We didn't think would have to do this because we thought the Democrats would be reasonable, but they've been That out, Molly unreasonable. They've been ridiculous. However, Democrats on Capitol Hill say the president is walking away from negotiations, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer writing instead of putting in the work to solve Americans problems, The president instead chose to stay on his luxury golf course to announce unworkable, weak and narrow policy announcements. Protests have continued in Portland, Oregon, for more than 70 nights following Memorial Day death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Commissioners of the U. S Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan told Fox's Neil Cavuto the despite claims by the Oregon governor, Federal Police are still present ready to assist despite being blamed for instigating the violence. The violence that started before we got there, the violence that continued when we were there, and the violence has continued. Even though we've shifted. Our resource is and now they just directed There. There there, violence towards the local police there. And here's the irony to this is that is that why the courthouse was being fired bar and targeted and federal police and agents were being assaulted every single night The mayor blamed us. But now that those same criminal thugs they're targeting the police doing the same thing Now, the sudden those are criminals. It's outrageous and the hypocrisy. I believe the American people see it for what it is. "bill belichick" Discussed on Get Up!
"Good morning, it is time to get up with Cam Newton. Do here what one of his old teammates said about him in Balaji is this really a marriage destined to fail plus the answer to all of problems is so simple instill it probably won't happen. We'll tell you exactly why and then today is the day golf's greatest legend back on its biggest age the first major of the year and Tiger will be on the course as we get up with you starting right now delighted to have all of you joining us and getting up early with us here Mike Greenberg in Bristol. With you for the next two hours until ten thirty eastern when I take will come your way and of course, today is the first major championship in golf in thirteen months and tiger woods will be on the course. We will get to all of that our game of the night but we begin with this fascinating story. Cam. Newton and jared stood him are listed as co starters at quarterback on the Patriots official depth Chart Kyle. Love is cams former teammate from Carolina. He also played under bellichik in New England, and he had some strong comments regarding this pairing of Cam and valujet said. This is just opinion but I don't feel like Cam can take the pressure of coaches down about his play. If he had a bad game in Carolina, the coaching staff wouldn't say much to him because they may have felt he could be a little frail about it or maybe pout. Really. Corrected to the point bill used to correct Tom. My fear is can can fit in their box because I want Cam to win. I just hope he can do that within the guidelines of what bill wants for their fears a lot to react to their and let's do it with my squad is back together, Ryan Clark Dominic Foxworth and Kimberly Martin with me here early this morning and Ryan, we'll just start with you. As you hear those comments it's fascinating can cam fit in their box what do you think? I think he can, and what's crazy is cam. Newton has always been critiqued for the person that is when he's actually never done anything bad or anything wrong. He's just been him and when you talk about a player being aware of where they are that's what Cam Newton is. Right now he understands that he was passed on when I was younger in my career I played for Greg Williams and anybody who's ever played for him. Know that he'll cuss you challenge character he'll challenge your manhood. He'll say things about you and to you that you know aren't true. that. If on the streets y'all would throw hands about but I was the third year guy who was just picked up from working at Lsu and so I stood I had to accept those things now you fast forward toward the end of my career and I walk in and Telcos has the hey today you can get on me about this play at practice because the young guys need to see you attack a veteran young guys need to see you coach me as hard as they'll be coached by you because you're in different places in your career Kayla understands. where he is and so many times we have people that WANNA weigh in on what he may not have been able to take. That was the way the Carolina Panthers chose to coach Cam Newton Bill Belichick made go a different way about it, but cam new understand where he is what he needs and what has to be done for him to get back to where he wants to be and it bill belichick coaches him in a hard way Bill Belichick puts pressure on him to be great. He understands that's what he needs. So let's not critique and talk. About what Cam may not be able to handle it? So He's in that position in has to handle it. It's really interesting because again, Kyle love is saying this not from a position of criticism, right? Dominic kissing because he wants it to work. He says, he likes Cam he wanted to work and he doesn't see that as a mix and he does specifically say that the coaching staff in Carolina they may have felt he could be a little frail about it or maybe pout that's his perspective. It doesn't mean it is the only perspective. What do you think? Nick? Wasn't on a team with Cam Newton and I never play for Bill Belichick. So love has a different perspective. However, I think that's a Ryan's point. They're all in different places. So Cam Newton built that house down in Carolina that was the house that came built was real hard to walk into a house that someone built and tell them where the put all their furniture. Entirely different situation. Going up to that mansion that Bill Bella check built up in New England Cam Newton has written a room. He's a house guest. I think he's going to be coming up with a different demeanor and he's going to behave differently. He understands his situation to suggest that Cam Newton is the same old. Cam. Newton Cam Newton doesn't understand where he is is it suggests that Cam Newton was not the one. Who just experience everyone passing on him many times it's the suggests that Cam Newton is not the same player wonder stands that he just signed for League minimum I think Cam Newton stands all that Joe bought himself be completely understand would bill belichick has a carpet. So I'd surprised if Cam Newton comes in there and he messes up and builds bill belichick gets on him a little hard if Cam Newton. Pal and say, but I'm Cam Newton. He knows that he's just renting a room in bill checks mansion right now kimberly, you're making your point earlier this morning about some of the things we've heard from cam since he signed in. New. England that sort of lend themselves to exactly what NECAS SAYING Yeah this is a really humbling experience for Cam Newton I mean the guy said I was left I felt like I was left to die to have to go from MVP type seasons to now no one believes in you feeling like everybody is written you off. This is a different cam and CAM has said we've never seen this before even cam has never seen this cam before. So I don't think anyone can say what Cam will be in New England and Bella check a shown everybody's equal if he's going to get on a six. Time Super, bowl winner and practice. Best. Believe he's going to get on Cam Newton to and camel probably take it. It's five. All right. More on. This is as the morning continues I just think it's a fascinating story because it would feel different to me if this was someone who was being critical saying, oh, can can never handle that it is at least position as someone who was a friend saying, Hey, I. Don't see this as a mix and I hope that it works out. We'll talk more about it as we go but right now. Last night from the bubble Lebron. James and the Lakers, taking on the thunder and the stars were out in attendance to at least the extent that can be a little wayne. Is there kind of third quarter Lakers down seven Lebron going to the basket? Lebron Lebron nineteen points last night on nineteen shots, and now we're going the other way and shake Alexander going to get it to Chris Paul and he's going to lay it up in good Paul would lead all scores with twenty one on the night of stay with the place on the other end Danilo Gallinari, playing the defense, and now just take a look at.

