Refrigerator taught visiting. Yeah and with the way you'd get it down to record something or might it meteorite. Saw generally a phone makes it real easy these days? Yeah so you'll sing it into the phone. Yeah singing and playing into your own. How did how would set lists work in in the band? Well that's interesting though the way. The dead the grateful dead used to do it is Janna would be his to start or my turn to start and take turns back and forth. We'd take aways yeah and then While we figure out the first couple of tunes that we were GonNa do maybe I three and then would generally come up with what we're GONNA wrap the setup with says right here on paper and then Then while Jerry was singing I had all the time on earth to figure out what I wanted to do next and often as not. I'd try to coax that tune out of the when we were planning when when it was done to route that went up and then he'd be doing the same thing when I was in. And would they always come or did you? Did you have a list of things to draw from you? Just always have him enough looking around or the end I you know toward the end. It was handy to have a list. Because you're the repetoire pretty expansive and and we try to stay up on all the tunes that we've brought around so we have you know the way we did things we you know. We never got around to tune. Maybe once a week. Yes how we'd cover songs work their way into the set Sometimes they just came up. You know under a signature liquor or something like that would Oh we're planning that okay. Here goes nothing. I know that there's some covers that would work their way into work their way around often in over a long period of time. Are there any that that just didn't work? Plenty plenty of weed trial ones. Who Ethic went. We tried to Pig Pen tried zing. And this is a man's world yeah I think we actually did that twice just to make sure that we it was. That bad is in theory. That sounds like that could have been good. Yeah Yeah you know we have no control over those never till you never tell how different were the members of the band. Would you say from each other like music? Wise taste-wise well. We had pig pen. Who was very very funky. He was all about blues and not much else. And then we had phil who was Into classically classically trained and And and Sort of sort of moonlighted in the Jazz World Mickey was a Marshal Drummer. He played martial. Music was a national champion rudimentary. Snare drummer he played one of those big field drums in Hindi while marching billy's I finally figured out who billy's a major influence was and he never he. I pointed it out to him. Any E allowed as I was spot on Was There was a certain era of Ray Charles that that drummer. Yeah I am. Billy Billy captured that lilt and. I don't think he I don't think he even knew he did it. I don't he. He was thinking. Consciously doing a consciously attempting to do that. It just happened and then jury was. Jerry was all over the place you loved Hilo. But he's I think is deepest. Love was probably a string band music country Buick

"Yeah do john billy billy's in a band called decades. It's actually doing pretty well. They do like the remix songs of old school stuff live. It's really they're pretty awesome anyway playing at the catalyst this weekend. Let's go see you yeah and i think they actually did get some more real like numb. More real catalysts israel actually they're not atrium yeah probably able to play main hall aw as like a middle middle not opener but middle. That's it yeah. That's dope anyway that you guys are a little guitar riff. Get after it and doing stuff. Let's do it on the big speakers. Did you had at that. I don't be so sad so leave it in you need them to know my brain. Carol loves music. She don't even she might listen to them. Even shoes worms is like chambery alpha yesterday. It was so dope sham bray shoes. She's looking fresh should we should we anything else before we get out of here. You know i was trying to think of something really cool to say i don't i don't know i don't know what to say. I mean there were nuggets. I got nothing. There's there's a lot of cool always cool chicago. Shea going on you know i. I don't know there really is. I'm really excited to be in the rosary. I've got a good energy lately. There's a good energy in the gym. That's just me saying nothing yeah. We got a meeting with alex frye globo jim. We're better than you know it just book. She it up you know oh. I think we need to have a funny podcast where i can just talk about stuff. That's totally inappropriate. Nope why because the listenership the soft after years of the people are weird okay when i can't even post about kids without losing followers so we can't do it here. I mean you're gonna lose. Followers no matter what. I don't think anybody can post anything without losing bowlers. I made that's true but there's specific things you post too much about real life stuff. Why why do you think you lost followers from. What did i put my hands like weird water. Why do you think you lost followers from posting kids. People hate it when you put certain posts about kids and your family. It's just how it is. They talk about it. It's pretty open feedback. Oh no they won't get feedback. They follow oh. What do you mean they talk about it. Though oh i see people all the time it's like jokes on the internet twitter all over the plays. Oh talk about your kid kids across the two things that people joe n vegans those three things like the three yeah. I think they're degan cross bit kids. Your instagram instagram is interesting because it's <hes> combination of your personal life your work life and and some of your other beliefs so you've probably probably got people a good portion of people who follow you just for coffey because you're a person in the golfing industry and that's all they want to see the via yeah so as soon as they're like dude. Stop talking about kids. I