"The company made quote beauty unattainable. What does that mean? May beauty unthinkable. Most women could not look like Victoria's Secret models. That's correct. So what? So what? This is an example. This whole piece in the Atlantic is an example of how feminism has weakened women. A strong woman knows, wow. Look at that. She is really sexy. She could say that. And move on with life. Anywhere I'm not going if I'm gonna take your calls in a moment. The attack on Victoria's Secret in the Atlantic and, of course, the bigger theme, women dressing up provocatively and God forbid even objectifying themselves. That's the ultimate sin. Much better that they get a PhD in gender studies. And learn that there's no such thing as male and female, that it's continuum. That's a healthy woman. Yes. Not a woman who might dress up to be appealing to men, oh my God. For the feminist, there was nothing lower than such a woman. Pleasing men, that's what that's what that's what she writes. She hates. The company made beauty unattainable. A particularly stupid comment. That's true in every area of life. Sports, most men can not can not match the talent or the body of most athletes. Every professional arena is an arena of the unattainable for the vast majority of us. So what? So what? Or this is what they do constantly at the Atlantic and elsewhere. They throw out lines because all they do is talk to one another, so they assume that everybody reading it just agrees with them. There's no need to make the case for it. That's correct. There was a level of beauty that is unattainable for the vast majority of women. So what? A mature woman knows that and goes and understands see my video. It's the one I might be proudest of of the 50 I've done for PragerU. He wants you. That's the name of the video. About how men really think. With regard to the sexuality of women. It's called he wants you, that is prayer, watch it. Take 5 minutes. But in any event, yes, it's unattainable. So therefore, we should have models. This is the new thing. This is with Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Therefore, models should look like the average woman. But then they're not models. And what's the big deal? That there are women who will feel inferior, well, then we should have nobody excel at anything. Men will feel inferior to CEOs who make more money. Why would we allow that? Because feminism weakens women. That's a column. I wrote recently. While confining female sexual exploration to the realm of male fantasy. By the way, part of female sexual exploration is living out male fantasy. Yes, in part not entirely, but they're sort of complimentary. He wants to look, and I want him to look at me. Why is that bad? Why it might lead you to wondered that so many of us buy what Victoria's Secret was selling. Because the woke had not yet controlled American life and told women how to think. They had this odd notion that to look sexy, was in a bad idea. It's a bad idea to the Atlantic. What many women seem to want was to be whatever they thought men wanted. Well, whereas men, men, men don't want what women want. It shouldn't be surprising that against this backdrop of colorful corporate misogyny. What does that mean colorful corporate misogyny? Women were allegedly being abused and mistreated. What does that have to do? With the models. And the way they dressed. I have not followed Victoria's secrets. Secrets as it were. That some women allege presumably from this article that they were mistreated, that is completely wrong, says nothing to do with mistreatment. They're not the same thing. But I guess for the feminist it is, it mistreats women. When they dress up in a gaze worthy way. Finally, was the show of fantasy, in reviewing its aesthetic, uncanniness over the years, its racist imagery, oh, if she finally got it in, yes, it's racist imagery. Why exactly? See, it's not even explained. For the left you throw out a charge, and since the only people you talk to agree with you on everything, you don't need to actually make the case. Why is that racist imagery in Victoria's Secret? Were there no black models? I literally don't understand what does she mean? It's ritualistic of themes as mundane as stars and Christmas. Oh my God. It's sexified, stars and Christmas. Wow. Because they had a Christmas show. Well, at least they called it Christmas. It's more than the Atlantic does around Christmas. I'm sure they have a holiday party, not a Christmas party. It's planet killing abuse of sequins. Do you understand what that is? Sequence killed the planet? It's like they talk to one another in code. The one constant I condemn identify is the idea that women need to suffer. To be deemed desirable. Boy, this an idiot. Because some of the models said that they would fast and work out tremendously to look the way they did. Don't athletes suffer. To be athletes, don't be an athlete if you don't want to suffer..
Courage in the Face of the Left
"Is it also a matter that you're more courageous today? Yeah, I think that I've definitely, when I first started making content, I was definitely really afraid to do it. Not only because of fear of judgment from people, but also because of my beliefs and I know that I don't say they're unpopular, but the loud people will find them unpopular, you know. And so I guess that was a part in it. But I think also now the fact that I'm more knowledgeable just in general would have helped me in that situation speak up. Have you met any other prager force members? Not in person, but I did the prager pairs for a little while. And I met somebody through that, and I actually got I started, I had started in prager force because I noticed that will and Amelia were getting banned on TikTok, and I texted Amelia and gave her the email that had helped me get unbanned to the community manager. And she, after I gave it to her, she had told me that I should join her for us.
