"Number two if I keep the tub is re finishing with wall panels to replace the old tiles a good look bill in Gilbert resale value I'm gonna say that's a pretty small factor here I don't think you would lose a sale to a home to a family member if their location was right at times not going to be a factor in what the realtors are telling me is that the tubs really only a factor in infants and very small kids but even once the kids are five or six or seven right they all just take showers anyway and and in an infant stage you're not putting them in a tub you're doing them in the sink hello there it's it's very seldom that you're getting to a you know and at the two three four year old it it's a little bit later where they're walking agent you're doing a minute tub and its billing Gilbert it is well bill I can tell you you are to do what's right for your family take a good look at how long you're going to be in a home I was just visiting with some homeowners just this week wanted to read you three bathrooms but they know they're only going to be in the house another three to five years and I said okay that kind of helps us set some goals on where to spend the money because when the house is listed that second bathroom upstairs is it going to have a big impact on your sales price but this guest bathroom downstairs and your master bath maybe we just put lipstick on that second bathroom upstairs but let's do some elegantly nice things in the master bath in the guest best downstairs so bill I can tell you the bathroom shower question is a never ending question that doesn't have a right answer but the question about sending panels over the top of your tile or lining the tub with the new liner without having to tear everything out that's a very very viable option with manufacturers in town that offer twenty year guarantees on the material that have introduced new looks they're actually quite handsome but no this there are other manufacturers of that product they're doing jobs without building permits and are giving the warranty issue and art is prone to remedy chronic problems so that in that world of bath tub liners and wall panels they go over the top of your existing tile or existing cultured marble just know this like in every other part of contracting there are good guys and there are bad but guys if the people you're talking to or talking about pulling a permit then you're not talking to the right people now I can't find us online yet so I'm I'm here you're next I'm not gonna say million dollar idea but I think somebody can make a few Bucks with this picture this you get rid of the tub you put in a shower you've got a low two three inch lip you gotta step over to get into your top we're gonna make an extension it's going to go on there and it's going to seal the weight of the waters even gonna help push it against the ceiling make it waterproof and it's just gonna be an insert you can add end to create a tub a shower to a tub it's just gonna be a little six gigabyte an eight inch flip you combine a twelve inch lift you can buy it in eighteen inch LED however deep you wanted that tub you just put a little insert it would take a little bit of you know waterproofing line and the more water he added that the more weight pushes against it making it even more waterproof not unlike the sit in tubs that they've right come up with the new life it would be similar to that so if it hasn't been invented yet there's an idea for somebody and we'll put that once we get a Rosie on the house manufacturing plant Kerry going to add that to our product lists on this is being done right now I tell you know at at Rosie right remodeling we are removing a lot more tubs yeah we are refinishing now I'm third bathroom if you've got three maybe a tub you live there so you have one but there are very very few families anymore asking to keep the tub there virtually all going to show I got a question bills bathroom panels that they that he's talking about yeah are they resistant to mole yeah yeah there the one hundred percent acrylic are completely inorganic there's nothing there that can and do it in can motivate mold to start so I'm very easy to clean no grout joints with pores to get settled in the roots of the mold so I'm I'm a big fan on I can remember as a kid in the first place we ever saw that was that while we marina and like pal and my mom the mother of seven look at does one piece shower battles as holy cow of I get a bottle one day knowing that I wish I could invented those good you could literally dismount the shower head on the end of the hose and clean the whole thing with one big wash down and a little brush and no grout and no call joints it I'm a big fan of the text continue to flow in we've got chip in Chandler we've got my commerical pull we're gonna hit choice and Gilbert next I have a nineteen eighty three HVAC system that just went out thirty six years old you got your money's worth I don't know how to size the unit on the roof and what size I should have my new air conditioning I don't want to get this damn I'm a senior single woman and I need your help thanks well first tip don't tell a new body your single when you get the proposal done you say thank you very much I'll talk it over with my husband when he gets home and we'll follow up once we've made our decision don't ever tell anybody you're single senior citizen the wrong person just sees that as an opportunity to do exactly what you don't want and that's to take advantage of you and scams so step number one don't ever tell anybody you're single second if you're using a rosy certified partner you won't have to worry about that these are guys that we would send to our grandparents on that the same people that do work on our homes they've been vetted licensed bonded insurance insured and in business at least five years in fact the average that they used the newest HVAC company on our network is fifteen years old the one that's been business along is a sixty five years old these guys have been around for a long time there's a reason for that a some other do offer discounts for senior citizens some ten some fifteen percent and then just get a couple estimates and they should do a low calculator to determine the correct size of HVAC equipment because it's not a standard one size fits all.