Cowboys' Prescott doesn't get deal to replace franchise tag
"Not Deal for. Prescott and the cowboys could not agree to terms on a deal that would have the quarterback between thirty three and thirty five million dollars annually with a hundred and ten million of that guaranteed. So Daf will now play this season on the thirty one point four million dollar franchise tag. He will once again on himself this season if there were reports that the two sides were close, they clearly were not close enough. WHO's more likely to regret? Not Getting a deal done deaf Prescott or the Dallas Cowboys. I'm going to say. Despite the fact that I believe is going to end up the highest paid player than Patrick Mahomes in NFL, history I Dak is going to get the money that he ultimately wanted I think he's going to be franchise tag this year franchise tag next year and then hit open free agency. But here for deck that in the in the pursuit of that money, he's going to become an athlete that I. Don't think any athlete wants to be which is your name is not your name anymore? It's not Dak. Prescott is having a Joe Johnson Joe. Johnson stopped being Joe Johnson. He started being Joe Contract because no matter how good he was, he was never going to be able to live up to that contract. And I think Jack is setting himself up to be a little bit richer than he otherwise would be. Be a guy who can never live up to that contract, and the reason I think Dallas is not gonNA regret this, even if they back on the quarterback treadmill is because the the worst thing you can have in this league. Wild does not have a quarterback. The worst thing you can have is a vastly overpaid quarterback. If you don't have a quarterback and find a new one, you can go try to find one if you have a vastly overpaid quarterback. You're just stuck and so I think Jack is going to get what he thinks he wants in this the most money in. Have ever gotten aside from Mahomes I. Think he will end up regretting it because you have a great organization, you have great skill, position guys, and if he would've just signed for Carson, Wentz plus ten percent, no one would've held it against him, and instead this contract and the negotiations around at wild. You're going to be the narrative surrounding him for years to come. See I disagree. You think that it's it's. I think the worst thing to have is a mediocre quarterback. Any shot at the super. Bowl and I'm GONNA throw to a clip of Darren Woodson in a second, but I think in our minds if it's been glossed over that, it was troy and then Tony, but there was a the drew bledsoe Weirdo error there that they were in a bad spot. If we can take a listen a Darren Woodson please hubs. In, the world when you have quarterback purgatory. Where you can. You're not good at that position. That position is holding you back from winning games, and there was a time before Tony Romo era. Where there were four years, we went five and eleven. In a week, totally struggled at that one position in in today's game that one position is means a ton means wins and losses gotta get you over the Hump in when you don't have that Clare in that position. It's a huge struggle. I'm. So. Bryan. I think this eventually gets done I. Don't know if he gets franchise again. I think that we just moved the goalposts and a long-term deals going to get done. They like each other. Dak wanted for the cowboys wanted five I. Don't think the answer is. Let's get divorced just because we can't agree. I think this eventually get works gets worked out and I. Don't think anyone has any regrets long-term. The cowboys ended up regretted. Just a bit because I think that goes out and has a very good year. This season with Mike McCarthy Mike McCarthy comes back in after winning a playoff game or two, and says we need to have Dak back now. The cowboys have to pay him that long term contract, which is going to be a little bit more than they would have had to pay him this year. Here's the question that I've always had. If if the cowboys don't love, why would they ever want to sign him to a five year deal versus the forty deal if you don't love them then? On to a four year deal, you can get rid of him quicker. Why would you want WanNa longer contract if you don't love him, and you don't know exactly what he is for your football team to me I think they know who back is they just don't WanNa, pay him because they see him as a fourth round pick. A guy that has played well in this career hasn't quite got over the Hump. I don't think they want to pay him if I'm back Prescott I, feel like I'm in a great position to meet the floor. The absolute four is thirty three to thirty five million dollar contract that you can get from some other team after the season. If things don't work out for you here in Dallas, I think a team like Jacksonville. Teams that would need a quarterback was still need a quarterback next year and would be that open market possibly if he doesn't give franchise in the floor to his contract would be that deal that he turned down this season from the cowboys.
Cam Newton's Patriots Contract Terms Include Only $550K Guaranteed
"Newton's contract with the New England Patriots contains just $550,000 in guaranteed money. There are incentives that would raise the value to 7.5 million Bill Belichick reportedly has not guaranteed Newton the team starting quarterback job at this point.
Cam Newton Rumors: Cleveland Browns Spoke to QB; New England Patriots Only Team to Make Contract Offer
"The Adam Schefter report from earlier in the week that New England was the only team to offer new in a contract in Cleveland was the only other team to even check in on him. And it just seems so strange to me that a quarterback with that type of record in that type of proven track record as a quarterback doesn't get a little bit more into any interest really around the league, would you? Put that mortar towards his perceived personality issues. I personally think that all of that is garbage that it shouldn't matter that on the field is really what should matter if he's a little quirky. Who cares? Or do you think, which also was very likely? I think scenario that it just didn't play out. The timing was bad for Newton that When the pandemic happened, and when the league basically shut down was when teams had all of these injury questions with him. Right. I think there's a lot of issues here in hand. First of all, there is a stick mount there still, and it may be just a few general managers. Maybe just one or two. I don't think I have. The league thinks he's you know a problem in the locker room. They'd be foolish to think that these guys talk to each other runaways, exactly coaches. And you know, Cam is very well respected. You've seen some of the miked up stuff. And some of the behind the scenes stuff with camp gets along great a lot of his peers not only when Carolina a swelling around the week but also ah lot in the media, too. I think it's struck me was the injury. Was just so poorly timed out from his perspective, because, you know you've got a robust quarter market. I mean, you got Tom Brady out there. You've got guys left and right, you know, making transactions for quarterbacks. To the point where your injury rehab. It's timed out just woefully bad in terms of all that market activity, and so Cam's not looking to be a backup. No speculation. He may be backing up in New England police that want to get folks I just think it times out really poorly for him this time around. So when the starting almost got eaten up in that first week or two afraid, Vincey, I honestly think it was more pin taking a step back and say, You know what? We reassess my situation. Carolina. You know, I wanted to be there, but clearly they didn't want me there. And there was a $19 million deal right there the last year that deal that I don't know Carolina or he or comfortable with, but at the same time he's now paying, you know 5 50 Base and a lot of incentive to which is remarkably low, in my opinion, got to play for Bill Belichick, and I think that's the wild card there. I'm not sure if he would play for any other teams for that amount. He sees value there. And speaking of value.
