"I still say Coupe, our team that we're top five were being polite, but our team was the greatest ever because when they go with Michael Jordan's team, the difference is, okay. Michael in and, and Magic, cancel each other out, James and Scotty cancel. Each other out, but you're telling me Luc. Longley on Corrine. You're right. Bill Clark said, no, that's too much Captain. That's too much cat. That's too much. So I still say, our team is the greatest ever. Our bench was better than Aris 2070 games then, and please, when we played, was at his strongest days off. You ain't taking days off and call it in. Can't go. It was 65. We still have 65 grinding and then I think about this. I still say, I know I'm jumping around real quick, but I'm so proud of you. Cool. I'm so proud. Aren't he? Had a statement, almost, a week ago. I think where he said, you know, what, the Lakers the best move they had was getting added White House. Because now Anthony Davis doesn't have to be centered on that grind and I thought that was statement was genius and the late Muhammad Ali when he if he heard that statement Michael Cooper. He would say TG United as you look it wasn't last week's podcast. He brought that up. He said he said that too. When when after the Lakers won the title and they didn't they didn't bring Dwight back and development. That I didn't like that one because if you have a size differential, you know, a Draymond Green on Anthony Davis, Anthony Davis, got that one. You know what I mean? I'm so I'm so proud. I am saying I am fair weather, though when our Lakers winning, I got my ring on when they lose they stink. I'm fair weather. Man. I got it bad. That's why you're being a legend in your own mind, man. But what was it? Like, growing up for you as a young person? Oh, man. Listen, it was a game. There was a maid. DeMatha, so I'm from the east coast, and that's how y'all gave me that nickname stuck scratcher. So I came to La things like, man. He's a scratchy. Let's do the scratch here, which meant scrub, he couldn't play Em. I'm from Washington DC. There's four of us. I went to DeMatha Morgan wootten at the time. The winningest coach in history of high school basketball. And I think the same way with Adrian Dantley and Kenny,. I said, I was going to say he's from DeMatha just a moment. People just Sidney Lowe. Dereck whittenburg. Markelle fultz a Victor Oladipo. The line has been going well with fundamentals. Fundamentals. Maybe what makes that school so attractive to great players. You know what? I think really Morgan wootten took a page out of Dean Smith who took a page out of red are back and took a page out of this one, you know, this one right here and this is on my desk, the Pyramid of Success, coach John Wooden. So my comb Was so, so, so fundamental, man, you could divide them by four. He's just man. He loves John Wooden and those fundamentals. And, and I love fundamentals too. But I'll tell you, this went to the University of Maryland. Lefty driesell who started Midnight Madness, the math in Maryland are only three miles away from each other and growing up. You notice when growing up if off between 6:00 6:00 and 6 9, you wanted to be one of three people at the time, you wanted to be the Magic Johnson, George Gervin or dr. J..

"And brandon is up next in georgia brandon. Thank you good afternoon. Hey paul how's it going. We're doing great. Thank you good. First time caller. Thanks for having me on a really. Appreciate it I know there's been a. There's been a lot of talk about expansion rightfully so it's almost like we forgot. There's a football season right around the corner but Getting to that. I wanted to ask you think. This is the season that georgia finally gets over the alabama hump and saving loses to a former assistant. We win the sec. I think it's the best shot. So as far as i go right now i mean i i would really like to see the clemson game i I do like georgia against clemson. No so i'm feeling pretty upbeat on the dogs absolutely absolutely yet. We kind of have a history of every five years or so we come up. You look back at two thousand twelve two thousand seventeen. Maybe kirby can do it a little too early with the recruits he's having but I just wanted to see if you thought saving final lose to one of his former assistance. This year i i will say i do think it will happen at some point. let's I'm willing to see the season. I bond is up next in south carolina. Hello bond hey paul how are you. We're doing well good good. I was just really concerned about real. I'm a. I mean like like a national guard game caught but Had a more a question for you about i. Guess probably like antitrust. If the like was to you know were to pretty much like back. It up Be kinda like a serious versus. Xm line so you've got in that situation. What does the ncwa do. And they have no merits to really stand on his stars Actually anti trust. Because they're not. Pity i to tell like. I'm i know anything about antitrust law but i i think this would be a pretty a pretty tough hill to climb first of all there's going to be had to be some action taken before you prove that and i think the government would have to be involved in. I don't see the government. Suing the southeastern conference for violations of the sherman antitrust act. I don't either. I don't mean to sound like an anarchist. But i i would never put anything past the federal government. Okay you everything and was like the best conference obviously yeah. It's kind of an trust Debate you walked in the oval office right. Now in as president biden his thoughts on the oklahoma texas situation. I'm not sure he would be conversant in that. I think he wouldn't be as long as mirror garland over at the justice. Department in garland. I think he's a harvard guy. i don't think he