"I've spoken to off stage will tell me the most foul joke in the world. And then I'll say, hey, can your Pete, some of those jokes and the lack like they, they don't know what you're talking about. Marty Allen did that to us on this show, really told us the filthiest, most wonderful jokes and then Gilbert, tried to get them to do it on Mike. And he wouldn't bite. Yeah. Here he is. He's like one hundred but he's protecting his him it. Well he was still performing. That is crazy. Let's talk about another thing you guys have been doing together or not, not too long ago. Gilbert, guested on a show on comedy central. The hilarious. Bumping mike. Mike's on Netflix. That was me. Gilbert. Bill Gilbert, introduced us David L, and I go on stage together, and we do to men. Act. I don't even know if it's an act it's, it's a show. It's a hang out. It's party. And we invite our friends and I ask Gobert to come by and next thing I know I show up at the venue Gilbert's already on stage reducing us. Nice work. If you like sizzling va giant. Funniest comedy team since I get Tina terrorist great. And then and then Gilbert stayed for the whole show, and, and it was just a treat because as much as I love Gilbert, David tells obsessed with you. It would be great, if we had asked Dave attell Tecom. Yeah. Pumping Mike Swiss show, much fun, being Vegas, June, seventh and eighth you and Dave, we're going to be at Harris. So Cal the week after that over at the Morongo casino in a couple of weeks. So this is the most fun I've ever had on stage. All roasts aside, when Davis around it's like one plus together what happened. Somebody just came as he really. I think he really is my favorite comedian. Everybody that Dave attell is here. Ladies, how did he happen to find the place? The podcast Dave sleeps under the table close to that. Mike, would you? Thanks, buddy. Wow. Great to see a parter. Yeah. I was outside. I was now it was a while before I came in here what you guys reading the mullahs report. While the nodding. And, and you're right. And I don't know. And. Yeah. Serious in here about bumping Mike's. Yes. And I was talking to before about your wonderful line about Gilbert, which was that you said, Gilbert, have you ever gone down on a on a live woman? Give your collection. Taking poetic license with that one. Gilbert, and I think Jeff will back me up on this. When Jeff together, it's good when Gilbert, was there, went to another level Gilbert, completed us, I think tanks in terms of mice could be he really did. He's the third like the triad. He's the third spoke and he really is that good. You're like what, what Joe Walsh joined the eagles, while Gilbert, the had a little more kick to a really, really a rock and roll from country and western ruck? Shit. Yeah. So anyway, we wanna make your partner Gilbert. Yes. Pay merch. Selling merch on the road everyone. It's a whole new experience for us. That's page out of his book bumping, Mike sept- pin. I'm sure Mike with your own partner, who would be. Oh, that's good. Oh, I. I, I have say, Tim Conway, when I heard about that I was like that is the set. I wonder if Gilbert ever had him on the show. Did you ever have tried? We tried. It wasn't a health. We tried. Yeah. So how about you? And Tim Conway. Keep up with me as a master. Did you walk in here, wearing bumping, Mike Smerch? Cap. So it's already out. Available. It's a it's available on Netflix. Drew Dave made thirty hats. Yeah. Gave when a Gilbert, I, I, I will say this that since we jevon. I really we're into being the fans. We know there's a lot of comedy fans that come to the show both the live performance when we taped and that, you know, at the end of the show. Now when we stand out there and we're hawking the merge. It's another experience. Because it's great to see these people. They don't only like us. They like a lot of comics, and that's really what I think, is a comedy fan like when they have like a basically, like a top ten or like you know, you know who I wish I could see and you know, I heard the podcast about Mitch Hedberg or other like guys who are no longer with us. And I was like, that's cool. You know, and I love that, that's our fan base. And it always great. When someone will say to you, you know my favorite comic. So you and I'll name like two or