"Steve Michaels Talk radio 77. W. ABC, The best of Bernie and sit in the morning passed off. That's a global lot of good stuff. Here he is. Everybody is Thursday morning appearance. The great Bill O Reilly, Hello, Bill, Big Bill Dennis Yost and classics for everyone Stormy, You know, I went out on a date. One of these six days I had as a teenager. I wasn't exactly a magnet here and that was on the radio and I remember and I looked at the woman and she said Take me home. Oh, Uh um yeah game last night. And it was an interesting thing. Um, because the Giants the San Francisco Giants 40 games over 500. They felt sorry for the Mets. And they said, Look, we want you to win the game Mets we want so we're going to drop balls. We're going to do stupid stuff on the basis. We're going to do a lot. And the Mets said No, we don't want to win. So we're going to drop more balls and do more stupid stuff on the basis and the Giants won and then pull up pictures. You know, you know what? We are very quick, deservedly so to criticize the president Joe Biden. He makes decisions for the country and he started a really terrible job the first eight months. And we talk about impeaching him. Court martialing him getting rid of them. You know, the guy that makes those decisions for the Mets is Luis Rojas. And there was a bigger yell everyday. Locally, Bill for the midst of fire him. Therefore, games under 500. What do you thoughts on that food Last night? I look, I think he's in over his head. Um, well, not many people know this. But Biden was managing the Mets last night. Yeah, you know, nobody really knew because he fell asleep in the dugout like Casey Stengel used to do when he managed the meds way back in the sixties. Um, but anyway, I feel bad for RoHaas because Um, He's a new manager, and he didn't have any experience. But a team like this needs a Tony LaRussa. They need an old kind of guy comes in and kicks some serious Jewish Because these guys are just absolutely my son had a great line he goes. You know, if I were the opposing manager the Met, I would issue three walks intentional walks every inning because then we know the rest of the mats would make out or pop out with the bases loaded because that's what they do every time. That is funny. Hey, listen. Your analogy, though, or SIDS analogy would be between the Mets and the Biden ministrations. I mean, I've done. It allows us to segue to the robocall in Afghanistan. If you could analyze that for us, Bill O Reilly and tell us how you think it's going to turn out. Well, The first thing was a surprise that formats were evacuated last night. Helicopters landed and took them to think it was Abu Dhabi. But I'm not sure. Um, anyway, so Joe Biden from the very beginning, and you know, we do this every Thursday, and I'm not an ideologue, and I don't have anything personal against Joe Biden. Um And and I predicted when he was elected that he would be a bad president because he's being followed. And it might be because of physical thing. I don't know, but he's incapable of analyzing complicated situations and he cannot retain information. So why is everybody surprises happen? You know, I know the border is a humanitarian disaster in the corporate crop. Corbyn media covers that up doesn't go down and really a report in depth on these poor migrants are being abused in Mexico like crazy. They didn't report that. The federal judge said that Biden can't overturn the remain in Mexico policy. How much you hear about that much? Not my own. No, No, We're not reporting that they have to report Afghanistan because there are foreign people in that country taking video. Right. That's the difference. That's true. They could cover it up. They would interesting. Yeah, I like that. They see it. They can video coming out to the BBC and all the other news agencies around the world. And okay, So now they're down on by most of these liberal commentators and corrupt corporate people are down on them. Not everybody. Juan Williams is still hanging tough. Joe is doing a heck of a job. Brownie job down here. Member, Uh, President Bush. Hurricane Katrina Back of a job. Brownie, FEMA director floating down the Mississippi. Yeah. That's when, uh, that's when Kanye West became a household name. George Bush doesn't like black people. Uh, God remember that he didn't quite understand it. Brown was the FEMA guys last, uh, so anyway, getting back to Biden. So Biden is crushed because it's summer vacation is out the window done. He had reservations at the miniature golf course he had the early bird specials lined up every day of the week down. Erin Rojo Bas Okay, but he can't go. No, he you know they've got him in there. Um, thank God. He can wear his jammies most of the day. But he has no blank include No, the picture. You're painting is really the real picture. But what do you want? Per cent now? Job approval ratings. Okay, And it's because every time he goes out there he goes. No, I didn't do anything wrong. No, not me. 4% believe him. I can't believe 48% even the dimmest among us, and I'm not going to name names, but I have a list of about 70. Even the dimmest Americans going. No, I don't think this is good because it's the it's in your face Pictures. Now on a serious note