Sociology and Politics in America
"Forgive me one moment camp. People need to understand how much we have to spend to get the attention of young people who would not know of us if we didn't spend that money to publicize. So I want people to understand that's why we could touch young people. Are you, are you in an area that is generally conservative? I'm in a red county, but just like, I guess, kind of any place. It's the more rural areas or you'll find more conservatives in that in the towns where it's congested. You'll find more liberals. Did you homeschooled or did you go to public school? I went to public school. And the schools in your area to the best of your knowledge obviously are now 22. You're not attending such a school. Are they woke? I don't think that our schools really look. I think that there was a lot of things left out that should have been taught that were not, but it wasn't really, I didn't really get a good dose of, I guess, wokeness until I went to college and took a sociology class where I never heard the end of Palestine and other political issues. Right. Well, the relationship between sociology and Palestine is so obvious, too, to anyone. I'm an amazing even mentioned it.
TikTok's Ban on Concervatives
"Read, you got let me understand this. It says here that you had over one and a half million followers on TikTok before getting deplatformed. Is that accurate? Yeah. I actually had that account and it was first temporarily banned for like three months. It would be 7 day temporary bins where I can't post. Those would come one after another with no violations in between and no explanation. And then they'd cut right to permanent bands with no explanation. So I would email TikTok's community manager. Our community manager and they would unban me and that happened and then I would get banned again and that happened over 60 times. 60. And wait. Sorry. Wow. I said 60 and he fell over. Are you okay, cab? I'm seeing him and you can see him as well, my Friends on at the Salem news channel. Are you still your camera fell? Okay, don't worry about it. It happens to the best of us. So I don't understand. You can be banned from TikTok and they give no reason. Yeah, they give sometimes they will just say that it is a community guidelines violation and sometimes they will cite a specific community guideline.
Boston Hospital Warns Workers of Far Right Attacks Online
"This is a headline on NBC News. Correct? Is that it? NBC News? Let's see. Yep, NBC News dot com. You would think they would have it on the top here. Here is the headline Boston children's hospital warns employees over far right online harassment campaign. The hospital became the target in recent weeks of activists, who made a variety of false claims about medical treatment provided to young transgender people. So I am among those who think that Boston children's hospital is warped. I would never send a child there. Because these people, many of them, not all, there must be saintly people at Boston children's hospital, but like many saints, they're also cowards and don't speak up.
Liz Cheney Fights the Wrong Fight
"What the hell is wrong with you? There's a sickness in your soul. There is. And I say this with samus and say, I know the people I'm referring to. I don't know Liz Cheney. This is what gives you moral strength. Donald Trump's evil? But he was president four years. What did he do bad? Don't tell me he doesn't like women. Don't tell me he's a liar. Tell me what he did bad. They can't. They can't. There's no such list of the harm Donald Trump did to this country. There's a giant list of the harm the Democrats due to this country and people like Liz Cheney have decided to fight the first and not the second.
Cheney's Big Loss
"Does Liz Cheney know what is happening in our schools? It's just not a rhetorical question. I wondered do the people, what is it called the Lincoln, The Lincoln Project? Do they know what is happening to children? Because of the left and yet their whole raison d'etre is to fight Donald Trump. They're disappointed in the Republican Party for having nominated him? And in half this country and having elected him, Joe Biden is a finer human being, does Liz Cheney believe that? I assume there's no other possible read. Then her judgment of humans, in my opinion, is so flawed as to render her incapable of a leadership position. That you have so personalized what is an ideological battle. What would she have said in World War II when it was a real evil human being that America deeply supported named Joseph Stalin?
Caratini's 2-run single in 11th rallies Brewers over Dodgers
"The floundering brewers blew a late lead but then rallied from a one run deficit in the bottom of the 11th inning to beat the Dodgers 5 to four Victor caratini delivered a one out bloop single to score the tying and winning runs then after the brewers loaded the bases against Dodgers closer Craig kimbrel brewers left Fielder Christian Yelich says instead of important series It's kind of a big stretch in our season just to be able to win as many as we can and they're obviously a great team and if you beat them you earn it The Dodgers had taken a what road lead in the top of the 11th on Justin Turner's RBI base hit Check Freeman Milwaukee
Why People Are Backtracking on Their Hardline Anti-LIV Stance
"There's going to be legal battles kind of up the ass here and you're right, man. If they're taking if you're taking all this money and you're playing over there and the PGA Tour says you can't come back, whatever. That's fine. Also, now kind of Davis love was even backtracking. He came out today because he was super like, I don't want anybody that's affiliated with Liv on the president's cup team, blah, blah, blah. And then I just saw that quote for him today, and he was like, well, you know, maybe if the PGA Tour didn't require 15, and then the lived in require those guys to play 14, maybe there's a way these can coexist where we have our biggest events. They have their biggest events and guys kind of mix and match throughout the whole day. There's a lot of and I wouldn't really call him a hypocrite at all 'cause he's a a plus solid guy. But, you know, he's probably looking at the big picture where he's like, shit, can't number two player in the world's going cam Smith, British open champ. Hideki, he was rumored to go biggest player in all of Asia. We need those guys. We need the dollars for him. We need the dollars from Asia. We need people watching the PJ tour. We need all this stuff. You know, at some point it's a business. You know, Rory Rory's backpedaled with his comments a little bit. So I think in my opinion, it might end up the best thing ever for people that actually like to watch golf. You might watch these guys at all the biggest tournaments.