cares either. So i think we're i think we're good down here for sure you got it. Yeah that's that's an interesting question. I think that case is much more suited for judge judy than the supreme court. Gary is up next in saint. Louis hello gary hi paul. It's a privilege to talk to you. Sir had anchor day. Thank you very much paul I've been assume fan for a long time Texas kinda really ruined in my view. Kinda ruined the big twelve and i think they had a lot to do with the Fall fallback of the south western conference. Say they've proved they're not team players and paul. I'm more of an sec. Fan than relayed than a big twelve fans are zoo fan I was just so tickled in two thousand twelve when we went to the sec mainly because all my relatives are living sec countries and people really in missouri. Don't get it yet. They really don't get it. I really think mizzou. Kinda really doesn't belong in the sec. Even the fact. I love the fact that they are in the sec. And as soon as people here in missouri finally get it that This team's not gonna move like the rams and the car this is you know we've been really screwed by the nfl and missouri. Fans haven't really gotten into it yet. And i'm kind of disappointed in that but i hate to interrupt because he's been such good call but we are knocking on the door of this next hour so we have to get out of the way we will be right back..

"Dealing with now for twenty nine days. The name image and likeness. Where are you on on where college football is not going but already were there. I mean how how how does it. How does this settle with with was an old high school coach and someone who played the game at jacksonville state for us. I think every coach that's worth assault. And and that that i know that got into it for all the right reasons which is which is almost all of the dondo. It's you really care about your kids. And they are. They are your kids so that was what high school was it. Remember the community. These are your kids and so you won't everything that they can get I think the concern for all of us is that we lose the the models that have have made better people you know better citizens and and but we won't these kids to have every opportunity so hopefully that's what's going to happen and You know you just don't know what's gonna happen as far as you know the the far reaching effects of it but we'll see But but we do want what's best for kids and we do want them to have every opportunity to you. Know to have to have better lives coach bill clark of uab. The season opener around the corner always great to have you on. Thank you coach. Be well we will see him and we will come right back. "Yeah i know that's summer school classes in session. Yeah but i'll be more than happy to. I've always wanted to go into teaching. I've considered that as my next adventure. And i may i may just have to go to ut austin and get in and get a gig. Abe is in california and you are on the air. Hey paul how are you doing today sir. Abe doing great. thank you. thank you for having me so First of all. I really appreciate your show and you know i wanted to talk to you about Kinda like all this stuff in the sec. With texas and oklahoma is gonna impact those west coast and back. Twelve teams right You know real real quick. I i think you mentioned a couple of days ago but The reality is most people on the west coast are checked out of college football. You know by the time. October comes around right and You know for years. We haven't had it really solid national championship. Contending team So you know. We're just kind of curious if you can kinda you know. Talk about that and You know honestly. I think texas and oklahoma are great. Fits for the sec. It seems to make sense but Would really love your perspective on how this will impact the pac twelve and You know are they going to start trying to go find a couple teams or is it going to be even harder for pac twelve team to be nationally competitive Know thanks again and thanks for having me on the show. Thank you yeah. I don't think we really know the answer to that yet. And the pac twelve is challenged and unless we see some sort of weird marriage between the big ten and the pac twelve. I i don't. I don't think it's going to really progress. I mean the only thing that factual has going for it really is the hope of twelve team playoff other than that it. It's in a particularly difficult position. Chris is up next and raleigh. Good afternoon chris. How are you birthday sir. Thank you great to have you on. Yeah what's what he thinks. The best outcome for the acc say two three years out. And what what do you think. The worst outcome for the sec. Two or three years to be so obvious chris But but the answer is very obvious. It's notre dame without notre dame committing to the sec. Football i don't think they have many very good options. i'm not. I'm not impressed with west virginia. Somebody that's going to move the needle in that league and you understand that the what do they do for. What do they do for you. Yeah it's it's a tough. it's a tough scenario. What shift a little bit. If and it looks like texas and oklahoma. This is going to happen to sec. Do you end up five. Six years down the road with a smaller pie because all the good teams or left in one cup. You know you gotta have competition to get somebody else or you. Shrinking the country crucial. You're one hundred percent correct. I just think the pool i mean. You're a five star player. You're the pool of schools that you were considering has shrunk and by the way i think it was already pretty small i just think the world of college football just got a lot smaller and you can. You can do it way. You want from class system to do any other classification. But i think this is not. This is not