Cam Gets Signed
"Well there was big news coming last night. Courtesy of our Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen former MVP cam. Newton is a free agent. No more instead Newton is heading to new. England to join forces with bill, Belichick and follow in the footsteps of another MVP Tom Brady. And Cam Newton's cryptic fashion. He had this to say the instagram. I'm excited because I know what right now all praise to God dropping contact tomorrow. I hope you're ready Hashtag. Let's go pat. And so now we know, and we'll start with Adam Schefter, and our health hall of Famer. Steve Young One one. Just tell us how we got here. How did this deal get done? Listen I think it took Cam Newton a little bit of time to recognize that there was not a thirty plus million dollar a year job on the market when you released two weeks into the free agent signing period not only that there's not an obvious starting job that's out there, and so the longer this went on, and the less he heard from teams, and there really was nobody that he heard from the more he recognized that he had to find the right spot. And if you're going to find the right spot, there's nothing wrong with taking new. England Riga tour with Bill Belichick and Josh mcdaniels, and the new quarterbacks coach Jed fish in an offense. That obviously is going. Going to be trying to replace Tom Brady where you're competing with the guy like Jarret, Stidham hasn't proven that he can play yet in the NFL and so cam. Newton goes to New England on a one year deal where he gets to reestablishes value show that he's healthy, and over the shoulder and foot injuries that he has been dealing with the last two years, and this is the the place that he now tries to relaunch his NFL career at the age of thirty one, which should be most quarterbacks, the prime of their career, no question and Adam. How likely is it that this is in effect? A one year auditioned for Cam to be with the Patriots beyond this season. Wendy what I would say is this if Cam Newton plays well, the Patriots obviously would be interested in resigning him, and if not, they have the ability to move on from him. It depends on how the year goes. It's difficult to forecast that right now. All we know is that the Patriots signed a former. Most Valuable Player who won that award in two thousand fifteen, who has tremendous ability who goes into this offense, and now we'll have to learn it, which is not going to be an easy task in a shortened off season for put as the ability to be dominant quarterback. If he can pick up that system if he plays that way, you would think that no one would not let him out. Out, the door, but again there's a whole year. They WANNA see Newton. They WANNA see them. They want to see a year goes to. It's truly to say that just yet well. Yeah, I mean a lot can happen in a year. We've all we've all seen that in Steve. How do you like the fit between cam? Newton and what he brings on the field and the New England patriots. When healthy. Rusted Cam Newton mean it's like. Manna from heaven right I mean in many ways I, think Josh, mcdaniel and Bill Belichick sitting around a lot of times. Saying. Could you imagine what we could do with this guy or that? Guys? They play these players. Run the League, and they see them in places where I'm sure they say because they're supreme of conference. Not Hubris just supreme confidence that if we could get a hold of him what we could do with him, and we can really expend on what you're seeing around the league. What we can do is special, and so I'm sure they're saying this about. If Cam comes in his foot is okay. Because we know the arm is all right, we should. We saw that early last year before. So. We know that he's healthy. If his what is good and he can move, you've got. Hungry. Sophisticated and the type caliber Blair in New England, where you have bill and Josh saying you can't imagine what we're GonNa, do with this kid and so I think that's I. think that's the conversation. That's happening right now. New England, Steve. Look it's anybody's guess at this point, but you. You have an opinion very qualified one. What do you believe the likelihood? Is that Cam Newton? Is the Patriots Starting Quarterback Week One? Again if healthy, if he can move around, I can't imagine them with his talent level, and what they think they can do them again. It becomes a you know it's a proof point for what they're out to show their out to show that we can do special things with special players, and so it's it becomes A. A right of passage to be in New England, and that we can take somebody, and we can show you amazing things that can be done and they've done that with flair after play after player so Cam Newton and healthy can move around. I. It's GonNa be, too. It's like a gravitational force when it's to special to be able to show what they can do with a great Cam Newton. Yeah,
Cam Newton reaches deal with the New England Patriots
"In football cam Newton heading to New England the former NFL MVP has agreed to a one year deal to join bill Belichick and the New England Patriots ESPN's Dan Orlovsky says this move automatically makes the pats a contender in the AFC once again but if he's healthy this is a problem for the A. S. C. because now the patriots certainly have somebody at the quarterback position that's got experience that's got talent and any any any way that Josh McDaniels probably has never had both in the run game and a multiplicity they can do with that scheme Newton had spent the last nine years and I suppose the first nine years of his career as a Carolina
Cam Newton Signing Just Made Patriots’ Season A Whole Lot More Exciting
"Cam Newton thing in New England though this will be fun right like if if bill Belichick is anti you know don't run over to the stands don't pointed to the sky I hope you wears gold cleats to a regular season game this would be fun to see exactly what happens in New England yeah I mean I don't know it's it's been hard for me anytime this conversation comes up diva is just such a such a the term charged at home right is this Tom Brady not one all I know they know they're gonna get the no I laughed because I believe he does have a lot of Devyn him yes right I mean it let's let's let's we we've applied the phrase to so many different people and you know I tend to push back on it for a lot is Michael Jordan one we watch the last dance if what's it about team or was it on itself it was about him and he thought it was about team but he was very much very much about him yeah but about winning at all costs you know like that's and that's if you win enough then you you kind of get that so for for Newton you know I've had people writing text us and like all bell is a bell check whatever be okay with what cam Newton wears in postgame press conferences and my response is always you've seen Tom Brady right like the guy dressed as the man in black once from Westworld distraught not honor it well yeah he's got a full head to toe the funky had like who cares about any good stuff why does anybody care about any of that stuff and you know to the point that the patriots don't like got a guy like this I don't know so far all of those established in each and NFL players on the team they were tweeting about it seemed to be okay you know it's the seal phrase real recognize real a game recognize game like these guys know that that came to comply and bill Belichick knows that cam Newton comply so you know the the the deeper stuff a diva why because he took a bunch of hits we had a really bad play in the Super Bowl it still looks bad probably haunts him but I don't know if he's healthy he's really good really good if he's healthy and you know like the the fact that he wears number one so what so this tool to talk about laws now wearing number one or number one of Miami's gonna we're number one yeah he wasn't the number one pick yeah that's pretty funny coming out somebody get hung up on the uniforms are we are we mad at to offer where number one what is canon came in and asked for twelve would that be better if you can win one of you said you don't give me twelve right like I don't I just getting caught up on stuff I mean football is a sport with this you know this matters to coaches I I get it it does matter to coaches but does it really matter for results does it really matter all that matters will be whether not he can play for them it can he stay healthy can can they can he be ill have to be Superman and that offense to like because of what they've got with it yeah Hey it's just fits into it at super

Bill Belichick issues statement on passing of Don Shula
"Legend in Football Coaching Don Shula Passed away a few days back. And he was a remarkable guy. The length of time that he spent the sport Certainly warrants his hall of fame status But what's been very interesting in the last twenty four hours or so is The relationship between him and Bill Belichick was frosty. Shall we say frosty And you could see that in the comments that Bill Belichick made Bob. I Dunno using your backyard. Yeah about that. It did not escape anyone's attention that Bill Belichick's tribute to Don Shula Awas on the surface completely Appropriate from one an icon to another Was carefully worded. And it's in so far as he the two key aspects of his tribute ahead to do what he called him one of the all. I'm quoting one of the. All Time. Coaching figures in an NFL history and he was any lauded him for his. He said he was quote the standard for consistency and leadership unquote.
