"And all the money's coming in at the over now. On both those numbers. And that's great news. I want to talk to you about the last 96 hours of a campaign. People don't understand there's a science of this. Bill O and back in Colorado when he was governor of Colorado started the 96 hour project, that's when he named me warden of the collegiate peaks. And they had a methodical approach to the last 96 hours of the campaign, which begins tomorrow. Congressman banks, do you see that in The Rookie campaigns that they've got a 96 hour plan? Yeah, all the good ones do. Bill Owens, one of the best governors you've ever had in America, coined it right. I mean, this is when you go out and get out the vote and just get out the vote rally. I was at port Clinton Ohio last night with JD Vance and Jeremy ski, it felt like a Donald Trump rally with hundreds of their supporters. And that's the whole point, take a yard sign when you go out the door, but then go get out the vote. Go dial down into the weeds of your precincts and turn out the vote. And in an election cycle like this where we have the outpouring of grassroots support, it's making phone calls. It's knocking on doors all the way up until the point where the polls close on Tuesday evening. So the good campaigns, the sophisticated campaigns, they've got they've got this under control and it's not too late for some of the other campaigns to dial in on this and make a difference too. But you got to have the momentum on your side, the excitement and all of these races on our side, the momentum is the momentum excitement and the grassroots support clearly tilts in the Republican favor. Adam laxon has caught up in the top of the hour. He is my number one, okay, last minute contributions make him to Nevada because that's the crooked estate in the union when it comes to get out the vote. And so I want Adam to have some resources. If I was going to make a last minute contribution to the house, I'd probably give it to Juan Cisco Mani in Tucson, Arizona. Where would you send it, Jim banks? Well, again, I would send it to Jennifer root three. I mean, just a great candidate and really a neck and neck race. There are a lot of them across the board that are worth contributing to. But she's my special project for me and a great candidate. All right, let me finish by talking about the president's really insulting speech last night. First of all, there is no threat to democracy. Secondly, if he wanted to address it, he would go back to the original sin of the January 6th non committee when Nancy Pelosi vetoed you as the ranking member, Jim Jordan is a member and placed two of her handpicked Republicans. It's not really a committee. Jim banks, when the president doesn't talk about that, and when the media doesn't talk about that, they legitimize what should not be legitimate, which is the abuse of power by the speaker against the minority. Do you think that matters to anyone out there that this is all a fraud? It's just literally a fraud. Yes, it matters to so many Americans. They see it for what it is, and that's why the Democrats have a hard time addressing it because they know that there are the wrong side of history. They know that they have used the powers of the House of Representatives and when we get the gavels back and control the house in January, we have to we have to write those wrongs and we have to make sure that we repair the destruction to the institutions that the Democrats have gone out of their way to cause over the last couple of years. So I hear I hear about it everywhere that I go, Hugh, but every time that the president is on TV giving a divisive message like he did last night as a reminder to the American people that the Democrats do not care about inflation, they do not care about crime. They do not care about drugs pouring into our communities. They do not care that you're paying more at the gas pump..