Did Scottie Scheffler Walk Through Cameron Smith's Line on Purpose?
"Did you see scheffler walking through cam smith's line, the pictures or videos or all that? Do you think that was a deliberate deal or do you think that was just whatever. I mean, when you look at cam smith's face looking back, he's like, he gave he's like, what the fuck is happening type scenario? Yeah. What did you make of that whole ordeal? I don't know. I don't really care. I think it's just one of those deals. I just don't really give a shit. Like, who cares? Who cares? It gets much couple golfers. It's a couple golfers. It doesn't matter. There's nothing happened. Even if he deliberately does. Even if it was deliberate, they're not going to ever we're not going to know their golfers, bro, it's not like they're going to fight it out after the round. We're never going to know. They're going to be like, because I heard on the broadcast yesterday, everyone was talking about it. They're like, oh yeah, they were joking about it in the locker room after it's not a big deal. But that's what they were going to say regardless if it was deliberate or not. It's golf. You're expected to be a gentleman. Gentleman's game. They're not going to be like, oh man, they went. They got to fist a cuffs in the parking lot afterwards. It was tough. It's not going to happen. So I will never know. I don't think we'll know if it's liquid. I mean, I'm sure that he's getting Cameron Smith is getting yelled at and called a trader and whatever. I mean, I'm sure that's happening. This week. And we don't even know if he's going yet. A lot of these rumors turned out the just back just that rumors and fake news. So
Why Doesn't the Alabama AG Start an Investigation Into Hunter Biden?
"Times dot com writes Hunter Biden probe reaches into Arkansas, according to lawyer in paternity case. The New York Times reports today on the continuing investigation of Hunter Biden. The president's son, key news today, he paid a federal tax bill, which might be a factor in which he could face any criminal consequences in an investigation that began during the Obama administration. So it's a federal investigation invited investigating Hunter Biden. They're doing that obviously in a way to try to remove Hunter Biden, but here's a question, why is the attorney general of Arkansas? What's her name Leslie Rutledge, probably a nice person. She seems really sweet. Why does she not have an active criminal investigation into Hunter Biden? Now you might say, well, Charlie, that's not very fair. We don't do stuff like that. Well, they're only going to continue. They will audit you, they will try to bankrupt your business. They will go after a small business until they realize there is a price to this nonsense. Go read Machiavelli understand their Bible, power can only be checked with power. I don't like talking like this. I wish we could have a big argument about it and a big debate that America is over.
Feds Lied About Confiscating Trump's Passport
"To, I want to bring to your attention a bit of fake news. This is always, it's an educational process here on the tan star's radio program. You as a news consumer, you've got to do your homework. You just can't take things for granted in the mainstream media anymore. You just can't. It's a horrible time to be a journalist in America. Because there are none. Except for the ones we hire, and there are a few other places out there, breitbart does a good job. Some sections of The Wall Street Journal do a decent job. Newsmax does a great job. So anyway, yesterday on this program, we told you that the FBI, they seized president Trump's passports. That is a huge deal. By the way, that is a civil rights violation. Mike cernovich pointed this out on his Twitter feed. He says seizing president Trump's passport is a big deal because it shows the warrant was over broad and unlawful. The FBI outright stole whatever it wanted like Nazi goons. We'll be curious if recording devices were planted. Yeah, we were raising those questions yesterday. We wanted to know what they planted what they left behind. That Mar-a-Lago. So anyway, it was, I mean, the president of the United States came out and said, hey folks, they stole my passports. So then the Justice Department comes out and denies it. Never happened. We didn't do that. Well, these folks are not the brightest bulbs in the lamp over at FBI headquarters because it turns out that they did and the Trump campaign actually had the receipts. They've got the emails.