Will Belichick overtake Shula for most NFL coaching wins?
"UP next we've got some stuff about don Shula so yesterday morning NFL coaching great don Shula passed away at the age of ninety this legendary head coach led the seventy to dolphins the only undefeated Super Bowl winning season in NFL history and he's the league's winningest head coach with three hundred forty seven victories it is thirty three years as a head coach yet thirty one winning season so this is gonna be a two parter wonder you swiping left or right on she was the greatest coach of all time and sue are you swiping left or right on bill Belichick passing should look for the all time wins record Belichick is currently at three oh four and he's sixty eight years old hello okay this is a tough one I I think in terms of numbers wise Hey it's easy to argue sure was a great devotee estamos Wednesday I mean that that's thirty one winning seasons is is absolutely astounding number I just I don't know if I could call the greatest out of there so many of the coaches that jump to mind Adela check is one of of course he still you know active lan parties name is on the damp trophy so I think that counts for something there's been so many great coaches to identify L. history so I'm going to hesitantly swipe left on calling sure the greatest of all time I think he's on mount Rushmore but I don't know if I would call him the greatest ever and as far as Bella check goes if bill Belichick wants to break the record I think bill Belichick will break the record I that'll come down to more of a desire how long does he want to coach you know sure coasted to a pretty late age so if Belichick is able to coach to that age that's similar age range I think he does it because bill Belichick is is an astounding head coach I do think he is also a conversation for greatest coach ever so I do I'm a swipe right on a double check the bench we breaking that record the celebration is gonna stop because it's gonna be monotone as they all get out he might not even crack a smile but I do think he's going to get us on the swipe right on

It's interesting ric Bucher Brought this up that so far. It's been a little bit of a sanitized version of MJ. We haven't heard about the gambling. And the Steve Kerr punching incident the the gambling incident interesting because I mean the bottom line. Is there some stuff here? If Michael Jordan goes out and talks about gambling he's GonNa go out and talk about beating guys gambling. The problem talking about gambling. Is You gamble with somebody else. So if you If if if I didn't want to talk about My my let's say I got into a bunch of fights as a broadcaster and there was coward gets into a lot of fights. And then you asked me about the fights and that was a big tough guy. If I told you I fought it. Basically be telling you yea knocked all these guys out so I would be making them look like schmucks for a second time to talk about Jeff. Gordon talk about gambling. He's gotTa talk about who he gambled with. And is it possible? Michael's like I don't really. I don't WanNa get into my golf games in my late night. Poker Games and how much. I wonder how much I lost. I don't know maybe I'm I'm apologizing for Michael Jordan. There are things in my life. I don't want to talk about because I have to talk about them and mentioned other people and I don't WanNa drag other people into them like Steve Kerr. I talk about that. It's public. We fought he can defend himself. I always say to my when I used to take calls. I used to say don't rip another broadcaster. Who's not here to defend himself? That's not fair right. So Jerry Krause I you know. I was critical when he was living. I mean I I. He was a bad. Gm to me I don't know that makes sense. Joy Maybe if. Mj was scaled back a little on the gambling because he was gambling with people all the time. Yeah I mean there's no way to tell a story without telling somebody else's business right but I also maybe it will develop into it but I don't really feel like this is an MJ story. It's to me. This is a story about that bulls team. I mean. We're learning about each of the individual characters in that story in that Saga and MJ's obviously Michael Jordan. So it feels like an. Mj documentary is why we care so much but so far it Halley. Feel like it's all about knowing it's interesting. It's like if you're doing an activity that's illegal gambling right. Why would you WanNa talk about it? Let's say there were days that you did cocaine and could you talk about it? Well no because I did it with these teammates and this woman and I don't WanNa talk about it like if you're doing something that's illegal and people ask you about it part of the reason you don't want to discuss it is other people were involved in my really illegal habit. That part I could see Jordan. Just say I gambled whatever you find you can use. But I'm not gonNA comment on it. Yeah Not GonNa add. I'm not going to add to it which I totally get by the way. I don't know why I don't think the Patriots are tanking. I think the media's ee struggling with this. I think they're rebooting. You ever had your computer at home. And you got to reboot young plug it for like three minutes. Then you plug your computer. Do this with my phone. Probably once every other day I just turn it off. Something's not working and then I turn it back on an iphone works again. The audio works or something Jeff. How of the athletic on the Patriots potentially tanking? He's a writer. He says the idea the Patriots would take for Trevor. Lawrence doesn't hold any water now. Here is two reasons. I it's not. How CHECK WIRED. I disagree Bella. Check always does what we don't expect. He's covert secretive manipulative. Smart always has a plan and shocks us all the time. Wouldn't it shock you if he tanked? That's exactly how he's wired. He didn't draft a quarterback this draft. He didn't draft a skill. Person is draft. Didn't that surprise you. This is how he's wired doing things we don't expect. He's not predictable we. He changes his game plan every week. This is exactly I would tell Jeff. This is exactly how he's wired. He's wired by the way he's also showed over time. He is about the big picture. He's willing to experiment in September joy. What's his worst month regular season set? September willing to have short term risk and failure for long-term winning his worst month is September. That's Bella checks worst month so he is wired this way. I'm GONNA experiment do things for the greater good of the season. I mean he he took Malcolm Butler out of a super bowl. Do you think he was wired that way. If he's all about winning the second thing. Jeff how says a second in this? Traditional transitional phase ballot check with risks. Losing the locker room. You know th the great way to alienate the veterans who have trusted him over the years. Oh you mean the guys. He's gotten rid of. They're all golfing. Brady Gone Stephen. Got cousy gone. Harmon gun eight Abner Gone James Devlin. Gone Kyle Van Noy Gone Jimmy Collins Gone Ted Karras Gone Ben Watson Gone Danny Shelton God Rob Gronkowski gone. He doesn't have tailgate veterans. He's gotten rid of all of them. Outside of Stefan Gilmore who is in his prime and he loves corners and they hightower so I disagree with the premise by jeff how this is exactly how. Bella check is wired. Secretive