three others, and you go, wow. Those are great comedy category with that. Sometimes the only two they can think of. You are my favorite captor would comic would Charlie Chaplin. And. Love vote of laughter. And I wear in Atlantic City, and I was trying to get you. I was telling Darah like we gotta get you to come down to this, but you were on the road as well in Canada. I believe for Memorial Day, which is awesome. I guess I don't know why you have like a different road than we do. Or what do you do? You're on the road a lot. I go. Now, it's like they say, we'll pay here and I go just go. Yeah, 'cause I didn't know mega bus went to camp. From that dot Jeff. Did you see the documentary in it? Yes. Of course. Yeah. Well, he is getting on a mega bus. And it was like one of the saddest those. True things about comedy. He's got a way too big a bag for the amount of time he's going to be on the road, like you're gonna be two days. Maybe three days this gigantic bag, like you're like you're an oath pair. And you're moving into someone's Brownstone for the summer. Big and said. Bill Burr, says, doc, what the fuck is he doing on the bus. Don't recognize that Gilbert Godfrey your care buses. Also says, John Madden. He also says an documentary goes at this people going, gee, I use the beds Kilmer Koch words. Mice come together as a concept was at exit dental question, Jeff has it was not accidental as much as improvised, who's just an improvised fund way to get our Yaas out late at night, they would have a spot, or I would have a spot more often than not I'd go right from the airport. Land back home in New York, run by the comedy cellar, because I was hungry or lonely. I'd go watch Dave and, and they would just bring me up, and we started like sort of bumping it out. I would have a do joke to try out every once in a while David always have a new joke to try out. And next thing we knew I was begging him to come up to Montreal actually did a couple toward aids with a stop in Vegas wanted to go on the road. But Jeff, it's really like the whole, I guess, you could say the reason why I went to TV would be because Jeff because Jeff took what was just kind of fun like blow off thing that we would do. And he said, you know, this is definitely. Show. And I believe in it. So it's really everything from the branding the naming of the show to, like, bring it Netflixing all Jeff. I'm just the other guy who was there when it comes to all that stuff. Because I really do think that, like, you know, we were lucky to capture the kind of the fun of like anything can happen because really that was like, what was so good about the seller experiences that it's late people already seen about eight ax. And I always go on late for years. They're like I just go on late and it used to be because I was, you know, like kind of the worst guy there and they would throw you on at the end. Now it's more about like you know, I got a lot of errands to run. And then I need a nap, then I'm going to go down on the old guy. And moving all week. Movie years. And the and the and the best part, is that, you know, they're always cool with gliding us do whatever we want, and I think that the charm of that places that you never know who's gonna drop by, and you'll never know what's going to happen, whether it's a conversation on stage or like just working with the audience that it's kind of built for that. It's a small tiny room and Gilbert, is another good example of, like, you know, I don't know if you know this, but, like his fearlessness is really what like I love about his thing on the bumping, Mike, is that, like, you know, Jeff doesn't have a filter, you don't have a filter. So it's really great to see you guys really open up on these young crowds, especially like it kind of must blow them away. You know. Yeah. I'm sure we think can happen at our shows, even to sixth and seventh at the Mirage. Yes. What we're hoping to happen would be some soldout shows that will be great anything can happen at our show, especially when they're at the Morongo. Talent in fifteen that Morongo. That sounds like a great like you know, then there was the Morongo. I will say anything can happen Tober fourth and fifth at the paramount theatre. Yes. Hometown. That's a great venue. We play jersey. That's just that's