good news for the middle class. No it's not you know the. Nfl can expand by adding the city. You're not going to be able to add a create a new university and it be competitive. So it's it's an hey. I appreciate your show. Thank you for always being a good platform for so many people with so many different opinions. Appreciate it thank you sir. Thank you chris. Great to have you on We are going to take a break. don't forget the next hour is when we are watching the sec presidents. Very very closely. John alty from al dot com will join us. Dan and let us know exactly what is going on tomorrow. A lot of other things so it will start happening and we'll let you know about that right now. We are heading to a break. "President sometime daddy as joe. Dawn is up neck in oklahoma. Hello jim thank you good afternoon. Hey paul this is how you doing jim. We are doing well. Thank you so much for calling. yeah. I'm a retired high school head coach from in oklahoma hair. And i thought maybe you'd be interested in a couple of things. I was born in fifty one in west virginia. Most before nick sabin just a few miles away. And i've sure kaban joy the stories about him and all the memories he has and those things that i can relate to well nineteen years later. I met barry switzer. Norman changed my major immediately to coaching. I was so impressed. And and i've been impressed with both of those guys so much. I love barry switzer. And he's such a good man and he's kept up with me and my career and all those kind of things too. But now there's a bunch of us. Old retired coaches living lakeside. Here grand lake in oklahoma and fisher to berry is one of them and some others. And i just want you to know. We're all excited about what's happening here. know that new rivalries are going to be developed very soon and old ones like with the missouri and am going to come back. You know and have some fun times there. But i just want you to know that we're enjoying your show a lot of you. That a lot of them aren't going to be able to talk to year. They just want to sit around and have a beer while i do all the talking anyway. Boomer sooner paul. Hey before you go coach. How long did you coach high school. Thirty years and My last year my last sixteen was over on the us basis in belgium and in england. How interesting Well thank you so much for for sharing that with us in pre and barry switzer always just people. I don't think people younger people appreciate. What legendary figure and his impact and influence. We were talking to jim donovan yesterday. Who you probably know was his offensive coordinator for many years. Out there during the heyday. And what an impact. Barry switzer left on football. I'll definitely you know. He told me when. I when i went into the coat into Change my major. Said you know he. Jim you're gonna have to dissect a human cadaver two major coaching and i go. Is that right and he goes. Well yeah you know you're going to have to know all the athletic injuries and everything you're going to have to be able to to do you know on the football field and you know he was right. You know a lot of people don't know that's what if you major in coaching those kind of things. You gotta do well coach. Thank you very much For for being here and you'd be well and we hope to talk to you again very soon. Jim is up next in south carolina. Jim thank you get after him. Hello paul This is jim. And i been trying to get in touch with you've for about two and a half years. I've been watching your shows since two thousand fourteen when you came on and and the one thing that happened about two and a half years ago is everyone started referring as the sec which stands for the southeastern conference ac. Atlantic coast conference all the conferences in the country. Start referring to themselves as lead and we are the league and conference or not the same thing. I've looked it up on the dictionary. The league we are in his ncwa division one and every team in the country falls under one league and we break it down. If you think paul back four and a half five years ago you never used to work league. And the first time i ever heard the word lead come out with mark kubiak in february of two of two thousand nineteen attention to martiniuk and your entire your entire function cabdriver. I heard mark. Say that it spray. It and now. The whole country announcers from games coaches referred to their conference as leagues and we are all in the same conference. Every team in the country is in the same league. There's there's different leagues. Though paul like and see a division one division two division three et cetera. lee deletes. Did i get sent to summer school or something. What's going on here. Thank you for the call. I i. I don't know. I feel like i if we're called the league. Can i call it a league. i mean do. We really need do argue. The definition of it is a southeastern conference. It's not the southeastern it's not the l. conference with that. Okay tony is up next tony Good afternoon and welcome to the southeastern league. Tony are you. There would help if punch tonia. It always helps. Can you hear me now tony. I can't Yes you sound. You sound great okay. I was laughing about that last caller I like to make two points. One is is oklahoma. A perfect fit. I mean they should have been in the southeastern conference twenty years ago and you know i like him. Them trinity split in for a few dollars more but on the other hand texas. Texas thinks that they're clint eastwood in a fistful. The dollars but if they don't win on that grid iron they just going to be rodney dangerfield in caddyshack and may need to learn. They need to learn that. The respect and i league is based on performance. Not how much cash you having pocket. And they need to learn fast..

