Every time I hear that song, I don't know why. Not that I remember the song with him on the sideline. I wouldn't say that, but I always just think of him and, I don't know, a decent guy. He always just came across so well, so well-spoken, so articulate. What a master of language and all that. And I always think of him. I don't know why. I, you know, it's funny. Going to so many games as a kid, I just like, the Bill's stadium, obviously that's what the song plays, but just going to games and watching them struggle for so many years and getting so excited when they'd win like eight games. Now, you know, you had the Super Bowl years. I was like one years old when that was going on. So this, like the Bill's being good. I remember a couple of years ago, that first season when Josh Allen really took off, and the COVID year actually, and I was like, I don't know what this feels like. This feels really weird. What am I to make of this? Like, they won 10, 12, 13 games? Like, what is going on here? But it is, it has been, I know they've had their ups and downs in the playoffs, but it has been an enjoyable ride. And hopefully Josh Allen can take them to the promised land with Sean McDermott this year. I, you know, I always, this is where I am an optimist, my political life now, I'm a pessimist, but in sports with the Bills, I think they have a very good chance to be good this year, tough schedule, but I think they have a great quarterback and a great chance to win. It's interesting because they were a really big Super Bowl favorite last year, like to make the Super Bowl and then to win the Super Bowl. And things did not go well, at least they ended poorly. And here I kind of entered this, the off season, which I always would joke and say, oh my gosh, I can't wait for the Bills off season. I can't wait for the Sabres off season. That's when the fun is, that's when we find out, well, we were so bad, so what kind of draft choice do we get, right? What free agents might consider Buffalo to come to and continue their professional careers? But that's not the case now. Now the actual season is the exciting part, but not being the favorites this year, I'm just hoping, knock on wood, maybe this is the secret. Don't go into the season, the overwhelming favorite. No, and I think that is a good thing. And I think there's a lot of people saying the Bills won't make the playoffs and all these other things because the conference is so hard, and that's good. I think sometimes when you're really good, and the pressure's on, you kind of crumble a little bit, I think it'll be a good thing for them to have the world saying, you guys stink again. Not that they stink, but that you're not gonna make the playoffs and whatnot. So I think that'll be good. Obviously, like we said, we're recording this on 9-11, so hopefully tomorrow when you're listening to this, they're one and O, and they look good, and there's no stress. Yep, and we actually started the podcast talking about 9-11 and how it really seemed to bring the country together. I know that the Buffalo Bills, across the country, if you're a Bills fan, it does bring us all together in kind of a common purpose. Go Bills. Bills against the New York Jets tonight, September 11th in New Jersey. Which will be emotional, I'm sure, by the way, in New York City for that one. Tremendous. That's a big one. And that was cool to be down there really. Let's jump into topic number one. Sensitive. I love that sensitive gun free zones. So our governor now thinks that pronouncing places sensitive gun free zones in a more, I guess, abundant way because that's already been out there. But she thinks that those hate filled teenagers criminals, gang members from it's going to keep them all, right? All of them from committing these heinous acts and crimes that they commit. My contention would be new, what is happening is you're taking away responsible people's right to protect themselves from the H field teenagers and criminals and gang members from those heinous acts and crimes. What do you think, Mike? What do you think about this? This idea that making pronouncements and then making all these places places that are going to be screened and you're going to be basically padded down and then making it so well known that places will become sensitive, gun free zones. Is that going to deter the gun violence that we see? I mean, it's not now, right? Schools are gun free zones. That's where mass shooters go, right? You know, churches, not that they're maybe were necessarily gone free, but that's a place of worship. People aren't bringing their guns there. That's we're shooting happens, right? I just don't know how many more times we have to see this type of thing to just, you know, common sense to go back to that word. I do think, though, you know, there's obviously places whether it be sporting events. You shouldn't be able to just bring a gun into a sporting event. Of course, right. Concerts, right? But those events, the differences, and those events you've been to bills, games you've been a concert at the Bill stadium. There are armed guards and dogs and crazy, crazy, crazy security. So that's stuff doesn't happen there. And that's an event. Right. So walking, walking down the streets of New York City is not an event going on the subways of New York City is not an event. Going into a mall is not an event, going to the food court at the mall is not an event. Events are events. Events are those massive gatherings of people assemblies of people that private most, in most cases, private companies are doing. Like let's say you and I were going to do our launch our concert events that we're going to go on tour for. We're saying, you know what? This is a private event. We get to choose how we're going to get people into our event for our own safety and for all the safety of the people attending. That's different. This is we're talking now about, oh, no, no, no. If you're just walking down the road in certain neighborhoods, we're going to make that gun free because it's near a library near a school. Like this is way, way overeating. And this is overreaching into people's everyday lives and their inclination to want to actually protect themselves. And I'm going to go back to my example though with these live events, right? That we're talking about. Let's ask ourselves a question, Kathy, and you can chime in and, you know, if you ever hear this, you can chime in and call our office and tell us. What stops people from shooting up people at a bills game? There's a lot of people there. So if you wanted to kill a lot of people, you probably could, Kathy, but there's a lot of security there, right?

