"So that's why i guess. Probably the biggest thing right now with schools. I think last Two weeks ago. I taught a graduate course at the gordon. College for Teachers and and and superintendents and so on and it was one of those eight hours a day five days whole semester. Wake up in the middle of the night with chills. But i i loved it because i just love the this the energy of teaching and so on and They were just awesome and it was An educational leadership in how to deal with people and so on and it was just great and I every time. I looked out at them. Because there's about fifteen he can't have made more than that masters course but All i saw was thousands of kids. They were going to touch And so everything. I said i had that in mind and with stress to them and so And you know what you're doing here at s l. at the one you look at those kids and you look at those youth pastors and parents. That are out there as well. Same thing. same thing and So yeah it's that so that's that's my vision but i wouldn't really wanna be with teachers. Want them to Have a vision for things they avoid. We don't talk about that. Here is a way to we. Don't talk about black lives matter here. we don't talk about transgenders here are scores. Were not as if you don't the who is yeah in your silence. Silence only serves as it as something destructive in the life of a student exactly and you can guide them through that because if there's no country voice of what. They're getting on their phones Yeah it's Were you to last once if at all Mentoring them so Well nice incredible. Yup this has been such a great conversation. Thank you again so much for being here One of the ways. We end our podcasts. It's a little fun It's called rapid fire questions. So i'm gonna ask you some questions and robert fire means just a quick answer But like one word one more now you can. You can give a little explanation. We normally have if we do it to brand. He'll get you know he gets two minute. Answers sub scientists getting through all right just a little quicker. What book are you currently reading. Or what is the best book you've read within the past year when he answer both well. I usually read about eight or nine bucks at a time. I have always done that. So i would say. Let me give me go with any s williams book which is confronting injustice without compromising truth. I think it's gonna be read it. I've not ooh is the best book on critical race. Theory out there who teaches biolo- okay. It is the best and less children's book to another gospel that those have really made an impact on me Just last couple months brady okay. What is something you are looking forward to. personal vocation. Oh there's a leadership perspective. It's the end we backstage before it. Well probably. Oh gosh well on my daughter and son-in-law and her four little boys live one house down from us and We're going to have a great summer and we've got lots of we rebuilt the whole Visitors guess sweet onto our home and we got a lot of people coming. Clean all the anna and mary and getting them together. And it's just it's going to be a blast thousand no world different parts of my world colliding wonderful ways. That's caveat last summer. Yeah i love that. That's great okay last one. What gives you hope about this. Next generation of leaders. Well love the word. Hope in fact if i had a mission statement which i do but if use this passage scripture but it's the first word to ignite hope hope I like the word ignite. I hope because that is hope is the. This is a long answer. Until i can. Hope is the soil from which faith in love grow. That's clashes chapter chapter. One there and you think faith hope love. The greatest of these is love. That's true but not the most important may be the greatest country but it's not the most important because love really grows from hope as vague. Yeah and Because you know what the future holds And once that's decided to give just this real sense of going to be okay. It's gonna be okay and so god is at work and we know god is at work around the world. Hundred thousand plus people are coming to christ every single day. Wow th twenty to thirty thousand of them are muslim every single day. We don't sense that here and the competent talking about the demise of the church talking about in the united states. I'm sure that there needed to be some cleansing in the church. So that doesn't trouble me nearly as much but i'll tell you it's organizations like this. It's it's this guy right here rant and a lot of the other organizations that are passionately investing their lives in young people and It doesn't take many in the one person committed to a cause far more effective thousand only interested. And when you have those kinds of people it's it's transformed. So i never count up numbers you know. It's always the quality of the people that are awesome. While while this is really great again. Thank you so much for being here. and thank you for those who listen. We're here every thursday. Now we're going to be continuing in our leadership perspective series so we have a couple more Who are coming in on site here at one one and we're excited anybody them but again. Thank you so much for your time after brown and thank you. Those who listened. Have a good one next time..