"You know, in in two weeks again, Just don't just being out with answer. It was I felt so bad for them. And just the constant worry and anxiety, you know, not counting in. You know the game that you always worry about. Head coach Bill Clark of you a boo football. The Blazers win the Conference USA Championship for the second time in three years. They do it on the road at Marshall. It's after hours here on CBS Sports Radio, when you think about What happened with you? A B football going back now? Gosh. Was it six years, seven years where the program got shut down. How much did that experience and that adversity prepare you to lead the way through this past season. You know, I think it did. I really think we're all you know. I guess we're all products of our experiences. And a sweet say that adversity is is, you know, kind of, you know, how do you handle it? What do you do? And when you've kind of been through something really tough, I think you do draw on that and Um, yeah, This was just this was different in so many ways, but there's no doubt I look back at that. That's something we always talk about. You know, if we can make it through that we can make it through anything. So, Yeah, I think no doubt you draw on that and Um, it's it's something definitely keeps us fighting in tough times. Mm mm. So then on the field in West Virginia, you beat Marshall. You've got the trophy. What type of emotions are flooding through you, then? I mean, that was literally one of the best celebrations of it. You know, I've been part of, and I think, right the week before was crazy Just because He's got it missed so many games week after week after week, and you know, we just can We even get to the field and play and then the marshal game was. You know, we got a bunch of guys back that week. I think it was really okay. We feel like this is maybe the first time Almost all year, we felt that we had almost our whole team together at once on thought we played in our best game, so it was kind of a combination of Get your players back, Um, focused on this one thing, you know, and just to go there against a really good Marshall Taylor Gatto, you know, great year playing at their place for the championship, you know, kind of put it all together. I can only imagine the relief we made it. We got to the finish line and not just that, but we did it with a championship. Right. Exactly. I mean, that was, you know, it's one thing to get back. It's another thing to get back and win a championship. So it just Yeah, that locker room and just I mean, it was just every emotion. But just to see the true joy on their faces was just perfect. But we had a bunch of conferences Power five conferences who decided early in August that they were going to shut down and I know some of them reverse course and ended up playing for the sake of the kids. But I'd love to get your reaction to what was kind of this movement among college football players in August, where so many of them got together on social media kind of banded together as a group to say, Hey, we wanna play. This season. It's really important to us. We want to play as a coach. What was it like for you to see so many young men stand up for themselves and for their sport? Yeah, I thought it was a thing of beauty. Really? And I think that's what for us is coaches. You know? Yeah. We want to do it for our country and and all the above and athletic departments. I mean, when you're you know, there is no athletics without football. I think that kind of put it all into perspective and You know, we kind of know the program's I'll go How football goes and your communities but really, it was our players. And I mean we had to a man coach. What? When are we getting back? What have we got to do? We're willing to do whatever it takes. And I mean, and I think that was That's what drove all of us, you know, to do it for our kids. Coach Bill Clark of U A B football with us here after hours on CBS Sports Radio. You just went through this this process of kind of saying goodbye of football wise to another class. Why is this 2020 group? This graduating class so important to you, Coach? Well, I think you know, just, you know, you got guys that if we do have some junior college guys and everyone, we've got some four year, guys and you know the blast. We're probably gonna have about a dozen of those guys stay for another year. But, you know, I think just the things they've been through, they seen us from You know, really bringing it back from nothing to you know the return to you know the winning championships too. You know all the above and, you know now we're gonna walk into this brand new stadium next year, so they just really You know what they've done and made real history here, baby. Yeah, I go back to the 2017 restart there. And these are your guys that you kind of convinced that came with you. That helped you to build this program back? This particular group has been through so much. Yeah. I mean, they really seen it from from the old facility as we, you know. Hey, guys, we're building this on then they you know, they believed in and they they bought into what we were saying that we weren't gonna do what we said. Then to sea had done the right way. And then you know, they have this great winning streak at home that we had, and you know, just all the things that have gone into it. You know that I've been part of, but I think just having that belief and believe in what you know us as a staff and what we were trying to do and in our program and are you a baby? You got this video up of inside the new stadium Protective Stadium there in Birmingham, and I just remember visiting you a few years ago, and it was just a concept right? The digging was starting, but there was no actual structure there. How excited are you to be able to move into this brand new home in a few months? Yeah, I mean, so when you saw me, literally. We were trying to get just our building. If you remember. You know, we were sitting over in that old brick building that was, you know, I I always say the worst in the country, you know? And then we get that built in 17, you know, with our that was community raise money, and then No, no way. Start talking to our community later. You know that was one of my goals was new facility. New Stadium in the stadium, of course, is for Birmingham and I think just to see the people come together and Um, it's okay. We can do this. And literally. You got the city, the county. You empty the B J. C. C. I mean, you got all these entities that really came together and now You know, I got to take it another tour yesterday at the new stadium. I mean, this year's miss. You know you come about, you know, the new stadium in the country and just amenities downtown. Really Right off. The understanding is just coming in second grade. Do you for The college football. Another event, of course, but just, you know, it's It's obviously a huge for you. Maybe, but it's also true for the city of Birmingham. How do you approach this next season? Now? What are you in the midst.