"Senator from Florida chairman of the national Republican senatorial committee is here to run down the races for us and senator Scott. Let me begin by applauding you. You patiently plotted through a withering barrage of consultant criticism because if you weren't using them during the summer and now the Republicans are set to regain the majority in the United States Senate and it's because of your leadership. So thank you. You've done a great job. Are you very nice, but we've got great candidates. They run great races. You look at their debate. All of them have done a great job in their debates. And Biden's not gotten any better. And the democratic candidates have to defend the Biden policies, and they're not defensible. Let me begin by saying, I'm going to put in the win column. Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, and which content. I'm going to talk to senator Johnson a little bit. We all saw last night's meltdown by John fetterman. JD was on yesterday. He's winning comfortably in North Carolina, Ted bud's winning comfortably. Question about that. Do you believe that John fetterman's performance last night hurt Democrats everywhere? Because I do. Oh, absolutely. I think this is what they've done. They've come across as radical candidates. They've come across as half of the tribe. They can't defend Biden's policies. They try to change their policies and act like they're somehow bipartisan, middle of the road, things like that. And if everyone's just actually the least example, I mean, he took it chase the position on fracking change his position abortion changes position on crime, changes position on basically everything they ask. And so I think that's what people see it. And that one was a significant national people a lot of people watch that. And what they're seeing is a Democrat. I mean, they don't have a, they don't have, they don't have anything. There's nothing that they can brag about. I mean, how would you like to go into this campaign? As a Democrat and say, I voted for all those bad things, but I don't really believe them. And I just had to do it because Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer or Joe Biden told me I had to do it. So trust me, I won't do it again. That is it. But don't believe what are you going to believe you're lying eyes or me? And we know what their record is. Let's go to the pickups because I think you're going to have a healthy night on Tuesday, November 8th. Nevada looks to me like Adam laxalt has got that if he runs through the tape. Do you agree? Yes. All right. Georgia. He's running a great race. Adam's all disciplined, wonderful experience candidate, Nevada. No. Georgia and Herschel on yesterday. I had them on almost every other week. He does better and better and better. He gets better with every and it's just not a politician. He's not used to doing this, but he's gotten so good and Raphael Warnock has fallen apart. I think that's kind of close to lax outland in terms of a lock. What do you think? Absolutely. And you know what we've done with all of these is we've explained to the Democrats are. The last poll we did with warnick is favorable was down to 40. Think about this. Remember two years ago, he got into the general election with two to one save unsafe. We've explained who he is. And then we saw the ad with his wife's name. Basically, he's an actor. And then he's a victim people from a church, a private complex. I mean, give me a break. I mean, so we've explained to these people and they're just crashing. All right, so those are two pickups. Arizona. I'm very, very interested about Arizona because Carrie Lake is run a magnificent campaign. Meanwhile, Katie Hobbs is probably the worst democratic governor serial candidate running anywhere, not on policy, but just on ability. So Carrie Lake's going to win big in Arizona. And I think Blake masters has closed to a dead heat with Mark Kelly, am I right? Absolutely. And what we've done again is we've explained to Mark Kelly as. He runs when he's back there, like he's a moderate, he's a bipartisan guy, but he's not a 100% of the time with Chuck Schumer, does everything Joe Biden tells him to do, and we've been able to explain who he is like masters running great race. There's a lot of resources that have come in there. We've invested all along. I think Blake's going to win. I think he's running a great race, but he's running a great race and that's going to help him. Now, let's go to Colorado. I got told. I've been in out of Colorado for 23 years on KN U.S. and I know the state pretty well and I go back to Bill Owens and I just know them all and Bill Armstrong was a friend of mine when he was alive and Wayne allard and Cory Gardner. I just know the Republicans who win. Jode is going to win because Joe day is such a Colorado candidate. People don't get what college you've got to be every man in Colorado to be a Republican who wins and that's Jell-O day. I've been out there campaigning that I've been campaigning all across the country with him. Then he's got he's got a place where people come and celebrate before Broncos games. He was there as well. It's a sad fact. I mean, he's a normal guy. Yeah. He is a normal guy. And he built an amazing business and he understands normal people..

"News spaces to the streaming network and kind of reflecting the convergence between traditional TV and streaming at this point. And so now we have John Dickerson coming taking over the 7 p.m. prime time slot as the latest example of this CVS new streaming network has a 7 p.m. slot currently. So with John coming and taking over as the host anchor of that slot is it's simply now John is the anchor of that or is there anything changing in terms of the programming of that 7 p.m. slot on the streaming network? I would say to you that programming these hours, you know, they're always changing. Based on the news of the day. Not so long ago and we didn't even really have a strong prime time programming strategy, right? So we're iterating on a daily basis. And John is one part of it. And to me, it's not just about faces. We're talking about world class reporters here. And John has a source base. That's unrivaled. He has historical knowledge to bring to bear around use of the day. His interviewing skills are world class. So I would expect to see more interviews in that type of a format. And he's also, you know, he's the kind of a person who feels it is his mission. To make sense of the why. So that contextual layer in addition to the headlines is real value add. And remember, that's one part of the prime time lineup, right? So we have added 60 minutes. Bill Owens, and that team has done an incredible job with that show. They were the number one show on all of television, 7 times in the last season. Judy Tiger and 48 hours. Is now a part of that prime time show.