"Become the leader now not everybody gets to be the leader but the still levels of leadership that and all of them do require a person of character the second the idea of communication great leaders know how to communicate Some communicate well and some communicate not as well. At least if you were to evaluate them formally. But i'm going to communicate whether you like it or not in not communicating communicating so And i think for me. I think a leader does two things. A leader tells a story and then a leader embodies that story particularly if you're the leader the idea of telling the story is Like the story of bryan bryan college I the president. So i've got to tell the story about brian where it came from where we are now. Were going now then includes mission vision and all that other. But there's a story that involves an in really wraps up everything that's there all the people that are there the future that is coming and so on. And that's the story that the leader tells if you're the pastor of a church you got story at you're leading us new school class. There's a story there of where you while you're there what you're doing. What the future will be for them and so on. And then you embody that in. That is if if this is a crisis center university. I need to be living christ-centered life. If i'm talking about the docs. Our school getting to this point that i needed talk about me getting to some point. What kind of follower of. Christ do i want to be Christians are great for having agendas but no vision. When when we don't look at what i'm what i really want to become as a christian we just do the same thing over and over you go to church. You go to church church one kind of christian you wh- you wanna stop doing. What do you want to start doing. What do you want to know that you don't know now what you want to be able to do that. You can't do now. that's why s. you in many ways really took I think it more prepares a soil for that kind of thing but It really helps. Christians realize i just can't stay. I mean i can play on all my life. My i know my my vocations. A no most important is. You're walking with christ. Where are you going to be And if you don't do it intentionally. Not going to be anywhere than you are now in and i remember my of my favorite sayings as you will not become in the future. What you're not becoming today I will say that tomorrow actually because it is so important well You say. I want to write a book. Know what you're really saying. Is i want to be writer. So what are you doing today. That makes you a writer You know those kind of things and what a leader does is you know in embodies that vision for whoever it is. They're lead the idea of competency. Of course you gotta know what you're doing you know you can't become president of university and not a lot of people do unfortunately and but i always Always felt like well when i was president. Felt like i had a hundred things. I gotta do today. Only have time to do ten. And i'm only good five of them so My one of my mottos was that you got a scheduled to your strengths and higher to your weaknesses. Yep where am i. We i am week. I'm not big detail. Even those was real math guy but when it came to details in follow up. I m doesn't say it doesn't interest me. But i don't consider it a priority but it really is already but nevertheless not not for me so i would hire people that were great at that you know. I have a tendency to be too positive about. People don't necessarily evaluate them Accurately i always think the best. And so i need somebody. That's not cynical. But i need somebody. That has a can They can read a room. they're more empathetic. I'm pathetic in a positive way. Somebody that's empathetic. That can understand and give me a different perspective on me and just knowing that those those are my weaknesses for example and the people around me as a leader to help me in that just demonstrates our leaders. You can't have it all but you are in this place of leadership you have these skills but you need these skills over here so aware. You're going to get that the help and you need to allow them to speak into your life as well and so the competency area is is important. And which means recognizing what you do well and what you need other people to do. So those are the three things. When i think of leadership taylor that i think It helps me a lot. Focus on those three things and usually got most of it covered pretty well now. That's great and to go off of that though. What do you think are some attributes that lead that leaders today are lacking in our culture. Oh well discernment number one There's a tendency of leaders to Play to the crowd And make people happy appear to try to be cool to fit in and now it's like to be woke to be progressive. All those kinds of things and you miss the whole point what it means to be a leader And i sometimes i see pastors and you've known a lot of pastors and big Well known christian leaders who have fallen many of them and just you wonder what what was it that got them off track and a lot of there was just wanting to To believe what people are saying about him number one. Yeah and then to crave that to be cool to set you know it's like the was that called the preachers and sneakers website. You know guy wearing five thousand dollar sneakers do that by accident yeah theocracy. You're wearing those. And there's pumpkin big and they looked so ugly but nine they are and so this major expansion has got those those five thousand dollar sneakers and so people and somehow he has justified in his mind by me wearing these sneakers. People are going to have think. I've got more credibility and then i listened to the gospel. They respond and I don't think so But but how the thinking goes what you're saying is prestige and power has become the new drug. Well you know that. That's a good way to put it We'll probably wouldn't use the word prestige. But i know what you mean by that. Its acceptance and in sense of. I think that he's really were that he knows what's going on and because he really knows what's going on. He says he preaches the gospel. I should be think somebody wearing a rolex. Watch and five thousand dollar sneakers. I go down. They're aiming there's some shine there that they're trying to do me timex time. Same thing. yeah that's true and and for those people who have those websites of instagram account. That you look at that idea. Count and it's like. Oh my gosh you know. And they're they're making fun of these guys. Yeah they're they're they're point is. Were showing the wealth of the church has and And the point is what jesus swear by dollar sneakers. I don't think he would. I i would. I would tend to agree with you. Tend to agree. I couldn't either. I couldn't kim. I you know it's just i was speaking with somebody gives them to me. I'll sell them profit that money way in my college kids especially well so you know. Somebody gave me these shoes i. You don't have to wear them everybody. Now there's this thing called sailing province yourself more usually than there Well that was great. Thank you at this stage near leadership journey dot year. You've accomplished a lot. You've led some large organizations Your published you. you're leading. What i think is one of the coolest assignments on the planet. Because you really do get to whiteboard how to help. People think and engage coulter At this stage of the journey what would you. How are you determining what your goals are. What's what are the word of the motivating factors for that and What does that look like. Yeah that's a good question because we do need When i think of goals i think vision because it's more it's more personal than just i want to achieve this Means if i do that. And i'm not there. Now what do i have to do in my own life for that to happen and.