thought it was just going to be coffee. I was looking at youtube comments and someone literally literally wrote. I thought this is going to be more about coffee yeah and one of the other i forget i'm blanking on his name was like he's got a lot of videos about things. That don't don't have anything to do with coffee. That's coffee if you want but it's it's way more rich than that and i think this is gonna be people like that. No matter what your you all right all right. It's it's a funny anything but i think if you it's just like the niche thing it we're not. We're in a big niche here on this thing but i think i don't you know you know we know that we censor each ourselves in and say this is. This is where i was going to go so you talk about the the kids following. That's one thing that's not software is when i got into coffee at i was really attracted to because it seemed like it was a place where you could actually have open dialogue. Everything that i've really dug into in life has revolved around the idea of at the time. Some sort of a counterculture ish thing which specialty was when we were getting into this big thing like these coffee shops coffee shops were places where people can meet and talk about anything goes and and for the most part like ninety nine point nine percent people who partook in that culture and also worked at these copy houses were open to talking about. Oh yeah it's the place where like like you know. Your brain could really run. Wild anything goes yeah whether or not they agreed with you. It doesn't matter and that's the the beauty of conversation because if you're having a really intense conversation a lot of times you're gonna be coming from opposing viewpoints right and that doesn't only build understanding but it makes you think about things in different ways and it doesn't mean you have to hate each other but coffee or the vocal portion of especially coffee industry. I have come <hes> to see is like one of the most sensitive groups of people that i've ever seen in my life. Oh yeah there's there's so so many people who supported what we do and i can't think that enough but there's so much industry that almost feels like they're so incredibly fragile like too fragile to even even exist in in life that i just don't. I don't like i don't like it. I don't like talking on the microphone phone worrying. If i'm going to say something wrong and yell us about like at the and i think i used to care more like a a year or two ago. Yeah i kind of carry a little bit less less because i think for the most part the people the people that know know who we are. They know what our intentions are. They know that like the stream of good and positively right. I want everyone to kick ass. Oh for sure i'm saying i want everyone to be a fucking winner like i wanna be a champion for people who haven't heard i i want wants young people to feel empowered through work and their lives in general like that's like one of my biggest. 'cause i never felt. I didn't feel that way a lotta right. It's only when i found these little places where i thought i could thrive was when i started feeling good so to see people shutting down conversation bums me out well. That's so like like for me. I'm like okay. I wanna i wanna like respect this like not exactly family friendly show because we cuss a fair amount but like you know i i would like to respect that and and then like i listened to a lot of these comedy podcast right and a lot of things they talk about which is hilarious to me and i'm not a comic but i would be. I'd say i love aboard. They talk about a lot is that comics get to say like walk these lines because it's funny and people understand that it's funny and know that the comic it doesn't necessarily mean it right whereas like we can't do that in this podcast even though i wish and whatever i don't even necessarily need two different topics but i love the dislike have those random podcasts where you just go off and say stuff that like you say late in the night when it's just like you and your buds just cracking up about stuff that you think is hilarious that you're like like playing out movie scenes in your head that are literally would never happen that are really funny to think about that are absolutely inappropriate if it was real and laugh together because i used to be in a world where i was surrounded by people who are funny all the time and let's be real coffee industry. Y'all aren't funny anymore yeller serious up and i i actually hate it. There are funny people in the industry but there are far less funny dude. It used to be funny. There used to be so much laughter in specialty coffee because of all the reasons mostly because you're right less fragility it's and it was and and it was and the world needs more laughter and it needs more funny needs more fun and in order for that to work a lot of times you need people to be able to say stuff that is like accidentally inappropriate knowing that they don't mean anything about it or just like to be able to reframe stations and be like yeah if i were to watch that movie out actually laugh at it but because it's chris saying it's not funny johny anymore because it's chris and like he's somebody in the somebody dick and now he's a dick and i don't necessarily even know what i want to talk about but i know that there's stuff that you and me and chuck laugh about that. It's like well. Nobody could ever hear us say stuff like that because they're going to just assume terrible. So what do you think would happen if we did that here. If if we decided to record a podcast next as we got together and just said whatever we want man what do you think would happen. I love to hear what people i would say. I mean all depend on what we said. Well we sa- yeah mode. I mean is like people would just blow out of proportion because they'd be like you said that that's a i mean i'm honestly going on. What people do