is going to be about 10,000 people executed in the next two months by the Taliban. Yeah, you won't. You won't hear about most of it because In the middle of pun jab somewhere. Yep. But they will give me the capitated. There'll be, uh, you know, whatever atrocities the Taliban have done in the past, and I think, lead the league in atrocities, All right? They're going to duplicate now. And then Isis is already there and I'll Qaeda will come back from Africa. You know, That's where Isis and Al Qaeda are now in Africa. They don't like Africa. You can't get cable in Africa over and you can't get cable and Afghan but a serious note you mentioned all three of those terrorist groups Al Qaeda, Isis Taliban. And a lot of folks. It's anecdotal, but a lot of folks that called this show and reach out to me personally or really deathly afraid with a 20 year commemoration of 9 11 now just 16 days away below Riley. They are deadly afraid that what's going to happen The next couple of months in Afghanistan, we will rebuild all these terrorist groups to the point where they can really plan their next major attack on the United States and come here. While those people being paranoid. Is there some credence to that? Well, number one. I would warn everybody not to reach out to sit in person. That's it. Wait too Risky. All right. Sorry. And if you do, check your wallet on the way out, Okay, number two. Of course they're going to reconstitute. Of course. What do you think the Isis and Al Qaeda people going to go? I don't think we're going to do that again. No. Yeah, We're going to just go there, and we'll just harvest opium. You know, people ask what Taliban how to get all their money. They control the opium traffic. Do we not understand that? That's how they get their money. Rush yourselves them guns. China sells them guns. Now they have all of our guns that we gave the Afghan army Because the army said, Hey, you guys over here? Don't shoot me. I'll give you all the guns that I have. And then the Taliban says Okay, they take the guns and shoot the guy anyway, so just as as a thing, But of course, you know when I look at the stupid analysis on the network and cable TV, I can't tell you guys enough. If you are still watching that you're wasting your blank and time. I got a great news services said just pointed out on Bill o Reilly dot com. We'll tell you the truth. So I'm watching all this stuff and guys like Matthew Dowd and there are no this is what we should have done. Everybody in the world knows you need intelligence to fight Al Qaeda and Isis. Everybody and if you had left the residual force in Afghanistan, you would have had a big CIA station because that's what they had at their embassy there. I was there. I went to Afghanistan. I saw it huge CIA station and they can monitor what happens there to make it easier to defend ourselves..

"The only had available in the Bay Area was the summer school Giants hat. That was it. You didn't get the other one, so I asked him to buy male Milwaukee Braves hat. Which I wore religiously religiously all the time. I was Hank Aaron at the plate. I love that Braves team. Joe Adcock. Eddie Mathews was a great team. And when that then when it was felt kind of them on the hat from a walking when it ran when it ran its course. And it peeled off my mother, who was a seamstress. Pitched and M to match them. Milwaukee Brewers That's a marlin I still have that brings back warm memories. That's also days actually had a Braves helmet just because I don't even like the Braves, but I did bring it home. But because Of Hank Aaron very uncomfortable, and as it told you in the helmet, it was not for game use. So you made sure you didn't wear for the game uses a plastic piece of helmet. But it was super cool, and I put Henry Aaron's number on the back of the helmet number 44 so Well, let's get to these games. We got two of them. Do you have? I mean, I don't really have anything. I got the home team's I'm not happy with it. But don't you feel like home favorites, But I don't know where else to go. I'd like to go bills, Dennis, but I can't go the team that got out game 22 games in a row. Uh, so For me. I mean, it is so far and Chad tried to steer me toward the toward the bill's a little bit, but I I just I haven't heard anything compelling enough to get to tell me. Don't take the Chiefs and the Packers. What do you think? First of all on the Bills game. Somebody asked me the other day. What I thought the best play in the playoffs has been so far. And I said The Ravens over the bills. And he said what that lost. I said, I know, but I determined best place based on what I'm looking at before the game is played. And I still consider that was the best player the playoffs. It lost 17 to 3 and we know the difference in interception made in that contest, but nevertheless They were. If you look at the stats, you can't believe That the Ravens would have lost that game, given how they dominated the action. But then you stopping you say, Well, wait a minute, The bills one Bills 1 17 to 3 while they were getting outplayed. And and so there's where credit has to be administered. Is that this is you know, this is my Super Bowl pick. I already I already made a bet, right with Susan