If they're going to either plant evidence intentionally or they're going to come away with nothing. I'm convinced, and again, by the way, you're listening to two guys that 15, 20 years ago, ten years ago. No, I said these people were nuts. You're crazy. Right. And some of them are. Some of them go way too far, right? When they say these school shootings didn't happen, of course. We just paid big time for that. Yeah, yeah, that's 50 billion bucks. But it's too obvious at this point. It's just so obvious. Okay, January 6th, we have FBI agents that they've now tracked down and said, why were you there and why were you letting people? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. So if you don't think the goal is far enough to plan evidence. Well, that's exactly why some of these right wingers turn, by the way. Some of these right wingers, I'm convinced that they get the dirt on them, and then they pull them aside and say, hey, look, we are going to absolutely destroy your life. If you don't step aside or start to move the other way, right? Did they get Carl rove, Carl rove yesterday? And said, this morning, he came out and said, you know, I think it's time for Donald Trump to step down. So here's a mantra. This is the deep state. This is the establishment. This is the political class. This is the elitist. I don't care what you call them. It's to Kyle roves of the world as the Mitch mcconnells of the world is to Kevin McCarthy, these are the world. This is now the big government politicians, deep state elites. "She has nothing ever to do with regards to any of the scandal that is always around her. She, I mean, now you have the new deal listen. The Buffalo Bill stadium that has to get replaced. I mean, that is one thing that we are all in agreement on. But the way that you do it, where it's like the 11th hour to minute before the budget is due. And you're just going to drop it, and you're going to have your husband as the general counsel of the vendor. Of Bill stadium and not be building real firewalls in a negotiation. She shouldn't have been running point in that negotiation if her husband is the general counsel of Delaware north. But she is always completely oblivious to every scandal ever. And it is going to catch up to her fast. I mean, could you imagine Lee I own an insurance agency, right? Could you imagine if any time something went wrong, I just as the owner said, oh, I apologize about that. I didn't see it. Oh, my fault. I should have been paying attention, but I wasn't. I'd be my company would be closed, right? When we type of stuff like this with a well-known governor of New York, how can she get away with that when people like me would either be thrown in jail or my company's close down for good? "No, no, I've never wait in line for concert tickets. Never never done that. Well, not a lot of people have anymore if you're going, but even Internet even in the older days, you know, like, you know, 30 years ago, whatever. When you would like, go down to the yard and line up for never did it. Now the longest line I was ever in, was proud about an hour and a half for the Simpsons ride at Universal Studios in Florida. I believe it was universal Studios. I waited in line for an out with Jonathan and my wife. The Simpsons ride. Never doing that ever again ever, ever ever made was okay but not for 90 minutes worth. I can't even think of the longest have waited in line. I don't know. Ah, theme park somewhere. I don't know. I would never be for any food item, probably right. Uh, my line to get in the stadium just gets a 35 minutes to enter the bill Stadium. Right? OK, so that might be it for you? Yeah. Typically think of we're talking. It's a really, you know, the longest line you've waited in it. My guess is it is for tickets to something. Maybe you're one of those people like who camped out overnight for playoff tickets one time or there's a flight cancelation and you've got to get in line to go to the counter to get new Internet And sometimes those can be long. That's right. Yeah. Never had that I may have had flight cancelations. I've never waited in line playoff tickets. I've never slept overnight. I'm not sure that I ever would. I've seen sure Chef Ski Ville at Duke. But again, I'm not sure that I would actually want to pitch a tent and sleep overnight, waiting for tickets to a game. So, Yeah, it's whatever theme parks you know, Disney Universal. All that stuff where you wait in line for half hour 45 minutes. Our You know the popular roller coasters all that stuff, man. I would We have a white castle. Did you have one in Auburn? No, we have one of them. There's nothing, nothing cancel. No, I don't think it's just a downstate thing. Yeah, The closest one's got to be Albany, New York area further down. I don't know. I didn't realize that we have one of my hometown on Long Island. And honestly, White Castle was, you know the bar's open before? Not that I was out till four. But you get done it one or two. Whatever. And if there's literally there was no place open to get food, but White Castle That's when you're really hungry. That is like break glass in case of emergency. Not a big fan of the burgers never really cared for them. Yeah, they were cheap and you walk away with like a sackful. You know, you get like eight of those little squares. And you're down about three a.m.. That's the only time we would ever go to White Castle. I've got amazingly, though it's still there to this day, so it's been there. I mean, as long as I'm alive, it's been in the same spot. Closest ones appear to be in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It's like Philadelphia area, right, so that's Kind of far away. Yeah, Yeah. So you know what? Get the kids get in the car this weekend. Take a nice little what? Six hour drive to Allentown. There you go. And you can experience White Castle.