Today, Vote for Harriet Hageman & Kelly Tshibaka
"If you were in Wyoming today Harriet hagerman go out and vote for her Liz Cheney has got to go She has been a disaster although yes she has taken some conservative votes the most important thing she could have done is stop the government tyranny targeting Donald Trump and what did she do She contributed to it It was like a chia pet She put water in that little fertilizer on She did this Her and Adam kinzinger they've disgraced themselves and all of this BSO they did it on principle is crap None of this had anything to do with principles and everything to do with trying to find a pathway to relevancy after the Conservative Party cast you aside the conservative movement because they realized you cared about getting in front of the cameras rather than doing the right thing Same thing in Alaska We have a big audience in Alaska and Wyoming please get out today and vote no excuses Please Kelly Chewbacca over Lisa Murkowski vote Kelly and go to the next race Kelly Chewbacca super important Murkowski's got to go
Donald Trump Jr. Whether He Believes There Will Be an Indictment
"There's a belief that it's inevitable that your dad will be indicted that they're going to find something that they're going to make something up. They're going to do anything they can. To try to prevent him from running again in 2024. Do you agree with that? Do you think that's inevitable? Do you think we're seeing that next or is there nothing there? And they're just going to have to keep trying. Yeah, you know, I don't think there's anything there. But again, there's got to be a reason in my opinion that they say, hey, we can't let your lawyers watch what's going on. You got to turn off all the close circuits. Television, security cameras that Mar-a-Lago. You must do that. I mean, why? I mean, if you're doing this and you think there's really something there, why wouldn't you want a witness to be able to say, hey, this stuff's legit? When we asked for the records, when we want to unseal the warrant. No, we can't do that. And Merrick Garland has no problem. He goes on TV. We want to be totally transparent, Mike. We want to be very transparent about what's going on. And then about 5 minutes later, once the camera is in the mainstream media, they get that sound bite. They run with it at nausea. Oh, we can't. We can't actually be transparent because, you know, we'd give up X, Y, Z, and it's all a big lie. So if you were actually trying to be above board, and it was anything beyond another yet another witch hunt, why would you act that way? Why would you do these things? So, you know, there's no question in my mind. They're trying to figure out anything to stop Trump because they see him as the only threat in the Republican Party. I mean, the rest of the Republicans, frankly, they're either too weak or they're still beholden somewhat someone like Donald Trump who's successful and rich on his own and doesn't need them and doesn't need the future board seat at big war or whatever it is to make a living. That's a real threat to these guys power.
Donald Trump Jr.: The Conspiracy to Truth Gap Is Now 6 Seconds
"It's an absolute clown show. It's a total disgrace. And then the DoJ and the FBI then use their Democrat media complex to create the false narratives. They leak, you saw what noro Donald tried doing about the passports? No, the passports weren't taken. Yes, they were. It took about 6 seconds to disprove what she did. I'm sure she could have figured that out. Had she bothered to ask and had she bothered to look beyond what she wanted to desperately report. Donald Trump was lying. The conspiracy theory to truth gap used to be about 6 months. All this supposed conspiracy theorists, it took about 6 months for them to be proven correct. Now it takes about 6 seconds, Mike. And people are pissed off. Americans are, they get it. The people who have been agnostic that people who haven't been very political, they're watching this stuff and the Democrats and their media counterparts and the DoJ and the FBI and the other deep state cronies of theirs, they've taken it so far that they've actually sort of woken a sleeping giant, which is a big part of America who just sort of stayed politically neutral, works hard to put food on their plates and feed their families. Those people are looking at this and saying, Jesus, if this was going on in a banana republic, you know, we'd be in there trying to take over those countries and it's happening right here at home and we've had enough. It's
Dinesh Examines Fate of Liz Cheney on Day of Wyoming Primary
"Today is a big day with two important primaries. There is the Wyoming primary, which I'm going to talk about now, and then also the Alaska primary, which I'm going to be talking about later with Kelly shabaka. Now, Liz Cheney is not going to have a good day. I think it's fair to say she is going to not just be defeated, but kind of walloped trashed, humiliated. By let's remember someone who kind of came out of nowhere. I mean, who heard of Harriet hagman? When I had Harriet anchorman on the podcast, she seemed, well, she seemed very green, very new to politics. And kind of finding her way. And I have to say that Harriet hagerman has turned out to be a pretty formidable candidate. And by that, I mean she has zoomed in on certain key themes. I don't know if you've seen her or ad, what she talks about, you know, we're fed up, we're fed up with inflation, we're fed up with what happened in Afghanistan and it has the climactic statement and we're fed up with Liz Cheney and then she just like walks off the stage. And so one of the themes of Harriet hagerman has been that. To associate herself with the maga agenda and to make a blistering critique of Biden. And she's done that. The other is to emphasize that she hagerman is a real creature of Wyoming. And Liz Cheney is, well, I think at one point she even calls her the virginian because she has a home in Virginia. So the idea here is that Liz Cheney is part of the swamp. And so as I say, hagerman has run a good campaign, and I think this explains not just her lead. She probably would have a lead anyway, but the magnitude of her lead.