always a plan always ahead of the league big picture over this Sunday. Big Picture season over September Sunday. Secondly there aren't veterans last year's draft in this year's draft heavy defense heavy kids. He's gotten rid of the veterans. There is no pushback. Gilmore's not pushing back. Because they pay him. He's the one Patriot they pay. And they don't pay anybody so Gilmore's and Bella Checks Cam. He's Abella Check Guy. Does Dante hightower. Who could be a coach after he quits? Playing Bella check loves it. Those are Bella Chat Guy. He doesn't care about adamant he didn't pay anything so I again. He's not a tanking. It is like Golden State. This year came into the season knowing. Claes hurt. And Katie's gone. The minute STEPH GETS HURT. They shut him down and play the young guys. They tanking whether or not trying to lose. But they're gonNA play young guys. Nobody's saying Bella checks trying to lose but he is letting go of really good veteran players and not replacing them knowing next year to a plus quarterback prospects. He just needs one summer suggesting. There's a third or fourth prospect on the horizon. We'll learn more about the next college football season but two plus his right now. So Bella checks like old inexpensive. Let's get rid of all of them. Except Gilmore who's in his prime and he's the best person in the league at his position outside of that. We're pretty much moving off everybody. One hundred million cap space next year most in the league ten picks minimum so far. I don't think it's called rebooting. It's what you do to your computer. You just unplug it. But it's I don't buy the premise. That he's wired this way. September it's been an experimental month is entire career. I'll take a loss. I'll take a gamble to be better in Christmas. That's that's how he's wired. He's a big picture. Guys always been a big picture guy and he always does what we don't expect. I don't think you can call it tanking I think. It's rebooting accumulating picks getting cap space starting over getting cheap getting younger. And that's what he's doing he just. He wants cap space draft picks and he knows that Emmy smart he knows the divisions getting better. He's not stupid he's he looks at Adam Gates and Donald now going to year to and their draft. They have a real GM now he looks at Miami. How well they played last year. How Buffalo made the playoffs. They now have stiffened digs. I mean bell checks not stupid. They're not going six and on this division they go to and four. I don't know if they match up with buffalo anymore. I really don't without Brady. I really don't so it's just the the words here tanking. It's not tanking. I don't see it is tanking. It's rebooting you know Bill Belichick. This morning knows. This is not a super bowl roster. He knows that he's he's not a dumb guy. He knows that I mean. Ask yourself this. Do they have one dynamic offensive player? I mean Julian Edelman Slot Guy that they they they they don't they don't have one dynamic offensive player. He didn't address that he built a defense defense. Really really good. He's going to build the offensive line back up so when he gets the Star quarterback and maybe it's Jarret Stidham. I don't think it is but if it is then he gets the quarterback and get the weapons in here. We go you. Everybody's caught up in tanking. This is not the Philadelphia. Seventy sixers with Sam Hanky. That's not what's going on it just unplugging the computer wait a few minutes plug it back in. Get your juice back Ben. Watson's coming up be sure to catch live editions of the heard. Weekdays at noon eastern nine. Am Pacific so next year the Patriots will have one hundred million dollars of cap space so and Bella Check has struggled drafting offensive players. They don't have an offensive pro bowler drafted since so. The last two drafts. New England has spent a lot of their draft capital on defensive players where bill is had a much higher hit rate as a personnel guy. So I look at ballot check. They're going to have a one hundred million dollars to spend. The last two drafts. Have been heavily. Reliant on defensive players plus Dante hightower and Stefan Gilmore. Are the two older players that are expensive? That he's keeping what is it telling me that New England next year is going to spend that money on offense because ballot check has struggled to draft wide receivers. He struggled with it and that built. Maybe bill saying listen. I'M GONNA have one hundred million dollars next year. I'm not great at at drafting wide receivers. It's not what I'm good at and Dante Scar. Nekia for the record could retire soon so if I had a guest this morning I'd say bill's GonNa spend money offensively next year and he'll continue drafting defensive players because it's hit rate on linebacker safeties corners and defensive linemen and edge rushers. It's pretty darn good. It's pretty darn good receivers. It's not you can't debated. I got thirty-five. He's got a bunch them in front of me. He's drafted not a lot of hits and that's with Brady. For the most part it's positive people asking for autographs. Even tipping him a group came in and I was an item on their scavenger on thing. I had to have video of them dancing with me. A man working for an HR firm wants to use him as an example of work ethic for his company approached me set on that he wanted to do a Include me in part of his video whereas employees Chandler's own boss says Chandler's work ethic is giving others a good impression of his business smallest store in terms of his ability smallest sign in line. It's very easy to miss as you drive by. And yet it's the most known as a result of Chandler's displays works it. It works folks. If you are not convinced just check out the store put a link to it on the show notes you can check it out there. That guy looks like he's playing the drums. He's going all in for hours at the time. Unbelievable now the final final action item. You can do every single week. These these eleven move. That definitely work that you can use is having employees give you unemployed testimony of what it's like to work in your office every week That is really really powerful. Jason Why is it so important to have video testimonials of your employees explaining what it's like to work there. Well it's just good to have. It's just it goes back to the video reviews. We can have as many Indian glass door reviews as possible but somebody along lines and back I don't know if I believe that. Well if you have a video I mean you know we have someone on your youtube channel that shows actual employees there. They don't have a script they just say okay. This is why I like working working. Here's what's different about it. They'd be row of the rest of the officer. You can see that they're not actors they're real people. If you type in Clay Clark employee reviews you can see what I'm talking about is so important. Horton you gather those reviews now. Bill belichick quote number eighteen. This right here is a powerful quote that somebody needs to write down Jason. What say say the less versatile you are the better? You have to be at what you do. Think about that for a second. In the context of football throughout at the years Bill Belichick has switched to a lot of different positions because of wh- injury and Jason Feerick coach. What sort of control you have have