"Gonna poor little more time into that. Well listen it's when you do something at the beginning of the end of any kind of a conversation. It's easy to edit out that we this doesn't get edited out so on a shame commercial. Plug here if you're listening and you're you're part of christian school or you know somebody that is you have children that are where would they just start. What's a website. What's the place they can go to learn about. Well i i will. I will give a shout to access. Because in many ways it's an outgrowth of a ministry i started at bryant and the worldview teams and so on and golson fellowship though is a chuck did yeah but access is. What i'm saying is if you're a parent Listening to this or even a youth pastor listening to this and you want some material right today. that you want you wanna talk to their kids about suicide. You wanna talk to them about billie eilish. You wanna talk to them about you. Name it Access has what they call conversation kits and soft that you can you can use to and you can read today in carry on a conversation with them about it and It is really really good. And every every friday they'll send you an email. The culture calculator altered later translator. So far and it'll tell you the top things that have happened in popular culture that the impact kids This week and so That nobody else is doing this. His his justice. Remarkable if somebody's interested in Getting involved in the colson fellows program. Of course she just go to colson center. Colson fellows yeah oregon and look it up and again. We're more next year. It's it's really interesting How it seems like. There's a lot of people who really feel that they're overwhelmed. It's hard to be a christian. In fact one fellow said to me. yes day before yesterday he said you know. It's really complicated being a christian now yet. you know. you're afraid if you say something you're going to cancel your rate if you don't say something then you're going to be looked down on onions. And so what do you do. How do you understand. How do you know the issues. I know the big ones but when we do. And that's what colson fellows program is designed to do to talk through all of that we get the best speakers everybody from odds guinness to the some of these other individuals who are are are working in this area all the time and conversations going on all the time and People that are having the same heart as you wanna do something but you don't want to go get a masters degree. Don't have time to do that. But you want to be able to talk to people about this and and this program actually does it's It's it's been a lot of fuss amazing. it's amazing. Your doctor thinks standard. We're gonna move onto a few leadership question and topic type things but two things that have always appreciated about your approach to teaching. Since that answer passion she said Is number one your patients. I remember people would no matter what you do. People think you're too liberally to conservative. But you never just ripe for so i. But i've watched on. Many occasions is someone's tried to throw a gotcha question or tried to orbit. Just been upset in the moment. You have a great patience about you. And then the second. One was a quality that i i studied in dietrich bond life and that was that he was able. Here's the scholar Who actually came to america and served In new york Goo just kind of adjunct or what's it called. When you audit auditing last union theologically and volunteering. As a sunday schoolteacher in a church a black church white german was a you know a very different experience. But he taught children's sunday school and he would spend just hours and hours and hours preparing his lesson with visuals and interactive things. And and as i look back on your teaching here you are this incredible scholar that is somehow able to use star wars to help us understand an idea or to break it down into a a a format that gives the listener confidence in the biblical worldview without it being over their head. That's a gift so to make big ideas. Understandable and to be patient in the process is a lazy jomon. That's why dr bill brown is one of my favorite teachers communicators. However you want to say that but people to learn from and there's a lot we can learn from dr brown about his his leadership and his perspective on leadership as well taylor on One of the first questions so again. And i know brand kind of reintroduce at the beginning but since we are our leadership perspective series. And it's really fun to get to be onsite here at our sou. One hotel just kind of interviewing different speakers and people who've we get to bring in to be a part of our sou on faculty to these students. And i mean. I'm joking but you might have heard some hotel room. Doors closed throughout this podcast. Because we're in our meeting right now. I want to just punch door right. And i'm like oh it's a public space so we can't say anything But anyway so it's really though. Get to be here just an interview. People who amazing people that we get to have to speak to our students but since we are going to just focusing on this concept this huge concept that everyone is talking about leadership In your line of work just where in your perspective in Where you're at personally right. Now what do you think are some really really important attributes To be seen in a leader in today's world and culture A good question For me this has always been Leadership because as a leader. Which which. Which i was for for a long time Public leader recognized leader university