Jeff's hood, but we're gonna play a Long Island Gilbert, you should come to that show. I'm throwing it out right now. You should open for us in Huntington. What do you think are taking a pay cut? How to get there mega bucks owing? We were speaking about merchandise view or an I remember when you came and did the podcasts in my house, you gave me a bunch of hats and t shirt, right? And then you bought a bunch of t-shirts for me. Yeah. Well, it was Christmas time Gilbert, head just David either strike Ganic favors brought over. Wait. A bunch of bumping mikes, you know stuff and, and I went on my Gilbert, the website of thirty t shirts for my friends. All right. Nice. Very. Cherish. Those t shirts, this is the one with. Cousin Aaron uses his to wash his car. Jimmy Kimmel I gave him one. He uses it to. In with Gilbert's face on it. Yeah. Recent one, you guys remember seeing Gilbert for the first time, unfortunately, yes. Up close. Yeah. Let's see that must've been like five haircuts ago. More way. You'll still walked to Chinatown to get the five dollar haircuts. Okay. Good. Gave me a segue. I heard that your Chinese name is you again. Sorry, these times with tariffs and all the best we can do with these tariffs..

"Some sort of New York, detective and is on every bus every billboarded, New York. And we had a roast forum you know, he's a fryer, and it made sense, and all his friends and family were there. And I said something like, you know. Danny Aiello is acting as so over the top that show should be called ace, Stella venture. You know, the show just about none of us had seen it. So we were just kind of joking that it was bad. But then the bells when a Richard bells went up with the actual New York Post and daily news review, rip them that daddy, obviously, had not read that more as a great day. Arose only lunchtime. Oh fuck. And you know and and bills just verbatim. Read the reviews and daddy's hearing them for the first time. Oh man. That was that was it? That was it that Danny made his speech in something hit him. He got very emotional. He says it was he was thinking about a stat, and how his dad was missing this amazing day, but only think it was the reviews I used to hide in the back of the room and scroll those jokes down on a piece of paper, even though I wasn't supposed to because I, I knew that I would not see the tape and I would forget them, right? And like we've talked about it on this show bells or bells are talking about Freddie Roman. Oh, yeah. Wonderful line. Remember it Jack ruby had a longer TV career. I used to when you were up there, and I used to scrawl a little piece of paper and I hope nobody would see me, but I said, these are going to get lost if I don't write them down. And remember them, they were that good. It's funny. I mean, I remember watching the roast when I was a kid, and those were always very homogenize and thin. You'd hear about the fees skies. These old guys like Jack Benny and stuff act, the actual friars rose. Oh, yeah. And how just fouled and -fensive. They were. Right. And that was the appeal. Right. You got to see Milton Berle horse, say the seaward and the F word got a stuff where you would never see that on Texaco star theater. The NBC rose were in part to promote NBC shows and NBC alad. So that's why you had red FOX lewanda page and yeah. All of these people would come in. They were they were network friendly. And it was always funny. When you fade be roasting Orson Welles. And like Gary Coleman would. What is the connection? Yeah. Do you ever have the jimmer have some of the old comics give you a hard time for work in blue? Yes. Yes. That happens, right? Yeah. And it's so funny and I've talked about it here because there have been comics who I've spoken to off stage will tell me the most foul joke in the world. And then I'll say, hey, can you repeat some of those jokes and the like, like they, they don't know what you're talking about. Marty allen. Did that to us on this show really told us the filthiest most wonderful jokes and then Gilbert, tried to get him to do it on Mike? And he wouldn't bite. Yeah. Here he is. "Separate deal at our k over three pictures only ended up making one because room service didn't do that. Well, and then mayor got nervous when they signed with our KO for big money, and