over? who gets injured or not? I mean I guess there's like a slight bit of control. Just make make your condition and trained well but you never know if somebody's GonNa take a hit wrong Ortho team just gonNA come at you. The opposing team's culture even harder so the most control you have is being able to fill that spot when somebody does get hurt so let me give some examples here for you'll get the the Patriots this year started the season with the guy at the fullback position by the name of James Devlin. Now James Devlin did not play fullback in college. fullback fullback where you basically run with the ball occasionally but more often than not you block four a guy running the ball. You make sure you're clearing a path so he's very very good good and he got hurt. So let's bring in the backup so they bring in a backup and they bring in Jacob Johnson and they're bringing Jacob Johnson and He gets hurt. It's another got their linebacker or landon. Roberts playing fullback. They're on their third straight. Gin Element is a receiver in the Patriots. He was a quarterback in college and occasionally during their offense the Patriots have him throw the ball. But he's actually used as a wide receiver. Why is that helpful Jason for the Patriots knowing that their receiver ever could also play quarterback? If need be if Tomlin's up you know break a finger or something happens. God forbid they need somebody who can still play that position there it. It is so again in your office. Do you make actionable Jason. How many people are not people in our office no how do search engine optimization and sales calls and know how to coach people a a great deal of the team Why just because let's say I get hit by a bus already? decided you know clam taken off the entire month of December. Sure I'm just you know. Christmas is the twenty fifth. Why did you start off in the call center and then move up to managing people before you could become a coach or a consultant? Well there were plenty of times where we would have people just not show. Oh up or show up late in around the corner you know you John as a call up and say hey you know how to do this job. Can you cover until the next person gets here. Absolutely then that way your bases are covered. And I'm getting paid. That's great but if you do not have a versatile team and you're a small business owner and there's only one guy in your company that knows how to do photoshop. What happens when you lose? Somebody will not only are you. Sol if they get sick or they quit butlers so brother you're also going to give them the ability to hold you hostage. People hire the website guy who wants to do. Php Oh and then he goes you or have been lying to you the whole time and you have no idea but that's because you relinquish that power by not having somebody ready or not having a source of wisdom that could you know verify now bill quote number. Nineteen he says. What what? Jason I think a good quarterback or a good linebacker a good safety. Even though you have a lot of bodies moving out there it's slows down for them and they can really see it then. There are other guys that are there other guys that it's a lot of guys moving and they don't see any don't say anything. It's like being a busy intersection. Just cars going everywhere. The guys that that can really sort it out they see the game at a slower pace and can really sort out and decipher all the movement. Which is hard but experienced certainly helps that? Yes that's powerful right there guys who can think well or the kind of people that he wants on his team now as a business coach or a consultant before anybody can become a client. They have to schedule a thirteen eighteen point assessment with meat and Jason. Why do I do all the thirteen point assessments myself? You are a very good judge of character but also oh you ask important questions and you see things differently. You look at it from the scope of somebody who has built multiple multimillion dollar businesses in. So you have a better understanding of who is going to be a good fit. Yup and I can see patterns. I'm like Oh this person would be perfect. Or here's the obvious cheek in their armor here or the five to ten things that are limiting their growth. I can see that easily because I have been in the forest out of the forest in the forest out of the forest through the forest up to the top of the mountain back down the mountain up to the top of the mountain back down to them over and over top to the to the top of the mountain the bottom through the forest and so now there's been some brush rush that's kind of grown up. There's been some lack of landscaping going on and now the path has been kinda covered. Yeah it's been kinda there's weeds growing up everywhere in that forest forest and the path has been obscured with snow and other obstructions leading up to the top of the mountain. And because I have been to the mountaintop I know which way to go. Okay even though some might not see the path anymore or maybe some have never known the path at all and it's amazing to me how how easy business can be if you have a good coach or an expert leading the way and so Jason. I thought we would do kind of a fun. A fun thing here is we. We were just released a Thanksgiving show during Thanksgiving and I thought the show went really well but I thought for a second you could share with the listeners about the growth percentages of these clients that are having growth this year so if you could just read the name of the company and their growth percentage edge that would be a beautiful thing. It's because these things work in my job as a business owner is to just kind of slow so it down and to look at Your Business from a Meta level end to see problems that are harder to see if you don't see see things from a Meta level Jason. If you're so busy in the day today reacting why is it hard to see the obvious flaws that somebody else could see when they're not in the forest what why. Why is it hard to see the forest when you're in the middle of it well because you're you're close to everything you're super surrounded by only see what's right in front of you? Meanwhile in the foreground and background there's all sorts of stuff that easier to that. Needs your attention. I also find that the emotional fog of the situation. It's like you're in that fog and if you were five hundred yards away and you could see how close to the edge of the forest. You are You wouldn't be discouraged. No not at all Buni movement going on a circle for ten years or five years or whatever and you can't see how close you are to the edge. It becomes very very discouraging. Our final notable notable quarterback. I want to hammer home today on. Today's show is Bill Belichick quote number twenty one which he's famous for saying and I think it I think think it's easy to look at it. And kinda glance over it and not realize how profound it is in really what it means but let's go ahead and read our final. The bill belichick quote of today's show. The quote number. Twenty is do your job. I think a lot of people's struggle to do their job for the following reasons one. I WANNA do my job. And I'm sick Jason. When I'm sick what do you pop some dayquil and you still beat everybody here? Okay but I want to do my job but I have one hundred and two vacation times and with a hundred and.