since. What I always thought three major things and those things are character. communication incompetency those. Three things. i think are the most important areas that you need to focus on Character is the whole idea of integrity. Entrust people will follow you if they trust you and They may not know you well but by how you carry yourself what you say how you treat people well either have trust grow or having diminish and so i think that is Very important because when you lead you're leading people mean you know i'm leading this organization leading the school. I'm not i'm leading. These people and each one is precious. you know and so So we take very seriously that sense of integrity and I have a character in the leadership position characters. Far more important than it would be if you were if you weren't leadership for example there was a fella who was a cfo of a company and he was known for telling funny jokes about people that he worked with. And so sometimes they were deprecating. But you know it's like hub. And then he became the ceo. We still telling those jokes. And i said he listen. I called him and said you can't tell the same jokes as the president that you told when you were vice president Because it means something when the top person is putting you down publicly. Here's one i said. There's a lot of things that happen when you.

"Chosen this one and god is and the holy spirit is working that through you and it's it's a much more intentional thing and make you more aware than a lot of people don't realize i have a world until you tell them right and tell them what it is. Wow i've got you know and I had that happen a lot in russia. When i would go and speak leap. Brilliant people say. I have a naturalistic worldview. I'm not sure. I want a natural and But yeah that was something that i think really transform bryan bryan was a small school getting smaller and it was At the world be emphasis which is still has the curriculum in a lot of things that are going on there still And i think that helped turn it around to make it something unique among college universities. How did you go from okay. This degree get your to being involved in higher education. Will you know interesting. One of the things that i did i went to dallas. You know for seven years and for the master's doctorate and One of the things they allowed you to do is to get involved in a lot of ministries to see where you felt god leading you and not. Everybody did that. But i did. Because i i. i didn't know anything about ministry you know. And so i did. Inner city ministry. Which i thought was really cool. We went overseas. Went to poland back when it was when it was still Communists for three three and a half months. did Some some preaching. I did some youth ministry and so but the thing i enjoyed the most was teaching. We had this lay institute where students like like like like i was could have a class and It would be advertised to the community and then people would come of for me. No i think it was like for six weeks or something and teach it. So here was his people. I've never met before. And i'm teaching them. I had to come up with lesson plans and all that. I'd never done it before. And it was really really good but the thing that made me mostly. This is what i needed to get into is because people would respond way beyond my abilities. You know i. I felt like i just stumbled through say was really really so good esser and i thought that must mean god is using this. There's a spiritual dimension that i don't know about but receivers to and so i thought let me let me do this. And so that's what i did and when i finished with my my doctorate I looked at colleges universities to teach adam. Brian had an opening and ended up there. ended up becoming eventually the president of that right right right and then you go on and serve as as university president and chancellor at another cedar ville. Yeah for ten years and left there about thirteen so got eight years ago. Yeah and what have you been doing. It tells what you'd be doing for the last eight years. What's going on right now. Well i have been you have a fascinating job. Let me just go okay. Everybody closely fascinating interesting. I do a lot of different things which is which is really cool. Because i i like that more generalist i. I was working with a company that the ukrainian company was a senior executive with this company. I was mentoring the leadership They were not believers. Because except holy the one whom i think you know all actually and And so I would go to kiev. Go to london. And i up to boston and i would work with their employees and everybody knew i was a christian. Most of them were not maybe one or two out of the two hundred The great great ministry and That was a real nice outlet in but then one of our Compatriots and graduate. Brian college johnstone stonestreet called me About a year and a half after. I'd left cedar. Villa was busy doing all these things and he asked me if i would come and help him. at at The colson center for christian worldview and It was of course started by chuck colson and of course center was just fascinating fascinating place to atop to learn because the goal there is to inform christians about what's going on in culture right so that you can give them insight and equip them to make a difference to to speak into that culture to minister into that culture and so on and of course. That's that's all i've been doing know and so I said yes. And he wanted to reboot the was called the centurions program and And this is a