"Just let's roasting on and walking back in there. I'm here at inside the beltway live. It's transition time in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As many listeners longtime listeners know when Bill Owens with governor of Colorado, he named me warden of the collegiate peaks, temple at the in Minnesota made me the commissioner of hockey. I like that. And then Arnold named state sommelier of California. Governor elect Glenn young enjoyed me now. Good morning, governor elect junk and it's great to have you. Good morning, you. Thanks for having me back on your show. I always appreciate being with you. Well, I'm glad you're here because there is a position on our area, of course, in Great Britain. Known as the lord warden of the cinque ports and caper of the coast, I'm hoping you can name me the warden of the Potomac ports and keeper of the coast. And it's just a pen thing, but how about that? Can I count on that? Well, it's a new position. I'm going to have to go make sure it's authorized, but I'll give you do consideration here. Of course. Well, thank you. I'm looking for next time we'll talk about that. Warden of the Potomac ports keeper of the coast. Now, unfortunately, word has reached me. That a local radio house by the name of Larry O'Connor, who I brought up in this business and I train has applied to be the ambassador to Virginia's wine country to unit. And fortunately, I know Larry's background. And I'm here to warn you, that's a scandal waiting to happen governor. You don't want to do that. Well, you can rest assured that we're doing reference checks on everybody. We're doing a thorough job evaluating all the candidates and we'll do the work. We'll do the work on Larry O'Connor as well. Yeah, well, when you find out, look for the seal documents. I don't want to trash in publicly, but those sale records are bad. So governor, how governor, how is the transition going? In all seriousness, that's a big job. We hit the we hit the ground running following our win on November 2nd. And we've announced our transition committee, which I'm incredibly pleased with. We have a group of folks on our transition committee different than transition committees of the past. We have law enforcement. We have parents. We have small business leaders. Of course, we have experts across all the most important fields and we have some great leadership with K James and senator Steve Newman leading it. We announced our landing teams last week where we have deeply staffed teams digging into each one of the secretariat positions. And making sure we fully understand the state of play. And of course, we've been working with legislators to get ready for our first legislative session so that we can press forward with our day one game plan. I had really planned on having our secretary of education announced this week, particularly and we really have a real challenge of riches in that we have so many people that have applied for these positions that we want to make sure we're doing a real thorough job in evaluating them all. I mean, this election became a movement, a national movement. And we had such a big national spotlight on us that it's really brought out just an incredible depth of talent. And so we're going to be a little behind on our secretary of education appointment just from a timing standpoint, but caliber and the quality of the people we're selecting from is just so encouraging. And it's been like that across the entire array of secretaries that we're going to have to appoint. So I'm very pleased with where we are. We're going to have we're going to have the best team that's ever been put together in Virginia. I've spent my whole career putting together management teams. This is going to be the most important management team I've ever assembled. And so we're making sure I'm deeply engaged. I'm starting to meet people that I'm really impressed by and we'll get this done in a great fashion here. Yes, governor election in all seriousness when you were playing for rice. I was the acting director of the United States office of personnel management when president Reagan left and new president George H. W. Bush came in. And that was a Republican Republican transition, and I was overwhelmed. I never thought you would get the government done even by the time you take the office. Because it's such a, it's an enormous undertaking for the federal government. It's almost as large for a big and complicated state like Virginia. I hope you take your time on the secretary of education and the superintendent of education. Because those are going to make or break your ability to get done what you promised. And so I'm sure you know that, right? You don't have to rush. No, we don't have to rush in that we won't rush. I think one of the big mistakes is that Virginia has oftentimes and I said it during the campaign settled. And I'm not settling. We are going to have the highest caliber group, virginians deserve to soar, and that's the kind of team we're going to put together. I mean, we've had over a 150 people apply for the senior jobs in the secretary of education secretariat. Wow. They're just incredibly qualified from across the country. As I said, this movement inspired people to get engaged in Virginia. And it's brought out great talent. So I am very pleased. We're going to make sure that we are thorough and taking our time. But we'll be ready. We'll be ready to take office on January 15th. Our governor, the one thing you can't multiply the number of hours in the day. And so those two appointments, I remember Bill Bennett becoming 8 secretary and actually made Ronald Reagan's second term when he made Bennett and he was young, is age going to be a disqualifier for you? Are you going to be willing to look at people who perhaps won't have long records as long as I say, I would have, but someone who's been around maybe 40s and 30s, things like that. Will you go for the talent? You've hired a lot of people in your life at Carlisle group. Are you going to look for talent first? Absolutely. We are not focused on age. We're focused on capability and talent. And again, I have been so encouraged by the depth of experience, even from folks that haven't had long careers, but have had intense experiences. And this is what we want to build is an array of experiences across this cabinet. And as I've built management teams over my career, it is this, it is this array of experiences when you bring them together and get a margin in the same direction to deliver on low taxes in the best schools and safe communities and a thriving economy and job market, which we were sent to Richmond to build..