currently is like. You said that's this is who you are. That's basically what they do and they don't come see who you are. They just like tell everybody. This is who you are. You are and then start a rumor and then tell especially coffee industry that this is who chaired ruby is because i read an email once you know something of the sort yeah i mean i. I think it's i yeah when you don't show up like i don't go to places as much so that people don't get to actually know who i am but they see all these other people then all takes people who show up more than me and then it's true because perception's reality yeah but here's the thing. Do you think people actually think that way because i don't think that that's true. I think anybody is even and halfway. Paying attention knows that you are a good person at heart and rank care more about other people than most other people will ever like. Probably you're you're. You're probably one of the most kind people i know generally want other people to do well. I think that's like a hundred percent true and anyone who's paying attention thinks that too. I think what you have windows windows like bubble. Upset happened where people were. It seems like people aren't going against jared. I think what you have is an incredibly vocal small number of people. That's probably they don't think the industry as a whole thinks. The jared is an asshole not anybody who's met me. I don't think it ever happen. I think we recorded that podcast yet. It's like however however many thousands of people listen to the podcast. They're probably be fifteen. People who are like fuck those guys never listen again and there will be some whoa that's house brain works. I mean very funny. I mean there's a difference between thought process..

Instinct Billy was right in my face, and I was like an hackles were all up down the back like a strike. This dog was hot and I went, wow. We got a problem here in Sally's going. My god. Chris, what have I done? And I'm like, well, we need to take this dog from chairman of the board down to the mailroom really, really quick. So here's what we did. We started going back to sort of basics. We had to literally change where this dogs position was in that pack. So I had Sally go through doorways. I the dog tried to pass their ability passer going through threat door thresholds, gave her a little guttural tone, some body pressure. Either foot to get back. We started keeping Billy away from the door when people came to the door. We set up situations like that, where somebody would knock, and she would use your body pressure, and shove Billy out of the foyer with their feet, but forward body that pressure. And pretty soon Billy started realizing I'm not. The decision making process. We also started to see Billy start to relax. And when somebody came to the house, Bill, you start to get better. She also has leading Billy up on the furniture. And you know what my dog is probably on the furniture right now. But the thing is, is that some dogs that are fearful if you let them up on the furniture, they become a little bit more assertive because that's such a leadership spot elevation as we know in status, so she was letting them up on the furniture and sleep on the couch, which made him even more thinking that he was in charge. I made sure that Billy wouldn't push nudged to be pet that she would call over Billy to be pet. I made sure that often she was walking through Billy walking around him not stepping over him and saying, oh, my moving, I'll walk around you which made her more dominant in the space. I hate that we're dominant. But let's, let's face it folks either the dog's going to be in charge, or you're going to be in charge. It's not one dog one votes. No, not equality here dogs need this structure, and Billy really needed a leader. So by her being dominant in the space by walking through. Not in a mean way, but just sort of haphazardly walking through the dog Billy started to realize that Billy was not the dominant one in the space. So the other thing that we started to as you start working on some of its, and while a B doesn't make you into a leader of cooperation that can actually help. So the dog gets what it wants through obeying y-you, and usually, that's a nice juicy treat of some sort. So I've been out to visit Sally now several times since that first lesson to resort of reinforce this leadership and help Sally through this process, and it's amazing within ten days of that first lesson Billy's doing awesome. Billy is no longer getting aggressive. When people come to the house Bill is much more relaxed more reliable in having control over Billy and Billy's just overall happier pet so it's really important that again, when you adopt a pet that you teach them the rules of your household, and holding them accountable. For good behavior, and that will make them feel more secure and bonded with you, and give them a course plenty of love. That's really important. I mean, gosh that why we adopted in the first place. So I want to be really clear here, giving your dog love and affection is not that it's something that we should do to our dogs. It's just like our kids structure, and love structure in love. And if we do those things they literally walk out with a lot of security happiness. Go lucky kind of attitude and life's great for these dogs and for the children. Same exact thing. I rescued my dog Dave and he's just the most amazing dog. I, I got him out of Florida rescue down in Florida. And you know, adopting a dog I think is probably one of the best things you can do. But doing it the right way is really important. You know, this really touches my heart. Adopting a dog is probably one of the best things we can do for our souls, because it is a great feeling to take a dog from a shelter dog. That's not wanted and to bring them into your home and make him part of your family. What a very, very cool thing. You.