Lines came out. I made a money line Bet on Kansas City. Buy back a third of what I stand to win. If the Bills go and all I need is the conference initially because I got a Twice the money on the conference that I do on the Super Bowl for the game. So I'm gonna make the same out on both plays, but And so then I said, Well, now I have it covered. And as I've looked at that now what I bet on which was in minus dollar 40 out the chute. Get that back free I can I can make I can make 20 cents on that bed Just like now, but on the other side on the Moneyline, because the bills that you know that the line is gone up so much on the Chiefs on the Moneyline, not necessarily the spread. So we look at the spread that opened it one Is now at three. So you say, Well, that means that you know that the wise money is has had followed the chief's well, that one was bogus. That opening line of one Was just a reflection of the concern is Is Patrick. The home's gonna be able to play right where I agree with Brett. We never really had a doubt that he wouldn't wouldn't be playing. So, with all that said, who you like? Kansas City, But I don't love him. I mean, I don't I don't even know that like enough to bet it, but I Have nothing really this game. The only angle I have is I don't think you get out game twice. In the playoffs, and then the third time you win. On the road against a team that won the Super Bowl that that's just my feeling I but I don't again. It's not something that let's put it this way. Dennis if there were 10 games this weekend. Wouldn't bet this one I would do. This is not what I would pick out of a hat and their pick out and say, You know what? Out of 10 NFL games. This one looks really good to me. The chief's minus three at home. Against the bill, so I would take the Chiefs. But I will do so if I do so with no conviction, and that's the way I usually put it. I usually look at these two games and go if there were 10 of their games this weekend. What I look at these two games and say, You know what? I think there's good value there. I like this. I like this game. I don't see either. I don't see that neither to those games. Well, you know, and I have, really, I'm gonna really be interested to see how the numbers come through tonight and tomorrow night to make a found determination on these games, But I could tell you that I'm liking the bills a lot. Um, I have gone full circle on the game, quite frankly and have come around to. I'm not worried that they got out static by the cold throughout static by the By the way, the Ravens last week given they won the games, and maybe this game is reminisce of the 1970 1970. 1992 chairmanship game between the 40, Niners and Cowboys, where The four days were favored by 3 3.5 4 points because they were established champions and the Cowboys were just up and coming. And the Cowboys came into Candlestick and beat the Niners in that championship game. Remember sitting the stand because that was one of few games I've gone to..

You know, One of the things I enjoy about you is that you take phone calls, and I think as a listener, we really appreciate that. I mean, stats alone is funny, and he's very intelligent, but he doesn't really like to take a lot of phone calls. You'd rather listening to himself Talk. I like to take that. I do like to take a lot of phone calls and look when I grew up listening to talk radio That was that was one of the things and I remember. I remember specifically one time you got time for a little story here, Dave. Go right ahead. No. One time I had a job and the job was we had to go to Utah. And I was working for a company back then that that made television trucks. Okay, so this the trucks you see that, you know, like the live vans for TV stations, and, uh, we would make the you know, when you go to a football game. You see the trucks out there with all the Right, all the up links and the computers and all that stuff in him, But we so the company I worked for He made those trucks and we had to go out to Utah and pick up some trucks from another company and drive him back here. Seo with the company was actually in here in Kentucky. And so I was. I remember being in that truck and driving from Utah back to here with three or four other guys and the whole time I'm going across the country, I kept turning the dial, listening for a talk radio station. And that was one of the things I remember. You know, before I got into the business was that was listening to different talk radio stations and and that's when and I thought, you know what the most interesting part of this is listening to the host interact with the callers. Yeah. Hello To my way of thinking. Yeah, sitting behind this microphone. That's what I want to do. I want to interact with the collar. Well, I appreciate that. But I called him because I don't have a Subait be boomer guy. I don't think there was a guy that was born in the fifties or sixties. They didn't have a crush on Marianne. I mean, she she was like girl next door. She was like a really hot girl next door. You know, wholesome. Uh and and not, you know, not beautiful in an exotic way. But just wholesome. Good. Don't like like you said the girl next door farm raised. I guess you would say, but I