He's thoughts following episode two five seven which was only last week and we titled it ever if a Tear escapes it. Shows you human. That was the that was the title. Long montage was a. I know beginning is. I'm starting to sort of sometimes pick up. What somebody has said within a show and using that as a sort of a soundbite title. I've never really had a very good policy for titling. You would have thought that. I would have come up with a concept that but i haven't i kind of don't surround a bit. It's a bit free flow free form on that one part at mind anyway. We did talk about it last week. that particular show but in case you missed it Nikki happens still co-founder of remember. My baby join me on a wednesday special edition talking about the photographic charity that Well they provide free pitches dependents of of children who who sadly died before or during or after their birth and it was a really moving account from nikki. It really was because nikki has has gone through self. it's a personal experience. And one of the reasons why she. She co founded this This chelsea to help parents in similar positions but this is quite important really it was also i think equally was a call to action that particular show as nikki said they want to be able to offer this to to every single parent Who suffers this loss in the uk. And right now. They need more photographers. So even though it wasn't really positioned as an as an appeal was certainly a ton of conversation that said Help and nikki now is oh so connolly joined us see. I think it's just the standard setting. But i've got it signed up over the way i was talking about this with me. Rep reprobate from mullins. The other day on the fuji cast we were talking about. It's kind of last week and a bit more so rolled into the early part of this week as well. We talked about that sort of that idea of pressing about nine. Feeling that you're you're taking. Oh making whatever you use in your vocabulary. Picture has been quite special like plus. Of course it being a being a cost Allow you to hear when the pitches being made when we when we make them so on the show today but stafani today. We're talking with him. He swapped his full-time pro status as a photographer with working in government. And it's a it's a real step change and he's going to share. Why well photography meant then and what it means to him. Now and the and the passion that just seems to have accelerated for the art since perhaps Laying down the dollars if you like. But we'll taught very much on the level we cover some how. There's some real home truths today. it's a it's an honest chat for sure. This is the kind of thing coming up when i think that technology has called up with skilled right away so while i started as a craftsman knowing really well what i was doing and finding solutions for difficult circumstances a lot of that is gone and we have to be honest about that and so the only thing we have left us photographers is our i our vision. If i'm competing with a twenty year old with an iphone. He's always going to be cheaper than i am. So i cannot compete with that so i can only bring my vision to the table so i had to recalibrate my outlook on things a little bit and do the kind of photography that i want to be doing. Which is it doesn't really depend on on the the niche that i'm working in can be reputation chemic- portrait which are my two main things that i do can be commercial but to me. It's important that i can have my own vision to it. Because that's the only thing that can bring to the table. That's the only thing any of us can bring to the table. Yes there's still a bit of skill involved. And i can still make the difference between myself and someone who's just starting out but that gap is narrowing so fast so to meet has to be about can make authentic work can make work that proud of to put my name in the by line and i realized that i was not doing that. For maybe eighty percent of the work. That i was doing.