Charlie Pierce Believes Rudy Giuliani Is About to Flip
"By the way, Chris just saw something interesting that Rudy Giuliani just said, speaking of oh, no, Rudy Giuliani didn't say it. Oh, and his former aide did. His former top aide did. He said, Giuliani is nervous over the Georgia investigation and that Giuliani's goal now is to quote die a free man. Does that mean Charlie? Yeah, well, number one, he's going to flip number one. Number one is health is pretty rocky, but then again, he's been drinking a gallon of scotch for lunch. 2020. So who knows? Yeah. Second of all, yes, I believe he is about to flip like a pancake. Wow. I believe Rudy is not stupid. Yeah. And by the way, was this his top end? Was this one of his top aides that he didn't marry? Yeah, four words said he is nervous about being targeted in the criminal investigation in Georgia. He said it's a big deal for his old boss saying Rudy flew too close to the sun. He got too close to Trump and he got burned. He knows how the DoJ works. He knows how the FBI works. He knows these are ridiculous investigation. I know he's nervous. He could have flown to Georgia, you know, he flies all over the world, so it was just a typical taptic to try to postpone the inevitable. He knows that he concocted the scheme. He knows he lied for his client and he knows we all know. I think at this point in his life his goal is to die a free man. Yeah. He's gonna flip.
Rep. Liz Cheney takes on Trump-backed challenger for Wyoming house seat
"Liz Cheney is bracing for a loss as Republicans weigh in on the GOP's direction before November's elections Cheney is fighting to save the house seat she and her dad have held in Wyoming after Republicans around the state and nation essentially excommunicated her for calling out Donald Trump and his election lie This is Donald Trump's legacy But it can not be the future of our nation Her futures now on the line in a state where Trump won big in 2020 She just
Even Paris Jackson Was a Victim of the Liberal 'Apology Culture'
"Speaking of bullshit apologies, even Paris Jackson. Had to come up with a whole bunch of I'm sorry when she appeared on the cover of Harper's bazaar Singapore. Because some fans and some outlets out there criticized it for helping promote an organization in a country where being queer is a punishable event. And I'm sure you're all read this magazine because it's a major magazine. So, you know, this is on Twitter and this is a big story around the Internet. So I'm sure everybody read the article. In the very popular with the millions of subscribers gay star news. Okay. What was written in gay star news, which maybe is a publication that rolls on the street during a windy night in West Hollywood. They publish in it a fucking torial calling Jackson's decision to appear on the cover hypocritical. And then, you know what you did? Michael Jackson's daughter deleted her Instagram post showing the cover, and she made an official statement on Twitter. I didn't know. I'm sorry. I was grateful for the opportunity, but I'll delete the post now. I don't want to be hypocritical or hurt anybody. And my support for my fellow LGBTQ RST UV, WX why the fuck am I reading this list? first before my love for fashion and gratitude for this opportunity. Shut the fuck up,

"So they happen to be benefiting from the fact that they make a product that is relatively easy to make. And kudos to them for making the changes that need to be done to preserve those margins. There's expenses with shifting production. There's expenses associated with going to east coast stocks instead of West Coast stocks. But if you can maintain the margins they're maintaining even with those added expenses, that's pretty impressive. Shares of IBM are down to 8% today after a mixed third quarter report. Their revenue was light in the global services division and the cloud and cognitive software division. And the problem is that those are IBM's two biggest divisions. Well, Chris. Yeah, it was an uninspiring report. Investors waiting for the managed infrastructure business to be spun off in November. But this report, gosh, revenue up fractionally. Basically flat. And as you said, cloud and cognitive software up 3%. That's a relatively anemic. There was strength in cloud and data platforms that was offset by their transaction processing business. Revenue from the acquired Red Hat business, which is going to be really important to their cloud business going forward, was up 17%. So you can hang your hat, no pun intended on that number. That's not too shabby. Their global business services, which is everything else that they do is up about 12% with consulting up 17%. So that's actually surprisingly strong to me. If you normalize the business and strip out the part of the business that is going to be spun off, you get revenue up about 2.5%, again, rather uninspiring. The new business, by the way, it's going to be called kind drill with a K and a KY and DR YL. And I know you're wondering where that name comes from. I'm Chris. I'll tell you. It's derived from the words kinship and tendril to get kind drill. And I know we love to make fun of these names from time to time. That's one just as wonky as in the other I've heard. Their medium term objectives for their business going forward, medium single, digit revenue growth. Boy, that's not that exciting, guys. So I don't think there's a lot to love here. Balance sheet's okay, they are still producing fair amounts of free cash flow that they can use to reinvest in the business. Let's see what happens when they spin off Kindle in November. Shares are awfully cheap, but 12 to 13 times earnings. But they kind of should be there because the business results in the earnings growth are relatively uninspiring. But let's keep an eye after the spin off. Okay, first of all, Kendra is a name that is inviting people to make fun of it. So it would be rude not to accept. Exactly. Especially when you offer up that type of definition. I'm sure that people who came up with that name and that are very proud of what they do. I'm sure there was probably many meetings with PowerPoint presentations and yeah. But there is a zero chance that the people of Crocs who need help with their branding are going to call the people at IBM who came up with Kendra..