mean, just Just great to look at look like she was going to be around and he walked around with the little short always that little that little, you know, not that I forget what they called it like cut off top. Here's their stomach showing she just cute as a button. But then the big debate was always Who do you like? Better marry in our genie? Oh, yeah, I dream of Jeannie there. There was another one. I would have been four years old. Oh, s O s o. I actually want to show in reruns that without even knowing it. And I'll tell you, you know back then. I mean you really had this is when you still in the sixties and seventies. My way of thinking you still had what I refer to as the magic of television. Whenever I teach a class or talk to people who are getting in the business, always talked about the magic of television. And the magic of television back then, was when I was a kid. And even though I was watching Gilligan's island in reruns, I always thought to myself you know what This time they might actually get off the island. Lee knows a team of Louise that she was the movie star Ginger. That's Mary Ann was the hot one. On that show, and everyone knew it. I mean, it's absolutely unbelievable. Back from dating. Do you have fond memories of Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island? Hey, Dick from Dayton. Hello. Well, I do. But you know who I miss a lot. Who do you miss a lot? Alex Trebek. Well, Alex Trebek was one of a kind. He was one of the all time great and Charley Pride. You know, big meat, been playing music. He was one of my favorites. Yeah. I mean, it was mean 2020 gave a lot of punches to the gut. Oh, but you know, when you talk about Don wells I said Maryann, uh, that was a punch to the groin area. She was in a beautiful I did not know that she was missing Nevada 1959. Yeah, she was in the Miss America pageant. You said you were born in 63. I did the math on that. I was always Thorne. Between Mary Ann and Ginger. Because I've always been a fan of redheads like my mom even said when I was a kid, and we go through the grocery store every time I saw a redhead, I was in my stroller. I was just pulling out her. I can see without making tough. Yeah, Yeah, I mean, look, I mean, Ginger was nothing to sneeze that either. I mean, she was fantastic. But Marianne Marianne was always the hot one, though. Well, I went back and forth. And then by the time I got up into my twenties and thirties, I was watching reruns. I don't want to give you a couple of minutes to talk about. Your your latest book I've read. No, you sent me some reviews, and I I really It's on my list now, but I'll talk a little bit about you Mention it earlier. Red Round Globe hot burning with the wonderful subtitle, a tail at the Crossroads of Commons, enclosure of love and terror of race and class, and of Kate and Ned Disbarred. Tell our listeners a little bit. Give them a little teaser of this latest book of yours. Oh, thank you is that the title comes from William Blake and the red round Globe. Hot burning like with a lot of Blake is A metaphor that seems to be contradictory. It refers both to the heart and to the planet. That's the red round Globe hot burning. So Blake is calling for a A transformation of the human heart. And also for he's recognizing that his world that he knows it is on fire. And the fire that he sees is the fire of those satanic mills that all of us have heard about. And those satanic mills. Where Children were consumed onto the death were the new factories. They were propelled by fire by coal. Burning oh, our heating water to steam. This was a steam engine, all based on Cole. That fire and then the fire of war of A war for the Ohio Valley of War against the slave revolt in Suriname or Virginia. The war in in the Indian subcontinent. Those were fires to the fire of those great ships moving into a port and setting off back cannon battery. Ah, and bringing subjected populations to hell. So these but it Blake was also interested in your heart and in my heart And his poetry said. We had to change. We could not be the individualistic A commodity producing commodity loving, greedy. Souls that the That the system promoted We had to find a new way of life and a new heart. And this become the basis both of the love and the terror. The race in the class, which are formed At this time when the Commons are being enclosed, whether by act of parliament or act of war. You know, I'm speaking from Ann Arbor to you and Madison here, departed with Tommy Miami people. These are our ancestors. These are the people of our locale. "Bill Dennis you waited a long time thank you so much welcome to KGO. thank you John the electoral college fail this last time. and it it's failed us before and I'm so afraid it's gonna fill us again soon and can you explain to me why it is a good thing because it seems to minimize my vote. yeah sadly encourages me to gives me the feeling. why won't okay let me answer you the electoral college was designed by the founders to provide balance that is to say they wanted the election to be a state by state election in part to preserve the union it meant that states. have the right to elect their own electors this system has failed us five times in American history it