program which is It's a ten month program for people who want to be involved. They want to know more about culture. They want to know more about worldviews. And so and chuck would get one hundred people together A year and he would say these books that you've read and they would read these books in a systematic fashion. They'd get together two or three times a year. They're about one hundred of them and they'd have a two day conference and So and then you'd be commissioned as a centurion when tech passed away in two thousand and twelve that program kinda died Because people really just like come to hang with chuck Wouldn't want to spend time with charcoal some and so that's what john called me. Bassett could you kind of lead this program it. It died you know and so That's that's what i did. I came and i helped a little bit with the leadership of the of the whole colson center but focused on that will you've you've shifted. It's not a century in thing anything we're not quite as militant sounding now it's a fellowship and it is. It's a fellows program house program. And i took the program and it's not just reading books. It's pretty it's pretty robust. It's got the books But also Allow devotional out of video interaction. Got john lennox at harvard. Medical school about the problem of suffering and answering questions from that not is not hostile. But it's not a friendly crowd but listening to what he says and how he says it is so instructive Oh let's life give me going as awesome. And it's a real hopeful kind of approach to being created the skull riding moment and So this is the fifth year and we just finished the fish. That's actually leave your and your fine but we had five hundred in the program. Wow it's just really blown up. And so i very exciting. And i'm focusing. Now we hired a fella to kind of do the tactics of the of that. But i'm really more interested in Teachers and christian schools Going to the program so that they can really educate the kit equipped. The kids Because you can edit this out if you want. But it's a whole lot of christian schools talk about Teaching from a christian worldview or a biblical worldview And to them. It's teaching the bible. Thought what it is and you need to keep up and and someone that's why access is very helpful uses using that that group it is a wonderful group so the the reality is now that Some schools are doing this. It's transforming the way they teach their classes that one big school in ohio is actually using view and culture stuff met letter from for them for their entire chapel program. And it's just not gonna get socks off their dislike. This is awesome talking about things. I mean who talks to kids about. Lgbtq stuff their parents probably not their their smartphone of course and that's where they're learning this kind of thing is wide open and it's been really good And i'm.

"Brent crow and i'm joined by my co host taylor h glow. Thank you so much for tuning this week. If life's journey we wanna help you wander well if life the story. We just simply want to help you tell a good one and i'm really really excited to either That this week we get to i. I don't this is gonna sound a little sappy. Forgive me but we talk to one of my favorite people in the world. Yeah somebody. I've looked up to for over twenty years. Oh miss villa loader anyways and but none other than dr bill brown and so dr brown. I don't want to give too much away. Because i'd love for you to kind of share the wikipedia version of your story with our with our listeners. But you and. I met at a time in my life when i was really good at one thing. And that was being a knucklehead and so you were my college president A little while. Back when i was a bryan college and wasn't really taken and then get. There was just a great kindness. I remember i remember your last talk in chapel which you directed at the whole school was there but obviously you were speaking to the seniors. Those of us graduating. And i remember you looked at us and you said and then repeated at a little bit when our parents were in the room to but you said You said that your view of god's going to turn so much about your life so when you leave this place keep developing a healthy view of god. I remember you telling us that. And then the last thing you told us this he said listen. Always remember everybody you meet is infinitely valuable there forever. Important to god i. That was twenty some odd years ago. I remember that and so you were my college president You've had an incredible career and education. I won't i'll let you mentioned what you're presently do and but you've also spoken for several years. Now gosh over ten fifteen maybe whatever. It is teaching world view at student leadership university. So with all of that in mind. Welcome to the elephants podcast. Thank you brent. Thank you brent. You taylor yes. Yes blessing and Knucklehead didn't get the master's degree but the guy. Yeah thank god. It's fascinating isn't when you think back to all the things as allowed you to do. Yeah yeah it's just this life yes sir. The many times new testimony so yeah You asked me about about me. Oh yeah just kind of i hate to. It's it's the simplest an artist questions. Same loaded which tell us your life but you know what i mean. How far do i go back. I mean i think when you talk about where you grew up and i love you share with our students times. Some of those childhood dreams were and you were going to be in a completely different field than you're presently in and so i think some of that's helpful okay. Okay well