"Foolery chris with me today. Our man in north carolina awesome sharma. Thanks for being here. Chris thank you for having me so excited to be here today. We've got some big retail to talk about and we're going to start with walmart. One hundred forty one billion dollars worth of stuff. That's what walmart's sold in the second quarter. Same store sales growth in the. Us was five percent foot. Traffic is growing. Shares of walmart are flat but given what the market is doing today almost feel like if the market were flat than walmart would be up a couple of percentage points but worth pointing out that it's close to an all time high yes walmart stock is doing well as you mentioned that. One hundred forty one billion dollars in revenue for one quarter sort of boggles the mind for a retailer. It's like those little visualizations on youtube. When you ask hey. how big is the cosmos. How many stars are there out there and take a look and you realize how mass that number is this is sort of the same way and yet the company continues to generate increases in sales really significant increases in profits. I love that. Their e commerce sales grew six percent on top of a really difficult comparison from the prior year when everyone was stuck at home to year. Comparison is one hundred three percent so that just shows you how much that e commerce piece has grown today. They said that the e commerce sales are on track to reach seventy five billion dollars by the end of the year as an annualized number so everything about walmart is big today. But as you mentioned chris the market is down. We got an economic report that said retail sales in the us or down Think one point one percent so maybe looking pass this quarter and looking ahead..

"Definitely don't miss the park skateboarding events later this week. We also are producing video series on the mental focus. olympic competitors. Need so we wanted to have on the podcast. Michael tab video producer here at five thirty eight to talk about all that. How's it going michael. How about with great. Great to have you on. Thanks so much for joining us. So we're gonna play a quick clip from the first video in this series which is about how paralympic archer uses mental projection to help him competes. I'll play against playing cards. The heart of the opponent gets the higher. The number is so what you is turning over and nine. What i see is my opponent on my right. Just shot a nine. It's somebody that i've shot against on a regular basis. Somebody that is good. Somebody know that. I will compete against at some point again and the more that i can beat him in my mind at home the more likely of beating him on on the actual course the this whole video is so cool and i really recommend checking it out on five thirty youtube channel. Michael can you take us through. Some of how olympic athletes use mental visualization to practice their sports. And also how you helped to visualize the science behind it. I mean visualization. I think is something you learn about really young as an athlete. I know playing high school tennis really badly. We often talk on the bus ride over to different events about sort of putting yourself in the game so you could have a sort of rehearsal before it was the real thing but for elite athletes. He goes a lot deeper. And so coaches tend to refer to it as mental imagery. Since it's more than just what you see. But it's all these different senses combined and then there's even motor imagery or kinesthetic imagery where you can really feel the motions of competing and that's especially powerful for visualizing it for the video. There were a few things. We tried to pull. Together was a technique called layering where you're adding more and more senses to this mental representation and so that was really conducive to graphics. Some other things were we featuring. Fm is study where they scanned the brain of some elite archers and compared their imagery practices in their brains to more novice athletes and saw what the differences were. And that's pretty telling because you can really see clearly how they're using mental imagery so much more efficiently. It's activating very specific. Parts of their brain involved in those movements whereas more novice athletes. They still have a lot of activation in their brain. Things are clearly happening. It's just much more diffuse and not being used as specifically and we also did some animations of some of the muscular pathways that are involved in imagery just to give sort of explanation of some of the deeper science of how this works anatomically. That's so cool. It's so interesting that the really is such a difference between people who are really good at this people who are just you know just novices that you know it's sort of a testament to like the expertise is real. You can see it in the brain which is very very cool. It's really interesting..