failed us for the first time in eighteen twenty four. for the second time in eighteen seventy six the third time in eighteen eighty eight the fourth time in two thousand the fifth time in two thousand sixteen I can't tell you that the system will work effectively or efficiently but I can tell you that the president is in big trouble in Ohio Michigan Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and much to my. a prize is also in trouble in Texas the reason the president won the electoral college while losing the popular vote by almost three million votes is because he carried those states are. the reason the electoral college is not done away with this because small states say very simply if we eliminate the electoral college no candidate for president will ever visit our state. and they're right. so this is going to be fascinating there is a move. the state by state by state that the states would sign a compact which says that the winner of the popular vote will receive the electoral votes are I don't know whether that will be binding or not whether it'll be agreed to I think there are number of states that have said that but we're just gonna have to wait and see but your vote does count. every vote counts and that's the way America works. why why should the little state. wind up with the you know a canceling road over me because the whole idea of the founders had was to make sure every state. had a voice in the election and the way you did that was through electoral votes because it not small states member the number of electors is the Tuesday is the number of two senators. plus the members of the house of representatives so in Wyoming there are only three electoral votes it's not as powerful of course as California or New York or Ohio or Michigan but the idea is the of every state the feeling of their vested in the election and that means that candidates for president is Alaska and they visit Hawaii by the way a trivia question for you the only candidate for president of the United States in an election to visit all fifty states between the convention on the election day was. Richard Nixon nineteen sixty and his mistake many believe is the weekend before the election he flew to Alaska. instead of going back to Illinois. but that's politics but Dennis I promise you will talk about the electoral college again in the future and I promise you is well that when we report on the election in the next year we will be doing state by state polls okay. sorry all right thank you bye bye if we had time I would have gone through each one of those elections eighteen twenty four eighteen seventy six eighteen eighty eight a two thousand and two thousand fifteen. I love going to that history let's go to a man who's calling from Pleasanton and again you waited a half an hour and thank you welcome to KGO. that's okay John you're doing a great job everything you said is right on I do not call him president I learned to words over the past couple years one in Santa Barbara they call him resident came home learned another word from somebody wrapped I call him president right the man is the most despicable human being ever walked this earth in for women to get out there and vote for him after what he said about our private area in everything that's going on today he's nothing but this despicable lawyer. one of the things and there is going to happen in the selection. is a real arm. I only can describe it as a polarization that's the word there will be a real polarization in America the people who don't like trump are not going to vote for him and they're going to do everything they can to make sure he loses the people who love Trumper gonna turn out and vote for and that's the president's problem if he goes to elections because right now his popularity is under forty percent and in a two person race for president you can't win an election with those kind of numbers it's impossible. right so we'll CM and in your description of Donald Trump if I had a program person they would describe prop the Zakk opposite way and that my friends is the separation when I go home I listen either John bachelor here on KGO or I go over to kiss of folk and listen to Sean Hannity and believe me these are alternate universes a particularly when I listen to Hannity I can't wait to get the car find out what he says tonight anyway I appreciate and very much your call and your patience you keep listening thanks so much for calling my husband I love your program thank you so much thank you John take care bye bye let's go to a Jack boy Jack you waited forty minutes Jack welcome to KGO cakes I wouldn't listen anyway. John did you get a chance to listen to the hearings this morning. yeah I did too was about three and a half hours yeah I got up at five then in our prep and then sat by the television set. show okay so you know I'm a trump supporter and I think you know this is problematic for trump. there's many things that are problematic but one thing is if you noticed this morning. you had ABC CBS NBC MSNBC CNN fox they all carried this reminded me. during the hearing for the for the full hearing and it reminded me of what happened during Watergate exactly and if there is an impeachment of the president and I