"A cute up here code. Aw Boston was robbed with record. Snowfall and historic flooding after a massive storm took hold of the northeast but despite the frozen conditions the players got to play. Oh man so they are walking so this is the patriots in nothing but their gear. So Glenn Patient Celtics Jalen Brown proved that the phrase no days off runs true. No days days are so why. Why is it a big thing and important thing these guys to practice outside right now and some of these guys? NFL players making millions of dollars a year. Why are they outside well in order to play and make millions millions of dollars a year? They have to be able to play when it's difficult and they're going to succeed. Where other teams don't because I mean this these guys marching through the parking lot? It's windy. There's deep snow. It looks miserable but they have to be out there. What happens to the other teams have been practicing in a dome dome? Climate controlled environment win. Snow hits during a real game. What happens to those guys? They'll be distracted. They'll lock up. They won't know how to maneuver like these guys practice on you. You don't run on snow or slippery surfaces so the exactly how to go in order to not impede their movement but even then it's like a what was the. What was the play from the podcast? We did last last week where bill turned over the ball because he wanted to kick with the wind instead of against the other team didn't even think about that. Yeah Bill Check and if you listen to some of our previous shows we've took. He kept lot of examples but bill during a critical game elected to these at. Hey I don't want the ball during overtime like you don't want the ball. He just won the coin toss. Why do you the ball? Well he wanted to have the wind at his back and that his back and sure enough when the Games online the opposing team tried to kick a field goal into the wind. They couldn't do it right in so bills teams able to March the ball down the field and kick a field goal and win the game dip. This happens all the time now. Notable number fourteen this this just in from the bill belichick notable quotable center is what When you get wet it usually means something good? What does that mean? That was a great question. What does that mean into the twelve year? Old and music don't say it. Let me tell you what it means. He likes bad weather conditions. And why does he like bad weather condition because it's hard and the other team hasn't practiced in it. Right is what you to understand. This there are so many examples of former patriots. Talking about this but bill belichick. We'll actually make the balls wet and scuff them up all the time during practice. So that when you're in a game and the balls wet it's not new but what happens if you're trying to catch a wet football for the first time in your life and you're doing it on national television. What happens like somebody's tossed a billfish out of the river just flopping around and you have no idea how to grab it okay? Let's move onto the next door to record old notable for fifteen from coach. Bill Belichick. Whatever success I've had it is because I've tried to understand the situation of the player I think the coach's duty is to avoid complicating matters? Let's go back to notable quotable number fourteen for a second. I'm asking you what can you do to make your office environment. mm-hmm it tougher than it is on the plainfield so as an example. If you have a call center why would you want to role play Jason. The frequently asked questions or customer complaints situations situations with your call center team before they have a real complaint because it gets them ready Back when I was working at the call center or the rental car call centers ars working at. I came into both of those not having prepared and it wasn't until I started working for the call center that I would have weekly times with my manager in any other trainer where you go over hard customer service issues or you'd play a call back and say okay. What did you do wrong here and it would get me prepared that way the next time somebody calls in and they're screaming as Cagney? I don't lock up. I'm able to go in with nothing but candor make them build that rapport and then diffuse the situation. But if I weren't experience with that I wouldn't be able to close that anytime. Well we have another record. We'll hear from an audio excerpt from a James Harrison. Now James Harrison played with played for Bill Belichick during his final season in the in the NFL he will be a hall of fame NFL player. He was the strongest man in the NFL during his career. He's been the majority of his career on the Miami dolphins however James Harrison has been on other teams teams throughout his career and so he's played for a lot of different coaches and that includes the bengals and he played for the just. Jackie is this is like look at this guy I mean he. He played for the Bengals. He played for the steelers. He played for the Patriots. Those arms. What the crap? And so James Harrison is being asked about what it's like to play for bill belichick versus playing for other coaches. And this is what he has to say. We'll make sure we're getting under a Tomlin online versus a ballot check like I said it's discipline. Everybody think I'm talking about you know the players are just running wild. They're doing whatever they want to do is disciplined as far as understanding of defenses the execution them even with the players. You know understanding in this being taught the same way by everybody else. It's not. I'm not saying that the team is going crazy. They don't remember they WANNA do. That's that's what I'm saying. That's the big difference that I felt when I went over to New England. Well the reason why it's such a relevant subject is because Terry Bradshaw obviously working for five doing a great rage offer them for years four time superbowl champion with Pittsburgh steelers. He did an interview a couple of days ago when he spoke out about Tomlin and he said that he wasn't a fan and that his his coaches style. He's more interested in being friends with the players than doing anything else. My attitude a simple Tomlin has won sixteen and sixty as a head coach. He's been the three F. C. Championship. The Games two Super Bowls Super Bowl title eight playoff appearances and there's eleven years as head coach of the Pittsburgh steelers. I don't think there's much the plan about other than to say. He's not bill belichick but when you hear era bradshaw saying what he said. What do you take from that like? I said everyone's entitled to her opinion. You GotTa look type of coaster he played under versus right WH- versus what he's seeing. Now I would say that you know cholera was you know another coast that was you know. He's explaining that Bill Belichick a little discipline. He has on the team translates onto Indus success on the Field Yup. So let's let's break this down to small business language. Let's talk about checklists checklists gotTa let me check all the employees. Do not like Halloween checklist. Why do employees not like what I think of checklist? This is what I think chips. They they make it work. It's a it's a sexy idea but most people think about checklist. They think about.

It's been a lot as project and and probably a hundred and fifty hours of show. Prep reading the books reading the articles researching over the years And I I want to ask the listeners for one ask can we do that. Yeah sure sure the show with one person just the share button on your podcast player. Just share the show with one person. I'm not asking you to share with two people. I'm just asking you. Who Do you know that needs to become a more effective manager and hit the old share button because I know as entrepreneurs a lot of us are kind of reclusive? We don't naturally share a lot. The stuff we don't actually go out with a whole lot of people were kind of more reclusive. So let's just share the show with one person because somebody out there in your life needs to learn how to become a better manager. It might be. You might be someone you know but sure that with them and hopefully this show will bless them as it as much as it's helped me learn all these principles over the years. "The move another example bill belichick again. He's just at a different level. He sat and coach while giving his players. First Class airline tickets. Earning the respect of the Veterans Teran's chosen sixteen support coming back from a win and they were flying on the plane and the coaches are normally first class players and coach so he went back and sat in the back. The players sit in first class as way to earn their respect. I mean he's just a different level right in every way he's outsmarts the entire. NFL now. Bill Belichick Fun factoid. Number one to the final one by the way he's been coaching since nineteen seventy five forty four years years. He doesn't go to anything until he does. "It's amazing how few people are willing to work for free to gain access to the knowledge it is. It's really kind of sad that that's why bill no so much so it's like father like son I mean he was. He observed it growing up. Now Bill Belichick Fun fact number ninety three the Patriot way. When bill was working for free he was so good good at coaching players? Players went to him. Instead of other coaches would. Bill was coaching for free. He was so good at coaching players. went to him. Instead of to the other coaches Jason please read from the bleacher report DOT COM article before the Hoodie. Bill Belichick's origin story. So this actually sounds biblical okay so to be a good coach. Bill Belichick went into the dark for hours emerged with visions of the future. He slept on office desks. He woke coaches at three. AM saying he'd seen new ways to win. Colts Defensive Defensive. Back Bruce layered told Halberstam he burns with his purpose which was football. He was so good that by the end of the training camp. That coach General Manager started slipping him twenty five dollars