We'll start down in Boca Raton, northern Illinois, UAB, UAB, two and a half point favorite here in this spot. We talked about rod Carey last week. He's one of the worst coaches in bowl games of any program in a bowl game. Here. The MAC, obviously, not great in bowl games, although eastern Michigan did manage to cover their against Georgia Southern and you know, would've won the game. If we would have had a hashtag college kickers moment, but any event here down in Boca, UAB, minus two and a half this lineup for minus one. What do you think about game to eleven to twelve Kyle? This is a really interesting game to me because I look at it from inside standpoint, you know, this is a game where all of the angles that I talked about last week. And I and I got multiple people telling me that they appreciated those angles from last week, and certainly hurt me always happy to hear that the listener. Like those angles and trends different systems for bulk games. But just about every single one of them that I ever said last week is on northern Illinois this week. I can't take northern Illinois. I think that this is the spot where you if you want to pay the public the public staking AB if you wanna take the better defense the team that can stuff run northern Illinois inside having said that it means too much to me that the MAC is not good involved games. And rod care is not done. Well at all. Okay. You know, I think Bill Clark of Ron Carey's a really big. And I think that's hard to quantify. But it it's definitely there. UAB? Look, you know, they they've been amazing. The last couple years. I can't say enough good things about UAB in you know, at this point. I've kind of become a UAB fan I'll be a buckeyes fan for. But I like to root for UAB this program that didn't even have football program. Just what three short years ago now and the last couple of seasons. You ain't be it's been a big time. Moneymaker? I that's why they're getting the money in this one. And part of it is eight of the MAC, certainly, you know, if you wanna take the better defense if you wanna take team they can stop the run. I couldn't blame anybody for taking over no one. No, I think this will probably go to threes. So if you like northern Illinois might as well wait for three on at the same time. I can't take northern Illinois. You know, like, I said, you know, these angles are what they are. I think they're good angles to follow. But it's not everything. And the fact that northern Illinois consistently been that bad under rod Carey and in general enter filming rod carries, very good code Bill. Clark of air did coach I can't take northern Illinois would be UAB or pass for me. Yeah. I mean, it would be UAB your pass for me to and and for northern Illinois. The defense is very good. They can't stop the run. But also the offense terrible. Their offense is really really bad UAB's got a solid defense too. So I don't see northern Illinois lighting up the scoreboard here in this game. I think maybe the under forty three is a decent look. But also for UAB here. I mean last year great season excellent season. I thought Bill Clarke should have been coaching the year last year winds up getting it this year. But you know, they have a sour taste in their mouths because they had that good season, and then got absolutely trucked by Ohio in the Bahamas bowl forty one to six you weren't talking about a motivation edge. I know northern Illinois Owen five and ballgame. So they haven't won in a long time. But for you a beat after that Cinderella story book season last year in their first year with football back to go to a bowl game. And get trounced everybody that's a returnee on that team remembers that game they've got all the motivation in the world here in this one..