"And push with an everybody. It should be talking about michael fields executive director colorado rising state action. You know it's interesting because you point out in this piece April sixteenth that many colorado. And some i think this is a sentiment shared across. The nation wanted to see a return particularly in political circles to decency. Politicians start to treat each other with respect and work to find common ground wherever they can but unfortunately it begs the question as as we watch the narrative continue to implode and the ways in which our politicians particularly on a national level are treating one. Another i is that unsustainable is that sat achievable and it's so. How do we go about getting there. It's a great question. I i don't know if it's attainable given the environment that we're in right now. You talked about the national environment which is very toxic but also social media. You know you think about people who are on their calling each other names all the time and everything else. I think this is one where you try to lead by example and you know you can be strongly conservative push you know policies. You know fight on issues but not get to where you're disrespecting people and you know that's just how i was raised. You know you can disagree with somebody but you don't start name calling you. Don't go and it turns off unaffiliated voters and that's what we saw in the polling. They said we want people that will lead. Treat each other with respect if you do agree on something right if the democrats want to come and support something. That's more conservative than great Work with them. Don't just because you're on the other team We're never going to work with you. No matter what and i think they don't want that and that's why a lot of people have become unaffiliated right. They're not they're not just going democratic And they're and they're definitely You know have. We've had people that have left. The republican party years like they are frustrated with the process with how people treat each other and so just keeping that in mind As as anybody who's for office or engage in the political process we want people engaged. We want people thinking about issue. We don't want them turned off now. You mentioned These ten ideas for colorado republicans seem to gain favor particularly as noted with the On affiliated voters forty two percent of colorado and says you right choosing to be unaffiliated with a political party. but you also noted we kind of need to crystallize. We need to pare that down into two or three Ideas that can be conveyed effectively to voter so in that list of ten. What do you think are the three top concerns for voters. Yeah i think. I think there has to be an economy taxes Playing i think there has to be a education plank especially after the pandemic with people's experiences With the school system and in wanting choice in education And then i think either the transportation when we talked about or public safety if not having four and saying these are the four. Bill owens into three i think george w bush when he ran in texas had three. I think that's a good number for people to be able to grasp of what are what are republicans thinking about what are they pushing And you can have kind of know. Sub categories underneath transportation with that plan looks like etc you want voters to be able to say what this election. Republicans are for these three or four things. Anything turn anytime soon. I think you know naturally When there is a mid term you know a lot of driven by the national elections. But you have an midterm President they their party doesn't do as well i think. Republicans gains the us house because of that And i do think that you know economically. We've slipped ready. And i think we will continue to. Because of the policies democrats are pushing. And so i think there's an opportunity That doesn't mean that republicans will take that opportunity But i think it will be better. I just don't know how much in the next few years michael fields executive director colorado rising state action. Thanks so much for your insights. Your perspectives this morning. "Their lives. Eight forty five down thirteen ten. Kfi am a thirteen ten kfi k. A. dot com. Dick waddams is a republican political consultant and former state party chairman. All right Elections have consequences. This is something that we are as conservatives republicans abundantly aware out coming off of cpac president trump speaking at cpac and the question there was as the future seems to be. I won't say a chasm but a rift in the republican party. When it comes to well will. They adopt a trump ultra trump light or trump zero. And then i want to take that conversation from the national level on down to the state level because you wrote a great piece back in november about the case for colorado republican comeback and. I wonder if that's even possible. But let's start on the national level. Well there's no doubt gail that Donald trump still immensely popular With republicans and within that crowded south at cpac they they did a poll and ninety seven percents had strong approval of president trump. The most interesting number that came out of that same poll. Who do you support for the presidential nomination and twenty twenty four and he only got fifty five percent governor. Scientists have florida got the votes and others debt. What that tells me. They're not saying we don't want we don't like president trump. What they're saying. Is i think a lot of those conservatives gathered in at cpac were saying we understand that trump will continued to be a presence but we also think that maybe we need to take a look at some new people Who can express this This philosophy in two thousand twenty four And they're gonna be if trump does not run they're going to be a dozen or more strong candidates but there's no trump is still the dominant figure in the republican party. There's no doubt about it. Now as you wrote incomplete colorado page to by the way that piece is still if you want to check that out a complete colorado dot