would say more important than in the Senate if there is an impeachment vote in the house Judiciary Committee you will see the same kind of coverage if that's what made Barbara Jordan and Elizabeth Holtzman. world famous go ahead well I mean this is really bad publicity when you're going into an election year but so I had a couple questions one was a previous caller and I wasn't quite sure of your response. okay so let me put this out there is the way I understand it. it's a possibility that if. the house votes. to impeach. that the Senate doesn't have to hold the trial no only hear from full house doesn't vote what happened in nineteen seventy four is that the Judiciary Committee voted articles of impeachment three articles of impeachment against the president but because he resigned the full house never voted on the articles of impeachment and as a result of we have the articles but there was never voter trial in the Senate it is possible it if I were it is possible for the Judiciary Committee to vote but not refer the the legislation to the house a full house in which case there'd be no trial in the Senate. okay but if the full house votes to impeach and then the Senate has to have the trial yes immediately and somebody asked me somebody here at the at the station asked me and stop the mall people asked me these these questions. what is Mitch McConnell's role if that happens the answer is McConnell is simply one of one hundred senators who become jurors they take a supper both in an impeachment trial so it's not a senator's alone they they're jurors and the person who makes the rules is not the Majority Leader it is the Chief Justice of the United States as William Rehnquist presided in the trial of William Jefferson Clinton so whoever is Chief Justice we assume it would be John Roberts he would preside if there were a trial in the United States Senate and he sets the rules. okay yeah I think you're gonna like this one okay so I can I can look into this and it's my opinion. that if president trump. were to be impeached. convicted and removed. in the Senate. that he would be removed. from office in his first term. but since he's only had one term there'd be nothing to prevent the president. former president would be nothing to prevent trump from running for the presidency again no sorry once you're convicted by the Senate that's it you cannot run read the article you cannot run for office well in the United States of America period. okay. so one of the things that disturb me was I got in and we had talked a little bit about this before I got the impression this morning that there's first of all there's more than one whistle blower protection act the the one that we're talking about now is the one that concerns the intelligence community. and they denied the acting denies pretty sharp guy and he was saying that this actually this whistleblower protection act was designed to stay within the intelligence community and this is where you had a problem with executive privilege that this was unprecedented. and and so one of the things I'm explain you his problem is that under the law he was obligated to report immediately to Congress he didn't he said I'm part of the executive branch so I went first to the White House counsel's office that was a mistake he should not have done that our and so the question of the whistle blower situation will be explored in the hearing and there will be hearing the whistle blower whoever he or she may be a will be called before Congress okay so the problem I had John is this is that to me this puts the intelligence community in a position to conduct oversight over the present now this is a whistle blower who saw who was ripple got word of misconduct referred it to the Congress which is what he is supposed to do or she don't you think that and I'm expecting this that there will be other whistle blower complaints against the president coming from the intelligence community I have no idea and I'm not speculating I can only deal with what is at hand the only thing that is being considered is this question of Ukraine and that is what Nancy Pelosi is sad and I'm I'm going to say that if that's what she says knowing Nancy that's what it'll be anyway Jack presheaf a call for one five eight zero eight zero eight am a let me. I'll get you all and I hope let me go to Greg calling from San Francisco Greg welcome to KGO. here are the plate is a very troubled about this whole situation an independent and frankly you know the way things have been reported the last few days Mercedes what's actually in the communication the actual transcript it seems like there's a a break down in how they're representing the phone call they've actually taken parts of the phone call and are are misrepresenting the facts not not according to what I've read the only account we have hold on the only account we have is the one issued by the president himself. I'm not I'm talking about the document that was released. he said they had taken pieces of it the document misrepresenting it Sir. no no no no hold on and on with all due respect the only account of the phone conversation which I can rely on is the account issued by the White House by the president of the United States..