"Titans at nine and a half to eleven win team is playing an extra games. They had some big pieces on defense. And julio jones offense. I think that's an easy nine and a half. Thank you out. I don't now. I got no problem with. Just their defense defense was godawful last year. By depre- comes then we'll see what bugging do companies on the list which makes sense not ready. It'll be ready in time for Week one i believe so. I could be wrong but i thought so would the watch. He's very he'll be ready to budget but see we read important tweet from chef titans nine and a half that what he said. I don't hate that. No no i actually saw in that division because we talked about this before because of carson carson's going to be i took the title is a win that division like i know. We're getting with the titans. Yeah i have no idea what we're getting with carson wentz do you probably some great maybe fino carson showing up early talking. Maybe you're right. He's ready and showed up early. Going to participate with the rookies. I don't know. I honestly don't know in kazbek jackson what's going on i. I know i couldn't get through on thursday. "Plus one thirty like who's going to beat them in that division. I know how you feel my brain I was hopping paint james. All weekend or you're paying. I was i was staying. Oh lacquer fuck in too much lacquer on that guy right now but you're right so to win the division. It was plus one fifty packers and vikings. Now the packers are minus one. Thirty win totals. I think they were down to like eight and a half. They opened it eleven. It's at nine and a half nine and a half now is significantly giusti over. It's minus one sixty now. Yeah it was plus plus one thirty on saturday morning to over nine and a half outside. It's the number. Didn't change in some some eight and a half but never saw get that low so it's up to minus one sixty. I would be surprised if this doesn't go to ten utah believe and even then are you. Are you worried that everyone knows that. It's his last season or does that bother you at all. I don't think. I don't think that makes it. I think i think we if we know anything about raji he's a spike guy fits his last season here. I think he's gonna want even though it's like he's waiting for the organization that i don't think hates. The organization hates a couple of people in the organization. So if he wins. Despite that i i he's all right with that and him in devante go somewhere else whereas i mean the question that'll be that'll be huge because realistically could both go to an nfc team if the rogers if that's how they figure out his contract yes if a ended up just doing like tom brady thing where it's this year and then can opt out or whatever that's gonna be fucking wild that's going to be wild but nine and a half..

"Decided in training camp. Mets who's the heir apparent drew brees in new orleans. The two parties involved jameis winston and tastes some hill. All pro cam jordan. He was asked about the situation and he shared his thoughts. I do know that We have a baller jameis. Winston guy who you know can release that thing in the air. It's bombs etta james this way then. Of course you're talking about taste and you know. After last year we went through with them so known to win at high clip with them. It's going to be fun and interesting to see who ends up being quarterback if that is such a discussion is beyond my pay grade in. I like to say not. Many things are beyond my pay quote right there to finish it off darlington. What's the window one. The saints need to make the decision on their starter by the way. It ain't beyond his pay grade but look. We have incision to make pretty quick guys. Because you do have to quarterback score polar opposites of one another in him hill unorthodox quarterback in the conventional james winston. Sean payton you'll need to do this as fast as possible. So we can continue to build that offense around the quarterback. This is not a traditional quarterback competition in new orleans but it is one that right now feels dead heat down. The middle of sean payton tries to figure out which will be week one starter. Swag you know sean. Payton if you were sean payton. Who do you believe should be the starting quarterback in new orleans. It would be dame as wisden. Because i can keep a lot of what i with. Drew brees expound on that with the explosiveness of his arm and obviously we know the elephant in the room. When it comes to james will take care of the football but if he does this offense can be more explosive than it was last year with drew brees and i know that saying a lot and i get a sense that sean payton would prefer have tastes of yield in the role that he's been in because that makes them very difficult to stop from an offensive standpoint. So when i look at this situation with jameson year away. Able to digest sean. Payton with the veteran show everybody in his league that he can play at a high clip. A you look at the people surrounding him possibly a healthy michael. Thomas alvin kamara. Obviously being there. I believe jameis winston will be the starter and i think he's going to have a lot of success and don't sleep on the saints because tampa is in division guys. Don't sleep that's right. Thank you thank you. Listen when i think about this. It's gotta be jameis winston. Not not only. Do you have a quarterback. And i get the interceptions in tampa bay. But let's not forget. The coach he played for in bruce arians in tampa bang. No risk it no biscuit right. He wants to push the ball. He wants quarterbacks to take chances. Jameis winston did not do what he was supposed to do when he was in tampa bay. Sean payton does not have that mentality. I have played in super bowls against shawn. He will dink. And don't you to death. Whatever you give him. He will tell his quarterback this what we're going to take that will play and benefit jameis winston in this offense now you allow tastes them hill to be what he has been for your offense the last few years and only get better now. You have more weapons on