"Sell wanna drive? You actually wrote a two part blog wanna drive one drive or not. And this was interesting. This was triggered by a friend of yours. Peter who found a YouTube video on how to drive an eighteen speed transmission, which by the way, I can't even imagine. So it brought back memories for you of a pretty big event your grave digger in college. You. You worked with guy named Billy who had a big truck. And you wanted to what you said Dr truck like Billy's. So what this was an interesting story. What happened here the whole back story on this goes back to when I was four years old. And I was four years old. I lived across the street from construction company, and I would sit on the curb in the afternoons, and I would watch the guys come back with their trucks. And I just kind of fell in love with trucks fast forward from four years old to my teenage years. I'm working at the local cemetery. Setting up for funerals filling in after funerals, whatever and the guy who digs the graves, Billy, Billy. He also has a trucking business and hauling heavy equipment around. And so one day I got up. I was so curious to to experience that see what that was like one day. I got up the courage to ask him if I could go for a ride with one of his guys. And he said he tried to talk me out of it. And then he said, okay sure show up, you know, tomorrow at six I did. So you you showed up at six to spend the day with Michael. Yeah. And you did in fact get to ride in the truck. But then Michael kind of turn the tables on you. So what happened? Yeah. As we. So we went down to Alantic city. This was from Philadelphia went down to Atlantic City picked up machine took it up somewhere north jersey. And then we were coming back we stopped at arrest rest stop. And then we were walking back to the truck. And he. Turns to me, and he's like you wanna drive and I'm like. No, he's like you just going to come out here all day to sit in the truck. He's like come on. You wanna drive or what? So it's like. Okay. And. You know, he put me in. I got I got in. And I started driving. So pretty scary. And it's one of the white load trucks. Right. Yeah. We didn't have we didn't have a machine on at that time. Thankfully. But yeah, it says a big, you know, big semi alright. And so one of the one of the parts of this day that you described was approaching toll booth that you needed to fit this big rig through and had no choice. But to do that. Right. Yeah. I mean once once he we once we got started. He he kind of took a took a nap. So we're on the jersey turnpike. I think and we're driving down see the sign that there's a toll booth up ahead like two miles or something. So I hit him. And I'm like, I can't I can't do this. He's like what it's just a just steer between the tollbooth. You gotta stop anyway to pay them like. Okay. So those are the days before the open road tolling. So I actually had to pull in their stop at the right spot hand the money out to the toll taker and get a receipt receipt back. So it's very scary. It was very scary. So I'm I'm just wondering kind of as a conclusion of the story throughout the whole rest of your life. How many times did you see a truck like that? And and kind of say to yourself like oh my God. I drove one of those well a lot because I did when I when I started my even before I started my business, but I drove all the time L so it was actually in instructive informative. All right. So I've I've I've driven pretty much every kind of Chuck there is so I feel good about it now. Good. But at the

"Let's get to Billy Billy, welcome. No, sir. Gary I live in a home that it's about nineteen years old that was built with geothermal heat. I have two heavy black plastic pipes going through my foundation and to the front yard. I believe there are poly ethylene last spring. I noticed a small amount of moisture around one of these pipes were comes into the basement. Truthfully up dried up quickly, and I forgot about it until about ten days ago when we had a heavy snow and a start melting since then I have had a fountain about an eighth of an inch diameter under some pressure coming out of the foundation where the plastic pipe mates. The concrete. I was wondering if there was something that they have sailed around the area that has failed could be. Short of excavating down several feet to that. Is there something I could do on the interior to sail that up? So let me just