"We're here today anyway. Yeah why we're all here today the three different entities representing different projects all representing I am representing the railyard park conservancy so we're the nonprofit that has jurisdiction over the railyard park in Santa Fe we also have another committee. Within the organization called the art project which is made up of local artists and art advocates and. People that were generally to help artists place, installations on public property such as the railyard park specifically so that's how we started working with with confluence collective and the dancing. Earth project came to, us the art project committee reviews art installation proposals and then the committee reviews it and we vote on, it and, we decided. Its relevancy to the park and to, Santa Fe And then there we kind of work with. Artists to get it in place or in this case if it's a performance to work with you, know what's happening and making sure they have, everything they need and working with them to help promote their peace and it's kind of why we're here to support the dancing earth and the. Confidence, collective partnership and this specific performance. Coming, up in August and you. Come to this from what are you an artist. Or you just an advocate why are. You involved well it is my job to support public art in the railyard. Park but me personally I have an art background of my own not compared to everyone on the committee so I don't really I don't really come from that perspective but I do promote and advocate for public art particularly because. It's fully accessible to everyone you don't have to be someone who's knowledgeable or someone with any money. You can just show up and really walk, away with feeling like you've experienced, some kind of artistic whether it's a dancing performance like this one or maybe it's a sculpture Or various things you don't really have to walk down canyon road. Or something you can just pop into the park there's good all right so we'll, go around, the room we'll Julianne Myers tell us about, your relationship to this as well right? Thank you Richard I am fortunate to be part? Of the railyard art? Committee, and we oversee the railyard art projects and lucky for us there. Are so many, wonderful creative people who come to us with proposals and dancing earth in confluence have, joined together to create. This marvelous performance and and lupita are, going to tell you more about that and that's coming up on August nineteenth I started. With the railyard art committee almost at its inception and in fact served. With other folks who some of us are still on the committee ten years later twenty years later, we were people who were advocating for the, park to come into existence And of course there was a long time there is it along the tracks it was a dirt patch and now. It is a gorgeous gorgeous park that the entire city enjoys and more and more because of the, wonderful programming that we're able to have their in in cooperation with other entities walls the photographs were where. There's music playing defense was really cool. Defense is very cool and this is our third year Kristie, third year having hosting the fence in our fair city and of course it's other major, cities visit up, now it is, opened a couple of weeks ago and we do also just a quick Little pitch for the reception for scanners Bill Dawson's installation which is on the rose Ramada in the railyard park and on August eighteenth this is the kind of of reception you can get. To because it's from eight until ten pm this is because. Bill Dawson scanners actually, only shows up after dark so come see what, that's about because of the very exciting it. Is and yet also I think magical now magical. And. Spooky great combo right let's talk a little bit I wanna just hold your horses No you're not Richard so when we talk about the, railyard art committee just the park or also like a, along the, tracks you know basically all the open space within, the railyard we we do have the opportunity to do site specific work campaign to, bring into sculpture depends, on the validity but that idea, has and yes within the committee's, jurisdiction to decide say everything, must? Be. Temporary. Correct. Exactly right Richard these are temporary installations of three to six months or an extraordinary event that is simply a one time performance. Or musical, pace so we we do select who who gets, to do this who has their art or performance in the railyard and we are looking for art that has a connection to the community to water to the railyard to history. Of, Santa Fe There, we go that's how it gets done they wield a lot of power over there at the rail yard art committee all right Lupita I think you've. Just been I think? View right. So are you ready all right tell. You real close. To. The microphone there you go cool lupita Salazar from dancing or what. Does that. Dancing. Earth dancy nurse I'm sorry No. Worries noise dancing. Earth. Is indigenous contemporary dance company based here in there are is that. Close enough Technology Dancing was founded and is still directed by roll-on Tonkin is based here in some kind of like has another, incarnation San, Francisco and my work within dancing earth has been as as a, performer but also as a culture carrier and someone coming into their own understanding of what that. Means I'm from northern New, Mexico communist tiny little, village and I'm a farmer and that knowledge isn't just, like, oh this is what we do out on the. "Because you know it along of thirty so on the other ones he what 21 carries for fifty yards me that was it was workmanlike and guy act only thirteen of eighteen a very efficient for back eighty three and two touchdowns on all on only thirteen completions that's pretty impressive for a buck 83 but as you pointed out for people just tuning in cowboys did not have a ton of snaps they didn't have the ball a ton because of what happened in the first quarter you're right it was i i think a little bit of a hangover from that beat down they took today at the hands of the denver broncos last week because the cardinals dominated the first quarter they should have been up ten zip but dawson mrs bill dawson how how old is he volleys gotta be forty three two forty three one hundred i mean i think he's the second oldest player in the league hi now obviously been a terry who is heavy kicking field goal to a 75 he wants inevitable uh but you know they should have been up tens zip at the end of of one and that's a big mental difference when you're up to scores to just one for both teams arizona and obviously the cowboys well he misses that field goal and god boys have a sense of all right now we're still in this thing in mexico you know a tattoo ballgame and they took over from there so that this was one where a lot dak prescott was remarkably efficient with the time that he had with the ball and zeke did as much such as he could you know going twenty two for eighty but or most of it was very hard earned all the other twenty one carries for fifty yards i didn't think.