a week that doubled halfway through their campaign. Most importantly by seasons in instead of going to other the coaches with questions players Went directly to Belichick. He later told how them that's when he knew he could make it as a coach that throwing the game was more important or that knowing the game was more important than where he had or where he hadn't played for him. It was an epiphany halverson wrote and it was a thrilling one. Doctor Abrek at the end of the day. If you can get in the door yes you can eventually get paid if somebody came to your today. How Bill Belichick chooses to deal with reporters this comes to us via the NBC? Sports DOT COM article called Bill. BELICHICK talks his relationship with with media when reporters crossed the line. Good and read us the excerpt from this fascinating piece of literature fascinating. He is known for derailing railing reporters with quick things such as it is what it is the past is the past stats are losers. Bill does not talk to reporters who always try to dramatize things example. We're onto Cincinnati. He said to reporters this year after his patriots lost to Kansas City. By twenty-seven in week four you mentioned Incheon. Tom's at the draft a report began were onto Cincinnati. Bill Check said. Do you think have a thirty seven year old were onto Cincinnati Nice. You don't have any illegitimate could it be that. It only have sex with my wife now some would say. Are you judging me right now. If I'm if I'm having sex with someone that I'm not married to I would just say you're the chances of you having a a baby you didn't plan on is higher when you're having sex before you're married and the probability of you staying married to somebody who you only married because you had a baby with them is very low through and it turns out to be quite an issue. This bill belichick fun fact number fifty nine the Patriot way. Remember that you are managing people. CNBC rights there are a lot of things that affect what happens on the field that occur off the field bill. Belichick says players have wives and girlfriends and they all have babies and they have personal situations. They have parents that are sick. All of it runs together together. The more you and the organization can help take care of the personal situations this mood. The ship runs on the football end. Dr Brac have you. I noticed that most of the problems in a business related to people having personal problems outside of work. Have you noticed this. Yes yeah we talked about this a fair amount It's about focus and so Yeah you've got to be able to put your own personal issues aside and focus because in in my business we are here for the patient You know we're here to focus on their the issues not our own issues and so we can't be worried about our issues while at work. I try to hire people that don't have issues therefore we don't deal with issues even better the people this is. What happens Jason? Not An elephant in the room are humans. You hear issues with you. Hire somebody with. Let's say undiagnosed or undisclosed issues. Those issues will end up coming into the workplace they will. They will become your issues even though you didn't ask for them so that's why that's why Bill Belichick people with high character because when you hire someone with a lot of skill but low character craziness happens all day every day. That's why Bill Belichick gave even Tonio Brown a chance right and he made he was on the team for a week Antonio Brown just could not stay off the social media. He couldn't have enough issues. It showed up within the next day. Let them try but they gave him a week and they cut him team for a week seven days he might have made it six believable. All all right now Bill Belichick Fun factoid. Number Sixty again. What do you do with this information? Hire people with character higher character then trained skill bill belichick fun fact way number KNBR sixty Patriot Way Brady and bill together are rewriting. The Super Bowl record books. The most games played nine. The most wins six most passing touchdowns eighteen most passing yards two thousand eight hundred and thirty eight more than the next two combined most passing yards in a game five hundred and five oldest quarterback in the super bowl to win forty-one most three hundred yard passing games for her most passes without interception. Forty eight most pass completions career two hundred and fifty six sixty five point three percent. Completion percentage most passes completed in a game forty three he holds all he also holds the record for the second and fourth most as well. So what am I saying beating himself. Because you can't find competition but bill belichick went out there and win after Tom Brady when no one else wanted him. Nobody was wanting Tom. Voices drafted one hundred ninety nine the draft pick up. Yeah that's actually the next fun fact. Okay he's another ninth draft overall. And why am I saying this. I'm saying when you hire people with good character you you can teach them skills and then ride with those people stick with them. Be loyal to people that are loyal to you stick with people. Don't fire people who are doing a good job. Don't screw screw people who are doing a good job. I see a lot of we talk a lot about batum employees because eighty five percent of employees lie on resumes according to INC or seventy five percent of employees steel according to the US Chamber. However there's a lot of bad bosses true you don't want to be a bad boss of sticking with the people that got you there now bill fun factoid number dance.

Number fifty one the Patriot way bill. Belichick was traded aided the Patriots for a first round draft. Pick a lot of people. Don't know this but if you go in the show notes yeah on the show notes you can click the Fox sports article. I'll read it to you. It says the nature of how bill bill came to join. The Patriots is very interesting. In fact he was acquired by the Patriots off of the jets and the year two thousand in in exchange for a first round draft. Pick the fact that New England was E- was so eager to get bill that they were willing to trade. A first rounder. Makes you wonder how in the world they knew he would be such a success for them. Think about this for a second. Have you heard of any other coach being traded doctor. Branko what I was about to ask you if that's ever been done. And before. Or since the coach's part of the trade process I never heard of putting a link on the show notes so listeners can read the rest of the article but I'll tell you why he was traded. He was traded. Because he's such such a good manager in Dr Brek Your Businesses Rock and you've got a great team there. Dr Breath Dot Com. But what would happen if you didn't have a good manager present so many things would fall apart very quickly such as well. I mean Just the flow of our office the scheduling Billing with insurance getting paid all these things are happening so much quicker than they used to and On a larger scale and so that snowball in a negative way would would would build and get worse very quickly. JC A lot of business owners that try not to have a manager true. I would say most you went into the elephant in the room and you use to manage all three stores if you went into the elephant in the room store. Let's go with downtown Where you have thousands of members took me you know dozens of employs? What would happen or what does happen when the manager beliefs I say nothing? It's not that nothing happens when they leave it. Things typically to slow down they drift. Yeah tells don't get folded. Towels thousand folded get tools. Okay cleaned because you need a manager to help regulates the schedule of the workday because inherently people just want to show up do the bare minimum. Go home but managers there to say. Hey here's your action items here action steps. Here's when you have to get it done. And then they walk them through the execution. So here's a pro. Oh tip for you. If you're out there today you own a business hire a manager especially if you have six or more employees you gotTa have a great manager. John D. Rockefeller in the book at tighten. It discusses this but he believed that having a good manager was like the most important skill out there and plus it just helps you. It gives you time to focus on other things. What happens though? Brek what what happens. If there's somebody out there who has nine employees are ten employees and they try to just you know skip around the whole manager thing they go you you know what I know. I need a manager but I want to save money right and by the way John D.. Rockefeller says the ability to deal with people is as purchaseable a commodity as sugar or coffee and I will pay more for that ability than than for any any other under the Sun Sounds like you should pay a manager. Pretty well what happens if someone skips tips on hiring a manager. What happened and they want to manage themselves? And they don't WanNa do they have a business. They just ten employees or employees and they choose not to invest in a good manager MHM What happens. Well you definitely limiting yourself so if you're trying to be that person and you're also trying to Be The entrepreneur. Be the owner You know in my case. Be The clinician You know in your your your hand to the plow as well as trying to see the ten thousand foot view You're definitely going to be highly limited on what you can do because you can't wear every hat and you gotta figure out which hats you want to wear. Which has your best at wearing? And then where those hats but you gotta remember you can only only where the a couple of hats at best and so a manager can a good manager can definitely take two or three of those hats and wear them well. while Oh you focus on the things that make your company money and make your company better and allowed to grow this just in hire a great manager. Bill Belichick fun fact number fifty two the Patriot way bill. Belichick has built a team around him to help him minimize distractions now Jason.