start with an education thing. I so something's happened in the last twenty years, right? Yes. What's most likely to have changed was the soil? The topography. So I'm gonna take you to the very thing. We we got it that there's a pipe coming through. And there's a lot of water which is causing pressure, which is literally squirting the water through a long pipe in the foundation crack, and you know, if we're the Dutch point we put our finger in the dike great. Yes. It was stopped the water. But where's that water? Go then. There's a lot of water out there doing, you know, we've had snow. We've had rain. We've got a lot that grounds. Probably hadn't been this wet and a number of years. Right. But we got that pressure. Really? I talk a lot about the killer. Jeez killer. Jeez. Puts an excessive amount of groundwater right in that area. Where you're having a problem. Okay. 'cause we got the penetration. I've seen basement walls that hit cracks in it that don't leak. And I've seen issues like you. Have you got this little tiny tiny hole somewhere, and you you're getting water squirting through there. So the killer. Jeez. Are are are this the first is gutters? Okay. Make sure the gutters on that side of the house are clean clear free flowing, including the down spout. And then the water that goes underground. So let's just think this through if those gutters are blocked all the water on that side of the house. The vast expanse of the roof is collecting that water. Funneling it down to this area there clogged. It's gonna overflow putting even more water right on that foundation. Where the problem is if it goes down the down spout, and there's a blockage or the pipe is crushed waters going to back up, and it's gonna flood that area where the. Where the pipe it. So number one is gutters. Number two is grading in twenty years. Our grading changes. You know, we were a Cleese we had mall ch-. I don't know maybe tear out Bush's put in bushes and all of a sudden in the earth, spins and all of a sudden, we'd look and the grading doesn't slope away from the house anymore. Maybe it slopes towards the house. Maybe it's just absolutely flat. Yeah. Okay. So we need to institute some grading. Maybe we need to institute a underground French drain to as the water saturates that area it goes into the pipe. And you know, we we we lay that where it exits the water twenty thirty feet away from the house on a on a fall. Is that basically a hole in the ground that we would fill up with gravel or. No, no, no, that's dry, well or an underground or exterior sump. Well. Okay. The third killer g. And I had a French drain that I just talked about actually done in my home. Okay. The third. Let's see we go gutters. Grading. The third is groundwater. A lot of times, maybe the gradings. Okay. But we've got dips and swells and our water collectors means that soil so saturate and just kind of the way the Graham lays. Yes, ponded there. So groundwater so gutters. Grading and groundwater. I I personally wouldn't do anything until I checked. Okay. And tried to alleviate that. Okay. And to answer your question is there things to plug it in. Yeah. They're yeah. There might be you're under a lot of pressure there. There's a products called. Oh, you you've seen him in a hardware store. Water. Stop water plugged a leak stopper their hydraulic cements. You mix the powder with water. You gotta use it within like three or four minutes. You can even use it when the water squirting through. Okay. And it dries, and as it dries it expands now fits right against that pipe that might be a challenge to wondering what that actually bond with the plastic. It is right up against a. Yep. Yep. Men. Probably not so. Well, yeah. So then you would look at in a poxy injection that somebody can do for you. Okay. Where it's actually injecting in poxy in film, the little capillaries inside that wall. Bottom line. No, you still have the problem. Yeah. Okay. The the new you're taking care of the symptom. But you still have the problem. Yeah. Water's going to go somewhere in the water. Quite honestly, it might crack wall somewhere else. Powerful is going to find its way. Yes. So okay. I will look into the three days. Okay. And I thank you very much for talking to me. Very good, Billy. Thanks. Thank you. Take care. Bye. Bye. All right. Very good. Let's get to Tim, Tim. Welcome. Hey, gary. How are you? Good. Good. Quick question.