he signed him to three picture deal before room service, even came out, but thal Berg was the reason they were there when Faubourg was gone. They were gone. Did I step on you too much? I wanted you to take it away because I didn't know what the hell I was gonna say. Next in order Why here, here not not make. make the you know, that history, I also found it interesting that you were a little sad that you couldn't use EPO. You were you were you were being faithful to the period, s and pusher. Zippo fan. I think all of us are. And actually, at the last minute there is like five days left before the, the book had to be. Frozen in time. And I said, I'm outings, EPO in, and I'm adding a reference to MRs Rittenhouse in, because I was like, oh my God, there's no reference, and there's no. And, and the thing is, is that in theory this, the idea of this movie is that this is a prequel to all the Marx brothers movie. So in theory, this is like this is my George Lucas going back, you know, thing, so because I wanted to have a clean fresh start. I didn't want there to be these others. This is the first story and I figured that would actually help because I it would make it okay for me to put in some references to some of their other movies without it being me stealing from those movies, because really those movies were stealing from me. You know, because this happened before those it. That'll hold up in court. My loving, take and Harpo is playing like a Spanish, that's what throws you right away. It's not Harpo Harpo playing Harpo character. Please. Don't ask me about this part. I have no idea what I did. You're waiting to see Harpo and in a week in a beeping the horn and the big coat. And instead he's like a Spanish diplomat. Well, he's not technically Harpo at first, this is an origin. This is the order. This is the origin story of how Harpo became Harpo and how the surrealist woman became this, the first surrealist superhero, this is a graphic novel, so you have to have origins store absolutely in in. Sorry. Bill. The, the book is masterfully of an artfully done by some ladies correct. Manuela, partake in Barcelona Spain. She really captures Dolly. She's certainly does. And the same thing can be said for lay out of Roberts, most recent Duboc of it right in front of me. For the three musketeers. It is a phenomenal book. It is, if you're Marx brothers fan, and even if you're not I've read it twice before we jump off on this as long as we've got Bill on the phone, and we brought zippo up. Yeah. And we'll come back to the we'll come back to the various books, but, but Bill Gilbert, and I, and I assume the two gentlemen, sitting here with us are of the opinion that, that the Marx brothers, pictures are better with zippo in them. And I would love your take. I think people would be interested to hear. When okay versus. That the Mark March for Paramount Pictures were funnier straight through they were really kind of more the Marx brothers, and when they went over to MGM fell Berg saw them as headliners that they should have been, and he made motion pictures were intermittently they were absolutely hilarious. They brought in a love interest long within in a more complete of fun for the whole family type of concept for them. My I, I still think that probably night at the opera is the best picture that they made it's not my favorite my favorite in and hold onto your hats. I know what you're gonna say. What go ahead? You're going to say your favorite picture is go west. Yes. But we forgive you. That. I think I think I want to hang up on you. I'm sorry..

And they, they went ahead and did it anyway. And you could tell grou- shows energy wasn't there and chick is, is energy was long gone by, then I feel dead carried that picture. And he was so wonderful in it. And maybe that's just because I'm son and, and I look for little things at the dinner table, or when he's practicing the heart, but when he's playing the harp I looked at a at him in that picture is pure, dad. I didn't see him as our sweet. And, and that's why it's my favorite picture, but far away, not as good as others. Wonderful Harpo picture and stuff. They didn't they're staged or four in really is the best stuff in the film that opening sequence in the station is really, it's incredible Marx brothers..