Actually i grew up in florida and i went to very large high school. Blessed to be the student body president and captain and but my dream was to go into space Love science. Oh university of south florida during that process however Which was a life changing. Gotten over it yes sir and I still went ahead and finish the degree and everything dissipating do something because of four or signing when i work out workout. It's love it. I still watch youtube keeping up with the latest. Yeah that's what i to go on youtube and micron theory lectures. Yeah we have a club but -ality is different plants from that was met my wife Beat lan and we just celebrated and big anniversary s and went to build more and stayed the say a couple of days. We always do that. It's twenty minutes from our house but the The reality of from then on. I went to graduate school. Yes and got a masters in a phd in biblical studies Because i wanted to know the by was not really all that interested in guide in the bible and i didn't even have a bible when i came to christ and so i started Started reading and studying. But i was a scientist to. I wanted to know. Greek and window hebrew when a frenchman. No german would history wanted to know philosophy. I wanted to all of it. And when he wanted to tell me anything wanted to find it out for myself which is a lot of pride and arrogance wrapped up in that as well A question around there. This is a thought that don me that i. I've never maybe have connected these dots before. But when i was your student at bryan college we You required all of the students to get or not required. That sounds a little harsh but it was an opportunity that by the time we graduated we would all have a minor in bible. Is that where that came from that experience a lot of it was that and transforming that that bible degree into something that was much more substantive than it was before. Okay used to be Taking old testament survey new testament survey in that that's a biblical worldview right and Of course it wasn't and instead we started talking about biblical worldview and understand what world views are understanding. What culture has everybody has a world view. You have to get when you have one because you're creating image likeness of god and so. Let's cultivate that. Let's understand the other world views as well and then in that context learn the scriptures. You at the word of god drivers to the god of the word And those kinds of things. I think help a lot for those who went to brian. Cut time to not only know the content of the bible right to let the content of the bible. No and so well. I tell you i mean i know there's more to tell your story but i cannot sit down in front of. You've ruined it for me doc. I'm just going to. I can't watch a movie. i can't read a book. Can't want to show our series or whatever it is without going okay. The ism transcendental ism ended all those categories natural and then and that was kind of taught to me over the course of four years and it literally created. And you're the first practice ever heard used this phrase that that by the time you leave here you'll be able to see the world around you through the grid of scripture and so through the grit. I've used that phrase my whole ministry because that's what taught me and Of course i. I don't know if i- footnoted you every time but i hope i have. I've tried to i haven't this clears all that up. And so but that boy that framework i just. I can't tell you how grateful i am. I know that your story. No no no but to have thought my whole life through that lens that you provided for us which you know. The thing is in many ways god provided for you and you accepted it because you can have a worldview. You've got a grid you're looking at everything through the lens of your worldview and not even know it and Now you know what it is and now you have a name for it. Now you know how it compares to other world views. But you've.

"The Bills Browns over the chief's bucks over the Saints. Trace. Which one you going? What's your final pick here? This'd stuff I'm going to go. I'm gonna go Ravens over bills. Wow. Interesting because earlier you said you did like The Ravens over the Bills. All right, why Ravens over the bills? As the difference maker. God thinking that you probably went Buck saints is Thea. Correct? Yes, I'm with you and you limited to go to right away. Browns and Rams on with you for me is Guess what? I just look at the Saints. Now. I personally don't believe that Tom Brady lose the same team three times. What that said. The styles of play, I think do have a factor as to why the Saints have an advantage to blobs earlier. This so right, I've handled them right. So I just think that maybe Outside of the fact. Okay. You just can't pick somebody losing three times to one team the same time the same year. Maybe it actually, you know, truly is. Hey, listen, they skin that run both offensive defensive gives the Buccaneers fits that can match up against the cannon just against it. Your point. You know, we hear about Bruce areas you trusted and make some adjustments. I didn't say I got a guy that makes a lot of adjustments to be personally, His with that game's gonna come down to that game's gonna come down to if the Saints could harass Brady. Yeah, but can Jordan with also if Trey Hendrickson plays I know I didn't play last week. He was top five and sacks this year shouldn't be the Pro Bowl. That's what that game is gonna come down to. If you give Brady the time of day if you allow Brady to sit back, especially with how that