the outside. Now you have more weapons in the backfield. All of those benefit the entire football team as long as james winston protects a football in. Sean payton offense not bruce. Arians offense the offense. He's playing in now. This team is one to be reckoned with. So when i look at this to me. it's gotta be winston in less clearly tastes them hill. Outplacement him at quarterback which i just don't think he's gonna have to listen. You say what you want about. James winston do could spin it about as good as anybody in the game right. He can throw that thing. He's got an absolute can be so so it's the interceptions that have been the knock on him. But let's not forget the differences in the entirety of the offense so swagger. I'm gonna make the case for tastes million. You can just shredded if so light but last year winter saints you will when the saints lost breeze. They turn to taste some hill. Not jameis winston. And i know that had a lot of mon- on twitter with the saints. Restructuring tastes them hills contract and putting four void years in there but there were some method behind that madness. The boilerplate is in place if he balls out and they tried to extend them next. Offseason is there any chance in your opinion to the saints. Do turn to taste of him. Baby face you just trying to break the fight up but you got caught in the middle of the blows first of all when the beatles that in four games spritz okay the four teams that they played up. I mean my high school senior. We've gotten rid of the fourth quarter lead. The second thing is this man and to your point like i believe peyton led a little bit of emotion. Get him to put them in the game because he felt responsible to put him in the in the game and see what he had and giving them an opportunity to based on conversations. The other part of this is then. Teddy bridgewater go five or note or something like that when he came in for drew brees. So listen jameis. Winston under sean. Payton where we've seen other quarterbacks not have a lot of success but play at a high enough level to steal win games. Jeff saturday and i believe that jamie was mr. We'll take that to the next level. Apparently wise in the eagles wrong plenty of again at some point again. Go ahead jeff. Saturday real quick. I feel how many passes did hill. Complete against the broncos. I help you nine. The whole lot of quarterback play in that game his best. But it wasn't like required to lay the broncos and the broncos that game play with my son at quarterback hey kendall hidden now we gotta move forward a one more thing and we're going to go for the colts listening tweeted. We have a generous fifteen dollars. Buy you like a beer on nantucket swagger. What are you doing with your money and you can look at that. I see right there about three bucks we can. I don't know if we can zoom in on that. But i really handsome looking at this man a mask or pay. Hey hey you know my favorite part. That's three dollars four that made on my rituals dining three dollars zero dollars. If you got a swag you got your bonus pay because we have about fifteen seconds levin show. I do think though that he's good for helping Shore up the back a little bit in that he gives us at least another at least medium level defense mod. Does his job? Well, you know, not your Superstar, but certainly not I'm turning the puck over all the time this and that I think Friday was more of his welcome to Boston game than Wednesday because Friday you could not really I mean he was one of the people you couldn't get besides your boyfriend Frederick. "You was with the Jazz the last year so, you know nice athletic guard for them, you know Wing another guy to take a shot on so long that might be a little bit of a revolving door for Philly to be quite honest. They they could move guys in and around that but yeah, so but Horford in help to go back to that I think you know as soon as they can find a good deal for those who guys he'll clearly much easier to move, you know makes less than ten million dollars and next year's barely guaranteed and then Horford is a little harder cuz he's got a big year off Big E's by year next year, but then the year after that it's only about half guaranteed but he looked pretty good this year at times when he's played he's out right now cuz he just had a birth of a child so he's been out for about a week or so. But yeah, those are two other guys that I think will eventually get moved. Yeah. I think those are are definitely options to to move the other name and we're throwing there is is Trevor Ariza. I think that's yeah. It's a guy who who who make a log That's I don't know. Yeah, I don't know for sure. What's going to happen that we've heard a few things about well, maybe he's not going to be bought out instead. They're going to look to try to trade him. But but that's the other type of player teams might be interested could be it's like it reminds me a little bit of the Andre iguodala's situation from last year where you know, the eventually there's going to be probably a movie there by out or move most teams are probably going to want to buy out but the teams get a hold on and see if she can can find a trade. Yeah, and if OKC can get any form of draft pick for a Rize A lot of time on X we talked about it when we broke down the trade, but he's another one and then Andre Drummond as a result of the trade. You can see the Cavs cuz now they've got to tear down. He's there Center in the future. They not going to have him and Ramadan that roster next year. So if they can get something for drumming this year and Drummond's playing honestly, he's playing the you know, I'm not an Andre Drummond guy and he's playing the best. He's ever played, you know, he's actually playing pretty good defense offensively. He still does some mind-boggling stupid stuff. But you know, he's rebounding like crazy. You know, he is, you know, he's been a good fit with those young guards, but again a lot of the future so they can move on from drama and I think you're going to see the Cavs do that..