Because what really happened is Harpo managed to get a meeting a meeting with Louis b Mayer. Yes, and mayor didn't feel very kindly wasn't a big March purse ES, one of the little known things is that the Marx brothers weren't actually signed to MGM mayor and want them. They had a contract with thal Burg to work at MGM in. What was then like the Thalberg production unit, and the reason the Marx brothers really left MGM after day at the races because they had a clause in the contract that fall Berg was unavailable for thirty days or something they could terminate the contract. Well, he was dead. So he was unavailable for thirty days. They are the actually re-signed with them. Absolutely in in. Sorry. Bill. The the book is masterfully of an artfully done by some ladies. Correct, Manuela pretaped Barcelona Spain, she really captures Dolly. She's certainly does. And the same thing can be said for lay out of Roberts. Most recent of the book of it right in front of me. For the three musketeers. It is a phenomenal book if you're Marx brothers fan. And even if you're not I've read it twice before we jump off on this as long as we've got Bill on the phone, and we brought zippo up. Yeah. And we'll come back to the we'll come back to the various books, but but Bill Gilbert, and I and I assume the two gentlemen, sitting here with us are of the opinion that that the Marsh brothers pictures are better with zippo in them. And I would love your take. I think people would be interested to hear. Okay. Versus the three that the Mark March. Not to see a fight. We can go fight somewhere else. Not here. Good luck. Trying to elevate. The discussion in that brouhaha last night man on the topic of the economy funding. Trillo said Raimondo is trying to take credit for national trends on school performance. Ramon dough highlighted problems at Cranston high school east while funk shot back about the shortcomings of community college of Rhode Island and Roma Romando backed promise program, the two years of on the house tuition. They're so sparks fly. I think that's a. I go a little more aggressive than that sparks flying between Raimondo and fun one more time in the debate. I'm learning I'm learning go out and learn and come back later, Joe Trillo. I don't know if you get into the best to singer of the night. Allan fung. I thought he was doing pretty well in this thing, you know, my opinion. But then when they was talking about legalization of marijuana headline. I think he had a Zinger in his hip pocket that he felt that he wanted to us. And he said, I think Joe Trillo could use a joint or something like that. And it just it it fell flat. Maybe we'll hear that a little bit later on. I don't know. I don't know if I want to hear any of it for the rest of the morning to be honest with you. But we gotta do it. Sometimes if you're that get for Mexican foods, I'm not a huge hassle role casseroles again, that kind of like I think it's called frito pie is another one. It's like Fredo and chillier cheese. Usually some sour cream involved as savory pie. Yeah, no, honestly, Fredo other flavors of Fritos or I think there is. I think there's a spicy. I'll be honest like, I just know that they're, they're, I've gone over them, but we'll, hey, will go, quality controls. We go Bill Bill Gilbert Bill though, who six like that and do what's your favorite pasta recipe might favorite pasta recipe and if you're not comfortable with any of these for? Yeah, yeah. How about shrimp Scampi that that's going to be safe? Where is that also the answer? Yes, it is. I love. I love a proper shrimp Scampi how to do it. It's all about the vermouth kids. That's the difference. Tuna shrimp pasta and Scampi is you've got to add that vermouth the end there off though. Right? Yes, of course, of course. And you know, like a shrimp pasta like shrimp pasta when you you can smell Scampi. It smells different. Even though it's all the same elements and about the vermouth awhile. I just realized something I was like, that's interesting that the us alcohol to cook a pasta. I don't think that's common. And then I was like, what other pastas might use alcohol? And then I thought if penny Allah vodka. Headey vodka. Yes. The vodkas involved. Most most like proper like in places will put red wine in the sauce and the red and your ear to cook an off the alcohol like it. It's not going to get you drunk. All right kids like, you know, you can have a lot of penny alva- you know, Yankee to get lifted just like those little chocolate cordial. Yes. Remember those? Yes. Of course. My parents would give them as gifts and I would steal. I would cut off the tops would scissor. And then just, no, I would pour them into one glass and I would get like maybe a quarter of a shot out of it. Nice of every kind of gross like, yes, Likud mix together with like chocolate flakes. All gold schlager. I'm going to go the fettuccini Alfredo. See, I like that yet, but also it's the difference chain, like what you like to eat, which you know what, I'll take it back though. You know what I like to cook the best is there's like the nests of angel hair the pasta. Okay. Come in like the little Baggies. They're basically a nest of really thin pasta almost. No. I don't know the talian equivalent of leg the tie vermicelli noodles. Okay. Thin almost Romney, yes. Yeah, down with that. Yeah. Yeah. No..