"Excellence, the one and only Bill. Dennis miller. Welcome live this Sunday night with the great American. Professor cunningham. Let me bring bike hoping I loved more than the mid south legend when I was a kid in Pittsburgh. We had a cat name reach. Hordic stride, the radio. Dial like latter-day colossus of Rhodes to know that you're that sensitive. It's nice to finally meet you can I ask you one question. I've always wondered about you. Well, let me let me get my mind together. Please go ahead. How do you order your skyline chili three way with little extra onion? I tell those at skyline chili and Cincinnati what I want I want I wanted three way. But I want about seven or eight speckles of onions about one and a half to two inches apart on the bed of the meat. So that way, maybe it's three and a half way. And so I have a guy in Kenwood that makes me special skyline chili because that's the way I like it. I remember when Clinton used to be on the road campaigning in Cincinnati. He'd go in and asterisk three way. And they'd say, yeah. But how do you want your chili? I had a good friend of mine. Who's now on the bench whose name copy mentioned. There was a famous restaurant in Cincinnati called the Maysonet, which is one of the great restaurants in the world and Billy boy was here about twenty some years ago and sitting next to him oddly enough was a very attractive blonde and emotion over to come over to him. That woman later became a still is a sitting judge in Hamilton county Cincinnati Ohio, and he made every passing the book against her including a free ride on his Air Force One. Ride on his Air Force One. And she fortunately turned it down. Well that case he wasn't talking about the actual plane. That's a nickname for not something else. And the the fact is Bill Clinton was such set. So high on the one dog meter that he quite frankly would have hit on March shot at that point. Can I tell you a story about March shot? Yes. Yes. I love a good Marge Schott story. Well, there's an event here in town called mardi gras. And it's the it's fat Tuesday. It's the day before Ash Wednesday and for many years March shot an eye for the king and the Queen. I mean, Dennis Miller to have to be the king and Queen March Schott is that pretty good. Good as it gets. You must've smoked forty cigarettes every walk. She smells like an ashtray. But I come back. So we're on the throne. Leonard let it run by fine. Nubian slaves and were Bengal football players. And we're throne, and she has an outfit on like a Roman emperor. Outfit. All with a crown, and I got no shirt on seductively dressed and let around this hotel ballroom, and we get done, and she's drinking vodka and Jen like it was going out of business. She's my nickname was Willie. And she said Willie should we get a room? And I. And I said hell, no, I'm not gonna room, but I I was propositioned by March shot. The greatest story. Would you Marge Schott proposition? You what would you have done? I would have gotten off road runner cloud. On I seventy five I think it's like. I used to watch pirate games when I was young. I was always fascinated when they play in cincy 'cause they played across we feel that had something called the moon back. Yeah. Bob prince used to always call home run their he's that's out. It's up the moon deck, it's out on die seventy five in a pickup truck. That would have been at margin. You'd be on a way that that's true. When I went to games are grossly field out right and center field behind the scoreboard was I seventy five and you couldn't hit a ball of air. But Bob brands, you take Bob brands Marty Brennaman, you take the great the greatest ever, Harry Carey and Vince gully and those are the four, but Dennis Miller let let's talk a little bit about the current political scene. I've had on a couple of other so-called, national, comedians, etc. And they talk about how difficult it is today because there are certain areas of life that you cannot get into those areas of life. Otherwise, your career is ruined. How careful you as a national committee about what you say today that you weren't careful before. I wouldn't say to the prisoner of the national comedian. I would say to the the prisoner the sixty five year old guy who quite frankly. Done. What what I wanted to do? So I have a little bit more candor. What I call a young kid trying to get off the pot and LA she should come out and be anything conservative. Now. I wouldn't I think he'd get screwed out there. But for me, I don't know. I'm kind of liberated by it. It's the same thing happened my whole life on sort of a pragmatist about politics. Look, the Trump that I'm not gonna say these people say Trump is Hitler. You just want to say listen unless you're talking about Hitler. Let's not call anybody Hitler. I looked at Trump. But I see thin-skinned tap who does some great things as president. And I will say this. Here's the most endearing thing. I find about Donald Trump. I think but Donald Trump outer voice as crazy as it can be isn't entirely accurate depiction of his inner voice. Whereas in the last election, I always felt that Hillary Clinton's inner voice an outer boys that never even had a Cup of coffee together. And I was so sick of that approach to politics, but I find Trump cathartic in some ways, I'm not gonna sit there every day and say, oh, this is the worst thing we're going under. I think he's doing some good things. I think he does a rough way I think he does some other things that I don't agree with. But who who is that bad life? That's everybody run up against. But I don't know. I I'm glad he's president instead of Hillary Clinton. I'll just put it that way. When I was with a couple months ago, and I've said publicly and he said. He's wonderful. Absolutely wonderful, wonderful secret service guys, I talked to say this the best guy we've ever protected. He's kind you calls people. He takes care of his staff is wonderful. And I said to him Mr President. And he said call me, Don was Mr President are you