"I thought did a tremendous job even though Alexander Madison goes over two hundred. I believe he carried the ball like one hundred times. So does no got the stops. When they needed to it goes to overtime, and they get it with. Walk off touchdown. So very cool to see and Jeff Tedford younger than I thought. He was which I hope is good for his younger. Yeah. Playing younger 'cause I think he's in his mid to late fifties. Which is not bad. If he so desires to get another power five job after you know, a pretty bad ending at Cal. But I think he's certainly earned another shot Fresno state wins amount west I believe that means to go into the Vegas bowl double digit wins and Boise state for all of their success this year gotta win that game at home. You just have to. All right. All right. Three other ones here in the group of five we had a conference championship for anti youth thirty to twenty nine over buffalo. We had another comeback. Yeah. We had a conference championship for app state over Louisiana Lafayette by thirty to nineteen score. And finally, we had a conference shaped you for. Told this pronounced Haub club UAB Haub. Yeah. Twenty seven to twenty five over middle, Tennessee, the blue raiders go down real quick. And I you who I don't believe was favored despite having a very good defense and pretty impossible non conference schedule. That's why the record sort of misleads about the success that they've had this season a nice comeback win weathering. The storm against his buffalo. Offense landslide polled Leopold. I probably am pronouncing this incorrectly. But through the air, which is not always been the case where you shine against the bulls either way a successful season for both. These teams UAB, of course, two years removed from not existing and losing to middle Tennessee the week before a nice win for them and Bill Clark getting to the finish double digit wins. Right. That is ten and three. Yes. They win this game twenty seven twenty five and what was the third game apps. State. Scott Satterfield has done obviously. Once again terrific job with the mountaineers at the time a recording. This appears to be the favourite for the Louisville job. Now that Jeff Brahma Stang which happened basically right after we stopped recording always on Wednesday but app state losing Jalen more early on this season transforming more of a passing team, which they weren't really able to do against the rain gauges. But they just went they just win. And I really didn't watch a ton of this game. I will go back and watch more, but upstate is just quality and Louisville ends up with Scott Satterfield. I would consider that to be a big win. I know why he didn't watch a lot of it. Dan. Bye..

"We are glad all of you are here. We talked about this earlier and we were talking about the the UAB football program in what is -ccomplish under Bill Clark who was already a very successful high school and college coach in the state of Alabama. And this story is very well known, but that's old news. What what is the news now is what he has done, went to a bowl game last year in the Bahamas after a spectacular season. And we are delighted to welcome coach Bill cork of UAB to the program coach. It's great to have you on. Congratulations again, I know you're, you're getting ready for the season opener, but a lot of folks around the country is still talking about what you have accomplished. Good afternoon. Nice. Paul Krisha but push meal. Well, before we get to some other issues, how's the Camden and what's the season look like for you? Well, you know, we're. I was laughing in the lead up just the fact that we actually have guys that played in the s. football game coming back, you know, we were. I really probably didn't really quite understand. You know, bringing all those guys in junior college and high school that ninety seven percent of our team and never played in an f. b. s. game. And you know, I think all coaches think we can get it all done through practice, but there's just something about different about playing at this level. And I think it took us a few games to get into that. And then we kind of settled in and it's been just great to have a returning team. You know, I got the Jack state twenty thirteen and then got here in fourteen and then shut the program down and they were new bashed. You're so just to have an actual group of returners is it really made life easier? We talk, oh, a law. We actually had Greg Byrne on earlier on. I asked him about scheduling in a realize you have to get off the ground which you certainly have now. But this program is is gaining quite a reputation. How do you go about and what is your attitude towards scheduling outside. The league. Yeah, you know, we originally we said, you know, I, we had to kind of take what was out there and I've always said, we, you know, we all understand economics. I was a high school coach and AD and you know, at Jacksonville, state and south Alabama, we start at program show. We understand we've gotta help, you know, not only our program, although the program. So you know, I don't mind the money game. I think that's okay. Some people might disagree, but you know, as I've said, I'll pay, you know, we'll play the Green Bay Packers ROY. And so yeah, that's allowed us to go. You know, whether it's the the Florida game last year, Texas, AM and so on. But I think after that it it really behooves us to play a game against a an in state FCS team if we can just because they're gonna bring a great crowd, which is always something of imports. And then we said, let's play two teams that are similar to us. You know, maybe an American conference or MAC or and then you know, maybe maybe a sun belt or or somebody like that. So that's kind of what we've tried to do in the other two games. And I think we've been pretty. So you know, we've got two lane this year. The Americans really, you know done. They've done a great job, get everybody back. And then of course, coastal Carolina is another good story out of the sun belt, and then we go to go down to Texas AM game, eleven and opened up with savannah state. Yeah, that that that is a, there's a aggressive schedule coach it. We're not when I was in town. This was always talk radio question and I hate to bring it up. But someone asked me and I and I know you're, you're well respected by all the coaches in that area. And a lot of folks have stood up and and they made their presence known when this program needed it. But when it comes to instate and I'm speaking primarily of Auburn in Alabama, has there been any discussion about getting games with them, or is that something that you are trying to to look the other way and avoid in terms of putting them in in awkward positions?.