offense is now in sync with Godwin with Evans with Gronk looking better, Cameron Braid A B Regardless of who's at running back with the health problems there. The bus will win that game. But if you put Brady on his bottom and hey, this is not I'm not telling anyone. Anything they haven't heard before. How does Brady lose? They lost the Jets of the playoffs. But being in that year, 45 to 3 the Pats should the Jets have beat the Patriots? No. Had they beat him? They put Brady on his ass. Baltimore Ravens. When they walked into Fox Fur had they beat him. They put Brady on his butt and they run the football. Giants. They developed the blueprint. How they be Brady. They put him on his bottom. Even the Denver Broncos where you had Ben Watson chasing down, Champ Bailey and some people are gonna look at that. They're gonna go. Oh, wow. I see that before. I saw that this year with Dickie Metcalfe and put a baker Watching. Ben wants it did that to Champ Bailey. Even that playoff game, the first time Brady playoff loss in his career. Had they do that. How they beat them. They put Brady on his butt. If you put Brady on his focus You could be Brady. You know what kind of scares me about this game? It's what you just said. Trace. And everyone saying it. I'm saying it. You're saying it. Trent Green was saying it when he joined us earlier, Tom Brady's AKA lose to a team three times in a season. Doesn't it almost seemed as if everyone and I mean everyone. I had to look out. People are picking this in Vegas. It seems to have everyone has taken the box. Because of that notion. Oh, you know what they say The cliche It's tough to be the team three times in a season. Does it happen? We may be all overlooking this. Are we? Maybe not appreciating the Saints. And now they have back a healthy Michael Thomas. I think that game's gonna be close. Think that game's coming right down to the wire. But even with all I said, I'm still taking the Saints. You lose the game. State. So the box or winning? Yeah. Okay. I'm taking the saints. Don't lose the game through me off. Yeah, you look to be clear my going crazy. Did you just change it? And also, I guess I was kind of also little bit misleading. When you said the Ravens over the bills, and I was like, Wow, I was just trying to process what you were saying. I think that's the right answer, and that's coming from someone that I'm not totally convinced. That the Ravens are going to take down the bills. If you listen to the show, I've been flip flopping on that all throughout the week. I don't like to foot block with picks. I hate one talk show host through that. Were earlier in the week. Hey, I love the Baltimore Ravens and later on in the week, let me hedge my bet. You know, I'm gonna take the bills so that when it comes on Monday, Oh, you know, I thought the Ravens earlier in the week and then later on the week I thought the bills, but at least they could say early the week. I like the Ravens. The Ravens win. Then later in the week, you know, Iike eventually say all while least I did pick the bills that the bills end up winning. The only reason why I'm foot flapping on that game is it's a damn tough game to pick. Now, if we're being real by my record this year to come Look, I think I'm a gamer to above 500. As I have done better the last three weeks. In December and January, given most of December was cold. But in the final week of dissent of December Started to heat up and in January of the shop. So I think about this Look at all these matchups. Can I envision the Rams beat in the Packers? Can I envision it have conviction? No. Even with how much I like the rand's defense. Can I envision? The FC the Browns beating The cheese. I just did a segment on her about six minutes ago, with the Browns going up against the bills in a NFC Championship game, but that's not realistic. Even though the Chiefs have been sloppy for the second half of the season, have played a clean game. You have to give you a way that the Browns go in the game. Dominate the time of possession, long drives touchdowns with their backs. I think the Browns are gonna win this game. No, I don't. Turn the other two games. And the difference. Saints Bucks. Toss up Ravens bills Tossem. So what? What's the difference here? Well, the difference is going to be.

Elements That Contribute to Healthy Building
"Studies show that people are happier healthier and more productive when they spend time buildings that include elements of nature. There's lots of different ways. We can bring nature into the built environment. People think it's just means bringing plants in there but it could also be bringing water and daylight and natural resources use of natural materials. Bill Browning is a partner at terrapin bright green a sustainable building design firm. He says many of these features are also good for the climate for example when designing building with nature in mind. I'm really gonNA emphasize delighting where I can natural ventilation both of which dramatically lower the energy so the building if done well Browning says designed can also make people more aware of local ecology for example. His firm often uses reclaimed wood or rough hewn stone. That reflects buildings location and carefully. Placed windows can encourage people to observe the changing seasons or butterflies visiting a pollinator garden so bringing these experiences of nature and tying you to those experiences nature and the built environment hopefully helps you think differently about where you're and more connected to the environment outside your four walls.