capable of having someone screen your your Twitter account because about ninety percent of the stuff that you do actually do is wonderful. The Twitter account said let me tell you what he said on a good day CNN might have five to seven hundred thousand people watching him on a really good night. They might have one and a half to two million fifty million Twitter followers. He said what I am as my own news agency. When I do when I say something do something. I don't have to go through the prism of the mainstream media communicate directly to fifty to sixty million people, and they want to hear what I have to say. And I see no that's a good point. Is that a good point good point since Trump doesn't drink? I think sitting in bed and lighting up idiots on Twitter is his cognac before he does is one of the things I like about him is that he drives idiots on TV news absolutely apoplectic every night. I tune in just to get a little glimpse of the hapless U-boat commander. Wolf Blitzer standing there? How the world's coming to flip it over to one Williams. He's always making that puzzled looked like your Morrison when the cops are dragging them off the stage in New Haven, like once, I'm Kerry. Thanks for watch Trump. He's away like that happened to billboard balloon outside a car dealership during. An hour say. Because you can say something about the easy bakes for me makes the right enemies. He lets it rip when I'm thinking the economy, according to every objective standard in American history has never been this good every supreme court nominee every judicial nominee. I think it's been fabulous. And he was handed a feckless foolish foreign policy by Barack Hussein Obama, whether it was Iran, Iraq or Afghanistan or North Korea, Russia, Syria, whatever you want to say the world wasn't a meltdown. But now things are kind of stabilize things are so much better. And he wants to build a southern wall. How many walls are there among the Hollywood elite when they built a home aren't there, walls everywhere? Well, obviously there are, but I have an idea for the southern border because as I drive around I noticed that instead of building a wall, we should build a big mall and actual mall where we have shopping going on. And they rent a cops there, and they keep coming into the mall because the wall has just become a word now, but they're gonna use against them. Of course, anyplace should have a border. Of course, everybody who decries the border has a border at their home their office. It's just a silly to me if you're going to sleep with a fellow employees at a bad hotel in the middle of the afternoon, you have to scrawl something on the desk. Water harsh we should have you check in our southern border. And guess what? If we never did that eventually people would stop coming here because this country would be in trouble too. It's just common sense. They're making it out like he's an evil guy. But the fact is when you hear about one person like that girl on the pier. And San Francisco they could write that off and say, well, that's just the math of it. And I watched that thing, and it just broke my heart. There's enough evil weird bad things that happen in the country when you've got a border setup much less the heartbreak of one that probably shouldn't have happened. And they do that so quickly. I find that heartless. They always accuse the right of being heartless. And I always look at that. And I think my God that girls just out on a pier. Nice thing with their dad. She's gone, and it shouldn't have happened. We can't control much of what happens in life. We certainly can. Control who's in here making making stuff happen. Dennis Miller were concerns me greatly as what Venezuela in twenty years from nineteen ninety nine and Sean Penn went down there with with the great shove as leader talking about the all the glories of socialism by seizing industries. And then twenty years later, the human beings are eating grass in their if slaughtered their pets. And there's no Madison. There's no toilet paper. There's nothing to Venezuela economy. The strongest in South America has now gone. I see Mexico doing exactly the same thing, the new leader in Mexico promises. Socialism much like or much like Senator Kamala Harris what concerns me greatly is that what we're seeing is a trickle from Central America into enjoy our nation. If Mexico goes four bowl full bore on Venezuela and twenty years, maybe one hundred and forty million Mexicans coming into America because the same brand of socialism to failed in Venezuela is going to be employed now in Mexico. Seizing industries, etc. And when that happens, we better have a big wall. The size of the Vatican wall to keep people out because of that collapse happens in Mexico, which is coming in the next ten to fifteen years. What will look look like one hundred forty Mexicans moved north. Ability. You know, you you're talking about people coming in on the road. And that's too far down the road. From me. I'm just trying to deal with today. I live in California. I take a hike every morning around five or six miles as I walk around my neighborhood. I run into infinite amount of Mexican people. We know each other now, it's all hi how you doing? I'm glad anybody's here. I agree. The country's built on immigration, but the country was filled on immigration with a little mid step called. We just check people in and make sure that we're not. We don't have to get genius. Let's get all the gene we could just get good hearted people in a more than willing to have anybody here. But this whole thing that you can just why did I don't even have to think teen years down the road. I can just think today. It just seems nonsensical to me that we don't have any sort of a coaching border..

"Bitter cold with a chance for flurries tonight, a low of eight below wind chills. Twenty-five glow. Tomorrow is still very cold cloudy. A high of eight degrees is currently three in Milwaukee. CBS news special report, it's another temporary fix.