com. Just click on that page to link this back on november thirteenth twenty twenty the case for colorado republican comeback democrats have already declared colorado to be permanently and deeply blue but if there's any solace a republican could have in the election of the doddering joe biden. You know. world leaders are getting a little worried about The basement campaigning. Joe that seems to be putting a lid on it with wild. Abandon these days but if there's any solace we can take in. The election of joe biden is president. It's at the exit of president. Donald trump will potentially remove the most dominant if not the only reason democratic wins in twenty eighteen and twenty twenty expand upon that well I really do think gail that trump was the dominant factor in colorado and twenty Eighteen and twenty twenty and when when republicans really took a real bad defeats in in both elections Because a lot of these new voters who moved to colorado several several hundred thousand by the way are frankly they're not only more liberal in their outlook Than i think most tall rams but they were. They were horribly anti-trump And they saw every every republican candidate through the eyes of the prison of trump and so now with trump off the stage and he's not off the stage. Well he's no longer president what we need to find our candidates who can appeal to the new voters Because they are registered unaffiliated thing might They voted democratic. The last two elections. We need to find candidates who can transcend the republican base and an appeal to these new voters. We'll never get the win. An election again In colorado And every need to find a candidate for governor who can articulate an agenda that can attract these voters like owen fit back in one thousand nine hundred eight by the way bill. Owens is now the only republican governor to be elected in fifty years in colorado. that's which which is mind numbing. It really is but if we if we put up a candidate who cannot appeal to voters will we'll lose another gubernatorial election But i think we have a shot at twenty twenty. Two biden is going to be very unpopular. In my opinion. I think polar some of the stuff is finally going to start bringing him down a little bit and his numbers. And i think we've got a shot in twenty twenty well on that positive note at certainly. Do appreciate your taking the time. For let you go weld county wyoming. A lot of people looked at that movement and said oh boy here we go back to what was that. Twenty thirteen in the secession fifty first states movement. But it's interesting because well though governor jerry pola seems to have it out for weld county rural counties throughout the state well when the wyoming governor said. Hey well county. We'd love to have you pull escape back hands off well county where you think. That goes well by the way. I don't think that the governor police completed the sentinels. What he really meant to say hands off well county. Because i'm not done destroying it yet. He you know the orange county actually succeeding to And becoming a part of wyoming are pretty sure because it is it's horribly difficult process. But i gotta tell you i. I applaud the people who were behind this. Because they're making an important point and it's even more today than it was when the fifty first state concession. What's happening several years ago. I mean it. The the anti world anti nascar restores anti-agricultural wing of the democratic party which is practically the party now. is so i think it's such a threat to rural colorado weld county. I'm glad i'm glad those folks were initiated. The could spur the debate. I'm with you on that one. How are you going to celebrate. Meet day march twentieth. We've me. I'm going to have the big mistake. I couldn't find hamburger for lunch and and beef jerky claude republican political consultant former state party chairman. Thank you so much for your time. "Morgan times coming out with an editorial this from their editorial board the headline says it all support a rancher. Eat meat and lots of it this of course referring to the Proclamation issued by governor. Jared polas declaring march twentieth. Meet out day. Well didn't take the weld county. Commissioners long and other county commissioners following suit. I believe in logan county as well by issuing a proclamation of their very own declaring march twentieth meet in day. What is this assault on rural colorado eight thirty eight now. Thirteen ten a thirteen ten k. f. k. a. dot com northern colorado's voice mornings with gail from the auto collision specialist studios joined this morning by dick waddams a republican political consultant former state party chairman. Who ran campaigns for governor. Bill owens and us senator. Wayne allard mr waddams. It's been far too long. Gale a nice to talk to you. It has been to hog. And you as well so yeah. This is just the latest. I would say sallow. I think of it more as a scud and not a very well thought out one at that. As you had governor. Jared paula swell taken a shot and a pretty significant one at agriculture which brings in a ton of money. And then we'll get to oil and gas. But what was he thinking. I love how the administration is trying to walk it back and for me. It's kind of an epic fail. They cannot walk it back again. I mean he didn't withdraw the the proclamation. He's not he's not Repudiated his own remarks about about the efficacy of fake meat. And that people should should avoid real meat He's it's His his agriculture commissioner Had some lame comment about how they're trying to promote to colorado beasts a across the country. I say i don't believe it and It doesn't even if it doesn't it doesn't do anything to mitigate the damage they have done I do think though they have on so many issues. Dale they're playing with fire on this one because there are reports now that Some of the breed associations that Have always been in denver for the stock show right now considering staying in oklahoma city i think again off the top of my head. It was the national hereford association. If i'm not. I might not have the exact name of that group. But yeah you're absolutely right. Not sensibly didn't Governor police Basically and you know we can't get through the day without a nice juicy rationalization and justification. But didn't he say he issued this proclamation to help the national western. Oh my god he might be I gail you know i. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He'd be he was elected governor I not anymore. I mean his actions are punitive and they are always directed at rural colorado and whether it be oil and gas with her now. It's agriculture We aren't we already saw this earlier when he appointed that ellen kessler the state veterinary medicine board. Who is an anti she. She is a radical animal rights activist and she's attack to the four h. program which is meant so much to rural america not only real colorado. She is a radical and he put her on the veterinary medicine board. It just boggles the mind. It seems as though he's talking out of both sides of his mouth and we in weld county can't help but take it personally. Because well it started with oil and gas and then it went to the rather arbitrary and capricious ever-changing covert nineteen. Dial in which the weld county commissioners took a pretty firm stance on saying. Hey we're adults. We know how to do the right thing during a time of covid. Nineteen we know. All about social distancing But we also want to support our local businesses. Well that didn't sit well with the governor. So it didn't surprise anyone in weld county least of all the weld county commissioners who have been in its crosshairs for quite some time When he came out with this meat out today. I mean it's starting to punitive to me. Dale there are there are policy differences On these issues but it is starting to look to me that this is politically punitive on his part. I mean everyone of his major policies. He's things like rural. Colorado is in the crosshairs. I mean you oil and gas now agriculture What what else. He destroy That in the comments read with the areas that are most affected by this are Are the fact that they have voted very heavily. Republican weld county in rural colorado or still. There's still voting very republican and it. I beginning to believe that this is. This is a conscious strategy to try to destroy the parts of colorado. That didn't vote for him or other. Democrats these if you election cycles. I didn't have that. I did not think that before but This latest Attack has led me to believe that well in from an economics perspective. It makes no sense whatsoever when you have you know along with tourism you've got oil and gas you've you've got agriculture of primary drivers of the state's economy. What is he thinking and does he understand that. Well there's a lot of folks particularly in agriculture. Taking a hard look at november. Eight twenty twenty two because that's general election day in colorado and well governor police you're on the palate. Well he's under a he he he's not going to win. Walton county a rural colorado. But he frankly. I don't think he cares but the what he what he was. Totally underestimating. is that these. Actions will take a toll on him in denver metro area for instance because there are going to is going to be or problems. Downtown denver with Oil companies. Who are putting Office space up for that. They're going to be fewer workers downtown. Already gonna see a change in how companies overall Operate their offices. I if the i think denver the nationalist and stock show is in the is strengthened by what he's doing because arnold breed associations collectively decide to not come to denver and to stay in oklahoma city that will undercut the national western star. Show well that affects hundreds of thousands of people in the denver. Metro area I under i think pull us and people can The very liberal democrats. Don't think there's any relevancy to their lives in colorado Or or in weld county. They really don't but i think they're going to find out that these actions are relevant to.

Meet Bill Owens, the Black Preacher Spreading the MAGA Gospel

"President trump met with some black pastors governor had the White House while these attacks on representative Elijah Cummings continuing obviously there's been a lot of push back at the president as well from al Sharpton who we spoke about earlier and other Democrats obviously many in the media I found this interesting so the pastor omens who is somebody who's met with the president four times in the last five months all rights pastor bill owns full name so he was at the White House yesterday and was talking about how he's hoping to improve things in Cummings district but wants to get the president's help in doing so in other words he wants to help the children there you obviously wants to help people living in poverty among all these rats and everything he seems like a good person who's just looking for solutions so he goes on CNN last night to speak with don lemon and the interview is almost suspicious that ones could actually as an African American pastor even think of speaking to the president let alone look for support in terms of looking for solutions I wanna play a sound bite for in in and get your response did anybody to raise concerns about what he's been saying lately about of people like Alliser Cummings or anyone well that was not the purpose of the meeting today that the day that meeting was how can we help the black community that is my concern that was the purpose of the meeting that is the reason I came to Washington and that is my focus helping out in the city young people especially our children are young people the president tweeted today that he was looking forward to his meeting with wonderful inner city pastors any concern for you that the president use this meeting with black leaders to insulate himself from that criticism I don't think so I don't I don't think that all because I've been to the White House four times in five months so it was nothing about insulating him from anything he wanted to hear from us what I concerns were and what he could
